Fresia was in discussions to join the Republic when the site crashed. I still believe it would be a mutually beneficial arrangement. Will, I believe I have all of our posts saved, so we could repeat the diplomatic process if you are still interested. I'll send you a PM. Plu and Will, I'm not doing much in character and would gladly assist Fresia in joining the Republic, since Will and Mike have other SL's going, unless Mike really wants to do it himself. Oh I was gonna ask if you one of you guys PC or NPC was wanting to get hunted down and captured/killed. Barclay, That bounty has been restricted to just Darma I think, or so I was told via PM. Crom'nen I think your bounty was posted by someone else, so your's is probably still active. Other wise unless you talk to TA, the guy who posted the bounty on Republic senators, I think you only get paid for me. And I am perfectly willing to RP out your hunting Darma, though he will fight back and is expecting a visit from a bounty hunter(s) any day now. Third, when will the Senate convene for its next session? Is that in the semi-distant future?(1-3 months RL) |

I have no reservation about loosing this character, so long as it's well written. He's a place holder, his existence is to fill the slot of Senator of the GR, for Rendili. Another Senator will be elected if this one is killed/captured.

Greetings, I am Dante Deveaux, Governor of Vandelhelm in the Expansion region. I have single handedly been RPing a political atmosphere on the planet, as well as trying to culture various Rp on the planet simultaneously. Politically, the planet is going to be considering joining the GR - in which I will be RPing out the various details thereof. However, I was wondering if a representative of the Republic would be interested in entering into political RP over this matter, as, of yet, the planet has not had a visitor from the Republic to base their opinions on.
This being said, the actions of this representative would VERY much influence the planets decision to join, and, depending on talks, could either facilitate or destroy relations. Again, this is more or less an offer for some good verbal sparring and matching of wits than a true political situation: if the GR is interested in having Vandelhelm join its ranks, id love to join. If not, well, I can always have the talks go badly.

Hey guys, can someone add this account to the usergroup? And yes, will there be another Senate meeting soon? I think Nidawi is around as Vice Chancellor and is technically the head of the Senate anyway. Let's call a meeting, pass resolutions allowing the admittance of the new systems, fill committee and task commissions to send out envoys to those who are also working on becoming interested in joining.

For anyone following the Mando War RP and involved in it - The Mandalorian Siege of Yavin IV begins, and the Mandalorian Holy War is reignited on new JvS. First of all: The following OOC thread has been created. Can everyone joining in make sure they have read and understood the first post before partaking in the RP. Question; was an Intelligence Committee ever established? If so, my senator is a former Intelligence Officer and would therefore likely have ended up on it - and if not officially, do we want to set one up? Or shall we just keep it vague and off camera, and my character can be but one of a few senators that work within it from time to time....
Also, Darma, my senator is visiting your senator.
