{Not in the City at all, but on one of the Numerous Beaches}
The ocean was one of the things Jade most enjoyed about Lehon. Although, if she was being honest, the peacefulness was becoming irritating. She was used to the odd blaster bolt coming her way and the current absence of evil intent was unsettling. That wasn't enough to move her from her position though. She was currently lying flat out on the sand with only her head in the shade of a large palm tree. Her eyes were closed and she was listening with all her ears to the crash of the waves on the shore and the various little noises that were part of the beach. Somewhere down the coast a much younger female was trying to tire herself out while running on the sand and splashing through the waves.
Zaryna liked Lehon. It was very different from Corellia however. Even though Jade refused to discuss what had happened at the Jedi Academy she was fully aware that something had happened to Master Roma. Being busy was undoubtedly the best option. To that end, she had a plan. A small smile tweaked at the corners of her lips, brilliant green eyes sparkled mischievously. She hadn't told anyone, and she wasn't planning on it. Not yet anyway. Not till she'd made it happen. Zaryna was good at making things happen.

Orania was the middle triplet, though by far the tallest. It seems she had taken after her ba'buir for height, being a fair shade over two meters, though she lacked the bulk that had made him seem so solid. She was more like a shoot of the bamboo that grew in patches on the island, or one of the palms. Yielding to every breeze, but always returning to her center.
The Rakata were excellent swimmers, it came from developing on a water that was all but completely submerged. Orania had been out for a nice swim in the deeper waters when she heard splashing closer to the shore. Admittedly, other swimmers were far from uncommon. This was one of the less popular beaches, as it was near the northern tip of the crescent shaped island, far from city. She swam a little closer & rolled over so that one eye stalk poked up out of the water. She was slightly surprised to see, well ba'buir wasn't really the right term, but it was both close enough & respectful. Along with her young aunt.
Deciding to introduce herself in a somewhat less formal setting than their first meeting. That was one drawback to growing up mostly in Requiem & then traveling in disguise. It did give a slightly more stable grounding than being raised in a palace though. Despite the fact she was wearing little enough to scandalize the majority of the core worlds, Orania swam the rest of the way up onto the beach, making her way first to the reclining adult.
-Orania Oya Ba'Buir.

Jade's eyes popped open and she sat up as the tall Rakata swayed towards her in a state of undress that caused no further reaction than a slightly arched eyebrow. The Ordinii family had been losing its power to surprise her, or rather, by now she was so used to the unusual that it seemed normal. Given the tropical nature of Lehon and the warm sea breeze, Jade herself was not in anything that resembled her old uniform. In fact, she was wearing billowing trousers of a shimmering turquoise that only escaped transparency due to a positively opulent amount of fabric and were confined by narrow cuffs at the ankles. Her shirt was sleeveless, and because of sun, of a light sandy color, also given that it was cut short it revealed a nice collection of the scars she'd acquired over the decades.
"Su'cuy, Orania," she replied after a second's thought, then inquired further, "Enjoying the water?" although she figured the answer was fairly obvious. "I think perhaps Zaryna is part fish, though I do not know where she comes by it."

Orania smiled, showing a quick flash of a large collection of triangular teeth. Hanging from her belt were a few of the local fish. Other than a knife harness, the belt was the only thing she was wearing.
-Orania Just catching a little. I have enough for lunch if y'all would care to join me.
She turns back out to watch the younger girl playing in the surf. It was enjoyable to watch.
-Orania Spend enough time around here & it gets into your bones.
She pauses again for a few moments, letting the sun warm her blood after the swim.
-Orania I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to meet before the formal announcement. Mother has strong views about us being raised far enough from the politics here on Lehon to get a proper grounding in life. At least before we get thrown to the sharks.
The last was said with another fleeting smile that showed she understood why it had been done.

While there were no visible indications of it, Jade suspected that the Rakatan had surfaced upon noticing Zaryna out for a run though she was unfailingly polite to the older woman. "The offer is appreciated, but I am not in need of lunch. Besides, I've been meaning to find Non-Com. He's got something that belongs to me." She smiled, "Zaryna'd probably jump at the chance though," she hadn't said much, but there was a certain reserve between the two of them, and the girl would probably like talking to another Ordinii. Zaryna wanted to know everything about the father she'd never met, but Ael Jade had never been a woman who found it easy to talk about the things that were deeply important to her personally. She would get there eventually, but between that and the Jedi Academy on Corellia and politics she was trying to figure out how to relate to a very young woman who was an adult, but still seemed to her to be very young.
That didn't keep her from grinning at the mental image of Aya as a protective mother hen type. It was too incongruous. "Aya? Well, your mother is right. It's what anyone would do. I think perhaps Zaryna might have been frustrated by me in that regard as well. And there will always be sharks."
Zaryna had of course noticed Orania's arrival. As Jade got to her feet gracefully and seemed to be leaving, she jogged up towards them from the beach, hair a wreck as usual, but green eyes sparkling from the exercise of a morning run.

Orania smiled, once again showing a bank of wedge shaped teeth. She gestured at the long knife at her hip, it was more like a heavy spike than a knife, but it had sharpened edges. It was something obviously designed to be more use in water, though still functional out of the water as well.
-Orania Both literally & otherwise in these parts.
Despite the beauty, Lehon was a world of predators that feasted to predators. Other than the gizka, creatures that would eat nearly anything, pretty much every species on the planet ate other creatures. It was in many ways like the galaxy at large, everything was looking to eat you. Of course, it did have the nice side effect of meaning that most of the plants were perfectly safe.
-Orania I don't believe I have had the pleasure of being introduced to your daughter.
The last was said as she turned to face the bright eyed youth.

==Naval== <<110 PP; G11 Sector, Lehon, Middle Beach>>
The cadets stood in massed ranks. Today's ceremony was the graduation class for the New Etti Socii System, and the graduates stood in their perfectly crisp purple & black uniforms. Each Socii System had their own uniforms, though the ranks, rank insignia, & training courses had long since been standardized by the Imperium. This was to minimize any confusion when multiple units from technically separate navies worked together. Something that was actually fairly common.
This was the first time that Cadet (P1) Albastar, had been able to visit the capital world of the Imperium. His class had just under a thousand members standing in perfect formation on the parade field. That was a fairly standard size for his world, though he know other worlds could boast a higher quarterly class graduation. Still he was proud. He had worked hard over the last five years to prove himself worthy of wearing the purple & black uniform. Today, he would no longer be a lowly cadet trying to earn his way. Today, he & all his remaining class mates would be full members of the military might of the Imperium.
It was much warmer on Lehon than on the colony world of New Etti. There, snow was common year round. He doubted it ever snowed here, based on how much he was sweating into his undertunic. Thankfully, the speeches had just finished. The first rank of new military officers passed before the stage. Each one being handed a small jeweler's box & exchanging a salute with the officer that had just sworn them into service. As his turn finally arrived, he took the small box & exchanged his own salute. As of now, he was officially Marine (P2) Wulfric Albastar.

Beneath the surface of the waves that rolled into the sandy coast of the city, an aquatic bio-engineered creation treaded water, moving as close to the beach as was possible without fulling emerging from the water. Inside, intendant Jarulek Anor and a few members of Domain Yin were busy slipping into the rakata ooglith masquers Loraine Zun-Qin had mass produced for the infiltration team. The layer of second skin sealed itself over their naked corpse pallor flesh, transforming their physical appearance from that of Yuuzhan Vong to rakata primitives. They donned a few layers of poorly manufactured clothing over their disguises to complete the deception. The Executor stood up in front of the group, numbering five if he included himself.
"We've been preparing for this moment for weeks now. You all know your jobs, the type of intel we're expected to gather. Infiltrate, evaluate, and update the Praetorite. Find a private place before using your villip implants. They might not be visible, but you'll be incapacitated when they are in use. Alright, I've got nothing left to say to you all. Make Yun-Harla proud. For the Praetorite!"
The other four responded as one, shouting 'For the Praetorite', though each in their own head was thinking more about doing Domain Yin proud before anything else. The outer hatch sphincter unsealed and water filled the compartment. Once full, they exited the Vangaak through the opening and swam to the surface. Jarulek emerged first and scanned the beach. It was night at the moment so as expected the beach appeared vacant. One by one they emerged from the water and walked onto the beach, each heading towards a different destination.

After several weeks the intel gathering teams had infiltrating almost every part of rakatan day to day life. Jarulek went over reports on his qahsa device, impressed by the success of the other intendants. If they wanted to it would be a simple matter to take power, but that wasn't the purpose of this operation. Eventually they would make themselves known to the native populace. Before that happened, a few more T's needed to be crossed off the checklist. He sent his own report on to Praetorite high command back on Zonama Sekot, awaiting further orders.

==Victory Day== <<113 PP (123 ABY); G11 Sector, Lehon, Middle Beach>>
It was a special day. Each year, the Mandalorian Empire had a holiday celebrating their past victories, as well as the military forces that made it possible. In particular, focus was given to those that lost their lives, or were otherwise injured in the course of their service to the Empire. While the specifics of the celebration varied from one place to another in the Imperium, there were some features that were rather common. Parades, memorial displays, cook outs, concerts, and parties were all extremely common. One nearly universal event, however, was a firework display. Many places and individuals would compete to have the most impressive displays in a particular year. In this vein a specially loaded missile utility pod had been positioned over Middle Beach in the early afternoon of Victory Day.
While the otherwise normal pod had been loaded with standard E4 cluster shells, the contents of those shells were not the usual military devices. Instead, they had been specially loaded with a carefully designed and place collection of various fireworks. As night fell in the city below it, the pod was activated and within moments it was ready to release its munitions. The planned show had a time of just over four hours, the pod proceeded to empty out nearly six full tubes of fifty shells, launching three hundred shells every minute. Four and a half million individual fireworks going off per minute in a display that reached from horizon to horizon. Tonight, the sky over Middle Beach was filled with the glowing and bursting aurora of fire, all ending in a spectacular display precisely five minutes before midnight. All told, over a billion individual fireworks were set off during the display. For the last five minutes of Victory Day, however, silence reigned. A reminder of everyone that had been lost, and all the suffering the Empire had endured over the years. At precisely midnight, a single last firework streaked upward from the planet's surface, rising ever upward on a pillar of sparks until it was lost from sight.

The fireworks had not escaped the attention of those Yuuzhan Vong settlers clinging to the southern coast. A decision had been made, one that involved much arguing in tide swept caves under the light of lambent crystals, and without question one that Sarazen Yin did not agree with. The Yuuzhan Vong colonists would make official contact with the inhabitants of Middle Beach. This would be no attempt at infiltration and subversion as the now defunct Praetorite council had intended, but a true attempt at first contact and hopefully peaceful negotiation. If it went otherwise, well, the colonists only numbered about four hundred Yuuzhan Vong of mixed gender, ages, and caste. Hardly a fighting force. He'd just pray Yun-Harla's humours were merciful.As the duly elected leader of the colony, Sarazen Yin found himself in the belly of one of the few Vangaak water trawlers the small coastal settlement possessed. Only instead of being used to collect fish for hungry Yuuzhan Vong, it was being used to ferry the Intendant to the mainland. He pulled down a tall-yor, what the infidels referred to as a cognition hood, and allowed the membranous layer of flesh to encircle his head. Hooks of bone penetrated the flesh of his shoulders, painfully piercing in exquisite delight, forming a symbiotic connection with organic vehicle. Visual data from the creature's ocular sensors flooded the former Executor's mind. He ordered the Vangaak to breach the surface, emerging from the brine several kilometers from shore on a clear summers day. Manipulating the water trawlers reflexes, he set a slow cruising course towards the shores of Middle Beach, then detached himself from the tall-yor with a wet squelch.A moment later and a hatch-sphincter on the top of the Vangaak's carapace dilated, allowing Sarazen to climb out and stand atop the creature as it glided gently towards the beach. The Intendant cut a lean figure, clothed from the waist down in a layer of sea green membranous flesh that symbiotically adhered to his skin using tiny cilia that extended into his pores. A robeskin long-coat hung from his shoulders, ending in hooks of bone that jingled in the salty breeze coming off the ocean, catching and tearing at the back of his fleshy trousers. The coat hung open to expose the corpse-pallor complexion of his naked chest, presenting artful depictions of Yun-Yammka, the Slayer God. Remnants of his old life. Pointed knife shaped ears extended just past his bald scalp, the ridges baked a darker hue by the sun. He stared ahead with two eyes of cobalt blue, mqaaq'it ocular implants that every member of Domain Yin was fitted with, a customary escalation.A kilometer out from shore, Sarazen unfurled a white rectangular roll of robeskin, attaching it to a long pole of flexible fish bone. The Intendant began to wave the white flag as the Vangaak led him into shore.

==Vong of Lehon== +Nili Owlcrook+ <<113 PP (123 ABY); G11 Sector, Lehon, Middle Beach>>
The Vangaak was spotted well south of the shores of Middle Beach. Lehon was home to a great many large and violent creatures, so the defensive sensor networks were tuned as much to living creatures as they were to mechanical contraptions. It took a few minutes to identify the creature though, as it was not in any listing of local predators or other creatures. When it was finally identified, there was a large amount on confusion on the part of the staff. To their knowledge, While members of the Vong had visited Lehon in the past, some peacefully others less so. None had brought what was effectively farming equipment. Several weapon emplacements were trained on the creature, even if they could not be seen from where the creature was. Though it was mostly deemed harmless, it was heading nearly due north, in a direction that would take it straight into the Bay of Middle Beach.
Some over eager officer used its course to plot its likely path backwards, but there was little in that region but relatively isolated clusters of Rakata villages that had chosen to return to a more primitive lifestyle. When the creature was still a kilometer away from entering the bay, a humanoid form exited it and stood on the back of it. By this point, a pair of M01/a ATPTs had been prepped to herd the creature away if it tried to get too close. Within moments, the vehicles were cutting their way across the surface of the water, water jets kicking up impressive fantails of spray behind them. The Mandalorian Empire did not use Vong biotech in general, meaning that this was an outsider. And one that was far too close to the capital of the entire empire.
It was lucky that the figure had raised a white flag. It was not long after that he would see the spray of their approach, but the Empire was nothing if not efficient. Of course, even efficiency had limits, which is why the Empire trusted its officers to make judgement calls. Even while new orders where being issues back in command, the two craft reduced speed and shifted from a direct intercept course. The new course would keep one craft at a distance, while the other swung close into a parallel path.
Neither of the M01/a ATPTs had passengers that could take over at the moment, but the autopilot on them was perfectly capable of matching course and speed with another craft. The pilot of the nearest craft took advantage of this as he settled into position a few meters off the side of the Vong creature. While the craft did have side hatches, the mess caused by opening one at the moment would be a pain to clean up later. With that in mind, the officer popped the top hatch and within moments was standing on top of his slowly cruising craft. At this speed, the engine noise was nearly nonexistent, and the spray form the jets was more a rough patch of water.
-Nili (in rough but understandable Vong) <Hello there. Who are you? Why are you here? Do you speak Mando'a or Basic?>

Sarazen's cobalt blue mqaaq'it magnified his vision as he first spotted the two vehicles in the distance, quickly closing as they veered towards him on an obvious intercept course. He crouched down and banged a fist on the Vangaak's green scaly hide. The organic water-trawler slowed further until eventually it came to a stop. You could imagine his relief when they didn't immediately open fire at the sight of him. Such things had been known to happen before. He laid down the pole with the makeshift flag he had prepared on the trawlers back and propped a leg up on one of the Vangaak's thick scale plates with his knee bent, causing his vein-strewn long-coat to flap in the calm ocean breeze as he turned his head from one vehicle to the other, before locking eyes with Nili.
Dark purple sacs beneath the Intendant's glowing eyes puffed in surprise as he heard them speaking in the Yuuzhan Vong tongue. It wasn't perfect but he could more than make out what they were asking. He did indeed know Galactic Basic, a sad necessity from a life of wet work and espionage. When he spoke his accent was as salty as a Mon Calamari sailor, which happened to be where he was stationed during the events of the invasion some intentionally vague period of time in the past.
"Aye. I speak basic. My name is Sarazen, Sarazen of Domain Yin. My people live to the South of here in a coastal settlement we call Ne-Yorik'tar, or New Coral Town in your tongue. We came to this world, Lehon..." He knew its given name. "...several cycles ago. My people had hoped to colonize the planet and built an outpost concealed beneath the ocean depths, but an old hate followed my people here and the outpost was destroyed. Those of us that survived built a new life for ourselves in the settlement I spoke of. It has been...some time, since we have had contact with others of our kind." He pointed a finger up at a pair of gulls flying overhead. "We saw your sky-fire a few nights ago and realized we were not alone. Though I spoke against it, our council of castes voted in favour of making contact with your people."
He made no effort to conceal his own opinion. Distrust came naturally the Intendants of Domain Yin. Theirs was a world of shadows and lies.
"You know our language, you must know our history. War has often been the path of my people, but those of us that reside in Ne-Yorik'tar wish only to live in peace. I have come to not only make our presence known but to open lines of communication between our people, in the spirit of that."

==Vong of Lehon== +Nili Owlcrook+ <<113 PP (123 ABY); G11 Sector, Lehon, Middle Beach>>
Nili was relieved that the Vong spoke basic, he knew his own Vongese was all kinds of rusty and it hurt his throat to try and speak it. He was much less pleased to hear the story the Vong told. Somehow, this group managed to sneak past all the system defenses, through the orbital defenses, and set up a base on the surface of the planet without anyone even noticing. And then another group did the same to take out the first group. This was going to be way over his paygrade. Sending off a quick burst of information over his internal HUD, Nili thought hard about how to deal with the problem until someone higher up could step in. He was also solidly glad that all his cybernetics were modeled to blend in perfectly with his biological form.
-Nili I know our groups have been allies as many times as they have been enemies. Despite our differences. It is beyond my power to grant, but you will likely be allowed to live in peace here.
A message window popped up in his vision. And he pulled on the collar of his tunic a touch nervously.
-Nili If your .... craft will follow me, I will lead you to the port where you can talk with someone with more authority.
He didn't know if the planned meeting would be in the city, or in the massive flying citadel nearby. Either way, he only had to get the 'guest' to the dock and hand him off to someone else. Then all this would be their problem to deal with.

Allies as well as enemies? Sarazen's eye sacs puffed curiously. These infidels were full of surprises, but that they have had dealings with the Yuuzhan Vong before gave the Intendant hope that a peaceful agreement could be reached. Sarazen brought the spindly digits of his hand beneath his face and stroked his brow ridges for a moment, then nodded.
"Then as I believe the expression goes..." What passed for Sarazen's attempt as whimsy crossed his brine stained corpse-pallor features. "Take me to your leader. Heh. You lead and I shall follow you in."
Lowering to crouch, Sarazen rapped the calcified bone of his knuckles on the back of organic water trawler, signalling the creature to begin. Millions of microscopic tendrils dangling beneath the craft began to move with purpose, slowing propelling it through the water as he allowed Nili and her companion to guide him and the vangaak into shore.

==Vong of Lehon== +Nili Owlcrook, Zotu Vomdo+ <<113 PP (123 ABY); G11 Sector, Lehon, Middle Beach>>
Nili couldn't help but feel relieved as the Vong seemed reasonable. Ducking back down into his own ship, he set a course for the dock listed in his orders. It was one of the lesser used docks on the southern arc of the massive bay. Much of the city was near the center of the east facing crescent moon island, with the northern and southern thirds both being relatively pristine. However, the entire island was more like park land or a nature preserve than true wilderness, and secluded beaches and docks were scattered everywhere along the east side. The west side, opposite of the bay, was much steeper and more craggy, and while the views from that shore was impressive, the cliffs were often not suited to beaches or docks. As soon as the Vong creature was pulling in toward the indicated dock, Nili gratefully pulled back into an overwatch position with the other watercraft.
Waiting at the dock was a small delegation of Mandalorian Empire Officers. At the lead was Colonel Zotu Vomdo of the Diplomacy Office. He was a Rakata of greenish blue scale color. To an outsider, he would look like any military officer, only someone familiar with the yellow gate icon on his collar would be able to distinguish the two services of the Mandalorian Empire. In deference to their 'visitor' a reek rickshaw had been acquired to transport them to the small outbuilding nearby that would serve for the interview.

After he guided his vangaak into the dock, Sarazen climbed up through the hatch-sphincter near the centre of the organic water trawlers back, coming to stand atop its thick scaled hide as he took in his surroundings. His glowing cobalt blue mqaaq'it ocular implants came to rest on the uniquely hued rakatan, revealing no hint of surprise as he regarded the alien.
When the Intendant and the other Yuuzhan Vong that comprised his small community had first arrived on Lehon, they had all received the same briefing from the initial survey team, which included a short synopsis of what little their people knew about the rakata. Shaper Adept Loraine Zun-qin even produced a functional rakata ooglith masquer prototype, before...well, he needn't be reminded of the heretic shaper's villainous turn. If the Yun'o were kind every single one of her foul creations was now buried in a watery grave following the destruction of the underwater damutek.
Sarazen's sleeveless robeskin long-coat rattled as he stepped onto the dock, the tiny bone hooks curling inwards at its frayed edges as the garment swept the ground behind the sea green trousers he wore. Intricate whorls of dark inked tattoos depicting the coiling tentacles of a yammosk, often used as a place holder for slayer god Yun-Yammka, decorated the corpse pallor complexion of the Intendant's naked chest. Like most members of his domain, the Yuuzhan Vong cut a lithe figure, possessing a lean musculature that bordered on wiry. His lips pursed as he came to stand before the rakata diplomat, brine stained arms crossed over his chest, the corners of his lips curling in his best approximation of an infidel smile.
"I am Sarazen Yin, elected speaker for the settlers of Ne'Yorik'tar." Uncrossing his arms, he squeezed his hands into fists. "Once these hands served as the bloody instruments of the slayer-god, when I bore the rank of Executor, before the time of enlightenment when my people were reunited with Zonama Sekot. Now they are more suited to the bating of hooks and reeling of rods." He extended his right hand to Zotu Vomdo, offering it in friendly greeting. "I suspect by your presence..." There was no mistaking the Zotu's more ornate garb for anything other than an ambassador. "...that my escort already shared with you what was spoken at sea. We come in the same spirit of peace in which we have been living on the southern shores, unknowingly warmed by the same sun and provided for by the same bountiful oceans."

Zotu has been picked as he had previous experience with the Yuuzhan Vong. In fact, it was he that suggested the mode of transport. It would be interesting to see exactly how fanatical this particular group was. Would they appreciate the effort of securing a living beast on short notice, or would they be put off by the technological nature of the rickshaw itself with its hover unit. He was also familiar with the meaning behind the markings, symbols, scars, and tattoos the Yuuzhan Vong wore.
Reaching out, he gripped the offered hand. Rakata were stronger than most humanoids, and he let more of that strength show in his grip than he would with a human. The Yuuzhan Vong were also a strong people, and did not see pain as weakness.
-Zotu (in flawless Yuuzhan Vong) I welcome you to the island of Middle Beach. I admit, I was surprised to hear that one of The Children would be joining us here. Your journey here and how you have remained out of sight would be a story I would greatly like to hear. I have arraigned transport to a place nearby. There we will be able to talk privately at much more length than standing here in the open.

Sarazen wore the worst of his scars on the inside. Born during the great passage when his people crossed the starless sea between galaxies, he had been bred for the war that followed and had bore witness to some of the worst events of the invasion. At the end of the war when his people were reunited with the lost seed world of Zonama Sekot, what his people had taken to calling the time of enlightenment, everything had changed. Reconnecting with the Tampasi had created in the Yuuzhan Vong a new awareness of their actions. With Shimra's lies exposed and the justification for the invasion ultimately flawed, their people entered into an era of shame, with many Yuuzhan Vong such as Sarazen's domain mate Nem seeking penance for their actions. However, ten thousand years of culture and religious dogma were difficult to overcome, especially in a single generation.
Fortunately most of the settlers under Sarazen's care had been born in the time after, with many not even knowing the deprivations of war or the worst expressions of religious zealotry. These were a far more open minded Yuuzhan Vong. For religious reasons they still shunned the use of mechanical technology among their own people, but neither were they compelled to persecute the infidel races for making use of it. Besides, during the war the Intendant had been forced to bend the tenants of religious doctrine to suit his missions. The cracks in the foundation of their faith had been there from the start. Point being, he had no qualms over riding in the rickshaw, repulsor sled or not.
He returned the rakatan's firm squeeze, not surprised by the others strength as he felt the muscles in his arm tense. The few rakata his people had encountered so far had been among the island tribals that enjoyed a more rustic way of life, surviving off the land just as the settlers of Ne-Yorik'tar were. What did surprise him, which came next, was evident by the way the brow ridges above his glowing blue eyes rose in response to hearing Zotu's expert execution of his peoples language. Yuuzhan Vong was a harsh language, not easily grasped, which raised his opinion of the diplomat further.
Absent pupils flicked from Zotu to the rickshaw, then back again. "Of course." The dark purple eye sacs beneath his mqaaq'it puffed. "It is a story I am more than happy to share." Though in truth, it felt more like he was being skirted away for interrogation, taken out of the public eye to some clandestine location. Well, that's how he would have done it, with possibly an Embrace of Pain involved. He just hoped for his peoples sake that he'd be able to negotiate in good faith on their behalf, not that he would be upset with a bit of light torture. He was a Yuuzhan Vong after all; that's how they got their jollies off. "Please, lead on." Taking a seat aboard the rickshaw opposite the rakatan ambassador.

==Vong of Lehon== +Zotu Vomdo+ <<113 PP (123 ABY); G11 Sector, Lehon, Middle Beach>>
Zotu relaxed conciderably when Sarazen accepted the offered ride without open complaint or even expressed disgust. Most of the Yuuzhan Vong he had dealt with before had been firmly set in the old ways, though he had heard from colleges in more recent interactions that the mindset was changing among some groups. The trip to the planned site didn't take long. While the building was not nearly as open as the dock had been, it was still far from secluded. In fact, it was less than a hard stone's throw from a fairly popular walking path that led past. The building also completely lacked a door of any type, and the limited furniture inside was all of a rugged outdoor style and made from stone. Combined with window arches designed to encourage a cross breeze, it was more of a nice artificial cave that what most people thought of when the word building was used. The only real nod toward security was the pair of military officers stationed outside to make sure no-one attempted to wander in and use the building for a picnic.
Inside the building, only Zotu and a single aide remained. Though their internal connection to the clan's holonet meant everything done was recorded and observed by their superiors. Or at least could be. Checking the icons, Zotu saw that no-one was accessing his feed live back at headquarters. As it seemed the most courteous option, Zotu continued to use the visitor's language.
-Zotu Now, we can at least sit while we talk. I'm afraid refreshments are a touch limited. I believe there is a well outside for water, and these sites usually have fruit trees planted around them, though I'm not sure if they are in season or not. Given that you contacted us, I would assume that you either have something you wish to discus, or are bearing a message. We should probably start with that.
