Blackguard Reborn - OoC Planning and Recruitment Thread

Greetings all,

So with the talks of a Sith Triumvirate swirling about, I have decided to speed up the process of creating a Sith-led Darkside faction. After several days and multiple hours of research, I wanted to find something that would be accommodating to all aspects of the Dark Side. Also, reviving the Blackguard seemed appropriate in Viox's quest to become the 'Darkness Incarnate'. Now before you go assuming that I am contradicting myself, hear me out:

Viox is and has always been a Sith for his tenure on JvS. Before he was a Sith, he was a Jedi (how typical, right?). Falling from the light, he eventually transformed into the prickly, scowling bastard we all know and love today. Through recent events, mostly in the Journal of the Whills, though also on Iridonia, Viox has acquired the essences of several Zabrak elders dating back to the time of the Old Republic/Sith Empire era. Upon acquiring these ancients, he's beginning to see that the dark side simply isn't powerful enough to give him what he desires, so he must expand his search to other aspects of the Force. Like all Sith, he craves power and would throw his mother out an airlock to achieve more. (Jokes on you, she's been dead for a long time...or is she...?) So, having a faction led by a Sith craving more power, but based off of understanding the philosophies and abilities of other Force traditions seemed, to me at least, very suiting for what I had in mind. Viox is still very much a Sith, and he will still act like one, but having others join him will ultimately help him further his end game.

-The Ravager's purpose was to defend the order's headquarters, similar to a Jedi Brute, however unlike the Jedi Brute, a Ravager could be anyone, not just someone of intimidating bulk, providing they were an expert at lightsaber combat and Force combat techniques.

-The Spellbinder's purpose was to learn and unlock the secrets hidden in the depths of alchemy and sorcery, applying them as advantages to the Blackguard as well as using its destructive powers against the enemies of the order.

Once the Blackguard has a few more active members, I will be looking to organize RP against the Jedi as well as the Mandos and anyone else interested. I am hoping to focus RP on acquiring holocrons, relics and artifacts powerful with the Force, both light and dark. Also, to keep attention drawn away, I would like to utilize smuggling crews to bring relics to Iridonia. Hopefully with what I have in mind, Blackguard can generate some RP with all groups available on JvS. Once ready to begin RPing SL's, I will message members of the Jedi, Mandalorians and other Sith factions to organize SL's. Nothing large scale to start, as that seems to always bog down and lose momentum. If we can keep SL's short and sweet and to the point, I think we should be able to keep things rolling nicely.

All ranks are a first come first serve at the moment, unless you feel your character could fit specifically into a certain role/rank. There can be multiple people for all ranks as well. The Blackguard Reborn will be based off of Mustafar, but still use Iridonia and utilize the Sith Academy there for the time being.
