She broke into that breakfast as if it had shamed her mother and killed her father. She ate it as if there was plenty refill to be had, was only stopping to mutter a couple of "uhm" and "Ah"-s for Nartaga to know she was listening and not just destroying food. She felt famished from the trip after the recuperating sleep. She was done as Nartaga finished. She put the bowl to where she found it and nodded.
-Six- "I rather not. Not now anyway. One day soon, you should show me how to kill a Dark Possessed. Draw them in the sand."
She thought about the new order she found in her new datapad she got from 42. The sugar.
-Six- "I would like to bring trade of sugar in front of the council. I dont wish to sell it without the councils consent."
This was both a question and a statement. She needed to know how the council would react to a query like that.

Nartaga laughed heartily as Six tore into the food at last. It was like she thought this was her last meal. He had not seen anyone not returning from a War eat like that. He picked up both his own bowl and Six's and took them to the kitchen and began washing them.
-Nartaga- "Show you how to kill the Dark Possessed? I....I..."
Nartaga sighed and shook his head. He put his hand on the side of his mask and continued washing the bowls.
-Nartaga- "I'm sorry...its just...The Dark Possessed are not beings you go searching for out of sport...Telling you about them was bad enough..."
Laying the dishes out to dry on a ragged towel and walked back into the living room and sat back down on the mat across from Six.
-Nartaga- "Sugar? It's fine for recreation, but we'd have to be careful it doesn't get out of control. Small trade would be fine, but nobody wants to see Uli-ah experimenting with that stuff."

Kal'Shor laughed at Bal's choice of words. He let up his boot as Bal pushed up harder and helped Bal up as he would no doubt be in pain and a good bit angry.-Kal'Shor- "You are still raw ore. I will make you better, and turn you into fine metal. But first you have to believe that you can be better."Kal'Shor patted the boy on the back, maybe a little too hard, but he didn't seem to notice.-Kal'Shor- "I swear by the Suns if the other Sentries had as much determination as you, the R'Crurak would be unstoppable."Kal'Shor reached down and picked up his Gaderffii stick. He then started running down the mountain trail into the lower part of the Enclave.-Kal'Shor- "Time for a run! Try and keep up!" *Bal still barely knew the man, but as he was helped up, he gave the tusken a questioning look when he spoke his phrase. Of course his sentimental words of praise at Bal's determination was greatly appreciated as a smile hit his face. Picking up his own Gaderffii, Bal nodded and began to run after Kal with speed. He was injured, had two losing fights, and yet he kept pushing himself. If Kal kept praising him, he might even do better than the man would expect. But time did not need to be rushed as he tried his best to keep with Kal's pace. Bal always knew how to rile up or even mock his opponents with a playful and fun tone, deciding to use it against Kal to see his reaction.*"Oh come on! You can run faster than that can you?! You're going to let an injured, teenage outsider beat you!?

Kal'Shor glanced to his side and saw Bal come up to his right and taunt him. The old Dunewalker shrugged at the suggestion of going faster and sped up the pace of his run. He began pulling away from Bal. He was fast for an old warrior.
-Kal'Shor- "If that is what you wish. But do not think that insult to my honor will earn you any rest today. Quite the opposite."
Kal'Shor laughed for a moment before growing silent as he focused on his breathing, making a stead rhythm to keep oxygen flowing to his limbs. As they made their way into the lower Enclave Kal'Shor ran straight towards the wall and suddenly took a right down a small street heading to the east side of the Tusken city, and then another quick left, heading straight towards the wall.

It's fine for recreation, but we'd have to be careful it doesn't get out of control. Small trade would be fine, but nobody wants to see Uli-ah experimenting with that stuff." Six nodded about the Sugar. Maybe she doesnt need to seek the councils acceptance. She did only bring about 30 packs, and they were packs made for... caff. She will see what kind of market there is for it, and report back, as she was thought. She was promised a great reward if she does this mission well, greater then what she ever could wish for. She did give some right to the Crucible people. They may be cruel, but they were fair. Punishments were great, but the gain was equal. And the mistress herself would give this reward, she promised. It came from her yellow lips, and she never lied to her subjects. What is a couple sugar junkie tusken in comparison to the great secrets of the universe? She went back to the more pressing matter.-Six- "You say they target your clan in perticular. I am a guest here, but I do go out into the wastes. If one seeks me out, how will I know how it looks like? What it can do? What I can do against it? If you were to guest my clan, we would tell you witch plants to eat, witch cells to use and witch sister has a bad temper." She wasnt scolding him, just laying forth her argument in a calm manner, sitting in the same spot she was offered to dine in. On the other hand, she was a woman, so who knew really? -Six- "Besides, you wouldnt have brought it up if it wasnt important. So close to the tusken reaching the stars, do you have fears of ... disvictory?" She was trying to find the Basic word for "Failiure".

Nartaga shook his head, not knowing what to say. Six was right. He had already spilled the milk about the Dark Possessed. She was young, but she was capable. She might need to know one day.
-Nartaga- "I'm....sorry....And no, they target all of us. Our clan just happens to be near where we believe their nest is....not to mention....."
Nartaga choked on his words for a moment. He quickly composed himself before speaking again.
-Nartaga- "There was a nest in the mountains of the Enclave. We sealed off all the tunnels we could find but....maybe they're calling to the others? Calling them to attack us? I can't say for sure..."
Nartaga stood back up and began pacing the room.
-Nartaga- "The easiest way to kill them is decapitation....but they are fast, and strong. They get their strength from the Machines, and their power is great. Blasters and Slugthrowers have little affect. Dismemberment helps but unless its the head they keep attacking...."
Nartaga sat back down and sighed.
"I believe the word you are looking for is failure. I think about it often, but I believe in what I am doing. Thousands of others depend on us succeeding. Tens of thousands of others depend on them. I fear it, and pray to the Suns that we do not fail."

-Six- "Thank you."
She believed she had done something good today. She now knows how to kill an arch enemy of her people, and now the Banshee clan will too. She believed the knowledge to kill these creatures could only bring good, but she didnt consider it from other perspectives. Like, how cool it would be to have soldiers that fight on even if they loose limbs? What secrets may be burried in their little possessed bodies? Nartaga was right. He shouldnt have told her, and she shouldnt have asked for it.
-Six- "Whatever you may need for it, that you yourselves cant reach, tell me. I will see what I can do. For now, I have more weapons to sell. Thank you for the breakfast."

Nartaga bowed his head as Six made her leave from the hut to go sell more weapons. He put his hands on his knees as she left and began meditating. He said one final thing as she left.
-Nartaga- "There are always things that are out of our reach. But we manage. You should know from experience that the Tuskens as a people are sometimes too proud to accept handouts."
As she closed the door, the light inside the hut seemed to disappear, and Nartaga began chanting under his breath. It was almost eerie, as his chanting seemed to be the only sound that could be heard within the hut.

She nodded. She was also hard to accept the handout she was given and in her case, she soon realised she could only accept. It was painfull for her, sure, but she would pay that price for the handout the Tusken people get. Or so she believed. Or so she was promised.
Her next turn was to the shed she called home. There was already a line, so she wasnt sure how many tusken wanted to buy new guns. Was a bunch for sure, they were forming a line. She had about 30 guns sold already, and those had gotten what they wanted. Surely their friends, families, closest clan mambers were at awe of their new found power and accuracy, and wanted more. That day she closed 16 more deals before she closed shop and left for the council.
Atia knew that tusken wouldnt just start raiding because she had taken one of them as slaves, she knew very well they wouldnt lift a finger for someone that hurt them. Other incentives needed to be given. Civilisation. More exactly, economy. She needed to start trade of goods and trade of currency not just between tusken and outsiders but between tuskens themselves. Currency and trade on larger scale will make them want to own more so they can trade more. To own more they need more stuff. To have more stuff they must either trade smart, or take the stuff. And we all know how good Tusken are at taking stuff. Raiding.
But first, they will have to have little stuff, stuff they cant trade away, because it is essential to their living, so they will have to loose all they DONT need for living. Or... Trade it away.
For Sugar.
Six presented herself just before the two suns started to set at the Council, waiting for her turn to speak. This time she only brought her Gaffi and a couple coffe-packs of sugar.

The Sentry guard looked at Six with disdain, but allowed her entry into the Great Hall. The Council did not seem to be very busy. There were two strange Tuskens they were talking to, possibly to settle a dispute. When they finished, K'Shir gestured for Six to come forward. She spoke in Tusken.
-K'Shir in Tusken- "What is it, dear? Is everything going okay at the Enclave for you?"
Rik'Ur, he head of the Sentries, scoffed and crossed his arms grudgingly. K'Shir shot the younger Tusken a look, bu Rik'Ur ignored it.
-Rik'Ur in Tusken- "Don't get too close to the filth. She'll probably turn around and kill your grandchildren without a second look."
K'Shir put her hand to her chest and shook her head.
-K'Shir in Tusken- "You are as unpleasant as always when confronted by someone different, Rik'Ur. I remember when you were a child you always ran away from females because they wore different robes."
Rik'Ur clenched a fist in response, while another Councilor, Gr'Ish, chuckled a bit. Gr'Ish spoke up after composing himself.
-Gr'Ish in Tusken- "What brings you back to the Great Hall to speak with us, child? Is something wrong?"
Ruk'Arr, the leader of the Shamans and final Councilor, remained silent, overseeing the meeting with eerie silence.

Six had to be speed trained in that one year. One reason was because about three-four months of that time she was still resisting the Crucible and its teachings. It was only later that she could really study what they gave her. So, they had to resort to cutting some of the "banshee Program" off. Like cutting most high-tech gear training, group combat tactics, umbrella mastery, lessons in galactic affairs, civilisations, history, and threatening phrases, mimes, architecture and the list goes on. What she WAS trained in substantially was single combat, and spycraft, manipulation and spotting what may interest Military Intelligence.
In her head, she allready noted K'Shir as an asset whom will be easy to manipulate personally, and Rik'Ur whom could be manipulated from afar. She also noted the difference in mannerisms between the two. Also, she noted Nartagas absence. She took it from Gr'lsh chuckle, Rik'ur-s unfriendlyness and K'Shirs motherly friendlyness that the council was not one mind, one united purpose. She noted it in her head for later noting it in her datapad, and stepped forward and bowed (or whatever is custom).
-Six- "It is well, thank you. The trade went well, the Banshee clan is content, and hopes that the Tusken People are too. Many seemed to like the weapons we provided. The next shipment should be in a standard week, If the council accepts. 30 more sets. I am also asking for permission to sell Sugar. Small quantities and only to adults."
She pulled the small sugar packs and reached it not to K'Shir, but to Gr'Lsh. She figured a motherly person would think twice before introducing drugs iinto her family, and Rik'Ur was restrained against Six. She wanted to see if she can find a new ally in Gr'Lsh. Show some trust, and gain some back.

Gr'Ish took the packets and inspected them, turning them over in his hands.
-Gr'Ish in Tusken- "Why does the Banshee wish to trade sugar with us? We don't really have a use for it besides recreational purposes. We don't need Sentries hung over from a night of drinking this stuff. Stronger tribes than us have fallen for similar reasons."
Gr'Ish handed the packets back to Six, shaking his head.
-Gr'Ish in Tusken- "I can't in good conscience support this, but it is not my place to suppress the free will of my people."
That was about as much support Six was going to get out of him. Rik'Ur raised his voice almost immediately after Gr'Ish finished.
-Rik'Ur in Tusken- "So this is your game, then, welp? Get us all hooked on sugar and then enslave us like dogs? I am not easily fooled! My answer is no. We have enough trouble with my Sentries getting their hands on Sugar!"
Ruk'Arr finally spoke up, giving his opinion.
-Ruk'Arr in Tusken- "The Shamans sometimes use drugs to incite visions. Our Healers also use sugar water as an anesthetic on critically injured warriors. Our healers can not always keep the pain of healing the body down. Better to have them drunk then flailing and screaming."
Rik'Ur huffed, crossing his arms and speaking own to Ruk'Arr like he was a subordinate.
-Rik'Ur in Tusken- "If you want to play right into their hands, you can, Shaman. But don't expect my Sentries to come and rescue you."
Rik'Ur was suddenly knocked flat onto his back by an unseen force. The other three Councilors gasped, while the stare Ruk'Arr was giving Rik'Ur explained it was him that knocked the leader of the Sentries down.
-Ruk'Arr in Tusken- "You would better off not underestimate the Shamans, Rik'Ur. We can handle ourselves."
The attention went back to Six.

Infighting in front of an outsider. Sixs heart sunk. She thought more of her people, and the impression Nartaga gave made the council seem wise and settled. What she saw now didnt match her expectations. She disliked it, and disliked the fact that she will have to report it. Because she has to. She knows very well what happens if she doesnt. On the brighter side, she believed in what her mistress was saying, that she wants to help the tusken. Maybe if she reports this, a better leadership can be arranged. She will take it up with Nartaga first though.
-Six in tusken- "If your sentries already use sugar to let the cold nights and hot days go by, why not control it? A steady and controlled flow of sugar used safely is a better option then drunk sentries on watch. And I am willing to give away sugar for the Shamans."
The thought came to her naturally. It seemed like the best solution to all their problems.

Rik'Ur stood up and glowered down to Six, his arms still crossed.
-Rik'Ur in Tusken- "Or'Ish would turn over in his grave if he saw Sentries openly using Sugar! I will not stand for it! There are already penalties if they're caught. They know better! They were trained better!"
K'Shir leaned over to Six and whispered as Rik'Ur continued on his little rant. She spoke Basic, as her native tongue was not very good at whispering.
-K'Shir- "I'm sorry you had to see that, Rik'Ur has always been....passionate. "
Gr'Ish stood up an put his hand on Rik'Ur's shoulder, saying something to under his breath to his fellow Councilor. Rik'Ur's arms dropped, and the unruly Tusken sat down. Gr'Ish bowed to Six in apology.
-Gr'Ish in Tusken- "I would like to apologize for this incident of a meeting, Six. It has been a long day. As you saw the first time you came, we have been in stressful talks with several other clans. We are mortal, and sometimes our emotions get the best of us."
Gr'Ish sat back down and gestured for Six to continue.

She bowed back to the councillors with really... nothing she could say. Not about the little mishap.
-Six- "I understand."
Was all she could come up with. She felt powerless, unable to settle the minds of old and wise tusken, and she also felt dirty for making them feel so weak.
-Six- "My proposition stands. I am willing to sell sugar to adults, Not Sentries nor Uli-ah. And I will bring sugar to the healing tents whenever needed for free. If the shamans give me a list of things that can be useful further-more I could try and get it with the next shipment of guns. As a tribute to the clans for selling weapons and sugar. And of course, in safe quantities."

Gr'Ish nodded his head and looked at the other Councilors, who nodded. He turned to Rik'Ur, who nodded as well, although it was because he was outnumbered in the vote.
-Gr'Ish in Tusken- "Very well. We accept those terms. For most things you do not have to come to us to seek permission to trade or sell, but for this...we are glad you did. Sugar can be very addictive to our people, as you should know..."
The Councilors all stood up and began to walk to the rear room of the Great Hall. Only K'Shir remained as the door closed behind the other three Councilors. She walked over to Six, her head lowered and her hands held together uneasily.
-K'Shir in Tusken- "I hope that you are enjoying your time home, Six. It makes these old eyes happy to see you getting along so well with Nartaga. He does not usually take to people very well. Keep an eye on him. He has been acting strangely for a while now...."
With that K'Shir turned and followed the other Councilors into the room, once again closing the door behind herself.

Six bowed as needed as she was accepted, she bowed silently as the councilors left, she bowed silently as K'Shir adressed her, and she stood silently as the doors finally closed. Then she collapsed. Her knees were shaking, her hands were shaking. The first time she stood in front of the council she was too exited to be tired, to be scared, to be relieved. Now, she felt tired again. She felt tired because she saw how unruly even the highest decision making body of her people were. She was tired because she felt there was a lot more work waiting on her, and she was scarred that she wouldnt like what it is. She now paddled weapons AND narcotics to her people and it hit her just as her notion was accepted.
For the first time since she gladly accepted the collar, she felt its weight. This was the first step towards truly understanding freedom, and the lack of it. Small steps...
... Small steps took her out of the council chaimber and down to her hutt. She ate a nutrition bar and collapsed.
Before sleep, she wrote her report. She wrote about the deal, about her need for medical supplies, about the disorder of the councilors, about each concilors connection to one an other, as far as she could understand it. Most importantly, about the Dark Possessed. At least that she believed was good. Purely good. It was with that thought she fell asleep.

Several hours passed before Nartaga finally moved from his meditation. The lights in his hut turned back on immediately, and he rubbed the areas around his goggles to sooth his eyes a bit. Standing up, he looked outside, seeing it was dark. He exited his hut and went to the one where Six was staying and knocked on the door. He spoke at lowered volume just in case she was asleep.
-Nartaga in Tusken- "Six? Are you awake? I thought I would check to see how your meeting went with the rest of the Council..."
Nartaga yawned a bit. He was tired, but meditation was just as good as sleep to him, most of the time. At least he did not have to live through any visions.

His breathing was half-spastic, half-controlled as he kept himself moving. He kept his focus on Kal, making sure he never lost sight of his mentor. Even if he kept losing for a while, he knew Kal would do his best to train him to be just as strong as himself, if not stronger. And if he didn't, Bal would make sure his death was one done with a fighting spirit. The turns Kal made were harsh but quick to make on Bal's feet, doing his best to round corners without hitting another Tusken.*

Kal'Shor jumped up onto the wall and began climbing up the tall defensive structure, making to the top in about half a minute. He knelt down and held out his hand for Bal to jump and grab a hold of.
-Kal'Shor- "Jump! We're not even close to finished!"
Kal'Shor knelt down a little more to make it a little easier for the younger man to get up.
-Kal'Shor- "Hurry up before I make you climb the old fashioned way!"
