She considered how Viox had overcome the weak government on Iridonia, crippled its armies, and crushed most resistance within a single week of battle. He had taken the Academy in a single night - a place with many masters and students trained in the art of the dark side - sacked in a matter of hours. Even though she had been witness to the truth in the matter - the coup the loyal masters had made against the previous headmaster. The blademaster herself had entrusted this secret to Vasari when they had joined the forces just after they had made contact with him. The arrival of the blademaster would have turned the battle in the Academies favor, and yet with Vasari's help the Headmasters doom had been sealed and the betrayal complete. A single night was all that was needed. And to think... these people simple signed away their liberties, giving their lives over freely and hardly ever saw negative repercussions because of it - they simply lived their lives in the luxury their masters slavery provided for them - bought with their own blind obedience. Before she could wonder if that was the same thing she had done when she had joined the new Sith'ari she noticed Luxeria giggling at her. She simply closed her eyes and whispered back a reply - squeezing her friends fingers gently.
"Do not take my relaxed state as weakness... might prove to be your undoing once you get me back to the Hotel."
Her whispered voice carried equal parts threat and playfulness within it, and yet there was no outward sign of such threat - nor any perceived power to uphold it as she cuddled against Luxeria's side. Regardless she did not hesitate at Luxeria's suggestion and straightened herself enough to walk with her back to the Air taxi - though she never released her hand.

Luxeria continued to giggle as they turned and walked back, waving her hand to summon a taxi to stop. She paid no mind to the fact the Vasari was cuddling up to her, keeping her hand within hers. Instead, she kept her attention on the things that were spoken. It was playful and threat that was more of a small challenge, if anything. She certainty wasn't going to back down, no more than she was going to really take her seriously. It was all a fun little game, one that she was enjoying.
"Oh, really? Me listening to your snoring as you zonk out?" As the taxi landed she boarded, playfully trying to help Vasari in as if she couldn't stay awake or was drunk, working to play her game further.

As if playing into Luxeria's game Vasari let her knees buckle slightly as Luxeria 'helped' her into the taxi - taking the moment of loss of balance to fumble closer to her friend, her arm slipping around Luxeria's waist for balance as they sat down in the back seat of the speeder. She giggled and shook her head at what she had heard allowing her speech to slur slightly."I do not ... snore ... thank you."She muttered somewhat indignantly raising her head in a rather arrogant fashion attempting her best 'high class' voice before giggling a little more while the taxi was lifting into the air speeding back into the Curoscanti skyline."I was actually speaking of something far less benign... I am a very dangerous woman you know!"There was nothing in her voice that supported the claim - especially in the state she was attempting to play for the benefit of only the driver now. She leaned in closer to Luxeria and repeated in a not so silent whisper, her eyes lingering on Luxeria's."Very... Dangerous!"

Luxeria shook her head with a giggle at Vasari's little ploy. Trying to play the game as well, it seemed. And it was all in good fun. If they devoted their lives to training, conquest, and domination while forgetting to enjoy themselves, have a little fun, and be a little stupid, they'd destroy themselves before the end. Though it was different for Luxeria coming from this world and these types of pleasures, she had quickly caught on the proper balance needed to truly live a full and meaningful life.
As they got in the taxi and it finally took off, her giggle turning into a laugh, then playful scoff before turning to face Vasari. "And what do I look like? Chopped liver? Remember who you're talking to. You'll find the danger I can bring may be a bit overwhelming for you."

Vasari's eyes grew less narrowed a little more hazy as she processed Luxeria's loosely veiled threat in her reply. The smile that followed was a little less than playfully ignorant of the truth behind those words - and as she looked up into her friends eyes she began to trace slow circles on the back of Luxeria's hand - to subtle to be a part of the game."I do believe it is ... 'To whom you are talking' ... tsk tsk forgetting yourself, what would your instructors at Academy have to say?"Her voice was still a little slurred and loopy - she had never been completely intoxicated to the point she was attempting to play so she didn't exactly know if she was overdoing it or not, but she was enjoying herself none the less."And as for that bit... I grew up on Iridonia, home-world of the most fearsome race in the Galaxy... and i'll not have no pale-skin intimidating me!She crossed her eyes a bit at the 'not have no' attempting to sound a little bit more rural than she really was to further push the grammatical error Luxeria had made betraying her time away from high society.

Luxeria shook her head as Vasari tried correcting her grammar. High society or not, there were just some things were proper speech didn’t matter as much and were only hounded by the worst of grammar nazis. Leaning back in the seat, she crossed her legs and let herself take a sultry, yet dignified position. "Please. What could you hope to achieve while in the presence of a goddess?"

Vasari shifted slightly when Luxeria moved - effectively pulling away from her and out of her line of sight - and instead of pulling away leaned onto the girls lap and rotated herself so she was half laying across the back seat of the speeder with her spiked head laying in Luxeria's lap while she looked up at 'her goddess' playfully."Well... I suppose I could pull that pompous goddess off her pedestal and teach her what it is like to worship for a change..."Vasari's tone had shifted - but only slightly - growing more lackadaisical and aloof - and anyone overhearing would think one thing while her eyes spoke something entirely different.

Luxeria just laughed as Vasari laid out in her lap. "I guess we’ll just have to see, won’t we?" She knew they could banter back and forth like this for quite some time if they chose to. Yet, Luxeria decided to let it end there. She could let Vasari contemplate all the thoughts and possibilities in silence on the way back.
It wasn’t much longer before they arrived back at the hotel. Luxeria tipped the driver before stepping out, letting Vasari carry herself out this time. She looked up to the night sky as the city light illuminated the darkness. "The night is reaching its end."

Vasari spent the rest of the right in perfect silence, resting her eyes for a few long moments as her mind ordered itself and she worked herself into a sort of meditative trance. Pulling herself out when the airtaxi finally let them off at the Hotel she stood and followed Luxeria without a hint of the exhaustion that had plagued her moments before - she even smirked and shot the driver a wink as she moved off after Luxeria enjoying the rather confused look on the alien drivers face. After so long of making herself invisible to the world around her being noticed for once was an interesting change - and she thought she was starting to enjoy it. The turbo lift ride back to the penthouse was also spent in silence and it wasn't until they passed through the door to their room that Vasari even let out so much of a loud sigh. As soon as they made it into the room Vasari slipped into one fo the rooms after grabbing her cloak and was gone for several more minutes after a while she came out again wrapped in her completely concealing cloak and holding the book she had taken off Mustafar in her arms as she went out into the common room and sat down on one of the couches there waiting for Luxeria and reading silently.

Luxeria tilted her head in amusement as Vasari was quick to disappear as soon as they entered the room, grabbing up her cloak as she went. Shaking her head with a slight chuckle, she set the items from the store on the table as she grabbed her own bag and went into another room. Despite the society she hailed from and her typical tastes, she wasn't as fond of dresses as many might assume. Skirts were the most she went for, even party dresses that were short didn't sit well for her. She had yet to figure out the why to this choice, perhaps it was much too formal or constrictive. It had nothing to due with the seductive side of it due to the many options that worked in that regard. Whatever the reason, she only opted for dresses in certain occasions.
Stripping out of her dress, she put on light shorts and a tank top. She set everything to the side, noticing the holocron within her bag. She pulled it out and set on the bed, looking it over. So much did she want to dive into it, ready to unravel its mysteries and learn its teachings. If what she guessed was inside was correct, it would help her grow by leaps and bounds in the manipulation and illusionary arts. Taking a deep breath, she lifted hand hand over it, almost ready to activate it, but stopped. She needed to wait. Right now wasn't the time. Even if Vasari was someone you desired to seek out knowledge, it was a time for them to relax and get to know each other. there would be time for it later. Moving back over to her bag, she placed it inside.
Exiting the room, she stopped and leaned against the door frame when she saw that Vasari was reading. Without wasting a moment, she had dove into the pages of the book she found on Mustafar. She shook her head lightly, thinking on how she was trying to restrain herself from the exact same thing. Still, she moved forward, taking a seat at the other end of the couch. "Anything of interest in there?"
She wouldn't lie. She was curious as to what laid inside the book. If it came from the castle, it possessed knowledge of value, just like her holocron. It might have been something outside of her desire to learn, but that didn't deter her own curiosity about what had Vasari so focused.

As soon as Luxeria reappeared - or rather as soon as Vasari noticed her reappear, she set the book to the side and looked up at her with a sunny smile. She sat cross legged in the exact center of the couch, her billowing cloaked wrapped tightly around her body hiding everything but her face - she had the hood thrown back of course. Upon the mentioned of the book Vasari lifted her shoulders in a shrug of complete and total disregard as she casually replied."I don't know, I havn't exactly taught myself how to read it yet... Every time I feel like I am understanding something it changes topics."She flipped open to a page to illustrate what she was talking about - an elegant hand had written in a large section of text with several illustrations of plants but the text was obscured and written in a cypher that was not easily decrypted at first glance."From the pictures its clear what the subject matter is about... but I haven't broke the code the author used yet. I will though, It will only take time. And once I do I assure you, you'll be the first to know - other than me... of course."She giggled softly leaning against the back of the couch looking over at Luxeria with a slightly tilted head."What about you? Find anything of interest in the Holocron you took off Mustafar?"

Lixeria listened as Vasari explained what little there was to tell of what she discovered. It was clear that whoever wrote it wished to keep its work hidden, even should the book be found. It meant it was only for the eyes and benefit of the writer or, at the very least, for those who were worthy to learn from its pages. Either option made sense. It was similar with her holocron. By what was said in the initial message, it seemed like very few could open it, much less find it. It was a fated encounter, to say the least. "Any clues as to what the book is actually about though? Or does it seem to cover a variety of topics and arts?"
When asked about her own holocron, she shook her head. "I have yet to dive into it. All I’ve come to gather was what was said when I first activated it. It covers manipulation and illusions the best I can tell."

Vasari delicately lifted her shoulders in a vague motion that portrayed an ignorance of the true answer to the question put to her - though the narrowing in her brows seemed to also speak to the irritation she clearly felt at not being able to crack the initial code protecting whatever secrets the book held - regardless she answered the question as best she could at this point in time."Alchemy. From the illustrations and what little of it is in basic. It seems to be the notes and musings being constructed for another book - and though it is clear by the hand writing that there is more than one author of this particular book it was in Vaders personal Library... which means it either belonged to him or the Emperor at the end of their reign of power over the Galaxy. Perhaps we'll find the secrets of how they constructed the thing we fought in the Meditation room... but I doubt it. This seems to be a mere stepping stone, but i'll learn what i can from it regardless.
Shifting the cloak that concealed her body and also looked to keep her warm as well she leaned forward and rested a hand on Luxeria's arm in a gentle and reassuring manner."You'll figure it out... I see the drive in you, the desire to be more. I dont think you'll let anything hold you back for long."She smiled a little and slowly retracted her hand leaning closer while falling silent for several more moments as she looked deeply into Luxeria's eyes.

Luxeria faintly laughed. "I wonder what the chances are that it'll have clues leading to the main book. Hopefully something. Otherwise it'll be a lot of work trying to not only decrypt it, but actually form everything together to create that which lies inside. Maybe something of actual value to the Blackguard will be in it. Either way, I'm sure you'll, at least, find something of value in it."
She then shrugged. "I'm not really concerned about it. I'll sort through the lessons it has well enough. It's merely a matter of having the time to dive into it. Still, it seems we both gained something of value in regards to our respective desires and approaches to the Force."
When Vasari's hand fell from her shoulder and she leaned closer, looking into her eyes, she simply stared back for a moment before tilting her head. "So what are you thinking?"

Vasari's lips parted slightly as if she was going to reply, but no words came for a long moment or two. Within the span of silence however, the woman's hand raised again to Luxeria's face gently caressing her cheek as her eyes scanned her friends face - finally she was able to reply."I'm thinking about what it would feel like to have your lips against mine..."She smiled a little, finally breaking her gazing inspection of Luxeria's lips and blushing slightly as she clarified herself"You know... when you actually want to kiss me back..."The binding Vasari had chosen back on Mustafar had created the link that she needed to connect to her friends mind - but it was much different.

A dark smirk came to Luxeria's face at her friend's words. The thoughts of earlier had come back to the surface. And with it, she planned to tease and torment Vasari a bit more like earlier.
Lifting a finger, she let it trace along the Zabrak's chin and lips slowly and lightly. Her eyes shifted as they became more seductive. Her presence began to resonate from her and had an alluring feeling to it, the ability of Hypnosis intertwined with her presence. "I see. And why would you want that? And what are you going to do to gain such a privilege?"

Vasari could feel the shift in Luxeria's presence almost immediately. The darkness had always wrapped itself around her in a particular way, but this was different. Vasari's eyes half lidded as she felt her friends finger slowly tracing its way across her cheek and her lips - the latter subconsciously parting a little at the touch. The questions soon followed and Vasari allowed a brief moment between their end and her answers beginning. Her eyes refocused and when she replied her voice was a soft submissive whisper."You're not a fool Luxeria... you've felt my attraction for you - perhaps as far back as Mustafar when i first began to feel it myself."Luxeria had not backed away - or in any way prohibited her from her own exploration and so Vasari's fingers dropped to Luxeria's exposed thigh - the shorts she wore giving Vasari plenty of skin to play with."There are some things I wont do, and some I will be hesitant to do... but You'll not know either until you request them of me."The second was not a particular answer to Luxeria's question and the lure of response was perhaps the only real indication that Vasari had not fallen completely under her friends spellcraft already.

If there was one thing Luxeria had no intention of when it came to Vasari, was playing games with her. Sure, she'd play the game she had earlier, the same she'd do with many others, and lure her in, drawing out hr desires and feelings to the point it was difficult to hold back, and still deny her what she craved. At least for a little while, anyways. Anyone else, the touch against her leg Vasari had made would be as far as they got, carried only by her seduction and the false promises of getting what they desired, all for her own amusement or benefit.
She didn't respond to the first answer, but knew its truth. She was typically aware when those around her were drawn in by her presence. Only those truly skilled in masking their thoughts and actions could hide the subtle details that made it true. Still, that was neither here nor there. If this situation had played out back then, she would have done as she always did: wind her up and drop her. But tonight, they'd find their enjoyment. That was, after Luxeria had her bit of fun. She knew it would only heighten the experience so she felt no guilt over it.
After a moment, she finally responded to the second statement. "I see." Leaning back, she let her hand fall away from Vasari to lay across the top of the couch as her leg shift to cross each other, pulling away easily from her friend. "Clearly, that 'attraction' is petty if that's what it comes down to. Is that how you treat power and knowledge? As attractions that you will only do so much for, if not at all? I seriously doubt you'd be such in that pursuit, willing to put forth effort and dedication to achieve and prove yourself worthy of such rewards. Am I wrong?"
She then stood to her feet and looked down at Vasari. "if I am what you desire, it'll require no less." With that, she turned and walked away. Still, at no point did she become condescending in her tone or looks. The sensation of her presence and seduction of her voice and movements were all there. She was looking to draw her in, to make her follow and prove the level of that attraction. How badly did she want it? Was it a mere passing feeling? Was it simple control on Luxeria's part from the moment they met? These would be the questions asked of Vasari as Luxeria left her.
But as she left, she let the thoughts and feelings from the earlier encounter flash faintly in Vasari's mind, to remember that desire and lust, the game that was played that only brought forth greater excitement. She expected Vasari to stand and be upon her before she reached the doorway. It would be then that Luxeria would grant her desires and show her what it all felt like.

Vasari's heartbeat's quickened and only her discipline trained over the years at the academy hiding her true intentions from the Masters kept her eyebrows from narrowing at the challenge to her dedication to her goals and her future - and few women would ever enjoy being called petty. But still she refused to rise to the challenge offered - simply tilted her head downward in a submissive gesture of acceptance and remained silent. After a few moments she felt Luxeria's skin fall away from her fingertips as stood to shadow her in the pale lighting of the living area.
With her walking away Vasari was left with a choice - to continue to play the submissive or to act to play on a more common field. With Luxeria she never felt the need to overstep to prove herself, she didn't feel the need to boast of her own skill, it wasn't a game that she had to win. She wanted the girl, even now she could feel the heat rising within her body at watching her walk away. The submissive inside her would get her what she wanted, all she had to do was duck her head and follow after, and she could tell Luxeria was enjoying herself. She bit her lip slightly and slowly stood to her feet following after her silently... wondering what would change when she walked through that door...

The sensation of submission resonated so clearly from Vasari. In a way, it agitated Luxeria. This was a game, true, but at the same time, it was so much more. This wasn't a test of power or skill. It was a matter of desire and dedication. Everything in life was determined by this. If someone wished for something, they had to have that desire and dedication, and when it involved gaining it from another, it had to be shown. In nearly any case, the attitude coming from her friend would have cost her so much. She couldn't help but wonder if she was like this at the academy, if this was why she was merely and acolyte and no and apprentice.
Luxeria knew that she, herself, could never be that way. She would not hesitate to show her desire, though she wouldn't be without her conditions and restrictions. She wouldn't become a slave to another just to grow. Only if what she wanted was being offered as it should be, then would she accept. She would never be anyone's slave, tool, or toy. And without that dedication, without that desire, she would never have sought to learn the ways of the Force, much less leave this world.
As Vasari came up behind her, following in her submissive form, Luxeria moved quickly, slipping around behind her and pushing her against the wall. There was a slight hesitation in her push, enough to allow the Zabrak to raise her hands to brace against the wall so not to be slammed head first into it. She kept the pressure there, but did nothing else. Moving closer, she spoke softly into Vasari's ear, though it was a bit empty and darker, lacking the seductive tone. "Is this really all you are? What happened to that woman earlier who was expressing her desires when she had me against the wall?" She let off a small sigh, her voice lightening slightly. "This isn't about dominance, power or skill, Vasari. All this is about is showing her desire for what you want. That is how things work in this universe. Some say if you want something, you have to take it. But that is only have true, if that. It's about showing that you want something and pursuing it. You rarely need to show any level of dominance, but you must show resolve. Being submissive will only get you so far before people begin dropping you as you'll be seen as nothing more than a burden. You can't just be led around like a little puppy. You have to stand firm and follow with your head held high. Look ahead of you, look to the future, and set forth that plan to achieve what you want and what needs to be done to acquire it. It doesn't matter what it is, be it power, knowledge, or even me."
"This attitude doesn't attract me, Vasari. If you can't make me see or feel that you really want me, why should I waste my time? She moved even closer, her lips brushing against Vasari's ear. "However, if you want to become submissive to my touch, that's another matter entirely." Only in the last sentence she spoke would her tone of seduction return.
She knew Vasari wanted her, but the lack of desire to even follow her with feeling really killed the mood. She hoped her words would rile something up within the woman, though she wouldn't let Vasari move from her position. This was where she wanted the woman, this was where she'd send her friend spirally out of control in a wave of pleasure.
