"When I said in the hearing that I was a dormant asset of the Jedi Order up until recently, I was hiding here on my homeworld after my faction's Enclave was destroyed by what I'm pretty sure was the early stages of the First Order. I've spent the last five years working at my old stomping grounds: the Ja'raak Inn. It's the best inn on this entire planet. The owner, Tryn Andalar, is like a father to me. He's probably worried sick about me after I told him I was gonna start doing Jedi work again. The Inn itself may not be regal or glamorous, like the Royal Grand Hotel, closer to the Palace, but I think you'll like it."
"Rau Carta has always been, even on the Homeworld, a military caste. I assure you your accommodations will be more than adequate." Replied Jakk with certainty. Both Firrerreo looked slightly bothered by the fact they had to follow the human to their destination, but, it seemed it wouldn't be an overt problem. Shizune, though, seemed somewhat surprised by some of Zalor's words.
"You hid from the Order? I can't comprehend such a thing. Cowardice is punishable by immediate execution in our Clan." Said Shizune, somewhat matter of factly. Turning to the Baroness, Jakk muttered a long string of Firrerrese to the woman - who snorted in response, waving a hand at the words. Apparently she was unconcerned with others opinions.
"I do not believe Jashin will die. Call it a Jedi's intuition, but I sense great things for Jashin, although probably not as the head of Clan Rau."
"Then you underestimate our Clan's heritage." Stated Shizune once again in her flat matter of fact manner. While he will not die physically, his personality, the way he thinks, the way he talks - sometimes even how he appears physically will be altered. Years will pass for him in the sword. Experiences and memories; the most defining moments of our leaders will be shown to him. His father went into the blade a good man - he emerged tainted with the darkside. His uncle went into the blade a good man and emerged a good man, but was burdened with the weight of what he was shown forever after. Even if we returned to him immediately, Jashin is gone. He is dead."

"You hid from the Order? I can't comprehend such a thing. Cowardice is punishable by immediate execution in our Clan."
Zalor merely smiled and shrugged his shoulders at Shizune's bewilderment. "Well, there's two things that your Clan and most of the galaxy lack that the Jedi have in abundance: discretion and patience. Which...isn't to say I was right in doing so - I've learned that the hard way."
"While he will not die physically, his personality, the way he thinks, the way he talks - sometimes even how he appears physically will be altered.
Still at a loss of understanding at just how the ritual with the Rau Clan ceremonial sword worked, Zalor didn't say anything right away - aloud, at least. As he contemplated what Shizune's words meant, though, combined with his own optimism, he eventually found himself silently uttering words that he had learned back on Dantooine a long time ago... "There is no death; there is only the Force."
When the trio finally reached the doors of the Ja'raak Inn, R2-D4 was there, by himself, to greet Zalor - a sight which Zalor found especially odd. And he couldn't sense Tanara or Sinina nearby, either. "Hey, Artoo - where's Sinina and Tanara?"
[Beep-click-whistle-whistle] The astromech droid explained to Zalor that the two women had found themselves in a seedy part of the city, had gone to the Rhyatt Inn, and had taken to drinking. Not wanting to be turned into scrap metal by a random thug, Artoo had snuck away from Tanara and Sinina and had made his own way back to the Ja'raak Inn to wait for Zalor.
Zalor scowled in disgust at what Artoo had to say. "They went back to the Rhyatt? Seriously?" Zalor shook his head, then led the group back inside the Ja'raak Inn. "Well, I'm sure they can handle themselves. You did the right thing by coming back here, Artoo. C'mon - let's go see if Master Raven is still here."
Immediately upon entering the Ja'raak Inn's front lobby, Zalor spotted Vaili, the Lethan Twi'lek woman that had just assumed the title of Assistant Manager of the Inn from Zalor only days ago, at the front desk. When Zalor walked in, Vaili's eyes lit up and she almost shouted at him in surprise.
"Zalor! There you are! Finally, you're back! Oh my gosh - where have you been?! You left without saying goodbye, and you've gotten everyone here worried sick about you!"
Zalor immediately felt bad about not having given the Ja'raak Inn staff details on what he was doing, as he himself at the time didn't know much about what would happen with Jashin on Dantooine. He knew it couldn't be helped, and still he shot a sad, remorseful look at Vaili as he reached across the front desk to give her a comforting hug. "I'm sorry, Vaili. I had something urgent to take care of, and I didn't get time to contact you guys to let you know I was alright. Obviously, I'm back now."
"Well...that's good." The Twi'lek gave a sigh of relief in response.
"So - where's Master Raven? Where's Loki?"
"Loki? You mean the big, scary Zabrak? Dunno - I think he left. The Jedi Master is still here, though, with a few of her friends. They haven't left. I think they may be in the cafeteria right now, if you wanted to see them."
Zalor was relieved to hear that, at least, Master Raven was still at the Inn. He would make sure to report to her at some point. He wasn't sure why Loki was gone, however - although Loki, much like his brother Dash, was a loner, and his absence didn't surprise Zalor at all. "What about Tryn?"
"At home, with Alonae, resting. His surgery for his knee is coming up soon." Suddenly, Vaili glared angrily at Zalor, as if to scold him. "You owe Tryn an apology, Zalor. You told him you wouldn't leave without letting him give you a big sendoff."
Zalor hung his head sadly, still remorseful at his abrupt departure from Theed. "Yeah...that's my bad." Eager to change the subject, Zalor reached into his satchel, pulled out his wallet, then retrieved enough credit chips to cover two rooms for both the Firerre accompanying him. "These two fine people behind me would like rooms for the night. They're on business with me." He gently placed them on the lobby desk in front of Vaili.
The Twi'lek woman quietly slid the credits under the desk, then turned to the computer and processed data, still appearing very upset towards Zalor. In a monotone voice, she muttered... "Basic, business or suites?"
"Suites, please."
More silent typing followed, then Vaili slid open a drawer underneath the desk, then pulled out two keycards and placed them on the desk, eyeing Zalor with contempt.
Zalor could sense her frustration rising with every passing second, and eventually he couldn't stand it anymore. He knew he had to dissipate it quickly. "Vaili - I'm sorry. Truly. Forgive me?"
The Twi'lek's countenance changed, from anger to sadness. Zalor and Vaili had become such close friends that they both knew she couldn't be angry at him for long. Finally, she sighed. "Promise me you'll call Tryn tomorrow morning before you do anything else, and tell him you're back and you're alright. Then we'll be square."
Zalor nodded in agreement immediately. "Deal." Feeling instantly better about the situation, he grabbed the two keycards off the lobby desk, then turned and waved them in front of Shizune and Agent Ryder.

Taking the offered keycards, Jakk inclined his head. "We thank you. We shall be retiring immediately - the Baroness, obviously, has some...uh...thinking to do." The Baroness snorted at this, snatching a keycard out of Jakk's hand, before turning her back to the pair. Simply walking off without word of thanks, Jakk watched her go before turning back to the Jedi. Clearing his throat, Jakk eventually inclined his head to the Jedi. "The meeting will resume tomorrow at nine in the morning, local planetary time. Be prompt, or you will not be allowed to enter. We will likely be there far earlier."
Hesitating briefly, Jakk added a personal thought - something he didn't do very often. "Be wary, Zalor Anneri. Jashin may have to leave the planet, or at the very least, Theed, rapidly. Be sure you have your affairs in order before attending tomorrow."

Zalor nodded in understanding of Jakk's instructions. Based on Jakk's tone of voice, Zalor could sense that even if Jashin did survive the ceremonial sword ritual, he would no doubt make very many sworn enemies amongst the Serenno the moment he would make the inevitable decision to relinquish his claim to lead the Rau clan. That would immediately put him in Zalor's care.
Zalor softened his tone of voice as he spoke to Jakk one last time. "You'll see me at half past seven. I wouldn't miss this for the galaxy."
Zalor could sense Jakk turning to leave, and he called after him quickly... "Agent Ryder? Um...Jakk, I mean. Listen - I take back any ill will I had towards you when we first met. You are a good man, and you serve your Clan well. No matter what the other Serenno Lords might think, your actions on Dantooine were admirable and heroic. You have my utmost respect."
Zalor gave Jakk a warm smile as he folded his arms.
"Good night. And...for what it's worth - may the Force be with you."

*She watches the other being looked at her and turned away. In her haze, she didn't realize it was due to Tanara that the man left, and not her own intimidation. But with the liquid courage, she felt like she had done it on her own. She took another celebratory drink. She turned to the Lethan and thrust the bottle at her.*Vode An! Pirur! *She smiles broadly at their success. She slips an arm around the woman, taking the bottle back when the twi'lek was done with it. Taking more to drink herself. She started towards the door, almost with a stumble, but catches herself. She smiles again as she drinks. She looked at Tanara, then the nearly empty bottle. This stuff was better tasting then she'd thought. And went down easy. She jabbed a finger at the twi'lek's chest gently.*Us girls. Bevik tome. She wasn't sure what happened. The echani suddenly wasn't angry anymore. The lethan twi'lek internally sighed with relief and slowly released her collected pool of Force Power. Now she just needed to keep the dark skinned woman out of trouble until they got back to the Ja'raak Inn, which, ironically enough, was the exact opposite of her specialty. Her grandfather would've laughed, he had always deeply enjoyed irony.
She took the nearly empty bottle and swapped it out for a new bottle as they passed the bar, taking a quick swig before handing it back to Sinina. "Gar pabida ibac staabi, bevik tome."She carefully guided the echani out of the inn and pointed the two of them in the direction of the Ja'raak Inn. Hopefully nothing would happen to keep them from making it back without incident. Of course, because she had a much stronger tolerance than Sin, Tanara was still very much sober, and would likely remain so for their trip back. If something did happen, she would be able to handle it quickly.

*Later, Sin may think she was doing well for not having drank at all before in her life until a week ago, this being her second crack at it in that time. She takes another long drink, the bottle nearly emptied. Her steps not as straight as they were. She bumped into Tanara more then once along the way, the more she drank, the less words Tanara would recognize, not only because of a few slurs, but because it started to change from Mando'a, to words from the old language that Dathomir spells were written in. No she wasn't casting spells, but talking in this language and looking expectantly at Tanara as they walked along the darkened street. As they turned the last corner to the Inn, she leaned into Tanara, drapping an arm over the woman's shoulder she smiles broadly. She goes to speak, laughed, then shakes her head, and waved a hand dismissively behind them.*
Who needs em.
*She entered then into the inn, and the laughing stopped. She spotted Zalor and his new friends. She shakes her head and linked her arm through Tanara's and walked right on past, trying to be as serious and cold shoulder by him, trying very hard not to stumble or miss step. She sits heavily into a chair, and gripped her bottle tighter, finished it and sets it down heavily with a loud thud onto the table. She looked at Tanara.*
Shooold we has'nother?
*Her question containing less syllables then it should have, the young echani's eyes looked at Tanara, but didn't really see Tanara, it was like she was looking past the woman. She was still restless, her foot tapping though she didn't realize it.*

The Twi'lek shook her head and giggled at the Echani woman. She was heavily drunk with just one and a half bottles of tihaar. As tempting as it was to give her a third bottle, she knew she shouldn't. She had a feeling that the Echani would pass out midway through another drink, and didn't really want her to pass out until she had gotten her into bed where she could sleep it off. Even so, she also couldn't just leave Sinina without at least something.
"Tell you what girl, I'll get you a third bottle, but first I want you to have some water. You'll have a killer hangover in the morning if you don't."
She motioned for Sin to remain seated while she got up and went over to the bar to order a large bottle of water for the Echani. She wouldn't admit it to her, but Tanara had no intention of giving her another alcoholic drink tonight. She would keep up appearances, at least until she could get Sin tucked into bed to sleep off her drunken state.
She took the bottle of water back to the table and set it down in front of the Echani.
"Here, drink this first, then we'll see about getting you some more alcohol. I'm gonna go get you a room to sleep in tonight."
The lethan twi'lek smiled warmly at the dark skinned woman before turning and heading over to the front desk, where Zalor and Vaili were watching the two firrerreo walk way. She giggled and cleared her throat to gain their attention. She hadn't had enough tihaar to become drunk like Sin, but she was fairly tipsy.
"Heeeyyyy Vaili, heeeyyy Zalor. Sin and I need a room for tonight. Rooms. Two rooms I mean."

Once Agent Ryder left, Zalor and Vaili turned to see Sinina and Tanara basically stumble their way up to the front desk. Sinina was clearly intoxicated, Tanara a little less so. Zalor and Vaili quickly exchanged awkward glances before Vaili broke the silence as she began inputting data into the computer.
"Umm, alright. Basic, business or suites?"
Zalor eyed Sinina, in a chair near the far end of the lobby. He could still sense the fury within her towards Jashin, but now pacified by the amount of alcohol in her bloodstream. Fortunately, as Zalor turned back to face Tanara, he could see that she was in slightly better shape, although, knowing Tanara, probably in a very mischievous mood - which Zalor secretly was not looking forward to dealing with at this hour of the night.
Zalor frowned at Tanara with concern. "I trust you stayed out of trouble over there?"

Tomorrow. Who cares bout to'mrow.
*Sin waved her hand dismissively at the thought of the next day. Right now she had a drink in hand. Or no wait. It was empty. Kriff. She grumbled to herself. She eyed the drink of water she was given and starts to drink it anyways. She watched as Tanara walked off to speak to Zalor. Upon seeing that, she looked away. He was with Ryder and Jashin's supposed wife. Even if they were going to bed, she wanted nothing to do with them. And Zalor can have them.
She takes another drink stewing darkly in her corner by herself. The young echani stared at the tasteless colourless glass of water. Very boring. Now that Tihaar was good. She knew why her mother spoke highly of it. She hoped Tanara would bring back another bottle when she came.*

She waved her hand in the air, greatly exaggerating her dismissal of her friend's question. She had thought it rather obvious that she had been keeping out of trouble. "Duh! Isn't it obvious? It's quiet as a tomb out there, no law enforcement peoples or brutes with sticks." She turned to face her friend and unceremoniously placed her hands on his shoulders, shaking him gently. "How do you be so responsible all the time? Keeping out of trouble is the exact opposite of my speciality!"
The lethan Twi'lek then turned back to the front counter with a wide grin on her face. "Ooo, I do love suites! They always have the most comfy pillows and hot tubs! I love hot tubs! I've had Vince take me in hot tubs before, right hotsho..." She spun on her heel to address a non-existent person behind her before letting her sentence fade off. Vincent wasn't here, he hadn't been around for months. She slowly turned back to the Twi'lek woman behind the counter and shook her head. "On second thought, we should put Sin in the furthest room you have away from where you put the baroness."

"On second thought, we should put Sin in the furthest room you have away from where you put the baroness." Taking another glance at the intoxicated Echani woman, Zalor nodded in agreement without hesitation. "I think that would be best."
Vaili put in some more information, before opening the keycard drawer of the lobby's front desk, after which she produced two keycards and laid them on the desk in front of Tanara. "That'll be 50 credits each. Rooms 3 and 4 are on the left side of the left hallway here. Lemme know if either of you need anything. Oh, and uh - thanks for looking after Zalor."
Zalor nodded in agreement before turning back to face Tanara, his arms folded in his usual no-nonsense manner. "...and I only get into trouble when it's absolutely necessary. Being responsible is what's kept me with a job all these years. And it's what gave me respect amongst the other Shadows back at Endor." Zalor allowed himself a coy smile as he added... "I figured you would've known all that by now."

Tanara giggled some more as she attempted to pull out some credits, and ended up dropping a handful of credit chips on the floor. "Whoops." She set down the pile of credits she was still holding on the counter and bent down to pick up the ones she had dropped. She didn't remember having that many credit chips in her pocket, where had they all come from? It took her a moment to remember that she had spent a good deal of credits on the tihaar, and had received a fair amount of change in return. Had she been thinking clearly, she would've found it odd that she had, at least temporarily, forgotten that Vincent wasn't around, and that she had forgotten how much money she had been carrying around. Being tipsy, she merely tucked those thoughts in the back of her mind for later consideration. The lethan Twi'lek returned her attention to the credits she had dumped on the counter and looked for the lowest valued chips. Eventually she found one worth four hundred and slid that towards the older twi'lek woman working the front desk while putting the rest back in her pocket. She then picked up the two keys and stored them in a separate pocket. "You're welcome Vaili, I always got Zal's back. Now, I need some more alcohol, gotta catch up to Sin now that we're back here. Girl's already so drunk she can't even walk straight. Ooo, we should go back to that gun range and see if she could hit anything like this, or break into some government buildings and slice into their systems...."
She frowned at herself and then shook her head. What was she saying? She couldn't take the Echani woman back outside now, she was likely to black out from the alcohol sometime soon, and Tanara didn't want to have to try to carry her back to the inn again. She twisted to look at her friend, giving him a pleading, yet pouty face. "Zaaaaaalll help me oouuut. Being responsible is a draaaaggg." She unceremoniously grabbed her friend's arm and started to pull him toward the cafeteria area where Sin and the bar were, while giving Vaili a sort of salute. After a few steps, she released her grip on her friend and headed over to the bar to get another two bottles of tihaar and a glass of water for herself. Despite her earlier intentions, she found that she really couldn't muster the energy to be responsible anymore. She returned to the table and set down the bottles just out of Sin's reach. "Okay, as promised, I got more. But you gotta drink that water first. Trust me on this one girlfriend. Look, I even got myself some water too!" She held up her own tall glass of water and took a long drink of it.

Zalor rolled his eyes as Tanara pulled him away from the front desk. He eyed Vaili one last time. "I'll check in with you before I turn in for the night. I got a busy day tomorrow."
"Alright, Zal. Thanks for coming back - I'm glad you're alright." With that, Vaili went back to her duties as Zalor and Tanara disappeared into the Ja'raak Inn's cafeteria, followed closely by Artoo.
When Tanara finally let go of Zalor, he watched as the Twi'lek escorted Sinina to the bar. It didn't take him long to realize that they were going to continue to drink here, probably until they passed out. At least now, they were off the streets and safely at the Ja'raak. Zalor could return to his business without having to worry about them. Nonetheless, he turned to his trusty astromech droid and whispered...
"Artoo - keep an eye on them for the rest of the night. Lemme know if they pass out or get themselves into mischief."
[Beep-whistle-beep] Artoo didn't seem to mind escorting the women at all, and proceeded to roll on behind them.
Now that Zalor was alone again, he took a look around the cafeteria. It was surprisingly busy, although many of the faces in the crowd seated around the tables he recognized as the weekend locals fresh off of work. If Master Raven and her crew were still here, they'd be hiding in this sea of familiar faces, and he couldn't pinpoint any of them right away, although he could clearly sense that they were still here.
Before long, however, he spotted Tomaas at the bar, serving drinks, and he had already served Tanara and Sinina just before his eyes met Zalor's. Zalor smiled and approached the bar, and the young, bearded man smiled back.
"Well, well - look what the nexu dragged back in. You had everyone worried, boss."
"So I hear." Zalor leaned on the bar, finally beginning to settle down after dealing with Jashin and the other Firerre. "How have things been here since I've been gone?"
Tomaas shrugged his shoulders as he casually wiped down a tall drinking glass with a soft towel. "About the same. Nothing out of the ordinary - aside from Mister Andalar being on medical leave. Vaili's held down the fort fairly well, though." Tomaas gestured towards Zalor, holding out the glass to him. "Want a drink?"
"A Lake Country Chardonnay, if you don't mind." As Tomaas offered, Zalor found himself eager for a drink, as he hadn't had one since he had left the Ja'raak, and the trip to Dantooine had taken a physical and emotional toll on him. Tomaas immediately turned around, grabbed a bottle of the chardonnay from the shelf behind him and poured it into the glass he had just been wiping with the towel.
"If you don't mind me asking...where'd you run off to?"
Only Tryn, Vaili and Norme knew about Zalor's Jedi past, and Zalor was determined to keep it that way. Tomaas didn't show any signs of figuring out that Master Raven's arrival had to do with his departure, so he chose his words carefully. "I had to make a..um...quick trip out to a place in the Outer Rim, as a favor for a friend." Zalor turned and nodded in Sinina's direction. "The dark-skinned woman over there with Tanara."
"You could've at least said something to us." Tomaas gently slid the drink in front of Zalor, and Zalor immediately took a sip before responding.
"It was urgent - an emergency. I didn't have time to say much to anyone, or else I would've. You know me."
Tomaas shrugged his shoulders once more. "I guess you're right."
Eager to change the subject, Zalor turned around to scan the room for Master Raven once more. When he didn't spot her, he turned back to Tomaas with a concerned look on his face. "The...uh...Jedi Master that came in here a few days ago - she still here?"
"As far as I know, she hasn't left." Tomaas pointed to the north corner of the room. "Her and her crew have been taking up residence regularly towards the far end of the cafeteria."
This quickly put Zalor at ease. He wanted to talk to her before he went anywhere else. Zalor nodded gratefully at Tomaas as he took another drink of the sweet alcoholic beverage.

*Sin smiles as Tanara returned, as she set the bottles down, Sin had tried to grab one, but was just out of her grasp. She looked up at Tanara as she insisted upon finishing the drab water first. So boring in contrast to the flavour of the Tihaar. She wasn't long in finishing off the last of the water upon hearing that.*
Happy?
*Sin looks over the glass at Tanara and again makes a grab for the bottle setting the glass upside down on the table. She happened to look over and see Zalor every now and then glancing there way from where he talked to some other being. Maybe Jet'aii were like mother said, maybe Raven was just the exception. Judging no doubt. She went to get up, and nearly topples over the droid, managing to catch her self, using the droid as a balance point, as she sinks back into her seat, her gaze turning to a frown as she looks at the droid.*
What you doing shoort stop.

She was glad that she managed to convince the Echani to drink her glass of water. It probably wouldn't be enough to offset all of the alcohol, but every little bit helped. In response, she slid one of the two bottles to her and smiled. "As promised, here you go." She quickly drained her own glass of water and then opened the second bottle of tihaar. She was mid-drink when Sin suddenly stood up. Tanara frowned with equal parts amusement and frustration. "Tion'jor cuyir gar motir? sheber bal pirur!"
She then drew her attention to the astromech droid. Admittedly, the alcohol was affecting her awareness as she did not notice the droid roll up to them. It took her several seconds to also notice that Zalor had not sat down at their table, and in fact was standing by the bar talking to one of the employees. Tomaas, if she was remembering correctly. A host of emotions coursed through her mind. Anger, frustration, disappointment and exhaustion. With a sigh, she addressed the droid. "Artooie, Zalor asked you to keep an eye on us, didn't he? He's so disappointing me right now. I asked specifically for HIS help."

A server- who had been at the bar, tending to the... lively? Group of people quickly slipped away before something got thrown at him. He hustled over to Lavinia and Farris' table. You two are awfully quiet... thankfully. Do you need anything?
Farris looked up toward the newcomer and blinked- as if remembering he had to keep his eyes remotely solid to look real. more water would be nice. He said. It was a surprise actually. The being had done nothing but drink water sense he stumbled in, yet he asked as if it wasn't anything strange at all. He waited for Lavinia to order her own food- figuring her to be hungry. Someone of her size would have a nigh metabolism. He then looked at her with a thoughtful pose. Obviously he helped others besides Adi at the RDMC. Anything less would look suspicious. What Lavinia didn't know was how he worked his way up through the ranks. It had taken two years of exemplary practice to become the surgeon Dr Kelvin, the Sky'tri knew. More importantly, Lavinia didn't know what he was seeking forgiveness for, and neither did Adi, for that matter.
Well- I don't have anyone after me. I haven't been contacted for my services in some time. My previous client is no longer...hiring. Come to think about it- I can either feel lost, or free. Perhaps that choice is what will direct the next course my life takes.
He peered at his silvery hand for a moment deep in thought. It's a difficult choice. I've always had some sort of an objective- good or evil. I'm not quite sure how I'll handle not having one....
Did any of that make sense? He suddenly asked, remembering someone was listening to him. His never had to worry about internal musings escaping into sound when he didn't have vocal folds to worry about. It's why he so enjoyed being a puddle.

It had been a few days- and aside some shopping trips for supplies and some scanning of people and emotions- Raven Alora had asked for a single room in the inn. If the others wanted to travel back to the villa during this time, they were free to do so. She needed to be alone. She needed to mediate after what she had learned about the mark. What she had concluded was- well, she'd figure out a way to rid herself of it, and in the mean time, she'd fight off its influence. Every room had a way out and every puzzle had an answer. The count had gone off to who knows where and she wasn't really expecting him to return. For the first day or so, her thought of his disappointment in her choices weighed heavily on her mind, but through deep meditation and filling her mind with Ashla's presence, she'd finally gotten over that burden also. She still worried about Anna, but something told her the Seer was better off than she was at the moment. However, finally Alora had found some sort of balance again- such that, when Zalor caught her small brown eyes, she was sitting alone, in the back corner, sipping a mug of tea. Her hair was pulled back into its normal braid over her shoulder and she had a very passive, contemplative look on her face- having taken up the distracting hobby of reading all the emotions in the room and categorizing them.
For a moment, she seemed not to notice Zalor's gaze, but the subtle smile of the small Jedi woman's lips told him she knew he was watching, and she silently beckoned him over with a look. Alora didn't want to break her concentration, or the peace just yet, with voice. She'd come a long way from the trembling mug shattering woman who sat in the very same seat just three days prior.

Loki had left the inn silently a few hours after the encounter with the dying man, a presence one he had not felt for five years had flashed in his mental peripheral vision. He had gone in search of this. It was a confusing mess of emotions contorting his insides, a man he had molded, broken, shattered and sharpened upon his edge of darkness, was alive. How? Loki thought perceptibly. He had been searching Theed for two days, yet he felt as though he was being watched, constantly. In that time he had not slept, he had not eaten, yet he moved as though he had a full nights rest and a full stomach. He walked with purpose, his hand never swaying far from his belt, his hood pulled up, the Nabooians stared at this hulk wandering their city, a few of the royal guard had taken to following him, but these eye's Loki could feel on his back, no the watched feeling was elsewhere.
As the shadows grew long, in the shadows ahead and behind Loki above, and around A hooded figure wound his way between buildings, and through them, watching the hulking figure, he had seen him arrive, with a strange assortment of beings. Through the hood could be seen lank jet black hair, now streaked with bits of gray, more so then ever before, if Zalor or Tanara saw the man they would know him instantly though he was now scared, half robotic and a black mesh covered half his face and mouth, much like the mask of an assassin, most striking and unchanged where his ice blue eyes. He watched the Zabrak, vengeance was at hand at last, his hand squeezed a light saber hilt at his belt. It's design was old, hundreds of years, but it was new." I have you now.." The figure rasped, gone was the musical voice of the once dashing Jedi, now he rasped, for he had been destroyed by this man unlike anyone else. Broken and forged anew and turned like a new sword against his friends, but in the end they had stopped this monster. Or so thought the Jedi, but now he walked among them, With two famed masters? How? Kel'an had been living on Naboo nearly as long as Zalor had, he had kept an eye on the boy. It's what the Shadow's would have wanted, it had been hard not to make contact, but Kel knew that this day would come, what had shocked him most was Loki had left the inn and Zalor unmolested, it wasn't like this kriffing monster to let things he wanted dead live unless he had no choice...
Loki turned a corner and stopped, he closed his eyes and breathed deeply. "I know you are there." He said in a booming voice to the empty alleyway. He looked around, the being was an expert at hiding and moving, he could sense this but nothing else. "Show your self Knight of Ren, You will not take the girl." Loki said to the empty alleyway. Loki now held a saber in hand, expecting an attack at any moment.
Kel's eye's narrowed, what was he playing at? What girl? And further what the kriff was a knight of ren? Some new jedi order? It didn't sound like Loki and this group got on.. But his trap wasn't quite ready, it was time for the chase.. Kel'an took a deep breath and vaulted over the side of the building at the end of the alleyway, Loki did not seem surprised as he landed but then Kel'an clapped his hands. Loki was flung back into the main street, skidding had and nearly smashing into a passing liftcart, Loki growled as the being tore off down the alleyway.
"Coward!" Loki roared, as his long strides enhanced by the power of the force propelled him forward, the other being moved swiftly, twisting, but never disappearing out of sight. Loki followed hotly saber still in hand, "Come back and fight!" He bellowed, the being turned his hooded head back and darted down a side street out of sight. Loki slowed to a brisk walk before coming flush with the opening of the next intersection but he was gone, Loki's hood had fallen back when he had been force pushed, the presence had felt familiar but in anger Loki felt that feeling fading, leaving it up to a wish of fate. Loki cautiously walked down the new path, sniffing, he had the man's scent now, and he looked around and saw an open freight door. Loki slipped through into an apparently dark room, which was dimly visible to his cybernetic eye, suddenly the sound of slamming blast doors echoed through the sparsely furnished warehouse like room. Loki turned and looked as lights flickered into existence the entire room was empty. Not even support columns or anything just a stainless steel husk, in the corner the man in black stood, a silver handled lightsaber of strange design in hand. A hand came up and the hood fell back and Loki was taken back six years.
*****On Board the World Eater Flagship. "Biter."******
Loki was bedecked in his golden armor, a bright red cape streaming from his shoulders, next to him stood an armored being, though the armor was gray not black it was once the form of the most fearsome man in the galaxy, "You are ready." Loki said simply staring out the viewport. "Your friend's betrayed you, they left you for dead, and now you will do the same." Loki's somber voice said with conviction, the armored man nodded, and removed his helmet. "Yes my lord, it is time." Kel'an Skywalker's face was unscarred, unmarred from the coming battle's this was his darkest moments, darker still than when he had been crash landed on the Sith world Korriban. He had fallen, and fallen in the footsteps of his ancestor. It was maddening to think he had once traveled so exclusively in the light, the dark held such power, and wonders....
****Present****
Kel'an began to pace outward his eye's never wavering from the hulking figure before him. "Monster...Scum.." He muttered at the giant Zabrak. "My revenge is at hand, at last you will pay for the crimes you committed! " Loki inwardly sighed, so it was the brat, his brother's legacy, the apt pupil. If any man had a right to Kill Loki it was the one before him. If Loki had harmed the other shadows or his brother, it was but a fleck of dirt in the eye compared to what he had done to Kel'an, for Loki had killed his wife, his children, though nobody knew these things but Loki, they had just "Disappeared." faded away one by one. Then Loki had twisted Kel'an, broken him and turned him into a fine edged weapon, only to be betrayed at the last moment's, Loki's lowest. "Things have changed.." Loki whispered not moving.
"Liar!" Kel'an spat his rasp of a voice a contrast to Loki's somber and convivial tone. "You're a coward, a monster, and you deserve to die, nothing has changed.." Kel was getting closer, his empty hand flexing, his beautiful eye's were surrounded by the black mesh and scar tissue. Courtesy of the saber Loki wore at his belt, and the lightning that could spring from his hands. "You are playing some strange game! It won't be long before you betray those you travel with! But I will not give you the chance!" Loki took a step back, giving Kel'an pause. "Please, let me explain..." Kel'an shook his head. "I have waited for this moment, I knew you weren't dead, when I recovered in secret I returned to your ship to find your corpse but it was gone. I knew this day would come, I will avenge my master...." Loki shook his head, Kel'an's bright blue saber sprang to life. "Dash wouldn't have wanted it this way!" Loki said taking another step back saber in hand. "Don't...SPEAK HIS NAME!!!!" the last word came as a force scream, Kel'an was flux with light and darkside energy imbalanced his way of life and his tutelage under Loki contrasting, Loki covered his ears at the sound and growled in his chest.
"You murdered him! You shall never speak his name!" With that Kel'an charged, and Loki's saber sprang to life just narrowly catching Kel's blade in a defensive position. "Listen to me, I have found my path to redemption, I am not the same person!" Loki said pushing Kel's blade back with his own. "Lies lies lies!" Kel'an bellowed and lashed out with an arch of force lightning. Loki flitted back, twisting the lightning away with his blade only to have parry a slash aimed for his midsection, Loki stuck a hand out and blasted Kel'an back with a pulse of the force. "Listen to me!" Loki roared, Kel'an shook his head and rushed in again, it went on like this for a few more strokes. "FIGHT BACK YOU COWARD!!" Kel'an roared at Loki. Loki merely shook his head no and kept his defensive posture. "I will not." Loki said simply. His red blade unwavering before him. "There are things you cannot yet comprehend.." Loki said quietly. "This is rich..." Kel'an said stalking back and forth a few meters in front of Loki. "The great and terrible Sith Lord Loki, the bane of world's the mighty Zabrak warrior, one of the most feared being's in the galaxy, is a coward, a weakling.." Kel'an said using Dun Moch to try and goad Loki, Loki merely shook his head exasperatedly, he knew that before long the others would feel the flashes of the force, and zero in on them. "Child, I'm a Sith you expect to use Dun Moch against me?" Loki said shaking his head no as Kel'an charged once more...

*Lavi looked up at the server.*
I try not to draw too much attention..
*She said that, but there were many times where just walking into a place covered in green feahters drew attention.. She looks back at Farris, her soft smile still on her face, she kept her hand ontop of his trying to be as comforting as possible.*
I get it. Not every choice is simple as turn left or right. Whatever you choose, remember that you don't have to face it alone. You do have a friend in me.
*She watches him, hoping that she helped. She didn't like seeing him so lost. She admired the determined looks he would get when she'd watched him from observation windows at the RDMC, doing everything he could to save a patient.*

*Sin smiles as Tanara returned, as she set the bottles down, Sin had tried to grab one, but was just out of her grasp. She looked up at Tanara as she insisted upon finishing the drab water first. So boring in contrast to the flavour of the Tihaar. She wasn't long in finishing off the last of the water upon hearing that.*Happy? *Sin looks over the glass at Tanara and again makes a grab for the bottle setting the glass upside down on the table. She happened to look over and see Zalor every now and then glancing there way from where he talked to some other being. Maybe Jet'aii were like mother said, maybe Raven was just the exception. Judging no doubt. She went to get up, and nearly topples over the droid, managing to catch her self, using the droid as a balance point, as she sinks back into her seat, her gaze turning to a frown as she looks at the droid.*What you doing shoort stop. "Tion'jor cuyir gar motir? sheber bal pirur!"She then drew her attention to the astromech droid. I asked specifically for HIS help." Artoo quickly spun his dome around to face Sinina, and he sputtered a short burst of beeps and clicks that would've sounded to Tanara as if he was subtly sassing her, the same way he would with Vincent. [Beep-snort-click]
[Beep-click-whistle] Artoo then turned back to Tanara and, much more politely, explained that he was all to happy to spend time with Tanara, and didn't need Zalor's commanding him to do so, and that he was also confused with what she needed help with.
[Whistle-snort] The droid, who had clearly become annoyed by Sinina's antics, was quick to add that it was she who needed 'help'.
Back at the bar in the Ja'raak Inn's cafeteria, Zalor had fallen quiet as he took another swig of the sweet Neubian beverage, a favorite of his. Tomaas shifted his gaze from Zalor's to the Jedi Master in the back, who was now staring at them. He shot an uneasy glance back at her, then turned back to his former boss, seemingly a bit unnerved by her sudden interest in them.
"Uh...boss - if you don't mind me asking...what's she doing here? The Jedi Master, I mean. I saw you and Tryn talking with her and that huge Zabrak a few days ago before you left. What does she want with you?"
Zalor could see the sudden concern in Tomaas' face, and he put down his glass on the counter in front of him. He leaned forward, his arms folded, seeming not the least bit worried about anything, and tried his best to console his former co-worker, but without giving away the true nature of their connection, in his own subtle way. He realized he would have to stretch the truth a bit to do so, but he felt it of the utmost importance not to let any other Ja'raak Inn staff know who he really was. "Master Raven Alora - from the Jedi Conclave on Felucia, was a friend of my grandfather's, before he died. She was originally just here to check on me and reestablish contact with me, but..." He paused as he could start to sense Raven's gaze shift to Zalor himself. "...I think she might need my help with something."
Tomaas, whom Zalor always knew was a lot smarter than he looked, wasn't buying Zalor's story, and he frowned. "Why? What would she need your help for? I mean, I know your grandfather was...a Jedi, but...you're just an average Han from Theed."
Zalor chose to continue playing to Tomaas's bewilderment, despite sensing that Tomaas was clearly beginning to do the math in his head. He shrugged his shoulders and took another drink. "Not sure, Tomaas."
"Well, maybe now might be a good time to find out." Tomaas nodded in Raven's direction. "She's been staring at you for the past two minutes. Might wanna go talk to her. I can imagine it's not very polite to keep a Jedi Master waiting."
Zalor grinned in amusement, letting out a small chuckle as he finished his beverage and set the empty glass back in front of Tomaas. "If you insist." He got up to leave, but not before setting a few credit chips on the table in front of his co-worker along with the glass. "I might need another one after I'm done." He retorted as he got up to leave.
It didn't take long for Zalor to quietly weave his way through the crowded cafeteria towards Raven, ignoring Artoo, Tanara and Sinina as he did so. He had a lot on his mind, and he needed Raven's ear. He was still within fifteen feet of her when he spoke his greetings. "I kept your friend safe, like I promised. Sinina seems to have a strong will of her own, and a very exotic skill set - one I've only heard about. You've certainly been keeping some unusual company lately, Master Raven. A former Sith warrior, a Nightsister, an exiled heir to the Arkanian throne - and now you've come to track down a former Jedi Shadow." Zalor sat down at the table across from the small but powerful Jedi Master. He wanted to get right down to business. "Thanks to Sinina, though, I understand why you need such powerful and unconventional allies. We are fighting a powerful and unconventional foe. I went to Dantooine. I saw them. The First Order." Zalor let his emotional guard down and allowed Raven to read the seriousness and solemnity in his face. He wanted her to know that he understood what was at stake now.
