Moving closer to the map when Jez pulls it up, Kaiya studies it as Lucian explains what it depicts, nodding when he has concluded to convey that she has understood what was said, at least insofar as that they are looking at where it is they will begin their search is concerned; the nature of the artifact, the war it played so predominant a role in, and exactly who or what its original owner were are less clear to her given that she is not versed in the history of Felucia as much as Lucian appears to be.
Arching a pale blonde eyebrow inquisitively, allowing herself only the faint hint of a confident smile given the gravity of all that has been said about the possible peril that lays ahead, Kaiya says, "Well then, seeing as we know where it is we'll be starting the search, I suppose the only question remaining is when it is we head out for that where there so that we can begin our search there at the where?"

Jez seemed to grow less irritated as the conversation went on. Moving aside to another terminal she downloaded only the data she had displayed and the maps covering the area to a separate data pad which she handed to Kaiya without a word.Lucian nodded to his counterpart, offering her a brief smile before looking back up to Kaiya with a slightly puzzled expression as he worked out the order of her words to assess their true meaning.
"We'll be leaving at once... if you are prepared that is. I do understand if you need time to rest, you're only just returned from your own journey into the wild of Felucia?"
The comlinks at Lucian and Jez' waists sounded at the same time and both turned to answer them in perfect unison. The message was coded in some way but after it had been transmitted both of them looked back at the Mandalorian's. Jez nodded a brief farewell and moved for the exit but Lucian remained behind.
"Jez and I are being called back to the Fleet, some action over Naboo requires our attention... I'll be sending Cane with you in my place, And you may make use of our V-wing air speeders if you wish as well, they're short range but should be fueled enough to get you there and back without issue. Is there anything else you require of me?"

More concerned about her twin than herself at present, for a variety of reasons, Kaiya glances towards Ellie when the question of whether or not they require rest prior to venturing back out into the flourishing, fetid, fungal forests of Felucia is raised. Their last foray into the fungal forest not having been terribly tiring in any way, Kaiya sees no reason to delay beginning their search for the unique artifact they have agreed to assist in finding and retrieving, but knows that her sister has things weighing on her which might require that she rest before they embark upon their new quest.
Her lips pursing ever so slightly when Lucian states that he and Jez are being called into action over Naboo, curiosity and concern for the safety of Jez and Lucian evident in her expression, Kaiya shakes her head after he asks whether or not they need anything else from him, "No, I believe we have all that we need. That Lucian and Jez are being called into battle is all but certain given the way that the former had phrased his explanation of why they were being called away, and while it would feel wrong to her to wish them well when war is what they will be waging, Kaiya has no reservations whatsoever in telling them, May the Force be with you," as she bows in farewell to them.

With Jez and Lucian rushing away in such a hurry the twins were left on their own for a few moments until Cane finally arrived back in the room, this time accompanied by a half-bothan that was clothed only in a white doctors coat pinned at her chest to cover her breasts but left her plunging neck line and abdomen exposed to the eye. The fur that covered her equine lower legs was perfectly groomed, and was several shades darker than the golden hair that covered her head and her hoof falls sounded against the duraceramic flooring with a slight pitter-patter as she approached the twins and nodded slightly before whispering.
"Cane informs me he will taking you into the Jungle... you really should have come to see me before you went out the first time... Felucia is a dangerous place even for a pair of Jedi"
Smiling softly she bowed her head in greeting before taking two vials from her coat pocket - each vial produced an inoculation valve which she handed to the twins.
"Forgive me... My name is Awen, I am the Medic for Captain Sirraf and his men, but so long as I am here - everyone on this base answers to me when it comes to their health and well being - im not fond of people dying when im on planet."
She gave the pair a warm smile and nodded her head once again - her curly golden hair held back by her circular horns that held the unruly locks in place.
"These are a simply immunization supplement against the myriad of diseases both airborn and bloodborn on this planet. Cane here promises to protect you against everything else... right?"
The clone trooper simply lifted his shoulders causing his green and tan jungle outfitted armor to shuffle slightly against the black armorweave suit he wore beneath it. Otherwise seemed to be a typical soldier, and it was clear the brief shrug would be all of an answer the pair would receive from him before he finally muttered a reply.
"I'm going to prep the V-wings, you two will be able to fly a single one if one of you is a half decent pilot you should be fine, the controls are standard. I'll meet you in the Hanger when you are prepared to depart."
With that Cane nodded to the twins and finally turned to Awen - hesitating slightly and nodding once again and would have departed quickly if Awen hadn't have raised her hand to the clone troopers helmet and placed her palm against where his cheek would have been. She remained silent for a short time then lowered her hand and smiled softly at him nodding for him to proceed. He left and she turned back to the twins a soft smile on her lips.
"They all like to pretend their too tough for feelings... but their not. All save Lucian that is, he doesn't have a problem expressing himself."

Kaiya, frowning in a mildly concerned and amusingly apologetic way when informed that she and her twin ought to have come to see the half-Bothan medic that has come to see them before they gallivant off into the fetid fungal forests once more, turns her frown upside down, smiling after the gregarious half-Bothan has finished speaking, adding a courtly bow as she says, "Thank you, Awen, while examining the inoculation valve to familiarize herself with it prior to using it. As, personally speaking, I'm not overly fond of dying, on this world or any other, your concern is much appreciated, and I will make a point of coming to you first should we ever find ourselves here in the future."
Rolling up her left sleeve as she nods a greeting to the clone trooper that Awen introduces, Kaiya injects herself with the concoction that she and Ellie have been given and, as she begins rolling her sleeve down, crinkles her nose as she tells Cane, "Only one V-wing is necessary, glancing towards her twin, who is a gifted pilot where she herself has never taken the time to learn the art given her intense focus on other areas in the course of her time learning to be a Jedi, as she explains succinctly, She'll be doing the flying. Nodding a farewell to Cane as he sets out, Kaiya returns her attention to Anwen, smiling in an amused way as she agrees, Yes, I've noticed that Lucian does not share Cane's disinclination for expressing himself. Bowing once more, Kaiya holds the inoculation valve, now empty, back to Anwen as she says, Thank you again for your kind ministrations, Anwen. We'll do our very best not to die, she quips, her expression sober enough to make it evident that despite her playful tone she has taken the half-Bothan's warning about the perils of Felucia's unique terrain to heart. Looking over to her twin, Kaiya asks in Mando'a, Tion'tsikala *, vod?"

Awen took the vials back from Kaiya with a kind and sincere smile and even a padawan would have been able to sense the pure light and good feelings radiating from the kind hearted doctor's smile as she sent the pair on their way towards the hanger. Once they were gone Awen exhaled turning slightly towards the the containment unit kept at the far end of the room. She had been trying to avoid this place - the power radiating from the Hat had made her uncomfortable simply by being brought onto the base - being this close to the darkness seemed to sap the light from her very soul. Not all trained in the combat applications of the Force she had little success in shielding herself from that darkness and so as a result the hat leeched her strength the longer she remained within the room, and yet there before her lay... her next patient.

*Ellies attention turned from the information she had found to the map Lucian showed them. The map showed the location, the fun part now was going to get it. That part would fall to her and her twin, and whomever Lucian sent with them. Ellie gave them a bow as they left, for what appeared to help repel an evasion on Naboo.*
*Her attention turned to the half-Bothan doctor that approached them. She took the small vile from Awen and injected it into her arm just like her twin had. She gave a nod to both Came and Awen as they left.* "I'm ready vod." *She followed after her twin as they headed towards the hangar. A grin appeared on her face as she cast her twin a sideways glance.* "So, am I always going to be the pilot? Do you really trust my skills that much?"

Crinkling her nose when asked whether she trusts her twin's piloting abilities, Kaiya answers in a bemused tone that suggests she believes the answer she gives is one that her sister, if she does not know, at least has a good idea, would be forthcoming when she posed the question, "Elek." * Shrugging with an apologetic, sheepish smile, Kaiya doesn't feel it necessary to explain that the mere idea of piloting anything more complicated than an airspeeder fills her with terror, her mind incapable of focusing on anything other than the innumerable ways she might kill herself or anyone unfortunate or foolish enough to place their lives in her hands were she ever to find the courage to not only learn how to pilot a ship, but also attempt to do so.
Shivering at the thought of ever finding herself in the position of needing to fly a ship, Kaiya crosses her arms over her chest unconsciously as she says, "Besides, why would I ever need to fly anything when you will always be there to fly anything needing flying? The idea of being separated from her twin for any great span of time as unpalatable as she imagines it is to most twins, Kaiya does not linger long on the subject, her question having been rhetorical, and instead nods towards the door leading from the facility as she says, We probably don't want to keep Cane waiting long, he doesn't seem like the waiting type at all," and then begins making her way back towards the hangar. * Yes

With the pair gone Awen moved to the back of the room checking the readouts from another terminal that was ran off a different grid than the rest within the room. Several charts and readouts later she closed down the terminal leaving only a power readout screen open - the power being drawn to the rest of the Facility was enormous - This room was the only room in the cloning wing that was powered independently, the rest of the facility was drawing power from the base proper, and soon that fact would be difficult to hide. Even though Altair's troopers had section off the Cloning wing, admitting no one save those under escort or with prior permission to be there, the effects of the cloning facility being once again in full swing would soon be noticeable to everyone on the base. The entire facility would be dedicated to only one purpose now. Awen dimmed the lights and gave one final glance towards the Hat at the opposite end of the room, glad to be moving away from it once again... then closed the doors and locked them securely before nodding to each of the guards that stood outside. She had one more stop to make before she would return to her patient.

*Cloning Facility - Research and Development*
*Emergency lights flickered on the moment the doors opened, but otherwise the room remained perfectly dark as the figure stalked into room. Lucian and Jez had performed their duty admirably considering their station - they would have made fine ground commanders had their hearts not drawn them to the skies - everything was in perfect order. Casting an eye over the the two disassembled cloning pods they had taken out of Chiss Space with their prisoner, he nodded in appreciation. It wouldn't be long at all before they could begin replicating the rapid growth chambers the Chiss had once used to build bulk command crews for their Star Cruisers. With those pods, and the three artifacts his team had been working on gathering, he would have all he needed to begin testing... With that thought he turned his head to the only real sources of light in the room. Two bright as day isolation chambers against the back wall, with an empty one standing in between. In one rested a perfectly ordinary green Top Hat... from it radiating all the darkness and despair one would feel in the trenches of war. The other quite the opposite, the head tip of a spear, silver and about a foot and a half in length, and from it shown the light of the Sol itself, and all the peace and comfort that could be granted by its heat. Two pieces down... Altair's eyes fell on the center chamber, within rested an empty pedestal one of the like you might rest a book upon.*
"Just one more..."
*His own voice sounded strange to his ears, as if the sound was unwelcome in the silence of the room. Raising the control panel of his wristgaunt he opened the computer that was responsible for running most of the upgrades and enhancements he had made for his armor - its circuitry ran throughout his EV suit, the collapsible armor and helm he wore, even down to the Jet boots and that was only a portion of its capabilities. Moving to the Cloning Facilities central computer he lowered the gauntlet to the terminal and out shot two connection wires - within moments he was into the computers systems and half a moment later he had broken the firewall and slipped through into the bases mainframe network. Kids stuff. Literally it had been, he had written the code he had just used years ago when he still lived here, bored out of is mind in the company of these Jedi... Well, not these... few living here now would remember the boy, and even fewer would recognize the man he had become. Hopefully the one he was searching for was one of the latter. Finally he had what he was looking for - access to the archives, the security feeds, the base defensive network, and the holovid records - a smirk played across his lips...*
"Find her... Find Zendora."

Since his return he had pulled his forces back from their patrol duties around the base leaving that command to @dutch and his soldiers that had taken to the post quite nicely. His own men numbered only in the dozens now - but each of them he would gladly have at his back before an army of thousands. The Storm had caught him unawares - his senses had dulled much over the years of solitude and now that they were needed most they of course failed him due to neglect. The First he heard of the onslaught appearing outside was the cries that had been brought into the Medical Wing only a dozen or so yards from here he and a group of his Troopers had just completed relocating a few of the supplies that had just been delivered from their mission to Rendilli - not what was desired - and what he had attained had come at far to high a price - but there was nothing to be done about that now. He had planned to meet up with the first group of Shadowalkers that had finally answered the summons to return that were waiting for him in the hanger when Awen rushed through the cooridor - her hooves clip clopping on the tiled floor as she called out in her sweet angelic voice for men to help with triage. It took Altair only moments longer to get the gist of what was happening and even then it had come from a static laden transmission from Lucian who had apparently just flown through the storm to warn them of the incoming attack - of course much to late.
"Lock down the Medical wing and divert all of our forces here towards protecting the wounded... Find Fuze and Stitch and tell them to secure the research and someone track down Liz.. She's on overwatch! Lets go people!"
His men jumped to and within moments the entire Medical wing had been closed off but for the entrances in the front where they were still bringing in the wounded. He still had no clue how large the assault was - who was leading - what their objective was - or why they had come - but one thing was clear - the supposed PEACE in the Galaxy had been a lie all along - and this just proved it.

Mark was helping with small tasks as more of the wounded kept pouring in through the entrance. The Jedi masters teach that we need not fear, but, the boy was afraid. He had to be honest with himself. Still he kept repeating the Jedi Code to himself mentally as he helped as much as he could... but something made him freeze in his tracks. Something was wrong. Here. At the base right now. Something was wrong beyond the obvious raid. Something... someone... else... was here. Someone familiar, yet, strange. And it felt unsettling, like he was being watched.

"Get the Hat and the Spear on board the Star Raiser... I'm going to find Paradigm and retrieve the Book. We have to get our research off the planet before it falls into the hands of the Sith... or the Jedi. Keep our forces dedicated towards the defense of the Hanger and..."
*Altair and his command force rounded the corner just in time to see a group moving people through the base - wounded no doubt - this facility had become impossible to secure ever since the Sith Raid had started - which is why they had begun their evacuation of the planet. What they were working on was too important to be disrupted by the squabbles between these two factions - this was not his war. His commands were cut short as he noticed a Padawan - or so he assumed - standing in the middle of the corridor.*
"Thank you Lucian... see to it, and you and Jez get what's left of Gadriel's fleet back in the sky... Dismissed."He turned his gaze back towards the boy in the corridor."You boy..."
Altair's voice was firm and commanding - it had been many years ago, and a different war, but something about the child standing there made him think of a far younger version of himself... when he still went by the name Ronan.
"Who assigned you here?"

At the mans sharp questioning, Mark snapped back to his surroundings. Something still felt quite off though. The boy didn't know quite what to make of it. It was a very uncomfortable feeling and he didn't like it, but he had more current matters to attend to, so he pushed it to the back of his mind for now. He addressed the man who questioned what he was doing there.
"No one really, people asked for my help though so I-"
Before Mark could finish his sentence, a Jedi rushed through the active entryway, interrupting him and everything in the room.

Jair burst into the medical wing through the active entryway. By the looks of it, he had encountered some trouble on the way in, which, considering the circumstances overall, was not surprising. Jair tried to keep himself as calm as possible, as he did not want to frighten anyone or cause a panic. But urgency was apparent in his voice as he announced as loudly as he could,
"We need to evacuate the base now. Who's in charge in here?"
Jair looked around to find the Jedi assigned to the facilities. It had been a while so he wasn't familiar with everyone. He realized his intrusion and announcement might come across as a bit off for that reason, but, he had just seen a bomb, brought in by the Sith, in the hangar. There was no time to be wasted.

*Altair shook his head slightly at the kid who seemed more than a little distracted and was about to order his troopers to secure him somewhere he wouldn’t be hurt until the Jedi made his clumsy and clearly panicked or at least rushed appearance. He shook his head slightly and began.*”This is my Facility, and who do you think...”*his eyes widened slightly at the face he hadn’t seen since the Chaos wars some many years earlier. He narrowed his eyes to focus on the face and blinked before realizing he wasn’t wrong. It was Jair.”Jair... I didn’t know you had returned... and what do you mean evacuate... it’s just a few Sith causing trouble, if you Jedi can’t handle the situation then I’ll deploy my Shadowalkers. But you can’t just abandon this base...”*Altair seemed much older and much more battle worn and he wasn’t even sure that Jair would have remembered a younger Ronan - he was barely a teen last they were even on the same planet but the look on his face indicates that while he was moving his research to keep it from the hands of the Sith, he wouldn’t be abandoning this base, not for anything.*

Jair didn't recognize him immediately, but was able to discern that there was something very familiar about the man. But there was no time to figure that out right now. He looked around him, surveying the injured and the caretakers in the facilities, before turning back to the man who had spoken to him.
"Nobody is abandoning the base."
Jair approached the man calmly yet with a sense of urgency still apparent in his gait. There was just something so familiar about this mans voice, and his face. As he approached he lowered his voice so that not everyone would hear him, but was close enough to the man so that he would be able to. Jair nodded and motioned towards the injured, as well as noticing some younglings that were being surveyed in the medical facilities.
"But we need to get them evacuated."
He lowered his voice to a barely audible whisper;
"The Sith have a bomb in the hangar."

Altair's face grew quizzical as he watched the jedi approach him, his demeanor became more apparent and now he could tell it wasn't panic that drove the man, but a dire sense of urgency, and he was about to find out why. His grey sky eyes widened at the sound of the bomb but he kept himself composed as he reached for the wrist comm and signaled his Shadowalkers that had assembled on the planet for Darius' funeral.*
::All Shadowalkers to the hanger - defend the cargo and secure the evacuation - i'll be joining you shortly::
*He then turned to the trooper next to him and whispered.*"You're in charge of the evac Cane... get Awen and the wounded out of here, I'll send the rest of the troopers to secure your retreat. And send someone to the General's old quarters... and find Paradigm, she's around here somewhere. Tell her to get Zendora to the Star Razor"*He looked back at Jair and nodded slowly lowering his voice.*"Gadriel always told me if this place was to fall there were things in the Archives he secured that couldn't be discovered... it was years ago but im sure those secret chambers are still there, if anyone could find a Jedi'ss secrets it would be another Jedi.... you should check it out, if you have the time. I must be going... Good to see you again."
*He raised a hand to Jair's shoulder and gave the Jedi a reassuring squeeze of support before his pulled his disruptor from its holster and lead the remainder of his troopers from the Medical bay towards the Hanger - his face mask sprouting from his armor and covering his features leaving only his dark dreadlocks visible.

Jair blinked and then shook his head in warning as he held his hand up in pause as the man turned to leave.
"Wait... there are too many of them in the hangar. There is a ship waiting outside the balcony. It should be large enough to fit everyone inside it. I highly reccomend securing the evacuation in that direction. We have a clear path that way..."
Jair paused for a moment, the mention of the famed Bothan master bore a short wave of sentimentality to it. He reassured the man.
"I will do my best to save and recover as much as I can from the archives, as soon as we can get the evacuation under way. Let us all hope for a safe return."
As the man headed off, it dawned on Jair why he seemed so familiar. "Ronan?" It had been quite a while since they had last seen each other. As much as the Jedi wished he could catch up with him, there was no time. He began to direct any stragglers up towards the balcony where a ship waited for them. He hoped that Ronan would redirect his men in that direction as well, for there was no way they could effectively use the hangar right now.
After he finished directing the remainder of those left in the wing towards the balcony, Jair headed quickly and quietly over to the archives.

Mark looked around him as the Jedi left to go to the archives. The room was empty, so why did he feel like he was still being watched? Shaking his head, he followed the last remainder of evacuees out of the medical facilities and headed towards the balcony. Whatever it was, it was probably a fluke. Besides surely it, if it was an it, that is, couldn't follow him where he was going... or so he thought.
