Ships of Taskforce: 1X Dynamic-Class Freighter Star's End
*Star's End Freighter drops out of hyperspace in high orbit of the planet Adumar. On board the freighter are pilot David Brightsky, his droid T3-D4, and two GALSAF Commandos, Gunner Sergent Merve Huno and Specialist Ghastlark.*
Transmission to docking facilities as follows: "To Cartann City docking authority, this is the freighter Star's End, carrying three crew and one droid, requesting landing and docking procedures. Please assign docking fees to Captain David Brightsky's account at the Cartann City Bank, account number Alpha 2-7-8-9-9-0-4-2-9-8. Repeat, hailing Cartann City docking authority, this is freighter Star's End requesting landing and docking procedures."

*"Star's End, this is Cartann City Landing Control, we receive your transmission requesting landing instructions. Account information at Cartann City Bank verified, all charges to be accrued will be applied to your account. Please proceed to North Landing Area, pad Echo Two-One. Keep to the designated glide path, and welcome home."*
David Brightsky breathed a sigh of relief as he began the descent into Cartann City. It had been months since he had been back home, months since he had eaten food that had not been dehydrated and vacuum-packed, and months since he had breathed non-recycled air and drunk non-recycled water. He had put everything he had into that old corvette, salvaging it, bringing it back from the dead, and now it was sitting in the starboard cargo hold of an ex-Imperial Star Destroyer, either being fixed up by a team of trained engineers or stripped down to bare bulkheads for spare parts and vented into space. He had two weeks to recruit a crew, put them on some form of retainer, and return to Yavin IV to inspect the damage. He only hoped that his ship would be waiting for him when he returned.
"Gunner Sergent Huno, Specialist Ghastlark, have you decided whether or not you will be staying on the ship for the duration of our stay on Adumar?" Brightsky inquired as he worked the controls.
The kilometers shrank as the tops of the skyscrapers of Cartann City began appearing above the cloud tops. Small silver spires lit by neon red and green altitude indicators blinked lazily, appearing seemingly as disembodied monoliths peeking above the grey cloud banks. The Star's End made its way into the clouds, producing small swirls of moisture as it flew through the spring clouds.
"We'll be staying aboard the Star's End during the stay on Adumar. We were ordered to ensure that you return to Yavin IV, and the easiest way to make sure of that is to stay with the ship," replied Specialist Ghastlark.
"Please tell me you will at least be changing out of your armor? Adumar is at peace for the moment, but I would advise against wearing that armor out in the city. There are still some ex-blastsword duelists who are looking for good fights and they will take your fashion as a challenge," explained Brightsky.
"We will be careful then," replied Ghastlark.
"Suit yourself," Brightsky said in an off-handed manner.
Brightsky worked the controls as they came to hover over the landing pad. The ancient freighter came to a rest on its landing struts, which gave a disapproving screeching as they touched ground and bore the weight of the ship. Springs and suspension creaked and groaned, and the ship came to a rest. In the cockpit, Brightsky threw the toggle switches for the hyperdrive motivator, ion engines, and shields. He stood up from the pilot's chair.
"Alright gentlemen, since we're here I will leave you both here to enjoy the wonders of Cartann City's nightlife. I'll be in the southern district of the city, apartment block AA-4850, apartment C-350 if you need anything. D4, please make sure that our guests have enough bedding and food for the morning. I will be here bright and early at 0800 hours to bring you to the local cantina where I've recruited crew in the past. Don't wear that armor to the cantina. Other than that, have a pleasant night," Brightsky said as he made his way out of the cockpit and towards the rear of the ship.
He threw one last switch on the side panel at the rear of the ship, opening the doors to the boarding ramp. He made his way down the ramp, took a deep breath of fresh air, and walked onto the polished concrete of the landing pad, happy to return home alive once more.

A large bulk freighter exits out of hyperspace, and slowly rendezvous with another freighter in orbit. This was a very routine trading exchange - Adumar, known for it's starfighter and technology exports, had a vast supply of such materials for trade, and the Captain of the freighter had set up the rendezvous for exactly that purpose. Docking, the two freighters airlocks equalized pressure and atmospheres before opening up, and the two captains greeted each other. The native captain - a grizzled and ancient Adumari by the name of Witiker - smiled openly and warmly, and shook the hand of the younger Captain, one Captai Wyett.
=Witiker= "Wyett, ye old space dog! How's it been going?!
=Wyett= "Whoo! Just picked up a shipment of Kriin wood from Alderaan...got a taskmaster with a schedule and a whip."
=Witiker= "A'ight, a'ight, won't take up much of your time then! Got a shipment of lightboards fresh in...flight consoles, doorlocks, the whole shebang!
The two entered into Captain Witiker's freighter, and the shipment was inspected...indeed, as the captain claimed, it was a shipment of lightboards right off the assembly line. Witiker it seemed, had convinced his supervisor to let Wyett have first pick - if he failed to buy them in bulk, then Captain Witiker would continue on to the Ceda system, and put the items on market. On inspection though, Wyett found that they were to his specifications and liking...and purchasing the whole lot of them, loaded them onto his freighter. The two captains spent a while afterward, talking of the olden days of smuggling and excitement and adventures of younger men. After an hour or so, the two bid each other goodbye...and the two ships went there separate ways. Silently, Captain Wyett and his ship oriented once more...paused...and then with a flash disappeared into hyperspace.

Bane's Tail A Venator-class Star Destroyer dropped out of Hyperspace far away from the planet closer to outer edges of the system, General Kane stood on the bridge, he would hold this position while he looked into rebuilding his Master's fleet, he pulled up a list of shipyards and put together the fleet list in a file and sent the information to both Axe and Psi before they exited to the field, Psi would see to getting the ships and Axe would see to getting the troops, this was not the 1st time they had to rebuild the foundation of their master's household, Azaia HIs wife and sister to his Master walked on to the bridge masking herself in the force as she snuck up on him kissing him on the cheek*
Azaia: you are hard to resist when your focused
Kane: My Love to what do I owe the pleasure
Azaia: I am going to take over one of the nation on the planet in this systems I have been studying up on the culture of the planet and they are warrior people to a degree and will be useful to my brother, plus establishing a small kingdom will provide a more stable flow of resources,
Kane: we do not have the forces for a military campaign right now,
Azaia: I will not be waging war to achieve my goal, you men and your primitive tactics, I shall simply infiltrate the court overthrow the current ruling family in exchange for our own,
Kane: is this to get off the ship
Azaia: its to build the future of the tribe, Kashyyyk was a great lost, so we must set up a new home for the tribe, a place for the young to run and raise their akk dogs,
Kane: Should your brother not pick this new home them ,
Azaia: he has more trust in me then you, prepare me a ship and a plain clothes troop assignment General Kane that is all
Kane: yes my lady
*Azaia exited the bridge as swift as she had come he could tell he had upset her and was sure he would pay for by a long absence, he felt her desire to choke him but she reframed because he was in front of his men, he knew his master and sister acted with the same intent for the tribe, he sent the orders for her escort knowing he would miss waking up next to her with the cosmos laid in front of them.

From Hyperspaceboards.jedivsith.com/thread/157/hyperspace?page=13&scrollTo=86440As Phantom's Saboath Destroyer came out of Hyperspace along the standard hyperspace lane Belbe, who had remained aboard Stormro's personal ship in the hanger, performed a routine scan of the system as she always did when emerging from hyperspace. When the much larger Venator-class Star Destroyer came up on the "Wraith's" sensors, however, she instantly contacted Stormro through his neural communications implant on a secure channel. "Lord Stormro, there appears to be a Star Destroyer of some sort present, lurking towards the edge of the system. It is too far out to get a clear visual on, but I am confident that it is a Star Destroyer." Affirming her statement wordlessly, Stormro quickly rose from where he was sitting in a manner that would likely seem sudden. "My apologies, but it would seem as if we have a problem. I must get to my ship in order to better rectify the situation, but I would appreciate it if Lord's Phantom and Ferinus could be retrieved as soon as they have finished whatever is causing the ship to tremble so that we may resolve this. Belbe shall be along shortly to serve as my representative." With that cryptic statement Stormro strode out of the room at a brisk pace, breaking into a full blown Force-enhanced sprint once he was out of sight. So focused was he on the sudden complication that he even neglected to tell Nel to remain in the conference room. Moving quickly through the ship, Stormro made his way to the hanger within minutes of them having entered the system and ran up the ramp onto his ship. Settling down in his meditation sphere, Stormro slipped into meditation and began expanding his sphere of influence outward. His primary focus at the moment was to conceal Phantom's markings which were emblazoned across the hull of the ship, marking it as his own and making his presence known to those who knew his heraldry. While he kept his presence in the Force as subtle as he could it would be impossible to expand his sphere of influence this much and remain invisible, and thus as his presence stretched thin across the vessel the others on board would finally be able to sense him as his power washed over them. For Nel, this was more power than she would have ever felt Stormro show, and even those who had known him previously would likely recognize that he was revealing more of his actual capability than he normally did. An illusion of this scale was a major endeavor, even for the Lord of Deception, but the fact that he merely had to cover the markings combined with his meditation sphere and the dark artifacts within it to help ease much of the burden as Phantom's heraldry seemed to vanish from the hull of the craft. As soon as Stormro had entered the ship Belbe departed, walking briskly through the corridors of Phantom's ship in the direction of the conference room so that she could represent Stormro while he maintained his illusion; she would be communicating with him via his neural implant and would be able to speak for him.

The more Ver'metus addressed her, the more the Zabrak felt herself withdraw again. She had tried to word things as diplomatically as she could and it would seem it had backfired on her. She had not wanted to seem so... picky with her words, but her eagerness to learn had been tempered in the past. She had not wanted to seem overly interested, either, but all of that was for not, it seemed. Her fingers clutched at the box again. 'Should you make it to the end...' That phrase played over and over in her mind, and Nel couldn't help herself from visibly swallowing in distress before she looked to Aysa as she too spoke. Entitlement? She could tell the woman about entitlement she had seen amongst her peers... fire played in her memories and she shut her eyes a moment to regain herself. Not here. Not now. Being the center of attention was not the time to be remembering everything falling apart around her. Another shudder through the ship and her knuckles turned white on the box before the apprentice forced herself to relax. It wasn't worth damaging it to be so... tense.
And then her master's own words felt like a slap across the face. She inhaled through her nose, her shoulders tensing more and it took all she had not to have them come up to her ears. Instead, one of her hands shifted from the box to her leg and dug her nails into the flesh through the body suit. Something to focus on beside the spike of fear in her system. Before she could find something to say though, the man next to her stood abruptly and excused himself. Was that really how meetings were conducted with the Sith? One merely left when they grew bored? She went to follow, but something tugged her back down into her seat and she sighed. No. Best not to follow without express orders to. Her eyes flashed to the other two, however and she swallowed again, feeling much like a piece of meat available for predators to gorge on. The Zabrak took a deep breath as she turned in her chair again to face the only two left, her gaze still on where her Master had left... and then she felt it. His power, and she withdrew internally away from it, to once more hide herself. Today was not a good day for her. What was going on? "Um... I would like to apologize for my outburst earlier, before Master had deemed fit to correct my mistake."
Nel was referencing her face meeting the table, but it just seemed appropriate to apologize for it regardless. The look she gave them was apologetic, even, her lip quirked up some and her eyebrows drawn back in worry. "And I'm still adjusting to being allowed to ask so many questions again. My tongue sometimes gets the better of me and wags before I'm ready."
She looked away from the pair, back to the door, pulling her lower lip between her teeth as she looked back to the door, as if it was the most fascinating thing in the room now.

*Ver'metus eyes the young apprentice for a moment, she said she had questions but she hadn't asked anything much yet. He furrowed his brow slightly as he gave his whiskey a swirl before taking another swig of it, returning it to the table he eyed the apprentice again.*
Young one, I may be blunt, I may be harsh. But Stormro is no pushover. He would put any time or effort into you if he did not see potential. He has never been one to waste time. Be confident. Ask your questions and take your answers, for if Phantom's anger rises, none of us will be around to ask any questions it seems.
*He gave his head a shake as he feels Phantom's anger, he couldn't be to judgemental about it as he'd had his anger issues in his life, maybe more then a few times, but he could not help but feel like this time might be overdoing it.*

Zadea growls softly as Ferinus arm goes to go around her to escort her out again, not that he was helping, but the destination that she was being returned to. She closed her silver eyes and shakes her head, the black streaks that were hidden beneath the silver toplayers of her hair peeking out as she does. She put an arm around Ferinus as she rises.
I'd rather a torture chamber then that cursed white hell. Or Face a Jedi contingent...
She looks back at Phantom as she were led out, it had been a long time since she'd seen him, he seemed different, everything seemed different. She felt like nothing was as it was supposed to be or something were missing. Her head turns, and she eyed Ty briefly. She closed her eyes for a long moment.
I just need a very stiff drink... anything but a sleep... I feel like overslept...
She let out a loud sigh as they walked along, she looks across at Ty, and the small bundle in her arms, She felt pangs of guilt, for what her reaction was, for realizing how long it had been since she'd seen any of her children, for not knowing exactly how long it had been. She shakes her head again and looks up at Ty, doing as she was told not to and held more of her own weight, and eyeing the baby again.
You know Ty... It has been along time since I'd held an infant...

**Ferinus turned on Tyrana as she made her little comment about he and Phantom. He was practically blowing steam from his nostrils.**
"I suppose you think you're being clever, do you, little missy? Well, this is hardly the time for such nonsense. Not with that little bundle of poodoo in clutched in your arms."
**Then she thrust it into his face! Was....was she asking him to judge its cuteness?? What in all of the fiery hells of the Netherworld.**
"For the love of Bane, get that thing out of my face! Infants vomit in a projectile manner!"
**As the four of them finally approached the med bay of Phantom's ship, Ferinus saved with his free hand and the doors slid open. He immediately crossed into the sterilized chamber and set Zadea back down on the bed. He left her to open the drawers and find what he was seeking.**
"I know you hate it here, Zadea, but you're being far too overconfident in your body right now. Overconfidence can very well lead to your downfall. I'm certain Ver'metus has told you the same, no?"
**Finally finding the syringe he was looking for, he held it up before his dark onyx eyes, studying its liquid contents. He whispered to himself as he studied the dosage.**
"Yes...." **He almost hissed** "This will do quite nicely for you."
**Remembering what happened last time he tried to treat Zadea manually, he wasn't going to give her the chance to perform any more funny business this time. He released the syringe and it floated in the air, gripped by the Force surrounding his palm. Then, in one lightning-quick motion, he sent it careening through the air and straight into the internal carotid artery in Zadea's neck. In the next second, the stopper was pushed down and the steroid was introduced. The syringe was then plucked from her neck and sailed through the air into the nearest disposal unit.**
"There, Little Miss Stab-Away-The-Day. The opposite of a stiff drink but it will get you on your feet and moving again, which I predict we will need to do very soon."
**Remembering Ty's words from earlier, Ferinus washed his hands and turned toward the woman holding the baby, looking down carefully, almost apprehensively at the little beast.**
"This will be a burden Phantom will now carry for the rest of his life. By that virtue alone, I would throw it out the airlock. As much as I respect his abilities, he has yet to face a challenge like this."
**Ferinus took slow steps toward Ty and the baby, his onyx eyes never once leaving the child.**
"Infants breed weakness. They are a cancer for a Sith, a liability. They cause one to look back, to place their focus on something apart from themselves. They can make you soft and unaware. They change you into someone you'd rather not be. In a universe like this, they can get you killed."
**His hand shot out and his fingers spread open, inches from the infant's face. Still, he made no movement to harm the child. He merely closed his eyes and stretched himself into the girl, feeling.....something. Something that, at the moment, was undefinable. He saw years and years of life that were like a blank slate, still to be determined. He saw power, untamed and budding. He saw.....unburdened life.
And it disturbed him.**
"And yet....this child's fate is not mine to determine. I sense power in her. The spawn of Phantom Armageddon will have her own part to play....however short-lived it may be."
**Suddenly, Ferinus whipped his head to the side, his eyes shutting far more tightly. He felt....he felt Stormro. Lord Ferinus shot his own black tendrils of thought out, trying to touch the corners of the ships.
He sensed...trepidation. Frustration? Determination. Feeling the connection with Stormro, he reached out to his old friend's mind.**
<<Something is wrong, I take it? Continue your efforts. I am returning posthaste.>>
**His eyes snapped open.**
"Something is awry. It calls for immediate attention. I am returning to the others. Phantom's contemplation session may have to be cut short."
**That's all he said as his body broke away like a crashing waterfall of black wisps of shadow, disappearing from the med bay.
He then burst into the air in an explosion of oily shadows back in the conference room. He clapped his hands back on the meeting table, staring at his old apprentice, the Lady Aysa and Stormro's current one.**
"What's happening?"

General Kane cursed to himself as the long range scanners alerted the crew of Bane's Tail about a ship about to drop out of hyperspace, when the Sabaoth Destroyer drop out of hyperspace Kane stood on the bridge looking out at the smaller ship in the distance, while it made no hostile actions Kane still odred the shield be charged, he knew this ship would not stop Azaia who was hell bent on establishing a place for their tribe of a people of darkside users on the planet. Psi his daughter come on to the bridge she walked over to one of viewing stations, she checked out the ship that had dropped out of hyperspace on the long range scanners *
Kane: they dont seem like they will be a problem ,
Psi: we have the bigger ship blast them and move on if they make any moves
Kane: they are on the edge of the system, their is no need to attack
Psi: The Pelekotan is at our command father but maybe you should hold off on moms departure
* at the same time Azaia walked into the hangar bay where a group of 20 clone troopers dressed in plain clothes as traders waited next to the transport but before she could board a servant girl stopped her*
SGirl: my lady a ship has drop out of hyperspace and stands between us and the planet, your departure has been delayed by order of General Kane
*in a fit of pure anger Azaia reached out with the force gripping the servant girl by the neck lifting her into the air, tears rolled down the servant girls face as she mouthed wordless apologies before Azaia force threw the girl across the hangar bay where she laid still for a moment before lifting herself up and running off, before could be punished more *
Azaia : Get General Kane on com now ...

His fury ebbed from him in pulses, the objects in his room shaking with every pulse, His jaw working slowly, grinding the glass into smaller shards, slicing his inner mouth and lips before taking a deep swig and swallowing them. The mechanical filter of his liver would dispose of them but the blood from the glass dripped easily past his lips, his normal sharpened ivory teeth stained as his eyes stayed locked on Chel
Seeing her push some vial towards him he quickly snatched it and flicked the top off of it sniffing deeply as his eyes flicked up at her. She was still bleeding from the blade he pushed into her and watched her body pale at it's loss
"You put me, and ALL of the people here at risk with this. You had Ty lower the bay shields and bring on an unregistered craft onto THIS SHIP?! What was the aim here? Why would you do this, and don't just say a child, if that were the case, you would have told Ty when you first knew and try to ease me into this?"
He turned from her, his nostrils flaring. It would save so much time to kill her, kill the child, kill Ty for the breach and move on, and yet as he thought about bathing in the blood of all 3 of them the purple eyes of his daughter came to mind.
Why was this affecting him so, after the planets he had ransacked, after the wars, all the lives he easily took and entire systems that burned with his touch, why was this stopping him?
Her name, those eyes, they were probing weaknesses that he needed to get command of and yet his psychosis was needling at him, braying loudly in the back of his head
She is dying as it is, toss the vial and marinate in her suffering, feed on the suffering and anguish, or kill the little...thing in front of her and Ty, watch them both suffer and then finish them to make a point.
Admittedly this was not a bad idea, his back to her as his shoulders rose and fell with each deep breath, each exhale hanging her life in its balance. If he kept it and both of the women alive, what message would that send to the others, would it undermine him, what about the daughter, she could be force sensitive as his family had been but what does that spell for her future and how does that change him?
Stop your damn worrying and finish her then, finish them all. You solve all the issues just with one movement. DO IT!
Turning on his heel he walked to her, heavy combat boots resonating on the hard floor and tossed the rum to the side shattering it as he stood in front of Chel. The now free hand took a saber hilt and ignited it, the deep red glow casting shadows across his gaunt face, the thick scar parting his face seeming to divide him into two parts
He peered into her eyes and then retracted the blade and pressed the hot hilt into her abdomen and grabbed her jaw wrenching it open and pouring the vial into her mouth before pressing his hand onto her wound, his hand seeming to glow as he healed the deep cut and then roughly pushed her onto the couch. His fingers coated in her blood and he held his pale hand in front of his face, licking them clean with a deep growl
"I will keep you alive for the time being, there is more about all of this I need to know and..."
From the conference room, the service droids had reported what was said out loud to Wraith on the bridge and that Stormro was already doing something about it. While the command droid had fought and commanded by almost all on board it was still his job to report to Phantom.
Phantom's comm squaked and he whirled on the device
Lord Phantom?
"OH FOR KRIFF'S SAKE WHAT IS IT NOW?!"
A momentary pause from the droid, though emotionally dead, it was programmed to work under incredible stress no matter who it was and would assess data and relay what would be needed in an efficent manner. There was no need for emotion, data was key and that is what would matter. In a fairly monotonious tone Wraith replied
There has been a very interesting development that needs you on the bridge. Lord Stormro is doing something to rectify it but you need to be on the bridge now.
Who the kriff made a droid talk like....wait, he did. Clearly it worked, slicing through the tension that he almost lashed out onto Chel and he growled
"And what code do you really think this...development needs"
His sarcasm was dripping through his teeth though clearly the droid would not notice nor care, all it did is analyze the pitch and tone of his voice and reply in the most effective manner
Minimum orange, though it could be red. We are awaiting your presence on the bridge
Before he could lash out, the comm went dead which let him mull over the information that was presented and pointed at Chel
"I suggest you go to the medical bay and rest, you are safest there for now. I will deal with the lot of you whenever I get the damn time."
Walking back to his closet, his boots crunching on the glass before going into the closet, he stood on the platform and the arms shot into his right arm and leg undoing them both and pulling down a new arm and leg both intended for code red situations. As the pneumatic arms hissed and worked he pulled down one of the long fighting cloaks and called his massive saberstaff to his hand. Slamming it into the floor and resting against it he sighed, the robotic arms outfitting his inner cloak with weaponry and did the same with the hidden stitching sewn into the outer cloak. The built in arms of the sleeves of his outer cloak fitted and locked before he turned and walked into the main room and looked Chel over
"We Are Not Done"
He bit out every word before storming out of his room, his presence like that of a dark black thundercloud, almost sucking the light out of his presence as he headed to the bridge to figure out what the hell was the damn matter this time

Ty grinned at Zadea's need of drinking and nodded to her as she looked at the child Zady I would love to drink with you! As for the kid. Maybe once you've regained some sanity, I'll let you hold her.....
She looked to Feri and held his gaze as he began his speech of the burden that this little thing in her arms was going to be on Phantom and Ty began to grow angry. Of course he was taking Phantom's side on this, they were close after all, but the fact he was subtly mentioning how he would get rid of the baby caused Ty to tense up. He did not think Chel had thought that very same thing? That Ty had tried to dissuade her from even revealing the child to Phantom until Ci was much older than an infant? Until she was less of a vulnerability and more of an investment? Feri's hand whipped out to rest over Ci'anne's face and Ty snarled low, a sound one would think could not be made by such a small statured human as she was. This was a warning that Ty was not afraid to do what she had to when it came to protecting the small life.
First off I did not realize that we would be having a full out meeting with everyone in the universe to discuss what the hell we're doing right after you put me on that metal bobber back on Kamino! If I would have known I wouldn't have sent for her once I had found Phantom on the planet! I was going to tell him until I recognized you! And also! Lady Chel did not ask for this either, but it happened. Are you saying that she was weak for allowing herself to become attached to a helpless creature!? That she is less of an asset because she protects this ones life as I do!?
Ty's eyes flashed dangerously and was about to respond to his jab of the child being "short-lived" when Feri's attention was taken elsewhere and he disappeared. Ty slumped against the wall and took a shaky breath, looking down at the baby and giving a sad smile to her niece.
Don't worry little one, I'll make sure that rude man doesn't hurt you ever. No no... you won't ever be hurt by a man like that...
Suddenly remembering Zad sitting across the room, Ty looked up at her and shook herself mentally, bringing her mind back to the present.
I wonder what's going on.... Hope it wasn't my doing! So... Zaddy... this is Ci'anne....
Cautiously Ty walked over to Zadea and presented the child before her, still tense
Chel watched Phantom take his drink and the vial and listened to the subtle sound of crunching glass as he chewed. When he spoke she flinched slightly at the venom she heard in his voice. Her mind moved slowly, trying to work overtime from her loss of blood and make sense of his words. She had put everyone on this ship in danger because she had been foolish enough to let herself think that what she was doing was the right thing. He wanted a reason but it could not be the child? But that was her only reason... was it? Perhaps subconsciously she had missed his company and all the things he had planned. Maybe she had wanted to be part of something big as she had begun to be a part of when she resided with him on Gyndine? Her mind kept her in silence as he walked away and her eyes watched his shoulders rise and fall with each breath he took. When he whipped around and began to advance on her, she held no fear in her gaze or body language, she was prepared for whatever he was about to do. As he ignited his blade her thoughts turned to the child, knowing that she would be safe with Tyra and that they had already discussed her care should this very situation happen. Chel gazed into Phantoms eyes as he raised the saber, ready for his blow when suddenly the blade went out and the red glow left a dimness in its absence. He grabbed her jaw as she gasped quietly at the burn of his saber hilt on her stomach as it melted the fabric it touched and obediently swallowed the vials contents. Grateful as she was for his decision, she was quite surprised that he was healing her wound himself, instead of sending her to the medical bay to heal. And even more grateful he pushed her onto the sofa since her legs could no longer support her. Still thinking of how to word her answer to his question, he became occupied with his comm, giving her a moment more to come up with an answer. Phantom I.... But it was too late to begin... He had dismissed her to the medbay and was leaving for the bridge, she took a shaky breath and heard his biting final remark before he went through the door and she collapsed onto the couch. Well at least I have a little more time.....?

Stand tall and have passion when you speak, Nel. Be confident and others will see the confidence in you. Do not apologise when you have done nothing wrong, it shows weakness that you and now we can ill afford. When you speak, make me believe in every single word that comes out of your mouth. When do you something, do it with conviction. Your Master sees something in you so make us see it too.
It was only as she finished talking to Stormro’s young apprentice did he stand, offer his apologies then race from the conference room. Aysa looked quickly to Ver’metus then to Nel and then at the large window that overlooked the black expanse of space. She stood and hurried towards it, peering out into the diamond speckled distance. She too felt something was wrong but not in the same sense that perhaps Stormro did. He had all sorts of links and connections, things that he relied on where she didn’t and couldn’t. She had her gut.
This is why I hate this ship. There’s always something.
She drummed her fingers against the metal plinth impatiently and starred further into space, trying to decipher the possible scenarios and their probability. In a way she was glad that Markus, her second in command of sorts wasn’t on the ship with her. He would be barking his own demands instead of embracing calm. The sound of Ferinus re-appearing in the room caused her to spin around to face him. Her eyes met his just as his hands hit the table.
“What’s happening?”
His question seemed more of a demand than a question but before he could say or demand any further, she silenced him by raising her finger to his face. Whether it seemed rude or not, she didn’t care. She hurried back to the conference table where her fingers danced quickly over the buttons that flickered blue with light. She opened a com channel direct to Phantom’s most loyal and trusted droid.
“Wrath, my love …” she asked sweetly but with an undertone of importance “…what’s going on? And don’t lie to me, you know I abhor liars”

Almost as if on cue Belbe strode into the conference room, her eyes quickly scanning across those present in order to gauge the situation. Phantom, while not present, was the master of this ship and if Stormro knew him even half as well as he felt he did the other Nagai would have some way of listening in on the conversation. His younger female associate was also not present, a fact which hardly surprised either Stormro or his replica droid given her earlier behavior, but her absence was unlikely to be an issue at the moment. The situation assessed, Belbe spoke in response to Ferinus' and Aysa's questions. "To answer both of your questions, as we exited hyperspace I detected a large warship of the Star Destroyer classification at the edge of the system. I notified Lord Stormro, who has since taken actions to conceal our identities from whatever organization or individual that would have such a craft monitoring Adumar. While the reasons for a large vessel such as that in system remain unclear, the increased attention to Adumar which it implies could very well make the implementation of our original plan...less viable. Thus, Lord Stormro felt it prudent to establish a plausible alias for our vessel as well as an alibi as to why it is in the Adumar system until we can decide upon which course of action we would like to take. While the two of us can do much to maintain this ruse, full implementation of the deception will require the assistance of others. That is where we stand currently. Our options, as Lord Stormro sees it, are to either remain on Adumar and attempt to enact our plans in spite of the presence of other factions and the inevitable attention which it will likely draw to the planet, or to relocate to another system in order to remain outside of the galactic spotlight. Are there any other questions?"

The Zabrak couldn't help but sigh at Ver'metus's comment about Phantom's wrath. He had a point for certain there, and a small amount of pride at Stormro choosing her to spend his time on. If what he said was true, then she certainly had to have some potential, right? Her shoulders squared some, but her eagerness was more tempered now then it was a few moments before. It seemed now was not the time to ask what she wanted to, as activity was certainly picking up, but if the man wanted her to ask a question, then so be it. "How-"
Ferinus came in at that point, however, rendering her question moot, really. "I... don't really know. Master just left to deal with something important, but I don't know the details yet."
She then turned to Aysa as the other woman spoke, and a soft, faint smile crossed her features as she listened. Something about Aysa's words hit just the right chord in her that really made her nerves settle down. Confidence. Passion. She once had those in spades. What happened to it? Right. She knew exactly when. Aysa then turned her attention to trying to figure out what was going on and Nel turned her attention inward, her grip on the box loosening again.
Yes, she still had her issues, and she still had the mental scarring to work through, but she could at least pretend to have some modicum of confidence in herself and what she was doing, right? What also helped her nerves was Belbe walking in at that moment, and for some reason, the ability to withdraw back out of the limelight made her feel safer, and in turn, a bit more sure of herself. She had been left alone for a year and survived on her own (even if her Master had been nearby), and because of that, solitude had become a nice companion at times. If she was alone, no one could judge her for what she did. She listened though, as Belbe spoke, shaking her head when asked if there were questions. "None I can think of, at least."

*Ver'metus waited as the young one was about to speak then she were cut off by Ferinus suddenly appearing amoungst them. Ver'metus would not have been surprised or distracted by it, having seen its like many a time before, save for the sense of urgency that he felt come across things. He listens to his old Master, then the speech of the droid thing that spoke, He waited silent a moment, his hand falling for his side as he thinks for another. He stood, as he did he shouldered off his outter cloak, and it falls back onto his chair. It was the first he'd not been cloaked since before he met up with Phantom and Ferinus. It revealed a black sleeveless leather top that huggged his chest, showing off the black tribal tattoos that covered his arms and shoulders, which upon closer inspection appeared to shift and move as his tempers shifted, and the alchemical tattoo of Ferinus on his right forearm.*
Brimstone... Of all the beings in all the Galaxies.... Brimstone...
*The last he'd seen that "Windu" was after the destruction of KA. He'd gone to see the destruction, being long after his and Ferinus departure, Brimstone had attacked him and they'd fought, Ver'metus remembered it clearly, and the scars on his right arm remembered it as well. Though he and Brimstones rocky past had started long before he ever left the KA, even as a member of that Academy they'd not seen eye to eye often. His fists clenched tighter at his side as his fingers slide around the Forked Lightsaber upon his belt as he walked around the table to look out one of the veiwports. His voice darker and colder then normal.*
If it didn't draw further unwanted attention I would suggest blowing his ship to space dust and moving on... Much as I hate to saw it, and much as I hate doing it. A...diplomatic approach is far wiser...

Zad glowers as she watches the needle, she didn't fight, being aware of what was being done to her she was much more receptive. She flinched only slightly at the needle and watches Ferinus, finding it quite amusing that he was taking such precautions with her. She rolled her eyes as she frequently was known for.
Come now, Ferinus, It wasn't that big a deal...
Zadea's jaw proverbially hits the floor as he speaks his opinion on babies, having 3 of her own in the past, she took great offense to this, as she bursts to her feet to retort he up and disappeared, only further angering her by the "slap" to the face and leaving. Her fists clenched and her eyes narrowed as she fumed and her mind reeled over the many words she would speak to him.
SITHSPIT! He just up and left!!
*She tilts her head as and sighs deeply as Ty stood closer. She looks down at the small child in Ty's arms, she reaches out and if Ty allowed it she would run the back on her fingers down the side of the childs cheeck affectionately, motherly instincts begin to take over and her temper settled, her coiled muscles relaxed, momentarily soothing the storm within her. She looks up at Ty, and with a small almost giggle as she jests.
Hope she doesn't get her looks from Phantom...the poor thing..

**Ferinus growled as the Lady Aysa held up a finger to him. He asked a perfectly legitimate question and he was in no mood for womanly petulance, especially from someone he didn't trust yet. He hadn't had a chance to riffing breathe since Kamino what with this meeting and his brother's accursed baby drama.
In that vein, Ferinus gave a curt nod to Nel as she spoke. So it was indeed Stormro who was addressing their current situation. Very well, then. He trusted Stormro to do what was best for their mission.
He shot his hand out and one of the bottles filed from the table into his palm. He took long swig from it, caring not for pretense at this point. If something was threatening them all, they would die. It was as simple as that. No more need for pedantics.
Then, the damned droid walked back in and brought them the answer they were all looking for. Upon Belbe's mention of who owned the ship hailing them, he abruptly stopped his drinking and set the bottle down. His eyes shot toward his old apprentice and saw him tense too. Perfectly justifiable. This was indeed a time for action.
Lord Ferinus raised his fist and rested his chin upon it, closing his eyes.**
"Saber...."
**Black twists of Force Lightning snaked across his closed fingers.**
"So, the old man managed to keep himself alive in spite of his....winning personality."
**Ferinus was a far different man and far more powerful Sith than the last time he'd seen Saber but he retained all of the memories from the old Kashyyyk Academy days, despite both of his previous deaths. He remembered all of the ways Saber had been a thorn in his side since he first set foot in the academy, how he had always advocated his death, how he had laughed at his training and his efforts. In truth, Saber had been one of the driving motivations inspiring Ferinus to graduate to Kissai and then to Jen'Ari. No matter how much Saber had moaned and bellowed at his rise, he could do nothing to stop it. Not in Feral's eyes or anyone else's. When Ferinus made his decision to break from the old academy so many years ago, he was glad to wash his hands of Saber and everyone else.**
"I would agree with you, Ver'metus," **He said through a tight mouth.** "Whatever he intends, it shouldn't concern us. None of us have even come across him in Bane-only-knows how long."
**His face snapped to the droid.**
"Adumar is no longer conducive to our plan. We find another option. A full-frontal assault for the world negates the purpose of our mission and reveals us to the other factions. I'd rather not be on every other would-be-Sith's or filthy Ji'Dai's radar....unless it's on my terms."

Storming to the bridge it was almost like the light around him was being sucked into a black hole, the only thing that was noticeable was the pair of deep amethyst eyes that glowered with hatred, anger, and unbridled malice. Walking up the ramp and taking position at the ships bridge Wraith began to relay information to him
We have detected a ship that is lingering in orbit. Lord Stormro has taken measures to defend against identification and there was a hail from an old KA code. That is also being taken care of. Defenses are up and.....
The babble fell deaf around his ears. This entire plan that was made, all of it was conveniently thwarted which only added fuel to his rage. Raising his right arm he called up a pillar, the floor panel sliding back and the pillar coming to his hand. Reaching up he plucked out his right eye and set it inside the recessed space. The eye spun and changed colors as it was updated with information.
After a few moments he plucked the eye from the pillar and put it back into the hollow socket. Turning on his heel and looking at the screens, he saw that everyone had gone back to the conference room. Long footfalls began to carry him out of the bridge and he began to simmer with anger
Those in his way now he perceived to be dead. Pompous in nature was never good, an ego that could never be satisfied was worse. Arming a person like that...idiotic. Fists clenching as he walked down the hall, he imagined sinking his fingers around either side of his jaw and ripping it open, splitting the head and watching the known harem scamper.
Coming to the back of the confrence room the doors slid back and he walked in, different garb than what he first had and only those closest to him would know just how armed he was. Boots included. Walking to the side bar he pushed the droid aside and took the stopper out of the decanter before draining the liquid. Walking back to the table he looked at all present a deep growl passed his lips
"Well, what the kriff now?!"
