*As the impressive Imperial Fleet made it's way out of hyperspace a new battlecruiser joined the formation. The Resurgent-class Star Destroyer Omniscient Eye took up position at the rear of the formation, a large grey statement that Imperial Intelligence was watching the entire force. Director Piett issued final orders to the surface before heading down the the ship's hangar and boarding his shuttle to meet the emperor. Today was going to be one for the history books. His shuttle took off in formation with 4 Sentinel-class landing craft and a squadron of TIE/sf starfighters, headed for the surface to survey the liberation personally.*

The Seventh Fleet had been come out of hyperspace shortly behind the rest of the forces, and assumed its position as a vanguard for the primary space force. Garrick himself was presiding over this operation, his lead grey uniform illuminated in the red lighting on board the bridge of the Regulator. He had chosen this particular color scheme as it was far more useful in battles, where visibility outside could be obscured by a myriad of effects that laser weapons tended to have on the eyes. He stood there, motionless, as he stared upon the grey hulk criss-crossed by lighting that was the ancient world of Coruscant.
This was, in many ways, full circle for him. Forty years prior to this day, he had fled Coruscant, leaving the comfort and safety of the Imperial Capital for parts unknown. Shortly afterward, the Empire had been thrown off world during the Battle of Coruscant, and he had not dared to return since. Until now. He could still remember the old days, spinning across the ballroom floor in the Imperial Palace, the expensive drinks, the beautiful vistas. The world seemed to hold it all for the rising stars of the Empire, and he was no exception to that label.
But that was a long time ago, and the glory days of the world seemed to be far behind it. The planet had seemed to have fallen into decay with the dissolution of the New Republic into the Galactic Alliance, and now, with no major force watching over it, the world was left more or less in stagnation. But that all changed today. History would celebrate the rise of a new order on this historic world, from this day forward.
The day the Empire returned to Coruscant.
"Move the fleet into defensive formation and watch for ships coming out behind the flotilla. Be prepared to bring us about at any moment. The last thing I want is a surprise from some overzealous ex-Galactic Alliance Admiral who thinks he can get the better of us while we are distracted. Launch fighter patrols and prepare the troops for landing on the surface of the world."
The captain standing next to him nodded in affirmation, before hurrying off to ensure that the Grand Admiral's commands were followed to the letter. With that having been done, Garrick ordered the four Death Troopers standing on the bridge to follow him, as well as to alert the other members of their squad to follow as well. He stepped into the bridge turbolift alongside his troops.
An hour later later, he, dressed in an AT Driver's Uniform, alongside eight Death Troopers, made their way into the hangar of the Regulator. Already around him, many shuttles and barges were launching, ferrying troops to the surface as he stepped aboard his personal Lambda-Class Shuttle. Closing his eyes, he stepped into his stateroom on the shuttle, before the ramp closed up behind him, and the familiar hum of the engines at the back of the craft kicked in. Lifting off the hangar floor, the pure white shuttle flew out the aperture of the hangar, before the elegant wings of the craft folded down, and the shuttle began making its way towards the planet surface.

A shuttle broke through the atmosphere of Coruscant, escorted by a pair of TIE Predators. It flew towards the flagship of Dah'lis Vao, an Imperial Knight who had come to the world. A transmission came to the bridge, with the shuttle's pilot indicating that the Emperor was aboard and desired to speak with Vao in private. Nicademus had done much thinking, and as a ruler and patron of the Imperial Knights, wrongs needed to be righted. There was no question about that. Her words had caused much thinking and the Emperor came, of his own will, to speak with her once more. He may not regain the trust of this Knight, but he could show that a change was coming, a change that she would approve and wanted to see in the Empire that was her home as many others saw it as theirs.

The shuttle was swiftly given clearance to land aboard the Emancipator and was greeted by her captain and an impromptu parade of troopers. The woman looked nervous beneath her standard issued officers hat as the ramp of the Emperor's shuttle lowered. She gave a low bow as the Imperial descended the ramp and then with a slightly shaking voice she spoke.
=Captain Millicent= Your Majesty, we have attempted to contact Knight Vao, but her communicator is off and she is refusing to let anyone into her training room. I- I'm sure she will open up if you came in person, sir.
Millicent then would either lead the man to the training rooms or follow any of his other commands.

Nicademus remains quiet as the Captain speaks.
Faina sometimes does the same thing when she is training. Please, show me the way and I shall speak with her.
The Emperor departs the shuttle with only two Stormtroopers as guards, following Captain Millicent to where the training room was located. Once there, the Imperial raises his hand, indicating that he would speak for himself. He walks up to the door, keying an comm system attached to it.
Imperial Knight Vao, this is Nicademus Delvardus. May I speak with you in private for a moment?
He wonders if she was willing to even speak with him. Then he keys the comm again.
It involves what we spoke of earlier. And I have come to speak further on it.

The sounds of an intense training session could be heard, even down the hallway. Captain Millicent was relieved that the Emperor was taking these things in such stride and with out blaming her for things beyond her control. As the emperor's voice filled the training room, the sounds of combat stopped. The door hissed open to reveal a rather 'well used' training room. Black burn marks adorned just about every surface, some clearly from blaster bolts, other from lightsabers. Dah'lis stood at the door, being the one who opened it. She didn't wear her usual red body suit and cloak, but a simple white training tunic and pants. In her hand was a still active training lightsaber and her light whip, though based on their lower hums were powered to low. Behind her in the room were the members of Lilith squad, dressed just as simply as Dah'lis. They were armed with practice blasters and riot gear. It seemed it had been an eight on one brawl that had been interrupted. She spoke only after catching her breath, the whole time looking at him with a cold indifference. No long with the same spark that she once would, but perhaps how a servant looks to their master daily.
Is the part about "in private" an order, or a request? Because anything you have to say to me you can say in front of my people. Especially in regards to our earlier conversation.
Her tone was even and betrayed no emotion. Though behind her Lilith squad scowled. Being freed slaves, much like most of Dah'lis army and crew, they seemed to have been filled in on what had transpired on the surface, and they seemed to lack the composure of their leader.

Nicademus noticed the looks of Lilith Squad. So, she had decided to let others know of private matters that involved the Empire. This would have been enough to arrest her for exposing state matters to unauthorized persons. Yet, they were like her... and the Emperor did not come to argue nor incite anything. For a moment, the Imperial remains silent before looking at Imperial Knight Vao.
Then they will hear what needs to be said.
The Emperor looks at her directly. His own tone even and betraying no emotion like her. However, there was a difference in the power. Nicademus had the authority to do anything, but in the end, rescinded his request to ensure a cooperation in order to defuse the situation.

Following Nicademus' gaze over her shoulder to the Liliths, Dah'lis motions her head toward the door. Lilith squad, take a walk and get some water, I'm not done with you. Hesitant for a moment the squad of eight females placed their weapons down and moved past the Emperor and his guards out the door. He was willing to make compromises then, so was she. Deactivating her sabers, the woman stepped aside to allow the Emperor into the training room. Once inside, and the door was closed and sealed behind them, Dah'lis used the Force to position two of the larger training cubes across from each other and she took a seat on one and waited for what the Emperor had to say.
Outside, Millicent waited with apprehension as the Liliths eyed the Emperor's guards. She really hoped what ever Knight Vao and the Emperor were talking about went well...

Nicademus moves to side, letting Lilith Squad pass before entering the room himself. He waits till the door shuts before deciding to speak.
There is to be a new policy with the Empire, Imperial Knight Vao. It is still in a refinement phase, but with some preliminary examinations, it can be without loss, but with gain instead. A necessity that has been on my mind since our last conversation.
The Emperor moves forward, looking at one of the equipment for a moment. He then turns, giving his undivided attention.
After the liberation of Coruscant, a policy will be enacted, a demobilization of the slavery work force with an end goal of banning it outright. Every month, for the next two years, one percent of the remaining eighteen percent of the slavery population within the Empire will be freed.
There was a lot that had been discussed. All sorts of programs and methods.
One percent seems slow, but it is to ensure a controlled and smooth transition. Slaves are freed and proper workers are found to fill their place. Slaves will be offered a choice of full citizenship within the Empire or allowed to leave without strings attached. Those who remain will be granted a year long stipend to help them regain loses and restore themselves. Those who decide to leave will be given a lump sum, based on family size. It will be enough for them to leave and start anew.
The Emperor pauses, letting Dah'lis take in this information.
Those of talent will be granted opportunities to help them regain losses. The considerable population gained by Coruscant's liberation, and the concern of the unemployed here, will be among the reasons for this policy. If freed slaves wish to remain working where they are, that is their choice. Otherwise, programs will be made to help them recuperate, rejoin society, and ensure work and purpose is found.
Nicademus continues to look at the Imperial Knight.
The primary reason, that will be known, for the elimination of slavery and this policy's enactment will be the destruction of a relic of the Old Empire. New measures will be taken to end its existence. Those found, disobeying the law, will have a variety of punishments. Running from loss of property, of which fifty percent will be granted to slaves in compensation, to the risk of execution by firing squad. Soon, the First Order will take a firm stance against slavery and, see to it, that it is ended and never returns.

Dah'lis sits for a moment and takes in what was said. Though she was happy for this change, she felt like it was still being done for reasons other than it being the right thing to do. There was a part of her that was grateful to the man but the other was still furious with him. Her face nor tone changed when she voiced her next question.
And what brought about this sudden... change of heart?

Nicademus knew this question was to be said, likely due to skepticism. Yet, he would answer nonetheless.
Your words made me change my heart, Dah'lis.
He spoke plainly and honest to her.
I spoke with others about what was said and came to realize the dagger in my heart that you had placed. The horrible impact I was making. The subject remained on my mind and I realized, then and there, that change had to come. This Empire is meant to be different... and keeping slavery, in any form, only contradicts that desire to change its image.
The Emperor looks at Dah'lis.
And so, I changed my heart and ensured that a wrong was made right. To set a good example for the Empire... and my children.

She could sense no lie in his words. He truly meant that it had been her words that had changed his mind. Slowly she stood and turned away from the Emperor. She was fighting back tears once more in his presence, but this time they were joyous. This had been why she sought to rise in the First Order ranks. To effect change like this, to not just settle for hunting pirates and independent slavers till the end of time. Now she had changed the galaxy for the better, and would no longer have to convince herself that she served a just empire. Now she did. Turning back, tears not yet fully under control she bowed to her emperor.
I beg your forgiveness for how I have behaved since our last meeting. You have made the dreams of a young slave girl, frightened and alone, true. I never expected overnight change, simply that it was being done sooner than later. You are a man still in his prime, and for many it would be too late if we waited for your children to rise to your position.

Nicademus exhales slightly, knowing that the conversation before had been of no benefit then. It only served to divide Emperor and subject, especially an Imperial Knight, which made the situation even worse. He decided to mend the gap, to ensure Vao did not feel unappreciated nor feel that her concerns for slaves fell on deaf ears. People would be disgruntled, but the Emperor had the means to silence them.
You are forgiven, Vao. The conversation was a sensitive subject and... sensitive subjects are hard to talk about. Still, a wrong will be righted to ensure a better future for the Empire. A better future for all.
He then glances at the closed door, thinking a moment, before turning to Vao.
However, I cannot forgive something though. I saw the looks of your squadmates and was able to understand that you spoke of our matter. I had hoped that there was more respect between us, despite our heated words, and that you would not speak of state matters. This is a breach of conduct. I am sorry, but your squad and you must be punished for that.
The Emperor turns to the side and bellows.
Lilith Squad! In here, front and center! NOW!

As the emperor spoke, Dah'lis' heart quickened. And she began to feel panic. Looking up in horror as her squad filed in. The heard the tone in the emperor's voice and whatever they were feeling this time was hidden beneath the exterior. Each one of them perhaps thought about what would happen, but not one of Lilith Squad's number made a sound or moved from their position at attention. Beyond the doorway Millicent also seemed concerned for her leader and most elite squad. But the only one to speak out was Dah'lis.
Please, no, Sire. They could not unhear what I spoke, it was my fault. Please spare them! I will take their punishment as well as what I am owed! Please!
She had dropped down to her knees during her pleading. Dah'lis would not let other suffer for her brashness, not again. And especially not those who trusted her to protect them.

Nicademus puts his hands behind his back, glancing down at where Vao had dropped in an attempt to plead for mercy.
I am sorry, Imperial Knight Vao. The protocol and laws of the Empire must be obeyed. Any breach must be punished.
His stern gaze turns quickly to Lilith Squad.
You and your commander have spoken and discussed a matter that you were unauthorized to hear! It is your duty to correct your commander, appropriately, and see to it that she did not breach the protocol of this Empire. Yet, you not only did not do that, but broached the subject with her! This breach has shown disrespect not only to the nation, but to me, your Emperor!
Nicademus bellows at the members of Lilith Squad, a great fury rarely seen.
Your punishment is as follows... your pay is to be docked in half for six months, your shore leave visas are revoked for six months, you are to be assigned to police duty during the remainder of our operation on Coruscant, you are to be put on that same duty during the ceremony that will see the transition of our capital. During this police duty, you are to work with Imperial Civil Services in seeing the needs of the people and ensuring cooperation between Imperial authorities and the populace. And finally, you are to be removed from frontline duty and reassigned to Mygeeto for six months!
The Emperor pauses, looking directly at the females. His stern look remained solid upon them.
Your assignment on Mygeeto will be overseeing the secure and smooth release of slave workers on the planet. Altogether, Lilith Squad and Imperial Knight Vao will see the release of six percent of the slave force that remains within the Empire. Ensure they are taken care of and looked after.
With that concluded, the Emperor relaxes his posture.
Am I understood, Lilith Squad?

At first bracing for the worst when the Emperor bellowed his punishment, but seen the women realized it wasn't a half bad punishment for discussing state secrets. The Nine women looked back and forth between each other as he finished. Finally Lilith squad leader, Helaina spoke up.
=Corporal Helaina= So... Our punishment is six months half pay?
Her neighbor gave her an elbow to the side to signal her to shut up before more got heaped on them. Before the Lilith's could cause any more problems, Dah'lis spoke up.
We will carry out this sentence with all humility and grace, My Lord.

Nicademus glances at Corporal Helaina for a moment before a squad mate shut her up quickly. The Emperor knew of the importance of this squad and the services rendered by both Vao and her Stormtroopers. Only a few knew of this breach. A punishment had to be enacted, but the Imperial felt that it should have something meaningful for those who were once former slaves themselves. It was a fitting punishment nonetheless.
Nicademus turns to Vao slightly, nodding his head to her.
Please, ensure it is carried out, Imperial Knight Vao. I do not want to have to come back and make my punishment more extensive.
His gaze slowly returns to Lilith Squad with his stern look hardly changing.
Dismissed, Lilith Squad. And Imperial Knight Vao, be ready. The liberation of this planet is imminent.

Lilith squad filed out again. Once out of sight of the emperor, they sprinted to their dorms, to get packed and ready for their new assignments. Dah'lis stood back up and bowed again to her emperor.
Thank you, your Grace. I will be ready to do whatever is required of me.

The Dominatrix shot forth out of hyperspace then, arriving in orbit above the planet not far from the crimson coloured Victory I class Star Destroyer known as the Emancipator. Neith Ren strode across the front of the bridge as the blueish-white hues of hyperspace receded and to be replaced by the black void of space and the planet of Coruscant. Her gaze shifting about to examine the multitude of Imperial craft that surrounded the former throne world of many an Imperial and Republic government in days gone by. Now, it stood only as a monument of the past which Emperor Delvardus sought to retake and claim as the new Imperial seat of power for the First Order.
While she did not necessarily agree with the sentiment, she placed her trust within Nicademus to choose wisely. Something that had not let her down so far as she strode back to the main command area of the bridge and opened a comm line to the Emperor. While her Brothers and Sisters had elected not to appear, Neith had insisted on being here. If for no other reason than that the Knights of Ren should have a representative. But also because she had a number of leads on potential targets to hunt down and relics that could be sought after on the Black Market here. Things to worry about after she checked in, she thought to herself as she keyed the communications device for the line to the Emperor My Emperor, this is Neith Ren with The Dominatrix. I will be deploying with a contingent of Purge Troopers shortly. Is there anything in particular you would wish for me to handle before hand? or am I free to go about my business as I wish for the time being?

Within orbit in near distance to Grand Admiral Needa's part of the fleet the Charybdis alongside Incursio fleet and the ships of the Rear Admiral remained within the back of the massive assault fleet, waiting so far on further orders as they fullfilled their part of the duty. Given her own surprise when the coordinates were sent to them at Foreost, Jenia realized the magnitude of this operation herself as now even in name Coruscant would become part of the Galactic Empire and perhaps even its capital once more. With her own ground forces aboard being under the command of others, the Conservator-class Star Destroyer waited for its time within the Seventh Fleets backlines until further orders would come in. Yet the Rear Admiral stood vigilant on the bridge, keeping so far to the last orders which were told to her while she was overseeing the activities in orbit calm as if it was routine.
