Franz was tugging the collar of his shirt while he kept listening to Lily. That was one heck of a conundrum and Franz was pretty sure that she was doing it on purpose, or not... He had no idea really but he supposed that she might have had her reasons. "Being teased, or inviting Ayodele..." Franz weighted both of his options in his hands and looked at Crystal and even Elika as if to ask for help right now. He needed back up, and really, now would be good.
Franz looked in Elika's direction when she offered some of the Svivreni treat, Franz nodded and got a hold of that plate before serving some to himself and passing that along to the ladies on his other side. Looking back at Elika when she thanked him, Franz had a knowing grin on the corner of his lips but he really wasn't going to comment on that or even tease her at all since he did promise himself earlier that he would watch out the things he was going to say anyways. "Don't mention it." Franz told her sincerely before chuckling and looking back at both Lily and Crystal, more in particular Lily. "I already do not like the lawyer side of her." Franz said bluntly although he was joking which was why he smiled and nodded having taken his decision so to speak. "Okay, how about this, if I do nothing concerning my therapist, you are free to traumatize me all day long tomorrow..." Franz made a face at that and he even shuddered at that prospect before he just took a bite of his appetizer to begin with instead of blurting out stupidities...

"Mhmmm ..." Nodding when Pookie expresses the two choices he has, which are clearly in his hands really, I smile at the thought because if I were in his position, I know which choice I would take, hands down ... "Simple as that, Pookie." For me maybe, it's that simple but really he deserves some happy too, at least that is my take. Winking at him playfully before glancing in baby girl's direction to listen to her attentively, I cannot help myself but to giggle at her statement.
"That side of me was never meant to be liked, baby girl." I tell her factually although also jokingly, really who does love a lawyer when he or she is against them? I know that I have problems with lawyers too as a general rule too anyways. Which is weird when I think about it, but hey I am wired weirdly, which most know anyways. So no problem whatsoever ... "One of these days, Pookie, you'll thank the lawyer side of me, you'll see ..." Smiling at him warmly before glancing in gorgeous' direction when she passes along the appetizer, I take the plate and put some in the plate in front of me before passing that along to anyone else that needs this plate too anyways.
My gosh, they are both so distracted by one another. I think to myself with an inward smirk, really it's cute when I think about it, and even better when gorgeous is being engaging with the Hapan bombshell. "Alrighty then, we'll need to grab some extra groceries, again that'll depend on Pookie," I inform no one in particular but yes I do rub in the fact that it's Franz's choice to begin with considering that the decision is in his hands. "Both of our men," I point at myself and at baby girl before adding on. "Are big eaters and meat lovers, so just in case really ..." I smirk at the thought before glancing at Lana with a faint smirk. "Gorgeous will show you the way, or whatever, just see between yourselves."
Glancing knowingly at Elika before smiling warmly, I soon look back at Pookie when he tells me that I am free to traumatize him if he does nothing about his therapist. And just tomorrow? Nuh uh! "I shall traumatize you for however long it takes until you tell me that you have invited some place your therapist, Pookie, and not just tomorrow, doesn't work that way." I inform him mischievously before smirking at the thought of actually traumatizing him ...

Noticing that Elika was leaning in closer to her, Lana did the same and listened attentively before laughing softly at the words. Turning her head slightly, Lana murmured. "That is only a fraction of how she is at work..." Either way, Lana couldn't even tell if the Jedi was actually joking or not but the expression on his features was amusing really. What Crystal had said earlier, to be careful with what people were saying to Lily, Lana understood that it wasn't really meant as a joke because anything and everything said could be used against them when necessary. "Yes, please and thank you." Lana said gratefully when she was not only offered some appetizers but also served some.
Crystal was shaking faintly her head in amusement while listening to the exchange between Franz and Lily. Obviously, Lily was definitely not going to back down, and if she had to corner someone to take a decision, she'd do it, that much Crystal knew. "I do like that side of you from time to time baby girl, at least when it's on my side, otherwise, ja you're right..." Nudging her childhood friend's shoulder teasingly, Crystal smiled playfully and again she shook her head before looking upwards bemused. "A little contradictory there, no? Not liking it but thanking it? How does that even work?" Crystal asked rhetorically as she took a hold of the Svivreni treat and placed some into her plate before passing that to Franz.
"That they are, and forget about the candies by the way, Ryan said that he was going to take care of that." Crystal informed Lily about that knowing that often times whenever they would go grocery shopping, Lily had a tendency to go a little overboard, only a little, which of course meant often time that Crystal would have to cook because... Well she did not even want to think about that matter so to speak especially that right now she was listening to Lana who asked a few questions and Elika jumped right in to that occasion which was encouraged by Lily, of course, because that is just Lily. Crystal winked at Elika knowingly clearly in approval before starting up with her appetizer.
"I'd love that." Lana replied to Elika with a warm smile and even nibbled her lower lip briefly before snapping out of it for now remembering that she was surrounded by people and that she couldn't just act this way all the time with people around. Gently placing a light hand on Elika's forearm, Lana smiled warmly before saying. "When we are done eating, I'll give you both?" She suggested and even squeezed faintly Elika's forearm before removing her hand from there. In her opinion still, it wouldn't be polite to do that now, right? At least she did not want to seem rude right now.

Grey Mist
Entering the restaurant, Nemes leads the way to where the host or hostess is after looking around and not spotting who they are here to see in the main dining area, and then, hands in the pockets of his suit coat casually, grins winningly as he says, "Good afternoon. We're here to join Arezou and Klivian's party. Taking his left hand from his pocket, Nemes lays his badge on the podium as he continues grinning and adds, Just tell us where to find 'em and we'll show ourselves in." The hostess, nonplussed, examines the badge that Nemes places on the podium and then uses the tip of her index finger to slide it back towards him as she says, "Your party is in the third private room down the hall to your left Detective."
Standing on either side of the door the hostess had directed the detectives and deputy Ranger to are a pair of massive, heavily muscled and stony faced Herglics. As the group approaches the door to the private dining room, the Herglic on the right side of the door holds up a large hand and rumbles, "Wrong room chumps. Keep moving." After Nemes displays his badge, the Herglic lifts a hand to his ear and speaks in a hushed voice into the small microphone in his sleeve, muttering to himself as he opens the door for them. Arezou, a well dressed female Weequay seated at one end of the table inside the room, greets the group as they enter in a raspy but cultured voice, "Well, well. The UPD. If you are looking for one of the Vyridian twins, and I cannot imagine why you would not be, she lifts a hand and waves it around as though displaying the room is empty save for her and Klivian, I am afraid you will not find either of them here. Placing a finger on her wrinkled lips, Arezou says sarcastically, Oh, I see. You are here to make a mummer's farce of conducting an investigation to cover up for the true culprit. How very droll. Imagine our surprise when no mention of a Vyridian accompanied the holonews reports of our poor, dear friend Sike's passing. And now one of our employees tells us you have called him in to seek his help in identifying the culprit when he had done that for you already. Smiling sadly, Arezou says, And they say that Sike was a criminal. Tsking, Arezou waves a hand towards the door and says, Put on your show of looking into this tragedy for someone else, detectives. It will only fool those who do not know what truly happened, and even then only for a time. The truth always finds a way to come out, does it not?"

Wincing theatrically when Franz seems to offer himself up for traumatization all day tomorrow in order to avoid doing anything about his Ayodele situation at the moment, or possibly ever Elikapeka supposes since she has no way of knowing what he is actually thinking when he is in one of his playful and theatrical moods given how well he acts out the parts he plays even when exaggerating, Elika leans over to whisper to him with an amused smile, "You do know that you are going to be traumatized no matter what you do, right? Glancing with playful caution towards Lily and winking at her, Elika reminds Franz, Traumatizing will happen when she is around pookie, and, she adds with a wink to Lily followed by a meaningful glance towards Delaana, she is right you know, you just might find that relentless lawyer thing of hers occasionally has its benefits."
"Me too, Elika tells Delaana somewhat nonsensically with a smile when Delaana says that she would love to give Elika her contact information, blushing and looking down demurely when Delaana squeezes her forearm gently. Looking back up into Delaana's eyes and nodding when Delaana says that they will get the directions and time and contact information sorted after their lunch, Elika says, I, um, I can't wait, laughing at herself for how that might sound while reaching out and patting Delaana's hand as she explains, To get your, um, information I mean, not to finish lunch. Because I'm really enjoying it, Elika says as she reluctantly sits up straighter and picks up her fork and knife to try and focus at least a little more on actually eating and on the other conversations that might be going on around her. The lunch," Elika adds with a smile, the coy look she gives Delaana through her lashes making it obvious she is not referring just to the lunch despite her statement to the contrary.
Grey Mist
After thanking the hostess for her help, Nemes had led the way to the private dining room and then badged the fishies guarding the door. Keeping his nice-Rodian grin on his face throughout Arezou's speech, Nemes opens his hands in front of him in an aw shucks kind of way when she finishes, continuing to grin as he says, "Funny you mention the truth coming out. That's why we're here, see? To share some truths with you and see if you can't lead us to some more truth. Gesturing towards the empty seats along the table, Nemes asks, May we? Not waiting to be invited, Nemes pulls out chairs for Nazani, who sits quietly and smiles every bit as chummily as her partner, and Nuala, then drops casually into one himself, slouching to clasp his thin fingered hands together and resting his snout atop them as he says, Your . . . 'employee' has it wrong. Chuckling as though the situation is amusing, Nemes explains, See, the assailant, the real one, was using some fancy Force powers to make it look like a Vyridian did the deed, probably hoping we thought it was the Vice Governor. It could have fooled anyone, really. Not a Jedi though. Yeah, Nemes says with a nod, see, the Jedi are helping us find the real killer, and they figured out the trick real easy. So, Nemes says while clapping his hands together and sitting up straight, now that we have that misunderstanding cleared up, let's see if we can't help you to help us find out who killed poor, dear Sike? Holding up a hand, the Rodian says as though reciting something he knows must be said, Just to get it out of the way, we aren't interested in crimes tangential to the murders last night, so don't worry about expressing yourselves freely here. Holding his arms out at his sides, he says, You want to check us for wires? Go ahead. Consenting to a search if his offer is taken seriously, Nemes straightens his jacket and rests his snout on top of his hands afterwards and asks, Now, who do you know of, pointing from Arezou to Klivian he adds, other than you two, that benefits from Sike's death? Let's start there, shall we?"

Entin & Orlov Residence
Atlantis kept an expressionless face while listening to both Lyov and Helaine. Even if Helaine did sound like she was scared or just kept looking frightful about the possibility of having someone that may come against them, deep down inside of him he still did not believe her act so to speak. Atlantis had even scoffed inwardly when Helaine started to ask if they were in any danger and he even looked at Lyov with that same expressionless face but soon Atlantis shook his head briefly before taking a deep breath and closing his eyes momentarily as if to sense any ongoing around. "No, no immediate dangers." Atlantis said sincerely as he opened his eyes again to look at the couple before he tilted his head on the side with a faint smile.
Atlantis looked back at Helaine when she said that she never used her telepathy but that wasn't his question to begin with, either she was playing coy or just, actually Atlantis just shook his head and lifted his hand to indicate it wasn't what he meant. "I did not mean telepathy, Miss Orlov, I meant empathy, if you felt anything out of the ordinary last night amongst your guests?" Atlantis explained again with a faint grin. He stayed put for the time being and looked from Mace to Lyov who had grabbed his own comlink but soon enough Atlantis heard his datapad pinging that he had received a new message.
"Excuse me for a moment." Atlantis said as he grabbed his datapad and read the message he had received from Nuala, right, all the guests were certain that Helaine had always been present to that said benefit but still it was so easy to manipulate people with the aid of the Force either tampering their memories or even alter the vision of someone to make it look like that the assailant was someone else and obviously, everything pointed in Helaine's direction, her being left handed from what he had observed earlier, to even Lyov potentially teaching her how to duel. Atlantis just returned the datapad in his pocket and maybe he could use that instance to his own advantage, which was why when he looked back at the couple, he had a definitive smile on his features.
"You know when you try your best to see the good in people, you may start to believe it at some point and you give them the benefit of the doubt all the time, or at least you try? Because you still hang onto that singular thing that they can be helpful in the long run." Atlantis started to say and he mainly looked in Lyov's direction before he looked in Helaine's direction and tilted his head slightly on the side, she was definitely the height of the silhouette he was tracking last night. "But then you start to wonder why? Why some people want to cause others harm, power maybe? To what end? Control more territory, maybe in the end I really don't care the whats or whys really, but what I do care about is why, a beautiful woman such as yourself," Atlantis smiled faintly in Helaine's direction. "Would even do such things last night? Before you were ordered to do so? See evidence has it that someone who stands at your height and is clearly left handed with perfect skills in dueling." This time he looked back at Lyov since he was the one with the shown record that he had been an efficient dueler back in the days. "Actually committed those crimes and I am still wondering to what end really, when you and my brother are working towards the same goal to try and helping people around the planet."
Looking back at Helaine knowingly like he was very sure that she was the culprit and in essence Lyov as well, Atlantis shook his head and smirked at the thought. "When you are ready to come clean really, do find me and hopefully you'll be free from your shackles by then?" Atlantis left it at that before he lifted his hand in Lyov's direction to let him know that the exchange of information contact was highly unnecessary to begin with since he could be reached by the traditional way by the Force if and when it was needed. "Oh and I should thank you for getting rid of that crime lord, I heard he has been a torn in the UPD's side for a long time apparently." Atlantis looked in Mace's direction that they should get going but that did not mean at all that he wouldn't stop keeping an eye on the both of them, inclining his head respectful, Atlantis turned around and started to leave the kitchen without anything more to add or say since after all he was mostly going on a whim right then and there and however he or she responded that was up to them really and then he would probably decide afterwards what to really do.

Franz's face decomposed on the spot when he heard Elika's whispered words loud and clear. It really wasn't helping that much especially with what Lily had told him, she said that it was that simple, how could it be that simple? Really, that was a tough call to make for him somehow... He couldn't really be that distracted when he had been instructed by Atlantis to be Elika's bodyguard and therefore it was hard for him to even wrap his mind around the fact that he should even try an approach with Ayodele, and then there was that other choice where he would be continuously traumatized if he did not do a thing about his therapist. "Yes..." Franz replied with a strained voice before glancing in Lily's direction with a fearful look and then he looked back at Elika with a noticeable pout. "You were supposed to protect meeeeeeeeeh." Franz playfully whined before laughing at the thought and then he took a deep breath understanding definitely what Elika meant and what Lily meant in a way that he would be thankful for that side of her. "I am very glad for you, Elika." He whispered sincerely as he glanced at Lana knowingly and also back at Elika with a warm smile.
Franz had obviously taken a decision based on the fact that he was pretty sure that the government had checked out Delaana Wan's background thoroughly and that if indeed her application was retained to work within the Mist Government, then what did he have to check out anyways? Nothing at all, besides she looked collected enough and he was pretty sure that Crystal did trust her so to speak, but again Franz wasn't even thinking of standing in the way.
Getting the plate back for the treats, he placed that down in the middle again as he continued to listen to Lily about the barbecue business and if he did decide to invite Ayodele tomorrow, then mayhaps his cousins would be there definitely. "Okay, okay I got it loud and clear Counselor, I shall go and see her later to see if she is even interested." Franz said sincerely, that prospect though was something he was looking forward to doing actually despite his earlier reservations to begin with. He supposed that considering that Crystal also was now attuned to the Force, he could communicate with her immediately or whenever it was necessary. Still though he kept in mind his primary reasons of why he was even here with all of them. It wasn't supposed to be a vacation so to speak it was still a duty and with that in mind, he started to eat his appetizer while keeping attentive ears around him especially the conversation between Lana and Elika. That really caused Franz to smile warmly.

"If there is one thing you should know, it works just great." I say that as a matter of fact, "You don't necessarily have to like that side of me, baby girl but you can thank it, and I am sure that gorgeous right there will concur with me." Smiling before looking at gorgeous knowingly and just blowing her a kiss for the winks I am getting from her, even though I have no idea what she is saying because again I do not read on lips at all. "Gorgeous, if you are saying bad things to Pookie about me, I am taking back my kiss." I tell her with a pout although soon enough I show her that I am only joking because I do wink at her too. "Really, it's okay, I know that you still love me no matter what."
Giggling softly before finally getting started with my appetizer, I still keep my ears open to eavesdrop really on the conversation between gorgeous and the bombshell, I notice those looks they keep giving one another and I am really pleased to see that Elika is also that much comfortable with Lana that she no longer seems to be tensing that much upon contact. Noticing that the two of them are just fine and really have decided to exchange digits later, I look at baby girl dubiously when she tells me to forget about the candies because her brother is already taking care of that. "Sounds good to me, maybe also a few bottles of champagne and some other stuff ..." Obviously those other stuff, I do not know what those are just yet, so I will see when we'll get there.
Looking in Pookie's direction when he tells me that he will see if Ayodele is interested, I smile before grinning. "Pookie, you are a good looking guy, and funny to boot, what is not to like about you?" I ask him rhetorically with a sincere smile, because after all, he is good looking, heck everyone in his family is good looking. Hello, I am currently dating his cousin and baby girl's half brother. So really, I know what I am talking about. "If it doesn't work out, at least you can take comfort on the fact that you have tried and also because she doesn't know what she is missing at all." Glancing at baby girl and gorgeous since the both of them know him better than me, I lift my right hand as I say. "Right?"

Helaine looks relieved, though not in an overly showy way that would make her portrayal of the personae she has been playing seem false, when Atlantis assures her and Lyov that there is no immediate danger. Shaking her head after a pause when Atlantis clarifies his earlier question, explaining that he had been referring to anything out of the ordinary her empathic talents might have made her aware of, Helaine says, "No, none of the guests I interacted enough with to experience any empathic insights seemed to be feeling anything out the ordinary." Empathy, unlike telepathy, is something one experiences rather than initiates, a distinction few seem to make as they confuse empathy with a number of other things, but Atlantis is likely to know that, removing the need to claim she does not abuse the talent where denying that she misuses her telepathic talents was a necessary part of her role.
Nodding when Atlantis excuses himself, Lyov rubs Helaine's shoulders comfortingly for a moment and then removes his arm from around her. It would seem out of place for them to continue preparing the meal they had been working on as though nothing has happened, so Lyov looks at the scattered utensils and half completed dishes on the countertop with a pensive expression as they wait for Atlantis to finish reading the message he has received. Lyov and Helaine both look mildly perplexed when Atlantis begins speaking after reading his message, neither needing to strain much to act since the opening of the resumed conversation seems to come out of nowhere and has no immediately discernible connection to what they had been speaking of earlier. Nor do Lyov or Helaine need to act at all when Atlantis makes his accusation plain, their confusion and surprise genuine enough despite having a different origin than the innocence that would give rise to a similar confused surprise. The reasoning Atlantis has given for having arrived at his suspicion is flimsy at best, the fact that he has possibly somehow correctly arrived at the conclusion Helaine is the culprit does not change the fact that he knows only the height and handedness of the killer in addition to the fact that they are adept at dueling. Atlantis is not likely to choose his words carelessly, Helaine thinks, based on his earlier attempts to bait her, and the fact he says that it is a person of her height he seeks rather than a woman seems to indicate he is not in fact able to definitively state the killer is female. Forensic analysis undoubtedly gave them the fact the killer was left handed, but how they could have correctly guessed her height is beyond her. Atlantis also seems, if the content of his little barbs are any indication, to believe that he seeks a Sith. Perhaps a Sith would be offended enough by the use of their code as bait to make a mistake, but Helaine, like her Master, is not a SIth, and therefore not impacted at all by the conversational jabs. When openly and falsely accused, innocent beings react in any number of ways, and Helaine chooses confusion since it fits her social personae best. Turning towards Lyov as Atlantis begins to depart, Helaine asks him in her childish, breathy voice, "What is he saying? Crime lord? Come clean? I don't . . ."
Lyov puts his arm around her shoulders once more as though to comfort her and protect her from the mistake they will pretending has been made, his own expression having become a mixture of concern and indignation that he believes befits the occasion. "He is saying that he believes you got rid of a crime lord apparently, Lyov looks down to tell Helaine in a tone that makes it clear he finds the idea absurd as well as being offended by it. Or he is cruelly claiming that is his belief so he can see your reaction, Lyov says while allowing a tiny bit of anger to enter his voice since it is among the natural and expected reactions to being falsely accused. Looking from Helaine to Atlantis, Lyov says more calmly, but with the coolness to be expected given the situation, You will find that you are mistaken, Grandmaster. Helaine was here, all last night. I can provide you with a list of our guests, who can also verify that for you if you like? And since you are looking for someone of Helaine's height that can duel, it might interest you to know that she cannot. I would have been more than happy to teach her the sport, but she has never expressed the slightest interest in it. Glancing down at Helaine, who continues to look numbly confused by what is going on, as though it is so far removed from the realm of possibility that it has left her reeling, Lyov looks back up and says stiffly, If there is nothing else, I'll see you both out."

"Uh huh..." Crystal said knowingly to Lily's statement, whether it was for liking that lawyer side of her, or even thanking it or even maybe for Elika agreeing with her, because fact was, Crystal's own answer applied to everything so to speak, especially when she had noticed the way Elika and Lana were looking at one another, and even touching one another, which was a plus considering that Elika wasn't usually the comfortable type around people she barely knew, but it seemed that Lana did put her at ease and really quickly. It wasn't something she would say aloud of course, because she was no way just like Lily who had the knack to blurt out the obvious, but Crystal clearly saw the signs and they were all crystal clear to her right then and there.
Right now though, it seemed that the lawyer really had her attention on Franz and his therapist issue, which was a good thing and besides knowing Lily, Crystal was certain that her childhood friend had already done her part when it came to Elika and Lana so she no longer needed to add anything else to make more things happen because it was happening right there. But since it was the grocery question that was on Lily's mind also, Crystal looked at her and shook her head playfully. "You do know that when you say 'other stuff' that scares me, you are so random baby girl when we are grocery shopping, that I don't even know how we manage to put everything in the conservator, I think we should purchase a new and bigger one also." Crystal said playfully as she looked upwards somewhat exasperatedly only not really.
Agreeing with what Lily was saying again concerning Franz, Crystal nodded concurring with the attorney's statement. "She is right, pookie, just give it a try, what do you have to lose really, right?" Crystal asked rhetorically with a warm smile before she kept on taking a bite of her appetizer that she was obviously enjoying.
Lana was relieved in a way that Elika was okay to wait after they had finished eating to exchange their contact info so to speak, since obviously right now it clearly wasn't the time and place. When Elika started to pat her hand, Lana turned her hand and palm upwards in order to get a gentle hold of Elika's hand and she gave it another gentle squeeze. "You are not the only one..." Lana said softly with a warm smile before winking at Elika mischievously, she released Elika's hand entirely so she could start on her appetizer since obviously she had not started thus far due to being busy, not that she was complaining at all but she guessed that eating would enable her to just keep her mouth shut so to speak but still, it did not mean that it stopped her from glancing time to time at Elika and even smiling warmly...

A good waiter or waitress misses nothing, and an excellent waiter or waitress sees to all his or her client's needs and wishes even when those needs or wishes might go unspoken. An exceptional waiter or waitress will go the extra mile, and will not hesitate to take advantage of unforeseen yet advantageous circumstances to aid him or her in looking after his or her clients. Lochan imagines that he is in the exceptional category of waiters, and since he has not missed any of the conversations going on at the table Franz and his friends are seated at, when he sees that Ayodele has entered the restaurant on her break to have a cup of stimcaf at the bar while he is getting the drink orders for the table, he decides to take advantage of the opportunity to bring his A game.
Flying gracefully around the table to place the drinks his clients had ordered in front of them, Lochan stops beside Franz after he has given the women their respective glasses of wine and then places a tiny blue hand on his forehead in dismay as he says, "Dear me! I am terribly sorry, sir, but I appear to have left your water on the bar, he points to the bar in question, where a glass of iced water sits conveniently near to where Ayodele is seated, over there. Placing his hand beneath his chin as though the situation is vastly more complex than it truly is, Lochan says, Normally I would not ask this of a guest, sir, but, he gestures towards another table where a party of eight are seated, I am running a bit behind with my other guests there. Would you mind terribly going to get your water yourself? Wanting to give the man an out if he prefers to 'make his move' at another time, Lochan strokes his majestic mustache as he says, If it is too inconvenient, I shall of course fetch it for you when I return with the drink orders for my other table."

Going Nuclear. Happy Face. Pitch.Rising from his chair and shouldering past the woman even though it is not necessary, Eekeb snorts derisively, "Nice try. I see what my lawyer thinks of your advice and then talk to press when he tells me you lie again. Watch holonet for me," the Nikto says while walking away from her. "I'll do that," Madieke says with a strained smile, leaning back against the wall when the Nikto has left while massaging her temple with the fingers of her right hand. Deciding it best to take the threat seriously, Madieke takes her datapad and sends a message to Atlantis and Mace to let them know to take whatever steps they think might be necessary to try and keep Andros from going nuclear when the Nikto goes public with his version of events:To: Atlantis Vyridian

Atlantis,
First CI was a complete bust, witness completely uncooperative. Believes your brother was responsible, won't listen to evidence to contrary.
Thought you should know witness states intention to go to press with his story. Sounds determined. Best get someone on your brother to make sure he doesn't do anything rash.
Will let you know results of second CI ASAP. After sending the message, Madieke puts on her happy face and enters the second interview room. "Good afternoon Mr. Strago, Madieke begins as she sits down across from the Nikto. Thank you for agreeing to come in and speak with us. Trying to build up some rapport before forging ahead with the real reason she is here, Madieke asks, How are you feeling this afternoon?" Grey Mist
Let's start there, shall we?" Sitting down and taking a red lollipop from a jacket pocket, Nuala sits quietly and listens to the start of the conversation attentively, paying close attention to the Weequay and Klivian when Nemes makes his pitch to see if it looks as though there is a chance this meeting might have some positive results. Arezou's greeting sounded genuine, in that her belief one of the Vyridian twins was responsible for Sike's death did not sound contrived in any way, so Nemes will have his work cut out for him. Arezou strikes Nuala as intelligent enough to realize that things are not always what they seem, and so hopefully she will at least entertain the notion someone else may have been responsible enough to give them some other potential leads to follow up on.

Elikapeka frowns theatrically when Franz playfully reminds her that she was supposed to protect him, the implication being that she has not been doing a good job despite her efforts to shelter him, as much as it is humanly possible at any rate, from the inevitable teasing that is bound to occur whenever Lily, Crystal, and Elika are together. Guessing that Franz is no more truly feeling set upon than she is truly worried about not having done all that she could to shield him from being set upon, Elika leans over towards him to whisper back, "I promise to try and do better pookie," smiling at him while rolling her eyes in amusement at his return to form, glad to see that his time with her and her friends seems to have had a positive effect on his mood.
Laughing when Lily threatens to retract the kiss she had blown earlier if Elika is saying anything negative about her, Elika holds her hands up, thumbs as always keeping her sleeves in place, as she says with a playful pout of her lips, "Beautiful, you know that I love you, so why would you even think I might ever say anything bad about you? Smiling as she puckers her lips to blow a kiss to Lily, Elika nods to agree with what Lily tells Franz, then tells Franz, She's right, as usual, pookie. You do have a lot to offer," but refrains from giving him any additional advice since she wouldn't want to add any more pressure on him, however well intentioned or playful it might be, to do something he might not want to do.
When Delaana catches her hand and gives it a gentle squeeze, Elika bites the left corner of her lower lip as she smiles and looks into her gray-blue eyes and finds herself forgetting all of the earlier reservations and potential complications - which had already begun to seem distant and of little concern anyway - she had been entertaining when thinking about whether or not anything might happen between her and Delaana. Were she not so pleasantly addled at the moment by the way Delaana's looks make her feel, Elika might manage to think of something playful or flirtatious to say, but all she finds she can do is return the glances, grateful that they are no longer covert but shared, and hope that they communicate what she cannot find the words to convey. Making an effort to emerge from the private little world she and Delaana seem to have happily found, Elika cuts her enyak bob into bite size pieces as she tries to enter the conversation about the plans for tomorrow, "I actually like her randomness when it comes to shopping hon', Elika tells Crystal, she always finds new and interesting things to introduce us to."
Thanking Lochan when he sets her Blossom wine in front of her, Elika pretends to wipe her mouth with her napkin to cover the amused smile his effort to help Lily with her quest to get Franz to ask Ayodele out brings to her lips. Already having decided to not prod Franz any further, Elika elects not to comment on the clever opening Lochan has created for him or voice an opinion on whether or not Franz should take advantage of it, instead doing her best to look oblivious as she sips her wine, smiling at Delaana over the rim of the glass before returning her attention to her appetizer.

Franz shook his head when Elika told him that she would do better, but quite honestly she really did not have to at all because despite being traumatized or being teased constantly by Lily mainly, Elika really did not have to do that and it showed when he smiled but he also told her in a low tone. "You know you never had to, and don't worry. Still building up my immunity." He chuckled softly and he was about to add something else but he figured that it was not really a good thing to do so, besides in the end Franz was here to protect Elika not the other way around and really it was fine, it was all in good fun and he was pretty sure that Lily had her own reasons, and maybe she appreciated him too, but that was too much of an assumption for him to make. Also he figured that Elika was 'busy' anyways with Delaana being here and all.
Franz looked at Lily, Crystal and Elika who reiterated what Lily had just said more or less and he smiled gratefully because in a way it was heartwarming although there was no way that he was even fetching for compliments to begin with and his state of muteness right now was only due to the fact that he did not know what to say or even knew how to act so he just smiled gratefully before taking a deep breath, in a way he knew that they were all right. He had nothing to lose at all.
Looking at Lochan when the waiter states that he had forgotten his water and that it was there next to someone on the bar, he looked back at Lochan and smiled as Franz shook his head. "It's okay, I'll get it and you don't have to apologize, you are quite busy." Franz said sincerely as he looked at the table of eight, Franz removed his napkin from his lap, he wasn't bothered to go and take his own drink anyways, and besides he also wasn't used to people tending to him really so this problem wasn't problematic at all.
Franz started to set off in the bar's direction and the closer he got to it, the more he realized who was actually sitting there and he was starting to wonder if someone had anything to do with this or if even Lochan was put up to do that. Franz momentarily looked upwards and then in the ladies' direction with a narrowed expression before shaking his head playfully. Finally taking his courage in his own hands, he just remembered really that he had nothing to lose at all which was why, he made his way straight to his water and wrapped his hand around it before looking at the person, Ayodele, sitting there sipping a caf, he guessed that she was currently on a break. "Hi there." Franz greeted her with a friendly smile to begin with before closing his eyes briefly to take a deep breath, it seemed like words were eluding him right now, and really he wished it wasn't so but he was still going to try. "I, uh, wanted to thank you for earlier, and you probably hear this often, but really thanks for the, uh,..." Franz gestured to his back before smiling sheepishly and finally he said. "I am Franz by the way."

"Really gorgeous, with the face you are giving me there, I could kiss you right now." I tell her playfully before winking teasingly and then I add on with fake reluctance, as if it is the worse thing ever, I even put the back of my hand on my forehead, "But alas we are both spoken for." Giggling softly, even if it's not really true when it comes to gorgeous, it looks like it's a done deal to me anyways, so really technicalities, who is going to contradict that anyways? Whoever does, I will make sure to shut them up or something, or just tell them to look, really just look!
Glancing at baby girl after taking a bite and swallowing my food, my lips are pursed and I have an arched eyebrow right there as if asking her, 'yes, and ...' but I am glad that she is actually going on about needing a bigger conservator and not something else and then I point at gorgeous who does have a point there, because I always do select random and funky things that I know most of us have never tried, so it's a good experience. "Life is about trying new things too," Glancing at gorgeous playfully and winking at her, I chuckle at the thought and take a satisfied breath. "Besides, gorgeous enjoys that and you are used to it, of course I am random, you've known that from like day one, baby girl." Laughing at the thought and even our childhood spent together, really I could be qualified as random back then, and always liking to trying out new stuff and discover new things. And now, I can actually just do that whenever I want because I am working, so yay me! "But bigger conservator noted, we should definitely find a new one ..."
I quickly brush that subject aside especially when our sassy waiter comes back with our glasses of wine, I smile as a thanks but then I notice that a glass is missing, before I can ask about it, I look in the direction of the bar and purse my lips to stop myself from laughing because Lochan just did it on purpose! Noticing that pookie is just being helpful to begin with and a little oblivious since he is going to get that glass of water, I look at Lochan and smile widely at him. "You sly devilishly sassy being you." Winking at him to congratulate him for that, I finally pick up my glass of wine and lift it in his direction as a toast, I finally take a sip of my wine and lower my glass while looking in Pookie's direction just to watch briefly really. "That's her, baby girl, pookie's therapist."

"Oh very good, sir! Lochan tells Franz when he says that he will get the water, Thank you sir! You are most benevolent and kind," the Toydarian says while flying backwards so that he will not be in Franz's way as he gets up from his chair.
Adjusting his monocle with a wide grin when Lily lifts her glass as though toasting while complimenting his sly, devilishly sassiness, Lochan takes a bow in mid-air, saying, "You were the source, the very font of my inspiration, my dear lady. Flapping his tiny blue wings to rise higher in the air, Lochan looks over a shoulder to observe Franz's progress towards the bar as he says, I shall return soon with your main courses," and then zips off to see to his other table.
Ayodele looks up from the steaming cup of stim-caf she holds in both hands when Franz greets her, the smile that replaces the inwardly reflective expression Franz may have observed before speaking to her a professionally polite one, though no less genuine for that. Ayodele appears to be in her late twenties to early thirties, stands at 5'7, has a trim frame, long and dark hair with a mild wave to it, and dark brown eyes that seem as though they should belong to someone far older and to have experienced far more than her apparent age would suggest she would or possibly should have.
Setting her stim-caf down on a saucer, her smile remaining professionally polite but having now become faintly more open and friendly, Ayodele holds out a hand and says in a pleasant voice with an accent that betrays no particular origin and a tone that suggests she finds the encounter amusing without suggesting that it is an unwelcome one, "You are welcome, for earlier. Her hand, if Franz takes it to accept the offered shake, is quite cool despite the fact she had been holding the steaming cup of stim-caf only a moment before, almost cold to the touch, but her grip is firm and confident as she says, Ayodele," to give him her name as she is unaware he is already in possession of it.
It is not the first time that a client has approached her, nor is it likely to be the last, but Ayodele's demeanor does not suggest that she finds the situation tiresome in any way since Franz does not strike her, from the way he conducted himself during their session or conducts himself presently, as likely to reveal himself to be as crass or rude as other clients have. If she wanted, Ayodele could easily learn what motives lay beneath the sheepish smile and boyish charm Franz projects, but it has become her custom to leave some of the gifts nature bestowed upon her by birth untouched, and she prefers to learn things in the way most sentient beings must. Time uncovers all in the end, and time is something Ayodele has in abundance. The way that he had stammered and found himself searching for words suggests he is nervous, and so to try and set Franz more at ease, Ayodele smiles in a friendly way as she says, "So, Franz, while looking at him as she lifts her stim-caf in both hands, blowing on it gently before completing her question, is this your first time here at TaSpa!?"

". . .You want to check us for wires? Go ahead. Consenting to a search if his offer is taken seriously, Nemes straightens his jacket and rests his snout on top of his hands afterwards and asks, Now, who do you know of, pointing from Arezou to Klivian he adds, other than you two, that benefits from Sike's death? Let's start there, shall we?" When the Rodian consents to a search of his group, Arezou says, "We want to see your badges while we're at it," and then looks over at Klivian and nods to tell him to take the detective up on his offer. Klivian slides a datapad across the expanse of the table so that she can read the messages he has received from Orainn and Vilhjalmsson while he makes sure the detective and his associates are not wired. As Klivian conducts a quick but thorough search of their three uninvited guests, calling out their names as he checks the authenticity of their badges for his associate to hear, Arezou reads the messages with an inscrutable expression. "Clean," Klivian tells Arezou after his searches are complete and they know their conversation will not be recorded, then returns to his chair.
Nodding, Arezou slides the datapad back across the table and says, "Tell Orainn we'll send someone to him, and tell our other friend that we understand and accept the proposed alterations to have the four. While reading the messages and considering what the Rodian has told them, Arezou had come to the conclusion the most prudent course is to hear him out provided he can persuade her his version of events is at least as plausible as the one Orainn and Strago presented. If the Rodian is correct in his belief another party is responsible for Sike's death, he is doing them a favor by ensuring they aren't overlooking the true enemy, and the detective's motives and hers align at least temporarily. Since she always bases decisions on business reasons rather than personal, it is immaterial to Arezou whether the culprit is dealt with by the UPD or by her organization. Drumming her leathery fingers on the the table while Klivian taps out the messages he has been asked to send on his datapad, Arezou says, You have my attention for the moment Detective Nemes, but you have not yet convinced me fully of your claim. Persuade me that we truly should be looking in another direction, and I'll gladly give you what you've come for."

Lana was usually one to eat silently, which was what she was doing while cutting and eating her food but she was also listening at what was happening around the table, and it was really familiar at least whenever she was invited to eat lunch with two of the higher ups from the government. The back and forth really were amusing her, especially Lily right now who had said something, which caused Lana to look down briefly with a noticeable smile but then she leaned over in Elika's direction and even lowered her tone to whisper. "You must always be entertained with the two of them..." Laughing softly and looking briefly in the pair's direction, Lana was very certain that Elika was exposed to that all the time. "It must be a riot."
Crystal conceded on the fact that life was often about trying new things in order to evolve somehow, but really that wasn't the biggest issue, at least in her opinion, they needed more space, just like she needed more space for her clothes, her accessories and everything else because space was lacking. Although Crystal looked in Elika's direction before laughing softly. "I love you two, I really do, but when we are introduced to new things, do you know how tough it actually is to find the right combination for those new things?" Crystal asked teasingly before laughing softly as she shook her head, actually Crystal was fine with that, it was challenging, and she loved the challenge whenever she was cooking anyways. "The next new thing she finds, you two are going to pitch in that recipe." Crystal told them before poking her tongue out playfully, since apparently she was also the in-house chef in charge of cooking, if it wasn't her, it was often take outs, like last night.
Smiling and thanking Lochan when he sets her glass of wine in front of her Crystal furrowed her eyebrows soon enough when the Toydarian expressed his dismay but also his apologies for having forgotten Franz's water. But soon Crystal looked at the bar, to where that glass of water was standing very conveniently next to a dark complected woman, who fit the description Crystal had been given earlier by Lily about Franz's therapist, and it was confirmed when Lily was actually congratulating the waiter in her own way and when Lily even confirmed that vocally to her. "Baby girl, you are either the luckiest woman ever or just..." Crystal pursed her lips and laughed soon after as she picked up her wine to take a sip of it. "Actually, just lucky and your mojo seems to be working on just great too." Crystal waved her hand nonchalantly in front of Lily before looking back at Franz and Ayodele briefly with a warm smile, but since she did not want to attract any attention at all, she focused herself back onto her appetizer and just finished eating soon enough.
"I really love this place," Lana said with an amused expression, everyone at TaSpa! seemed to know exactly what the clients needed or whenever they needed it. "I truly hope that the Vice-Governor does ask the owner of this place if he would be interested in having a secondary location." Knowing more or less Andros' plans for the raceways and what he wanted to be there, everything in one spot to boost the tourism economy, it would really be a great thing she figured but of course those matters were out of her hands and she couldn't really decide about it. Shrugging briefly, Lana glanced at Elika momentarily and soon finished her food right there.
"I am sure that once his project is complete, he'll be reaching out, or someone will be on his behalf to most important stores or facilities around the planet." Crystal said thoughtfully before looking at Elika with a knowing smirk. "And he still wants you and only you to complete that. We all know how our Vice-Governor is..." Smiling at the thought, although she was certain that to most Andros was very guarded and hard to approach but since his universal healthcare degree and free access to treatments for the population at large, the citizens of Umgul really loved him and it all began with what he had done for the farmers, something that he was still doing.

Elikapeka smiles when Franz tells her that she never really had to try and shelter him from the torment, crinkling her nose as she says, "Maybe not, but I won't let that stop me anyway, and then snorts a laugh when he says he is endeavoring to build up an immunity to the torment, arching an eyebrow with theatrical skepticism as she jokes, Good luck with that pookie," patting his shoulder with a smile before he stands in a silent show of support for his impending quest for the ice water and meeting with Ayodele even though it seems he is not yet aware that the former will also afford him the opportunity for the latter. Daintily spearing the last bit of an enyak bob from her plate and eating it, Elika watches Franz head off for a moment before deciding to give him a bit of privacy by returning her attention to what is going on at the table instead of his progress.
Leaning in towards Delaana to hear what she says when leaning towards her, Elika brushes her hair back behind her ear when she feels it fall out of place and brush against Delaana's cheek, smiling as she nods and whispers back, "Oh, always. There is never a dull moment, trust me." Blushing faintly when she realizes how close her face is to Delaana's, Elika smiles and her lips part as though she is about to say something, but she finds her mind is blank and so glances down with a coy smile as she straightens up and dabs at her lips with her napkin since she is done with her appetizer. Rolling her eyes with mock exasperation when Lily voices that both she and Elika are spoken for, the pleased smile accompanying the look ruining the intended effect, Elika glances towards Delaana to see how she appears to be taking the comment in case it was taken wrongly, her glance in time to see the way Delaana is smiling as she looks downward, which makes Elika's own smile widen all the more. Laughing when Crystal says that Lily and Elika will have to help her come up with a recipe the next time Lily finds a new ingredient, Elika says, "Sounds fair hon', maybe we'll even surprise you and try to be the chefs for a night. Crinkling her nose when she remembers that neither she nor Lily have a great deal of talent in the kitchen, Elika muses, Or maybe that wouldn't be surprising so much as frightening and possibly even potentially dangerous given our combined acumen in the cooking department."
Tracing the rim of her wine glass with the tip of an index finger, Elika says, "He should, when Delaana voices her opinion that Andros ask Cosimo about having a second location at the Raceways, glancing around at the tastefully understated and tranquil decor of the restaurant appraisingly, I imagine another location would do quite well there, and the amount of tourism attracted by the Raceways would probably increase his business at both locations. Hooking the tip of her pinkie finger beneath the thin silver chain she wears, Elika toys with it absently as she listens to Crystal take up the topic Delaana introduced, smiling with a tilt of her head to the side as she says, He should know all he needs to do is ask hon'," and then sips her wine before looking over at Delaana and smiling kittenishly when their eyes meet.

Nemes nods when Arezou, to his happy surprise, doesn't shoot his proposed exchange down, sitting up straighter as he mentally organizes his thoughts so that he can make his case without giving away anything they might not want the pair of savvy criminals to know. Once he feels he has his thoughts in order, the Rodian begins, "The first thing we did was eliminate the Vyridians as suspects. Both have solid alibis for the time frame in question. The Vice Governor was eliminated using biometric records from the government building, we know he was there. And several reliable witnesses confirmed his brother was at the Mist Order academy. We know where they were beyond the shadow of a doubt. With the help of Jedi from the Mist Order we were able to learn that the killer disguised themselves, either by using the Force or some other means. Maybe a holoshroud, or maybe they're a shapeshifter on top of being a Force user. What we know for sure is that the killer was a Force user, probably a female of average height or maybe a really thin male of below average height, left handed, and skilled in dueling. They wore a cloak, Nemes adds, rubbing the bottom of his snout after glancing towards Nazani to see if the curvy Lorrdian looks like she wants to jump in and seeing that she appears content to let him keep going for the time being. Well aware that their description could apply to any number of beings, Nemes opens his hands apologetically with a charming grin as he concludes, We know it isn't much on the face of it, but maybe that's something you can help us with. Do you know of any mercs or assassins for hire that match that description? Or can you think of anyone that might have hired someone with that skill set to try and cripple your organization?"

Usually Franz would have been the type of guy to always be aware of his surroundings, but right now he wasn't even focused on his surroundings, he was only focused on her, as if he was engraving her features on his mind, he was just taken by the way she held herself, not in the creepy way of course because that would be weird but he had noticed that she had been deeply lost in her thoughts and in a way right now he was feeling bad for even interrupting her in the first place, he wanted to apologize for that, for even interrupting her break he assumed, otherwise she wouldn't be here, right?
Still he had wished that he had found the courage earlier during their session to even engage in a talk with her, but he had been unfortunately mute throughout the entire session and the only thing he had told her was to do what she was most comfortable with, anything to put her at ease especially when he wasn't a regular in this place, especially when he did not even know how those things worked. At least though he had the decency to cover himself, he had the decency to tell her to just avoid the parts that he had purposely covered and now here he was fully dressed in front of her and also looking at her. He really was no longer good at this, he really did not really know what to say but just that thanks where he had stammered due to nervousness, due to random reasons, he did not know. All he knew right now was that he did not want to pass up as some weirdo and he did not want to invade her privacy more than he already had right now by interrupting her.
When Ayodele extended her hand for a shake, Franz was somewhat inwardly relieved and he extended his own hand to shake hers gently, and then he smiled sheepishly again because it was then and there that he noticed, and remembered, that his nails were painted black. But he had been surprised to feel that her hand was relatively cool but also soft at least compared to his... Finally releasing her hand, Franz inclined his head in acknowledgment and smiled once more but this time it was really a warm smile and friendly one to begin with. "It is nice to meet you," Franz said sincerely before furrowing his eyebrows as he looked upwards somewhat exasperatedly at himself. "Not that we haven't already met but, uh yeah, it's nice to put a name on the person who untied the knots on my back." Franz scratched the back of his head and knew that somehow what he had just said definitely sounded lame really, seriously that was stupid...
And now she seemed to be the one to be putting him at ease, even though in his honest opinion, it was nothing she did or did not do that made him feel this way, he was just no longer used to socializing this much with people in general and especially with the opposite gender that were attractive to him. Smiling warmly and gratefully, Franz nodded at the question. "It is, I was dragged along, but I suppose that I am glad to have been dragged here," Franz looked back at her with a warm and charming smile this time before taking a deep breath. "I know this is going to sound weird and maybe completely crazy, especially from a guy you barely know, but would it be okay if I asked you if I could see you again or even ask you if you want to have a cup of coffee with me or just hang out wherever, to just hang out and talk? Whenever you are free of course and if you are actually free?" He was sincere and he knew that he had been forthcoming right then and there but he knew that she was on a break and she was bound to return to her job sooner or later and he also had to return to his table and do that job that he had been assigned to begin with...
But Franz somewhat knew that he had probably blew his chances to begin with, Ayodele seemed like a well put together woman, beautiful too and he was sure that she was taken, or maybe she wasn't but it did not change the fact that he had been too forthcoming and that he had been the awkward kind of guy and obviously he was no Model Face who could be suave to boot, but really, at least he would know and he did try, either way if she said yes he would take out his comlink and ask for her frequency and then he would even ask the barkeep for a piece of paper and a pen to hand his frequency to her and if not, then he wouldn't even push at all and he would even apologize for that to begin with...
