The west hallway of the East Building contains many residential rooms for Jedi Shadows to live in during their time not on missions.
By going down the western hallway, one can get to the General Store, located in the northwestern room of the East Building. There are two other hallways that branch from the west hallway:
The Northwest Hallway leads past the East Medbay and the East Security and Hangar Traffic Tower, to the East Building Hangar.
The Grand Hallway is an enclosed hallway with glass ceilings and walls that connect the East Building to the West Building.
On the opposite side of the hallway from the Grand Hallway entrance, a pair of decorative double doors leads out into the big, beautiful octagonal-shaped Courtyard in the center of the Enclave's East Building.

Once inside her room after saying goodnight to her twin, Kaiya frowns as she unwinds her hooded scarf and sets it on her desk, wondering if waiting until the morning to speak to Master Kei'takao was the right decision after all. Sitting on the edge of her bed to pull her boots off, Kaiya tells herself that she is worrying too much; It is not like the Weequay would be able to quell Ellie's concerns, and some rest might help her twin to better cope with what she is dealing with. The rationalization calms her enough to still the restless feeling the events during and after the sparring session had left her with, and the relaxing hot bath Kaiya indulges in before trying to sleep calms her even more so that, when she does go to bed, sleep comes swiftly and deeply.

*Sleep did not come as easily for Ellie as it did her twin. She laid there on her bed staring at the ceiling, her mind abuzz with thought. The leather and cloth bound lightsaber was resting lightly in her hand, her thumb rubbed the worn hilt as if trying to draw out the answers to her problems. After staring at the ceiling for several hours, Ellie eventually fell into an uneasy sleep.*

Dressing after waking - earlier than usual due to the mild apprehension she feels about the meeting with her Master regarding her and her twin's after action reports - in the morning, Kaiya had gone to the cafeteria to grab something to bring back to her room to eat before the scheduled meeting, the food doing little to still or dispel her unease. Meditating after breaking her fast had helped somewhat, but Kaiya still feels anxious as she heads from her room to go and get her twin so that they can meet Master Kei'takao together.
Knocking on Ellie's door, Kaiya calls out to her, "Come on vod, time to meet with Master Kei'takao," and then steps back, tapping her foot restlessly as she waits for her twin, hoping that she is up and hasn't forgotten about meeting with the Weequay to make their after action reports.

*Ellie stared at herself in the mirror. She was wearing a set of tradtional brown robes, as opposed to her normal garb. Her hair was pulled up into a ponytail, several strands had already freed themselves and were threatening to get into her eyes. Physically she looked fine, other then some healing cuts and bruises, but mentally, she was still tired. The sound of her sister knocking on the door brought her back to reality. Attaching her lightsaber to her belt, she opened the door and stepped outside.*
"Ready vod." *She breathed in deep before letting it out slowly.* "Let's go."

Nodding with what she hopes is a reassuring smile, Kaiya, as they start making their way down the hall, lets her twin know where Master Kei'takao will be meeting them, having talked to him earlier to clarify that point.
The Weequay Master is waiting for them in a small alcove set off the main hallway, one of many such locations designed for group or individual study or simple reflection. The Weeqay sits on a window sill, looking out onto the courtyard below. His demeanor customarily intent yet warm as he turns when hearing the twins approach, the lines of Brijesh's wrinkled and seamed face deepen as he smiles and gestures towards a small circular table surrounded by four chairs, inviting them to, "Have a seat, and then joins them after they have settled in their chairs. Well then, the Weequay says, let us begin. As Ellie will be reporting on the events that followed their separation on Ryloth since Kaiya was rendered unconscious and then taken captive, Brijesh directs his steady, calm gaze towards her first, saying, I will hear your report first Ellie. Begin with your account of the events that took place after we were all separated, please, and help me to understand why it is that you did not first attempt to re-establish contact with me, or the enclave here, when you became aware that your sister had been taken captive, and why it is that you did not try and do so at any time during your pursuit of her captors."

*Ellie took a deep breath before slowly letting it out. She was starting to get tired of retelling the same story over and over again.* "After we got separated, I ended up with a group of soldiers under the order of Senator Crom'nen. He sent them out to look for survivors of the attack and fight any threat that they came across. Most of the communications had been knocked out, except for military comlinks. I was in no condition to go off on my own, and I was unable to search for anyone in the force because...it felt like my connection to it had been severed. I could barely pick up on Kaiya's force signature when we were almost on top of her." *She paused for a moment, gathering her thoughts.* "We came across a group of Sith. They were gathering force users and loading them onto a freighter. Kaiya was with them. I fought their leader, and lost. He caught my lightsaber in half and almost killed me. Luckily he had other things on his mind. After that..." *Ellie wasn't sure what words she should use. 'Lost control', maybe. 'Gave in to her anger.' They all sounded right, but she wasn't sure about saying it out loud.* "I found a ship, the one in the hangar, and tried to get off world. That plan..didn't work very well either. I had barely made it off the ground before I was intercepted by Mandalorian fighters. They damaged the ship pretty badly, enough to make it lose power in orbit. Luckily the ships distress signal was picked up be a group of mercenaries, they rescued me and fixed the ship. I told them what happened and they agreed to help me get Kaiya back. We tracked the Sith to Felucia where the mercenaries laid siege to the Sith base. I was with them fighting. The Sith retreated, their leader with them, but we got the hostages back, and Kaiya. She was in some kind of coma, I wasn't sure what to do. I don't know why, but my gut told me to take her to Bimmisaari. So I did. There I met a force user, a Twi'lek. She was strong in the force, strong enough to wake Kaiya. That's it, that's what happened." *She closed her eyes for a moment. When she opened them, she spoke.* "I know I should have contacted the temple, or someone. But...something kept holding me back, or wouldn't let me, I can't explain it. It's just...I felt like I couldn't do it."

Master Kei'takao steeples his fingers together, resting his wrinkled chin atop them as he listens intently to Ellie give her account of what had happened after they had all been separated on Ryloth, his deep-set, dark eyes watching hers to see if he can read anything them. The few pauses in Ellie's recounting suggest to Brijesh that she is choosing her words carefully, which could be as innocent as wanting to be precise or searching for the right turn of phrase, but it could also be a matter of editing her narrative to leave out aspects she does not wish to share with him. Nodding after Ellie has finished speaking, the Weequay turns to Kaiya and asks, "And your account?"
Frowning as she opens her hands on the table in front of her, Kaiya says, "I can't remember anything after being knocked out on Ryloth Master, not yet anyway. The first thing that I remember after that is when the Twi'lek Ellie spoke of brought me out of the . . . coma. I . . . I remember a dream, or a vision maybe, where the Twi'lek seemed to be in my head with me, kind of, and she took the darkness that was trying to get to me into her somehow, or at least that's what it seemed like. I think I was in the coma to keep from being overtaken by that darkness, as though it was my mind's way of protecting me? Shaking her head, Kaiya says, I can't really explain it, but the Twi'lek was able to wake me from the coma, like Ellie said. And then we came back here. I know we could have commed at some point, but, she shrugs with a frown, we were both so exhausted and anxious to get back that I guess we didn't think of doing so. I'm sorry we worried you longer than necessary Master."
Reaching out and patting Kaiya's hand, Brijesh tells her, "I cannot fault you for not doing so after all you'd been through. Looking at Ellie, he says, Nor can I fault you for not comming earlier. I'm sure your concern for your sister drove you to pursue her captors with a singular focus that made overlooking the possibility of contacting me or the enclave for help an understandable oversight. Continuing to meet Ellie's gaze, Brijesh says, But I also can not help but feel that you have not told me all that happened, all that you felt and were challenged with. Is there anything else you feel I should know Ellie?"

*Ellie was glad that Master Kei'takao wasn't upset with her. But when he questioned whether she had told him everything, she paused. She bit her lower lip nervously before speaking." "I....yes. When I was fighting the Sith I....gave into my anger, I lost control and almost completely went over the line. Then it almost happened again, here. We were sparring yesterday, and I almost gave in. It was so hard to fight it this time." *She paused for a moment. Not entirely sure how to describe what she felt when she has slipping into the dark side.* "I..heard his voice. The Sith I fought on Felucia. He was trying to call to me, trying to get in my head. I don't know how, but it felt like he was there with me."

Brijesh leans back in his chair after nodding, his leathery, wrinkled face giving little hint as to his thoughts while his body language radiates only a sense of calm despite what Ellie has said. After a moment, the Weequay leans back forward, resting his clasped hands on the table in front of him as he meets Ellie's eyes and says, "If I am understanding you correctly, you are, even now as we speak, facing your Trial of Spirit. You should be respectful of that fact, and remember your training - fear, while understandable when faced with the Darkness that resides within oneself and striving to overcome it, will not help you master the Darkness Ellie. I sense much fear in you now I fear. You must master your fear before you can hope to overcome the Darkness you are facing; if you cannot do so, you risk falling prey to it before ever truly challenging it. I can help you, the Weequay says gently, reaching out to rest a hand on Ellie's shoulder, and I will do so if you would have my help in your Master's place; but know that the ultimate battle is yours to fight alone as all Jedi must fight it, and to win or lose. Accepting that your Trial of Spirit has begun, recognizing that fact, is the first step along the path to successfully navigating it through to its end. Overcoming your fears about failing to overcome the Darkness within you will be crucial to your success, and we can begin working on that when you are ready. You will need to meditate on your Trial, your desire to pass it, and on your fears so that you can master them."

*Ellie knew that he was right. Giving into her fears would mean giving into the darkside. It also meant that she not only failed her trial, but also herself and her sister. Letting out a low sigh, she looked Master Kei'takao.* "Thank you. I never thought about it that way, with everything that's happened the past few days." *She paused for a moment.* "How do I even begin?"

Brijesh frowns in thought, silent a moment before saying, "In essence, you have already begun; what you need to do now is pass the trial you have been facing since your encounter with the Sith that you feel has gotten into your head. Lifting a wrinkled hand, palm upward, the Weequay says, Gaining an understanding of and then control over your anger will be your first tasks; you must not only remember at all times, but also embrace the ideal of the Jedi philosophy of fighting without anger, and to do that you must understand why your anger has begun to rise when in conflict. It is natural to feel such emotion during the heat of conflict, yes, but remember your training: you need to free yourself from it or you court permitting the Dark Side to gain a stronger hold over you. You have heard this before, have heard it ever since beginning your earliest of training as a learner; now you see why, and now you must take what you have learned and accept it to make it a part of who you are, not merely recite it or contemplate it in the abstract. The Dark Side is like a drug, having drawn on it and felt the strength it can afford you, you will always feel it's pull - but remember, it is the easy path, the one that seems to lead where you wish to go but in reality ends with your a slave to it."
Pausing a few moments to let all that he has said sink in, or at least begin to do so, Brijesh continues, "For the time being, I would suggest that you refrain from practicing any of your combat skills. Focus your training on physical conditioning and mastering your emotions for now. Meditate on what gives rise to your anger, on learning from what it stems so that you can begin to master it rather than allowing it to drive you. Reflect on why it is that you have chosen to be trained as a Jedi; on why we fight when we must, and on why we must answer the call to arms when it comes with a mind free from anger. When you feel you are ready, we will slowly and carefully begin to test your control by reintroducing lightsaber and unarmed combat training to your routine."

*Ellie listened to every word the Jedi Master told her. He was right, of course he was right, she told herself. She let out a slow breath of air that she just now realized that she'd been holding in and gave a nod.* "Okay. I'll start from the bottom and work up. I'll give myself a few days before trying anything that might push me back again. Also.." *She took her lightsaber off her belt. As she did she could almost feel the hunger calling out from it, the quest for combat it desired greatly. Shrugging of the feeling, she handed the blade to her twin.* "Here. You keep a hold of this. When I'm ready, and only when I'm ready, then you'll give it back to me. Alright Vod?"

Brijesh nods as Kaiya reaches out to take Ellie's lightsaber, "Good. Standing, the Weequay frowns as he says, I'll make my report now, informing the Masters of what we've spoken of and recommending that, for now, I shall offer you my guidance. I will be recommending that you be placed with a Master of your own as soon as possible, he looks at Ellie questioningly, unless you would prefer to have some time to yourself before beginning instruction under another Master?"
Kaiya, placing Ellie's lightsaber on her belt beside her own, looks from Brijesh to Ellie to see how she will answer the question that has been posed of her before speaking.

*Ellie gave a small nod when Brijesh said he was going to inform the council. This thought made her a little nervous, but the feeling was quickly swept away when he mentioned a new Mast ed r.* "I....think I should continue my studie rather than put them off for a while. I'll need someone to teach. So no, I don't want any time off."

Nodding, clearly pleased with Ellie's answer even though it is only his tone and not his expression that reveals his feelings, Brijesh says, "I too think that is for the best. I will do what I can to ensure that there is not a great deal of time between now and when you are placed with a Master. If you have given the matter any thought, or have an idea of who you might want to be placed with before you hear from the headmasters regarding the matter, I trust that you will let me or the headmasters know. Looking from Ellie to Kaiya, the Weequay bows in farewell, saying, I will find you both later to share with you what the headmasters have to say. May the Force be with you."
Slouching down in her chair, her relief that the meeting deciding their fates has ended, Kaiya says, "I'm glad that's over, and then smiles as she tells Ellie, I'm proud of you vod, you were brave and true. Her expression more concerned, Kaiya asks, How are you feeling?"

*Ellie gives a nod as Brijesh takes his leave. She let out a slow long sigh once he's out of sight. Her attention turned to her sister when she is complimented.* "Thanks vod. I didn't feel very brave honestly." *When her twin asked how she felt, she bit her lower lip some.* "Sick. My stomach keeps turning. But I guess that's from being nervous, especially since I didn't think it was going to go over this well." *She slowly stood up and offered a hand to her twin.* "Come on vod. Lets get out of here. There's a hundred places I'd rather be other than here."

Frowning worriedly when Ellie says that she feels almost ill after the meeting with Brijesh, concerned that her twin had been so worried and still seems restless, Kaiya nods and reaches out to take the hand offered to pull her up. Once standing, Kaiya tries to sound cheerful despite her own lingering concern for her sister as she asks, "Where to vod? Do you want to grab something to eat, maybe that would settle your stomach? With a lop-sided grin, she asks, Or was that not one of the hundred places you'd rather be?"

Laughing, relieved that her twin has not lost her ability to find some humor in things, Kaiya crinkles her nose as she jokes, "Good, 'cause I'm actually kind of hungry myself," and then puts an arm around her sister's shoulders to give her a quick hug as they begin making their way through the enclave's corridors towards the Green Moon Cafe.
