and Miras: as for your goal of enlisting with the shadow's one day, working from Yavin would be good, since Rawkill is on the Council of First Knowledge, meaning he could take note of your progress and offer you a place amongst their ranks if you're still interested in that....

Hey all! I was wondering if any Jedi Academies would have an opening for a Jedi Consular teacher/healer? While not a full fledged academy, Vandelhelm has an outpost that is sorely in need of either a counselor or healer. I'll also say the RP is steady and of quality sort. The, eh, academy also has a former Count as it's headmaster, which could make for interesting RO. Do consider. - Dante |

Interesting! I sometimes wonder if Serenno could turn into a Game of Thrones knockoff RP with all these Counts about.

Heh, you should have seen Serenno in it's prime. When I actively RPed as a Count I tried to bring the Court of Counts back: we must have had eleven or twelve Counts running around at the same time. Serenno though, just doesn't bring in the RP sadly. Thus my efforts on creating a writing team on Vandelhelm - which has taken off wildly! As for the Jedi on Vandelhelm, there is currently myself, my padawan Miras - who posted above I believe, but has since returned to the Vadelhelm SL - and an NPC of the acclaimed Diamonte. A consummate Jedi indeed. So, as you can see, while not quite an academy, we certainly are trying to build one do check out our thread "looking to put together a writing team" for more info or to get an idea of what our team looks like! |

By the way, housekeeping: could any of the other Jedi Masters on Coruscant (or communicating with the High Council Spire via hologram) please post to Gavin Phoenix? Right now in character he might be convinced that Jade is the only Jedi on the planet/Council!

There's also Felucia, though it's presently in a bit of a dry spell and it's pretty much just me at the moment. Realization that I haven't posted with Aerandir IC in a while... You're probably better off checking out somewhere else first though, but you (and really anyone) are welcome to stop by at any point, though I can't really guarantee much excitement. Involvement with the Jedi. He's had a bit of a rough history, also his movement within the Temple is a bit limited at the moment due to restrictions placed upon him in earlier rp (basically his admittance to being a spy for the Empire). At this point he wishes to work with the Jedi, specifically to minimize collateral damage to civilians on worlds closer to the Empire's sphere of influence. |

In all seriousness, Aldes' first thought is going to be the safety of her son/heir. If there's no safe haven for her child, she'd be unlikely to make her base there. Not to say she wouldn't go on a mission across the galaxy and leave her son in Jedi care, but that's her first concern.

Just a matter of picking one, just find the one you're most comfortable with. Not including Felucia in that list, I can't really kid myself and call it active anymore. No plans to abandon it, just you're better off looking elsewhere. Plus if I were you IC I'd worry about leaving my child behind on a world with a jungle that deadly. If you want my suggestion, Corellia is probably the safest bet as far as activity and friendliness goes. Unless you have your heart set somewhere else, then have at it. |

Ael, what's the protocol for new characters springing out of the woodwork at an academy? Just assume that Aldes was always there as someone nobody interacted much "on camera"? |
