There was one more observer that had -- as far as she knew -- managed to stay out of sight of the Jedi greeting party. A young girl with long brown hair, no older than nine or ten, peeking out from around the corner. She had heard of the arrival, and one of the names had sounded familiar from when her mom-.. when her creator had still been around. Her new mom was nowhere to be found, which was sometimes how she preferred it; she loved to explore, and the Jedi Base never failed to disappoint in that regard. There was always something new to be found! And if there wasn't.. well, then she changed things so that they would be new again.
Her name was Lana. Full name, Lanette Shan Terr. And though she recognized a few of this motley assembly, she opted to remain quiet and stare at the ship as the ramp lowered, revealing the inside. A long hallway, a woman sitting on the floor, an armoured silhouette walking towards the ramp.
The silhouette looked familiar. All too familiar, and Lana's heart stopped.
Except it wasn't really her heart. It was her emotions, the subroutines that dictated how she felt, how she thought, how she acted. Lana's full chosen name was Lanette Shan Terr, yes, but that wasn't her original designation. She was created as Life Emulator unit 02. LE-02. And the silhouette walking down the aisle struck a chord in her memory banks, fitting a description she hadn't ever expected to see again.
After a few dozen cycles of disbelief and surprise, the reaction that followed was -- to organic eyes -- instantaneous and unstoppable.
"Mom?!" came the screech from behind the assembly of the greeting party, shortly followed by the owner of the voice. She pushed and dodged her way through the crowd, coming to a stop just at the edge of the ramp, staring up at the black figure as it stepped into the light.
Her face fell, slightly, as she realized that she was mistaken.
"Oh.. I thou-.."
And a thought occurred to her, and her face scrunched up.
"...wait.."

*Morgan's mind was preoccupied the entire way back to the base from the village, mostly upon the new creation wrapped across her torso. Was Daddy almost back from the campaign on Kashyyyk? He was the one she wanted to show it to the most! But even then, she still had other people to show it to, like Jake, and Michelle! Tom would like it as well! But she knew her daddy would have the most to say about it, and she was most eager to hear his thoughts. And his praise...*
"Ow," *she hissed as Rush stumbled over a bump in the road, and she lifted her right hand up to observe it. Her fingers were still very blistered from the entire ordeal, and she hoped they would recover soon... But they were worth it for the fruits of her labor, the fingers trailing along the cord of the whip slung over her shoulder, the misty purple essence emanating between her fingers.
Closer and closer she drew to the base, and through the breaks in the canopy she noted the presence of several ships descending from the sky towards the base. She wouldn't have taken much interest in them, but one of the ships had drawn her attention automatically. The presence she felt on the edge of her mind... was it... could it be?!
She gasped, then looked down at the top of the akk's skull.* "Faster, Rush!" *she commanded excitedly, with the accompanying nudge through the Force. She beamed; Mama was coming home! And yet, as the presence drew closer, her smile began to fade as it seemed the presence was... not quite well. Alive, conscious, but a bit... shaken.* "Faster!" *she repeated, this time sounding a little more desperate.
The akk took heed, closing the distance at remarkable speeds, Morgan ignoring the pain that seared through her blistered fingers. The base was at last in sight, Rush bounding into the hangar, large splayed claws pounding against the duracrete, claws scraping the hard ground.
So many people were here. Perhaps expected, seeing as there were a fair number of ships that had descended towards the base, but there was a particularly interesting group gathered around the ship that was the source of her mama's presence. There was her daddy and Michelle, which was less exciting than she'd expected, now that her focus was on her possibly-injured mama. He wasn't alone, standing at the ship's ramp with Tom, one of the Quarren Masters, and another little girl, who was holding her daddy's hand. And meeting up with them was...*
"Keith?!" *she exclaimed without thinking. He was back too?! ... if she hadn't been preoccupied with thoughts of her mama, she might've been more excited. It was still really exciting! But her mama may have been in need of help!
The girl had Rush slide to a stop and she leapt from his back, landing in a stumble on the hangar ground. She kept her footing, scampering toward the gathering, staring up into the ramp.* "Where's Mama?!" *she asked concernedly, bouncing up onto the tips of her toes and back down. She looked quite the sight, with her dark tan Felucian-made dress, a bow and quiver slung around one shoulder, and a whip slung around the other. The whip itself emanated a faint purple glow, with a mysterious mist rising from its leather, only to quickly evaporate.
And so she stood, and waited, the others around her distant from her mind. All she needed right now was a mere glimpse of her mama, preferably in one piece. The urge to glomp her on sight would be difficult to resist...*

*Gracie had happily tagged along behind Elly Otu as she'd come to the hangar, pleased to be entrusted with the details of her little project. It still didn't make a lot of sense to her, but at least she was told what it all was! She skipped along the halls, humming a made-up tune as she did so, until she bumped into Elly Otu, who'd stopped to peer around the corner into the hangar. Getting down on her hands and knees, Gracie crawled underneath her to poke her own nose around the corner and, in a whisper that was anything but a whisper, asked,* "What we lookin' for?"
*Elly Otu didn't answer, but instead, after a moment, cried out "Mom?!" Gracie gasped. Mommy? Where?! Oh, right, her mommy wasn't here. Elly Otu must've seen her Mommy! ... hey, wait!* "Hey, wait!" *Gracie called out as she darted after Elly Otu, who'd taken off into the hangar, heading toward one of the ships where a bunch of people were waiting for some reason. Gracie reached her side and peered around at everyone. She knew some of these people... sort of... Oh there was Morgan! She knew her! ... why was she calling after a mama as well? Was everyone's mommy here?
Gracie wished her mommy was here...
She quietly and patiently—or as patiently as possible—waited for an explanation, or an introduction. Something. Wow, that guy was really tall! Was he a robot too? He looked like one... or more like one than she or Elly Otu did. Was there a party?! She wanted to party!*

When Leigh had opened the hatch to the outside world, she had expected the promised contingent of Jedi Masters, ready to contain the 'potentially hostile' passengers on her ship. What she hadn't expected was that the contingent would be accompanied, and even preceded, by a group of three children all yelling for their mothers. She stepped back, her projected face flickering to surprised life as it processed the tiny faces before it.
The second was familiar enough--with enough biological markers, it was nothing for the droid to identify her as the daughter of Master Aerandir Calmcacil. Her last linkup to the Jedi Base's records identified Morgan Calmcacil as the adopted 'daughter' of Ms. Adelle Bastiel, which explained her urgency. The third child did not even seem aware of anything other than the second, which marked her as momentarily irrelevant. The first, however... A quick scan of the little face revealed no identifiable markers of relationship--mainly because it revealed that her body was entirely artificial. A droid, then, like herself. The shocked expression denoted recognition, despite the fact that Leigh had never met this particular model before. This meant that something about her chassis was familiar to the little droid. Familiarity without introduction, emotional response, and the use of "Mom" in conjunction with such familiarity, all of which indicated...
A Life Emulator?
At this juncture there was not enough date to determine whether she was looking at LE-01 or LE-02. However, the probability of the first girl being anything other than one of her predecessors, who had mistaken her for their Mother, was less than 0.000000004%.
And that meant that her simple explanation would come with some much more dramatic consequences. Leigh's processors took the inorganic equivalent of a deep breath.
"Hello, sister," she said finally. For the second time in as many days, she was grateful that she could turn off her hologram and hide her face. "Would you kindly tell the Master the following: That the Sith known as Vilus is being contained aboard this ship, that he may be armed and possibly dangerous, and that both Ms. Calmcacil's mother and our own are alive and in the medbay. We'd like their assistance in unloading them, and I'd like to be well clear of the ship before they begin unloading either of them. Please."
Behind her, she could hear Na'an groan unhappily, and wished that she could do the same.

There were many things for Lana to interpret from the brief bit of dialogue that was provided to her. Fortunately, all of said interpretation happened rather quickly.
This being in front of her was, in fact, one of her sisters.
There was a Sith on board the ship -- a Sith with a familiar name -- and she needed to warn the Master present.
Her creator was alive.
And her sister wanted nothing to do with their creator.
It was easy enough to prioritize these things. Immediately, she turned around and approached Master Calmcacil, looking up at him and speaking quickly, at least to organic ears.
"My sis says that there's a Sith, Vilus, on board, as well as Morgan's mom and my own, and they need help offloading everyone. But she'd like to be away first."
The terseness in her voice might have seemed rude, especially to the Master of this base, but she hoped he would find it in his heart to forgive her, especially if he fully interpreted everything that had just been relayed.
Next came the most important priority. Her excitement over Eliana Shan's apparent survival after seven years was cut short and backlogged by her sister's reaction to this news. There was no excitement in the other LE's voice. No modulation to relay happiness. Quite the opposite, in fact. From which two things could be inferred.
Firstly, Eliana Shan was alive and, for the most part, well. At the very least, stable.
Secondly, her sister was not okay. Which led Lana to turn on her heel, immediately running back to the ramp and looking up at the hulking droid, her face passing over with a sudden look of utter seriousness that did not normally grace her expression.
"Are you okay?"
It was candid and concerned. The fact that both her creator and her sister were alive and here was gnawing at the back of her mind, enough so that her body was reacting and causing her eyes to glisten with unshed tears. But there was very clearly something else going on here, and while she had always been the most innocent and "immature" of the three of them..
..that didn't mean she didn't care.

*Aerandir, of course, couldn't resist starting his reply with a half-joking, half-sincere greeting, but afterward, he too immediately divulged what he knew and what they were dealing with: Two who "should be considered hostile and dangerous," which Keith was aware of, and two who "may require medical assistance," which he was not aware of. There were two other individuals, the owners of the ship; Corinne had already accounted for those. Aerandir had meant to assemble a team of four Masters, but one had been preoccupied, so Michelle had been granted the task.
And Keith fully believed Michelle was capable of this.
He regarded her with a nod as she voiced her pleasure at seeing him again, then nodded to Tom as he did the same, noting Keith's "fortuitous timing."* "Trust me, it didn't go unnoticed," *was his reply, before Aerandir agreed with Tom and assured them that things would go well with Keith's aid. Then, after declaring that they could catch up later, they started to move toward the ship once more, Keith feeling right at home. Certainly, Felucia was not quite a "home" to him, but he'd spent enough time on the world to make it familiar to him, and if this was where Aerandir—and Morgan—now called home, then he would gladly feel the same, and continually lend his support to the family.
He looked down at the small child at Aerandir's briefly, noting her mixture of emotions: Shyness, apprehension, and skepticism. He didn't recognize her, but she seemed to cling to Aerandir with unease; not a lick of familiarity was evident in her posture. A new arrival perhaps? Why then was she still with Aerandir, and not taken away by one of the other instructors while Aerandir dealt with the task at hand?
He was distracted as his sensors picked up a somewhat-large object moving toward them very quickly, and he turned toward the hangar's entrance. Even from this distance, he knew what he saw: It was Morgan, perched upon an akk dog, bounding quickly toward and into the hangar. His head only turned when he heard the cry of another child, who darted through the crowds toward the foot of the ship's ramp, beating the adults there. Was that safe? His head turned from her when he heard Morgan exclaim her name in surprise, and he smiled a smile that no one else would see beneath the armor. It was good to hear her voice again, her voice that, despite being noticeably a bit older, still sounded so young and innocent.
The creature she rode in upon slowed to a stop and she bounded from it. However, her destination was not to Keith, but to the ship's ramp, asking where "Mama" was. A mother? And she wasn't referring to the planet? Curious... had Aerandir married at last, and was she aboard the vessel? Another child also appeared, one with short blond hair, who was silent but captivated with everything going on around her. For a moment, she seemed to take an interest in Keith, but her attention went elsewhere.
He kept a comment about there being more children than he remembered to himself.
In the brief silence, Keith took in Morgan's appearance. She was taller. Sort of. Still short as ever, but not as much as before. She also was apparently dressed like a native Felucian, coming off as rather primitive, the lightsaber on her hip the only indication she belonged to civilization of any kind. There was a chord wrapped about her, one that faintly glowed purple and... was emanating mist? Curious... and he could still see the small ring of scar tissue peeking out from beneath the shoulder strap of her outfit. It seemed healed, but still present.
Keith longed once more to utterly destroy the being that had inflicted those scars upon her...
His attention returned to the ship as the armored figure within spoke to the first girl, Keith picking up every word. A Sith on board? Keith needed no invitation to draw his rifle and hold it at the ready, pointed at the ground and away from any individual, safety still triggered until he was sure he needed to fire the weapon. The girl came to report the news to Aerandir, but Keith remained at the ready; no Sith, contained or otherwise, would be wreaking havoc on this base or its residents...*

*When suddenly, children. Or more of them, rather. The first was a shriek of "Mom?!" preceded by Lana rushing through the crowds toward the Hawk, with little Gracie in tow. Aerandir wanted to step forward and pull them aside, keeping them out of harm's way, but the hatch was already opened, and he doubted they would have done so if they didn't at least have some sort of control over the "prisoners" and weren't certain they had their welcoming party waiting at the ramp.
And then Morgan arrived too, bounding into the hangar on the back of Rush, no doubt having sensed Adelle's presence and quite literally "rushing" in to see her mama. And around her torso was some strange, glowing object... Curious, but he could look into that later, instead sparing a glance at Mina, who seemed entranced by the presence of these other children closer to her age. Strangely, it almost seemed to put her at some sort of ease, although hearing both of them seeking out their mothers seemed to wound her a little. Aerandir looked on her with sympathy and squeezed her hand once more, noting the appearance of Leigh, who spoke to Lana.
... right... Aerandir knew of their connection, but it had fallen out of his mind until this moment. This was their reunion... or perhaps first meeting? And, judging by Lana's comments to her, it wasn't exactly the happiest of meetings. Understandable, but something about it seemed to upset Lana, and that concerned Aerandir; the girl had taken to him in a way, and he'd gladly been a father figure to her. But he needed to focus on the mission at hand, which involved helping "offload" a Sith known as "Vilus," a name he wasn't quite familiar with.
Wait. Did she say something about her mom? As in, her creator? Was she here? That was interesting. Why did Leigh want to be away first? Something had to have happened... Details he could discern later. Looked like they needed to get aboard, and that meant leaving Mina out here. Fortunate that Morgan was here, then. He looked to one side and nodded to Tom and the Quarren, then to the other to nod to Michelle and Keith. The group then approached the ship, Aerandir stalling behind long enough to bring Mina towards where Morgan stood.
First thing, he knelt down and gave his daughter a hug, grateful to see her again.* "I missed you," *he told her, then broke the embrace and looked between her and Mina.* "Morgan, this is Mina. I brought her home from Kashyyyk after rescuing her. Mina, this is my daughter Morgan." *Now focusing on Mina, he explained,* "I need to go on the ship to help make sure the Sith on board is contained. Will you wait here with Morgan for me?" *The young, fearful girl looked between him and the other girl for a moment, seeming to debate this, but, recognizing the urgency, she nodded. Smiling at her, he patted her on the shoulder and stood.* "You'll be safe here. Morgan's a nice girl, she'll be your friend. Just wait off to the side for a bit, okay?"
*When she agreed, he turned and headed toward the ship. As he passed Gracie, he gently tapped her on the shoulder, saying,* "You might wanna get out of the way, Gracie, there could be trouble, and I don't want you to get hurt." *He then headed into the ship, walking past Leigh on the way in.* "I'm not sure what's up, but feel free to take your leave," *he spoke as he passed her.
The rest of the group had already met with Na'an, Tom Klanzo temporarily taking lead. He introduced himself professionally and stated that Aerandir was right behind them, and when Aerandir appeared, unlit lightsaber still in hand, he nodded toward the door she sat in front of.* "I'm assuming he's in there." *He nodded again to the group, who spread out on either end of the door while he stood to face it.* "How much resistance should we expect?"

*The armored figure. Morgan had been so preoccupied with seeing her mama that she'd completely overlooked her until now. The armor that was so similar to that evil being she'd encountered upon Haruun Kal... Seeing the very silhouette still somewhat unsettled her, threatening to bring up the awful memories from the incident, but sh refused to let them overtake her concern for Mama. Especially when she knew this particular being to be on their side, but encountering her second hadn't exactly helped that...
The figure was talking to Lana... and had she just called her "sister"? Morgan frowned and tilted her head, but at the mention of a Sith on board... Morgan didn't want to move, but she knew that she would have to. Obviously everyone was okay, as the figure reported, but was that why Mama didn't seem to be in the best shape? Either way, that explained the crowd of Masters. ... not so much Keith, but, whenever he'd arrived—and it had to have been recently—he clearly hadn't been content to sit by.
So as Lana went to give her report to the Masters and they moved toward the ship, Morgan reluctantly began to distance herself from the ship so as not to be in the way... or possibly in the line of fire. But then her daddy broke from the group to approach her, kneeling down to give her a hug and say that he missed her. Morgan eagerly returned the hug, wishing she could have shown off the whip to him now, but knew he had work to do. Even though he'd just gotten back from a battle... He needed a rest soon. She could bother him about her new weapon later, but she did say,* "I missed you too! I'm glad you're back!" *in response.
He then introduced her to the girl with him. Her name was Mina, and he'd rescued her from Kashyyyk. A new student then? Was she the only child he rescued? Morgan hoped not... She was aware of his particular hatred of certain Sith Orders that used children for slaughter in trials, and the Kashyyyk Sith were one of them. If this was the only child he rescued... Well it couldn't have been! He'd be in a much worse mood if he was!
Despite the situation, Morgan managed to smile at Mina as her daddy directed the new girl to stay with Morgan while he took care of the Sith, and that Morgan was "a nice girl" and would be Mina's friend.* "That's right!" *she agreed, putting an arm around the girl as her daddy departed.
But the girl gasped and broke free of the hug. Morgan frowned again, tilting her head.* "What's wrong?" *Mina didn't reply, but she did look a little apologetic. She was most definitely afraid, Morgan could tell. And that fear almost entered into Morgan's being, her thoughts on her mama's state amplifying. No, she told herself. Mama's okay. She's getting taken care of. I'll see her soon...
Attempting another smile, she spoke again to Mina.* "Felucia's a fun world! All the giant plants and fungi, it's awesome! Maybe you can come see it all with me! Well, after you get inoculated first, so you don't get sick from anything." *To Morgan's surprise, the girl's face seemed to light up with excitement at the prospect of seeing the jungle with Morgan, faltering only slightly at the mention of "inoculation." Well, there was a common interest then! Only Morgan didn't have time to take advantage of it. Why wasn't the girl speaking though? Maybe she was just shy...
That was okay. Morgan used to be shy too. They could break that together!*

"Clearly not much, if we're allowing children up close." Rutil strode over towards the assembled gathering, his voice carrying across the short distance like it had a presence all its own. The Zabrak Jedi Master hadn't heard the broadcasts, but he had seen the ship make its way to the hangar from his place in the council chamber. He had felt the presence of his former youngling pupil. But it was the other presence on board - the one that stank of the dark side - that had actually motivated the old man to the hangar, his durasteel lightsaber hanging gingerly in his right hand. Of course, Rutil might have been wrong; the younglings had all too eagerly raced towards the ship, bypassing what had to have been several dozen security clearance issues in the process. The other Jedi didn't seem especially concerned. Paranoia? Senility? While Rutil was indeed older than most anybody there, it was only upper middle-age when compared to, say, a Human. And when it came right down to it, the broken-horned Master would rather be paranoid than complacent any day.
It was a philosophy he might have to share with his peers.
Affording only a small nod to Na'an as he reached for his comlink, he clicked it on and focused his jade eyes on the boarding ramp of the ship ahead.Captain, Rutil said to the commanding officer of the CR90 just outside the hangar, send commando squads Alpha and Charlie to my location immediately, we need a perimeter set up.

Amidst the organized chaos that was the Hangar Bay of the Felucian Jedi Base, the YZ-900 Freighter known as The Saurian Deliverance made it's way down from orbit and into the Hangar, setting itself down on the far side of the Hangar to where the bulk of the commotion was occuring. The Freighter's loading ramp was lowered, before the red scaled Chistori Jedi Master appeared from within the ship, pausing at the base of the ramp as he surveyed the scene, noting the Vanguard-class Heavy Assault Gunship's that were landed just outside the hangar, which he happened to know belonged to Master Rawkill, having seen the ships on his trip to Talus.
But, the far more interesting scene, was that of the Hawk-class freighter which seemed to have the attention of a good number of Jedi, whose numbers included Master Calmcacil and Rutil Iorek. Many of them though, he did not recognise, undoubtedly members of the Felucian Conclave if he had to guess, or perhaps visitors from one of the other temples that formed the Jedi Order. Regardless of who was who and who came from where, the fact that the matter had drawn so much attention, and more specifically, the attention of certain individuals made him curious. Although he had something of a meeting to have with Master Rawkill, he was certain it could wait just a little bit longer as he continued to watch from afar

"You won't have any resistance if you clear the medbay first." The thin, clear voice of Vidalu Na'an piped up between the two men as they sidled past Leigh and Kent. As she slid up to her feet, she rubbed momentarily at the patch over her left eye before straightening into almost a military posture. Master Calmcacil had never demanded such formality, but her former teacher was a different matter entirely. She hadn't known he was here, and hadn't thought to ask for him, knowing he wasn't the type to leap to her rescue just because it was a former student asking. But it was easy to remember how he operated, and remembering made this whole thing seem a little more assured. "I was able to get him locked down fast," she said, "and took his main weapon, but he may still be armed--I saw what looked like a lightwhip I wasn't able to secure last time I checked on his status. He's...stubborn, mentally, and he's had two days to stew in there..."
Two days to stew on how she'd 'turned on him'. Two days to think of how he'd been locked up unjustly and his sister taken captive, two days to think of all the evil ways he could get his own back, two days to work himself up into a rage, a froth of familial protectiveness and injured pride. Cao'd been willing to fry civilians over less threat. Na'an's back would have stiffened even straighter, if she hadn't already snapped to attention. "But the woman with Adelle Bastiel in the Medbay is Eliana Shan. Current crime boss of Nar Shaddaa's Corellian Sector, highly unstable Force sensitive and his blood sister. He'd do anything for her sake--necessary or no." She scowled as she spoke, her brow furrowing, but continued. "I was only able to keep him pacified with her as a bargaining chip. Secure the medbay and get her mentally stable, he'll be much easier."
For a brief second her demeanor wavered, as her eye left the middle space between the two Jedi and looked to Leigh. Her partner was being blocked by the child she'd for some reason called sister, having not been given assurance that she could leave the ship and get clear of the Shan's removal. Leigh's hologram was still off, but she seemed to know that Na'an was looking; with a terse nod to Kent indicating she could follow her lead, she bent slightly, as if to make her dome more level with the little girl's face.
"I will be okay," she said, "Once I am off this ship. And because I don't know how similarly she made us, I'd recommend you do the same."
Despite the gentleness in her voice, the words were clearly meant to convey a sort of threat; without waiting to see if the girldroid listened, Leigh sidestepped past her and made for the exit, and then the far side of the hangar.

In and out. Adelle had remained stock still as the ship descended and landed, holding the Kasha crystal firmly to Elly's skin. Focus on me. The currents of the Force had become quicker, stronger as they'd approached the base, and Adelle could feel urgency, caution, suspicion mingling together. They were threads too fast and quiet in the stream of life she was letting through the illusion for Elly to really pick up on them but with as broad a presence as Elly had, she couldn't be sure. Focus Elly. I am here. Standing next to you. She felt the ship settle noisily on duracrete, heard Leigh and Kent walk from the cockpit to the ramp. Tensions thickened and the stream of Force presences swelled, cracking the edges around the hole in her illusion. Adelle clenched her free hand tightly, digging the nails into her skin as she tried to stem the flow. On me Elly, focus on me. Fighting both the burgeoning currents and Elly's sizable awareness proved to be more taxing by the minute. A harsh, cold stream, colder now than it had ever been it seemed, entered the rapids, adding a measure of grim hostility. Rutil. Stay with me Elly. Here. With me. Don't go outside, don't look outside, with me, Elly, stay with me, focus. She felt more signatures of life come forth and the gap she'd created in the illusion was now a terrible threat. An overload on Elly's Force awareness was unwelcome and dangerous, by Na'an's account. Don't look in the hall, yes I know Na'an's there, Eliana Shan you focus on me right now. Come back from the ramp stay on the ship don't look outside don't go outside. Despite her best efforts, Adelle couldn't fight both fronts. Elly's awareness surged towards the illusion and broke through, shattering it. Adelle's hands shook as the world and the Force flooded into the small room. Maybe, just maybe the Kasha crystal would save this situation.
Then Adelle felt Elly's awareness rush back in, receding into herself. Retreating like the tide before a tsunami.
Kriff me.

The still pool of water began to ripple, a gentle breeze flowing across its surface. She focused her eyes on Adelle, trying to ignore the dull ache from her left eye. The gentle breeze started to intensify, the ripples turning into small waves, and the world around her seemed to shrink. She was trying to focus, trying to hold on.
The wind turned into a gale. And it started coming from all directions. The water was churning, crashing on itself this way and that, as she and Adelle both fought the tide.
No.
The ship settled down, she could feel it, hear the engines stopping, but this was all in the back of her mind. The gale was howling, and Elly shut her eyes tight, trying now to block everything out, to focus on the small measure of comfort she had been afforded in the black void of space, feeling in her mind the hurricane whipping up around her..
No no no.
Suddenly, everything stopped. She let herself relax, but only for a moment, realizing the split second was the calm before..
..the storm.
A single spark streaked across her mental vision.
And it set off a chain reaction, a swarm of sparks solidifying into lightning strikes, screeching across her mind.
Noooooo-"-oooooooooooooo!!!!!!!"
The storm spread across her senses, lashing out at her again and again and again and her hands came up to her head. Adelle had tried. But without her visor, without her armour, without her protection, everything was an assault upon her mind, a girl once blind being thrown into the light and made to stare into it.
"Make it stop make it stop make it stop please make it stop!"
The world threatened to explode once more..

Untrained and unprepared the storm spread to Kent. The Teenager collapsed to the ramp. What!!!!! What is this!!!? It was pain, she was aware enough to know she wasn't in any physical danger but there was fear and pain and agony. None of it hers but she felt it all. Someone make it stop, make it stop, make it stop! She tried to think of a time she had felt something like this before, and she couldn't remember. The storm through off her thoughts. Now the fear was coming from Kent, her eyes wide. She couldn't remember. The one constant in her life was missing at the moment. Terror gripped the girl. She roled down the ramp to the feet of the little girls. She looked up for help, but only saw Morgans young eyes.

In an instant, Rutil's eyes darted up the ramp, his awareness shooting into the ship and reaching through every corridor and room to find the source of what could best be described as a psychic bomb going off in his mind. The Zabrak initially winced before he grit his teeth and braced himself. The mental explosion hadn't been from the prisoner on board, oddly enough, but from one of the two people closer to the ramp; all too likely the "Eliana Shan" that Na'an had told them about. That had taken the first two seconds.
On the third, Rutil acted.
Striding up the ramp, Rutil's thumb had taken all the slack out of the activation stud on his lightsaber. Forcing his way through the psychic assault, the Jedi Master followed the trail the Force had outlined for him, and before long he had a visual on the door that the Sith had been held in. He stayed in the hallway, giving himself ample distance between himself and his quarry as he wrapped the Force around himself like a shield, dulling the woman's mental screams to a nagging whisper as well as preparing himself for anything the boy would do to aid his sister. Shan herself could be handled. She was already with a healer, and practically every other master on site would be more qualified to identify the cause of her distress and quell it. But her dark-sided brother remained a wild card. If their bond was as close and tight as his old pupil had implied, then it was a damned miracle that he hadn't tried to rush to her aid already.
Fortunately, there was a good bit of distance between brother and sister. And the most direct route was blocked by an ornery Jedi Guardian who was silently begging the Sith on the far end of the hall to give him a reason to flick his thumb.

*And there was Master Iorek, with a snappy comment about the children present. In any another situation, he might have had a comeback, but now was not the time. The only children whose presences concerned him were Gracie and Mina; Morgan could take care of herself, and he knew Lana was smart enough to avoid danger when it was known. But Gracie was far too young and carefree, and Mina... If he'd known this ship was arriving sooner, he would have taken her into the base as soon as he'd landed.
But now that wasn't important. They had another Master on hand, who also saw fit to request military backup; that should make this go even more smoothly than before. According to Na'an, however, they wouldn't have "any" resistance if they only cleared the medbay first. Na'an's posture and mannerisms became a lot more rigid and professional. Aerandir's eyes flicked briefly in the Zabrak's direction; Rutil Iorek was a much more strict teacher than Aerandir, and no one would know that more than Na'an...
She explained the current situation, including the reason why securing the medbay's resident was important: Its occupant was the Sith's sister. And a Nar Shaddaa crime boss. Well, they'd made quite the captures, hadn't they? His senses reached within; Adelle was present, along with some sort of beacon of calm within. She seemed intensely focused but also weary; clearly doing her best to keep the patient stable. And the patient... was anything but. Even before he heard the muffled shouts from within, he could sense it. Panic, pain...
Morgan was too close to this. She'd take it on. He reached outward in her direction through the Force. Guard your mind, he warned. Stay positive. Focus on Mina. But to his surprise, someone else seemed to take negative effect, and that was the teenaged girl who accompanied Na'an and Leigh. Aerandir had paid her little mind, focused on their little prisoner situation, but he sure took note of the way she collapsed and actually rolled down the ship's ramp.
Looked like someone would need to secure her as well.
Iorek acted quickly, planting himself as a barrier between Vilus and Eliana. He wouldn't be left alone, so he nodded to the other human and Quarren Masters present as well as Keith.* "You guys wait here just in case. Michelle, with me." *If it was true, and Vilus wielded a lightwhip, Aerandir didn't want her anywhere near one, especially when she had little experience in defending against one. She seemed to understand, and joined him as they headed for the medbay instead, opening the door with a gesture and slipping aside, letting it slide closed behind them.
His first reaction would have been to exude an aura of calm, but his instincts held him back; something about the way Eliana reacted suggested she was taking stress from an outside source. Attempting to force calm may not have helped. So he only guarded his mind against her reactions and looked to Adelle.* "Na'an sent us, said to get her stable before dealing with her brother. Just tell us how we can help with that."

*Morgan's focus was torn from Mina and returned to the ship when she felt the sudden mental outburst, turning with a gasp. She winced as she felt a sharp pain flash through her own mind, but it was accompanied by a touch from her father. A warning to keep her mind guarded, to stay positive and "focus on Mina."
From that very brief initial contact, she didn't need to be told twice. Her mama was close... she was dealing with this too, but for her own sake, she had to tear herself away, not focus. She tried to close her mind with the techniques she was taught, and looked back toward Mina. Her own eyes were widened, as though she felt it too. Now Morgan had to distract her, for both their sakes!*
"Look at me, Mina!" *she commanded, forcing a smile and drawing the girl's attention.* "You're okay. We both are! Someone... someone's just hurt but they'll get helped! There's nothing wr—"
*Her voice was cut off and she again spun to face the ship when she heard an unfamiliar voice crying out from the ship's ramp. A teenage girl, crying out and quite literally rolling down the ramp. And Morgan thought she'd had extreme empathetic reactions before. Yet this girl had somehow found their way to Morgan's and Mina's feet. ... Morgan's feet, for Mina had shrieked and hidden behind her, hands gripping her left forearm and bicep as she peeked out from behind her.
Well, that's one way to bond with someone... Still, the sight was quite odd, and if Mina had been a prisoner, obviously she was anything but at ease right now. This was all probably too much for the poor girl. Almost too much for Morgan, for not only had she felt and nearly taken in the outburst from the ship, but this girl's secondhand pain as well; let alone Mina's own fright. Morgan's face twitched as she desperately tried to fight off these negative emotions. She had to be strong! She had to look after Mina!
She swallowed, doing her best to steel herself, before kneeling down beside the girl.* "It's okay!" *she declared, forcing a smile.* "Nothing's wrong! I-It's not you! It's someone else! Don't think about it! Think about... me!" *... odd choice, considering they didn't know each other, but it was the best she had! She was no expert at this...*

It had been a long flight to Felucia. What made it even longer was the fact that there was nothing for him to do on said trip. He was confined to his quarters -- although he could have easily broken out if he had really wanted to -- with nothing to do but to think. And he had realized that he had been in the wrong. Yes, he should have helped out his sister, but he should have done so in a way that didn't endanger innocents.
He could feel when they dropped out of hyperspace over Felucia. He could feel the world teeming with life below them. But he was used to the sensory overload. He could temper it. He always had, all his life. He had been trained for it.
He knew -- and he could feel -- that his sister had not.
So when the ship set down on the ground, and he felt one woman's world exploding in her mind in the nearby medbay, he acted quickly.
Make any sort of move, and I will shut. You. Down.
FINE. You pansy.
He didn't even take the time to roll his eyes, though he knew the darkness in his mind felt his desire to do so. He simply settled down in the middle of his quarters, sat cross-legged, closed his eyes...
...and reached out into the Force, into the storm in the medbay, feeling the torrential lightning lancing across his sister's perception, and he reached out to her as he had on Nar Shaddaa, a strong and steady wind against a fervent storm.
And in the quarters, Vilus sat unmoving. Were the door to open, he would not react. The darkness was a pool of sensation at his feet, but it made no effort to branch out. It simply sat there, waiting to be banished again.
Elly. I'm here.

The wave struck her full force. As close as she was, as tired as she was, Adelle couldn't brace herself fast enough. Anxiety, pain, fear, helplessness attacked her all at once. She reeled, swaying on her feet as she grabbed the examination table to steady herself. Like a shockwave, the pain rolled outward with Elly as its epicenter, afflicting every mind it touched, too rapid for her to even try to contain. Cao. Na'an. Rutil. Aerandir, Kent, Morgan, countless others. The pain began diminishing to her surprise, even though she still felt Elly panicking. There was space to breathe, somehow. Adelle placed her other hand on Elly's shoulder to try and keep her still. She plunged into the Force again, drinking everything in, every ounce she could touch, building a bubble within the Force around Elly. As she did, she brushed up against another presence, that burning, violent light. Cao. He was attempting to shield her. But if he was here then who— A quick check told her the shadow remained right where it had the entire trip and didn't feel like it'd be moving any time soon. Adelle took a deep breath. A huge gamble but right now, one she was willing to take. She focused on building the bubble, up and over them, she, Elly, and Cao. Keep her pain from affecting the others more than it already had, hopefully. Feet pounded on durasteel and the door hissed open. Master Aerandir. He sounded so distant.
"Sedatives," she hissed through her teeth. As much as she hated to put a patient under for anything but a surgery, sedatives were the fastest way to stabilize Elly enough to offload her and deliver her to a room more suited to handling her unique problem. "Top cabinets. Hurry."
Adelle felt more than heard someone move to the cabinets and start rummaging around, looking for the sedatives. Aerandir's power strengthened the shield she was trying to establish, quickening its completion. She couldn't tell if he asked her something or tried to say something. Despite the Kinrath crystal Na'an had loaned her, two days of nonstop healing and no sleep on top of Force exhaustion left her worse for the wear. The blood in her ears rose to a dull roar and her skin tingled with icy fire. It felt like forever until something changed. Aerandir left her side and she felt one of Elly's arms move, not of her own volition. Then, little by little, the pain and panic quieted down although there was some mild confusion. Elly's presence suddenly seemed so young as the sedatives flooded her system.
Let her sleep Cao. She'll be fine. With a grunt, Adelle forced her eyes open, rocking back and forth slightly. Her fingers achingly uncurled from around Elly's arm, stiff and bent. The crystal dropped to the floor with a small klink. Adelle rubbed her face, deciding how terrible it would be for her to just leave it there. Just as she started to bend down like an old woman, a young girl sprang forward and picked up the Kasha crystal, offering it to her. Adelle blinked, wondering where she had come from.
"Thank you," she said hoarsely. She took the crystal and pocketed it. "There should be some kind of hoverchair in the closet there, Master Aerandir. That'll help."
He smiled and Adelle blankly looked at him, wondering why he was smiling. "Just Aerandir," he reminded her gently.
"Right." She'd forgotten that. Aer pulled the small hoverchair out and unfolded it, gliding it over to the table. Adelle tried to step around the table to help and stumbled forward instead. Her legs felt like lead pillars and she couldn't feel her feet. With a grunt, she forced her legs to move and helped lift Elly into the chair, securing her fast. "How much sedative did you dose her with?"
"I'm not sure really. The syringe was filled up to here." He pointed to a number on the clear tube. Adelle blinked and tried to clear her eyesight. She narrowed her eyes, trying to math.
"A little more than I'd like but better safer than sorry." She rubbed her face and ran her hands through her hair, heaving a deep sigh. "I need the medical staff to check on her left eye. I did what I could but I want to make sure there's nothing wrong."
"Of course." Aerandir seemed to scrutinize her for a second. "I'll wheel—Elly, was it—to the medbay with Michelle. You can follow when you're ready. Morgan's waiting for you."
As they left, Adelle leaned on the table, breathing in deep. Her mind began to wander, floating along the sea of consciousnesses that filled the planet. She jerked her head up, opening her eyes wide. Not yet. She couldn't sleep yet. Several loud pops rewarded her as she stretched her back and rolled her shoulders. She shuffled to the hallway, finding Master Rutil, Na'an, and a few others there. Na'an. There was something she had needed to do regarding Na'an. Right, the eye.
"When you're done, meet me in my office," Adelle said. She nodded to the others and eased her way down the ramp. Time to put Morgan at ease.

The storm stopped but that didn't comfort Kent much. It had made her forget things. How could she ever know if it was all back? If she had forgotten one thing how much else could she have lost? Those questions began to bury themselves in Kent's already not entirely stable psyche. Still on the ground, she was no longer trembling, but was mumbling.I don't remember... I don't remember... She looked up hoping for help. There was a voice above her that was trying. She took it its owner. It was a little girl. Who, to Kent's eyes, couldn't have been older than 7. But is was someone. No something is wrong... the attack... it made me forget... I... I don't remember.
