**With a sense of urgency, the YT-1930 lands deftly and quickly within minutes of sending the Sage's personal codes to land. Drawing the Force to him, Vixont opens the landing ramp and begins to make his way toward the confrontation that was building to the inevitable crescendo of fates intertwined. His skin was grey and his eyes were icy blue as he walked down the ramp and exited his ship. Normally he would wait for some member of the Council to greet him, but these weren't normal circumstances. Pomp and ceremony would have to wait, not that he had such a desire anyways.**
**The Sage had to find the Grand Master of the temple here. It had been a couple decades since he had last seen Aerandir, and the last time they did meet Aerandir was just a Knight. Vixont only considered himself a Master in name only. A title that was given to him after a half century of training, though he never trained a padawan. The temple had it's familiar feeling, though it's familiarity was foreign. There would be another time to address that, but for now that would have to wait. Time was against the Sage. As he had to help an old friend protect what was dearest to him. The family that resided here. **

*'Do, or do not. There is no try'. Those words echoed in Eva's head for a minute, giving her something to think about. In reality, there was no try, she had to succeed. She turned to look up at Master A'kles and gave a nod.* "Alright. I am kinda tired." *But suddenly, a dark cloud came over his mind, an ill omen warning of invasion. With his only hand, he took her arm and began leading her away from the hangar.* "It may well be some time before you get said rest unfortunately. Stay close to me, I'll explain everything along the way."

the 13 AALs descended through the atmosphere. Rattling this way and that as they were buffeted by their rough approach through the atmosphere. Ifrit could see each and every creature under his command. Each and every one of them standing stoic as they expected death to come at any moment. A mindset that Ifrit was proud of his creations for maintaining.
While the bulk of the Sith force had assaulted the front entrance of the Temple. Ifrit and the strike force he had with him were taking a different route. One that took them straight in to the jaws of the beast.
He braced himself, knowing that as they drew closer to the surface, the anti-air defence cannons would start firing at them. All he would need to do, is make sure the transport stayed together enough to make a landing inside the hangar bay. From there, they might be able to draw enough of the defenders from the front entrance to allow Malvus and Viox to make a push further into the Base Let’s see what these Jedi are made of...

*The hangar defenses and guns were so distracted by the descending AALs that a mere lone figure was quite easily overlooked. Anti-air cannons... typical, but they had weaknesses. Weaknesses easily exploited by one close enough to the situation. Sobrius exhaled before leaping to the top of the wall, lightsaber smacking into his palm as he landed near one of the cannons. The red beam screeched to life as he dashed forward, carving through the first set of guns. He did not remain still, immediately rushing towards the next set of guns. The more he disabled, the easier it would be for the descending craft to make a direct attack on the hangar's entryway, and thus the Sith would have a simpler time making their way into the base...*

The AALs started their evasive maneuvers as the AA guns started firing. Several shots came close to their targets, exploding just off to their sides. However. Just as quickly as they had begun firing, they fell silent. Ifrit could feel a presence through the Force that was down near the guns. One that belonged to a man that Ifrit had not met often, but knew was a member of the Blackguard. He was quickly brought out of his reverie as a final round from one of the guns traced a path just along the surface of the ships hull before exploding in the air just behind the AAL.
The shock of the explosion took out two of the rear engines. Causing the transport to start to list toward the right as they continued their descent toward the surface. Tasradan yanked the controls hard to the left, hoping to even their descent out. Banríon and Zyara braced themselves on the left side of the troop bay. Hoping to add their weight in leveling the ship out.
Ifrit remained calm. Annoyed, but calm. Thankfully the rest of the transports had managed to pass through the cloud of fire undamaged. Meaning he could concentrate on just saving his ship alone. He stretched his right hand out toward the floor. His reach within the force gripping the right side of the AAL as it started to drift off course to the right. As he started to pull his right arm upward, the AAL started to level up more. The nudge in the force serving as the final tipping point.
A cloud of smoke trailed behind the AAL as it fell from the sky, rocketing straight in to the hangar bay area of the Jedi Base. The landing gear made a terrible scream of protestation as metal scrapped against metal before the transport finally came to a stop. The landing ramp dropped down to the floor, with Ifrit behind the first out into the hangar bay. The remaining AALs sped in to the Hangar Bay, before making much more controlled landings. Their own loading ramps hitting the floor of the hangar bay.
Banríon stepped free of the transport and thrust a hand toward the handful of forces that were within the Hangar. As she did so, a command went out to a number of vornskr sized sith spawn. The strange armoured creatures spilled out of six of the AALs, charging toward the Jedi Defence Forces. Their teeth bared and their spiked appendages slicing the air. Ifrit nodded toward Banríon, the woman giving another series of commands through a latent connection she shared with the creatures she commanded. This time, three AALs worth of taller armoured creatures slithered forth and moved out to secure the hangar bay perimeter.
As Zayara exited the transport, the final three AALs emptied their occupants into the Hangar Bay. This time the creatures were distinctly male or female, and looked much like Zayara herself. But they did not unload alone. Six of them were moving a large bomb off the final AAL.
Ifrit had requisitioned a concussion bomb from The Lusinia before they had arrived to Felucia. He needed not only a distraction, but one final strike at the Jedi Order. One final mark upon them, to bring them down as far as they had brought him down many years ago. They would feel loss as he had felt it, and then. Then he could be free of the grudge he had held on to for so longGet the bomb set up! Make sure the timer is set! The Jedi will undoubtedly know of our arrival soon enough... Send some of the dogs to the front entrance. Harass the Jedi's flank so that their attention is turned from holding the door...By your command...Banríon closed her eyes and sent the command out. 20 of the armoured vornskr sithspawn rushed out of the Hangar bay and headed for the front entrance. The rest started spreading out throughout the base to engage other forces. Ifrit tightened the grip on his WarGlaives, readying himself for any attack that might come

*Sobrius continued his one-man assault upon the defensive turrets of the hangar. He was not naive as to not expect resistance, as a handful of the guns turned upon him. His attack did, however, cause a slight bit of disarray, some gunners unable to decide whether to focus on the attacking ships or the saboteur. Not missing a beat, Sobrius threw up his hand to absorb the blasts that came his way, gesturing towards one of them to redirect its course before using the stolen energy to fuel a quick dash to close the distance before the turret fell to pieces at the end of his blade.
Almost unfortunately, it seemed his distraction did not avert all casualties, as a blast damaged the lead AAL. However, it managed to even out, depositing itself within the now-exposed hangar, the rest of the landing craft following in behind it. With a small smirk, Sobrius turned and threw his saber at the final turret, cleaving it in twain even as he leapt down from the wall once more. He landed in a slight crouch, standing to his full height as he lifted his right hand, returning saber smacking into his palm.
He strode into the hangar, observing Lord Bladeweaver's preparations. The rumors of his grotesque creations were not exaggerated, it seemed, but in the midst of it all was a more practical creation: a bomb. Striding forward, saber still lit in hand, he merely said,* "You are welcome."

Ifrit turned to Sobrius as the Sith Lord entered the hangar bay. He could feel the confidence dripping from the man through the Force as Sobrius strode up, pre-emptively accepting thanks for the guns going down. Zayara's troops continued to setup and prepare the bomb as they moved it into place and started working on the detonation mechanism I didn’t pick you to be the kind to require a pat on the back like a pup for doing his job... They each had their job to do in this raid. While the Jedi were all about patting each other on the back each time they did their job, Ifrit didn’t care for it in the slightest. If you did your job, then a mission completed successfully should be reward enough. Something the Jedi needed to be reminded of with this raid Lord Bladeweaver, Malvus has breached the walls and allowed the Blackguard forces to break the bottleneck at the entrance... we also have Jedi forces incoming...
Good... Tasradan! Prepare a shuttle... Ifrit watched as Tasradan emerged from the crashed shuttle, having spent the last several moments scavenging any parts from the wreck. The sith spawn pilot gave a bow to its master By your Command... Tasradan made his way across the hangar then, loading up into one of the empty AAL’s and getting it ready for take off. Ifrit turned his attention to Banríon and Zayara then Load up and be ready to take off. If the Jedi come in force, I want neither of you here. There is still much work to be done, and many plans to unfold. Understood? He held Banríon’s gaze as she processed his command. He suspected she wanted to disobey him, to tell him no. But he knew she could not. She was bound to serve his command, and once he was gone, take his place By your will...

Will finally makes it to the Hangar, lightsaber still ignited from the front entrance entanglements, a bit of smoke soot sticking to the scruff of his face and staining the traditional jedi master wears he has dawned for meeting with the Grandmaster.
His eyes portray no glee, no classic charm that is characteristic of the Corellian, nothing but righteous malice. A primal desire to stomp out evil from this place. His chest rises heavy with breath and anticipation. His eyes scanning the strange creatures being offloaded from the invading carrier-- not being phased, just assessing which one will die first, and how many he will kill before he can make it to the real Sith. . .

Jair had to rely completely on the Force to find his way to the Jedi Base. After one wrong stop at the ancient abyss, he was able to track the base down with his senses. He knew something was off when the comms went out because they were still back up and running on his ship. There was a massive tension in the Force, as if Ashla and Bogan themselves were about to spar on the planet, so he followed his senses straight to that point.
The A-wing stopped and hovered into a temporary landing outside of the base. Jair lifted the canopy briefly to survey the site before him. This was worse than he thought. He pulled down his canopy and fired his engines, making his way into the hangar swiftly. He began to encounter some blaster fire as he entered, but he ducked and just pushed through it, landing a bit hard, but not hard enough to cause any injury. He would worry about his ship later. As his ship began to slide to a halt, he opened his canopy and simultaneously ejected himself as he engaged single blades on his lightsabers in the air before coming down to land firmly.

In the farthest part of the hangar from where Will had entered and Jair had crash landed there was a sudden flurry of activity. A thousand shards of red tinted metal moved like a storm, expanding slowly out, engulfing nearby sithspawn, shredding their twisted forms and removing their blight from the galaxy. As quickly as the storm of metal had begun to expand it reversed it's motion, contracting toward a suddenly visible figure in blue robes who not been there when the storm had begun. As the shards began to come together he was easier to identify. The older man with a shaggy grey head of hair and beard scanned the situation with ice blue eyes before breaking out in a customary Half-smile.
As the staff coalesces in my hand and the storm of metallic death becomes and unbroken red metal staff in my right hand I bring the weapon down on the deck of the hangar, releasing a bit of force energy through it as the sound of a gong echoes all through the chamber, drawing attention to me. Pulling the flask from my belt with my left hand I talk a long draw before turning my attention to the Sith Lords in the chamber. I'm surprised that actually worked. And it's true, had I been anywhere other than the Jedi seat of Power and using anything less powerful as a focus it wouldn't have been possible for me to travel that way. That being said I couldn't help but let my smile grow at the though of what an entrance that must have looked lik. This is your one chance to leave here unharmed, leave now or be destroyed. With a grin on my face it isnt exactly the most intimidating I had ever been, but honestly I'm not expecting them to go running anyway. Even so I felt like I have to give them the obligatory option to flee, no matter how sure I am that they won't take it. I begin drawing on the force, getting myself prepared for the attack I'm sure is soon to follow, either from the sith themselves or their pet monsters.

As the first Jedi Master entered the Hangar Bay, The Tall Armoured Sithspawn closest to the door closed in on the man. Their bone claws were no match for the cutting power of a lightsaber, but their task was set. They would try and defeat this Jedi, or at the very least, slow him down long enough for their Master to act. And then a A-wing came crashing into the hangar bay, causing another group of the creatures to slither after it. Engaging the Jedi that launched himself from the starfighter, striking at the new comer.
Ifrit turned his attention to the man that seemed to appear out of a storm of metal shards that shredded an entire group of sithspawn. He smiled toward the third and final Jedi to arrive, impressed by the mans skill and weapon of choice. Things had just become that much more interesting as Zayara's forces continued their work of readying the bomb, the warriors pulling tighter rank around the bomb.
Three against two. That seemed like pretty good odds to him. Ifrit inclined his head toward Sobrius then, ignoring the last Jedi's challenge to them You want to take the guy with the staff and I'll take the guy by the door? Or vice-versa? Banríon and Zayara loaded up on to the transport as Tasradan readied the engines for take off at a moments notice

Jair leapt into the air as two Sith Spawn charged towards him, landing on the armored head of one of them. It roared ferociously and bucked and swayed but the Jedi held his grip. Jair disengaged his lightsaber blades and pushed down both hilts against the thick skull of the beast and as quickly as he disengaged, reignited his lightsabers. The creature hissed and swayed as the blades pierced its skull and into its brain, casting a nasty odor as the flesh around the lightsaber blades sizzled and bubbled. The beast began to slump over in death when it was bowled over by the second charging beast, throwing Jair off of its back. He flipped and landed himself, catching his balance to ready himself to take down this next beast, lightsabers pointed at it and ready to strike, when three others right behind it began to charge at Jair in pursuit against him.
"Blast..."
Jair uttered under his breath. He couldn't take on four of these things at the same time. He took evasive action, leading the beasts across the hangar bay as he scanned the room for something large and loose that he might be able to crush them with, but that's when he noticed the bomb. His eyes went wide in unwanted comprehension. He immediately disengaged his blades and darted into the base, using the Force to aid his speed, and going in a path that the bulky beasts could not follow. If there was a bomb in the hangar, the base needed to be evacuated now! And Jair made this his primary priority.

*Sobrius smirked at the comment in response but otherwise made no comment. Validation was not what he sought... however, it was a touch out of character for him, not that Lord Bladeweaver would know such. Sobrius was enjoying this perhaps a little too much; he would have to divert this extra emotion the first chance he was able to.
Fortunately, his chance came sooner rather than later. Almost all at once, three Jedi arrived to challenge them, all in rather... varied ways. While one made a simple, quiet entrance, another found it suitable to nearly crash into the hangar's floor. A third appeared seemingly from nowhere, and not without dealing casualties to the Sithspawn beasts upon his entrance.
Impressive. This one already had the old Sith's attention, so much so that his only response to Lord Bladeweaver's suggestion was to say,* "Staff," *before striding towards the final newcomer. His left hand raised, fingers splayed as lightning crackled through the air towards the man with the flask. A test, of sorts, as well as a distraction to keep him focused.*

Altair's Tactical Command team arrived through the corridor leading from the Medical and cloning wing. They moved in a tight two-by-two formation each of them decked out in full gear and shield generators active and at full power. They did not engage the Sith or the attempt to aid the ragged defense force in any way - they were clearly escorting several shipments of large containers one of which emitted a powerful darkside presence - the other a more powerful light side presence. So long as they were not directly engage they would keep to their primary mission. Along with the Tactical Team several dozen phase 2 clone troopers moved through the hanger as well surrounding the shipments making their way towards a Fury-Class Interceptor docked in the corner - engines beginning their warm-up sequenceSeveral of the troopers wearing flight suits broke off from the section with an escort of 2 troopers per pilot and broke for their ships - Aurek Fighters flanking a Hammerhead corvette whose engines also roared to life at the entrance of the evacuation team.
Lucian stood amidst the three pairs of Commandos barking orders holding a DC-17 quite uncomfortably in his hands - eyes flickering back and forth across the large hanger at the fight raging before them. The sithspawn new to him and the Jedi and Sith combatants making their planned escape quite tedious - but Altair had given his orders. The Artifacts must be evacuated...

As if choreographed, many other factors began to present themselves in the battlespace that Will originally saw as a buffet of evil to scourge out of his wounded heart.
As the houndlike spawn darted up, the jedi defense did what they could to slow their progress by blasting them, activating internal automated turrets that folded out from the hangar's ceiling. Will's piercing blue eyes focused on one that was full speed dashing directly towards him, the overhead claws excitedly piercing the air. Will brought his hands to bear on his hilt out front in a traditional mid guard; and at the very last moment, pivot to the side-- a side slide slash up swiftly took both claws of the head. And just as quickly, the slash down removed the head from the body as the beast continued forward into the space the claws were previously slashing in.
Before the claws could hit the ground, Will reached a hand out to catch both and launched towards two separate hounds approaching-- piercing the two hounds straight through the helmet like skulls. Hearing the squeals of the hounds as the fall face forward, Will looks towards the larger, wormlike spawn preparing for their clamoring attack. Slow and cumbersome, Will throws out his lightsaber, with the blade locked, and slice the throats of 2 of them before a large blast in the Force cause him to lose his focus and drop the blade.
Mike's entrance was like none he has ever seen from the man that might has well have been his Brother. And the crash landing of old style A-wing made for a far more of a chaotic element. Will called his blade back to his hand as a mythological being would call his war hammer back to himself.
Hearing the ultimatum that Mike provided the Sith was far more then what Will was going to offer them--which only serves to accentuate the age and wisdom separation between the two Corellian jedi masters--Will then sees the agile speed and telling lightsabers of a younger jedi knight racing towards what is unmistakably a high explosive design to take out the entire hangar.
Before Will can decide to assist the younger jedi knight, a team of troopers begins spilling our from the corridor behind him, evacuating what seems to be high value crew supplies and. . .force relics?
Will wanted so badly to lash out to attack the smug Sith that seem to be playing calmly discussing which one will attack some of the most powerful jedi in the galaxy like they are playing rock, paper, scissors. Will's emotions are peaking, but the priority needs to be the preservation of life and the safety of those behind him, and what that corridor represents.
So Will circles around, easily slicing claws and slicing opening slug stomachs that are anxious enough to attack him while he flanks around to protect the evacuating troops. Seeing the troops trying to keep a low profile, Will barks out. "Trooper, get your head and blasters in the game! You think you are going unseen by these animals?! Put some of theses down, aim between the eyes! Soft underbellies! Their mouths! Whatever you can!"
As he side steps, and flanks the main sithspawn forces as the troops made their evacuation route, Will's furrowed brow and piercing eyes met those of the demonlike Sith. A Sephi perhaps? It didn't really matter to Will. Anything he could do to draw the big guns to Will and Mike, the more the rest of the forces can be freed up to gun down the sithspawn, take out the bomb, support the lockdown of what should be the safest place in the galaxy--the jedi headquarters.

Fuze and Liz - who had been walking side by side in formation as they transported their cargo towards the Fury-Class Interceptor looked at one another considering the Jedi's command for a moment. With the power vacuum left by their Commanders capture on Rendilli it left three of the remaining 5 with matching rank, Fuze and liz among them. Liz gave a gesture that could have been seen as a shrug - though it was difficult because of her armor - and then raised her sniper rifle to take aim at a Beast on the far side of the hanger - she paused in her step for only half a second to scope the Sith spawn and then squeezed the trigger. The super hot plasma blast released from the long barrel of the rifle and shot across the hanger with a buzz only to smash straight between the eyes of one of the beasts. Her helmet visor turned from blue to red as she scanned the room with her HUD for viable targets while her rifle recharged. Fuze next to her taking the opportunity to engage the rest of his small force called out among the closed comm system Altair's army used - though his voice might still have been heard to those close enough.
::Contact Contact - all ranks engage.::
With the order being given the near 2 dozen clone troopers all raised their blasters in unison and began to fire at the targets closest to them - still not breaking ranks, slowly escorting their cargo across the hanger bay floor. Fuze looked back at the Jedi engaged with a rather large winged beast. He found it difficult to believe such a thing was sentient but after a moment realized that it was probably this beast that led the others and pulled out a trio of grenades from the belts wrapping around his chest - while he didn't engage the beast just yet he prepared himself - the darkness radiating from the Hat within one of the containers they were transporting would no doubt draw the attention of those Sith nearby.

Despite their casualties, the Sithspawn chased Jair to the hallway, but went no further. For their attention was quickly drawn to the new arrivals that entered the hangar bay, bringing with them precious cargo. The 3 creatures slithered toward the encroaching group, their armoured hides absorbing much of the incoming blaster fire. Soon, several more of the Sithspawn descended upon the group at Banríon's command. Splitting themselves between waylaying the pilots that were being rushed ahead to man their ships, and bringing the procession to a halt. Though, whether they'd be able to overwhelm the handful of commando's and troopers was yet to be seen.
All the while, preparations for the bomb continued, as one of the myrmidon like creatures worked on activating the timer and remote detonator. A couple of the blade wielding males broke off, to assist in raiding the two crates, hoping to get a hold of whatever was held within.
Ifrit smiled and nodded at Sobrius' response. A fairly easy way to settle who went after who. His focus turning upon the first Jedi to have arrived in the hangar. Watching as the man moved to try and provide some protection for the group that had just arrived. Their higher ups having decided it was a brilliant move to try evacuate some valuable artefacts through the hangar bay. He could not help but be amused by that idea.
The Jedi's loss, would be his gain. He took several steps slowly at first, before rushing at the Jedi. His minions were already directing their troops to task. He brought his right WarGlaive up, and swung it down upon the Jedi Master. Waiting for the man to expect his lightsaber to cut through the blade, only to fail were it to meet the alchemically enhanced material

Well the situation just seemed to be getting more interesting by the minute with Jedi, sith, sithspawn, and now clone troopers all running around. It was an irregular party going on all around them. There wasn't a lot of time to process it all however as, after a very brief conversation, the Sith Lords seemed to have picked their opponents, and it looked like one was focused on me. As the sudden surge of darkside lightening sprung from the old man I released my prepared defense. Shattering half of the staff above my hand the shards shifted from their initial red color to a cool blue. Reaching out with my left hand (still holding the flask) the shards started to move by my command condensing into a flat oval blue shield in front of me. The lightning crackled across the surface of shield as it glowed brighter and then suddenly the lightning reflected back toward the Sith, it's power amplified almost twice over by the nature of the shard shield. Tracking my own opponent I reached out with my senses, realizing that most of the sithspawn had moved away from out part of the hangar, it seemed like it would just be two old men going toe to toe. Well it could be worse.
As the shield did it's work the rest of the staff also shattered, it's pieces breaking apart before suddenly reforming around my right arm and upper shoulder encasing me from finger tips to shoulder blade in the now blue metal. Holding the shield in place I slide the flask back into my belt as the sith makes his approach preparing for the full on combat that was likely about to ensue. Am I to take that as a no the the whole leaving thing? I call, almost yelling to be heard over all the noise in the hangar.

*The Jedi's weapon was far more unique than Sobrius initially gave it credit for, but he had no desire to marvel. Nor time, as the now-shield reflected his attack. Sobrius ceased his assault and lifted his palm, hand moving to catch the returned lightning as he walked, absorbing the energy back into his being. He opted not to respond to the Jedi's quip, instead suddenly dashing forward to close the distance, bringing the lightsaber down in an overhead swing to test the Jedi's skill and weapon. He was admittedly intrigued, but more so in learning how to combat the weapon.*

As the Sith Lord absorbed the lightening and then began his dash I put my left hand into a fist and then pulled, bringing the shield back toward me as it formed into armor around that arm and shoulder blade as well. Adjusting my stance as the Sith comes into range stepping into the overhead strike and twisting my body in a single motion as I both defended and struck. Reaching up with my left arm I intercepted the Sith's saber, the blue force forged metal more than up to the task of preventing lightsaber strikes. As the windmill motion of my left arm moves the saber off to my left side I bring my right arm around, using the same momentum to bring the now red metal gauntlet forward to strike at the Sith's jaw. Although already strong I drew the force through the gauntlet employing the force to strengthen the strike. My opponent might not have wanted to chat, but I wasn't about to mess around either. The sooner I could end this fight, the sooner I could aide my comrades, or get to that bomb.
