Pursing my lips in thought after Riddick has spoken, taking a moment to consider who best to task with endeavoring to secure Bothawui's participation in the effort Riddick has come to set in motion, I am silent for a moment before I say, "I believe one of our Investigators has contacts in the Spynet as well as within the Council on Bothawui that make them an ideal candidate to send to enlist their aid. With, I lift a hand and gesture towards Riddick, the silent service of your contacts and of our Investigators, garnering the support of the Spynet would greatly improve the odds of securing actionable intel and information, hmm? Smiling apologetically, I rap my knuckles on the table and tell Riddick, Which, I am quite sure, you had already considered long before now, no?"
Motioning towards the door leading back into the academy halls, I ask, "You remember where the dining hall is in case you would like to grab something to eat before you rest, yes?" "I do remember, and yes, I have considered it well in advance." Riddick pauses for the briefest of moments. " I do not suppose you would allow me the pleasure of reciprocating your hospitality... by letting me cook a meal for our small group here, would you? Certainly a small, but tasteful way to get things started." Riddick refrained from mentioning, this time, that it was considered of somewhat bad form in his culture to eat alone when there were others around who could partake, a tradition that had spawned thousands of years ago from the need to ensure survival and build filial bonds as well. He had hoped his mere mention of it the last time he visited would be remembered, even if he did not give the reason behind the cultural consideration.

Riddick's question, intentionally or by happy accident, reminds me of his last visit, which in turn reminds me of what I had, in allowing myself to become distracted and preoccupied with what we have been discussing and what ensuring that I can set in motion what needs to be set in motion expediently and competently enough, forgotten of his culture; fortunately, being so reminded, I am able to avoid any unintentional rudeness, and smile as I say, "Of course, and then arch the ridge of muscle over my right eye as I muse teasingly, though i do worry that our poor head chef, Qochata, will worry that your request to do so denotes some degree of dissatisfaction with his efforts on your behalf when last you were here."
Lifting a hand and waving the comment aside to be sure that my intention to make a joke is not interpreted as anything but, I motion for Riddick to follow as I begin to lead the way to the dining hall's main kitchen . . .

After a solid night's sleep, Riddick wakes up and showers before donning his armored flight suit, minus helmet. He leaves and locks his quarters, temporarily, as he stops by the mess hall for a good sized breakfast. After that, he returns to his quarters, grabs his helmet and kit before heading to the hangar.

Reaching a pair of guest suites located next to one another, Kaiya gestures towards the doors after opening them, telling her twin and her twin's clone, "Here we are then. There are towels and basic toiletries in the refreshers if you feel like cleaning up, and if you need anything else, there is a dataterminal in the rooms that you can use to message either me or C3-P9, the academy's protocol droid. Looking at Soinee, she informs her in case she is wondering, Your friends are in the rooms on this hallway as well, and there is a directory of who is where on the dataterminal in the room. Can I get, she looks towards her twin to include her in the question as well, either of you anything at the moment?"

*Soniee was to tired to complain about being sent to bed. In fact, she welcomed the chance for sleep. Her blue eyes turned to Kaiya when she asked if there was anything she needed.* "No. I don't need anything."
*She entered the room and flopped face first on the bed. With some effort, she kicked off her boots.*

*Ellie shook her head when her twin asked if she needed anything.* "No, vod. I'm good for now. Just...got a lot to think about." *She gave a sigh when Soniee flopped down on the bed and barely kicked off her boots. Ellie picked up the boots and set them out of the way. Then she picked up her clone from the bed and set her on her feet. Luckily Ellie had gotten quite a bit stronger in her time away from the academy.* "Come on you. Get changed and clean up some, you can shower in the morning."
*She gave Soniee a gentle push forward towards the bathroom. When the small girl finally exited the bathroom, changed and kinda cleaned up. Ellie lifted the girl back onto the bed and tucked her in. Reassuring her once more that her and Kaiya would be close by, Ellie closed the door, leaving Soniee to sleep.*
*Ellie let out a slow breath as she faced the door. Her twin was standing right behind her and she almost didn't want to turn and face her. This was time that the have met face to face since Ellie left the Jedi Temple on Endor. She was almost afraid to hear what her sister had to say to her, to face her past mistakes. They didn't get the chance on the way back from Tatooine because Soniee was there, mostly it had just been idle chatter.*
*Finally, she turned to face her twin. Reaching out with the force, she could sense others nearby. Kateri and Honon were close by and getting closer, others milled about in the hangar and Soniee was finally falling asleep. She could sense all of this, but she was almost to scared to feel her sisters emotions in the force.* "So, it's been...a day. Hasn't it?"

Ellie's concerns about gaining a sense of Kaiya's emotions will prove to be unfounded once she allows her awareness of the Force and what it can reveal to those attuned to it to extend further and brush against Kaiya's mind; Ellie has, in Kaiya's estimation, always been more critical of herself than necessary, and prone to worrying more than necessary about Kaiya's opinion of her actions, as is the case at this point in time, for while Kaiya worried for her twin and sorely missed her, she neither harbors any resentment for her twin's need to go off alone to do what she felt was needed, nor thinks any less of her for having done so.
Smiling gently as she feels the hint of trepidation in Ellie as their minds brush against one another, Kaiya nods and agrees in Mando'a, "Bal'ban. * The tiniest of furrows appears between her blonde brows as Kaiya remembers when she and Ellie were so close, so attuned to one anther that there was almost no need of telepathy for each to know what the other was thinking, when their experiences were shared to a degree that they all but knew one another as intimately as they knew themselves, and the loneliness she had often felt while Ellie was away threatens to fill her as the fact that she and Ellie may never again be as close as they once were is made more evident undeniable by the sense of unease she can feel in her twin now that they are alone. There is a hint of wistfulness in her tone as Kaiya adds, Bic cuyir jate at ganar gar norac, vod. ** Her training as a Jedi reminding her of the dangers inherent in permitting emotion to hold too strong a sway over her, Kaiya smiles, her thoughts smoothing out as she accepts her sadness over what cannot be changed and then sets it aside, and asks in a concerned tone that reveals that her love for her twin, and concern for her happiness and well being have not changed at all since they have been apart, Pehea cuyir gar?" ***
* Indeed ** It is good to have you back, sister *** How are you?

*Ellie let out a slow breath as she felt her sister's emotions. There was no anger or sadness, nothing to hint that she was upset with her, just relief. A small grin formed on her features as she let the worry slide away. Even still, she needed to tell her sister that she was sorry for what she did.* "It's good to be back vod, it really is. Well...I mean, for what time I have to be back. I still have an Clan Ordo to lead, so..yeah."
*How was she? Now that was a question she asked herself quite a bit recently. With all the stress of her leadership position and everything in between, it was hard to tell.* "How I'm doing varies from day to day. For the most part though, I'm doing okay. How have you been?" *She looked about the hallway for a moment before turning to her twin.* "We have some catching up to do, don't we? What do you say we find somewhere to relieve the stress of the day and you can ask me whatever you want?"

Arching an eyebrow when her twin reminds her of the fact that Ellie is currently the leader of Clan Ordo, Kaiya crinkles her nose and admits, "I still find it amazing that you are the alii'alor of Clan Ordo now, her smile somewhat strained as she explains in a quiet voice, I always though we would be Jedi together, and then shakes her head, accepting that the combination of their unique temperaments, natures, experiences and drives has led them both to where they are now rather than focusing on what she had previously believed about their futures, before frowning in obvious concern as she considers how Ellie had replied to the question about how she is doing, telling her sister truly, I hope that you are happier more often than not, vod."
Smiling when replying to the question of how she herself has been, Kaiya gestures around to indicate the academy and what being a part of it has brought to her, "I've been well; being here, being a part of the Jedi Order suits me, trailing off briefly as she considers and then decides against going into more detail about how she has found an inner peace and sense of purpose that being a part of the Jedi Shadows had never quite given her even though, ironically it is the role of a Jedi Shadow of the Jedi Order that she feels she is drawn to more than that of any other. Laughing with more than a little hint of sadness when Ellie points out that they have a great deal to catch up on after having been apart from one another for so long, Kaiya agrees, I imagine we do, yes. Though she knows some of what Ellie has done while away, Kaiya is certain that what she does not know far outweighs that which she does. Nodding when Ellie suggests that they find a suitable place to unwind after the day and talk, Kaiya arches an eyebrow with a hint of amusement in her one as she asks, If our ideas of what constitutes stress relief have not changed in the time we've been apart, I have the feeling that you aren't suggesting the meditation garden or dining hall, are you?"

*A small frown tried to tug at Ellie's lips as her vod went on to talk about Ellie being Alii'tor of a clan. That and how she had always believed that they would be Jedi together. She pushed down the thought of what was coming for her role in leadership and where she was going from there.* "Yeah...strange galaxy we live in."
"I'm glad to hear that you're fitting in. Never doubted you'd become a knight." *In all honesty, she didn't know if her sister was a knight or not. She was telling the truth about her twin making it that far. There was no doubt that Kaiya would become a knight, and soon after a Master. Ellie almost gave a chuckle when her twin ruled out possible places to unwind, and hinted towards the most obvious answer. Well, at least it would have been before Ellie left, but now...* "I guess I used to be pretty predictable, huh? Probably still am now. Honestly though, I'm kinda tired of fighting for the moment. I haven't had a chance to relax for sometime. Maybe some meditation would do me good." *If there were anymore surprises for her twin today, then maybe this one would be the biggest.*

Crinkling her nose while arching an eyebrow skeptically, as though waiting for her twin to deliver the punchline to a joke, Kaiya is silent for a moment before she asks incredulously, "Seriously? Laughing with a shrug of her shoulders after deciding that Ellie neither looks nor sounds as though she is joking, Kaiya says, Well, the gardens are quite beautiful and relaxing even if you aren't meditating, so I think they'll do nicely."
As she begins leading the way to the academy's front entrance, Kaiya grins as she tells her sister, "So much for predictable. I don't think you've ever willingly done any meditation before."
Once they have reached the front entrance, watched over as diligently as ever by a pair of Jedi Knights that Kaiya nods a greeting to as they steo outside into the cool night air, Kaiya motions towards a path leading to the gardens as she and Ellie start down the steps leading onto the academy grounds . . .

It had been a few months since Halmner had time to breath. He hadn't seen his small apartment in longer than that. The last mission went well. He was sent to oversee a transition of power of a city in the outer rim. It all went well. He was excited to see all the new faces in the academy. He smiled at everyone. Many looked away, he was kind of used to it, he scared people that didn't know him. It took him more than a few tries to remember his password to open the apartment door. Finally, the door opened. He het his bag down, and looked around. His dumbbells sat in one corner, the dusty shelf in the other.

Having been admitted into the Academy Xeonon was shown to one of the guest rooms having been told that Master Frantz was currently occupied. He was willing to wait as long as needed to see him. Having taken off his duster he lay on the bed with his hands behind his head. The room itself was rather sparse with naught but a bed, a chair, and a desk. Its walls were bare, but as he lay staring at the ceiling his eyes traced over the random patterns and swirls in the material. His mind picking out patterns that were not there, looking for some meaning in the meaningless swirls. A ship, the face of former Grandmaster Kryn, the body of a Nexu with a Reeks head. The patterns were endless. In the back of his mind he was aware that this was no doubt done on purpose, a way to help someone enter into a state of meditation. However he was not interested in trying. It may be the Jedi way to study the force, to probe its depths and find inner peace in the process but it was not his way. Not the Imperial way. The Force was a tool, something to learn and to be mastered, with its various aspects probed to better ones skills and to better serve.
So he lay there looking at the ceiling waiting for someone to call on him.

Residential Dormitory, Room 226=Raja=It was good to be back home on Corellia, and this time around, it really did feel like a homecoming, unlike his surreal first arrival to the Academy after a literal lifetime away from it. Sure, he had left the planet with Master Frantz several times in the intervening months for various Jedi missions, but those had only been for a few days, and with his Master alongside him, it had felt like they had carried a piece of the Academy with them wherever they went. The evacuation during the attack had been different. He’d been sent away, without his Master, to an unfamiliar Jedi temple on a far-off world, along with other younglings and padawans, many of whom he only knew in passing, and they’d stayed away for weeks. Word of Corellia’s survival had been a relief, but to know there were significant casualties and yet not be present to do anything to prevent them, or to assist in the recovery, had been hard on everyone. A weight had been lifted from the young boy’s shoulders yesterday when he’d arrived home, and even moreso, now that Master Frantz had tasked him to prepare himself to play a more active role in any future crisis. The next step along that path was to construct his own lightsaber, in place of the training saber he had used for the past several months. This demonstration of mastery over the signature weapon of the Jedi Order was a rite of passage, but it would also signify his readiness and ability to defend himself in an emergency. He knew it was not only the key to being allowed to remain on Corellia if there was another attack, but also the key to furthering his Jedi career in pursuit of his long-term mission to aid his family.Sitting cross-legged on his bed in his dormitory room, Raja pondered his next move. His datapad lay on the bed beside him, while he fidgeted with a key fob he’d brought with him to Corellia upon his initial arrival. He cast his mind back to that very first day on Corellia. How after he had met Master Frantz, and dropped his very existence upon the surprised head master, he had been sent to meet C-3P9, the academy’s administrator droid. How the droid, not knowing his true identity, had missed the significance of his request to stay in Room 227, directly beneath his uncle’s old room. How the droid had instead assigned him to the closest available room, Room 226, which was across the hall and directly beneath his mother’s old room. Lastly, he remembered how he had initially suspected Master Frantz’s involvement somehow, but later decided it was instead the will of the Force.Either way, his plans to access his uncle’s old room had been thwarted for the time being, but perhaps getting into his mother’s old room would suffice? The academy holorecords showed that both rooms had been preserved, since their occupants’ statuses were unknown. But no, it wasn’t going to be that easy. He stared woefully at the key fob. At some point in the past decade, the locks in the dormitory had been replaced, and the obsolete chunk of plasteel in his hands could no more open a locked door than Raja could flap his arms and fly like a scavenger hawk. The logical next move would have been to simply show Master Frantz the key fob and ask for access to his mother’s old room. But Raja was eleven, and mischief won over logic as a devious grin sprung into his face.

Residential Dormitory, Room 226
=Raja= Raja already knew that the academy’s current dormitory access control system could not read his mother’s old key fob. But maybe he could access the data some other way. Grinning slightly to himself, the blond-haired boy took a deep breath and focused his attention on the fob, as his idle fidgeting turned into a deep study, using his eyes, fingertips, and the Force. Sure enough, there was a seam in the plasteel, so narrow that it was invisible to the naked eye unless you got really close. He could not even slide his fingernail into it. No doubt, this operation normally required a specialized locksmith tool. But with the Force, “size mattered not,” or something like that, right? He stared for a moment, capturing a mental image of the device, then closed his eyes, and felt through the Force instead. Suddenly, there was a pop, and the flap of plasteel popped off, revealing an access port.
Now he was back in the game. Snatching his datapad from the bed beside him, he tried to plug in his transfer cable. When it didn’t fit, he turned the port upside down and tried again with equally poor results. Turning it back right side up, he found that for some reason, on the second attempt time it fit perfectly. A green circle spun on the screen of his datapad for a moment, and then, to his surprise, he saw the key fob registered as a tiny data store. He tried to read it, but everything was encrypted, and slicing was beyond his current skills.
So the code data itself was still intact. That was a significant discovery, Raja thought as he copied the data to his datapad. The hardware was no good, but what if he could put the same data onto new hardware? It was possible that all the codes had also been changed, but then again, it was equally possible that the old code would still work somehow.
Raja disconnected his mother's old, worn fob, hid it under his pillow, and turned his attention to the bright, clean, key fob for his own room, which he now drew out of his pocket. If only he had an extra, he could test his latest theory. Suddenly Raja sat up straight, his eyes widening. There was a way he could get an extra, but he didn’t want to lie, either. He’d have to be careful what he actually said. When he first registered at the academy, C3-P9 had shown him how to access various common academy residence services from his datapad. And one of them was for replacement keys. Pulling up the list of services, he selected “lost or misplaced key.” Well, he’d probably better “misplace” it first, he thought, as he tossed it under his bed before submitting the request.
Closing down his datapad, Raja tucked the trusty device into his sash, and exited his room. He could not think of anything more to do about the key until his replacement fob arrived, so it was time to do some research on lightsaber components.

Residential Dormitory Hallway=Raja=Exiting his room and closing the door behind him (now guaranteeing Niner would have to provide him a new key), Raja was mindful not just of his overall secret mission on Corellia, and his current task to build a lightsaber, but also his ongoing need to practice his training in other ways. The residential wing of the academy offered many opportunities (and even temptations) for exercising and testing his growing Jedi skills. Placing his feet carefully as he made his way down the hallway, the padawan tried not only to make his footsteps as silent as possible, but also to step so lightly on the thick hallway carpet that he did not displace the carpet pile or leave any noticeable trace behind him. To do so successfully, he also had to regulate his breathing and narrow his focus, centering himself above the carpet. One step, then two, and then he was practically dancing down the hallway, noiselessly floating toward the staircase at the end of the hallway. Descending would take an extra amount of attention and caution. He knew from past experience that the third step from the top had a tendency to creak. Stretching forward, he leapt over the offending step, and cringed as his weight, landing from a greater height, made a muffled thump on the next step down. Sighing, he exhaled, and finished his descent out of sight the normal way.
