Private conversation? Ooh...this could get good Eh, well I need to visit Xanathane first probably for backstory. Anyone who wants can come with me - I intend to go see the Altisian Jedi, then go to a safe house of Arcturus' *relatively* nearby, both on Tibanopolis. I intend to get into a medium level scuffle on the safe house bit, so another fighter for backup would be nice...keep in mind that's a Dante medium, so there's probably going to be like, a tank (Is a fan of actually making his character take realistic damage, and not handing him fights). Daniel, Arcturus had a library in this safe house (It's an Arcturus safe house after all) - you could do some research in his study/library if you'd like. My backstory has it so that Dante heard from Arcturus about the eye, so hypothetically there could be some info slash clues on it there. Whether there ever was LEGIT (went out and acquired it via RP) info on the Baran Do in this particular library I don't know - and I'm not going to go all the way to Facebook JvS to double check (Had a lot of libraries back in the day). We can just assume that there is for plot convenience. Besides that, there's always been a lot of info Arcturus rounded up on other force traditions and such that I went out and legitly acquired via RP - if you have an interest or inkling to familiarize your character with their history and such, be my guest. They're just sitting there unused. Beyond that, I can roll with whatever you guys want to set up. This facility we're raiding isn't crucial or even important to my backstory...we can make it as big or small as you want, and as heavily staffed as you want. Incinerate it down to atoms, leave it standing - don't care.

Hmm, I don't think Liya would want to go along to meet the Jedi. Maybe this is my chance to visit the bounty broker --- after all, why would I wait if he could have information on Fel?
But I'd like backup on this one, too, (Probably Seros or Jace. She wouldn't want Dante to know just yet, got to keep some secrets) so if you're all going with Dante, I'll wait.

I will write up my plans for rescuing Zawadi later, when I have more than a phone. There's going to be a ton of innocent bystanders, so we'll have to be careful. Unfortunately.

Jace or Liya, go ahead and..ask Seros something, or simply address him. It's not that I don't have anything to go off of, but I'm at a stalemate with myself in concerns to what he would/should be thinking or saying at this particular point. He feels awkward, and I don't write awkward well. And we need to keep moving. I don't want us stagnating on my account.
I'm also considering changing his outlook on the Council completely. It doesn't make sense for him NOT to dislike the way they treated his family situation. Leaves a big hole in his reasoning behind things. If he held a full-out grudge against them, it'd actually make things much easier to write, continuity wise.
Further edit: Maybe I need to rethink the entire 'Council involvement' altogether. I don't know. I feel like I need to bounce ideas off other people in order to make things more believable. I want his situation to be unique, but I feel like what he's feeling towards his former Order is..a bit unnatural. I could be wrong. I have no idea.

Haha darn it, Liya was purposely keeping things awkward to see how you'd react.
Alright, I'll see what I can do, if Jace doesn't beat me to it.

Found an easy solution: I just added a question for Seros to the end of my last post. I hope that helps?

Thank you. That helps. A lot. ...Seros needs to dose again, solely for development purposes.

I know how you feel about not knowing about character development and such: Dante has surprised me more than a couple of times himself. I'll give you my impressions of Seros though, and see if that helps you. To me Seros comes across as a Jedi who is growing steadily away from the order, yet still wants to cling to its ideals and philosophies in principle; whether this is out of familiarity or his own uncertainty of his own future I don't know. Intellectually, I think he understands he's not a Jedi, but I think he's drowning a little right now in figuring out what exactly he IS: Ex-jedi, Gray Jedi, Jedi Exile, Runaway Jedi, some kind of Neutral entity, or what exactly. Combined with the loss of this loved one, I think he's looking for something to drive him forward and to give him purpose...not only physically (literally, something for him to do) but as well as to help align his beliefs and philosophies into better light: Seros comes across as an individual who can be incredibly conflicted over inner struggle, with him only finding true insight into being confronted with a situation and then DOING something about it. I feel like he's trying to gather as much information as possible on his current situation, before gathering himself up and then launching himself towards a new purpose...whatever that might be. Those are my impressions.

Thank you. That helps. A lot. ...Seros needs to dose again, solely for development purposes. I'm in a posting mood, so I got something short up from my phone. I'll code it later when I can see the code buttons. I hope I gave you enough time, if not, I can change it. My impressions are similar to Dante's. Seros seems like the kind of rogue Jedi who may trust/value other individual Jedi, but not the Jedi Council or other powerful groups of Jedi. Power corrupts and the Council has too much power, etc. And he seems to be seeking a purpose, much like Liya was when you all found her.

Yeah. Thanks guys, that's very reassuring, as that was the exact vibe I was intending him to have. My PROBLEM with him, as it were, is determining 'believable' events that happened in his past. As I have it right now, he 'understood' the Council's position to not tell him of the Sith raid on his home planet because they feared it would have impared his judgment. But Seros is an impulsive individual, hence their reasoning to not tell him and to try and deal with it whilst keeping him in the dark. I don't even know if THAT'S correct. You'd think they'd tell him as to not lose his trust. The whole bit with his twin brother turning and killing his family is staying, obviously. That makes perfect sense in Sith training.
Just need to figure out what's believable in situations like that and figure out what to do from there. In case you haven't noticed, in all my characters I've written, introspect saturates my compositions. Meaning I'm quite introspective on myself, quite frequently. I internalize things, sometimes to a serious fault. But whatever. lol.
Liya, I'm taking a peek at the post now.

Ahhhhh...ok, ok I get what your saying now.
I honestly think it could swing either way. The council has been known to with hold information from knights before...so the very possibility of this happening is feasible. Usually though, they'd consult the individuals master to ascertain an individuals mental state. I do see what you mean though, by them telling Seros to keep his trust...and with them knowing he's a impulsive individual, I would think they would have come to the conclusion that he would have a brash negative impulsive reaction to them withholding information - whereas he might have acted out towards the information itself, possibly straying tot he darkside, this would be considered part of a Jedi's training - withstanding personal emotions and bias is part of the regimen of self control the Jedi teach after all. Because of that, I would think they would intentionally send him in order to make him a better Jedi...especially if he was in an apprentice position to a master, where a master could help guide him along.
Personally, I would have written it as a "for the greater good" scenario, where a mission of some political importance or such could have ramifications if not handled immediately - and Seros was dispatched to handle it. Information was withheld by the council so that he could complete this mission without being distracted by personal agenda. or something along those lines...has more of a "Jediesque" quality to it, where the jedi have to make the difficult decisions on where to focus their attention, and who to send - ignoring the personal feelings of those they send.
PS: Sorry for grammar and spelling, Iphone typing sucks.

D, you're the man. I'll muse this over a bit more and incorporate it into his backstory later. If anything, he still decides to wear customary robes and such either out of duty, or of spite.
Also...is anyone else having issues with trying to select text color in the box? It's...acting really weird.

Almost done my post. This is kind of an intro to him willfully dosing, so I'll follow up with one later, too. EDIT: ...done. I'll write progressively along as best I know how.

Jace, is there anything else we need to discuss on the bridge? If not, I'm going to go interrupt Dante's workout.

Ok, so, ... plans. Yes. Our target is a three-story resort complex that's laid out somewhat like a mall. The building is a big rectangle, with cantinas and shops on all 3 levels, facing inward and opening into a large inner atrium. On the bottom floor, the atrium is a huge casino, and rising above that, both upper floors are ringed on the inside by a balcony overlooking the atrium. There is a lift at either end, and the atrium has a glass roof, opening it to dazzling sunlight and starlight. According to the datacards, Kim Zawadi and another martial arts expert will be meeting with the Syndicate 'recruiters' at the Black Bantha, a cantina on the second floor. My plan is for Liya to station herself on the third floor balcony or on the roof, to act as a spotter (since she knows Kim the best) and, if needed, as a sniper, or to drop in from above and provide backup. We will need to have two other teams: one team will grab Kim when I spot her, and then the other team will grab a Syndicate operative as soon as they reveal themselves by reacting to Kim's capture. I'm willing to leave a lot of the details of the operation up to you guys. I will be writing Kim and the other martial artist, and any Syndicate operatives standing watch on the roof. The rest of the operation isn't very important to my storyline. The real fun comes afterward.

Although, I shouldn't have to tell you, the Syn is also looking for Seros. They won't recognize him right away, but once they see he's involved, they'll figure it out.

Jace, is there anything else we need to discuss on the bridge? If not, I'm going to go interrupt Dante's workout. Sorry for going MIA for a bit, just got back to school. As for bridge discussion, we could always talk a little more about what we will do when we land. Such as scouting out the possible area and finding out who will tag along with who once the boots are on the ground. But we can do that once we get there if you'd like. It works either way for me.

Initially I didn't think there was anything for us to discuss that wouldn't involve Dante, but I just realized there is. I'll try to get a post up later this evening.

As this is the Fel crew I guess I should keep an eye here as I have the Captian of the crew in custody and stuff.
