The female had to look up at the Duros. She had met his kind before and knew not to take the eyes as an indication of the beings capacity to feel or express warmth. Smiling, she gave a salute to the Admiral. Her's was an interesting one, being both a captain in the Navy and a minister in the government, lead to some odd chain of command flowcharts where she was involved. After holding the salute for a moment she let it down and stepped forward holding out a hand for him to shake.
=Lynne= Doctor Lynne Jameroo, at your service. Admiral. I am so happy to finally meet you. May patients from your command speak very highly of you.
She could feel his eyes examining her, trying to read the kind of person she was. Lynne gave a knowing smile in response before continuing to reply to his last statement.
=Lynne= When I was bringing your personnel back here, they were so excited to be going home. That's what they said, 'Home.' And that has made my job all the harder. Now I have to compete with you, Admiral, which seems to be no small task. She begins to pace in front of the Duros. After the success that has been seen from Talus, many more member worlds are joining my initiative to build cities for the displaced. And I assure you, I have taken everything into account. I have not thrown together some Imperial prefab base. No, whole apartment blocks are built to cater to the needs of even our most exotic refugees. Some can even be depressurized for our Givin population, and not even to mention the spacious pools for our amphibious comrades. Because it is our diversity and unity that makes the Coalition strong. I hope that has satisfied you, or would you like to tour one of our new cities? She stops, still offering a friendly smile to the Admiral.

"I'm glad, I just did what I must. My first duty is towards people, that's why I keep fighting"
Said the admiral, chain raised.
"Such a level of commitment is unheard of, mostly, they throw refugees into concrete barracks. Cold and sterile. The life conditions aren't too good for some species. I'm thankful for such a dedication, doctor, and I trust your word on the settlements, worry not"
He puts both hands on belt.
"I have many MonCal and Quarren who have offered themselves to serve in the fleet, many were previously officers, either in their planetary forces or for the Republic. Many of them have families, families that you're in charge of relocating: they will fight better and find peace of mind if they're properly taken care of. I hope these settlements are well supplied as well, I often seen the inadequacy of such newly-made populations"
The admiral looks at the doctor again.
"We also have data on most the refugees' professions and skills, they will seriously bolster the manpower of the Coallition: you got engineers, astrophysics, comercial pilots, mechanics... but also, something invaluable, historians, poets, musicians, writers... Try to make the proper contacts so they find a job according to their trajectories, we don't want a senior researcher in galactic History working as a waiter in a greasy bar"

Nodding in agreement, Lynne replies.
=Lynne= Yes, of course. I have a team already looking over individual's past experiences as we work to find them the best fit possible. I have always prided myself on being a doctor first, captain and politician second. I am squeezing every resource available to me to ensure when our soldiers and crews come home, they will have a happy one. And with you joining us, I have a good feeling that that day will come sooner rather than later.

"That's a relief, usually one of the roles eclipses the others, as they can be obstrusive; a politician might not be a good doctor. But you're seemingly handling it pretty well"
Said the admiral.
"Me and my crew receive your compliments very and truly gladly, doctor. By the way, we do have a medical frigate, which is being retrofitted with schematics provided by Corellian technicians. But, we could probably have use for your own, as well, shall the need arises, because two of such ships could be invaluable and your expertise in combat medicine would come in handy, specially with liberated planets"

Lynne nodded and smiled.
=Lynne= It's not easy juggling all my responsibilities, but thank you. And never worry, Admiral, I'm always close to the front-lines. And I'm working on expanding the medical capabilities of my fleet, to better serve our navy and any planets we liberate.

"Good. I will gladly fight by your side, doctor"
Said the admiral, stern.
"I don't wish to entertain and steal more time from you, Lynne Jameroo. I also have to make a new ship to be ready for combat and that will take time. I wish we can meet up soon and we will stay in contact over the refugees"

Lynne snapped another quick salute and gave a short response before leaving.
=Lynne= Of course, Admiral. Once they are settled in I will forward you their contact information so that you may check on them when you wish. I'm sure they'd love to here from you too!
Lynne then made her way back down to the ship that had brought her over and was quickly returned to her to her office.

Two Raider-class Corvettes made their way out of the Corellia's atmosphere and began their trek away from the planet. Newly built, they had been crafted for a single goal: patrolling the system around Froz. With the crew gathered crews, everything was set for their mission. Once they were free of the planet's gravity well, the Allegiant and the Ardent disappeared into the realms of hyperspace.

Having left the Outer Rim barely, the sight of a Lucrehulk-class Battleship would bless Corellia with the return of Linuy Findos. Explaining the situation immidiately to the local harbour command by contacting them straight away, shields down, the mobile battlestation on a tradeship frame would seek its place above the planet in order to restock supplies and repair caused hull damage during more recent combat with Separatist remnants. Senator Findos would eventually leave her own ship with a shuttle in order to land at the docks, allowing Captain Hatoo command over the vessel, which was known as the Aglais. The mission, which she had started was a full success. The organization of the ship and what it contained would probably be postponed to another day, as there was still a lot of planning ahead, yet Senator Findos was certain that acquiring this colossal command ship would prove vital within future engagements against the enemy, the Neimoidian swore to torn down in order to free her homeplanet from their grasp: The First Order.

There was a sudden fuss in the docks when an armed escort appeared. Guards wearing newly-issued CC military uniforms, navy troopers. Of them four, one was a MonCal, while another was a Bith and the other two were Humans. They were likely acting as bodyguards of a solemn-faced, stern duros, a lanky one wearing the badge of admiral. He stood in the way of Linuy Findos.
"I am sorry for the lack of a proper welcome, senator. Let me introduce myself, I am Renzo Ostrenis, admiral of the Corelian Coalition. You might have seen my flagship, the Oathkeeper, on your way to the docks"
Indeed, the Star Destroyer had been on duty guarding the capital system of the Coalition. The Duro eyed his Neimodian cousin emotionlessly, hands clasped behind his back. He wore the standard military uniform befiting an admiral, but compared to the guardsmen's it looked slightly older. An expert eye could guess it was actually a Galactic Alliance one, not one issued by the Corellians. Ostrenis was a stubborn one.

Having changed in the meantime of her journey into a new pair of robes and a diplomatic ploov, the senator left her ship, followed by her personal bodyguard alongside one of the B1-commando droids. Greeting the fellow senator, Findos nodded appreciating. "I might have seen it when we entered port", she replied diplomatic, "The more ships we can assemble against the First Order, the better for us and democracy. Therefore I don't mind the absence of a comitee, if we can bring forward this cause, Admiral." Noticing his uniform, she knew that he was a former member of the Galactic Alliance as well. Probably they had met before few times here and there, back at the Senate, yet it was good to meet Ostrenis here in person as another confirmed survivor.

"I have long devoted my strenght to that cause, senator"
His red-mirrored eyes stared at the young senator.
"I think you might have known my own son, senator Voon, he was an outspoken adherent of... inherent rights and personal freedom"
The said admiral's son had been part of what had been known as the Populists or the Federalists, alternatively, by their enemies and supporters.
"You both seem to be of... similar age"
Though age was hard to ascertain in members of their species.
"However, that doesn't concern us, senator. Tell me, you wish to join the Coalition, I presume?"

She pondered if he was right - certainly it might be a possibility. Thus she only nodded politely, before the Duro adressed a more important question. One which Linuy had asked herself as well for a long time. "I thought long enough about it, Admiral, and came to the conclusion that I will offer my support towards the Coalition", she then stated, "When the new Separatist movement weakened our forces by abbandoning us in our most dire hour within our fight against the First Order, it became clear that we could need every man, every ship which was still capable of supporting our movement. Then the battle of Mon Calamari came. Most of us fled and my first reaction was to fight directly at the frontlines. By taking what was rightfuly property of the Neimoidian people, surpressed by the means of the First Order." The B1 droid looked up curiously for a moment, as only a brief "Roger,Roger!" could be heard. "Yet, I don't want to go down the same path as the Grand Confederacy", she explained then, "Resistance within enemy territory will be necessary to bring down the successors of the Old Galactic Empire in order to liberate the people. Yet I won't abbandon the Coalition for my own personal agenda. Which is, why I'm here. I intend to join the Coalition."

"They were, indeed, lost in the time of our greatest grief"
Said the Duros, his eyes hardened.
"I fought for months, all on my own, after the Sacking, with an increasingly weakened fleet... hard times"
He looks at one ship being built at the shipyard, there in the horizon. The admiral looked pensive for a moment.
"...You are right, we have to gather, we have to rally. Or else, hope is dead. I'm afraid I can only forward you to our Prime Minister or Baron Gorgano, I cannot give you myself a place in our hierarchy"
He taps the badge of admiral over his chest.
"I got to keep this, so I'm sure you'll still have a role to play. If you so want, I will send technicians to review the Lucrehulk and check which systems need upgrading or repairs"

The senator agreed so far with what Ostrenis had brought forth. Thus she appreciated his offer for aid. "Gladly", she answered polite, while looking over towards the massive freighter turned battleship, "We have already reconfigured the local droid brain and the units aboard in order to avoid them getting turned against us and repairs are so far overseen by Captain Hatoo. However we appreciate any help we can get, the payment being the secondary question. It makes it easier for us. From what I have heard, I have missed a lot of events, including the annexation of Coruscant by the First Order. Tragic news to be sure..." "Coruscant... I know where Coruscant is located." Somewhat apologizing about the OOM commander's behavior, Linuy only smiled briefly before she continiued. "I'll see though that I will speak with the Prime Minister and the allies of the Coalition soon enough, Admiral Ostrenis."

"I think you will soon be counted among our ranks, senator. You soon shall sit in the Senate as representative of your people"He claps hands behind his back. "I will send my people to help you in your efforts to retrofit this ship"

Appreciating the help of the Duros Admiral, Senator Findos nodded. "There was a brief time, where I did not necessarily believed in the Senate with the end of the Galactic Alliance, Admiral, as I wish to be honest", she admitted briefly, her red eyes focusing his with solemn grief, "Yet not because of the former's failure at Dac, but rather because I feared that it would share a similiar fate on Corellia if people won't act in time to stop this growing menace. For the moment it seems that my fears are unnecessary. Yet I hope that we can strengthen the fleet with what we were able to reclaim." A brief pause followed. "It is important that I return to the Senate, as I can't give my people hopes on the battlefield alone. It is important that we fight, but I know that my duties lie elsewhere. In the end it is not solely important to free the Colonies and every other world the First Order has occupied, but as well to guide them into a new future, free from a tyranical monarchy and free from the corruption of the past. The Separatists and their failure within the Outer Rim have shown me that it needs more than just an army and military minds to liberate the galaxy from its evil."

"We belong to sister species, senator. Both Duro and Neimodia must stand united in support of this government. Albeit my son, who used to represent our system in the Galactic Senate before and during the war is, alas, absent from the system and unwilling to join us for the time being"
Said Ostrenis, with a hint of anger.
"Many like you must remain, linger in the fringes of the Galaxy, probably more than a few on the run and hiding. If hope is to be restored we must restore our democracy and extend our control over more systems, which are doubtful, on the bringe"
He thought about Bothawui, which allegiance could tip the scales.
"Anyway, I do understand your stance, senator Findos, I understand it too well"

Another time. The Corelian security forces were warned beforehand. The Oathkeeper group fleet appeared over the planet, coming from a known spacelane, the destroyer looked scarred, with part of its inmense belly torn appart and a damaged core, but the rest of the ships looked intact, save for a Corellian corvette that had to be towed to the system. But, more ships had arrived: a Dreadnought, an Inmobilizer cruiser and an Imperial frigate class II, among the military ones, and a significant numbers of transports, all of them military-grade vessels, with First Order crests emblazoned on their grey hulls, enormous bulwarks that were led to the Corellian spaceports like cattle. Ostrenis handed the captured ships to the delegated from High Command, for them to handle the procedures, while the prisoners of war were processed by the CorSec. Once the initial procedures were undertaken, he requested allowance into drydock for his ship, the Oathkeeper, that had received significant damage during battle, and also sent word to the surface to deliver his report.

After months of construction work, the newly completed ships of the 1st and 10th Coalition fleet how sat in orbit over Corellia. Ships of all shapes and sizes sat ready to deploy at a moments notice to assist worlds beset by the First Order, or even defend Corellia should any so foolishly strike at the heart of the Coalition. Fleet Admiral Carter commanded the 1st Coalition Fleet from aboard the Resurgent-class Battlecruiser known as the Redemption, while Fleet Admiral Vishreen commanded the 10th Coalition Fleet aboard the MC85 Star Cruiser (Coalition Refit) known as the Organa

Three old Dreadnoughts-class cruisers and one Immobilizer 418 arrive to Corellia's orbit -after making several jumps and traveling through hardly frequented hyperspace lanes. The local authorities, like the CorSec, had been warned beforehand through the usual channels. All had been sent by senator Voon, with skeleton crews. He offers the interdictor-cruiser as a gift to the Coalition for the support provided in the past months -he didn't have facilities to properly mantain the gravity wells, neither repair them-. On the other hand, Ostrenis-Massa requests the Dreadnought to be retrofit into the far less crew-demanding Mark I Assault Frigates: the Resistance could hardly find or afford 48,000 people to properly use the cruisers in battle. After being retrofit the frigates, all three, would only require 5,000 crew members, less than a third of the original amount. Through his codename Fulcrum, Ostrenis requests a shipment of supplies, fuel and volunteers, because there was a big operation being readied by the High Command, one that would require all the resources, supplies, ships, women and men available to the Resistance.
