Ooo, probably a good place to start. I think after I rescue Wade's amnesic rear, Malora might go there. It'd be a fun reuniting place for the rest of the crew, too. Something is always happening at the Red Shi(f)t.

Well, as I noted earlier, we need to confirm that Fel got pinched before the crew is going to split up. After talking with Oz about the technical limitations of the Independence, we concluded that the asteroid field would make any long distance attempt to hack into cameras/systems on Skip One impossible. So that means someone has to go to Skip One to confirm Fel is gone.
I would like to simply roll that sidetrack into the timeskip post I'm going to write. Liya is the most logical choice to do the checking. First, the Syndicate doesn't yet know that the Bronze Star is connected to us. Second, once Oz/Indy determine which ship Fel took, Liya will be able to play back in her photographic memory, and realize that Fel parked right between the Millennium Eagle and the Red Shift on Skip One. That leads me to the Red Shift, and as Fel just noted, there were many witnesses, including ones who would have heard the argument between the competing Imperials. So we'll find out that some Imperial element has picked him up, apparently on a bounty, but we won't have any clue where he's been taken.
Now, if you Fel, or anyone else, want me to add or change any of that, or want to be mentioned as tagging along, let me know. I also plan to contact Darkwell OOC and make sure we're clear about what we can and cannot learn from the witnesses.
But if all of that holds true, the next step would be for Liya to contact a bounty broker friend of hers on Bespin, in hopes of learning more information. And that's my question: is there a publicly listed bounty on Fel's head that I would be able to locate? If so, that's our next lead. If not, it gets more complicated.

Also, just knowing that Darkwell has Fel and that it was an Imperial bounty still makes for a REALLY big target, so I don't think we're cheating the investigation here. The hard part isn't who took Fel. The hard part is where, in an entire galaxy of hiding places, was he taken?

Heads up on a few things, should anyone take notice in the future. An explanation of changes I'll be making to Seros, as it were.
I've been writing him so 'stiff', as Lor adequately put, and rather angsty to such a degree that I've literally gotten headaches from delving that deep in the barrel of emotions, and despite the legitmacy of them in his given circumstances, I'm tossing caution to the wind and writing him less.....angry. He'll have plenty to be angry about later, and I want to actually, you know..ENJOY my character. So that being said, I will also be attempting to draw out Statham's attributed accent all the more.
figure --> "figger'"
necessary --> "necess'ry"
territory --> "territ'ry"
so on and so forth
Fel, to answer your querry, as to where Seros will be going....I have no galactic idea (being that "earthly" ideas in Star Wars are out of the question). While time with Dante and Logan would prove an interesting enough endeavor in and of itself, the more I think about it, I think Seros would stick with whom and what he knows as long as he knew the present powers that be wouldn't make any logical connection:
Going with Oz and Rana to find Wade.
EDIT: However...if anyone going to Bespin would like to make the effort to get Seros' attention and somehow 'convince' him to come along, by all means. The one who would have the most luck with that, I can tell you right now.....is Logan. That Force artifact still hasn't caught Seros' ear yet. Right now, either path is fine with me: Bespin, or Wade. It'll depend on other's actions and what they let Seros know for where he goes next.

Seros, glad to hear you're along for the ride. Though, to be clear, it might be a very long ride. There's a lot that needs to be played out with Wade and Galen, and with the crew doing several different things at once, I still feel like it'll be a long time till we see each-other, in-person.
That said, I feel like my presence here on the 'UA' board may only serve to slow things down, put ideas in folks' head that distract from the current plots, and so my presence here will be minimal. Though I'd dearly love to be around more often, I feel as though I have a great deal of amends to make with this crew, and my being here OOC doesn't really help what you all are faced with. I'm going to write, and I'm going to play out my time with Darkwell, Solomon, and the I.R., whatever they have in store for me. I think Fel deserves to suffer a bit. Maybe he'll learn something from time spent with the Imps. Like why he left in the first place.
Liya, your idea re. time-split posting and finding out that Fel has been taken are bang-on. If there isn't an official Bounty on Fel's head, we could always make one via the 'Bounty Postings' sticky thread. Then it's fair game for all Holonet users to see. Only thing is: y'all might be included on that bounty as known associates.
I leave it up to you Liya. If you want to get intel via a connection on Bespin, so be it. If you want to have an official Bounty posted, let me know via PM, and I'll submit one. (interesting side-note, if the official bounty was posted, when Darkwell collected, you'd be able to determine who the Bounty was paid out to, and who collected me. hmmm.)
On that note, though I'll be lurking, I won't post too often on this thread till we're back together. If you really need me, PM or FB me.

Dante, your choice of avatar is perfect, by the way. Just finished Star Trek: Into Darkness again, couldn't picture a better man for Dante than Khan. XD The ironic part is I came up with the attitude and background of Dante - and THEN saw Khan for the first time. Practically fell out of my seat at the sight of a Dante clone. EDIT: also came up with a post that gets me out of "transit limbo" as I like to call it. If you wanna bother me you can, but if I'm not, then I'm just gonna stay there until we move along. |

Hi there guys. So, I promised I wouldn't be here too much, but this is a little different. You guys are about the only people I've ever 'met' and got to know via the interwebs, so I thought it important I share the news: I'm a Dad! My wife gave birth to our little girl, Evelyn Abigail, in the wee hours on Saturday morning. Baby is gorgeous, and such a joy. Most incredible experience of my life. Eeee!!
