En-route to Grey Mist . . .
When Aidan dashes her hopes of getting to ride a dragon back to the academy once they have learned anything Arezou can tell them about Lavigne's whereabouts, Saoirse tells the Gupin that has currently shapeshifted into an Atlantis look-alike, "You're no fun, and then tosses the rock she took from a statue back at the academy from hand to hand as she asks Bria, Well, why couldn't he just do what he did back at the academy and ask someone to think about something that would be useful in a fight? Answering her own question without giving Bria a chance to reply, Saoirse guesses, I suppose it would be a bit more difficult to do that in the middle of a fight, huh? letting the rock rest in her palm and narrowing her eyes as she focuses on lifting it telekinetically, she says, I guess it would require planning ahead or something, as much as you could plan ahead for a fight anyway. Looking over at Veda, she grins and says, It's still a pretty awesome ability though."
Leaning over to look down at the structure they are heading towards, which looks more like a restaurant than a club, Saoirse asks Lyov, "Are we sure she'll be here this early? Why does she use a restaurant for conducting her business? Are we all going in? Starting to feel a little excited, and a little nervous as well, about being on her first bit of official Jedi business, Saoirse asks Veda, Have you ever done anything like this before?"

Relieved that she hadn't been talking to herself when Forcias comes into the living room, Lucine nods with a shrug and says, "Yup, went pretty well, then groans when reminded about having to go through whatever hoops and redtape awaits her when she manages to get an appointment at HQ to go through them, telling Forcias, Right, you got it all, frowning as she says, I already sent a holonet message requesting a time to go and demonstrate my mad skills are still finely honed and proving my head's still on straight," pointing at him in a playful warning not to contradict her on either point.
Shrugging after the kiss, Lucine tuns herself around so she can lay in Forcias' arms as she says, "I'm good with whatever you're in the mood for, honey bunny, trying out a new nickname for him rather than dope, the crinkling of her nose after hearing it aloud suggesting it may only prove to be the first shot at finding a pet name that suits Forcias and her sensibilities. I mean, Lucy says while tilting her head back and kissing his chin, so long as you are happy, schmoopie, I'm happy," frowning as take two doesn't seem to feel any more fitting to her than the first.
"So, Lucy says as she settles herself more comfortably against Forcias's chest and takes his arms to wrap them around her, what did you do today, Booboo Bear? Clearly still trying for the right name, she asks only to continue holding the pet name tryouts, Anything fun, bae?" Smiling, clearly happy with her last pet name, for the moment, Lucine finally stops talking and gives Forcias a chance to answer her question and decide what they will be doing for dinner.

Surprising even herself, Elikapeka makes no effort to cover herself up when reminded by Delaana that she is currently brushing her hair wearing only a contented smile, but then, as the realization hits her and she begins wondering how long the sense of ease in her own skin will last, blushes as she finishes brushing her hair and starts looking around for where she had left her towel after drying her hair, the flush in her cheeks only deepening as Delaana holds up her undies on her index finger, the pose amusing her enough that she laughs even though she is feeling a bit, and entirely without reason, embarrassed as she takes the undies and says, "Why yes, my Ceesi, yes they are, thank you," blinking owlishly as she realizes that had she not misplaced her spectacles sometime during the evening, she might have found her clothes before needing to enlist Delaana's aid in doing so.
Shaking her head and laughing at her embarrassment, which causes it to evaporate as easily as it had arisen, when Delaana goes to her dresser to dress for the day, Elika begins dressing as well, putting on her clothes from yesterday and explaining when Delaana asks if she would like to borrow anything, "I appreciate the offer, my Ceesi, but I have the feeling that I am in for enough teasing when I get home without arriving dressed in your clothes," her tone surprisingly devoid of any hint of anxiety and instead seeming more amused than anything. Elika is dimly aware of the fact her usual foundationless anxiety and angst have, now that she and Delaana have crossed the invisible, intangible divide between where they had been before and where they find themselves now, lost some of their ability to gain traction in her mind, but for once does not dwell on the recognition and pick things apart until she gives them footholds to make their way up from the depths of her mind, allowing herself to simply enjoy the way that, if only for now, being with Delaana makes her feel and how everything seems newer and brighter now that they are closer than they were before.
Once she and Delaana are dressed, Elika walks over behind her girlfriend and wraps her arms around her waist, not in an overly amorous way but rather in a tender, loving manner, and says happily, "No plans for today, but Andros wants to meet with me and my lieutenant tonight, so, she rests her chin on Delaana's shoulder and wiggles her nose against the Hapan's neck affectionately, interrupt me with messages just as often as you want, her delight at the prospect of being interrupted plain to hear in her voice. Do you know, Elika asks softly, almost as though in awe of what she feels, how happy you make me, my Ceesi? I only hope, she adds in a tone that neither seeks nor demands an answer of any kind but instead expresses a sincere desire, I make you just as, if not more happy."
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Elika releases Delaana from her embrace and laughs as she jokes as soon as she has expressed her feelings as though to reinforce the lack of any need for Delaana to respond to what she has said, crinkling her nose and apologizing, "Sorry, too cheesy, right? I will try to be more smooth and sophisticated going forward, then says in a more serious tone with just a dash of playful yet sincere pouting mixed in with it, I don't want to go, but, she sighs and winks, if I don't manage to now, I'm not sure I would ever be able to, biting the corner of her lower lip as she debates whether it would be needy to ask the question she then proceeds to ask before she debates the matter very long at all, Do you want to come over to the Lakehouse tonight?"
Grey Mist
As Aidan-as-Atlantis sets the speeder down in a space across from Grey Mist, a luxurious, elegant two story restaurant composed primarily of grey tinted glassine and steel, he answers Saoirse's question by saying, "I think just Mr. Entin, you and I will go and speak with Arezou. Taking a sonic scanner from a pouch on his belt, he hands it to Bria and explains with a mischievous grin, Use that to monitor any communication signals that our visit might generate, in case anyone inside contacts Lavigne or anyone that might be helping him hide out while we're meeting with Arezou. Looking at Veda, he says, Keep an eye out for anyone coming out of the building while we're inside, and follow anyone that does discreetly in case they are clever enough to avoid communicating over the holonet or via comlink."
Lyov, arching an eyebrow as the Gupin reveals that he is more well suited for the role of investigative lead despite his penchant for dramatic proclamations, says, "Impressive, Padawan Aidan," and then looks over at the mist-enshrouded restaurant that he has seen in his visions and feeling suddenly certain that some of the answers they seek will be found within its walls if they choose the way ahead with enough care.
After Lyov finishes speaking, Aidan-as-Atlantis nods to accept the praise he has been given and then tells Saoirse, "Your job is just to stand quietly and look intimidating, grinning as he suddenly releases his hold on Atlantis' form and soon resumes his own tiny, leonine faced and winged shape, and admits, A Zabrak is more intimidating than a Gupin, after all, and, he tells Lyov apologetically, you radiate far too calm an aura to inspire any fear in the head of an organized crime family, Mr. Entin, I am sorry to say."
Lyov laughs in a rare display of anything other than the outward serenity he has cultivated to match the inner sense of it he has acquired, lifting a hand and telling Aidan as he steps out of the speeder and holds Saoirse's door open, "No need to apologize, Padawan Aidan, and then after Saoirse has stepped out of the speeder, asks her, Ready, Initiate Beirne?"

Saoirse, grinning when Aidan tells her that her role in the meeting with Arezou is the silent muscle, nods and laughs as she says, "I guess I can handle that," even though she has never really thought of herself as particularly intimidating. Tossing her rock from hand to hand after nodding to thank Lyov for holding the door open for her, Saoirse is amused that he seems to be cut from the same cloth as the Vyridian twins where holding doors open is concerned anyway. She has also been surprised by Lyov's willingness to step back and let Aidan take the lead in the investigation, even going so far as to compliment the Gupin on his ideas about how Bria and Veda can be useful even if they won't be coming along to meet Arezou.
Putting her rock in her pocket, Saoirse tries to get into character as they make their way inside the restaurant, stuffing her hands in her pockets and doing her best to look intimidating, which she goes for by standing up straight rather than slouching as she often does, reminding herself over and over not to open her mouth no matter how curious she gets about anything that happends, and by imitating the dismissive and bored expression the Vice Governor wore for the majority of the time she saw him at the academy.

Forcias had lifted both of his hands when she pointed at him, actually he wasn't even to contradict or say anything about it, while yes it might have been three years for him, and factually speaking he had not seen those skills of hers in three years except for the ones they indulged regularly. Well if it was any indication, she still got it, and was definitely still her. Plus also in her point of view their Naboo skirmish was only a few days ago, but he still remembered that clearly, and she was level headed and just intuitive all the same.
Wrapping his arms around her and leaning down on the couch dragging her with him after he made sure he had a pillow at his head. Forcias arched an eyebrow when he listened to her calling him differently or trying to find one that suited her on how to call him. Just preferring to not even say a thing about those pet names, he figured she'd figure it out when and if she was content with it, he did look down at her when she kissed his chin and just smiled. That was just it, just a smile and just being in the moment, even though he knew she wasn't too much into romance, but it was just one of those moments where again he just was at peace just like he had been earlier when meditating.
"Nothing fun at all." Said Forcias truthfully, at least in her own point of view it wouldn't be fun, but in the end, he still was a Force user, and was qualified as a Master Jedi, but primarily he was a soldier. "Meditated, was just remapping in my mind also all of the locations we had been to." Possibly not something that was understandable to her currently but he did not hesitate to add. "I was talking with H before you came in, asked her if there were some activities in the Villas on Naboo, and we are forbidden to step foot on Coruscant. But I was wondering if actually they had chosen a destination we had already visited in the past, hence me trying to remember all of those said locations." Rubbing his chin and slightly shrugging, Forcias knew that nothing he could say right now would make this situation any different which was why he just placed his hand on her cheek and leaned down to kiss her forehead.
"By the way, Lieutenant Lucine Lyn, I will already say it, even if it's not official yet, glad to see you reinstated. And I suppose you'll see me often at UDF when I am needed for a consult."

Lana had been looking at her Shakal while getting dressed, and one thing she clearly noticed it was the little changes from the Architect's demeanor. It truly seemed that she was freer, if Lana could put it that way, and less anxious too which was even cuter in her honest opinion. It was those little changes that made Lana smile, happily too. "Right, of course for a split moment I had forgotten you lived with a certain attorney." Lana nodded in understanding, from having been a recipient of some of the teasing from Lily back then, she could only imagine but at the same time it was because probably the lawyer highly cared about Elika. "Consider yourself lucky though, my Shakal for getting teased by her, because not a lot sees her that way at all, especially in her department. She has a reputation." To which of course Lana was quite aware but she truly was not concerned by it as honestly it did not affect her so to speak, and she didn't spend plenty of time in the legal department.
Putting her hair up in a messy bun, Lana paused and placed her hands on Elika's arm when she felt them around her waist. Smiling and tilting her head on the side slightly she just truly felt at ease and definitely very content, certainly this was that part that she would truly dislike, just not being next to her girlfriend, but Lana also knew that she had to be selfless, and that life didn't suddenly freeze at all. Thus unfortunately this was one of those moments that she truly was not enjoying. But at least she could take comfort on the fact that they would see one another again soon, or even be in contact by messages.
Turning around to face her, Lana placed her fingertips under her girlfriend's chin and pecked her lips a few times, and even her cheeks when Elika mentioned being cheesy. "It's mutual, my Shakal." She said softly before pulling her head back to look into her eyes to show her how sincere she was, and that she was also truly happy, after all this time from her perspective at least. "No need to be smooth, or say anything sophisticated, just be you, my Shakal, that's all I want, that's all I need. And I am truly happy that you are back in my life."
Maybe, Lana was the one being cheesy right now, but she was unapologetic about it, for she meant everything that she said. But knowing that if this went on, she was certain that leaving was going to be even more difficult which was the reason why, Lana just gave her another kiss and picked up her sports bag before taking her girlfriend's hand to walk over the living room. "Ah there are your spectacles." Finding them on the coffee table by the couch, Lana picked those up and handed it to her before nodding. "And I would love to come to the lakehouse tonight. Shall I bring anything tonight, or just myself?"

Grey Mist
With Lyov and Saoirse flanking him on either side, Aidan flaps his tiny wings after they enter the restaurant, and after telling the Pantoran hostess that they would like to speak with Arezou and being asked to wait, after which they are lead to the upper floor of the restaurant and met with two large, hulking Herglics flanking the door to the Weequay's office that glare at them all menacingly before opening the door and motioning for them to enter.
Arezou, just as bald and wrinkled as one would expect a female Weequay to be, but dressed in an immaculately tailored black pinstriped suit, is sitting behind her desk looking at something on her dataterminal as Aidan, Lyov and Saoirse enter her lair. Holding up a finger to bid her guests to be silent as she finishes reading whatever it is she is reading, Arezou is quiet for a moment before, after finishing her reading, pressing a button on her desk that causes the dataterminal to be lowered into it, only then lacing her wrinkled fingers together before looking up at her quests and asking in parched, raspy sounding Basic, her voice sounding more tolerant than pleased, and her expression neutral, "To what do I owe the unexpected pleasure of this visit?"
Aidan, following Lyov's voice, aims for a more respectful tone than he feels the Weequay deserves as he bows in midair and says, "Honorable Arezou, I am Aidan, from the Mist Order. My companions and I have come to humbly ask for your help in . . ."
Waving her hand, Arezou says, "Shush, then points at Saoirse as she suddenly smiles and says, Number 8, University bolo-ball team. Huge fan. Shame you had to leave the game for, she waves her hands at the Gupin and Lyov with a disdainful frown, Team has really gone down hill without you."
Before Saoirse can deviate from the quiet and intimidating plan, or at least quiet since the fact Arezou knows her might make intimidating a stretch, Aidan says, "As I was saying, honorable Arezou, we . . ."
Waving her hand again, Arezou tells Aidan, "Shush, smirking as she points at the floor and warns the Gupin, I got a whole bag of shush down here, don't make me use it, then points at Saoirse and, her tone going from annoyed to pleasant, says, Let her do the talking."
Aidan, looking perplexed going on irritated, looks over at Lyov as though for guidance, getting only a subtle shrug that seems to suggest to him that he is being told to roll with the punches, and then bows to Arezou and looks over at Saoirse and motions towards Arezou to tell her to go off her assigned script and take on the role of the one that does the talking.

Curling up on her side as she lays in Forcias' arms, Lucine frowns in theatrical sadness when he tells her that he didn't do anything fun with his day, having spent it meditating and trying to help Horsea with something that sounds like it was related to what she herself had found herself involved in when she and Forcias were on Naboo, patting his cheek consolingly as she tells him, "Poor bae, her hand sliding around to play with the hair behind his ear idly as, deciding to just bite the proverbial bullet and risk the SERIOUS CONVERSATION that might follow the biting rather than ignore it or try to distract him from what is probably very much on his mind as she had initially planned, she asks, That all related to Eleuabad? Any reason it is coming up now that I should know about?"
Giving Forcias an out in case the subject is one that he doesn't want to talk about, or cannot talk about because of how the Kiffar he is bound and loyal to no matter what the General has decided, Lucine lays her head on his chest and rubs his bicep as she says, "Never mind, bae, KIFFAR BUSINESS, right? Hearing her stomach growl, she pats his bicep and reminds him, You still have to feed me, remember? We can make it a celebration of my reinstatement or something, and then, she props herself up on an elbow so she can look at him as she smirks playfully and adds, maybe, just maybe, I'll do something about the distressing fun deficit you've got going on today."

Elikapeka smiles when Delaana jokes about having almost forgotten that one of her housemates has a reputation for, among other things, having absolutely no filter and for playfully teasing those she is close enough to reveal that facet of her personality to, telling Delanna with theatrical seriousness, "Oh, you can never forget who I live with, my Ceesi, lest you court the terrible fate that awaits those unprepared for he perils they will face when . . . shaking her head and giggling, unable to keep up the jokingly dire warning, Elika says sincerely, And trust me, I know how very lucky I am to be one of the select few that our certain attorney feels free enough around to be herself, and then laughs with a nod as her girlfriend reminds her that their friend is known for something entirely different from playful, well intentioned teasing in the Mist Government's legal department, I believe that she also has a nickname or two to go along with her reputation."
Smiling and all but glowing as her lips and cheeks are pecked while Delaana tells her that she shares the same sense of happiness that Elika herself had confessed too, Elika puts her arms around her Ceesi's neck when the Hapan looks into her eyes and tells her there is no need to try and be something that she is not, and even though she understands and appreciates the sentiment she cannot resist teasingly narrowing her eyes and asking, "Are you saying you don't think I can be smooth and sophisticated, my Ceesi? Going for that sexy, sleepy eyed look and looking more sleepy than anything, Elika asks in her best intentionally exaggerated to the point of ridiculousness husky, sensual voice, See the sophistication now?"
Holding onto Delaana's hands as they get ready to leave, Elika accepts her round rimmed glasses when her girlfriend hands them to her, giving her hand a delighted squeeze when she says that she would love to come to the lakehouse later in the evening and shaking her head as she smiles and tells her Ceesi happily, "Just yourself, leaning over to peck her cheek as she says, That's all I want, all I need."
As she lifts her free hand to hail a hovertaxi once they are outside, Elika tells Delaana with a pout, "I miss you already, and then after a taxi speeder emerges from the mists hanging over the city streets and pulls up to the curb, kisses her girlfriend tenderly and holds onto her hand for as long as possible as she walks slowly backwards towards the cab and reminds Delaana, Don't forget to interrupt with messages," releasing her hand as she gets into the cab after, not wanting to say goodbye, blowing Delaana a kiss instead.
As the repulsorcab gets underway for the address she has given the driver, Elika digs around in her backpack purse for her datapad when she hears it ping to alert her to a new message having been received, laughing with a shake as she reads Crystal's message, tapping out a reply of her own as the taxi speeder ascends higher in the mists on its way to her home:

Saoirse has a hard time maintaining her intimidating act when Arezou reveals that she is a fan of Umgul University's bolo-ball team, unsure that she needs to keep the act up when the Weequay doesn't seem overly concerned about Jedi, which she seems to think they all are, dropping in on her unexpectedly. When Arezou threatens Aidan, whom she has not allowed the chance to complete a sentence so far, with a non-existant bag of shush, Saoirse has to fake a quiet cough to keep herself from cracking up, and Saoirse gives up on acting intimidating even before the Weequay tells Aidan that she will only speak with her.
After looking at Aidan to make sure he will do as Arezou asks and sees his gesture to the Weequay letting her know he will, Saoirse clears her throat and steps closer to the desk the Weequay sits behind, hoping she doesn't mess up her first official interaction with someone other than the students and teachers at the academy in the capacity of a Jedi Initiate. "It's always nice to meet a fan, Saoirse says with a somewhat nervous smile as she clasps her hands behind her back to try and keep from fidgeting, then jokes, If you have anything you want autographed, here's your chance. Reaching up and scratching the spot below the vestigial horn over her left temple, Saoirse says, As for why we're here, ma'am, you see there was this mask that was stolen, and we are trying to track down the thief that took it. We were hoping you might be able to help us, she explains, then guessing she might want to provide incentive for Arezou to help them, goes on, We think the mask is part of a bigger plot, one that involves Darksiders and that could pose a great danger to everyone on Umgul, even you. Which is why we are hoping you could use your resources to help us find the thief. Oh, she adds after realizing she hasn't given the Weequay the thief's name yet, the guy that stole the mask, his name is Lavigne."

One arched eyebrow at her consoling statement, though the smirk on the corner of his lips showed that he was amused. Forcias actually did not know if he wanted to laugh or groan altogether with that statement of hers . . . He, nonetheless, said nothing more but in his mind, he found her cute for trying to be girly and such. He was just probably silent right now or just considering on whether to answer her or not, but that wasn’t even it truly. Forcias did hear everything that she said, but he still couldn’t get over the fact that she was trying to be that girly girl girlfriend.
“Kiffar business or not . . .” Began to say Forcias before actually pulling her closer and tenderly kissing her lips. “In case you haven’t figured it out from that night at the bar, you are pretty much included in it.” Pulling his head back and just looking at her and into her eyes. Horsea shared a few things with her, and Ayla did nothing to stop her, at all. “But to answer your question if there is something you should know. No absolutely nothing, as we are also hitting dead ends. Although, just so you know also I was also informed, shortly after I had returned from Naboo, that there was no way except for the descendants of the Noble Houses to find the way to Eleuabad . . .”
There were other details linked to that, of course, and with what he had just said, he probably figured that potentially he had confused Lucine as far she potentially knew that individual, they had encountered in those catacombs had no ties with the Drakes, the Jades, or even the Solarises. Turned out that there was so to speak.
“There is a history that has been left out tied to the Zhells from what I was told, as I have told you three nations stood out amongst those battalions, and that was because they protected another House that sat on top of them all.” Shaking his head slightly and pursing his lips, Forcias knew that maybe Lucine would start connecting the dots, or maybe she’d start understanding probably with this information. “You were never given a reason why you had to protect your principle, right? And before you ask, no, she isn’t part of any of those families, but she was back then with someone they all have sworn to protect.”
“. . . That Mace has sworn to protect too.” Added Forcias after a certain pause due to what had happened to her in the past for being saved. “Elika was with the half-sister of the bastard crown prince who had a hand on his sister’s murder. Also it was no coincidence if your principle’s parents died as well.”
Forcias looked at Lucine, despite all of his explanation, she probably could see the conflicted expression he had then and there, and she would also probably understand why them as Kiffars kept a lid on all of this or definitely didn’t overtly share with just anyone at all. But this was different for Forcias, he was with her, and he knew that there were those parts of him that he just couldn’t keep hidden even If she understood why because of the so called KIFFAR BUSINESS, but it was so much more than that really as they were literally all walking into a very dangerous territory at the risk of upsetting a certain balance that could have repercussions that a few did not want at all . . . And that Forcias knew that was going to be one heavy secret for Lucine to keep.

Getting up from her desk and picking up a Limmie ball from a stand on one of the bookshelves beside her desk as Saoirse starts delivering her spiel, Arezou tosses the ball to her after she has finished, then digs around in a drawer to find a marker she also tosses to the Zabrak to autograph the Limmie ball with. Sitting down and steepling her fingers beneath her wrinkled chin, Arezou smiles in a friendly way as she asks Saoirse, "First time getting your Jedi on, yeah? Unlacing the fingers of her hands, the Weequay waggles one hand from side to side as she offers her critique in an amused and yet still openly friendly tone, You could have thrown in an honorable Arezou or two, love the sound of it personally, and left out the part where you added the even you to the end of the everyone on Umgul since it was a little redundant, but otherwise ya did good, number 8."
Leaning back in her chair and looking up as if to consult the ceiling for it's advice on how to handle the Jedi's request, Arezou is silent for a moment before she looks back at Saoirse and says, "Since I'm a fan, and since ya asked all nice, and I think ya show promise, I'm gonna help you out Miss 8. I know Lavigne by reputation, and I know where he has gone in the past to get off the grid since, she shrugs in a display of false modesty, I'm the type of gal that makes it her business to know all kinds of interesting things about who's who in this city and what kinds of things they get up to. So, what you and your buddies are going to want to do is just toddle off to Ganterville, where you will find a rundown motel called White Mists, very original I know, and in that motel you will find your boy Lavigne, one of those goofy looking Er'Kit things with, she tucks her elbows into her sides and waves her hands around, the tiny arms."
Waving her arms to shoo the Jedi away, she tells them without further ado, "Go on and scoot now, we're done, then smiles as she holds up the Limmie ball Saoirse autographed and tells the Zabrak, Great to meet you Number 8! Spinning the ball on the tip of her index finger she tells Saoirse, Now scoot along Miss 8, before I have to get my bag of scoot out. Good luck out there."

When Forcias starts talking, soon making it clear that they are venturing into both SERIOUS CONVERSATION and KIFFAR BUSINESS territory, Lucine stops her efforts at being more girly girl than usual, getting up and staring to pace around the couch instead as she listens to what Forcias shares with her now that, from what he says, she is not considered, at least so far as Horsea and Ayla are concerned a complete outsider from which things need to kept as they would be from most not inside their circle.
The fact that she is taking in all that Forcias says, and taking it seriously despite her tendency to make light of even SERIOUS things, is obvious from her silence and the furrow between her brow that deepens the more Forcias reveals to her about not only the Zhells and Noble Houses, but also about why she had been detached from her flight group to be the security detail for the geek, the reason winding up being tied into the other matters.
After Forcias has finished speaking, Lucine lifts her right hand up to rub her forehead as she admits, "That . . . is a lot to take in, and then, arching an eyebrow as she asks the first question that presents itself to her, Does the geek know any of this? About her parents? Those two questions give rise to a third, and so Lucine asks, How likely is it that she is really in any danger, after all this time?" Suddenly a lot of things start making more sense, like how the Jedi of the Mist Order take the protection of an architect so seriously, and why the Kiffar are so closely-knit and tight lipped a group, and Lucine cannot help but wonder what other revelations may lay in store as she connects more dots or is given enough additional information to do so more easily.

By the time Lucine stood up and began pacing right in front of him, Forcias had sat up though had placed his arms on his knees just looking at her. He knew that everything he had told her she definitely listened, and closely too, otherwise she wouldn’t react that way. What Forcias knew of her, Lucy usually avoided SERIOUS CONVERSATIONS, and this one wasn’t one that could be avoided nor he wanted to keep avoiding. If that got his girlfriend to understand him, but also what some people around them did what they did and explicitly withheld several things altogether or showed no indication in knowing things either.
“It is, yes.” Forcias agreed with her and understood why she would say that all the same, as this went way beyond the time they all came to Umgul honestly. To her question though about Elika knowing, Forcias shook his head before saying. “Elika, I am not certain what she knows or doesn’t know. I would assume that her closeness with Crystal gave her some insight on what the Solaris are going through.” Leaning back against the couch as Forcias just rubbed his chin in thought, he knew that probably that wouldn’t be much of an answer about what Elika knew or didn’t know. There was one certain though that was undeniable.
“Pertaining her parents, no that she is not aware, as far as she is concerned, her parents’ death was accidental. It will also remain that way until we can keep gathering enough proof. As for how likely she is in any danger even after all this time, just put it this way, no one wants to take a chance with that. As long as she is in Umgul she is blanketed so to speak, for obvious reasons.” Forcias didn’t need to raise the fact that Jedi were around and also Guardians too along with several key members in the government that could execute things quickly without too many questions.
“What you also need to know, Lucine, the one you have come to call geek, how she is now, or how she has been since you were mandated to her, she wasn’t that way before.” Forcias did not have proof, of course, to what he was saying there, but what he had been told previously by Mace was validation enough and enough proof already . . .
Forcias was very certain though that if and when Lucine found out about several other things, she’d have a clearer picture too, but that was the big problem too, it was so many things, so many events that would take several hours if not days to explain everything although he wasn’t against explaining, for he knew she’d keep this all to herself, but the question was, where to begin truly?
“Still hungry, or is there something else you want to ask me?” Asked Forcias as he reached out to her hand and gave it a squeeze while looking at her with surprisingly a very placid expression.

Several miles outside Umgul City, private villa…
“You will not believe who I have just seen.” A male human figure decently dressed posing as a wealthy tourist, who just entered where his cohorts were. Speaking of his cohorts, whom be found in a compromising position, Jirair absolutely had no shame in disrupting that little tryst that those two constantly seemed to be having. Definitely unimpressed, and unsurprised to find Nerses on his knees, Jirair often wondered why the bootlicker, an apt nickname Jirair had given Nerses, tried so hard.
Pushing Nerses face away gently, Vasilisa crossed one of her legs over the other, slyly smiling, she tilted her head aside before grabbing her glass of wine on the table next to her seat, taking a casual sip before asking. “Pray tell…”
“Can’t you see we were in the middle of something?!”
“You mean you were.” Jirair corrected, “Yes, and obviously I couldn’t care less, as I don’t answer to you.”
“Now, now boys.” Vasilisa chided them both standing up from the ottoman seat she was on letting her dark robe trail on the ground as she walked over to Jirair, placing a hand on his chest, she looked at him with an arched eyebrow. “Who?” Trailing her fingertip on his cheek as she walked around him noticing that he was in fact carrying something. “And did you repossess it?”
Nerses sneered at Jirair as he stood up to his full height, 6’0” — not so different from Jirair, grabbing his shirt from the ground and putting it on. His gaze did not leave the both of them now as he watched Vasilisa circle Jirair seductively.
Retrieving the fox mask from the silk pouch, Jirair handed it to her. “Was there any doubt?” Throwing a look at Nerses, he knew that it would probably annoy the man, but while Nerses tried to gain some favor or show some devotion, he had been doing some ground work. Glancing back at Vasilisa, his gaze found hers after she peered at the mask, “Lyov Entin.”
“So it is true, he has been captured, and alive.” Looking at the mask and laughing whilst shaking her head. “Anything else?”
“I thi—”
“Shhhh, don’t think Nerses, you might hurt yourself.” Vasilisa interrupted him in her velvety voice as she stopped behind Jirair, an arm over his shoulder, her hand holding onto the fox mask that he had just retrieved.
“What do you have in mind?” Jirair asked her as he kept his gaze onto Nerses who blankly stared before him. Jirair caught his gaze and could not help but to smirk at his impotency. Always trying to prove himself when clearly could never impose himself whatever.
“Find me a good candidate for this.” Moving the mask on his chest, she placed her chin on top of Jirair’s shoulder, “Be discreet though, I would not want the Jedi of this planet to know what we are up to…”
Ever since the trio had landed on Umgul, they all posed as wealthy human tourists who weren’t attuned to the Force. They took every precaution, dampening their presence, using other means to acquire what they needed, and now that it was in her possession again, it was time to finish what was once started…

Saroise catches the bolo-ball and marker when Arezou throws them to her, autographing the ball as the Weequay doesn't say whether or not she will help them at first, instead giving some unsolicited advice about how the request for help had been delivered. Nodding to let Arezou know that she understands the advice, Saoirse tries not to look too relieved or amused as the Weequay lets them know she will help and then tells them where they can find Lavigne after bragging about how much she knows about the city and the beings in it. Even though Arezou threatens her with a bag of scoot, making it clear that the meeting is over, Saoirse can't resist bowing and saying, "Thank you, honorable Arezou, then grinning as she lifts her hands and starts backing away and tells the Weequay, No need to get your bag of scoot, I'm going."
Catching up with Lyov and Aidan, Saoirse says, "She wasn't so bad, for a crime lord, and then grins as she asks, Can I fly us to White Mists? Taking her rock out of her pocket and tossing it from hand to hand as they make their way to the airspeeder where Bria and Veda are waiting, Saoirse asks, How are we going to handle Lavigne? Grinning, she elbows Aidan in the ribs playfully and jokes, Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll be a limmie fan too, huh?"

Lucine returns the squeeze Forcias gives her hand, smiling distractedly as he asks about dinner since she is mulling over what he has said about the geek not knowing about her parents, and if she is right about what the rest of what Forcias has revealed, or about the fact there is a possibility that she is in danger of her past coming back to haunt her. Lucine, as knowing everything about one's principle is a necessity when tasked with their protection, knew about the geek's suicide attempt and the probable reasons for it, but had not known until now that her former lover had been under the protection of not only Mace but others tied into the Zhell's, nor had she known that the geek's loved had been murdered given that the official story was that Noelani had committed suicide, meaning that the geek doesn't know about the real reason.
Groaning as she realizes that she is, perhaps as Forcias had hoped, looking at the geek in an entirely new light, Lucine points her finger at Forcias' chest as she tells him, "I'm not going to stop thinking of her as a geek because of all of this, sounding more as though she is trying to convince herself than him. Sitting down on the arm of the couch beside Forcias, Lucine suggests, Let's just order something, then asks, The ge. . . Hekekia doesn't know who Noelani really was, does she? How could she not though? Arching an eyebrow, Lucine points at Forcias again as she asks, What else aren't you telling me about all, she waves her hand around to mean all that he has shared so far, of this?"
Outside Grey Mist
"Sure, Aidan tells Saoirse when she asks to pilot the speeder to Ganterville, then gets into the back seat of the speeder and asks Bria and Veda, Anything?"
"Nope, Bria says, No comms or anything so far."
Shaking her head, Veda replies, "No one in or out either."
"Hm, Aidan says, I guess the honorable Arezou really is honorable. She's told us where to find Lavigne. Leaning forward after Lyov and Saoirse have taken their seats, Aidan tells the Zabrak, Put White Mists into the GPS and let's go ask Lavingne some questions, then looks at Lyov and asks, Same plan as before, or do you want to do the talking since you know more about the mask than I do?"
Shaking his head, Lyov says, "No, you are the lead, so you will do the talking. Almost smiling, he jokes, Unless our art thief is also a bolo-ball fan, in which case Initiate Beirne will speak to Lavigne."
Aidan nods, telling Saoirse with a smirk, "Just remember to use an honorable or two of that turns out to be the case, Miss Eight."

As Delaana, after returning from the gym, is walking down the hall to her apartment a pale, dark haired human woman in her mid thirties walks towards her, her head down as though she is going through the purse she carries for something - the keys to her apartment, perhaps. As the woman nears Delaana, she looks up and smiles as she says in Hapan, "Bonjeu madellé," which will tell Delaana that their meeting is no coincidence, and, as the greeting is a code phrase among Chume'doro, that everything that is said subsequently in Basic will have a hidden meaning beneath the surface.
Her almond shaped eyes twinkling with delight as she switches to Basic, the dark haired woman says, "We must be neighbors, which will let Delaana know that she has been watched for some time, and then says, Your red haired friend is very lovely, which will let Delaana know that the Chume'doro know of everything about her life and relationships on Umgul, and then says, She must be very religious, which has no hidden meaning as the dark haired woman says it solely to taunt Delaana. Looking up at the security camera in the hall, the dark haired woman frowns and says, Someone should let maintenance know that camera is out, which will let Delaana know that the cameras have been disabled so that the dark haired woman will leave no record of her having been here on Umgul to deliver the message she has been sent to give Delaana, and then takes an ornate scroll from her pocket and hands it to Delaana as she says, I think you dropped this, and then takes a step backwards while saying in Hapan, Avo turjeo erenedi," which when literally translated simply means have a bright day without equal, a formal way of saying farewell on Hapes.
The dark haired woman bows as she activates her stealth suit, letting Delaana know that there will be no record of her presence on any security cameras in the city either, and is gone, leaving Delaana with the scroll to reveal the rest of the message the Chume'doro - who, as a Chume'doro herself despite having abandoned her duties for whatever reasons she had for doing so, Delaana will by now suspect is almost certainly from the Purity, also known as the Internal Affairs, subdivision of the Investigative Branch of the Hapan Royal Guard - has been sent to deliver.
When Delaana opens the scroll, which is written, as one might expect it to be, in Hapan, it reads:
* brightness guard you against the night

Delaana, appearing nonplussed, and staring at the Chume'doro, had listened, the sole reaction that she had shown was the locking of her jaw and the tightening of her bag handstrap. Lana had been found, obviously they knew where she was, and the Chume'doro knew about her relationship. Taking the scroll without a word, Lana did not care about the out of commission camera. As a chume'doro herself, Lana was quite aware of the tactic, the dark haired woman was a ghost technically speaking. The only thing she had answered for the so-called dropped document was "Te'ta'xida. Thanking her for both the document, but also the farewell in a crisped tone.
Watching the woman disappear, Lana didn't stay there in the hallway longer than necessary and went into her apartment, shutting the door behind her and sliding against the door as she looked at the scroll. Breathing softly, or trying to as her heart started pounding against her chest, Lana opened the scroll to read the content of the message.
If they had found her, they certainly also knew where her brother was, which was why she commed him and only spoke in Hapan to him telling him about the Purity finding her. Lana was certain that in her search for Elika, who was presumably missing for the last three years, she might have alerted people. She should have known better, and despite all of her precautions, she knew that she could not turn her back on this. Lana gave all the details to her brother and paused when a certain someone was brought up.
And that was where Lana was so conflicted, and also angry.
However she knew she had to face the music and in order to protect Elika, her Shakal, Lana knew what she had to do... Standing up and placing the scroll on the table, she had five days. But she knew that she couldn't drag this, and she also knew that she had to tell the truth to Elika about herself, about who she really was. Lana knew that when her Shakal told her that she had to leave, she'd be heartbroken, and so will she.
Pushing a button on a wall which slides open on the side, Lana laid her eyes on the armor that she used to wear...

Forcias had been typing on his datapad to order in some food, after Lucine tried to convince him or herself that she wouldn’t change her views about Elikapeka. However, knowing her, he was very certain that he had shaken her core belief about the Architect, and for that, he was not sorry at all. It was so much more than a nickname at this point, it was so much more about Elika’s character, and what was on the surface right now was just a byproduct of what Elika had to endure, or even had come to believe.
“No, Elikapeka did not know, or at least I do not think so.” Replied Forcias with slight uncertainty, but from what he did know, he could presume that fact. “What I was told, Noelani ran away from home to start her own life, a life that led her to Naboo.” He looked at Lucy knowing that she would understand that running away meant hiding her identity, her true self. “Perhaps at some point, Elika did find out about Noelani, perhaps the Lost Princess, as she was referred to, told her. But that was potentially and also most likely the reason she had been tracked down. Found and murdered.”
Leaning back against the couch and breathing softly, Forcias furrowed his eyebrows looking at her. “Do you know how hard it is for Mace to be close to her, to not give in to peering into Elika’s mind? To see what she actually knows and what caused a certain fracture of her personality, when everything she tried to do was to get our former Senator to unlock his mind fully and only to find out that some key part of his life has been sealed by potentially the same person who has sealed her apprentice’s mind?” Asked Forcias dubiously and rhetorically, and he was pretty sure that she wouldn’t understand where he was going with this or what this had to do with anything. Thus Forcias had to let her know about that time they all went to Naboo, the retreat which coincided with the funeral of Elika’s parents. On the day they all got there, Lara Drake who had no idea who she truly was at first started to remember some memories as they descended into Naboo, probably one of the twisted doings of whatever was down in Eleuabad that started to crack the seal into the eldest Drake sibling’s mind.
Filling her in, in some details that she had come to miss during that said retreat on why the Senator of Umgul back then left the planet before everyone, because he had been investigating the apparent accident. But also some other revelations on that retreat when all of them had realized that in fact Crystal was a Solaris despite her last name, and had no idea that she had younger brothers. A validation that probably had been needed to be certain but one that her father did absolutely everything to hide as far as sealing her sensitivity to the Force.
Forcias also filled Lucy in on how her sensitivity to the Force had been revealed, exactly when all of the descendants of the Triumvirate Noble Houses as they have come to be known were all together, at the same place, at the same time, during her birthday. One that he or Lucine did not get to see as that was the evening when they both first got together.
There had been a slight peek from Mace that night in Elika’s mind when the former was watching some events unfolding through Horsea’s mind of what could happen, or what wouldn’t but it was so muddled with them together than Mace had to prioritize and stop Crystal from crushing someone’s hand with the Force.
Forcias at some point stood up and got the take out he had ordered and placed it on the coffee table right there.
“Elika’s memory was sealed, that much Mace can say, and that is also how much I know, as for whomever sealed her mind, she doesn’t think that Jade had the ability to do so, at least not alone, he must have had some help from Crystal’s father back then.”
Taking out the burger from the plastic bag, Forcias looked at her and finally said to her. “This is one of the reasons why it’s never a good idea for the three houses to be together on a same planet too. Especially now that all of the descendants are attuned to the Force.”

Accepting the burger Forcias hands her, Lucine is quiet for a while, mulling over all that he has revealed about the Three Houses, the Lost Princess, and Hekekia's past - which turns out to be wrapped up in the first two matters in ways that have persisted to the present day for reasons Lucine isn't sure she really wants to think about too much given that the idea of FATE having so heavy a role in things goes against her belief in ordinary beings having a more active role in what their lives become. Lucine, who grew up poor and in a less than ideal family situation that she only endured because of Jesse Sunsoar and his family's having all but adopted her by the time she was in her teens, considers herself to be essentially self-made, having survived her childhood and gone on to make something of herself, finding strength and independence within despite what she had endured, and so the idea that FATE could have played a hand in her life, as it is almost impossible to deny that it has in Hekekia's, is disconcerting to say the least, especially when Forcias, who has come to mean so much to her, is so bound up in the events that suggest FATE is a more omnipresent force in everyone's lives than she would like to believe.
When Lucine had first met Hekekia after being tasked with the architect's protection, Lucine found it easy to dismiss her as just another entitled, spoiled rich girl without any care in the world; not unlike the girls from Lucine's high school years with their perfect hair and teeth that teased her about her brown bagged lunches, clothes that were always worn and frayed and a year or two out of fashion and her lower class Corellian accent. The more time she spent as Hekekia's bodyguard, the harder Lucine found it to deny the architect was, while still a neurotic, helpless civvie, not at all like the spoiled girls that made her life even more miserable than it was in high school, but even then found it easy to make fun of her principle's artsy fartsy career and quirky habits; not so much as from a cruel streak in her nature as it was to enable Lucine to keep some professional distance between her and the woman she was tasked with protecting, as little sense as it made that an architect would need protection. Now that she knows even more about the reason's for Hekekia's quirks, Lucine finds it harder to not only pity her for the way she seems to have been caught up in something she has no idea she is wound up in, but also to begrudgingly respect the woman for having gone through all that she has without being even more neurotic than she is.
Tossing a fried potato slice at Forcias, Lucine explains, "That's for making me having to think more about Hekekia than I ever wanted to on a night off, sending a second slice at him as she says, and that's for making me think about FATE more than I ever like thinking about it, and sending a last slice at his head as she says with a crooked grin, and that's just because I want to," munching on her burger as she muses more on what she has learned.
"It's funny, she says as she wipes her lips with a paper napkin, I always thought all the weird shit that happens to Hekekia was just lousy luck, you know? But with all the, she waves her burger around in a circle to indicate all that Forcias has revealed, crap you just info-pooped on me, it sounds like it could be tied up in all the Houses and Princess stuff somehow, maybe. Pursing her lips in thought as she tries to figure out a better way to express what she means, Lucine asks, I mean, how weird is it that she picks Umgul of all places to hang up her arty farty shingle, and then winds up being besties with Kayne, who is a part of the Houses crap? It's like she can't escape from being a part of it, even if she was made to forget she was a part of so doesn't even have any idea about how she was and is, ya know?"
Tossing another potato slice at Forcias, Lucine groans, "Ugggh, my head hurts from thinking about all of this. Thanks a lot, bae, she says while tossing another slice at Forcias, then shakes her head and says, And poor Macey, I mean to know all this and not be able to do anything about it and have to see Hekekia since she's friends with the Mist Order and be reminded of it all and how she can't help Hekekia and be reminded by that about failing to protect the Princess. That can't be easy."
Umgul City - 23rd Precinct
Setting a paper cup of caf from the precinct's crummy caf machine on her partner's desk, Nazani says, "Looks like you need that, you're still wearing the same clothes from yesterday. Don't you ever sleep?"
Cleite, ignoring the caf and personal question and neither looking nor sounding as exhausted as she should be, hands Nazani a datapad as she says, "Think I found our vic, explaining, Forensic facial reconstruction results came in late last night."
Scrolling through the datapad's files to look at the images from both the facial reconstruction specialists and the holopics from the missing person file Kallas believes is their murder victim, Nazani says, "That's it alright," and begins to look over the file to see what it can tell them.
"It, Cleite says dryly, has a name. Ayodele Ibori."
Nodding, still going through the file, Nazani says, "I see that. Massage therapist seems like an odd career choice for it . . . her . . . whatever. Guess the next step is we head to TaSpa! and see if they can tell us anything about Ibori's life that gets us closer to finding our killer."
Standing up and grabbing her suit coat from the back of her chair, Cleite hands her partner the cup of caf and says, "I don't drink caf, then heads for the exit onto the precinct's rooftop landing pads as she adds, Let's go. No time like the present."
"What kind of a detective doesn't drink caf?" Nazani asks in an amused tone as she follows her partner.

Pumping her fists in the air excitedly when Aidan agrees to let her do the piloting, Saoirse gets into the driver's seat of the speeder and buckles in, familiarizing herself with the controls as she listens to Veda and Bria report that they didn't see or hear anything suggesting that Arezou was double-crossing them by warning Lavigne they were coming after him. "Maybe, Saoirse says as she gets the speeder running and starts taking it up into the higher levels of traffic headed towards Ganterville after putting the name of the motel Lavigne is holed up into the speeder's navicomputer, telling her that Darksiders might be involved and there was a possible danger to everyone in Umgul convinced her to help us, grinning as she turns around and tells Aidan, Your paranoid imagination might have come in handy! Not, she adds quickly, that I think you're paranoid, just . . ." fortunately for her, she hears a speeder honking at her and has to swerve before rear ending a hover bus in front of them before she can put her foot further into her mouth.
Going on with her piloting as though she had not just killed them all, Saoirse makes a mental note to keep her eyes on the traffic around them as she changes the subject and tells Lyov with a grin, "Who knew being a bolo-ball player would be such a door opener, huh? It would be pretty funny if Lavigne was a fan too, she says even though she can't imagine they would get so lucky twice, and then tells Aidan, I'll be sure to toss in a few flattering adjectives if he is though," and then starts taking the speeder down through the mists and layer of traffic as they get closer to Ganterville.
Setting their speeder down across the street from White Mists, Saoirse shuts its repulsorlifts off and looks at the run down motel as she asks Aidan, "You me and Lyov again, or did you want to switch things up this time?"

While Forcias was no way a mind reader like the Vos cousins were when they both wanted to peer into a person’s mind, he surprisingly started hearing Lucine’s thoughts which made him look at her. He just looked at her features while still holding onto his burger. Did not unwrap it just yet for he was actually motionless at that moment . . .
Until he was brought out of that moment when he got hit by a fried potato, picking it up but was soon followed by two others being thrown in his direction each time she explained the reason why she was doing it.
Smirking as he just ended up eating those fried potatoes, Forcias looked at her with a very placid expression before shaking his head. “It is not weird per se, sweetheart.” Explained Forcias about Hekekia and Kayne meeting on this planet, “The Senator had a hand on that. Which from what I do know infuriated the Solaris patriarch.” Though one could say that both Elikapeka and Crystal had a choice to either deny, or accept the job offer from the Senator who actually from memory used Jesse Sunsoar as proxy. But that aside, it was done, both women had chosen to work here.
It was also the starting foundation of what had come to be now. The Vyridians who had come here to assist their friend before had no idea what they were stepping into, although Mace had been the one who had found them and pointed them in this direction too. The rest just happened naturally.
“But I do understand what you mean about fate. In the end it’s about what you believe but also when you have been in this for a long time, attuned or not to the Force, there is still that undeniable fact that something brought them together.” That was what he thought at least, after all it was also fate if he had met the Aestrea siblings before, and just like Sunsoar for Lucine, the Aestreas were also that to him. They took him in, and just got him out of that hellhole he was in, in Kiffex.
Finally deciding on eating his burger, Forcias got another fried potato tossed at it, which got him to lower his burger and just taking her hand that were hovering over those said fried potato. “Will you please stop assaulting me with those innocent fried potatoes.” Said Forcias with a smirk before pecking her forehead tenderly before adding on playfully. “And don’t let Mace hear you calling her that way. She doesn’t really like it even if might be growing on her.”
Chuckling at the thought and shaking his head, Forcias finished the remainder of his burger, and tossed the wrapped into the bag. “Now you know why the Kiffars keep shits to themselves, and why probably all the Jedi on this planet never explain when it’s not their place to explain as it does not concern just them.”

Aidan, Veda and Bria all have wide eyes and pounding hearts as they look at one another, still all braced for impact, after Saoirse nearly rear ends a hoverbus only to start chattering away to Lyov as though nothing had almost happened, Aidan so relieved to be alive that he forgets all about the comment about his alleged paranoia. "You're piloting us from now on," Aidan whispers to Bria, who nods an enthusiastic agreement to the idea.
Lyov, stroking his bearded chin with just a tiny hint of relief that they had not crashed and even possibly amusement elicited by Aidan's whispered suggestion about who will be on piloting duty going forward, tells Saoirse after she muses about the possibility their art thief might share Arezou's affinity for Limmie, "That would indeed be amusing, Miss 8, and let our interaction with Aresou be a lesson for you; it is always helpful to find common ground when speaking with the types of beings you might encounter in the course of performing your duties as a Jedi. Not all situations require a lightsaber for a successful resolution."
Giving Saoirse a thumbs up as she says she will be sure you use her adjectives when speaking with Lavigne, Aidan says, trying to emulate Lyov's instructive tone and sounding more nervous than anything since Saoirse could get distracted from her piloting again if she isn't kept on task, "That's great, um, and another good lesson for you is to remember that flattery is always a good conversational tactic. And it is always important to focus on the task at hand, so why don't you focus on piloting for now."
Breathing a sigh of relied when they are safely parked on the ground, Aidan says in reply to Saoirse's question about who will be doing what, "You, Lyov and I will find and speak with Lavigne, then tells Bria, You stay with the speeder in case our prey tries to elude us, finally telling Veda, Go behind the motel and watch for any attempt Lavigne might make to run from us. Getting out of the speeder, Aidan flaps his wings to take flight while telling Bria, Get in the pilot's seat in case Lavigne tries to escape capture in a speeder," which will make it easier to have her do the piloting going forward as well.
Once Veda is heading off for her position behind the motel and Bria is in the pilot's seat, Aidan tells Lyov and Saoirse, "Let's go get our art thief."

Arching an eyebrow when Forcias reveals that Hekekia and Kayne's first meeting was no accident, Lucine asks, "Is there anything the Senator didn't have a hand in? Pausing with her burger halfway to her mouth as a potentially worrisome thought crosses her mind, Lucine lifts a fried potato slice in warning as she asks, You aren't going to tell me that you and I were pushed towards one another by anyone, are you?"
Biting into her burger, Lucine talks with her mouthful as she replies to Forcias' musings about the Force or maybe FATE having led all of the players directly and indirectly involved in the Three Houses business together on Umgul, asking, "But why though? I mean, assuming the Force has a will or a design or whatever, what is it trying to do by getting all the players together on Umgul? So they have one another to watch their backs? So they are an easier target for the opposition? Swallowing and finally no longer talking with her mouthful, Lucine asks, You know more about the Force and how it works than I do, obviously, so when does it quit being coy and let you and the other Forcies know what the deal is? I mean, if you and the other Forcies are supposed to let it guide you, shouldn't it, you know, actually guide you all at some point? Because, she nibbles on a friend potato slice, all it seems to be doing from where I'm sitting, sorry if it sounds blasphemous or whatever, is screwing around with everyone."
Assaulting Forcias with another potato slice when asked not to, a mischievous smile on her face as she lets him know she is always happy to be contrary, Lucine says, "I only call her that in the safety of my own home, thanks, shaking her head as she burps before moaning theatrically, It's like you think I don't have any manners or something, bae."
Nodding as she finishes off her burger and talks while eating again, Lucine nods a few times as she says, "I get it, I get it, then finishes chewing and frowns as she says, And now that I know all this crap I get to start keeping it to myself and never explaining anything either, lifting her arms up in mock celebration as she says, Yayyyy me, then balls up her burger wrapper and tosses it at Forcias as she jokingly tells him in a sarcastic tone, You're just the gift that keeps on giving, aren't you, bae, chuckling and leaning forward to kiss his lips tenderly after assuring him, But I think I'll keep you anyway."
