Designed and built by MandalArms at their main facility in Keldabe, Mandalore, the Backfire Gunship is robust but swift. Where the War Pig is built as an infantry fighting vehicle, equipped for fire support, the Backfire is a personnel carrier first and foremost. Equipped with a strong defence, agility, and speed, she is not heavily armed, and is more focused on transporting troops to battle.
Her armaments are sufficient for self defence against enemy starfighters or emplacements, but not for much else, and once she has delivered her cargo, the Backfire is best advised to exit the combat zone forthwith. Powerful engines and thrusters as well as repulsor arrays allow her to move quickly and with a good top speed, better suited to evasion than to attack. |

My issue is the 200 troops for a 90 meter transport seems a bit much. I'd go for 100 at the most. I was looking around and the closest I could find was around ~80 for about less than a hundred troops. It seems it depends on the configuration of the transport. But, the carrying capacity of this shuttle does not seem to match up with its size.

Agreed on that.
I also have questions on the Hellcaster Cannon. That reads as a more experimental one off on the Nemesis and that ship was a one off.

The Hellcaster Cannon I'm not too fussed about, since it gives a narrative reason these would be more limited use.
In terms of troop space, very much more inclined to agree 100 is probably a better number for the size of the ship.

Given that it is meant to be an anti-personnel weaponry and this gunship does bring troops to the heart of combat, it makes sense to have such a weapon.
