<<I don't know, Elly. But whatever it is, we earned it.>> She closed her eyes and nodded, even though the only person who would see her would be the guard stationed to keep an eye on her. She didn't know what he would think of her silent gestures, and frankly, she didn't really care.<<I know. We messed up...>>Her eyes opened again, this time looking on the ceiling, the perfect spot to focus on when one is having an emotional moment and regretting one's past actions.<<We messed up bad.>>

<<Yeah. And whose fault do you think that is?>> And just like that, the emotional moment was over. Her eyes hardened at the implied accusation, seven years of defense mechanisms and closing her heart reverting her to Alena Karso.<<You can't possibly be blaming me, Caoimhin.>>Her tone spoke volumes more than her silent words..

<<Do I have to spell it out? You chose this life. I didn't. You did this.>> <<You wouldn't understand. What I did needed to be done. But what you did..>>Her hands tightened into loose fists.<<You're a murderer, Caoimhin.>>

<<And you're a liar and a thief. I did what I did in that bar to keep you alive. Funny, though, I didn't even know that you were..>> She laughed, a dark noise that sounded ugly coming from her throat. The guard turned slightly, but his reaction went unnoticed once again.<<Oh, is that what this is about?>>She shook her head.<<I told you, it needed to be done. You want a reason? Ask Na'an. She forced this on us all.>>

<<No. You leave her out of this. This is between you and me, Eliana Shira Shan. Not her.>><<YOU. LEFT. ME.>>His left hand shot out, slamming into the wall of his cell. The duracrete cracked slightly, the thud no doubt reverberating through the area. His breathing was heavy, he was shaking, but it felt so good and so right to let this out. Though there was a base between them, she could feel the punch to the wall like they were in the same room. Part of her felt it on herself, though whether that was through his intentions or just psychological, she couldn't really say. For all she had justified her own decisions, for all she had used the necessity of her exile to get past her emotions, she had stopped thinking about how everyone else she had known would have been feeling. And, with her separation from everyone, she hadn't ever had a reminder. They had slowly faded into the distance.
But seeing Cao like this.. All because of her..
It brought it back home. Hard.<<I.. Oh gods..>>Her fists stayed clenched, only now they were doing so to help her keep control.<<I'm so sorry..>>

<<I don't care.>>Once more, the emotion had subsided to leave just a coldness in his sense.<<You weren't sorry then. Why would you be sorry now?>> Of all the responses she had expected.. That wasn't one of them.<<You don't.. care?>>
She didn't have anything else to say to that. For all their differences over the year, Cao had always loved and protected her to a fault.. And now he didn't care for her apology?

<<You didn't. Goodbye, Elly.>> <<Cao, wait...>>There was no response.<<Cao?>>Somehow, she could feel her thoughts hitting a wall. He couldn't hide his presence, but he seemed to be deliberately blocking her somehow..
Her gaze fell, in more than just direction. She had messed things up, really bad, and she didn't see how she was going to get herself out of this one.Maybe I shouldn't.

*Iella led Kent into the medical wing of the base, with the intention to get the teen's burns treated. She was honestly feeling a little guilty now for letting this happen, which made her all the more eager to get Kent fixed up.
Fortunately, Iella knew how to treat these sorts of injuries, having done so many times in the past. It was a simple matter of finding the proper items and then following the proper steps.*"Hold still." *She started with the wound on Kent's cheek.*

THe teen sat still. Her mind replaying the events in the training room in perfect detail, only wincing occasionally while she was patched up. She was able to slow it all down and think about what was going through her mind. That was what had her rethinking everything. Nothing went through her mind, she just acted. No extra thought, no planning, no reasoning, just action.
She hopped Na'an or Adelle didn't come in to see her like this. She could only guess that they would be mad. They leave her alone for a short amount of time and she ends up back in the medical center.

*Iella was soon finished patching Kent up. Despite looking serious, the burns weren't terrible and she was sure they would heal nicely.*"All right that should do it. Feel any better?"

The Bacta was doing what it did. The burnt tissue was being replaced by new healthy flesh. It still hurt and there was still some discoloration, but it was unlikely that it would leave a scar. The girl nodded to Iella. It was better, but her mind was still focused on the situation. Not thinking, just acting. Letting something other than her head guide her actions was a totally foreign concept to her. Her face didn't looked pained, but it showed something very rare for a girl like Kent. It looked perplexed.

Letting something other than her head guide her actions was a totally foreign concept to her. Her face didn't looked pained, but it showed something very rare for a girl like Kent. It looked perplexed. The device on the table next to her kept the Force around her from becoming overwhelming. What it did not do, however, was block it out entirely like most of her old tech did. So the bright presence at the peripheral of her senses did not go unnoticed. She turned her head to the side, blowing a stray strand of crimson hair out of her face. Unfortunately, that was going to be something else she was going to have to get used to, what with being in shackles on her bed.
Her eyes tracked the young girl as she was brought in with a healer. A tiny smile tugged at the corner of her mouth; this was the street rat from Nar Shaddaa. And with her Force shield gone, Elly could definitively confirm what she had suspected all along: the Force was strong in this girl."It's Kent, isn't it?" They had never been introduced, but the street rat's name was still known to the technicolour crime lord."You look like how I feel."

It looked perplexed. *Iella noticed that Kent hadn't spoken a word since arriving in the medical bay, and a quick scan of her expression confirmed that the girl was still trying to piece together what had happened in the training room. Not surprising, but now that left the question of how exactly to explain to her what had happened...
She turned when another voice spoke up, addressing Kent. Laying there on the bed was a woman with hair that was red on one side and blue on the other, with blue and green stripes on the side. Certainly an odd style, to be sure, but what really stood out were the shackles that held her down. Was she some kind of criminal? And how did she know who Kent was? Maybe the girl knew who this stranger was.
She turned back to Kent.*"Er...friend of yours?"

They had never met really or spoken, but Kent knew who this person was. A terror gripped her gut. This was the person who had taken away from Kent what she prized most, temporarily yes but she had taken it away. Terror and panic set in. Again Kent was ousideherswelf watching, like she had been in the training room blocking the shots. Her hand raised and pointed at Eliana. The Force surged through her, hitting the bound woman and bed full blast. The bolts holding it to the floor strained and gave way, flipping the bed on its side. The Force responded they way it always had for her, it did what she thought she needed to be safe. It wasn't going for a kill, in the part of her mind that still had control over her, she did what she had too. Looking apart from her, she could hear a scream the entire time, it wasnt untill the bed settled that she realized it was coming from her.

*Kent's reaction to the strange woman shackled to the bed was most definitely not what Iella had expected. Before she could do or say anything, Kent was screaming and suddenly there was a surge in the Force as the bed was sent toppling onto its side. Iella bolted to Kent's side and grabbed the teen's shoulders, trying to snap her out of whatever had gripped her.*"Kent! What the hell are you doing!?" *More importantly, why had she had such a violent reaction to the stranger on the bed?*

One moment, she was talking to the street rat from Nar Shaddaa. The next, she was on her side in an overturned bed, the Force assailing both her body and her mind. The table next to her containing the crystal device was shoved and knocked aside, the device falling to the floor.. Luckily, it didn't break. But its journey took it far enough away from Elly that she could feel more than she was comfortable with..
She closed her eyes. She had, very briefly, been trained on Force control, in preparation for the day she had known would eventually come, ever since time had been rewritten. So instead of allowing this small Force awareness to overwhelm her, she let it surround her..
And her hand slammed onto the bed, a gesture to dictate the wild Force push she sent towards Kent: a hopeful distraction to stop her attack.
This is what I get...

Eliana's return shove was enough to make the untrained teen stumble backwards. She was still two selves really, the side that was in charge of the Force was building up another push, and her mind took control of her mouth and words. She screamed. Last time i was around her she tried to kill me! My head, she messed up my head! Not with fists but with her mind! She got inside mine and nearly took it from me! Not again! Never Again!

"I did no such thing!"
Fortunately the push was enough to distract Kent from continuing her assault. That gave Elly enough time to try to hop the bed closer to the Force reducer.
"I haven't even properly met you yet, Kent! When did I ever attack you??"

You tore into my head when we got here in the hanger! You made me forget! You tried to take my brain away from me! No one else felt the effects like I did! YOu had to have been focusing on me! Well you won't get the chance to finish the job. I won't kill you but i will make sure you won't hurt me! She extends her hand, planning on shoving the now toppled bed with Eliana still attached to it into the wall. The force of the impact should be enough to knock her out. She prepares to send the push...

*Iella had seen enough, and she quickly moved in between the two of them, her hand raised.*"All right that's enough! Kent, you have to stop this!" *She hated situations like this, where it became a "he said, she said" kind of argument. But there was no chance of getting to the bottom of this if everyone was throwing Force pushes at each other.*
