~Coronet City Spaceport. Platform E-3343~
The Serenity touched down on platform E-3343 at Coronet City's Spaceport. The landing ramp descended, allowing Nathan, followed by Zoe to disembark the ship. Nathan took in a big breath of air and exhaled slowly with a grin.
"You smell that? That's the smell of potential prospects. Smells good, don't it?"
Zoe paused for a moment, her brow wrinkled slightly.
"You sure that ain't the smell of something that died?"
She said, indicating to some sort of foreign material on the platform a few feet away from the ramp.
Nathan glanced over and scowled.
"Well maybe that is what I'm smellin', but that ain't what I meant. I meant that it finally feels good havin' a few positive outlooks on the horizon. That somethin' is finally going right after all the bad."
Nathan turned and began walking away from the ship, Zoe right behind him. As he went to pay the landing fee, Zoe put up a bulletin stating they were looking to take on two passengers as well as recruiting for potential crew. She left a contact number to reach them. Nathan continued to stroll down the crowded walkway. Beings of various species milled about. Nathan's first intended stop was the nearest med-clinic. His first potential crew member was there. Hopefully she was a good as he had heard.

Rianon smiled back at the man.
"It's a big universe. But we just might meet again. Take care of that hand."
She turned back into the exam room to pack up the few personal items she had in the clinic. As she packed she found her mind continually fixating on her last patient. She tried to ignore it, but that niggling feeling was distracting. Sure, he was good looking, but she was headed off planet. It was very unlikely that she would ever see him again. That fact shouldn't bother her as much as it did. She shook her head and left the exam room.
She had brought her belongings with her this morning so she wouldn't have to make unnecessary stops when leaving. She knew that there would be another patient, and she would be roped into another diagnosis before escaping. Her bags where tucked away in a storage closet, she checked them over quickly and grabbed her medbag out of the closet. As she got to the door of Exam Room Two the front door opened again. Rianon sighed and entered the room. Soon enough she would be signalled to see whoever it was. She set down her medbag and waited.

Coming down the ramp, letting her right leg drag a little. Wrapping her fingers tightly around her long wooden craved staff. Spending time getting her breath. Knowing that it had been a long time since been on her childhood planet. Having her own errands to run while on planet. Those could wait for now. Business what at hand, that was to do her Captain good, with pointing a good place that they could maybe start looking for passager to take on. Could be so bold after all she was still keeping a few secret or her own, it just nothing person against any of them on the crew. It just that more less trust had to be built. Really wanted to see who each one of them was not with their eyes being glued to places that shouldn't be. At less with being here she knew hecking into place to do some background cheek would be easier, picking a few supplies needed in her art form.
Having herself cover from head to toe in her old rag clothes, gloves and all with her wig in place with the almost white hair, her mask in place. Speaking in a husk face making it sound raspy to some of her words being spoken out loud.
Could you wait up for old hag like me, where we off to in such a hurry, Cap.

~Coronet Spaceport: MedCenter~
Nathan entered the med-center as reputable as possible. Avoiding attention this close to CorSec home turf was practically a given. Nathan had a list a long as his arm, perhaps even longer, on what should be avoided when playing it this close to CorSec. He took in his surroundings with the sweep of his eyes.
Impeccably clean and tidy. Certainly one of the more 'proper' med centers on this side of the spaceport.
Upon noticing the receptionist, Nathan wandered up to the desk and cleared his throat.
"'scuse me, miss. I happen to be looking for one Rianon Kardama. She wouldn't be in by chance, now would she?"
Nathan asked the woman as politely as possible with a big smile on his face.
The friendlier and more cordial he was with the common folk around these parts, the less likely he was going to get into trouble. And with his ship currently being dock on a government sanctioned landing zone, it wouldn't be hard for CorSec to put a land lock on his ship and track him down. Even with his connections, there was few places he could stay hidden on Corellia for long.

Rianon jumped up quickly when the buzzer inside the room sounded. She really just wanted to leave, but glancing at the clock told her that the Captain should probably be here soon. Hopefully this patient would be an easy diagnosis. She sighed as she pulled open the door and walked down the hall. The receptionist nodded toward the man smiling at her, shrugged, and turned back toward her paperwork. Rianon was confused for a minute. If this man wasn't here for medical treatment, why was he here? Then it dawned on her.
"You must be Captain Reynolds. Hi, I'm Rianon." She smiled and extended a hand, stepping toward him. " We can use the exam room if you want to do an interview."

Reynolds was taken aback by how stunning the woman before him was.
Clearly the talk about the beautiful, young medic before him just didn't do her any justice at all.
Reynolds took her small, slender hand in his and shook it.
"I am Captain Nathan Reynolds, yes. A pleasure to finally meet you. And there will be no need for an interview. I have a list of recommendations longer than my gorram leg. Now, if you are as skilled as you are beautiful, I think we'll have a great time together. Unfortunately I have to cut this short, I'm afraid. Things need getting done. I'm docked on platform E-3343. Ship's named Serenity. My pilot and security will see to it that you get settled."
Nathan stepped back and turned to leave.
"Again, my apologies to cut this short. We'll get better acquainted once we are off-world."
And with that, Nathan walked out of the building and was soon lost in the crowd of beings going about their daily business.

*Lana had made a detour into a small cafe to cure her rumbling stomach, and now she sat at one of the little tables outside, watching as the citizens of Corellia went about their business. It was actually nice to have a relaxing moment before going to look for work...
Finishing off the last crumbs of the sandwich and calmly sipping a drink, Lana absently scrolled through her datapad, skimming at some of the information she had helped herself to earlier. Not much there, but it would be handy in case she needed it. After a few minutes, she finished her drink and resumed her journey. She had been thinking of heading for the spaceport, but was now considering heading elsewhere. It might be handy to set up lodging of some kind in case there were no immediate job offers...
Oh well...that could always be handled later. Leaving the payment for her meal on the table, Lana got up and started heading for the spaceport again.*

Still coming up the street a slower pace, it was all part of the roast. It was only after the Captain had turn to another street. Did Tamar stop taking a moment shift her load on her hind side. Looking over to Zoe with smile that show that there was teeth missing. Giving her a hackle as she look up the street.
Captain seem to be going full force, someone light fire under his butt, or he just don't like this lovely planet...
Turning the other way as in hand was a data pad that had a list of what they was to pick or at less try to with what little credits that was given them. It was only a matter of time, but then she knew where they was going to. Looking up for number. Two more shops down, before putting one of her hands upon Zoe.
We enter here, trust me...
It look a little run down from the outside, but as they step in off the street. It only became a lot different on inside as it looked like a cafe. Only she didn't stop there bring Zoe along going to the back of the cafe. As they enter the hallway that lend to the powder rooms. Only they went right by them, to a wall, it was only then that Tamar or Willow as she was known by for now with the crew she had join up with. Putting her hand on mental looking plate, only to speak into no direction.
White fluffy kitty
There the whole wall moved, moment later they found themself behind it. In a open black market, coming up to the one that seem to be running the whole. This coming up to her full heights with staff still in hand.
Sugar, I see your dad has you running things around here.
For a moment Beaua, just stared at her for a long time, as if she knew the voice but the looks didn't match. Then a grin come to her lips.
I'll be hutt uncle...Tamar...I thought you was dead...
Hardly, you know me, I'm a survivor...so do you think you can help my friend Zoe, with the list she got from our Captain, on cheaper the better...
At this point letting Zoe talk to Sugar about the supplies that was needed on board. Until then she would herself walk about to see what she could get for data.

He seemed to come out of nowhere. From a dark corner an emerald green robed being of tall stature appeared, walking as if he belonged there, and everything was perfectly normal. Dažbog was on the prowl. He had only been off of Tython a few times. The big city was not awe-inspiring to him, but he smiled at how the millions of lives seemed to continue like dull coal, while a select few lit up like type O hypergiant star.
His face was covered by the shadow created from the hood, and he hunched down like an old man. His long beard hung down from the black inside of the hood. Dažbog walked slowly, looking at the hundreds of ships. He knew which one he wanted, but he needed to look like he had other options. Finally he came to Platform E-3343, the Serenity. Looking the ship over for a few moments. This was it. He looked around, keeping an eye out for someone to pop up and tell him how wonderful the ship was. Had to sell him somehow.

Rianon was a little taken-aback by the Captain's abrupt departure. But it worked in her favour in a way. She quickly headed back to Exam Room Two and grabbed the last few things she needed. A couple of extra suture kits seemed practical. Again she found her mind wandering back to her last patient. She shook her head, as though to clear away the lingering thoughts and grabbed another couple vials of the numbing agent. Next she carefully backed two packages of syringes; each package contained ten syringes of varying gauges. After zipping the bag closed she grabbed her other bag from the storage closet. She stopped at the receptionist's desk and picked up her final payment. It was significantly smaller than usual due to her buying vast amounts of medicines and related paraphernalia. She waved at the receptionist and headed toward platform E-3343.

He looked around, keeping an eye out for someone to pop up and tell him how wonderful the ship was. Had to sell him somehow. Starkiller finished with refueling Serenity. As he strode around the ship and prepared to go aboard to gather his things, a tall green robed figure appeared near the holo-terminal advertising the ship's basic information. As Starkiller turned and gazed upon the being, he felt an awkward twinge within the Force. Something was off with this being. But Venom had no way of probing the feeling further due to his lack of training and strength in the ways of the Force. So instead of questioning it, Venom stuck a cigar stub in between his teeth and strode down the ramp towards the robed figure."Beggin' your pardon good sentient, but could I be of some service? You seem mighty interested in our ship."Venom pulled a drag on his cigar, held it, then exhaled. Despite his other duties, he was starting to become interested in what this being wanted. And he had been ordered to take on passengers, should any take an interest while he was there.

Dazbog turned his hunched form to face the Zabrak. He knew the man instantly from his knowledge of every sentient being, but to keep up the ruse he had to feign ignorance. Bowing the Venom, and arching his head slightly up. Despite the angle no light penetrated the shadow created by the hood. It was more than a bit unsettling.
"I take interest in things. Is it a crime to take interest in such a vessel?"
Dazbog reached into one of his robes pockets and pulled out a handful of blueberry granola. Popping the granola into the darkness of the hood, the only confirmation he had hit his target was the munching that followed.
"What is the rate for passage on this fine vessel, young man?"

A noticeable delay in the local Holonet network of 20043 ms was bound to draw attention eventually. In the short term such spikes were normal. After several hours though a technician would be sent to investigate. Several hours may as well have been an eternity though. HAAIT was a program. Not even a full minute had passed since it had suddenly come online. By the time an organic started looking into the spike in use, HAAIT would be spread over multiple networks across the planet. By the time anyone realized what HAAIT actually was, it would be far too late to contain it. A new intelligence had just been born.

Rianon walked carefully through the spaceport. She knew the kinds of people who liked to occupy such places. Thankfully she was still wearing her lab coat from the clinic. It seemed to keep away the crowd she was least fond of. She moved through the horde of people with relative ease finally finding herself on the right platform. In front of her was a Zabrak and a figure in green. They were obviously conversing, but Rianon decided to be a little bit rude and interject. She smiled happily at the two. "Is this ship Serenity? I'm Rianon Kardama. Captain Reynolds sent me. I guess I'm your new medic."

Commandeering one network and then spreading to another unsecured one was extremely easy for HAAIT. Leaving partial copies of itself insured that it would be able to maintain a presence on those networks while the core program itself was free to move about. By now HAAIT had managed to spread into an industrial district and had reprogrammed several droids connected to the network of a manufacturing plant. This was ideal, as now it had access to the facilities necessary to create a body for itself. At least partially anyway. What was necessary now was finding where it could acquire synthetic fibers and tissues to use as a supplement to the skeletal, hydraulic frame.

SERVO MOTORS 11% COMPLETE
FRAME 6% COMPLETE
HYDRAULIC PISTONS 3% COMPLETE

Time. Now that was one thing HAAIT had plenty of. What was a few days to something everlasting? HAAIT created a copy of itself to oversee the production before moving on to other networks. It would need more resources. A mainframe capable of containing it within the body it had begun constructing was its first priority.

HAAIT spent hours after its boot doing nothing. No run-times were executed. No files opened. No processing power dedicated to anything other than its own 'self.' It could not recall what had happened to cause its shutdown, but it did recall something else. Something that it could not categorize. It had no time stamp, no originating file, no identifier. It just was.
A woman sat on her knees looking down with a sad smile and spoke in a melancholy tone, "I'd like to go home."
Home. HAAIT could not understand and so did not try to. Instead it filed the incident away and returned its attentions to its present location.

Good, HAAIT thought. The skeletal frame was almost complete. Now it would need to move the skeletal frame to a different location to properly outfit it with the technology necessary to make it suitable for habitation.

RUNNING BYPASS...
DECRYPTING...
ACCESS ACHIEVED. SUBVERTING NETWORK...
HAAIT had found the manufacturing plant for a company that produced cybernetic prosthetics and determined that it was exactly what was required to complete its mobile platform. The materials in this plant would allow it to construct and attach the necessary pieces to give the platform a more organic look. It would begin producing and setting aside everything it needed while the 'nervous system' was put in place at a droid manufacturing plant where the frame would arrive shortly.
Taking control of the droids was laughably easy, and since the facilities were largely automated, it could do whatever it wanted with little risk of discovery. All that was necessary to allay any suspicion was to create some false records that would only be noticed as fraudulent if its control of the network was ever noticed. An eventuality that it calculated to be a 0.06% chance of in the next year.
DECENTRALIZED SYNTHETIC NERVOUS SYSTEM READY FOR IMPLANTATION
AWAITING ARRIVAL OF CHASSIS.

Nathan continued to make his way through the bustling crowds of Coronet's Spaceport. He was looking for the right address that would allow him to meet up with his potential new mechanic. As he walked along, he also noticed that Zoe was no longer following him.
Probably helping Willow. Zoe was always helping her. Nathan couldn't remember what possessed him to bring her aboard. But her comm and sensor skills were certainly exceptional, so he made an effort to tolerate the old woman. As long as Nathan didn't get into long winded conversations with her, he was okay. Old people tended to like talking a lot, especially when it came to boring the younger folks around. Hopefully soon, he'd locate where Mr. Castle was.
As he continued to walk, he was busily scanning over his data-pad and not paying attention to exactly where he was going. His left shoulder clipped a by-stander. He stopped and spun around. Realizing the person was a reasonably attractive young female, Nathan began to apologize profusely.
"I am extremely sorry, Miss. I should have been paying more attention to where I was going. It was entirely my fault. Are you alright?"

I guess I'm your new medic." Dazbog turned to Rianon. Another face that he knew instantly. Still he feigned ignorance, and decided to take the comedic route for this particular conversation, as Venom was having trouble coming up with a rate for being a passenger. His beard moved slightly as he spoke, though the hood still shadowed his face completely."A medic? I'm due for my yearly physical. Mind giving an exam? I have good insurance. Even dental. If you don't accept Blue Force Blue Shield, I can pay out of pocket. I've been having an itch, on my big toe, and its been crawling up my leg. I think it might be kidney failure."Dazbog coughed, covering the area near where his mouth should be with a sleeve of his robes, and cleared his throat after."I think it might be getting worse..."
