Traa'iin looked more closely at the details provided. Listening he wasnt so sure that this Prefect Kar was not in fact a fool. Unless he had no choice or Ach'to had some kind of hidden properties that were worth exploiting, he had picked a place that appeared to be difficult to live at best, disastrous for a growing population at best. Everything would have to come from the sea, and if he were not prepared or had angered what shapers he had...
"Well I suppose that we shall have quite a bit of work to do. Shall we?"

"Indeed." Hissed Nem through his gnullith, turning off the display with a stroke of the biots reflex, still peering across the table at Traa'iin. "I had considered the stealthy approach, but..." He cleared his throat awkwardly. "...I was worried you'd slow me down." He held up a callused hand. "No offense, of course. We all have our talents, and I desperately need yours, otherwise I wouldn't have asked you to come. It's just tradition amongst my domain to try to sneak up on one another, get as close as we can to putting a coufee to each others throats, all without being detected."The Intendant had always found it odd why so many of the infidel races from this galaxy liked to announce themselves, even going so far as to install special mechanical devices aboard their ships that electronically inform others of who they were. His own people were not above announcing themselves either, obviously, having made quite a habit of it during the war in order to sew fear amongst future slave populations. His own Domain, however, preferred the comfort of the shadows. He shrugged. "It doesn't matter. We have enough ships between us here that we can make a suitably theatrical entrance." His cheekbones lifted, suggesting he was perhaps grinning behind the gnullith. "I'm sure he'll expect us to land at near the bottom of the island where the terrain is a little flatter and there is more room to park, but..." He chuckled. "...heh, we're not going to do that. Otherwise, why bother having arrest tentacles?" He was definitely grinning. "We'll set down right near those peaks at the top of the island. He won't like that."What else? Hmmmm. "Assuming we don't encounter any obstacles, instruct your escorts to do a flyby of the island before we set down. We'll bring our yorik-vecs in at a steep angle on a rapid descent. Who knows, we might even catch them by surprise?" He could already picture Kar screaming bloody Yuuzhan at him for parking on the roof of his office, assuming he still used those caves.

Traa’iin considered the Prefects words, and surreptitiously began collecting DNA, his shapers fingers tasting and categorizing the small particles that were left in the wake of every person, and for the Vong every thing. While he didn’t have as much experience with the spies of their people, he was beginning to understand why they were looked at with distrust, it wouldnt be bad to have a backup plan, but it wouldnt do to give notice of said thoughts.
“It sounds like there is a bit of a...damaged relationship there. Very well. We shall play the game, though if they don’t wish help then I see no reason to not reward their foolishness with a pitiful existence of scratching rocks and splashing in the water. While they may be our people, if they are so foolish to reject what is freely offered, then I and my adepts have other things to focus on. A high speed flyby then, and my yorik-vec will mirror yours. Though if there is a pirate presence here, despite our escort, I suggest we move on. Skill cannot beat luck every time after all.”
With a gesture he motioned for the adepts and warriors to begin returning to their yorik-vec.

"Agreed." He replied, unconvinced but reluctantly acceding all the same. If they were to run into trouble and something befell the Master Shaper, he didn't expect that would endear him to the Supreme Commander any more than their initial introduction. Having spent years aboard the Cutlass as a member of the Bloodrage Pirates, the former Vong Reaver had more experience with pirates than most infidels, let alone his own people. Greed drove their kind. It drove him too to a degree, but unlike those dregs his own avarice did not bow to fear. They would break if presented with an appropriate threat. Fortunately the Yuuzhan Vong happened to be quite good at making those."Darkspace calls." His voice hissed through the gnullith. "Let's not waste any time." Following their planning session, after the Master Shaper and his retinue returned to their ship, Nem returned to the Bleeding Orifice's cockpit and once more donned the hook adhered membranous symbiotic tall-yor. Shortly thereafter the modified yorik-vec's dovin basal array manipulated gravity to propel nimble coral craft into the winding corridors of darkspace on a heading towards Ahch-To.
