An FO military transport arrived at the space port. Various military officers and men disembarked, starting their stint of shore leave after a tour of duty at Bilbringi. Among them was Pilot 1st Lt. Virgil Faust.
Faust stepped off the landing platform to a waiting sky taxi. He watched the streams of flying traffic through his window as they flew from the more affluent area around the starport and city center, towards the suburbs, and lower-rent housing. It was so... different to be able to see the sky, weather, the approaching sunset... Rather than the cold unchanging black of deepspace.
The taxi pulled up to a building landing pad. As Faust tipped the driver, he could see the glimmer of the far-distant dazzle of the city center, lights bright enough to see during the day...
This was a homecoming of sorts, but after 18 months in space, but it still doesn't feel real sometimes. Faust took the elevator- down. He couldn't afford the apartments at the top of the building. Besides, he was used to having no view.
Faust opened the door to his apartment and immediately checked on his pet fishes. He tapped on the glass an waited. Nothing. He sighed. Unfortunately the automatic feeder system probably malfunctioned while he was gone, and the fish starved or ate each other... again.
Faust changed out of his Imperial uniform and put it in his closet. He donned his civies, plain pants, shirt, with a leather jacket, and headed out the door.
One thought in his head- He had to check on his baby.

Faust headed to his storage garage below the building.
Among the other garages for other apartment tenants, Faust's garage door slowly lifted to reveal Faust's baby, his bonny lass, his pride and joy: A cherry red vintage A-wing.
Faust had managed to procure it, and resto-mod the ship into a true work of art. It made him tremble and quake, it made him weak in the knees. It possibly made him slightly moist. He could have just sitting looking at it all evening and been satisfied. He pulled out the folding chair he kept there for that purpose and took a seat. Its elegant lines, the compact simplicity of its layout...
He changed his mind. He couldn't be satisfied with just looking at her.
Faust rolled the flight ladder over and popped the canopy. He carefully dropped himself down in the cockpit. The vintage nerf-leather: it smelled like rebel-struggle. Don't get him wrong, he was glad the Empire weathered the storm, but one has to admit in their heart of hearts that the archotypical struggle of the underdog, was a compelling and sympathetic story. That had nothing to do with his love for this fighter, but-
Perhaps it did flavor his love. Knowing that the A wing was just a man and machine against the galaxy- it represented every tale he eagerly consumed as a youngster. Like a Knight riding his steed into battle.
Faust checked the fuel. It was low. He was going to have to get more. Tomorrow.
Tomorrow? too low? HA! One spin around the block wouldn't hurt...
Faust went through his pre-flight checklist, and ran diagnostics. Looks like everything was still working. You had to be careful with fuel sitting for too long in a fight's tank.
He started the ignition sequence and the fighter systems hummed to life. The ship shuddered and vibrated as the engines caught. The vibrations ceased as the ship lifted off the ground.
Faust closed the garage behind him; just one flight, just to remind him how it felt. Just around the block...

Faust took the A-wing around the block and brought it back. His fuel was low. Dangerously low. And it would have been too easy to get lost in the experience and metaphorically ride that thing until it gave out and doomed him. Besides, Faust wasn't entirely sure whether the ship was legal, or whether it might be considered contraband.
After landing, Faust knew he had to indulge his second great love.
He took an air taxi to the Outlander club. Oh, Luck be a Lady tonight! He sang to himself.

Two escape pods would fall from the sky. Chaser and Yung steered the pods towards more industrial areas with fissures running deep into the lower levels of the city. Their plan was to land the escape pods on these lower levels and disappear into the many levels of the planet wide city.
Oblivious to the things going on in orbit, the galactic city would continue as it always had.
First Order forces would provide local law enforcement on Coruscant with images and descriptions of Chaser and Yung, as well as as the charges of suspected terrorism.

Chaser steered his pod down one of the deep access fissures that allowed ships to access the layers and layers of infrastructure and industry in the city. He was looking for a suitable place to ditch the man sized escape pod. He knew Yung would be following closely behind. The glowing yellow lights wizzed past as he decended lower and lower. Rumor had it that there were more than 5000 levels to this planet-wide city...
In a bag at his feet was 25 kg of Kyber crystal ore. Only a fraction of the 50 tons he and Yung had escaped with from Ilum. He hoped he and Yung would still be able to sell some of it and make enough to get back to Nar Shadaa to rendezvous with the others... if they survived.

The medical center nearest to the Thrawn Lounge was ready to receive the injured trooper, who was escorted by an Inquisitor brother and Death Trooper H-3.

Harper, being still a bit confused and baffled by the incident at Thrawn lounge previous day, decided he would visit the trooper. In all honesty, he just wanted to ask him what the hell was that whole thing about. Harper had always been curious by nature, as well as always bad at figuring what to do with his planetside leaves, so lacking anything better to do, he made his way to said health centre and asked for the trooper by his name. After being shown to correct door, he politely waited outside and pressed the button at it to let the trooper as well as the medical staff know that the patient had a visitor.

*The Doctor strolled casually in the cityscape. His sadistic thoughts flowed specifically through his twisted mind. Comm. buzzing he stopped and flipped it open and listened. Nodding several times browse creased* -The Doctor- "Of course I can dear. Yes." *Chin rising he asked* -The Doctor - "And how is your grampa?" *Eyes widening* -The Doctor- "Oh dear. That's terrible. Yes. Yes. Of course." * The link was lost but apparently an old, Old associate was not. Well he was. I made a funny. But his granddaughter lives, who is far more pleasurable to look at. Well. At A small spaceport Kannu entered his preset ID and boarded a small hyperactive equipped vessel with Di Fastski. The captain tired that sucker up, lifted off and rose up carefully into the outrageous traffic that plagued the city. The urban jungle that was Coruscant, was nothing quite like it

Tearing into the end above Galactic City Gid guided the Firespray-31-class interceptor into the outrageous amount of traffic that the planet city hosted every day. Their was an odd peace in the overwhelming numbers. so Gid thought. Numbers you could and did indeed become easily lost among. And in that anonymity oft one could find themselves. So through the busy cityscape they flew

Like a bullet the Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft Hand Maid Tail tore a strip across Galactic City. Dodging through the maze of traffic that plagued the skies over the city the ship passed into the cloud and passed beyond

The Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft, The Hand Maid Tail tore carefully through the horrifying mess that is the air over Galactic City. And the woman typed furiously the keyboard on the dash of the ship -Gid- "Ok.... I want a order put into the LCBC...." The ship -Hand Maid Tail Audio System- ::Please Procceeed:: Smiling the red Twi'leck continued -Gid- "I want: 750ml bottles as follows Jameson Irish Whiskey x 50, Smirinoff Vodka x 10, Beefeater London Dry Gin x 10, Roca Patron Reposado, tequila x 10, Wild Turkey Bourbon x 10, Jack Daniels Black Label x 10." Taking a deep breath she tend glanced to the droid and continued " And a 100 mikies, excuse me: 100 375 ml bottles of the cheapest whiskey they have.... " Taking a deep breath the ship asked -Hand Maid Tail Audio system- ::Is your order complete?:: The woman chuckled -Gid- "Hell no." Breathing deep she'd exhaled -Gid- "10 x 24 Guinness Stout, 5 x 24 London Porter.... Add5 x 12 of those Palpatine Porter. And 10 x 25 Export Ale." The computer system buzzed processing -Gid- "And Bill it to The First Order! They could care less." The ship landed in front of the appropriate LCBC. The hatch flew open and give strapping young men loaded the ship. With Gid standing by the gentlemen waded into the lifting and the courtesy was pretty thick indeed. All said and done, the Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft lifted off and disappeared into the traffic cops nightmare that was Galactic City traffic. Riding the constant stream up into the clouds, both natural and those made of the pollution which plagued the city planet, The Hand Maid Tail eventually reaching the end of the line made the jump to hyperspace

Cutting through the air like a hot knife through butter on their brand stinking new used XJ-6 speeder, which they just scoffed off some fat dude, the Togruta twins were quite unanimously thrilled. They truly loved vehicular theft. Didn't literally wound anybody and they did it so well. Aranrhod asked knowingly -Aranrhod- "Ko dek s'mahr?" Rhiannon turned to her sister with a baffled look on her face. And she answered saying -Rhiannon- "Where else? Jimmy the Hutt's chop shop." Rhiannon had always told herself that the life of crime they were unfairly pushed into would one day pay off. One day. Had to wonder. Maybe one day was today? Aranrhod, plus the ship and Rhiannon, took a sudden nosedive. Underworld - here we come!!!

Tearing out of 500 Republica a Wayfarer c[pass medium freighter shot up into the sky.Onboard the two Togruta girls both sat, with Rhiannon at the helm -Rhiannon- "Ok you know what you're - right?" In a voice all pleasant and sweet her sister said -Aranrhod- " To be sure! I'm foolishly going to go attack some hideous beast and get killed doing it!" Near soiling herself in fear too,her sister spoke in reply trying to sound encouraging -Rhiannon- "That's the spirit!" And they disappeared

Missionary of the Obsidian Order
Thanks to the work the Obsidian Order had done in the Underworld, a great wealth of information and detail was gathered about those within Galactic City whom they were going to try recruit. Spaces were purchased across the City, with small outposts of the Order appearing and opening their doors. Coruscant was the Imperial Capital, the upper echelons of Imperial power resided here, and with them, their skewed views of the Ren. Thus the Order had to act cautiously as they opened their doors and preached their messages of hope. Here, they would cultivate allies necessary for their ongoing work

—Just outside of the Imperial District, Lucius had opted to gain a place of his own to stay when his fleet came to dock and his crew allowed a moment of rest. He had found a fairly nice penthouse that overlooked the Galactic City as well as giving him a solid view of the District. Standing on the balcony for a moment, he took a sip of his whiskey before heading back inside.
Others were gathered with him, three men that served as part of his council within the fleet. First was Jayne Viades, the head of the ground forces, Alastair Voz, his second-in-command, and finally the newest addition was the lead of the Starfighter corp, Patrik Grimm.
Raising a glass, he made a toast to their new lives within the First Order. It was the last day before it was back to the fleet. The shipyards finished up with repairs and mapping out the details of each of his vessels. As much as he enjoyed his time upon the world, he was ready to get back to work.—

Missionary of the Obsidian Order
It would have been only a fool to believe the Obsidian Order's success upon Coruscant would be grand. Being the Imperial Capital, with the Imperial Knights headquarters being located here, meant that Ren sentiment was not well received. It would have taken a great deal of effort to turn enough people. So Silas had focused the Order's efforts on much more achievable goals, building their small outposts and using the resources available to The Magisterium to build out the network of informants across the Imperial Capital.
With the growing network of support, Silas began reaching out to very specific individuals. Commanders within the Imperial Army and Navy whom sought a return of classic order and that did not favour any of Nicademus' current heirs. They feared the rise of a Force User to the throne like Palpatine once did. For them, the Force was merely a distraction and corruption which was the downfall of all good Empires. Something they would not allow to happen to the First Order

--Looking out from the balcony of his penthouse, Lucius silently gazed at the dark grey sky. Rain threatened to fall and engulf the city its its tears. Poetic for there was reason enough for the Empire to shed such themselves. Not a day or so prior, the Vice-Admiral had returned to the capital with a soldier of the Old Republic in tow. He had sought to inform the First Order of the development of such an old Venator appearing in their territory, allow the clone trooper to tell his story, and have a path chosen by High Command regarding the situation. Though he had received word that the Emperor was incapacitated for the time being, something he found strange to be alerted to, he ended up brushing it aside. He was new to the Empire and figured letting his people, if at least high ranking officers know, was something that was fairly common. Yet, upon his arrival to Coruscant, he was greeted with unfortunately news. The Emperor had passed.
The recall for his troops and officers had already been sent and he had ensured his own ships had returned after ensuring the clone trooper's ship had made it to a shipyard. Now they sat in orbit a bit away from the planet, keeping watch, though it was crewed by just enough to ensure full operation in case someone thought it foolish to attack. It was a sad time, but one's duty could not be pushed aside if they were needed.
Taking a deep breath, he turned and entered his abode, raising a glass to the three that made up his circle, the highest officers and leaders in his fleet.--
"To the Emperor. Though it was short lived, he was a leader I was proud to follow. May the Empire he built continue to thrive for generations to come."
--The others raised their glasses and they drank to whiskey that Lucius had. Turning his attention to the table before the sofa, he glanced at the datapads that rested there. He had begun looking into his children, Octavian and Fiora. They would be the faces of the Empire moving forward, especially Nicademus's son. But such reports and recorded information could say only so much. It was his hope that he would have a chance to speak to Octavian, seeking to take the measure of the soon to be Emperor. Would he be a man worth following like his father was or would he be found wanting and undeserving of the position. This was the answer he needed to know.--
