So, I've begun a dialogue with the artist who will be doing our group portrait, and money has changed hands. I'm pretty freakin' excited. So far, the artist has good info on only two writers' characters: Galdaart, and Mack. In addition, knows there's a really beat-up R2 (Wrench) and a pristine R5 (Scrappy.) Do you want me to submit the details you wanted? I was planning to but it seems now that they were more for the crew portrait and I hardly expect to be a part of that considering where we stand IC at the moment.

I don't know Daniel... knowing who you are, and your dedication to this site, I'd love to have you in the picture. But is Daniel going to stay with the crew? How would we, a band of brigands, convince you to leave the relative safety of the Museum? And why would you want to join a ragtag group of misfits?
Don't get me wrong, I want you in, but based on the PC, and the SL, is Daniel more a passenger, or a crew member? That's more of a question for you, not me. (And even less a question for me due to the current circumstances.)

We'll see how the story unfolds. I think it could go either way depending on character interaction and IC benefits for both parties remain to be seen. I'd love to be a permanent party to the crew being that I like writing with you lot, which is a major part of why I made this character and storyline to introduce him into the fold, but not enough has happened to determine if he is a good fit for the crew and vise versa.

Also that being said I'd love to get everyone's opinion on Daniel's place with the crew, though bear in mind that my ultimate decision will be made in character regardless of what I or anyone would like to happen. It makes more sense that way, not forcing it because of OOC preference. I see it possibly being like Simon joining the crew of Serenity.

It's certainly possible, although I think it will tale some time to adequately develop to the point where IC-ly we would think of you as a permanent member of the crew.
We're a little weak on the character development angle right now anyway. I'm looking forward to this next SL. I almost feel like Liya knows Seros and Dante better than Jace at this point....
