"Surprise!"
Everyone that stood below the banner, employees, old friends, shouted in unison as Zalor came through the door way. After this, they all cheered and applauded the guest of honor. Artoo, at the very center of it all, wheeled around beeping and whistling loudly, determined to be the most excited.
Zalor was stunned. He dropped his satchel on the ground. It was his 27th birthday? He had forgotten about it. In the midst of all the chaos that had happened today, his birthday was the last thing on his mind. The past two had gone by without incident. Now, with Tanara and Artoo back, they had somehow pulled some strings and put together a surprise birthday party, right under his nose. It blew him away.
However, as he looked about the room, he became all the more stunned. Tanara and the crew had transformed the Ja'raak Inn's lounge area into - Endor? There were trees, Ewok torches, fake Ewok huts and similar trappings everywhere. EVERYWHERE. It was just like back at the Bright Tree Village. All that was missing were the Ewoks.
Instead of Ewoks however, were a large group of people, some of which Zalor hadn't seen in years! How did they all get here so quick, Zalor thought? There was, of course, the Ja'raak Inn crew: Vaili, Norme, Tomaas - the scruffy, bearded, thirty-five year old handyman-turned-hospitality management student, and Ungav - a go-getting Duros immigrant with an amazing work ethic. There was also Tryn, who was grinning ear to ear with his arm around his wife, Alonae. Zalor hadn't expected to see either of them there, given the circumstances with Tryn's knee. They must've just gotten back from Theed Medical, Zalor thought. Although, he was even more surprised to see Tryn's brother, Zulis, standing next to him. Zulis, normally in his mechanic's clothes and covered in grease from working on swoop bikes, managed to clean up and was wearing Theed fashion just for the occasion. What stunned him most was the two people standing far off to the left:
One was Jedi Master Angel Tirahil, who was a Jedi watchman and healer who lived in Theed. He had crossed path with her only a handful of times in the past five years, but he hadn't expected her, of all people, to show up at the party. She was dressed in her pastel blue Jedi robes and looking just as pretty as ever.
Next to her, however, was someone Zalor hadn't seen at all since his return to Naboo - Nussan Gallo, the Gungan hunter!
As soon as the surprise was over and everyone started cheering, Nussan - who was still dressed in his swamp hunting attire, bounded up to Zalor and gave him a big hug. "Meesa Zalor! It's-a so good to see yousa again!"
"Whoa! Wh-wh-wow!" It wasn't until Nussan came up and hugged Zalor that Zalor came to life and finally responded. Before greeting his old Gungan friend, Zalor wheeled back around to face Tanara with an astonished look on his face.
"Y-y-you put together all this? For me? By yourself? In the short time you've been here?"
"Oh, don't give her all the credit, son." Tryn gave a hearty chuckle from the crowd of people by the front desk. The old man nodded to Vaili, standing in between him and Angel. "Vaili and I were already planning on doin' something for your birthday today, Zal. Tanara just took it to a whole 'nother level, that's all. Vaili did most of the legwork while you two were out and about."
[Beep-click-whistle-whistle] Artoo spun up to Zalor and whistled as if to say 'I helped too!'

The Twi'lek girl suddenly seemed bashful and shy as her friend turned to her with astonishment. She gently placed her left hand on her upper right arm, keeping her right arm by her side. All she had wanted to do was do something special for her friend, and she had been delighted to combine her effort with the efforts of Tryn, Vaili and the others. "I just wanted to make this party special." Having had her friend all to herself for the last couple hours, she was more than happy to let her friend be surrounded by all the other people who were there. She gave her friend a gentle hug, then went off to go grab some food and drinks. She intended to enjoy every second of this party.

For the first time in what was probably months, a tear of joy reached Zalor's cheek, and he brushed it off, trying not to appear overly emotional. He smiled at everyone, at everything that was going on. Without turning back to face Tanara, ashamed of the fact that he was doing everything he could not to break down in tears, he replied... "You did, Tanara. You did. You...and Vaili...and all of you..." Zalor stopped midsentence, unable to continue - overjoyed and overwhelmed.
"Happy Birthday, Zalor." Vaili walked up to Zalor and gave her boss a big hug. She and Zalor had been friends for a long time, so no one objected to this.
"Happy Birthday, boss." "Happy Birthday, Zal!" "Happy Birthday, boss!" "Happy day to yousa, Meesa Zalor!" Everyone else chimed in and began applauding once more.
"Alright, alright..." Tryn tried to break the mood before Zalor broke down in tears. "Enough with the mushy stuff - give the poor boy a break. We got food and drinks over in the cafeteria. Enjoy yourselves!"
"I got the front counter, Tryn." The bearded Tomaas assumed his position in Zalor's usual spot at the lobby's front desk. With his arm still around his wife, Tryn turned around and pointed at Tomaas with a grin. "Thanks, Tomaas - you the man! And don't worry - we'll have someone deliver you some grub."
Although Zalor wanted to mingle with the other employees, Angel and especially Nussan, who he hadn't seen in years, the far table labeled 'VIP section' caught his eye. It had been roped off, but the objects on the table looked familiar. He got close enough to see what they were, and was surprised and confused when he saw his holopictures of Sayra, Evan and Asha, with an object to go with each of them. It didn't take long for him to agree that the Gallo Mountain flower, bottle of Tarisian Ale, and hydrospanner were perfect to fit each one of them. It didn't take Zalor long for him to understand the purpose of all this: Tanara wanted all of his close friends to be there, even if they were only there with him in the Force and not in person like they would've wished for.
"Ah, geez, Tanara..." Zalor smiled at the VIP table as he scratched the back of his neck, still a bit emotional. "...you really went the extra hyperspace route for this, didn't you?"
Zalor then slowly turned to face Tanara as a realization came to him... "Where did these holopics come from, by the way?"
Zalor suddenly gave Tanara a playfully scolding frown as another realization hit him. "...you didn't."

She reached the tables in the cafeteria, picked up a plate and began loading it up with some food. It had been a while since she last ate, so she was rather hungry. She noticed that her friend had spotted the VIP table and was looking at the items she had set there. A mischievous grin slowly formed on her face as her friend questioned her on where she had gotten the holo-pictures from. "I may have borrowed them from your bedside table. It wasn't that hard to break into your apartment. Honestly, I thought you would've learned something from Asha and I about having decent security measures." She teased him about his standard security system, but she knew him well enough to know that he just wasn't as technical as her or her little sister. He was a simple farmboy at heart. "Nevermind that though, we have a party to enjoy!" She gently placed her hand on his back and nudged him toward the other tables, so that he could get some food and socialize with all the party attendees. She then waved her hand toward one of the taller trees in the cafeteria, and various styles and colours of lights suddenly appeared from trees all over, as loud party music suddenly started playing from hidden speakers. The whole scene was a mix between forest sanctuary and techno nightclub.

Zalor shook his head and chuckled when he saw the lights and heard the music started playing. Tanara had pulled out all the stops. Even if it meant sneaking into Zalor's personal affects.
Zalor was about to tell Tanara that she could've asked if she could borrow Zalor's holopics - (Zalor would've gladly let her), but he was stopped when he spotted Alonae approach Zalor and Tanara and put her arm around each one of them. He knew after that happened he wouldn't get a word in edgewise to Tanara until she and Tryn's wife caught up. Alonae was a real talker, even more so than Tryn, and he knew once Tanara and Alonae started talking, he would struggle to be a part of the conversation. He was alright with it, though, and he let Alonae carry them away to the buffet table as they started talking.
The rest of the night flew by for Zalor. Even though Zalor didn't frequent parties, this one was just for him, and the guests were some of his favorite people that he had grown to know and love in his five years at Naboo, as well as many old, familiar faces that he was grateful could be there. Nussan Gallo, the Gungan Hunter, had reestablished a loving relationship with his brother and sisters in Otah Gunga, for which the Gungan was grateful for after what had happened with him, Zalor, Artoo, Strider and Irisis in Otah Gunga all those years ago.
Angel, the Jedi healer, was - to Zalor's surprise - a frequent in the Queen of Naboo's court, and had recently become a Jedi liaison for the Royal Palace's medical team. She often got to rub shoulders with not only the Queen herself, but her family, as well as Naboo Senators, province governors and their families as well. Zalor's time spent talking to her left him in awe of the people Angel got to serve and meet on a regular basis. After Zalor had told her about his Jedi background, though, Angel insisted that she get his comlink codes so that she could call on him in case she needed another Jedi on hand, a task for which Zalor promptly agreed to be avaliable for should the need arise.
Business on Tatooine continued to be good for Zulis, and his swoop mechanic's garage continued to expand. Zulis reported that he had taken on a handful of journeyman mechanics to work for him, all of them surprisingly loyal and reputable - which meant Zulis would eventually be able to leave his business to one of them when the time for him to retire came. Both Zalor and Tanara, however, were both much more interested in hearing about Meena and Strider. Zulis was able to report that Meena, Strider and A'zara were all still operating on Tatooine and doing fine, although he couldn't give any specifics as to what the trio had been up to since Tanara left their company, claiming it 'wasn't really his business.'
Tryn was able to confirm Vaili's report that he did, in fact, allow Alonae to talk him into finally getting his left leg replaced with a prosthetic, right up to the lower thigh above his knee - which would completely eliminate his mobility issue, after some extensive therapy. One of Tryn and Alonae's well-to-do nephews, who also lived in the wealthy district of Theed, agreed to help cover the costs of the procedure. This would mean that Tryn could hold off his retirement from the Ja'raak Inn a little longer, for which Zalor was extremely relieved. This meant he and Tanara could pursue Adiemus Matango's quest with a clear conscience. Zalor decided to break the news to Tryn and Alonae about the Jedi's mission and that he would be leaving temporarily. Tryn took it the hardest, but he accepted that Zalor needed to do the right thing, and if going with Adiemus was the right thing, then Zalor's ownership of the Inn could wait.
After they had finished the discussion, Zalor decided to announce it to the rest of the crew. He had Tanara stop the music momentarily, then stood up at his table so that all could see him...
"Everyone?! Everyone - hold up. I have an important announcement to make..."
He waited until everyone was quiet and had their attention focused on him before he continued...
"I want to thank you all for coming tonight. You each have made this night very special for me, and I appreciate you taking time out of your schedules to come here. The fact that I have such loving friends and co-workers here makes what I'm about to say difficult, but it needs to be said." Zalor turned to Tanara and took a deep breath before he continued... "The past five years, since I've been back home to Naboo, have been some of the best years of my life. It has been an honor and a privilege to be the assistant manager here at the Ja'raak Inn, and to be your boss, and to get to know you people. I have Tryn to thank for that honor and privilege. However - something from my past, something of which a handful of you know, has come back to haunt me recently...and...I have to take care of it. Unfortunately, this means that I will have to leave you, for a short while. Tryn and I have talked, and we have decided - that tonight will be the last night that I will hold the position of Assistant Manager here. I am leaving Naboo."
Many of the employees gave small, yet disappointed sighs in response, and many of them began talking to one another about it.
"I am sorry that I have to leave you so soon, but the circumstances demand that I take a leave of absence from the Ja'raak Inn. Hopefully, it will only be for a short while. In the meantime, Vaili Sallaar will be assuming the position of Assistant Manager in my stead. She's been a wonderful co-worker, and has done amazing work, and she deserves the promotion many times over. Give her a hand, guys!"
Everyone cheered as Vaili nodded with a flushed face and a big grin.
"It has been a wonderful time tonight, and a wonderful five years that I've gotten to spend with you all. I hope that you all will continue to serve Tryn and Vaili the way you've served me. I'm not sure when I'll be back from my travels, but I do hope to come back here soon. I'm gonna miss each and every one of you, and I'll think about you often." With that final message, Zalor picked up his glass of wine and raised a toast... "To the best bed-and-breakfast in all of Naboo - to the Ja'raak Inn!"
A hearty response was given from everyone in the room as they returned the toast, as if accepting Zalor's resignation and sending him on his way.

She had been deeply enjoying the party, and catching up with old friends, and making new friends. Eventually though, her friend asked her to stop the music and normalize the lights so that he could make a speech. She was curious enough to hear it that she did as he requested without complaint. She, along with everyone else, listened intently to what he had to say until he finally ended with a toast. She joined the others and raised her mug of Kopi tea, then took a swift drink before setting the mug back down on the table. Noting that his speech was over, she resumed the music and light show, signaling a return the party.
"Nice Speech Zal. By the way, once I'm done my tea, we're doing shots, so be ready."
She had been holding off alcohol so far because she wanted to have a mug of her favourite non-alcoholic beverage, Kopi tea. It was a drink that she had first discovered a long time ago with her sister, and she could very rarely ever get a decent cup of it. Once it had been consumed though, she would start on the alcohol, and she planned on getting smashed, and getting a decent amount of time on the dance floor. She wanted to let loose and have fun!

The ride had been long with the pair taking public transit shuttles, though Jashin had kept busy. The parts he had needed had been ordered, and nearly all the credits he had amassed had been used up with the exception of a scant thousand. But, in the end, it was all worth it - the Sable would fly again, if he had anything to say about it. Throughout the ride, Sinina had been quiet, and Jashin got the distinct impression she was mad at him. But, then again, when were female sentients NOT mad at him? No doubt she'd let him have it, eventually. Right now they were riding the last shuttle to their destination - her former Guardian's residence, so she could pick up her things. After that, they'd no doubt rendezvous with the others either at the villa or in the city. Jashin gave an uneasy glance to Sinina, taking in her flinty gaze. Then again, maybe he would drop Sinina off with the others, and would head back to the villa by himself. He had the distinct impression there next conversation would be doubly unpleasant. Probably.
"...So you're pissed." Jashin said flatly, breaking the silence.

*Sin sighs deeply as she looks at him. She had sat and stewed for quite a while. She turned towards him to look at him directly.*
Pissed? You. And your speech about how great your race is. About how they can't do this or won't do that. How they are so xenophobic. I never even asked anything of you.
*She stood up from her seat. Took a few steps away. She stopped and turned to look back at him, her eyes seemed different, like fire resided within them. Her entire body poised, tense, almost to the point of shaking.*
If you had no interest in changing that, you wouldn't stare at me as you do. I doubt you would seek me out and take me with you into Theed. Be as superior as you want to be. Half a chance, you may just find that I'm not so far beneath you as you think.
*She had walked back up to where he'd sat, leaning forwards in close to him, bent over at the hip to get in close to where he sat. She stared at him for a moment, then without warning moved in the rest of the way to kiss his lips, assertively, in a dominant style. Then she would stop, turn away again and walk for the doors of the landing shuttle, unless of course he stopped her from doing so, and speak over her shoulder in an authoritative voice.*
Well. Come along.

Be as superior as you want to be. Half a chance, you may just find that I'm not so far beneath you as you think." Jashin stayed silent, his arms crossed, not denying any of her words. Somewhat amused, he watched her shake; she must be angry indeed, for an Echani, to be so physically moved. Idly, he wondered if he could, perhaps, make her shake due to entirely different reasons. But he shook his head, putting that thought out of his mind. It was during that head shake that she caught him by surprise - her lips finding his as she leaned forward. Warm, soft, and far too brief. The kiss was over as soon as it began. She began to pull away, but Jashin growled, his hand coming up to cradle her head - and he kissed her, only stopping once he was satisfied. Ignoring the curious stares of the few other sentients on the shuttle - a few non-humanoids simply trying to figure out what they were even doing, and an elderly human couple giving each other knowing looks - Jashin snorted as she pulled away and practically stomped to the shuttle's doors as it began its descent to land. "Well. Come along." With a snort, Jashin stood and walked up behind her, resting both of his hands on her shoulders. "I don't know if this will work. Dunno if it should. But I do know that I have to try and see if it will work. So, I make no promises, and I give you plenty of warnings. But...fine. Have it your way." Jashin squeezed her shoulders, briefly, before letting go. "Oh, and one more thing...I don't want the rest of the crew to know about...all of this. This is a private matter, regardless of whatever it turns into."

At the Ja'raak Inn
As Zalor sat back down, he shot a confused look at Tanara...
"Be ready? Ready for what?"
As he asked this very question, he wasn't aware that both Vaili and Norme had joined their table. Norme laughed and gently grabbed Zalor by the arm, attempting to lift him out of his chair as all three girls got up. "Ready for the fun stuff, of course! Vaili and I have been dying to break out the Corellian brandy. C'mon, let's go open up the bar!"
"Uh, okay." Zalor didn't object to the notion, but he had always been little more than a casual drinker, whereas he knew that Tanara, Vaili and Norme were, all three, capable of holding liquor far better than he. He grudgingly decided to help them open up the bar, so that the 'real' party could begin.
All in all, it was worth it after all the trouble. After everyone, including Zalor, had something to drink, everyone began to loosen up. Ultimately, Zalor's last night as the Assistant Manager at the Ja'raak Inn had been a success.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
The Next Morning
The sun had already risen, and most of Theed was already busy. The night crew had helped Tryn and the others clean up after the party, and by the time Tryn and Zalor had already gotten up, there was no sign that they had had a birthday party at the Ja'raak Inn. For the most part, everything was back to normal.
Zalor took Artoo, Nussan and Norme back to his apartment for only an hour, long enough to take A5 back to Kilo to have him serviced, and to lock up his apartment for a long-term absence. Zalor knew he'd be back to Naboo, and he would need his apartment as a safe house in case anything went wrong on his travels, but it would be awhile before he would need it again. It was a bittersweet moment when he turned in his spare keycard to the complex office.
An hour later and Zalor had returned to the Ja'raak Inn.
The Ja'raak Inn's lobby was quiet and mostly vacant for most of the early morning. Vaili held the front desk, while Nussan Gallo, the Gungan, talked to Angel, the Jedi healer - both of them sitting on a bench along the wall over by the front desk.
Just outside the lobby, in the courtyard, Zalor and Tryn could be heard having a heated discussion. Tryn sounded upset, and Zalor's voice also seemed to sound somewhat distressed in response.

*Sin had started to pull away and he had put his hand behind her head and pulled her in for a second kiss, longer, she had closed her eyes during it, and lost herself in the moment of it, was that a purr that she heard rise from her? When he finally let go and she stood up, she stared at him a moment before actually turning away in a vain attempt to hide her flushed cheeks.
Then it was a surprise for her when as she'd walked away he came up behind her, put his hands on her shoulders, stopping her in place. She turned her head up to look back at him standing behind her. His hands giving them a squeeze, she didn't find it painful or anything, his hands on her bared shoulders did somehow relax the tension she'd built up in her body. She kept looking back at him.*
None of us knows if things work out unless they give it a chance. *She bit her lip softly.* Well.. except maybe our seer Anna... Of course. Private. Have it your way... /Pirate/
*She gives him a smile, showing that she was only saying it in jest, not an insult as she had on their first meeting. She sighs softly again, thinking about her Guardians and how eager she was to get some things she'd not had a chance to before leaving Naboo. She looked out the window.*
I don't think I've ever felt this eager to change out of a dress before..

Theed, Public Transit Platform
Jashin eyed Sinina at the mention of "pirate", but her smile put him at ease. Inwardly, though, he wondered how his carefree criminal life would affect...whatever this was. He pushed the thoughts aside. He - they - would cross that bridge when they came to it. The shuttle lurched then, and Jashin reached upward to grab one of the transit shuttle's handholds, the repulsorcraft swooping down to the ground to land at one of Theed's public transit platforms. "I don't think I've ever felt this eager to change out of a dress before.." Jashin, eyeing Sinina in her dress, with her hair in its elaborate style and the slight flush to her dark skin, just shook his head. "I'm not sure I've been so eager to help someone out of a dress before." He said, deadpan and monotone. Changing the subject quickly, he continued forward without missing a beat. "Tell me of these Guardians. I do not have a parallel to them in my culture." This was a small lie, but Jashin was indeed very curious as to where they were going.
The shuttle meanwhile, had landed, it's doors opening to admit sentients to the small platform. A small archway directly ahead admitted them to one of the streets of Theed proper. Jashin, gesturing for Sinina to take the lead, hung back, nervously readjusting his jacket so that his weapons were a little less visible. It's not like he had a permit for the things or anything, and the last thing he wanted was to catch the eye of some Volunteer Security Officer.

Theed, Public Transit Platform.
*Sin stumbled a slightly as the lurch hit, she had grabbed for him instead of the handles above. She steadied herself and then let go. She smiles again, which quickly turned to an embarassed blush at his comment about helping remove her dress. She shakes her head slightly and starts for the doors as they opened. She stopped and turned to look back at him again, tapping her lips thoughtfully. She adjusted her dress again to the longer look, hiding her sabers and other things her hidden belt carried. The dress now sitting at a length below her knees again, She walks on, urging him to follow, her motions shifting back towards a more regal poise, strict and practiced, as she speaks her voice taking on a more regal tone as apposed to how she'd spoken at the spaceport.*
When I was young, Mother became the Matriarch of the Nightsisters. Numbers were low. She felt that with the amount of turmoil in the galaxy that she needed the sphere of influence of the Sisters needed expanding, so she sent off her children, me to Naboo, my twin brother to Ordo. Te'oma was kept at Dathomir to complete her training there, then she was to meet Phantom Armageddon. The family on Naboo I was sent to was close to the Royal Family that rules Naboo.
*Sin talks more about things that she'd been taught, how to act, how to talk, the diplomacy seminars she'd had to sit through. diplomacy talks. She may have droned on, even she sounded bored of it. She walked down this street and that. She sighed deeply, as she stopped infront of a large house.*
Just try not to curse in front of them..
*She walks up to the gate, pressed a button, after a brief delay a tone beeps and the gate swung open for them. She walks through it, again gesturing for Jashin to follow. She walks up the path to the house, and before they even got to the door, it swung open, a slender woman stepped through it, and walks to Sinina with her arms spread wide. Sin walks into the woman who wrapped her arms in a warm embrace. Sin looks back at Jashin when she was released.*
Jash, this is Ellara Vancil. Wife of Horgra Vancil. A member of the Royal Advisory Council.
Ellara nods her head respectfully and motioned them inside, which Sin quickly followed behind.*
"Sinina, darling, you were gone so long. We worried about you."
I'm sorry, Elarra. I bumped into one of my Mothers friends.. and got so swept up in the heat of their adventure. I forgot to send word to you.. I just came to grab a few things. They want my help again.
"It's fine. You are all grown up now, we expected you wanted to venture on your own. We only wished for you to let us know you were leaving."
Of course, Thank you for being understanding.
*Sin smiles as she exchanged a few more pleasentries before she turned to walk down the hall to where she had always stayed growing up. She motions Jashin to follow her again, the last thing she wanted to do was leave him alone with Ellara, more for his sake then for hers. Not that she was anything but kind, but she imagined him to not enjoy her company. She waited for him to enter the room and closed the door quickly.*

Theed, House of Ellara
They walked the streets of Theed, and Jashin was mildly disappointed as Sinina readjusted her dress to hide her sabers. This was probably wise, though. After all, if his blaster and sword drew attention, her sabers would probably whip the whole city into a frenzy. As they walked, Sinina talked, and Jashin listened attentively. Much of it he was familiar with, as far as being raised with poise and bearing. Some of it, though, as far as being taught diplomacy, was new to him. Inwardly he had to wonder how different his life would have been if he had stayed on Serenno and assumed the duties put on him by his family. Would he have turned into someone like Sinina? He honestly couldn't imagine himself speaking properly and assuming proper etiquette. Would he long for adventure as Sinina did? As they came to a stop in front of a large house, Jashin eyed it skeptically. Her Guardians were certainly wealthy - the whole affair reminded him of many homesteads on Serenno.
"Just try not to curse in front of them.."
Jashin muttered something under his breath, unintelligible to all but him, but otherwise simply nodded. Passing through the gates of the home, drawing near to the door, Jashin ran a hand through his hair and readjusted his weapons once more. Why was he nervous? He'd been in the presence of far more important individuals. Hell, he'd stolen from richer, and killed those more powerful. So why was he sweating like a Tarisian boar? Heading up the path, they had not even reached the door when a slender Naboo woman flung open the door and caught Sinina in an embrace.
"Jash, this is Ellara Vancil. Wife of Horgra Vancil. A member of the Royal Advisory Council."
"I am pleased to make your acquaintance. I am Jashin Del Deveaux De Cassini Sorreaux of Serenno. Thank you for welcoming me into your home." Said Jashin formally, bowing (albeit awkwardly) in the Serennoan fashion. He didn't know why, spur of the moment, he had chosen to introduce himself via family line and House. Perhaps he was nervous by the thought of her Guardian examining why a ruffian was hanging around her charge. Or the worthiness of said ruffian parentage and blood wise. Surely she'd laugh in his face. He hardly looked the part of belonging to a Great House of Serenno. Besides an odd look, though, Jashin was more or less ignored, much to his relief.
The two exchanged words, Jashin quietly listening, trying for all he was worth to straighten his posture and to look, well, like he wasn't born yesterday in a pigsty. After a short conversation, Sinina motioned for him to follow, and Jashin followed her down the short hall to a room which she ushered him into before closing the door quickly. Jashin, his posture immediately slumping, readjusting his jacket so his weapons were a little more accessible, smiled and jerked a thumb over his shoulder at the door and Ellara in general. "So...don't take a lot of guests home to meet the guardians?"

Speeder parking deck
Farris admired the city of Theed- like he did every time he came here, while Loki parked the speeder. This was it- the place he would branch off elsewhere and leave these people behind before he managed to do something terrible to them. Yet, as his eyes scanned the area before he slowly got out of the speeder and offered a arm to Dominic, should he need something stable to hold onto- the Polydroxol's eyes landed on the back of Adieumus' head. While Anna had forgiven him, Farri's crime against the Arkanian were far worse- and while he had saved Adieumus' life back on Honogor, the former jedi did not know it was him. Perhaps he should stay, just to ask for forgiveness from Adieumus- or, perhaps he should leave before something happened and he further damaged Matango's shaky trust in him even further. The choice was a difficult one.
With a heavy sigh, he looked at Dominic and frowned. Do you need any help getting to where you need to go? His voice was concerned for the man- but while his gaze settled on Dominic, his mind was mulling over options of where to go, or....even, if to go. He had promised to get Thea home- and if he left, he'd never get that chance. But she lived on this planet. Someone from this largely benevolent crew would do it for him, and Farris was no stranger to breaking promises. But promises he actually intended to keep were very rare- and he had given one to Thea. If he broke his word to her, he'd be exactly what she thought of him- a liar. But- wasn't she right? At least she should believe the truth about him, because a liar was exactly what the Shape shifter often was.

Not even many friends while growing up... Even fewer met my Mother.. if anything made someone nervous i would think that would..
*Sin was surprised at the use of so many titles and such by Jashin, she knew he had issues with his Father, she didn't realize he also belonged to so many titles in proper. She looks over her shoulder at him as she walks deeper into the large room. She had all the space she could have needed growing up here. She bites her lip softly as she opened a few drawers and found exactly what she wanted.*
So, first a change out of this dress. Then grab a few things.
*She started to undo her dress, as she walks behind a privacy barrier. The dress falling to the floor. She grabbed the garment she picked out, sliding into it, when she reappears she was wearing a one piece outfit that hugged her bodies every curve, almost like a spandexlike material but far more durable. It had a short skirt to give some modesty. Short half sleeves. It had a plunged neckline. She undid her hair, and redid it in a simple bun on the back of her head. She grabs her sabers and other tools from her dress, and put them in a proper utility belt, it hung off of her right hip and hung down onto her left thigh. She still had on high heels. She packed things into a crate, some fancier clothes, some more practical for things with the crew. tools, weapons, accessories a woman may need. Meanwhile attempting to make small talk with Jashin, she didn't want him to grow to bored.. Sealing the crate she stops to look up at Jashin.*
There. A little more practical, hmm..?

"Not even many friends while growing up... Even fewer met my Mother.. if anything made someone nervous i would think that would.."
"I can relate. Not many people met my father - and lived, anyway." Jashin watched as she began walking towards the privacy screen, undoing the dress as she walked. Turning silver, he turned around, studying the wall and the rest of the room. It was spacious, certainly. Somehow, though, he couldn't seem to imagine Sinina growing up here. Hearing Sinina emerge from behind the screen, he turned, raising an eyebrow at what he saw. Was that spandex? No, it had the telltale sign of armor. Of course, he had seen armored bodysuits before. Just not on someone he was, well, attracted to. Watching silently, answering her simple questions - "small" talk he thought humans called it - he watched as she gathered various items and sealed them within her crate. Tools, weapons, accessories, clothes. He was a little disappointed when she undid her hair and tied it up into a bun, though new well the benefits of having a more reserved hairstyle in combat. When she was done, he held out his arms, indicating that he would carry the crate.
"There. A little more practical, hmm..?"
"Perhaps." Jashin said, eyeing her. He nodded at the closed door that they had entered from. "Are you sure they're going to be ok with you traipsing off with the crew? They see a proper lot." As he spoke, his jacket beeped, and Jashin dipped a hand inside to retrieve a small comlink. Reading what the readout had to say, he blinked several times before putting it away. Poppi Pereau was in town, and had just so happened to catch Jashin's order of parts in the city. Of course he had, the tiny little bastard.
"We have an invitation, apparently. An old acquaintance of mine. Well, of my father's, but I like the guy. He's a thief who used to operate on Serenno. Stole some things from my grandfather, and to pay off his debt they put him to work for the family rather than put him in prison. Last I heard he was retired. He's at an inn, called the "Ja'raak". We could meet him, and wait for the crew to show up."

Theed. Theed! Finally... after 2 dreadfully long hours of standing on the speeder, trying to keep to himself, he felt himself waning. He had, as secretly as possible, already consumed all of the sugar in his pockets. He wasn't going to be alive long, he was already breaking down the boundaries of his estimated time of death, but if he had anything to say about it he would live to see at least one more day. Dark Circles would start forming under his eyes, but hopefully no one looked to close. Though, with everyone being force users... They probably didn't need to. They all felt him dying. He felt himself dying. He was pretty sure his Large Intestine and Liver were completely non-functional at this point. As they would enter the city on their speeder, Dominic would turn to Farris, grab him by the arm and quickly walk off in the direction the establishment should be. He didn't have time to say anything, or tell them they would meet up with them later. He had to hurry, but he didn't know if he could run.
"Farris, tell me, can you turn into a woman? Please? Red long hair, about my height, blue eyes, human, bright skin. I'll tell you later, but please do it..." He painfully tried to remember what she looked like. He hadn't been all that long ago, but his mind was starting to leave him. Even if Farris was goop, he would be leaning into him almost fully at this point. His breathing was getting labored. This wasn't good. But he had to keep moving. If they stopped, he would fall dead on these streets.

And lived..? Interesting.
*Sin had watched him as she walked up, seeing his eyebrow raise, and his arms held out. She walked up to him, again with a more relaxed poise, her hips resuming their sway. "Perhaps" was his response, she didn't know if you could get a whole lot more practical, unless she were in a suit of beskar'gam like her brother would be.*
Only a perhaps? What would you find practical then?
*She had left the crate next them, stood before him, hand on her jutted to one side hip. She looked up at him with her silver gaze, scanning his face, ignoring the ever errant lock of hair that had fallen onto her face, she waited to her what was more practical before answering his next question.*
I am not a child anymore. The fact that my mother has no been unheard from in two years, somethings gone wrong. I can feel it. Loki said we could find out what.
*She nodded at his mention of an invitation. She had heard of the place before but never been there. Why go to an Inn when you lived in a place as large as this.*
Sure. Sounds as good a plan as any.

Theed
It was a very good thing Farris wasn't a doctor. It was a very good thing Farris was actually- by trade, a saboteur/spy/assassin. Shifting quickly, while still moving was difficult- but he was well practiced in the art. Dom might feel some movement as far as what he was leaning against- but, in his state, the Agent probably wouldn't care. Annoyingly, he still had the lab cote on- which he was sure, wasn't the proper attire for Dom's .... friend? contact? He wasn't so sure. What ever the case, the cote hid the Polydroxol's shift in bodily stature from anyone looking, so that was a plus. His shoulders narrowed, height diminished, and long thin tendrils quickly grew from his silver head- becoming thinner and thinner until they looked much like humanoid hair. Then, the silvery sculpted hair shifted into a common burnished red color he knew was quite normal for humans. His silver skin bronzed to a human tone- His eyes only dimmed slightly, because their intense color was not nearly normal for a human.
As Farris walked, supporting Dominic- and following his directions, he lifted a now slender feminine hand, and started applying gentle pressure to his throat. After a few minutes, he cleared his throat and spoke- capturing the base line voice of a human female perfectly. He could probably build on the voice from there. Will I be talking much. An incorrect voice can easily give me away... But other than that, what do you think? As Farris walked, he looked down at Dominic, with the nicely sculpted face of a female. The whole transformation had taken less than three minutes. And..you're absolutely explaining this later.
