*Dutch turned his attention to the newcomer. The man introduced himself as Aerandir Calmcacil, a Jedi Master and the head of this base. Despite still recovering from the surgery, Dutch slowly got to his feet and instinctively gave the man a salute.* "No sir. You're not interrupting anything." *He realized what he was doing and hesitantly lowered his hand.* "Sorry, sir. I'm alright...physically anyway. Still processing the past day."

*Aerandir assessed them quietly and with compassion, admittedly absolutely uncertain how to properly empathize with them. Emerging from another time period entirely was not unheard of, though it usually involved suspended animation. The clones, however, seemed to have all their faculties in perfect operation—apart from the disorientation, of course.*
"I can imagine," *he said, speaking gently.* "What are your names, and is there anything I can do for you?"

*Dutch was in no way force sensitive, but he could almost feel a calmness radiate from the Jedi Master.* "I am Dutch. This is Spade and Crash." *The second question made him pause. There were lots of things he needed. Mainly answers to all the questions buzzing inside his head, but those would have to wait for now.* "Not at the moment sir. My men are still salvaging the ship we crashed in. After that...I'm not sure. We really weren't prepared for..this. My brothers and I were trained for combat, we need a purpose." *He rubbed the back of his neck for a second while he thought.* "You said you were the head if this facility. Then is it possible for you and your council to give us guidance?"

Awen's smiled turned more exceedingly more joyful when she noticed Aerandir moving through the checkpoints and making his way towards them. Dutch had been recovering and it was only a matter of time before the rest of them would be doing to the same.
"Aerandir!"Awen called out in her musical voice, raising a hand to cover her eyes and lowering her head slightly - an action that was something akin to a bow distinct among her people."I am sorry I have not come to see you, I've been kept busy as you can see, and I am about to be even more busy."
Awen moved aside and let the Jedi Master and the dated clone trooper talk, continuing to monitor Dutch the entire time, but her eyes also moved to the other two clones, watching them for any sign of agitation - since their chips had not been removed yet. It was doubtful they would, from what she had read during the recovery time the chip malfunction was a singular incident that was fixed, and the order given to exterminate the Jedi was a separate incident all together - and the chip simply did not allow them to refuse. Still Awen was a little nervous for Aerandir - not that she would ever show it.
"Dutch, If you will I will take Spade and Crash and prep them for Surgery? I see no need for you all to remain here, the rest of your men can be brought into the medical wing - With Aerandir's permission of course."
She gave the Jedi Master a bright smile, knowing how he liked to be called by his name and not his title - she had learned to respect that in Jedi... Gadriel was the same way.

*Aerandir gave a respectful nod to Awen and a simple reply of,* "That's fine by me," *when inquired about use of the medical facilities. His eyes remained upon Dutch, however, when he asked for guidance. Of course, there was the Galactic Alliance military as potential fit for them, but the human side of him didn't wish to simply thrust them into military service, especially an unfamiliar one.*
"I'm not sure how well you've been brought up to speed," *he said at last,* "but my first suggestion would be to acclimate yourselves to the galaxy as it is, as best as possible. I'm willing to help with that in any way possible. But, should you and your men be willing, I definitely know where your talents could be best useful."

*Dutch gave a nod to Awen, indicating that she was free to take Spade and Crash. His attention turned back to Aerandir when he gave his advice.* "We've been brought up to current events. A very brief course actually. Once we get everyone away from the Acclamator, then I'm going to have a major history study. We've...missed a lot."
*As much as Dutch didn't want to bring it up, he was going to have to clear the air at some point.* "We did learn about what happened at the end of the Clone Wars. What my brothers did. I just wanted to say that I'm..sorry."

"Don't be." *The response was automatic, as well as reassuring.* "The blame doesn't rest with you, nor your brothers. It was an orchestration of a higher, darker power..." *Cracking a smile, he added,* "Besides, I'd say things worked out in the end." *"Or as best as they could've," he thought. Gesturing towards the exit, he said,* "I hardly think you need to be cooped up in here any longer, especially when you need to tend to your men. Mind if I join you?"

*Dutch almost breathed a sigh of relief at Aerandir's response. As for things working out, maybe for some but Dutch was still wondering what happened to his Jedi General.* "I guess we were lucky." *He gave a small nod when he was given permission to check on his men. Gathering his helmet, he followed after the Jedi Master.* "I wouldn't mind the company actually."

*Nodding, he began to lead the way out of the detention cells, asking,* "Have your men made it all safely back from the crash site yet or do they still require extraction?"

As Awen moved Spade and Crash out through the security checkpoints and across the the base towards the Medical wing - where the remaining Clone soldiers would be operated upon now that the Jedi Master had cleared them and granted them leave of the Base. Patch moved towards the Master at the question - even though it was not directed towards him with Dutch being in surgery for the last several hours he wouldn't have heard all of the updates.
"Excuse me Master, the teams are still combing over the wreckage, but its believed that all the wounded have been recovered and a full tally of the fallen is now being processed - the wounded were taken to the Medical wing, the rest... nearly 8000, are outside the base walls, a temporary camp has been erected for them until they can all be moved... I am about to return to the the Hanger to oversee the rest of the salvage team myself - with your leave, sir?"

*At least there was some positive news for him to wake up to. He would need to over see some of these operations himself. A lot of them men sitting outside still had no idea what was going on.* "I'll have to check on them myself here soon enough, even the Javelin. Then figure things out from there."

"By all means, and I'll see to it you get a couple more hands to aid you as well." *He glanced at Awen and nodded.* "I'm not particularly concerned about a decades-old order suddenly activating, but would understand if the rest of your men wish to have those pesky things removed as well." *Looking back at Dutch, he asked,* "Where will you go first?"

Jez, Stitch and D'lyse 'escorted' their prisoner past the security checkpoints and into one of the isolated force cells below the surface of the detention center. Shadow was not a particularly strong force sensitive, but he had skills that made him impossible to keep hold of in general population. Jez and Stitch seemed on edge but D'lyse only seemed irritated, anger perhaps... but outwordly, perfectly calm. After Shadow was secured his restraints and his gag was removed and Jez and Stitch stepped out of the cell just before the ray shields collapsed trapping him. D'lyse waved his hand and after a moments hesitation from the other two, and a very stern look from their commander they two commandos nodded and returned the way they had come leaving D'lyse and Shadow alone.
Shadow had not even looked up - his wounds from the battle on Jabiim had been looked after on the hyperspace ride here and he had recovered quickly enough, at least from the physical damage done during the failed rebellion in Choal. He had been kept in isolation and Altair had ordered no one to speak with him - Shadow knew the routine, he knew what he had done, and what it had cost him... what it would continue to cost him. D'lyse stood before the cell looking down at the Shadowalker, a mixed look of disappointment, dismay, anger, and confusion written across his face kept from view by the yellow painted helm he wore. They two of them stood there in silence for several moments before finally D'lyse spoke, breaking the silence as well as Altair's gag order.
"How did he die, Marius?"
*Shadow hesitated, not expecting to be addressed by anyone but Altair. Had he known he would be furious, but D'lyse was different... if Altair had not stepped up command would have fallen to D'lyse as the leader of Gadriel's Army. The Shadowalker raised his eyes to meet the stoic visor of the clone commander before him. There was a mixed array of feelings in his eyes, all of them kept from going much further. This was the first conversation he had had with a friendly in close to three years. The deep cover he had been in on Jabiim preceding the rebellion had kept him from speaking to anyone, even Darius. Regardless he could not bring himself to speak and simply lowered his head again remaining silent. The silence held for a long time following that painful moment, regardless of the mask he could tell the mood D'lyse was in, nothing good would have come of that conversation. The next time he summoned the strength to look up, D'lyse was gone.*

Shadow had barely moved for days. Altair had brought him here yet had not come to debrief... no... interrogate him yet. He had refused all food and drank only enough to stay alive, but even that left him with terrible dehydration headaches and he was unable to sleep - no doubt Altair's plan - to let him sit and think a spell, interrogation tactics that worked on even the strongest of minds and bodies - and his was no exception. He had begun to lose track of time after the third or fourth day, and he had begun counting the time in his head simply to help it pass easier.
He had marked another day and a half before he felt it. First it was a sound like a hurricane from the North, and then the air went stale and cold - a chill passed straight through his bones and he couldn't help but be reminded of Jabiim... the cold dark wet planet where his entire life had changed - where he had lost his brother to the hand of that Monster - Viox Savage - little more than a tool of the First Order. He raised himself to his feet and banged his hands against the shielding that kept him contained yelling as loud as he could manage after so many days of perfect silence. "They're Coming! The Savage of Jabiim is coming! LET ME OUT!"

While the Jedi Forces concentrated their main efforts on the entrance way, the sithspawn Vornskr unleashed upon the base by Ifrit swarmed through the corridors of the Jedi Base. Though relatively small in overall numbers, they could cause a great deal of chaos if they attacked the right points. While one group headed straight for the reactors of the base, other groups struck at the cable runs with their bone claws. Hoping to cause power failures throughout the base. But they were not entirely unopposed, as Jedi Temple Guardians and Masters defended the base at various points. Cutting the numbers of the vornskrs steadily down in size

Shadow was nervously pacing back and forth within his Force Sensitive containment sell when he felt more than saw the power fluctuations. He could hear explosions and screams of battle even from here... where he was helpless, listening to his brothers fight and die without him. The detention center was one of the last places he expected the battle to come to and yet he felt the power failure effecting this unit of the base as well. He couldn't feel anything - trapped here as he was, but he kept his eyes open for anything moving through the corridors...
