So she stepped out after making sure the man was settled in comfortably, and decided to try and find Anzhelina to find out more. Jemima does not have to go far to find the Nagai, who has been standing against the wall outside of the room Adrien had been brought to after being operated on ever since learning where it was he had been taken after surgery. When Jemima steps from the room, the Nagai walks to meet her, saying in a far different voice, one deeper and throatier, than the one Jemima has heard her use before, as her dark eyes constantly scan the activity in the hallways vigilantly, watchful for any sign of potential threats to Draykon's safety, "Miss Sacharo, you have our thanks for all you have done for Captain Picard, pointedly using the name that Leon had given when asked for Adrien's identity. What is his condition now?" Not only has the Nagai's voice changed, her entire demeanor has also shifted; the cheerful animation that Jemima had seen now replaced by an intent, stoic demeanor that is matched by the almost military bearing the Nagai evidences in marked contrast to her earlier casual and carefree way of carrying herself.

My eyelids feel heavy, and there's a throbbing sensation all over my body when I slowly, and with difficulty, open my eyes. I feel really confused, and my lips are dry. I lick my lips and try to get a sense of where I am. And my next wonder is who am I? I don't remember or recognize anything. And it doesn't take long before I'm making noises that do not make sense even to myself. “H-hello? He-help...”My heart beats so fast and so hard in my chest, I wonder how nobody hears it. And I grip something metallic with such force, that I hear the sound of something whining and almost giving way in m hand. When I look down, I notice that the metal of the bed on one side has bent inwards, leaving behind marks of my hand. “Whuh?”Fear grips me, and I scream. *Spectre walks up the hallway. Oddly enough since he's been here before, he walks around with a form of mild neglect like he was a stray cat or dog. He's about to get to the room that she's in when a sudden sensation of helplessness washes over him. He picks up the pace as he feels it through out his body. Fear. Then the scream. Busting through the door with a ripper drawn, he aims around the room until he quickly realizes no one is in there but her. Putting the gun away and placing the sunflowers on the table, he quickly sets his buy'ce down and sits next to Meony's bed. He notes the marks where her hand just was and takes her hand and holds it while brushing her hair back from her face in a calming reassuring gesture.* "Hush Cincir'ika. Shhhh...You're okay. I'm here now. No one is going to hurt you. You're safe." *Spectre quickly gets up, gets a cold wash cloth and dabs her head to cool her. Then he gets a cup of ice water with a straw and holds it up to her to drink.* "I'm so glad you're okay. I was worried you would never wake up after what those chaavla did to you. Rest now. You're safe."

Jemima blinked in surprise at her friend. What had happened to her in the short span of time they were apart?"Uh..." she wanted to ask if something was wrong with Anzhelina, and for some reason, the name Picard didn't sit well with her. She felt like Ade certainly fitted him better. But that was her personal opinion, and her friend had asked a question that deserved an answer, so, "He is stable, and recovering. He was very lucky. Near as I can tell, his unique physiology is what you can thank for the fact that he is still alive at all. I've placed minimal security for him, since I doubt he's a flight risk." She smiled sweetly at the Nagai, "You and your friends could see him now...." In a gentle move, Jemima lightly clasped Anzhelina's arm, and looked intently into her friend's eyes. She hadn't missed out the change in demeanor, or the way she'd gone from happy, friendly and social to a soldier, so she asked, "Is everything all right?"

The Nagai's expression does not change as Jemima clasps her arm, her dark eyes briefly looking at the hand on her arm before resuming their vigilant scanning of the medcenter's hallways as she says, "Everything is under control for the moment, yes. Looking towards the empty air to her right, the Nagai says, Why don't you go and sit with the Captain Anzhelina? Her eyes following the path one would take from the wall beside her into Adrien's room, the Nagai waits until the image of a tiny, pale skinned Nagai that exists solely in her mind - which is currently being driven by the facet of her personality that believes she is a humanoid male using the alias Grisha - before looking at Jemima and explaining, Captain Picard was born of human and Firrerreo parents, which gives him the unique physiology you mentioned. He has recovered from far worse wounds more quickly in the past," the Nagai's expression is momentarily troubled as she voices the last statement in a tone suggesting she is thinking aloud more than anything else, but soon resumes the intent, stoic, and watchful characteristics it has evinced as she scans the halls pensively, falling silent for a moment.
The Nagai's eyes blink rapidly and repeatedly as the fingers of her right hand tremble visibly, her posture going slightly slack for a brief instant while an internal struggle occurs; the facets of her trifurcated mind unknowingly contending for dominance now that the situation has become less stressful. While the fragment that knows itself as Constanza is typically the dominant one during times of non-duress, the fragment that knows itself as Forseti retains the forefront of the Nagai's consciousness for now - the fact that Draykon may still be in danger enabling the fragment to justify remaining dominant - and the Nagai's hand and eyes still once more as, her voice remaining low and throaty, she asks Jemima, apparently apropo of nothing, "Do you still wish to leave Honoghr, Miss Sacharo?"

So imagine my surprise when I see him placing sunflowers (which I think are very pretty to me) on a table nearby. I'm still very confused, and I'm also...floating? I suddenly land on my rump and I stare up in shock and surprise. Next thing you know, this giant is looming over me, and he's...comforting me? I'm still scared and confused. Though now, I'm even more confused. He seems to know me, and he's using some strange language...wait, I think it's...Mando'a? How do I even know what that is??? Regardless, he's offering me a drink, and I am thirsty, so I don't hesitate, but not once do I take my eyes off him. He seems to know me well, and he said..."Y-you know who I am? What happened to me? And who are you?" I say this all in a soft voice, because for one, I'm scared of him, and for another, my voice isn't working all that great. How long was I out? He said he was afraid I would never wake up. Maybe I've been out for a long while.

Erly had quietly stayed out of the way once the hospital personnel took over. She fussed with the sleeves of Adrien's jacket as she slowly made her way towards the room where they had moved the captain to. She was in time to pick up on the conversation between the Nagai and the young woman who was apparently the doctor. She had immediately picked up on the fact that the Nagai addressed the captain as Picard. Now, she didn't recall Adrien ever mentioning his name to be Picard, so he was either hiding his full/true name, or the Nagai was covering for him for some reason. She wasn't all that surprised; being in this line must earn you some major enemies. And there's nothing better than kicking a man with his pants down if he's an enemy. So she committed this to memory and made sure not to address him as Adrien anymore until she knew what was going on.
She also noticed offhand how quickly the big Mandalorian had taken off when he heard a scream. She briefly entertained the idea of following him to see what piqued his interest, but decided instead to stick to the doctor and the Nagai. It was then that she heard a soft fluting call, and looked down to see the dwarf nuna had followed her into the hospital and were now excitedly calling to her. She placed her index finger to her lips and said, "Shush! You're not even supposed to be here!"
Amazingly, the creatures complied and went silent. Straightening up at this, she nodded and turned her attentions back to the Nagai.

Leon had made no move to get up from his seat or leave the room, even as he picked up the scream of a woman from a couple rooms down, before the sound of someone bursting through a door follows moments later. Well, life deinitely was far from boring around here, that was for sure, and he had a feeling it would be no different once the crew got moving again, especially considering some of the people that had just joined up

While the fragment that knows itself as Constanza is typically the dominant one during times of non-duress, the fragment that knows itself as Forseti retains the forefront of the Nagai's consciousness for now - the fact that Draykon may still be in danger enabling the fragment to justify remaining dominant - and the Nagai's hand and eyes still once more as, her voice remaining low and throaty, she asks Jemima, apparently apropo of nothing, "Do you still wish to leave Honoghr, Miss Sacharo?" Wait....what? Jemima's eyes darted in the direction where the Nagai's own were following movement, of nothing. She also caught on to the fact that the woman addressed one of her invisible friends as Anzhelina. Now, while Jemima wasn't doubtful that something was off about her friend in more ways than one, she decided a more acceptable route at the moment would be to simply accept the strangeness and respond to it in a way that Anzhelina - or whoever she now thought of herself as - would understand.
Quickly thinking back to when they'd first met at the bar, she sifted through her memories of the names that were mentioned in the bar that she could not see. A scowly dude named Grisha, and a protocol droid named C3-J9, or Janine. So, guessing from the behavior, the posture, and the overall demeanor, she was fairly certain she was now dealing with Grisha. Schizophrenic AND multiple personality disorder..."Ah, half-Firrerreo." Jemima said pleasantly, "No wonder." She only took a brief second to ponder over Grisha's question about whether she still wanted to leave Honoghr before she said "Of course I do." With a smile.
Her reasons for leaving now including travelling with the Nagai woman. She had the feeling they would be a big help to each other, meaning herself and the Nagai, whichever her true name was. For one, Jemima was hopeless on her own, while the Nagai, for all her madness, was street smart. Meanwhile, Jemima can run explanations to anyone that might find her friend to be far too strange to be allowed on the streets. Plus, she's a qualified biologist and medical practitioner.

The Nagai nods, unsmiling and intent, as she says to Jemima solemnly, "Your chance may have arrived Miss Sacharo. Placing a pale, thin fingered hand gently on Jemima's arm, the Nagai leads her into Adrien's room so that they have some degree of privacy for what she has to say. Releasing Jemima's arm once they are inside the room, the Nagai speaks in a low voice as, her voice remaining a throaty and almost masculine one, she explains, Anzhelina, Janine, and I have served under Captain Picard before, and we will be joining his crew now. Before you decide to join us, there are things you must know, she cautions Jemima. We do not know those that are serving on the crew of Picard's ship now, for one. We will be aligning ourselves with beings that are . . . of a different sort than you are accustomed to. Do not give your trust to them unreservedly. You should also know that you will be joining the crew of a ship that is involved in activities of a . . . less than legal variety. To accompany us, you must understand that you are likely to find yourself in danger of one kind or another. Picard has many enemies, he is not likely to be safe here for long. We will need to find a way to get him to the Midnight Shadow and away from Honoghr as soon as he is stable enough to be moved to the Shadow's medbay."
The Nagai does not add that having a qualified medic aboard the ship will be necessary, trusting that Jemima knows that without being reminded of it, and she falls silent after making Jemima aware of what she will be taking on should she choose to join the crew. After a pause to allow Jemima to consider all that she has been told, the Nagai asks her, "So, Miss Sacharo, are you prepared to leave your life here behind, knowing now all that leaving will involve?"

Leon had perked up a little when the Nagai woman and the doctor entered the room, before he ducked out, since it appeared the pair had some private business to discuss that he was not about to eavesdrop on. It was during this moment, when he noticed Erly and her two nuna just down the hall from Adrien's room, before his comm link buzzed and he recieved Fenrir's message, calling them back to the ship, at which point he gave a nod towards Erly =Leon Asikari= Hey, Erly, seems we are needed back at the ship... If you've got a moment, go find your Mandalorian friend, since he is needed too... Leon had a feeling Erly wouldn't be too opposed to his suggestion of her finding the mandalorian, since she already seemed worried about leaving him alone with the cowboy that had helped Adrien on their trip over to Honoghr. Leon then waited a moment, giving the two women in Adrien's room what seemed like enough time to finish their discussion, before giving a knock on the door =Leon Asikari= When you're ready, we're needed back on the ship...

Jemima pondered everything, analyzing the facts as they were presented to her. She knew she was not likely to be going for a blue milk run with anyone she might meet in her life. From the beginning to now, she had learnt that it was a fact, life was seldom easy, fair or rational. But on the other hand, the one thing Jemima craved was acceptance. The only people she had ever had that from was her parents, and while she loved them for that, she needed the same feeling from others. Considering that she had tried this academically, and professionally, and been rebuffed, who was to say that the same would be of these people? Grisha, for all her multiple personality issues or schizophrenia, did not even hesitate the moment they met. It won Jemima's loyalty the most. The young woman didn't care for the captain...all right, that was not true. But rather, she was driven to make her decision mostly based on Grisha/Anzhelina/Janine, and anyone else, well, that would be something for the future. But right now, she made her decision because of her friend.
Her only friend.
So she wanted to make sure that Grisha knew that "I trust you."
She tilted her head when she heard someone knocking on the door and telling them that they're needed back on the ship. I wonder if they ever have a down time? She looked over at Grisha and smiled, then headed over to Captain "Picard's" bed. If they wanted the man in the ship, there was no way now that Jemima would not be going with them. They say that when you saved a man's life, you become responsible for him in more ways than one. She supposed that saying held true now for her, because she felt an odd bond to him, like she would take it very hard if something bad happened to him and she wasn't nearby to do something about it. She wasn't the best doctor around, but she knew enough, and she was confident in her knowledge. Fortunately, everything the man needed to keep his life support systems working was on mobile platforms, for emergency movement at the drop of a hat. She simply wheeled around the bed and started pushing the bed towards the door, looking towards Grisha expectantly.
"Even if I don't agree with everything else that you've stated you and your crew get involved in," she said in her strong Coruscanti accent, "there's two reasons why I'm still coming with you: One, you're my friend, who I trust, regardless of what you've just told me about being trusting, and I did say I would do almost anything to get off this planet, pleasant as it may be. Two, I saved Captain Picard's life, so he's my responsibility now. You want him on his ship? Then I'm coming along. The Force knows, if you get in as much trouble as you're implying, then I get the feeling my services will be needed a whole lot more besides just looking after the captain. So, to the ship then?"

The kind you get when someone tries to split your head in two with a Gammorrean waraxe, except you survive the ordeal. For that matter, what's a Gammorean??? I just know it's something I know, but I don't know what. I shake my head, slowly, not because I don't believe what I'm being told, or because I'm in denial. I'm accepting. "People need you. Go."I know how random that sounded, but I feel like it needed to be said.

The Nagai smiles, a rare occurrence when her trifurcated mind is helmed by the present facet of her personality, and nods, agreeing, "To the ship, as she moves to help Jemima push the bed from the room and to the ship. Looking towards a corner of the head of the bed, the Nagai tells the empty air, Careful with the platforms, and then, after a pause as though listening to someone speaking even though no one speaks save for in her mind, tells the empty corner of the head of the bed as she glances towards Jemima, Of course I will watch out for her, and then listens briefly once more before holding up a hand and telling that the empty air, I am glad she's coming with us as well, but let us get Captain Picard situated and find out why we are all needed on the ship now," since, in her mind, she sees and hears the image of a tiny, pale skinned Nagai enthusiastically speaking of how great it is that Jemima is getting her wish and that they will be traveling together.
Once the bed is outside in the hall, the Nagai helps Jemima angle it towards the hall that will take them eventually to the hangar where the Midnight Shadow waits . . .

Erly's head bobbed up when Leon put out the call to go back to the ship. "On it."
Two dwarf nunas on her heels, she bounced over to where she last saw the big Mandalorian, and she was literally bouncing with the way she ran. She overshot the room by a mile and came dashing back after the sound of a screeching halt and caught the side of the entrance. Looking in, Erly observed the big guy comforting a scrawny flame-haired girl who looked to be a long time patient around here. She was lying on the bed and had just told the Mandalorian that people needed him. Huh, fancy that.
She also noticed how the man looked for the first time without a helmet. It was nice to know there's a person underneath that armor. "Hey uh...sorry to interrupt, but we're being called back to the ship."

*Spectre knows what's going on with her, he gets a droid to give her a sedative. It's enough to knock out a Gamorrean, but with her metabolism it's enough to take the edge off her pain. She had just spent several months in a coma. She wasn't prepared for her powers to come flooding back like they did. From what he could sense within her, he knew she was picking up on a disturbance within the Shadow. He stands up, places the sunflower in a vase, walks over to her and kisses her on her head, puts his buy'ce on, and pulls the hood over it.* ::K'oyacyi.::
*Just as Spectre is leaving he sees Erly with her dwarf nunas in tow rushing by. He hears and loud screech as she is coming back. When she gets to the door she informs him he's needed at the ship.*
::I know vaar'ika. I'm on my way.::
*With that they both exit.*

I lie back for a while after the droid gives me a sedative. It's so strange, how my father (I guess I should call him that, right?) shows up just about the time that I wake up. I mean, was he here all this time? Or was it really one heck of a coincidental timing? Scary one way or another. The sedative doesn't put me to sleep, though it should have. I'm pretty sure of that much.
It takes me fifteen more minutes and I get restless. Like, really restless. I toss off my blanket and quietly slip my feet off the bed, removing all the monitors and things attached to me.
That's when I notice the dent I made when I first woke up, on the metal edge of the bed. Whoa. Am I that strong? I should be really careful how I touch people if that's the case. Is Spectre that strong? No wait...he adopted me, so I wouldn't have inherited anything from him. But it feels good to have a connection with somebody. And I think I want to be near him right now. But the first thing to greet me after him is green R2-series astromech droid. It warbles at me, and that's when I realize I can understand it.
It's fussing and telling me I took my time about waking up.
"Limey?" Apparently that's its name.
It huffs. Literally. Then it tells me to get moving, I need to check on my ship. I have a ship?!?
How old am I?
As if knowing what I'm thinking it tells me that I'm seventeen, and I have spare clothes. With really nothing better to do, I follow the droid.

Axiatinc was rolled in on a hospital bed and taken to one of the private rooms, he was half asleep. He was to stay here for a couple weeks while his wounds heal, until then, he was to read.

In one of the hospitals many private rooms lay a comatose patient. Hooked up to various monitors that read his biometrics Jacques was flipped from his back onto his side by one of the medical droids, careful not to disturb the tube entering his body through the nose. Jacques had been brought to the RDMC several weeks ago from Corellia in an medically induced coma. As the droid entered the new information into the database it noted any other special needs that the patient may need. Noting that Jacques had been weaned off the medication that had placed him into a coma he had remained in a persistent vegetative state, there had been little change since then.
Going over to a tray it had brought with it, the droid picked up a short metal rod. Spraying it down with antiseptic the droid began to poke and prod at Jacques extremities testing to see the reactions that may occur. Several times after a particularly strong jab the limb would recoil out of reflex. This went on for a few minutes before the droid left, satisfied with the results.

Jacques floated through open space. A smokey white haze seemed to cloud his vision although occasionally he would see through it in lightning flash bursts. An immaculately kept room. A white curtain. A woman walking above him looking down on him sadly. Somewhere around him was a noise he could not pinpoint but it droned on like the chanting one would hear in a church but slowed down until the words were unrecognizable.
It gradually dawned on him that these images were ones that he was seeing with his own eyes. The knowledge brought back a flood of memory and of his own body. He struggled with mounting horror that he could not move his body. His arms felt stiff. His lungs burned and itched, the effort of trying to breath hurt.
The slow chant began to rise both in speed and volume until it was like the wings of an insect beating inside his ears painfully buzzing through his consciousness. There was something distant, something distinctly alien about the noise.
Without warning a new image played across his vision much like that of a Holoscreen.
The sun was low on the horizon, overhead a trio of birds hung lazily in an updraft. Jacques could smell the salty air and feel the gritty sand beneath his feet. In the distance he could see the rest of his mother calling him back to the rest of the family. He knew that they would be leaving soon and he pretended not to hear her.
Jacques felt a sickening sensation as if he were somehow being violated, and the image vanished. He tried to recall the memory but every time he reached out for it it drifted through his fingers like smoke. All he could feel was a profound sense of loss knowing something had been taken from him. Something he couldn't remember.
The buzz returned, louder now. He could sense it as it wove its tendrils through him hungry for more, wriggling through his confused brain like maggots. More images filled his vision.
The first time he killed another sentient being during a small raid against the Mandalorian Empire, His hands shook on the controls of his starfighter, he could smell the smoke from the building ablaze below. He knew he had been hit on the raid, and assumed the atmospheric filter had been hit. Hopefully nothing vital was damaged.
He felt pride. Today was the day he was graduating from the academy suddenly the memory reversed and he was afraid he would not meet the standards and they would not accept him.
The sickening sweet smell of roses as he buried his grandfather.
Jacques continued to float there, mesmerized by the images before him each one appearing faster than the last. He didn't notice nor even care that once he had seen the memory it disappeared entirely. The other receded from his awareness, it was still there but Jacques ignored it as it continued its probing as another memory flashed by, and another, and another.
