Okay....day one before all this new action happens: Completed. Meaning I've written twice as much, if not more than what I had saved before..
....yet I'm probably not even halfway done writing the grand scheme.
This is going WONDERFULLY!! :P

Jace, and Seros, can't wait to read you. Mine probably won't be done until tomorrow.

....I think the way I'm writing this out currently, I'm probably jacking up the actual time table of events, but I'm not sure anyone would have actually noticed had I not said anything. I just have a ton of crap to cover and this is the best way I know how to do it. [action]continues writing[/action] EDIT: Aaww!! ...that's CHEESE^ >_< all that memorized BBC, gone to waste. SECOND EDIT: ..I'm....musing on taking my next dose of deathsticks soon. What I have in mind would be a gamble in and of itself.. *strokes chin thoughtfully* Dante, how long would the jump to hyperspace be to whichever route we'd be planning to take? I'm leaving it up to whomever, but if that jump will take anywhere around an approximate 4-6 hours..I'll probably have him dose. THIRD EDIT (....I'll admit, this is easier than spamming the thread with multiple updates. Just wish I could efficiently save my drafts ON SITE like older JvS [/rant]): I'm going to go ahead and post what I have thusfar, which is the start of the last day, before the mercs show up and the Vulture droids wreak their havoc on them. I will continue writing, of course, but I figured it'd be less to write and edit later, and it'd be set in stone, which I'm confident with at this point. Seros, as of right now in my progression, wants to chase after Kaali, regardless of how reckless and ill informed the decision may be. However, Dante or Oz informing him that any jump route out of system would probably land him in the hands of an Interdictor, as per the altercation with the mercs. ..Which will lead Seros to question if whatever ship Kaali would be on would also be caught in similar means. Dante....once Seros finds out the scope of what is immediately happening concerning the jump routes, and WHY.... *...long pause...*
..I've gotta act true to Seros. Things will get very tense between us very quickly...

Just a note to all involved: Indy's main hangars are still sealed, and per her protocols they'll be staying that way until she relocates. I'm afraid ya'll are just gonna have to sit tight and enjoy the ride...
As a compensation, I will be providing fireworks.
Dante! Which one of those task forces can you most easily do without, and what is their composition exactly? I'll need to know what Indy's seeing on her sensor scans.

*cringes*
Eh, hold up there cowboy - we kinda need it the way it is for story purposes. See, Liya and Jace and I have concluded that the best way (story wise) to justify the crew splitting up is that some danger - like the one present - forces us to scatter: increasing the odds of us escaping by going different directions and routes in our separate ships.
Besides, what motivation does Oz have for doing that anyway? He'd risk the lives of everyone in the market over several complete strangers - and Seros? It would seem much more likely that he'd go for the scatter plan while Indy runs interference.

Y'know, it really would be great if you'd let the guy who's ship you're stuck on know about all this stuff beforehand... Since, ya know, it's his ship you're spawning commandos on and making plans around and he can't avoid screwing up those plans if he doesn't know what they are.
The lockdown is a standard operation for when the Independence comes under attack, and it's being done to protect the market and all of Indy's patrons. Oz may not be the most socially adept dude in the universe, but Indy can clearly understand that of all the ships in her hangars, she herself stands the best chance of running a blockade and getting everyone else out safely. She's not going to risk her patrons by letting them run off half cocked when she can probably blow through any one of those blockades without getting scratched.
Sorry if this screws up your plans, but I basically said this exact same thing IC right after your commandos attacked. I don't mean this in a derogatory or demeaning way and I'm not trying to be a jerk, but next time you're making plans that involve the behavior of one of my characters (indy) you might want to let me in on them from the start.
That said, splitting up to run a blockade wouldn't be a reason for the crew to stay apart afterward. For that, they'd need a longer lasting reason like Karana going to find Wade while Jace and Liya look for clues about Fel.

And that might be so, but to be frank...this was a three person RP for a while before people started drifting back in after the fracture. If you're now vested in this beyond a passing fashion as far as your ship is concerned; and I was under the assumption that it was a ship spawned out of nothingness for story sake - then id be more than happy to accommodate. It was my impression that you were a passing story element and provided services such as decryption for Liya, and quite honestly nothing more than a place to regroup.
That said, I have four stock Nebula-class destroyers with stock weaponry, each a full complement of soldiers and various other sundry vehicles - which I can look up later as I'm on my phone.

I'd understand that "just a waypoint" sentiment if Oz and Indy were just a pair of NPC's tacked on to Wade's profile, but they're completely independent characters who had SL's going before the crew even showed up at the run.
And even if they were just a waypoint in the story, that still doesn't give you the right to call hits on my characters without even bothering to give me a heads up. Spawning that little army inside my sentient warship was one such hit, and I was willing to roll with it for the sake of the story, but now you're trying to dictate how my character would behave without even asking me, and to put it bluntly, that's way over the line.
All I'm asking is to be given a little common RP courtesy.

In that case, I'll extend that courtesy.
I wasn't aware that this character existed before this point - I was under the impression that it was more or less a spawned character that was dreamt up for convenience sake specifically for this plot. Had I known, I would have been both more tactful and thoughtful in how I've interacted with the Indy - as I've tried to in the past with your characters. My apologies.

Thank you. Apology accepted.
Now back to the Splitting of the crew. Would it not work to just use Fel and Wade for that?

I'm not...sure I'm the one to answer that.
While I know the crew to a degree, I don't know the nuances. I don't know loyalties, obligations, character bonds. Would the crew as a whole go after Fel as he is their captain? Would they split up to tackle wade and Fel simultaneously? These are questions I think only you guys can answer...
I do think though, that the time has come for you (all of you) to address the fracture from an IC perspective, and how to proceed from here.

My next posts will start to address that. Now that Liya has some clues about what Indy can do, she will realize that Indy's capabilities are the quickest solution to locating Fel (or, actually, discovering that he is missing). Which will give Oz another chance to show off for the lady. Lol.

Haha, no worries. Short and sweet, and doesn't cross over IC lines. I liked it.
