Atlantis was the type of person that always needed to do something... The last thing he remembered clearly doing was to clear off the site for the future Academy and now, now it has been completed. He knew that it wouldn't be too long until he might be contacted to inaugurate the new place. Something remained though, he was sure that Raan would be there, and despite Atlantis being a somewhat regular resident of the Senator's residence, he, to tell the truth, never really felt home there, and felt out of place too. At least there was one thing that was currently making him happy, or several things. One of them, Crystal was slowly and surely getting a hold of the Force but it stopped there, for now. Of course he wouldn't force her to manipulate it, or perfect it because that wasn't him and that was her life. So whatever she decided, which she, he figured, already did then he would abide by it, no questions asked. Second thing was that the Academy was finally fully constructed, he would spent enormous time there, that was a fact. On the flip side though, it seemed that they had lost some people currently, it was saddening but at the same time perfectly understandable, that too he wouldn't hold it against them. Maybe they would come back, maybe not but again, he abided by their decisions... That was all there was. Well one thing at a time, at least he was still familiar with this place. Atlantis leaned back against his seat, he was at a café for some coffee while listening to a tune that relaxed him, and yes as surprising as this sounded, upbeat songs relaxed him. He adjusted his earbuds and glanced at his chrono to check the time, before he knew it, he saw his datapad vibrate on the table, grabbing it to read the content of the message that seemed to have been sent by Admiral Varos to himself, Mace and Franz, he got the latest updates on the conditions of the fleet back up in space. He smiled and sent a reply to thank the Admiral for his update and the job he continuously provided to Umgul. Grabbing his cup, he noticed that it was empty, sighing softly he knew that he would need more coffee intake to embrace this new day, raising his arm, he requested for a refill and just looked back at his surroundings. Nothing much to see since the mists covered the streets but he could hear people bustling to and fro. Thinking about people, he thought about his brother and remembered that last conversations they both had. Something had happened in the Misty Lodge and he had decided to move out of the Senator's residence. He had finally found the reasons why his own doppelganger had destructed itself, and that left Atlantis unsettled to say the least... Sighing softly, he shook his head at the thought and just took his new cup when it was given to him and knew that he couldn't put himself in the middle, not that way and he somewhat preferred to avoid the crossfire that way but when it concerned his girlfriend, he just didn't know how to react, whether to tell her or not? It wasn't his place but the whole thing that had happened on her birthday really left him unsettled... If only he could fix that... If only... Atlantis thought as he took a sip of his coffee, before closing his eyes to relax his mind and try to think of something else before he did what he had to do for the day...

Still sitting there at the café and actually finishing his second coffee, Atlantis turned off his music the moment he noticed that his datapad was vibrating on the table before chirping off to tell him that he had received a message... Grabbing his datapad to read the content, Atlantis arched his eyebrow and read the content before even reading the legal disclaimer which was actually longer than the damn message! The hell? Shaking off that thought, he went through his brother's message again and furrowed his eyebrows to try and concentrate but a certain aura was stronger than the one he was actually looking for, although it was there, it was faint, compared to Crystal's now? That was expected.
Sighing softly and looking back at his screen Atlantis hit reply to respond to his brother, truth be told, he wasn't expecting Elika either until later on this week or the week after according to Crystal...
Standing up from his seat, Atlantis paid for the coffee he consumed and retrieved all of his belongings before checking one last time if he actually had those. When he was sure he had everything, he walked over to his speeder to head in the direction of the lakehouse. It was a win win situation for him in a sense, as after all, he will be able to see Crystal and perhaps ask the ladies if they needed to be dropped off and it would also be a good thing to see Elika after a while. This truly was going to be an opportunity for him to thank her for the Academy's construction and that also he would check when she was actually free for the inauguration.
That being said though... He was surprised and very curious on the reasons why she had come back so soon than originally planned.

"What was so ur- . . . Oh." Said the familiar voice as she poured her gaze upon her cousin standing right there in front of her. They were relatively in a secluded place, if you considered one of the city's darkened alley to be secluded. Ayla Vos was staring at her cousin, she had received a message to meet up with her at this precise location because she needed to talk with her. At first Ayla had thought that something was going to be done about that matter that had been discussed a while ago but she found out through Mace's thoughts that it wasn't the case at all. "Yes, I am quite aware of that . . ." Replied Ayla to that unspoken question that had flashed through Mace's mind. Sighing softly and shaking her head, she just couldn't believe that it had come to this, that is had come to that only because Honoros was so into following the textbook to the letter. "She is not part of our chain of commands so no, I do not condone his decision either." Ayla gave her own decision and her own thoughts about what was going on between Forcias and Lucine.
"He is stubborn like a mule, he won't be swayed easily or at all . . ." Mace sighed and rubbed her temple for a brief moment as she closed her eyes thinking about the several outcomes that may happen . . .
"You really sure you want to do that?" Asked Ayla dubiously, she wasn't questioning her cousin's decision or make her consider that decision but she actually just wanted to make sure she had thought about every possible outcomes. After for the rest, it'd be up to Forcias. Knowing the Major though, if it was to preserve that unity they all had, then he would cut his "relationship" with Lyn. Considering that Kes owed a lot to Honoros, it was what he might, would be compelled to do.
"People should have a choice, everyone should have a choice to decide for themselves. What makes Kes so different from that thought of mine?" Mace asked curiously. She was no totalitarian type of person and she despised when things were imposed on her. Honoros like anyone else should know that. She just couldn't believe that it had come to this, to that, when no damage was being done at all and Honoros had to come to that decision . . .
Speaking of the General himself, there he was walking towards them with Forcias by his side. Mace looked at the two men with a deadpan expression while Ayla just looked on with a placid expression, what could be said about the cousins right about now, they weren't giving anything away, whether it came to their expressions or signature when it came to Ayla, since hers was the only one in the open now.
"What is this about, a prep for Horsea's birthday or some surprise?" Asked Honoros, even though he really did not believe that due to the fact that none of them were big on birthdays anyways, he knew that Forcias would have been the one doing things on his own, in his very corner just to annoy Horsea.
"No." Replied Mace quickly, which had gotten her arched eyebrows from Forcias and Honoros. Though Mace's gaze was focused on Honoros' figure right now, and she didn't care if he was that tall and she didn't care if in an official capacity, he was the commanding officer of the Guardians overall. He had told her time and time again that she and Ayla outranked him in every capacity when it came to the Guardians. Today was the day to see how really he meant that, thought Mace.
"Why did you call us here then, Vos and why Horsea isn't here?" Forcias asked curiously. He knew for a fact that whenever Mace would call it would be for something important and part of him was thinking that it concerned that situation that it had to be fixed internally concerning the intel they had gathered a while ago. Due to unforeseen circumstances though, they really didn't get onto that just yet.
"It's not about that, Forcias . . ." Said Ayla quickly picking on his thoughts as she looked on at the Major before looking back at Honoros. "Honoros should know about this." She added on before glancing back at her cousin with a knowing look considering that she knew Mace would want to explain and want to lay every cards on the table, albeit in this dark alley, but still.
"Honoros . . ." Called out Mace as she kept on looking at the General with that same deadpan expression. "You are quite aware that I was with you all this morning." She stated factually before adding on. "And you are quite aware that as much as I want to, I cannot shut down your thoughts even if I wanted to." Lifting her hand to prevent Honoros from interrupting her or just to say something. "I know your intentions concerning Kes here and I just cannot believe that you would give him an ultimatum just because you want things done a certain way." Noticing from the corner of her eyes that Forcias' eyes had widened, the man's attention shifted from Ayla to Honoros for some explanation. He knew he could hear it from Mace and Ayla but he preferred to hear it from Honoros knowing full well that the cousins weren't the kind to say something that wasn't their place to tell.
If there was one thing that Honoros hated, it was to be ambushed and he put on the spot just like that, but he was very aware of what Mace was referring to, he knew that Mace's mind reading ability exceeded Ayla's in that regards, especially since she had been cured by one of the Solaris' brothers. "What do you expect me to do, Vos? Lose all credibility and everything I stand for because one of our trusted ranking officer can't keep that in whenever he is with one of the UDF's ranking officers?" It was a rhetorical statement and he couldn't believe that the Vos cousins would accept all of that and just allow for it to happen. The Guardians were always defined by a certain code and conduct, at least this generation and he made sure that it would be followed by them all.
"Is that the only thing you are worried about, losing your credibility?" Asked Mace with a stern voice before she shook her head at the thought. "General Aestrea, let me remind you something. I have never asked you and any of the Guardians to follow me on this forsaken universe. But you all still did, because of what? I have said it time and time again, that I was a rule bender, that I never did things by the book and that I will never be perfect . . ." Her gaze never left Honoros' as she spoke, there was just determination and facts in there. "You, knowing all of that, you all still followed and asked me to step up and be in charge on executive decisions. I have always said free will was the most important thing and, you, on the verge of going all unilateral on Forcias private life, you are really starting to shake my own belief as well."
Forcias was lost to say the least, he had no idea what was going on and quite honestly, he was not liking it. From the looks of it Mace and Ayla were standing on his side but Honoros wasn't, but about what? "Can someone please tell me what is going on?" Asked Forcias, he didn't like being the subject of a conversation while he was there and he didn't even know what was being discussed.
Honoros heard every single words that Mace had said and he looked at her and Ayla, noticing that Ayla wasn't really saying a thing either, at least not at this time when it clearly was a matter between him, Mace and Forcias. But from memories, he knew that Ayla didn't care at all either as long as Forcias did his job, or what was asked of him. That was it, it stopped there and whoever he saw or did off duty, that was none of their business. Honoros looked at Forcias with an unreadable expression and pursed his lips momentarily. "It's about you and Lyn, Kes."
About him and Lyn . . . He should have known, each time now several of the Guardians were either looking at him in a weird way or just went out of their way to avoid him. He didn't think much of it before but now that it was on the table, that ultimatum Mace mentioned a few moments ago, he finally found out what was going on. He also understood several things, it was creating a problem in the chain of commands right now but also between the rest of the guardians and Honoros. ". . . So what do you want me to do?" Begged Forcias actually wanting to stop all of this nonsense and get back to where they all were.
"Nothing at all." Said Ayla as she looked at Forcias before looking back at Honoros this time with a deadly glare. "And if me or Mace find out that you are forced to do something against your own will at the risk of being sent away back to Kiffex, then we are going to have a very serious talk with the General."
Honoros guessed that he had received his answer concerning Ayla's official stance. The cousins just did not understand at all. That was what he thought, they both didn't understand when the two of them were clearly no longer that much in touch with the rest of the Kiffars while he was running the day to day operations.
"Au contraire, I perfectly understand Honoros. Your leadership is being questioned by them. You know what? At this point I don't care if you ego is taking a blow with the rest of the guardians or if they are starting to question your authority. They can leave if they want, I have never placed them under an oath, they are under yours." Mace said indifferently, it was the truth, in this case, she exactly knew what she wanted and exactly knew what she needed. Right about now, she needed what was already on this planet and there was no way she was going to jeopardize. "So whatever you do, you do it but this is me in an official capacity saying that Major Forcias Kes stays here and he does whatever he wants, sees whomever he wants when he deems fit."
Mace was quite aware that she had just created a breach that maybe would be unrepairable but like she had told Horsea earlier, she didn't care at this point and right now either they all start acting like adults and start amending that textbook or whatever or they just leaved. That was it, period. "Think about it." Mace said one last time concerning this subject, she walked forward to leave this place but stopped next to Forcias. "Elikapeka and Lucine are back, I am sure you are already quite aware of that, they are earlier than expected so why don't you check on Lyn to see if she is unharmed or something?"
With those finals words, Mace and Ayla walked away from that dark alley, good thing that no one was really around and if there was, then that wasn't a big deal at all. Seriously at this point, she stopped caring due to the fact that she had other things to think about . . .

Despite being the one maneuvering the airspeeder, he was listening attentively to what was being said when it concerned him or his work... He had requested something from Crystal but that was a long time ago right before the survey and then he requested for her numbers to be reviewed with the amendments he had added to the project and the fact that she was already done with the projections, he was to say the least very surprised but then again, he wasn't expecting less from her at all. It was the same thing for Ljiljana Jankovic, she just like her childhood friend was a workaholic, and the fact that the two of them lived with Elika as well, that made him smirk inwardly and quite ironically.
Experience taught him that when you wanted something done and quickly best ask a woman but when something had to be addressed, often times that fell into the man's doing... After all, he was one of the first witness to that. If he had to constitute a team, for any case whatsoever, he'd surround himself by women... Fact. He was in no way diminishing his job or Raan's but both of them had to admit that the core of the government was represented by women exclusively.
It went from the political advisor, to the Chief Financial Office, to the Attorney General and then also the Director of the Intelligence Department. You want a job done, ask a woman, simple as that. Soon enough Elika was going to join them, that was a fact and he was only waiting for the Senator's green light about that.
Pulling over to the parking space that was reserved for him, he shut off the engine and turned to look at Crystal with a knowing expression. "Just send me a holo message, if you can't spare that little time, Crystal. That is fine by me." He pursed his lips and inclined his head before getting out of the airspeeder with the two women and he inclined his head the moment he found Crystal's gaze again. "Thank you by the way." Andros said before he looked around, just a habit of his.
He looked at the building's access that would lead all of them to their offices on different levels and he glanced at his chrono for a moment, well he wasn't gone long, which was a good thing. "Either way if any of you two need to see me, just get to my office, my door is always open for you both unless told otherwise due to some issues I may deal with." Andros said as he called for the lift so that they could get to the interior of the building.
"Which reminds me, Counselor Jankovic, did you encounter any problems upon consulting some texts?" Andros asked dubiously as the lift arrived and he let them both get in first, now that they were here, usually he wouldn't use titles but since they were at their work place, then that was different, he was really separating business and play time.

When I think about it, I should probably ask one of the bosses, in this case the Vice Governor, if it is possible for me to have an assistant ... Why would he say no? Seriously, I can't run everywhere to get things especially when I am at the other side of the building or town ... That is on my to-ask list, but for now since I am just navigating in the midst of all of those obsolete laws, then it's not really my first priority ...
For now, it is time to drown back into my office and prep myself with strong black coffee, because I foresee another antisocial day from my part. I have to review all of those commerce laws which is surprisingly my favorite ... Don't ask me why, I am wired weirdly.
I look up at Andros when he tells Kayne and I that we are always welcome into his office and I cannot help but to smile at that ... Sure at first I might had been a little reluctant to work for the government due to his temperament overall but the more I hanged around, the more I could see the whats and whys not only Crystal but also Elika appreciated him.
Time to put the work face on ... As Andros indeed called me by my position, I just look at him and shake my head. "Nee, none whatsoever Vice-Governor ... I tell him sincerely with a warm smile, why would I have problems to access those, when he provided me with the green card to access those datas that concerned my jurisdiction. He has been very helpful and I have nothing further to add about that. Stepping into the turbolift with Kayne, knowing that the three of us are in different areas of the building, I just turn to look at Andros with a knowing smile. But if I do encounter a problem, indeed, I shall let you know, Sir, thanks."
Knowing that I am the first to exit the turbolift, I turn to look at Kayne with a dubious expression. "Lunch back home? It isn't really a question but more of a suggestion, considering what Elika has been through recently, I know for sure that Kayne just like myself would want to be there for our friend. Comm me, baby girl. Have a nice day you two." I finally say as the lift stopped at my floor and I smile one last time before exiting the lift to get towards my office ...

They say getting used to something takes time, they also say that getting over something takes time...
Atlantis knew that perfectly, after his talk with Elika, way after his talk with her, he had decided to just get lost in the city for now. Get lost? But how? When every sentient being knew him, he even had in mind to adopt his brother's facial expressions to be left alone but it definitely was against his nature. Atlantis was just Atlantis, lost in thoughts and not paying attention to anything at all in particular.
Perhaps he should head to the Academy, just perhaps he should stake it out perhaps but he had previously decided against it due to the fact that he actually had wanted Elika to set her foot in there first. She had been the one who created it, envisioned it and he really didn't want it any other way. When Atlantis looked at the sea of people coming to and fro, he smiled faintly, at least he could see the population was happy. One of the current talks had been the great domestic project that had been engineered by the Vice Governor, the farms that were flocking outside the city and were currently providing for the city. The Vice Governor's popularity was soaring, the last time he heard, which he found amusing in a way because he very well knew that his brother despised being in the spotlight.
Also it seemed that the planet's finances were well being taken care of, the welfare had improved and was still improving, the legislature too, apparently, was improving and less crimes on the planet had been reported, thanks to the security measures that had been implanted. Now, with all of that, he wondered where that leaved him? Sure the Order had been called from time to time when it concerned Force sensitive problems but then, really where did that leave him? He used to be a man of action, he used to always do something and lately, just lately, it seemed that really of that importance had occurred... Even though before Atlantis had been in the middle of several dramas, at least, he was of use.
Atlantis sighed softly and grabbed his cup of coffee to take a sip of it before relaxing and leaning against his seat. Despite his musings really, he knew that he wouldn't change a thing in his life currently because after all, he was happy. At least emotionally, yes, but one thing remained, he really still needed to have that talk with Raan, that had been too long overdue...

"Is this seat taken?"
Franz had just spoken as he placed his hand on the back of the seat that was situated next to Atlantis'. Everything seemed to have changed about him, his voice was graver and less joking. His cloth was different, it was no longer white but black. It was over his face, that much was given and when he removed it, his hair was longer and he had grown a stubble.
A lot of things had changed and a lot of things had been done. It went from Arhiana leaving to Lara and Keith leaving as well. All in all now, he was sans apprentice and quite honestly, it was better that way, he wasn't ready yet, he wasn't prepared to be exact. All he knew was that during those last few months, he had trained his mind and body perfecting his skills that he already knew.
He had been wearing somber clothes and he also had played with the idea to leave momentarily and finish a few things back in the unknown regions but he knew that he simply could not walk away from his family, he wasn't going to do the same thing he had done before. No, Franz wasn't grieving at all, he was just exhausted with the training he had undergone perfecting his skills.
He focused his attention on his cousin and narrowed his eyes slightly, he knew when Atlantis was being thoughtful or when he would lose himself in his thoughts. It was clearly written on his features. Deciding not to question that, because Atlantis was Atlantis and the man had a lot of things in his mind, Franz looked at the droid waiter and requested for a cup of stim caf before sitting down on the seat.
"How is she?" Franz asked quite aware that Elika had come back and mainly he had reclused himself but still he was getting the updates from his cousin whenever Atlantis would visit him up in the mountains. Franz leaned back against his seat and focused his attention onto his cousin. He felt so disconnected with everything but at the same time, he had been glad to have spent that moment on his own and recenter himself, so to speak. If he had been asked, it had nothing to do with the departure of someone, she had gone and there was nothing he could do about that, and no he did not grieve, and he certainly felt no sadness at all. He knew better. He just needed to prepare himself for something apparently and that was what he had done exactly.
"Anything eventful, that I may have missed, Atlantis?" He arched his eyebrow dubiously before receiving his caf to which he paid for and he focused his attention back onto Atlantis.

Helaine lounges in a chair, her legs curled beneath her, as she watches Lyov duel a trio of ASP-19 battledroids armed with lightfoils. Though she cultivates an air of boredom, the Zeltron watches the duel from the corner of her eye intently, looking for anything in her Master’s technique that she will be able to exploit when the time inevitably comes that he is of no further use to her. The Epicanthix utilizes a combination of Makashi and Soresu, befitting his patient and directed nature, and Helaine can, as usual, frustratingly detect nothing in his execution of the combination that might be used against him.
Tossing Lyov a towel when he has completed his workout, Helaine affects a yawn as she uncurls from the chair and walks to him, smiling coyly as she purrs, “I have something for you.” Lyov answers with an arched eyebrow and Helaine, like a cat depositing a dead mouse at the feet of its owner, smugly holds a datapad out to him.
Lvov takes the offered datapad and wipes the sweat from his face and neck as he reads the news article Helaine had brought up on it, detailing the suicide of the editor of a large local news service and the prediction that Doran Healy, who is thoroughly under Helaine’s sway, will be taking his place. “Well done,” Lyov tells Helaine, knowing that she was responsible for the editor’s death since he tasked her with seeing that Healy was promoted to his position.
Helaine pouts in her childishly high and breathy voice, “Don’t you want to know how I . . .”
Lyov cuts her off disinterestedly, feeling no need to fuel her already considerable narcissism, “I have your next assignment,” and goes on to explain that he has selected the individual that will provide them with access to the underworld and the resources to be gained from it. The task will not be a straightforward one, requiring that Helaine locate and then bring the individual under her, and therefore Lyov’s, control.
“It will be done,” Helaine says, bowing in an almost exaggerated fashion and with a smile that only just barely keeps the gesture from being openly insincere.
“Leave no . . .” Lyov begins to say.
“Trace?” Helaine finishes for him, frowning as though hurt by the suggestion she would be clumsy enough to leave a trail that could lead back to her or to him, “Do I ever?” Giving Lyov her back, Helaine turns to ascend the stairs, beginning to plan how to achieve what has been asked of her and how she can best benefit from it.
That Helaine’s proneness for boredom is a quality he needs to be on guard against is something that Lyov is acutely aware of, just as he knows that her loyalty will endure only so long as she feels he can further her knowledge and power. Fortunately, Lyov feels certain that their training and the tasks he provides her with are not yet unequal to the challenge of directing the Zeltron towards the ends that suit his purpose and of securing her loyalty. As Lyov has worked to curry the favor and support of those individuals that move in the circles of Umgul’s elite, so subtly fastening the strings to their limbs that they are unaware of the fact they have become as puppets waiting to be directed, Helaine has, in addition to her solitary pursuits, been occupied with aiding him in his endeavor as well as with finding individuals that have the skills or resources they will need later, when direct action will be required. Helaine’s biological gifts, when combined with the Force skills Lyov has taught her, make her an ideal agent for influencing others, often without their ever becoming aware of the fact they have been manipulated. Lyov is confident Helaine will accomplish what he has asked of her, it being now only a simple matter of waiting so that they can proceed to the next step in their plan.

Kneeling a few feet from the sprawled, lifeless bodies of a Trandoshan and a Weequay, Helaine listens for any sound that indicates her activities have been overheard and then, hearing none, carefully scans the area from beneath the shadow of her hood, reading the story the scene in the alley will tell to ensure that the tale told is precisely as she wants it to be read: a simple robbery, perhaps, or possibly an outburst in a turf war between rival criminal outfits. The kill zone, in the type of lower class area that drug dealers typically ply their trade, was scouted beforehand, chosen due to the lack of any surveillance cameras nearby. Helaine has the credits and the different varieties of spice the pair had on them to sell to their clients to further enhance the appearance of a robbery, and though she would so like to have taken the time to play with them before killing them, Helaine dispatched them with the blaster taken from the Trandoshan after gaining from him the name she sought. A name that will bring her one step closer to her true quarry.
Rising, satisfied that she has left nothing that will lead to her, Helaine drops the blaster from her gloved hand and walks calmly from the alley, the omnipresent mists enshrouding the city streets swirling and parting briefly to admit her before gathering behind her almost immediately.
Lyov is standing on the deck overlooking the city when he hears Helaine sliding the door open behind him, not turning as he asks, “A good hunt?"
Wrapping her arms around Lyov’s waist, Helaine leans against him as she answers, “Productive, but unsatisfying. Far too easy, and over too quickly.”
Lyov, familiar enough with Helaine’s methods that he need not ask whether she is sure that there is no threat of an investigation leading to her, addresses her frustration with the simplicity of the deed, “The goal is not to amuse yourself.” Turning to face the Zeltron, Lyov holds her chin in his hand, lifting her face to look into her eyes to emphasize his words as he says, “Find your entertainment elsewhere.”
Helaine, who has never had any trouble finding ways to indulge in the games she enjoys, smiles as though unconcerned about the threat implicit in Lyov’s tone, tilting her head to stroke her cheek with his hand as she assures him, “Of course.” Stepping back from him, Helaine drops into a chair as she asks, “Speaking of entertainment, are we not hosting one of your little charity dinners here tomorrow? Is there anyone you would like me to pay special attention to?”
Lyov seats himself in the chair across from Helaine’s and tells her which of the guests that will be attending the dinner, a benefit for homeless children that will further the image of a generous, civic minded philanthropist that he has been cultivating, singling out a police commissioner, a district board of education member, and the owner of a large shipping concern for her to begin gaining influence over.

Walking through the holo-crime scene tape, Nazani, an olive complected Lorrdian with a head of unruly black chin length curls, takes a pair of latex gloves from the pocket of her trench coat as she walks up behind her partner, a gangly male Rodian, and asks, “What’ve we got?”
Squatting beside the body of the Trandoshan, thin, suction-tipped hands resting on his knees, the Rodian says in a weary voice, “Two dead drug dealers, no witnesses, no obvious evidence. Coroner puts the TOD at around 3 a.m. Both shot at close range with, he nods towards a blaster laying near the bodies, a blaster, probably, he points at the empty holster on the Trando’s thigh, the vic’s. No creds or drugs on either of them. Glit-biter couldn’t pay to feed his habit maybe, decided to just take his fix.”
Frowning as she looks around the alley, Nazani notes, “Not much sign of a struggle. These two wouldn’t have been easy for an addict to take out; be too twitchy, eyesight blown. Shaking her head, she says, This is too neat for a ‘biter. I.D.s?”
Tapping the keys of his datapad as the flashing and popping of the crime scene tech’s camera illuminates the alley more brightly in brief strobic flares, Conall reads, “Trando goes by Zabat. Been in on possession, assault, robbery, and arson beefs. Weequay is Nahcomence. Spent 4 years in the joint for possession with intent, has priors for assault. They’re both with Klivian’s outfit. Maybe another outfit wanted their corner?”
“Maybe, Nazani says, her gut telling her that this case is destined for the unsolved pile, then turns to wave the meat wagon’s stretcher crew over to take the bodies away. You got the uni’s canvassing? Any cams that might have caught anything we need to get footage for?”
“Uniforms are already knocking on doors, no one’s seen or heard anything yet. Big surprise in this area, he sniffs, Closest cams are four blocks from here, I’ve got someone on it, but, his tapir-like snout turns down at the corners, we both know unless our perp was carrying a neon fuggin’ sign saying that they did this the footage is useless. There goes our solve rate for the month.”
Patting her partner on the shoulder as he stands, Nazani agrees, “Probably. As they walk to their speeder, she runs a hand through her dark curls and sighs, Let’s round up any of our CI’s that might have some skinny on anyone moving in on Klivian while we wait for the autopsy, see if anything kicks loose.”

Umgul City’s coroner, Nic Claus, is an elderly human, tall and heavy-set with a head of long white hair and a matching bushy but well-kempt beard. “Detectives!” Nic greets Pakchoian and her partner in a jolly voice when they enter his domain, “You’re here, no doubt, for the results of the autopsies on the Trandoshan and Weequay? I’ve nothing that will provide any illumination on the identity of their killer, I’m afraid.” Walking to a clipboard sitting on a counter, Nic flips through the pages as he says, “Cause of death in both cases was catastrophic injury to the brain resulting from blaster trauma, no surprises there. Your Weequay had some antemortem bruising on the back of his right knee and right temple, but no additional signs of a protracted struggle. I’d estimate that the bruising suggests your assailant used a kick to temporarily render the victim immobile, and then knocked him unconscious with the blow to the side of the head. The blaster wound makes identifying the source of the head trauma difficult, but I’d guess it was an unarmed strike, as was the kick. No wounds, defensive or otherwise, other than the fatal blaster shot on the Trandoshan. No drugs on board for either of them, nothing out of the ordinary in their stomach contents or other organ systems. I’ll send you copies of the final reports once I enter them in the system.” Setting the clipboard back on the counter, Nic says, “As I said, not much for you to work with.”
The results of the canvasing of the area surrounding the scene of the crime similarly offer little for the detectives to work with. Two residents report hearing one or more blaster shots shortly before or after three in the morning, confirming the estimated time of death, but no residents reported seeing anyone or anything suspicious before or during the time frame of the assault. Informants questioned have not heard any rumors of rivals planning to infringe on Klivian’s territory, suggesting that theory is incorrect. Examination of the security camera footage would reveal nothing of investigative value.

Stepping into the city soon after leaving Lieutenant Aestrea's office, Forcias was staring blankly at the people scurrying to and fro their daily business. He didn't exactly know what he was thinking or it was really the first time that he was standing there with his mind completely blank. He was just standing, and even though a lot of people were flashing right before his eyes, he really wasn't paying attention and usually he paid attention to the details of his surroundings.
But not today and not this time.
Especially not after what Ayla had told him privately in the office a few minutes ago.
Those words echoed in his mind, those words were tearing him apart. But it was exactly that one word that made him stop him from contesting to begin with. . .
He did not want to go back there, he did not want to go once again to that tumultuous place that was once his past. Yes, he did owe Honoros for pulling him out of there for making something out of him. And yes he also knew that if he stopped everything now either way he might end up going back there. He did not want it, he refused to. He had been told a lot of times that he was needed here but clearly some wanted him to act a certain way and some told him to just follow his feelings and his gut.
Right now all he wanted and all he needed was to see her, only her. To see if she was all right, to see if she was fine. The last time she was gone and came back, she had returned injured and he had healed her because deep inside he did not like seeing her in pain, seeing her injured. Yes, he cared a lot or too much to the point that he was going against the order of someone he respected that much.
But now. . .
Now, he was placing his faith and maybe his very own soul to two cousins who knew more things than he would ever realize. He should stop feeling sorry now, and he should stop acting like a puppet to please everyone he knew. Forcias was certain that in the end someone might get hurt and if it was him, then he preferred that. Maybe he was being selfish and maybe he was being too self centered but right now, he only had one desire and that was to find her and see with his own eyes that she was fine.
He cared. Period.
Clearing his mind from the fog that surrounded it, Forcias made his way towards Lucine's apartment in the hopes to find her there and if not he would sit right there in front of her door and wait for her to actually head there. He hoped that she would and sooner rather than later. . .

Lucy, who seldom plans anything in her personal life as meticulously as she plans when she is on the job, had not gotten any further with her thoughts on how to spend her unanticipated leave than purchasing a bottle of wine, comming Forcias, and seeing where things led from there. Hopping from her M-31 airspeeder after setting it down on her apartment building's rooftop landing pad, a bottle of Cerean Naiana wine in hand, Lucy frees her hair from its ponytail as she all but skips down the steps to her apartment, having added a bath to her plans.
Stopping when she spots Forcias sitting in front of her apartment, the left corner of Lucy's lips curl up in a smile as she thinks her day just keeps getting better and better. The smile lasts until she is near enough to see Forcias' expression clearly enough to determine that he seems preoccupied, and Lucy's steps slow as she finds herself unexpectedly torn between what she would normally do in the situation - selfishly ignore his obvious mood and endeavor to make him forget all about it by distracting him by making it clear what she had in mind - and what she feels like doing now instead - set what she wanted aside in order to find out what is troubling him and what she can do about it, which will probably entail some degree of SERIOUS CONVERSATION.
Sitting beside Forcias, Lucy leans against him without saying anything for a moment even though silence is something she typically abhors. Lucy would not be Lucy if she were able to act as though she is taking things seriously even when she is doing so, and so her first words, accompanied by a playfully aggrieved sigh, are, "I guess it's really about time I gave you the keys to my apartment, huh? Putting her arm around Forcias' shoulders rather than punching him in it instead as she would typically do, Lucy rests her head against his and, her tone concerned now, surprising herself with just how important it feels to her that she finds out what has caused him to look so forlorn, asks, You alright? Unable to resist her inclination to tease, she adds lightly, I was gone seven weeks, I hope you weren't sitting out here waiting for me the whole time. Wincing slightly, clearly regretting the surrender to levity, Lucy says softly, Sorry, rubbing his back as she gently asks him, Really, is something wrong?"

Forcias was there. . .
He was there where he wanted. Leaning against Lucine's apartment door, his head low and his arms resting on his bent knees. His mind was currently chaotic and he knew that if Mace and/ or Ayla were nearby they would either tell him to snap out of it or just completely block their abilities to hear his thoughts. Thankfully, none of them were there and his tumultuous emotions were shielded by his crystal lightsaber.
Forcias knew that he released it from himself, it would be a beacon for any Force sensitive who knew him. A beacon that clearly screamed conflict and turmoil. He did not know how to control this right now, because fact was he hadn't felt this way in a very long time. He was only waiting for the person that could release him from that current state of mind, even if it was temporary, he was only at peace whenever he was around her for plenty of reasons.
When he felt her approaching, Forcias raised his head to look straight at her, and despite the frown and pain on his features, he couldn't the deny the fact that seeing her right there before him made him happy. Her hair flowing freely, her steps and just her overall features, everything about her took his breath away and it seemed like a heavier impact to him after not seeing her for what seemed like a long time.
Forcias, at first, didn't know what he was getting himself into, from that night with her to the following night, and the following ones. . . He really did not know. At first it was only supposed to be for fun, only supposed to be casual but each time he found and saw her, he would end up with her until one of them were called for something and if they were lucky, until the break of dawn. They weren't officially together, that much he knew and that much he tried to keep it that way but same thing remained, he always ended up being in her bed and he never fought that feeling whenever he was around her.
Her nearness to him nearly made him lose control but he locked every part of his body into not giving in that temptation. She deserved better than that even though he knew that she never really had a thing against it. What he wanted, he would get it and she would give it to him and it was the same with her, what she wanted he would give it, no questions asked and they didn't even need to talk.
"Mmm." Confirmed Forcias with a faint sound emitting from his throat because unlike her, he really did not have a place he called his own and he clearly did not want to subject her to the stares of the others in the freighter.
His breathing broke a little due to her, due to what she was doing to him and what she had just asked, he actually had no idea on how to reply to that. There were so many wrong things, like he shouldn't even be here, that he shouldn't even pursue this, whatever this was between them and yet here he was. Needing her. Wanting her. . .
"I'd wait however long it takes. . ." Finally replied Forcias and maybe it was for her question about her being gone and maybe it was for something else, but fact remained that he would indeed wait until he could officially say that he was hers, exclusively hers. Although in a way, he already was, there was no one else making him feel this way. Maybe he was currently buying some time to order his thoughts and maybe give her that precise answer that his COs were arguing to the point that Mace and Ayla were telling Honoros to just suck it up, and in the middle of it Horsea was there because he and the general's sister were close friends and maybe she could convince him.
But really none of the words were coming out because it wasn't Lucy's fight and it wasn't her argument with his chain of command. Instead, he closed his eyes and tilted his head on the side to kiss her temple. "I want you. . ."
It wasn't really what he wanted to tell her right now, even though that explicit wording could perfectly mean that. But no, it was that at all. Forcias took a deep breath and let his lips trail her skin towards her neck as he continued to speak. "I want you to know that no matter what you hear and no matter what happens. . ." Forcias pulled his head back and looked at her seriously as he removed her arm from around his shoulder.
"It'll always be you, and I will always come to you, because I can't help myself." He finally told her softly as he stood up from where he was sitting, he helped her up as well and with that, he just couldn't help himself and just pinned her against her door to kiss her passionately. There was urgency, it looked like his life depended on it and it felt like he didn't want to let go.
He didn't want to be pulled away from this and while he continued to kiss her, he patted her pants to find the keys to her apartment and when he finally did, he pulled away and unlocked her door. His gaze was filled with raw emotions, he had missed her, and he needed to feel her in his arms and savor every moments he spent with her.

When Forcias pulls away Lucy barely has time to catch her breath before his search for the keys takes it away again, and her body is screaming GO as the door opens behind them, obliterating all thoughts of her earlier plans for the evening. Unbelievably, Lucy finds that her body's GO is actually warring with her mind's imperative that she finds out what the frak is going on that has brought on the urgency and desperation that is emanating from Foricas' actions and words, and when she steps back into her apartment, she puts her hands on his chest and pushes him back gently as she hoarsely says, "Wait," and then steps back from him, running her hands through her hair while she forces herself to keep her body from winning out over her concern for Forcias even though she knows that there would be some comfort and reprieve to be had for him if she lost the struggle and that surrender would also keep her firmly in familiar territory rather than the unaccustomed intentional foray into SERIOUS CONVERSATION she finds herself courting.
Pointing at her sofa, winning the fight for the moment to go through with talking through whatever has Forcias so visibly upset, Lucy says, "Sit, then taps the side of the wine bottle as she says, I'll be right back, before turning to walk to her kitchen. Tossing her flight jacket on the kitchen island, then removing her holstered DC-15s and dropping it on top of her flight jacket, Lucy rubs the back of her neck as she sighs up at the ceiling. Fanning the front of her black short sleeved t-shirt, Lucy walks over to her cabinets and finds two wine glasses, telling herself to try and be girly about things rather than blunt since she knows she has a tendency to prefer the uncomplicated to the complicated, which won't do anyone any good in an emotional situation like the one she assumes has Forcias acting so differently. Pouring the wine, Lucy smiles, accepting what she has probably realized for some time now and wondering whether Forcias realizes what she is revealing by not having given in to the temptation to use the physical aspect of their relationship to avoid needing to delve into what might lay beyond it. Picking up the wine glasses, Lucy walks back into the living room, handing one to Forcias and then sitting on the couch facing him.
"Right, Lucy says, forgetting the being girly-girl about things part momentarily, so, what's up? Waving her free hand, wincing as she realizes that she sounds abrupt, Lucy sips her wine and thinks to herself, Hells, I suck at this crap. Sorry, Lucy says, then tries again, her concern evident in her tone if not her choice of words, Look, I'm not complaining about the sudden . . . intensity, she smiles, At all. But something must have happened to bring it on. Remembering his words from before, Lucy repeats them now, No matter what I hear or what happens? What might I hear, Forcias? Leaning forward and putting the palm of her free hand against his cheek tenderly, Lucy says, Talk to me. What's going on?"

Forcias had not expected her to do that. . . He had no expected her to prevent him doing what he felt, needed to do right now. He stood down though when she told him to wait when she moved away from him. For a moment he had thought that she was going to kick him out, he had thought that he had blown it. But what did he blow exactly? For as long as he remembered, they did not talk much; they did not fight their impulses. Why now? Why. . . Just why.
He stood there motionless for a brief moment, even after he had closed the door. Forcias still had that noticeable frown on his features. Not having much of a choice when she told him to sit, he did so without dissent, without even speaking once because clearly he was not in the mood for conflict. He was not in the mood to really go on second guessing what came through her mind. He had to be honest too, he was not a mind reader and he really had no intentions on analyzing her emotions right now, on what she might have been feeling because of what he had just said or done.
He watched her, which was undeniable, he couldn’t tear his gaze away from her, and he just couldn’t at all. She was here, he was here and all he could do was to look, silently. Forcias was supposed to be better than this, he was supposed to be one of the best analytical person amongst the Kiffars but today, he was clearly off mark. His mind was foggy that much was obvious and he also knew that each time he was around her, he lost control and gave into his impulsion of being with her.
Grabbing the glass when presented to him, Forcias could not help but to let out a faint humorless chuckle before he shook his head until he felt her hand on his cheek. Not really in the right kind of mind to drink this glass of wine, at least not just yet, he placed it down onto the coffee table. Now they were supposed to talk, what was he supposed to say to that? How was he supposed to reply to that without involving her into the stupid politics of his COs. In this case, it wasn’t just him or Honoros, it was also the cousins, the general’s sister and the rest. A lot are expecting for him to end this, to end what he had with her. Whatever that might have been.
Tilting his head slightly on the side to bury his mouth and his nose into the palm of her hand, Forcias inhaled deeply before looking back at her when he pulled his head back. “Did you ever once think that we would get to where we are now with only that single word of yours?” Asked Forcias with a faint grin, he seemed tired all of a sudden, like every bit of his energy had been drained by his thoughts. But he clearly remembered that word of hers back in the intelligence department, she kept answering him by that word ‘Right.’
He stood up from the sofa because he knew, he just knew deep inside of him if he remained that close to her, he would stop talking altogether. He did not want to do that when quite clearly she was showing signs of being concerned, the tone of her voice gave it away, her gaze, everything about her gave it all away. It just reverberated around him. He took a deep breath and finally turned around to face her.
"I was ordered to break it off with you a while ago." He did not say who ordered him, he did not add any more details but he would if she did ask him. There was conflict in his eyes because obviously it wasn’t just the order that was bothering him, it was everything that was happening due to him refusing to begin with. He shook his head and took a profound breath.
"And I can’t. . ."
He did not say the reason why he couldn’t he did not carry on that sentence but he knew that she would understand with those simple statements of his. He was ordered to do that a while ago and still he let that hanging up in the air under the pretense that Lucy was currently offworld, that she was on assignment with Elikapeka Hekekia, so obviously nothing happened during that period of time.
“I wanted you to know that. . .” Forcias referred of course to what he had said, to what she had repeated. “I can’t help the fact that I am worried about you when you are away, that I can’t stand the fact that you could be injured while you are out there.” He had said it, he was sincere all the way but he also knew that it took two to make this work.
“But if you tell me that I should let go and actually break it off because you might not feel the same way like I do when it comes to you, then I will stand down.” It might have been the most painful words he had spoken when it came to him in his entire life and all the emotions he was feeling towards her, he did not quite honestly know how to define it, but he was sure and certain that he did care about her to the point that he would actually refuse to follow an order that was given to him.

Knowing precisely what Forcias means by 'here' when asking if she remembers their meeting in the intelligence department, Lucy answers with a nod accompanied by a smile that is equal parts amused, touched and slightly scared by the fact that they are both all but openly admitting that their relationship has gone far past casual; something that she herself has avoided in the past and had thought she would never allow to happen. Breaking her personal rules, however, is not paramount in her mind; the fact that something is troubling Forcias is what her focus is on, and so she sets her own fears and sense of imbalance aside to give him her full attention.
Turning to face Forcias when he stands, remaining seated since she is bound and determined not to resort to physicality to deal with whatever it is that is going on, Lucy tucks her feet beneath her and listens without interrupting, even when she feels a flare of confusion and anger when he reveals that he had been ordered to break it off with her sometime ago. Her expression, openly displaying her anger and confusion since she does not typically make concealing her feelings a priority when not on the job, softens visibly when Forcias goes on to say that he couldn't follow the order, and then explains why, and then goes back to confused and annoyed when he says that he worries for her - since, in her mind, worry translates to thinking she's incapable of handling herself - and then to incredulous when he concludes by saying that he would break it off if she were to confess she does not feel the same way about him as he does about her.
Despite the fact she can see that laying himself so bare before her has left him feeling vulnerable, Lucy cannot keep herself from asking, "Are you frakking kidding me? Girly, Lucy reminds herself silently, have to try and be girly. Standing up, setting her wine glass on her coffee table, Lucy walks over towards Forcias, saying, Look, that came out wrong. I'm not really great at this kind of sh . . .thing, so if you really mean all that you've said, you're just going to have to accept me, rough edges and all. Putting her hands on either side of Forcias' face, Lucy smiles at him and explains, In case that wasn't clear, you dope, I'm not asking you stand down. Putting her arms around his neck and resting her head against her chest so that she doesn't have to look at him while letting herself be vulnerable in return for what he has given her, Lucy, to tell him that she feels the same way as he does without actually having to spell it out for him, says softly, I don't want you to stand down."
Taking a moment to simply enjoy the feel of Forcias, his smell and the sound of their breathing, Lucy doesn't say anything else until, lifting her head and looking up into his eyes, she grins and, forgetting once more to be girly and savor the moment, allows her anger at a certain situation to get the better of her and so says, "Now that we have that out of the way, she slides her hands slowly down the sides of his arms, taking his hands in hers and pulling him back towards the couch, Let's get a few other things straight. Pushing Foricas down on one side of the sofa, Lucy drops onto the other side, turning to face him as she holds up a finger and says in an amused tone that is only part teasing, I am no one's frakking damsel in distress, so don't worry about me, alright? It pisses me off. Nodding as though taking it for granted that Forcias will agree, Lucy says, Ok, it was only one thing, with a laugh when she realizes that it was only one thing she needed to clarify. But, she holds up a hand, tucking her feet back beneath her after leaning forward to hand his wine to him and then get hers, I am going to need you to lay out this whole ordering you to break it off thing. Her expression far from amused, closer again to irked, Lucy asks, What am I missing? Why would you be ordered to break it off? Is this some Guardian thing I don't know about?"

Even if she had not openly displayed her confusion and anger, those emotions of hers hit Forcias like a brick of wall. He internally winced at those emotions, he held his breath because if there was one thing that he knew he could not do, it was actually that; to give in to his anger, to give in to those emotions that he was taught to control, to push away all the time. Even at her rhetorical question, Forcias kept looking at her silently and seriously. He wasn’t kidding at all and he knew from her show of emotions that she knew he was telling the truth.
Always the truth and nothing but the truth. . .
"I already did." Replied Forcias when she told him to accept her how she was, is, before he amended it and said "I do, Lucine, I really do." He could not help but to just look at her, sincerity emanating through his gaze when she had her hands on his cheeks which caused him as a reflex to place his own hands on top of hers before letting his hands slide to her waist and wrap his arms around her.
Her words did bring comfort in him and words from someone resonated through his mind. Not that he had ever doubted Ayla, but she was right and he had to give her credit for that even though he had doubted before. It wasn’t just Ayla, even Horsea said something in the similar vein. He also knew that if it weren’t for them both, then he wouldn’t be standing here pouring his heart out to the woman currently in his arms.
"I won’t. . ." Finally said Forcias when she told him explicitly and implicitly that she shared the same sentiments as him. He was breathing softly; it was like a ton was lifted off his shoulders. Although he knew that he was still carrying something heavy and now it had nothing to do with her. It certainly had no longer anything to do with her. Dropping his head low to at least savor this silent moment, just having her in his arms he could not help but to kiss her forehead when she looked up at him with that grin of hers.
"Stop doing that." He teasingly told her, because yes her grins, her smiles and the way she would look into his eyes like that clearly set him off on fire. But thankfully he managed to control himself because he could see and feel that they weren’t actually done talking. Forcias willingly followed her towards the couch and turned his body to face her after she had pushed him to it. "Don’t do that also." He warned her with a faint smirk because he knew for a fact that whenever she would push him, every bit of talking would end instantly. He clearly was torn into giving in his impulses or controlling them. Right now he really was trying to control them.
He sat up slightly and took the wine that she was giving him and this time he definitely took a sip of it to control his nerves at least that would allow him to be doing something. At least he was listening attentively to what she was saying. "I know, I know." Lifting his hand up and looking back at her with a faint smirk. "For the record, I am not treating you as a damsel in distress because I know you can take care of yourself." Forcias told her sincerely as he rubbed his jaw while taking a deep breath, it was more the fact of losing her that really worried, scared him, but he did not say that out loud. Everything revolved around that, him losing her.
And now the toughest of all questions, he would have to explain from beginning to end and what military crap it was causing into his own ranks. "I am not supposed to be fraternizing with you." He first replied and knew that he had to add several more reasoning to that statement. "We are from two different branches, that much I will grant you but none of us knew for how long we’d actually stay here." Leaning back against the backrest of the couch, Forcias glanced at the glass of wine in his hand and just returned it on the coffee table telekinetically. "And I am also a force user. My emotions could turn me into something destructive so the General ordered me to break it off because what I had, have with you is perceived as a liability." Looking back at her with a faint frown, he took a deep breath and closed his eyes momentarily before he rubbed the back of his neck.
"It’s causing a big poodoo fest within the others with me having to show the example to three of them standing right up against the General." Forcias sighed softly and shook his head at how selfishly he was still allowing for all of this to happen but at the same time, he couldn’t turn his back on what he was feeling, on what he wanted and he had been encouraged to pursue this by people who understood him better than most. But at the same time he owed so much to the General that he was in constant conflict.
"So there you have it." He shrugged faintly and turned his head to look at her with a faint frown. "I. . ." Forcias closed his mouth soon enough and sighed softly. "Don’t worry about it okay, sooner or later I will find a way." He finally turned his body to face her and just rested his head onto the palm of his hand to keep on looking at her.
"Welcome back, by the way, Lucine." Said softly Forcias, truly glad to know that she was back and perfectly unharmed unlike the last time where he had to heal her. "Do you have to leave soon?" He could not help but to ask thoughtfully because he knew that nothing lasted forever really and he wanted to make the most of it with her.

Back in the government building, Franz had greeted Lily back respectfully but still he kept his seriousness even though inside, he was smirking at Elika's amused tone and statement. He wouldn't deny that it amused him because to be perfectly honest, she had no rules to follow really when it came to him. He didn't know how she did it with Lucy or how Lucy really did her job but right now, it all came down to being Elika's protective detail.
Despite the ongoing buzz in the turbolift, which he partially understood, only not really he showed no signs of understanding or in this case not understanding and until they finally all stepped out of the building and into the city. Franz took a deep breath and closed his eyes momentarily before focusing his gaze back right in front of him. He remembered the name of the restaurant that Crystal had spoken about and he turned to face in that direction before detaching himself from the three women really.
Thankfully he was used to the mist and he adapted his sight to it, although that wasn't really a problem considering that he was more relying on the emotions around until at least they finally reached that restaurant, it wasn't a long walk thankfully and he got a hold of the door's handle opening it for the three of them.
"Please after you." He said with a faint nod after he had made sure that there were no impeding dangers inside or just something troubling occurring within. Franz turned to look at the person there that greeted everyone and welcomed them here and it seemed like the person at least knew Crystal and Lily for being two of the higher ups in the government. Franz closed his eyes briefly and tilted his head from side to side slowly.
He knew that Atlantis hated being in the public eye and he wondered how at least two out of the three of them reacted to that. Looking at the person meaningfully, Franz finally spoke with a friendly tone at least. "Table for four, please." At least that would let Elika know that he was going to join them, and that he actually did not mind at all because like he had thought earlier, here or there, he could still keep an eye on her and consequently all of them.
