Description:
Created as a mean to deploy heavy vehicles like the Krabbex-class Mobile Fortress on a planet, the MC20a Heavy Transporter was designed by Mon Calamari Shipyards to enforce this grand vision. Being able to carry anything up to the size of one Supreme Vehicle, smaller than 201 meters, the MC20a is piloted by 12 crewmembers in order to fully function. Although a minimum of 50 passengers has enough space to stay aboard a loaded Heavy Transporter, the MC20a can carry 300 passengers within its main storage room, should it not be occupied by larger vehicles. It is armed with 2 point defense cannons, making it barely a threat to anything larger than a starfighter. The MC20a is designed to land within planetary atmosphere, featuring its loading ramp at the bottom of the ship.
