Hallowed Grounds
Ayodele had a point, but still, it was, at least for him, the polite thing to do and say: asking if he could join her than just sit down immediately like he owned the place he supposed. Holding her gaze with a sheepish smile on his features, Franz sat down after removing his scarf and putting it on hi lap. "It has been a while for me too, so I have no idea how it really works." Franz said thoughtfully before briefly closing his eyes, on his thoughts, if she were to look deeply, at the forefront, yes he would be nervous due to the fact that for some reason she did attract him and he certainly did not want to mess up, behind those thoughts of his, of course he wanted to be here and of course he was glad to be meeting her at this location, but behind he felt guilty for the simple reason that he was here somewhat being selfish, at least that was what he thought, when he should be there for his cousins with the news denigrating them somehow... But he was here now, and he supposed he would have to answer for the consequences later...
Snapping out of his thoughts as Franz continued to listen to her speak, he actually did like the sound of her voice and her eyes were just enthralling, Franz nodded when she asked for forgiveness. "There is also no need to apologize, and I understand completely. I was just thinking that perhaps I should have made my way here earlier than I should have." Franz explained with a warm smile and soon he watched her leaning forward and just told him in a way that he was somewhat acting ridiculously, at least it was how he saw himself he guessed. Ridiculous, right now. But that aside, how could he not believe her right now, the sound of her voice, the tone. It was there but then again maybe he was being biased. Although, to him she had a way of expressing herself and he was curious about that, but he couldn't just dive in and ask questions about origins and whatever. That was completely ridiculous.
"I, uh..." Franz started to say as he scratched the back of his head and just wrapped his hand around his coffee cup to take a sip of his vine-caf. He just needed that little pause, although he had no idea how to say this, so he just jumped right in, so to speak. "I am nervous because not only I haven't done this in a while but, it's just that I do not want to say the wrong thing at the wrong time, that may blow this." He sincerely said as he gestured to his coffee, of course that meant spending time with her. He did want to get to know her, and he did want to spend more time with her. "If I may ask... Are you from here originally?" He asked dubiously with a warm smile before adding. "If I had known that you had always been there, I would have asked to be drag there at TaSpa! a while ago." It was a joke, but there was some veracity in it of course at least his tone said those...

23rd Precinct – 3rd Floor, Interrogation Room 3
All in all, it was all Atlantis needed to know and perhaps get the reassurance that he could really trust her to keep it for her own and keep everything that he might come to tell her for herself because that wasn't just about him. Atlantis had been known for a while now to be someone to keep everything close to his chest. He only had one person to blame, or thank for that. Now he was doing everything he could and anything within his power to safeguard everything he had come to discover and to personally witness because this wasn't just about him now. Closing his eyes momentarily and thinking of the best solution, he actually found that relatively quickly, which was why he just looked at Madieke with a thoughtful expression.
"If you can extricate yourself from here temporarily, now would be a good time." Atlantis informed her, he knew Andros he disliked putting things off even if he was that tired. That wasn't just about Andros or Atlantis, this was everything about they had decided to protect one way or the other. Andros had more of doing things in the background approach but still, despite the man's overall demeanor, Atlantis did not believe Andros had done those things, especially whether it was good or bad in a way, his own judgment would come, not from Atlantis but from someone else that they equally feared somehow.
"You'll understand soon enough but for now, I'll be taking a secondary exit and meet me at the government building in a couple of minutes." Atlantis said knowing fully that the press was still outside and he clearly did have to play with the mist if not summon a doppelganger to put the press off, although his second option, it was not possible especially with that lawyer's allegations. Atlantis stood up right and opened the door to leave the interrogation room and he glanced around momentarily before going upwards, knowing that potentially he could probably jump from building to building in order to avoid the press with the mist cloaking him.
All he could think right now was that they were back to square one again with the press, although for Atlantis' case, it was no longer his love life they were focused on but what he might have done possibly. Atlantis made sure that he had not been followed and found himself back into the City but also next to the Mist Government building at least next to a secluded spot as after all he would have to meet Madieke, not a lot of people could have direct access to the Vice-Governor's office unless an outsider was accompanied by a select few, although now that he was more focused on his surroundings, he had that noticeable frown as he had a sense on the fact that Franz was nearby and not with them, huh?

Hallowed Grounds
Nodding when Franz reveals that his nervousness stems from the fact that it has been some time since he has found himself in a situation such as that they are in as well as from the fear he might say something to ruin the chances it might lead them on to other grounds, Ayodele smiles and says, "Beginnings can be such delicate and perilous things, yes. As we know now that we are both out of practice, then, I propose that we agree to be more forgiving of any little missteps we might make, for at least a little while. How does that sound to you?" Ayodele can understand Franz's concerns, her experiences and observations of others having taught her that much can hang on what one says or does in the infancy of any relationship, and how easily possibilities can be extinguished by a poorly timed or chosen word or act. Hesitance, Ayodele has also learned, can be just as fatal to possibility, and so she hopes that her proposal will help Franz to at least begin to be more at ease.
"Originally? No, Ayodele answers Franz's question about whether Umgul is her birthplace, I came here from Polus only five months ago. Smiling and lifting a hand in a languid gesture, Ayodele says in a playfully light tone, So it is perhaps fortunate that your friends did not drag you to TaSpa! sooner Franz, for had they done so you might have asked one of my colleagues to join you for caf long ago, and we might not be here now. Frowning impishly at the the thought, her dark eyes on his, Ayodele, who does indeed resemble the Pyn'gani of Polus even though she is not originally of that world or of that species, says, That would be a shame, at least for me. But, Ayodele smiles brightly, luckily for me your friends only succeeded in dragging you to TaSpa! today. I must thank them should I chance to meet them. Holding her mug of spiced caf in between her hands, Ayodele asks Franz, What of you? Umgul, if I am not mistaken about your accent, is not your homeworld? No, Ayodele narrows her eyes as though concentrating on her memories of the different accents she is familiar enough with to place, and then smiles as she guesses, your accent is that of a Coruscanti, is it not? Her tone making her interest in learning more of Franz evident, after Ayodele learns whether her guess about Franz's accent was correct she then asks, How is it that you came to find yourself here on Umgul?"

Designs. Lead. Remotely.
"See you there," Madieke says, a faint ghost of one of her almost smiles appearing briefly at the corner of her lips. The cloak and dagger seems unnecessary, but she can understand why Atlantis would want to turn to it with the press bound to be hungry for anything related to the ongoing events. The case is no longer a simple murder investigation either, not with the possibility it was the opening move in a larger plan with designs on discrediting the UPD, Mist Government, and Mist Order looming over everything ever since the press entered the picture. There is still a slight chance they are only being paranoid, and Madieke knows it may only be that Atlantis' paranoia has infected her, but she has a feeling deep in her gut that the Jedi, even if he has some of the details wrong, is truly on to something.
After giving him a few minutes lead, Madieke dismisses the detectives, telling them that they are calling it a day and will meet again in the morning. Pulling her trench coat on, Madieke leaves the precinct out of a back entrance and, falling back on her training, plans a route to the Mist Government Building that will enable her to spot and lose any tail that may have been put on her. By the time she meets back up with Atlantis near the building Madieke is certain she has not been followed, having spotted no one tailing her that she would have needed to lose. The secluded spot Atlantis has chosen reminds her uncomfortably of the scenes in countless holovids where a supposed ally lures someone to just such a spot to kill them, and she almost wonders if she has made a mistake in not letting anyone know where she was going until she snaps out it and realizes it is only her paranoia speaking.
"Wasn't followed, Madieke says, not trying to be funny since there is really nothing even remotely amusing about what might be going on. Glancing at the Mist Government Building, Madieke nods towards it with her chin and asks, Ready?"

Hallowed Grounds
Her suggestion was agreeable to him definitely, and he could perfectly go with that. He smiled warmly this time and inclined his head in agreement although he also added an addendum, for his case at least. "But if I do mess up, will you please let me know?" Franz asked sincerely, above all else, Franz preferred honesty all the way and he did not mind one bit being told off for whatever mishap he would do. It was how he functioned, and that wouldn't change at all.
Fact was, he was more at ease now, her suggestion helped him relax and cast away most of his nervousness. It would at least allow him to focus much more on what she was saying, not that he wasn't focusing before, but now he no longer that much in mind that potentially what he may ask or say was the bad thing. Franz did not hesitate to place his arms on the table and just keep on looking at her as she replied to his question. Polus, that was literally an ice world, while Franz was fine with the cold and its harshness, he couldn't really think of himself for being there for a long time. But that aside, he guessed that indeed he had been fortunate enough to having been dragged at TaSpa! earlier and not before, although before maybe he wouldn't be interested, considering that back then, there was someone he guessed, but that aside, this was now and before it was then. "I do not usually do that, it takes a lot to captivate my attention." Franz told her sincerely. It was the truth, the moment he had seen her walk in his direction when Cosimo had announced his type of massage, he had completely shut out Cosimo's voice and just looked at her. It was the eyes and just the way she walked...
But that aside, Franz leaned forward slightly while he continued to look at her with a grin. "I am also glad that they dragged me to that place," Chuckling at the memory when Elika just out of the blue added him to that spa session yesterday, he remembered whining playfully, but he supposed that now he really should be thanking her, thanking Crystal and Lily too for pushing him somehow also, plus he couldn't forget that skilled Toydarian waiter, Franz was guessing that the man had done it on purpose. Though the fact that Ayodele wished to meet them maybe, that caused Franz to nibble his lower lip briefly in thought. "I do not want to force you or anything, but if you are free tomorrow, if it's actually your day off, would you want to meet them or is this too soon to actually ask you this?" Franz asked with uncertainty, he really did not want to push his luck, and for now he was omitting the fact that it was supposed to be a pool party or whatever and barbecue back at their place, but he supposed that he should probably let her know now, so that she could really think about it. "There is a catch though," Franz made a face at that and took a deep breath. "It's somewhat a pool party, although you are under no obligation to be in a swimsuit, and the sun will be guaranteed." He told her as surprising as that sounded since the mist was omnipresent on the planet.
Letting her think about that, for the time being, Franz just decided to field out her question. It was true, despite traveling to different planets and staying at some location longer sometimes, his accent never left him. Come to think of it, he, Atlantis and Andros kept their accents, although it was more prominent for the Vyridian twins when they were exhausted. "Homeworld, Coruscant indeed and what brought me here?" Franz asked rhetorically with a faint smile, his connection to the Vyridian brothers, that was a fact considering that he remembered focusing onto Andros mainly back then and he arrived here. "Family and a desire to help friends also. It was the least I could do..." Franz explained with a faint smile, although right now he was feeling a little guilty again because he wasn't helping his family at all especially with what had occurred that very afternoon. But managing to keep his emotions and facial expression in check, Franz looked back at her and smiled warmly. "What about you, how is it that you came to find yourself on this misty planet?"

Hallowed Grounds
Ayodele's laughter when Franz, apparently not yet as reassured by her proposal to be forgiving as she might have hoped, asks to be informed of any missteps he might chance to make, is delighted, rich and earthy without any trace of mockery, and when it ends she smiles gently to make it unmistakably clear that her intent was not to make light of his concerns while she take a cool hand from her mug to rest on his as she says sincerely, "Though I find it highly unlikely that you would commit any such offense, Franz, I promise to let you know straight away should you do so. Patting his hand and returning her own to its original place around her mug of spiced caf, Ayodele adds the condition, Provided, naturally, that you vow to do the same for me should I commit any solecisms myself."
The warily skeptical look that Ayodele gives Franz when he claims that his attentions are not something easily captured is merely playful, but her smile when he reaffirms his earlier statement that he feels fortunate to have been dragged along to TaSpa! by his friends is genuine for, his obviously lingering mistrust of his ability to acquit himself well in her company aside, she finds him engaging and interesting in a way that she has not found another being in some time. "Too soon? Ayodele asks with an amused smile, her head tilted to the side inquisitively when Franz asks if she would like to meet his friends the following day, Your invitation suggests that it is not too soon for you to have already decided that you would like me to meet them, or them to meet me, and so, as you are the better judge of when the time for such a meeting is right, I bow, she bows at the waist with a playful smile, to your ruling, and would be glad to attend the party, even with the catch. The company one keeps, especially those counted as one's closest friends, in Ayodele's estimation, can often reveal much about them, nor does it escape her that the invitation indicates that Franz has, for whatever reason, found her worthy of meeting them. I am already looking forward to it," Ayodele says sincerely, pleased that they will see one another again, and that she will have the chance to meet Franz's friends, among whom he is likely to be more at ease, which should be interesting for them both.
Pursing her lips with a nod after Franz, with a reticence she supposes she should not find too surprising given that they have only just met, explains how it is that he came to be on Umgul, Ayodele answers his question about what brought her to Umgul only slightly less reservedly, a playful smile on her lips as she says truthfully, though not necessarily completely, "I decided to see if I found mist more agreeable than ice and snow. So far I have no regrets about the trade, Ayodele says while inclining her head towards Franz with a smile to convey that meeting him is proving so far to be among those things she considers to have gained in the exchange of one world for another. Lifting her mug of spiced caf to her lips, merely miming the act of drinking it, Ayodele sets the mug back down and dabs her lips with a napkin before resting her chin on top of her hands while leaning forward with an impish smile to ask, And what is it that you do when you are not being dragged to Taspa! against your will, or so you would have me believe, by your many, rather striking female friends, Franz?"

Hallowed Grounds
Franz tilted his head from side to side, as his this words that very morning indicated that he really was capable to say things without thinking about it. Although he had an amused grin on his lips and just when he was about to reply, he felt her hand patting his, despite the coolness of it, he found it somewhat comforting, as weird that sounded he supposed. He had already felt her cool hand earlier back at TaSpa! and now he was feeling it again, it caused his to briefly look down with a smile before looking back at her with a sheepish smile. "From you?" Franz asked with a playful arched eyebrow. "I really do not see you commit such things with how very articulate you are compared to myself." There was some truth there, he was brought up in the slums of Coruscant although he did get his training in the Temple there, and everything that went with it. But compared to the guys he grew up with, he really found nothing extraordinary about the way he spoke or just expressed himself although her conditions were agreeable to him, which was why he nodded with a warm smile again.
Chuckling softly at the thought of him being the better judge of it, from a perspective he guessed that he was, sure, but then again he did get the expressed permission from that relentless lawyer to begin with and it would allow him to have some reprieve from her traumatization tomorrow, he supposed, that was if that was even possible. He knew that he was bound to hear things, although it was nothing that he hadn't heard before, but really Lily just had ways in how she expressed herself that would catch him off guard but that aside, Franz was genuinely happy that Ayodele had accepted his invitation for tomorrow. "I am glad that you have accepted." He sincerely said as he locked his eyes with hers before smirking briefly, although perhaps he should warn her about Lily but then again he did not know. "Just let me know what is the best time for me to come and pick you up tomorrow?" Franz asked sheepishly before tilting his head on the side briefly. "I already cannot wait for tomorrow..." Picking up his coffee again, Franz took a sip of his drink and enjoyed the beverage, but what he did enjoy the most right now was her company indeed.
Smiling clearly as she told him that she was glad for that trade, Franz inclined his head and leaned briefly forward with a charming smile this time, although he wasn't aware that he was smiling that way. "I sure am glad that you have decided to take that leap." Grinning at the thought, after all he figured that if it weren't for the women he was with earlier, and the fact that she had moved from Polus, he guessed that they would have never met at all. He thanked the Force silently but then came the question, was he going to answer truthfully or just half a truth? He had no idea, but from her, he clearly depicted no deceit at all with the way she was interacting with him right now, with the way they were just casually talking. Although, from a big perspective he preferred to really stay under the radar of the press, of the people, lest he attracted too much attention from the press and whoever that took a big interest to his cousins. "All of my striking female friends, as you have put it," Franz began to say playfully although it was probably also one way to perhaps let her know that she had nothing to worry about them at all. "Are all spoken for, and for quite some time now, they are like sisters to me, but when I am not with them, I happen to be teaching." That was the truth, although if she did ask him point blank what he was teaching he would probably tell her unfiltered, he was just comfortable in her presence right now. "I was dragged, although when I think about it, I did not have that much of a choice, I suppose that I am glad to have found myself in the position." He playfully said with a chuckle, for obvious reasons again as he was here now in her company and he clearly was enjoying it.

Hallowed Grounds
Ayodele laughs merrily when Franz suggests that because she is articulate he finds it unlikely she is capable of impropriety, smiling as she lifts a hand to gesture languidly and says in an amused tone, "I shall have to be extra careful then, Franz, so as to not disabuse you of that notion, though I assure you that I am no more immune from the occasional gaucherie than any other. Uncurling the index finger of the hand resting beneath her chin, Ayodele taps the side of her jaw as, answering Franz's question about what time he should pick her up on the morrow, she smiles as she points out, You have not yet said when the party is to begin, so why don't we say noon? I do, she adds so as not to inconvenience him unnecessarily, own my own airspeeder, however, Franz, and so can find my way to wherever it is the party will be held in case flitting back and forth to ferry me to and fro is too inconvenient? Though Ayodele has lived enough to have witnessed the way some humanoid social customs have come into being only to be replaced by others, the custom of an invited guest bringing a gift to a gathering when invited has survived untouched, and so she asks, Is there anything in particular I should bring? Wine, or an appetizer of some kind perhaps?" Wrapping both hands around her mug of spiced caf, Ayodele listens, her eyes on his, as Franz speaks of his friends, smiling with merely playful skepticism when he makes a point of assuring her that the women he was with are as sisters to him, and then with genuine delight when he tells her that he is a teacher. A noble calling, Ayodele says, lifting her mug and miming the act of taking a drink from it. Setting the mug down on her saucer, Ayodele dabs her lips with a napkin and, as there are many kinds of teachers Franz might be, asks in a genuinely interested tone, so that she might learn more about him than what little his job title reveals, What is it that you teach, Franz?"

Hallowed Grounds
Franz laughed genuinely when Ayodele told him that she wasn't immune from any occasional gaucheries, though he really could not picture that at all but he guessed there was only one way to find out. "I suppose that I will have to stick around you in order to witness that." He told her with a warm smile before taking another sip of his coffee. It was indeed an enchanting perspective, although he had no idea how she would really feel about that if and when she found out what he really did for a living, if he put it that way... He guessed that he could think about that later on when it really did come up. Now he was more focused on that party for tomorrow, she did have a point, he did not give a time at all, because he clearly did not know what time it would actually begin. Smiling sheepishly, Franz scratched the back of his head and pursed his lips thoughtfully. "That is true..." He tried to rack his brain for that to remember if it was even brought up at some point back at the spa, but he couldn't recall at all. "Truth be told, I have no idea, at all." He chuckled nervously and shook his head before smiling again, he figured he might have had a good idea. "How about I do pick you up at that said time you have provided me and it'll be easier, if it isn't even at that time to begin with, we could just hang out in the meantime?" Franz suggested with a sheepish smile before shaking his head to let her know that it wasn't necessary at all considering that he more or less knew the women but if it helped Ayodele, he supposed that was up to her. "Knowing them, they might say that it's unnecessary but you'll be the better judge of that, although they do have a lot of wine."
Franz knew that the women did love their wine and they had different tastes but they could always deviate and adapt for whenever someone wanted to have this or that type of wine. But considering that it was settled for the time being, Ayodele would know best he guessed, he currently had more in mind that question of teaching. Franz looked at her silently for a moment, maybe he was too silent but right now he had a thoughtful expression on his features. Usually he would come up with something to define what he was teaching, but he preferred being honest for this right now and he clearly did not know why, maybe because he somewhat trusted her for this. "I think that it would be better to show you." Despite his somewhat conflicted gaze, he was still going to take that leap, and it was all on him if he was going to get burned, but at least he would have tried and he could have said that he had been honest. Placing his cup of coffee in the middle of the table, he briefly looked around to check that no one was really looking at them and when he got that certitude, Franz turned his hand exposing the palm of his hand and lifted briefly the liquid from his cup with the Force, he kept it suspended above the rim of the cup for a moment before returning the coffee into the cup. Finally he looked at her, knowing that this was the first time he exposed himself as such that much to someone who barely knew him, to some he barely knew. He lowered his tone and leaned forward in her direction to tell her. "The Force, at the Academy here..." He leaned back against his seat and picked his cup of coffee, and potentially he was waiting for a backlash, maybe it was because he could be the pessimistic kind when it came to him...

Atlantis had been leaning against the building wall right there and he was waiting patiently while smoking a cigarette. He really needed to find a way to detach himself somehow from all of this, and he potentially had a way to do so, but he would get to that after depending on how the meeting went with Andros. Although he did not foresee anything from that meeting that would enable him to proceed with his plans. Sighing softly, he wondered if that would even work to begin with, hopefully it would, after all he figured that maybe he did not have that much of a good standing with the others with how that meeting back then had turned out...
Taking a drag of his cigarette, Atlantis blew the excess of smoke before putting it out and disposing the butt into the nearest trash can, and it was then and there that he saw that Madieke had arrived and he smiled gratefully for the information she had provided him. Maybe he had been paranoid, and he guessed that yes he really wasn't comfortable with how exposed he had turned out to be. His ability to see through the mist, something that he had been working on for a while now, to be exposed that way, not that he would hide it from others that desired to be taught what he knew, but he did not want people to find it that way, at all.
"Mhmm, let's go..." Atlantis said softly with a tired tone but still he did smile faintly because he couldn't believe that potentially he was about to reveal many things, that originally wasn't just about him, but someone else, and he hated doing that. Pushing away from the wall, Atlantis motioned for her to follow him. Thankfully the hallway wasn't too crowded, considering that it was the weekend but there were a few government workers in the building. Atlantis inclined his head with a faint smile each time that someone looked at him and smiled at him to somehow show his or her support for this.
He had been very silent, that was a fact, but he clearly had nothing to say insofar anyways, and he didn't like doing small talks so to speak when it was unneeded. Finally reaching that turbolift that would lead them straight to Andros' office floor, Atlantis stepped aside when the door opened and gestured for Madieke to step in first before following behind her. Unlike any other turbolifts, this one was void of any buttons, it ran on biometrics, apparently, something that Raan had set up back then, and since his own biometrics granted him that access to his brother's floor, he presented his retina for the scan and also his thumbprint. "Not a lot can go up there the way we just did." Atlantis informed Madieke with a faint smile as the turbolift did lead them straight to his brother's office floor.

Hallowed Grounds
Dark eyes twinkling with amusement when Franz jokes that he finds the prospect of witnessing her commit a faux pas alone is worth spending time with her, Ayodele playfully frowns as though disappointed, asking rhetorically, "And is that the only reason you would seek my company, Franz? Smiling knowingly after asking the question she needs no answer for, Ayodele nods when Franz proposes that he pick her up so that, should the time of the party prove to be later than that, they can wait for it to begin together, saying, Very well." After explaining where her apartment building is located relative to the coffee shop so that he will be able to find it, Ayodele pushes her mug of caf aside as though she has finished with it and adopts a relaxed posture, her chin resting atop her clasped hands, so that it is clear she is in no hurry for their meeting to end, an interested and curious expression on her face as she listens to Franz explain that it will be easier to demonstrate what it is he teaches than to simply tell her.
There was a time Franz would have no need to make her aware of his Force sensitivity, a time when she would have been acutely aware of, and interested in, any in her vicinity that possessed that quality, but that time was long, long ago, and so Ayodele's surprise when he reveals that he is a teacher in the ways of the Force at an academy is entirely genuine, her eyebrows raising briefly. While she once would have found what he has revealed to be of concern, Ayodele feels no disquiet rising within her to suggest that her belief that the part of her nature that would make such concern justified has even so much as stirred from its long, deep slumber, is misplaced, and so she spares no further thought for what once was. Just as authentic as her surprise is the slightly confused expression that follows on the heels of the surprise, for Franz is utterly unlike any of the Jedi - that he is of that Order being the only logical conclusion in her mind given what she has observed of him - Ayodele recalls from when that Order was of even peripheral interest or concern to her. The hint of confusion fades quickly, for Ayodele is aware that many things in the universe have changed and evolved since she last paid any heed to its affairs. Why should the Jedi, too, not have been shaped by the tides of time that shape all? Though her interest has been piqued, giving rise to many questions, the air of secrecy that Franz appears to maintain around his calling, which curiously reminds her of yet another time long since past, and that suggests that now is neither the time nor place for such questions as she would be interested in asking. "Even nobler still," Ayodele says with a warm, genuine smile after the brief reflective pause that had followed his revelation, her relaxed and unconcerned tone one that should dispel any fears Franz might have about what he has shared changing anything between them.
Tilting her head to the side inquisitively, her dark eyes continuing to seek and hold his, Ayodele, revealing her profound ignorance of the affairs of Umgul since merely watching the holonews in months past would have made her aware of who at least two of his companions are even as it demonstrates that she intends to respect the discretion Franz's answer had made it evident he prefers to maintain, asks, "Your striking female friends? They are also . . . teachers?"

Setting the Barloz-class medium freighter down in its landing bay, Viho reaches out to flip the controls he needs to flip to shut down the repulsorlifts and other systems they won't be needing as he tells Neassa, "Head back to the cargo bay and bring the CLL's on line. Have them start unloading the cargo and then just hang out there. I'll meet the inspection team outside, chat them up, and then bring them aboard to do their thing. It should be quick, cursory since most of them know us as regulars."
Once everything is shutdown that needs to be shut down, the Ithorian lowers the boarding ramp and then stands up from the pilot's seat, pausing for a moment in case the Mandalorian has any questions.
Outside of the ship, entering the landing bay as the boarding ramp descends, a pair of uniformed Rodian's, one tall and skinny and the other short and squat, accompanied by an R2 unit equipped with sophisticated scanning systems start approaching the freighter.

Hallowed Grounds
For a moment Franz considered her rhetorical question, and he felt like he had done a stupid again but he, thankfully, could tell that her disappointed frown, was just her teasing him and being playful with him, so he just settled by looking at her with a knowing smile as he briefly shook his head. It was of course for other reasons that he wanted to stick around her, and he knew that she got that anyways, but still, it did not stop him from saying, "Among other, much more important, reasons, Ayodele." Smiling at the thought, his smile grew wider when she agreed to his proposal for him picking her up the following day. He retained her address and inclined his head to let her know that he got that loud and clear.
Now he was more apprehensive, about what she might tell him about his revelation on who he really was, and what he really did when he wasn't dragged back at TaSpa!. Her silence was somewhat weighing but he was at the same time bracing himself somewhat, or at least as much as he could right that instant. He knew that he had put himself in a delicate position, but when he had told her he supposed that deep down inside of him it was because she was worth taking that chance, as crazy as that sounded, he barely knew her too but now that was all on him. He had said it, and now he had to face the consequences, consequences that never came, at least not the one he had expected.
Franz looked at her with commingled surprise and gratefulness when she qualified his teaching in the ways of the Force as nobler. She might have not known it yet, or maybe she did by seeing his appreciative expression right now, she definitely removed a certain weight from him. He guessed that he didn't have to hide it with her anymore, he didn't have to be evasive about it with her. It was simply a relief, one that he was glad about. There was one thing that definitely surprised him genuinely, it was her asking about his friends who he was with back at TaSpa!, Franz tilted his head on the side and shook his head briefly, first gesture to let her know that they definitely weren't teachers at all, although one of them was attuned to the Force, but she hid it from public eye, although her function pretty much like Lily was of public knowledge.
Did that actually mean that Ayodele preferred not knowing, or that she wasn't following the news about the planet? It might have also meant that probably she did not know what had occurred during the day with that splash against the Vyridian brothers, who were both two of the higher ups in a way on the planet, one in the government and the other in the Order on this planet. But that aside, Franz looked at Ayodele with a warm smile. "No, although they do know about me, but two of them are..." Franz broke his gaze with hers and looked around just to see if people were listening really, but still he didn't want to take that chance with the press that had been there at the precinct earlier. Looking back at Ayodele with a faint smile, he leaned over the table and lowered his tone. "Government officials, but they are all civilians." He informed her with a faint smile before sitting up right again as he finished his cup of coffee, noticing that she was probably done with hers as well, he looked at her dubiously. "Would you like another drink?" Franz offered sincerely although she was under no obligation to do so. "Or we could take a walk at the nearest park, or I could drop you off home if you do have other obligations for the evening?" The latter perspective wasn't one he really wanted to happen, he did like her company, and they were just talking, nothing more, nothing else.
Although, yes she did know more about him, than he probably knew more about her, but he was fine with that, there were still the day tomorrow, and hopefully more days to come afterwards, he clearly wasn't pushing this, because he did not want her to be uncomfortable around him really and he clearly really did not want to push his luck, at all.

"Well, that is a relief," Ayodele says in a playfully relieved tone followed by a laugh when Franz says that he does have other reasons for seeking her company than waiting to witness her commit a faux pas. From his expressions and demeanor after she had responded to what he had revealed to her about his calling, for such is how Ayodele's views his occupation, Franz seems relieved, suggesting he had feared a different reaction for some reason, which when added to the secrecy he would seem to feel is warranted, only serves to further arouse her curiosity as to what changes time has wrought that a Jedi would not, as they had in her youth when Ayodele had found them of some mild interest and concern to her, be completely open with their calling, nor would they have been concerned, she imagines, with how their calling might be viewed when, at least when she was younger, they were almost universally hailed as, if not heroes, at the very least as well intentioned keepers of peace.
Strange to her too is the air of secrecy that Franz would also appear to prefer to maintain around the fact two of his friends are government officials, and Ayodele wonders if a compulsion to conceal so much of oneself and those that surround them is a characteristic of this era that she has not yet noticed due to her long held and habitual lack of attention to such things. Perhaps, Ayodele thinks, she should pay such matters more heed lest she risk appearing as out of touch with current social mores as she in fact is. Her nod to express her understanding of the fact his friends are not Jedi, but government officials, is accompanied by an expression that reveals some of Ayodele's confusion about the fact Franz feels that fact is one requiring such secrecy, but as she does not pursue the subject it is also apparent she intends to respect the apparent need for such discretion even though she does not understand it.
Smiling, the confusion having lifted from her expression so it has resumed its more customary watchful calm, Ayodele shakes her head when asked if she would like more caf, saying, "No, thank you. As I am under no other obligations for the remainder of the evening, she continues with a casual shrug of her shoulders, a walk in the park sounds quite nice. Sitting back and wrapping the brown coat she wears over black trousers and blouse more tightly about her, Ayodele waits for Franz to finish his caf, smiling with an amused twinkle in her eye as she playfully asks, We can keep the walk short, if there are obligations you must fulfill for the evening? I imagine teaching is a rather demanding profession after all, especially when one works at a private academy?" Her tone is intentionally light, the secretive air Franz seems to prefer be maintained where his calling is concerned making it apparent that he prefers not to speak of it openly, but Ayodele's wording of her question presents a way for him to speak of it covertly, should he choose to do so. Her body language is casual, unhurried and relaxed, which is not at all uncommon for Ayodele, and is a characteristic that would become apparent the longer one observes her.

Hallowed Grounds
It seemed to Franz that Ayodele had been confused by what he had said, at least why he might have tried to keep what he had just told her in the down low, maybe he'd explain sooner or later, but right now he was more appreciative of the fact that she seemed to respect his want, if not his need for discretion. She might not have been aware, but he really was grateful and relieved that she accepted without too much inquiring why he had been acting that way, or why he was being discreet about the information he had just provided her. It really did appear to him that she had not followed the current news, or maybe she wasn't following too much the news around the planet, as considering both Crystal's and Lily's functions within the government, they were from time to time mentioned in the local holonews.
Now that he thought about that possibility, maybe it was indeed a good thing especially that Ayodele had accepted to come tomorrow, everyone would, in a way, be on equal standing ground. He supposed that it was a good thing and a fortunate thing. At least that was how he saw it. Franz smiled knowingly and gratefully at Ayodele and he really was glad that now he really just be himself, not that he wasn't before, but he could just be him, without having people looking in his direction too much, he was fortunate that who he was and what he did wasn't as much broadcast like it was for Atlantis...
But that aside, he could think about that later, or not think about it really, and he just focused his attention again onto Ayodele, he was glad to being able to spend more time with her and it really was something he was looking forward to again. Finishing his cup of coffee, Franz stood up from his seat after wrapping his scarf around his neck again and went to stand behind her so he could pull her chair for her to stand up as well. "It can be, yes, but not during the weekends." Franz said with a warm smile and looked back at her after her pushed her chair back under the table. "Our headmaster usually sends the students home if they are local, and if some remain, they usually do have their free time to do what they wish to do. We aren't really strict and we usually try to give them as much as liberties they would need so they are not too overwhelmed by the teaching during weekdays." He explained, it was how Atlantis had wanted it and he also accepted that. Sure they were Jedi but Franz guessed they had different views from the old teachings, which wasn't that bad, but then again, who really was going to tell them off if and when they weren't doing it how they supposedly had to do it.
Shrugging nonchalantly and smiling again as he looked back at her, Franz gestured for her to lead the way but he still stepped up to open the door for her so that she could exit first. "So we do not need to make the walk short, at all, not for my benefit." Franz had an amused grin and he followed her outside back into the city, taking a deep breath and walking casually just next to her, not too far but also not too close since he preferred to respect her personal space privacy...
"Oh by the way," Franz started to say with an amused grin, remembering what Lily had told him earlier back at the restaurant, considering that Ayodele did accept his invitation, so there was a big chance that his cousins would be there as well. "It's about tomorrow, you might meet other people, besides my striking female friends." Smirking at the thought, Franz added on grinning. "Two guys, that are the two I have mentioned earlier boyfriends." Maybe there were going to be others, he did not know really, after all some, or most of them were known for winging it constantly anyways.

Starport
Neassa nods after Viho takes her through what will be happening next, and then heads aft from the cockpit to the large cargo bay. Once she has the huge droids online and has given them their instructions, Neassa lowers the starboard cargo loading ramp so that the droids can start offloading their cargo onto the hovertruck. It is easier to actually get busy than to try and look busy, so once the droids are working away Neassa joins in the work to get the ship unloaded. Finding a repulsor sled, Neassa begins unloading some of the smaller, more delicate cargo like the flowers and seedlings so she is not just standing around if and when the inspection team comes to do their thing in the cargo bay.

Smiling when Franz, ever the gentleman it would seem, moves to help her with her chair, Ayodele stands and says, "Thank you, her dark eyes twinkling with amusement as she jokes, Someone trained you well it appears." The joke could be an invitation, should he choose to see it as such, for Franz to speak of how it is he came to possess his manners, or not, should he be as reticent about that as he is about those subjects that have been broached previously.
Putting her hands into the pockets of her coat as they leave the coffee shop and start out for the park, her stride as leisurely and casually graceful as all her movements tend to be, Ayodele adjusts her pace to match his as she listens to Franz explain how it is that he is free for the weekend when his position as an instructor at a Jedi academy would have led her to expect that down time would be in short supply, if ever truly available at all. Much, it would seem, has changed in his Order from what, little enough it is true, she knew of it in her youth. "How very fortunate for us, Ayodele says with a warm smile after Franz has finished speaking, that your calling is not so demanding, or as . . . restrictive as I would have expected it to be. Laughing when Franz informs her that he has at least two friends that are not women, Ayodele teases, So you do have some friends other than very striking women? Having introduced the subject of his friends does not necessarily mean that he will be at liberty to speak of them freely, but in the event that the fact they are entering the park, which appears to be theirs alone at least for now, means that he will be feeling more at liberty to be open, Ayodele asks, What else can you tell me of these friends you will be introducing me to, Franz? Smiling and speaking in a light tone to make it clear she is only joking, and not truly concerned about meeting those he calls friends, Ayodele asks Franz, Is there anything you feel I should know about what I'll be getting into before I'm in it?"

Umgul City - Spaceport
Viho walks down the freighter's boarding ramp, raising a hand to wave a friendly greeting to the Rodians that will be scanning their cargo. Having worked for his employers several years now, the Ithorian is no longer as nervous as he used to be, and his interaction with the Rodians, who have scanned the freighter's cargo several times and are on friendly terms with him, does not require any acting. The Rodians are professionals, and even though they might be friendly, they do a thorough job when it comes to completing their scan. Starting with the cargo hold, the astromech adding its sophisticated sensors to the handheld ones the Rodians use, the pair of uniformed customs agents work their way through the ship, and then head outside to scan the cargo that has been offloaded. The only things currently being smuggled are Neassa and her gear, and with the latter being cleverly concealed and shielded from the scanners, and the former being mistakenly assumed to be Cerise since the Brosin never interacts with the scanning teams, the Rodian duo is finished and gone in short order.
Once the customs officers have left, Viho helps finish the unloading, and then pilots the hovertruck to The Enchanted Florist, where it is unloaded by droids. Before leaving the floral shop, Viho gets Neassa's gear from the compartment in one of the droids, and then pilots the hovertruck to Cerise's apartment. Setting the vehicle down on the rooftop landing pads, Viho turns the repulsorlifts off and, even though he is sure he knows the answer, asks the Mandalorian anyway, "Do you need any help with your things?"

"It wasn't the case a very long time ago." Franz said with an amused tone, now that he thought about it, he really had no idea, or more precisely couldn't quite remember when that came about. Franz had never been the suave kind he guessed and he always had that inclination to get what he wanted when he wanted it, perhaps it was what got him into trouble several times. Although that was before and this is now, he was perfectly fine with that. "I suppose you could say that it maybe started when I was back in Coruscant, then maybe it faded a little when I got to Anobis." Franz rubbed his jaw momentarily in thought as he continued to walk in a very relaxed pace towards the nearest park. "I suppose you could say that knowing better after a while made me realized that if I kept my old ways, I wouldn't probably be here or you perhaps wouldn't have accepted to have coffee with me?" It was all assumption but it was how he saw it he guessed, although he just shrugged nonchalantly at what he had just said because that seemed to be in the past now and now he was here with her, just casually walking in a relaxed pace.
Now he just had to remember where exactly that park was, and with the mist around it was throwing him off from time to time but being here a while now and being in the habit to often train in the mist back in the academy, thanks to Mace request to Elika a while ago, he had managed to adapt his eyesight to the mist, at least as much of an adaptation it could be.
That aside though, he was more focused onto what she was saying than actually concentrating on really finding the way, or so it seemed, thankfully though there were enough markers around the city, like security cameras popping out or buildings for him to know which turns to take. Now he had a smile on the corner of his lips soon he chuckled at her teasing statement and he nodded briefly. "I do, does it sound that surprising?" Franz asked playfully as they got to the park, Franz felt very much lighter than he had been in the café, and he looked at her when she asked more about the guys that he was friends with although, it was more family he guessed, but that did not matter. "The men are actually my cousins." Franz informed her thoughtfully, although he and Atlantis did not have any blood ties but he along with Andros had been adopted by his aunt and uncle back in Coruscant and Franz felt like he had always been in competition with the guys, but that was a while ago, now it really was different. As for Ryan, he truly was his cousin...
"One is the headmaster." Franz explained with a faint smile before adding on, "And the other is a doctor, at least when he is not on a sabbatical." He was amused at that considering that he was sure that Ryan could perfectly find a job here if he wanted to, but it seemed like he really was taking that sabbatical literally. "But no, there is nothing you should be concerned about when it comes to them, they are cool." He sincerely told her, he did not see Atlantis not relax when he was around people he cared about. "Although, if I did tell you everything about them, wouldn't it be a little bit cheating when they haven't met you yet?" Franz asked teasingly with an amused glint in his eyes.

Setting the vehicle down on the rooftop landing pads, Viho turns the repulsorlifts off and, even though he is sure he knows the answer, asks the Mandalorian anyway, "Do you need any help with your things?" "I can manage, but thanks," Neassa tells Viho as she steps from the vehicle. Making her way to the apartment she will be operating from after getting her gear, Neassa first does a walk through to familiarize herself with the layout and to search for a place to store her armor and other equipment. Once she has completed those tasks, Neassa begins planning for the meeting with her client the following afternoon. Cantinas being the more usual meeting points, Neassa isn't sure what to make of the fact this client, who she has yet to learn anything about beyond where she will be meeting them, wants to meet in a spa of all places. That the location means she will need to go in unarmed and unarmored doesn't bother her as much as knowing nothing about the client does, but there is nothing she can do about that. Preferring to know as much as possible about where she will be meeting with a client, Neassa does a bit of research on the holonet to see what she can learn about TaSpa!, which proves to be relatively little of value. The mist that apparently enshrouds the city will make any useful recon of the location before heading inside difficult at best, but knowing the layout of the city streets surrounding the building will be useful even though she doesn't anticipate any trouble. It never hurts to be prepared though, and so Neassa uses the holonet to find as detailed maps of the city as she can, committing not only the street layout around the spa, but also around the apartments she's using, to memory.
After she's finished with the holonet, Neassa scouts out the apartment building itself, finding and memorizing the exits while getting a feel for the other tenants she might come across, and then heads back up to the landing pads to check out the vehicle she has been provided, wanting to make sure that Cerise has kept it in good working order since she may need to rely on it for more than getting from point A to point B. Having the systems linked to her buy'ce * for recon would be useful, but since the Vilhjalmssons made her aware of the fact that the city has fairly extensive security cam coverage, Neassa prefers not to risk being captured on any of them if possible since an armored Mandalorian would probably attract attention if the cam footage is routinely screened for some reason. From what she's been told about the planet, Neassa gathers it would be best to assume that being overly cautious is the best way to operate, so leaves her buy'ce behind. Taking the airspeeder out, both to get a feel for how it handles, what the civilian foot traffic can tell her, as well as to get a rough idea of what the traffic is likely to be like during the early evening, Neassa takes it to TaSpa! to get a look at it's exterior layout, and then heads back to the apartment, stopping once to purchase enough food to last a few days.
Back in the apartment, Neassa stores the groceries, eats, and then settles in for the evening.* helmet
