*Gavin stood, silent as always as the group he had felt had indeed made their way to them. In truth he couldn't understand why. The focus of their presence insisted upon coming with purpose, unlike himself. But the reason was made clear as Sinistra spoke. So perhaps in the end, she had come seeking them, or more so, the Sith that resided here as an order, but first came to them. The how and why of the situation no longer mattered. The question that remained now was should he join. He was no Sith, though the teachings he desired. He had agreed already to follow along with Electrix and Sauthril, but now came this group, searching for others to join in battle. That idea alone danced in his mind as the darkness inside, which had finally stopped growing, stirred within him. And not only the darkness, every part of him.
Battle. His whole life had been about training and becoming as strong as he possibly could. Even in his thirty years of exile, he never stopped training for there was no predicting when his skills would indeed need be needed again. His warrior spirit had remained intact, though it had long since been unleashed. Every essence within him, every part started rising on its own. His fists began tightening, muscles tensing. He couldn't deny it. He so desired to once again be the warrior he once was. So many glorious battles of the past, so many magnificent ends. He longed to experience them again. In his mind, there was only one answer.
But he remained silent for the moment. As always, he would let all the words be spoken, each piece of information fallen into place so that he would never make a choice blindly. Without a turn from his head, his eyes shifted to each of the five individuals, measuring them, taking in all he could in the darkness. He shrugged his left shoulder quickly, remembering the sack that held there still, signifying that he held no residence here, but merely passing through, a traveler seeking a new home.*

Electrix "walked" over towards the woman, something about her seemed familiar, but he was quite sure he had never met her.
Ah yes, the Mandalorians... Pains in the side of every Force user since the creation of time. There are none here, thankfully. Sinistra, was it? I am Electrix. Although, in spirit mostly. Electrix chuckled to himself at the joke, seeing as he was a spirit now. I would be more than happy to fight against any who oppose the power of the Darkside, but as you can see, I am of little ability to do that in my current state.

While his steps made no sound on the physical plane, he knew that they could be picked out in the Force. He made little attempt to hide it, in the company which he was about to join, he had little reason to. The irony of it all still danced in his mind. Young, ignorant lust for power and darkness, was greeted by the aged, experienced and battle weathered maelstrom that the storm had built into. His beginning as a Sith stood in the ethereal plane, now conversing with the plane of the living, a colleague with whom he had sworn to beat down the light and any other which disillusionally presumed to threaten them.
As he would emerge from the shadow, his eyes were on Sin, and while he knew that she would have felt him, his mind was focused on the one from his past. He let his mind reach out, closing his eyes for a quick moment, before opening them again and seeing the ghost form, his senses heightened as he allowed the Force to blend the two planes before him and looking now upon a face he had not seen in what felt like ages. It had been years, to be sure.
"Electrix, you know that knowledge and the faintest whisper are enough to drive some mad, not to mention fuel an army to rebellion. Your knowledge is ever present, that in itself being an asset, though you also know there are ways to make one... whole again."
Diux looked over to Sin, letting the icy blue mix with the yellow, examining her and the others as he spoke again.
"Electrix was a teacher of mine when I had begun at the Kashyyyk Sith Order. He taught me much as I fell, learning to swim in this sea of black. He tested me until the point I left to establish the Order of the Black Star, and even then we held them as allies and called when needed. They have been loyal, and would certainly prove useful in what is to come." He looked back to Electrix and up to the sky, closing his eyes as his head descended again. "We know the Tide will need it."

*Gavin watched silently as yet another made his way to the planet, and more so, to the gathering that had started here.A popular place the Shadowlands had become. Of course, this planet, and even more this region, was popular with Sith, or so he had come to gather. This newcomer seemed to know Electrix. A pupil of a past time. But as they talked Gavin placed his attention to the last three that had come, particularly Sinistra. He had made his choice to her request. All he needed was to just one more thing.
He began to walk towards her, his steps slow and casual. His ice blue eyes seem to almost glow and pierce through the darken land as he moved. He stayed on guard, for being silent the whole time and then suddenly approaching someone would make anyone cautious. He stopped just a bit in front of her and let his eyes meet hers. He appeared young, maybe twenty-five, but his face seemed hardened from time and experience. He remained ever silent as he looked, searching for something.
Truth, he knew, could be found in the eyes. Yes, it could be hidden, but if one knew how to look, they would find the answer of reality in a person. She did not let her power be shown, but he could see power, experience, and knowledge. He couldn't ignore that she was beautiful as well, and to any who neglected her strength because of it would find it deadly, he'd expect. His eyes would reflect its own truth. Like hers, power, experience, and knowledge of its own, but also a hidden hatred, anger, and a touch of fear, though what was unknown.
Taking a step back, he found the answer he sought for. The question simply was she someone to follow? The answer was easily yes. He then spoke, his voice calm and cool.*
It has been quite some time since I have drawn my blade for such a purpose, for a battle that decides such a grand outcome. My spirit longs for such again, and thus my blade and strength will stand with you in this battle.
*He finally took his eyes from her and looked at Stormro and Nel, giving only the tiniest of smirks.*
I do, however, have a desire for something. Something that you and your kind can offer me. And this isn't a bargain, for I'll fight despite your answer.

Stormro stepped into the clearing behind his former master, his own presence in the Force obviously dark yet lacking anything which would give the impression of great power. He did not bother to check behind him to see if Nel had kept up; he already knew that she would not have fallen behind because she would not allow that to happen no matter what it required of her. He had seen within her in that instant on Tatooine, her mind laid open for him to pick through as he had surged through her. He had seen her sheer determination to succeed in spite of her weakness and in spite of her failures; Nel was the sort for whom failure was a challenge and guaranteed success held only stagnation. Scanning over those already present, he raised an eyebrow in interest as his eyes fell upon one whom he had not seen in a long time, longer even than it had been since he had seen Sinistra. Gavin was like a ghost from his past; a man who had once been a comrade and brother before shifting loyalties and beliefs had driven a wedge between them. That was long ago, however, and from the sound of the former Grey's words Gavin's own beliefs seemed to have changed as well.
Raising an eyebrow as Gavin's gaze shifted to him and his new apprentice, Stormro spoke. "And what is it that we Sith have to offer that one such as yourself would want Gavin Phoenix?" Stormro was not yet fully willing to give his unbidden trust to any of these men, especially Gavin. Most of them were unknown to him, and the one person who he did know had not been one who Stormro would have called an ally for some time now. None the less, the looming threat of the Mando'ade meant that the Dark Tide and the Sith needed allies, and as long as he did not allow anyone to get too close or to know too much there was little harm which they could do to him. A part of him, the paranoid part which had always been there and which had been exacerbated by the cybernetics which he had installed within his head, didn't like how Gavin had looked at Nel; the young Zabrak was his find, and he would be damned if he would allow anything to interfere with her training. Shifting his focus away from such thoughts he smiled slyly in response to Electrix' comment regarding his lack of corporeal substance. "There is more to war than mere physical combat Electrix; As your former student has pointed out, even if you cannot fight directly you can be of value to the effort. If nothing else, you can pass on what you know to the younger generations so that the Sith as a whole are stronger for having learned what you have to teach. Besides, this war may potentially present us with an intriguing possibility; history has shown that not all Jedi bear the stresses of war as well as others, and if we play our cards well we may find ourselves in a more advantageous position once it is over than we are presently in..." His smile widened, although he refused to elaborate more in the present company. His mind was always mapping out potential contingencies, tracing the potential echoes of actions and events throughout the galaxy from one potential shatterpoint to the next. While he had a very limited gift for actual prophecy, he could certainly imitate such an understanding of the Force by such analysis and he saw no reason why anyone present save for Sinistra should be privy to what he might do in such a hypothetical situation. His mind returned again to his mild paranoia in regards to those with which they were meeting, his body language and emotion-neutral presence betraying none of the distrust which he felt towards the others in the clearing. No, not even those who were well established members of the Sith Order had any reason to know his plans, for he could never know if they might someday seek to betray him.

The thick air of the jungle and the equally thick foliage had proven to be a challenge, but Nel managed to keep her new Master in sight and, much to her glee, had managed to keep herself up to pace with him and the other woman they traveled with currently. She stayed back though when they reached the clearing, and as her usual defensive posture, she folded her arms over her chest, her eyes flicking from one figure to the next as she studied them. Her own presence wasn't powerful, nor particularly dark... but she had only started down this path, and it was bound to take time before it infected her presence.
She kept quiet as she eyed all of them, taking in their words and mulling them over. Unless she was spoken to, however, she would hold her tongue, as she had been instructed to do. That part was starting to grate on her, but her mind and body weren't ready to rebel, not after what she had already encountered over the past while. It took all she had to suppress the shudder that threatened to pass through her at her own reminder of what happened, and her fingers, draped over their opposing arm, twitched and squeezed. And still, she kept silent, merely listening. The Zabrak noticed the man's gaze flicking towards her and Stormro, but she tried not to betray any nervousness, especially not in front of this group.

The addition of Ramiel to the clearing was a surprise to Sinistra but a welcome one at that. Ramiel tended to be a solitary wanderer but when trouble graced the horizon, he was never far away. She nodded to him, taking his words in stride. He had good things to say about the ghost. She was about to ask Gavin exactly what he would need when she received an urgent comlink message routed through the Rancor's relay. She scrolled through the message quickly, her breath escaping her in an angry sigh. She tucked the comlink away, as Stormro spoke to Gavin. She was surprised. There were subtle clues in his words and stature that lead her to believe there was a story there, albeit for another time as it was a luxury they were quickly running out of. She directed the conversation back to herself for a moment, referencing the message she had just received.
"My fellow brothers in darkness, we have a mutual problem that I have just been informed has only gotten worse. The Mandalorians have struck Ziost and Dromund Kaas, along with Korriban and Yavin. We lose precious time to talk of what we will get from this mutual partnership. I regret that my timetable for this war has been shortened and my armies must be made ready for the storm is coming."
She looked to Stormro and Ramiel, her sulfuric eyes casting a sickly pallor on her face. The yellow sallowed her skin and she looked ill, and ages older than her 60 years. Her anger compounded on itself, her solemn wish that she could run into a gaggle of the armor loving fools right now leaving her frustrated and wanting. She exhaled audibly, letting her anger melt away with it.
"I regret that this intel pulls me away, but I invite you all back to Kuat to join us in handing the Mandalorians their heads on sticks. Ramiel, I trust you can escort our guests back and see to it that their needs are taken care of?"
She did not wait for their answers, a polite bow to the three unfamiliar ones and a nod to the Lord of Vengeance. She turned and headed back into the forest, letting it swallow her presence into the verdant wall. The walk back to the ship passed quickly as she could follow her previous trail easily, her mind going over the brief again and again. Surely the information was a mistake but if it had made it to her, it had been double checked and triple checked. There was no mistaking it. She bounded up the ramp of the Sith Infiltrator and did not slow her haste until she was behind the controls. She powered up the ship and performed her preflight checks. Before long, the ship was rising from the planet's surface, her coms opened to Kuat and Admirals Monet and Belbe to expect incoming and to dispatch a ship to Kashyyyk to pick up the others she left on the surface below.

With a nod in return to her words, glance and intent, Ram indicated his compliance as she was already turning to take care of those matters.
"As always."
It was almost too easy for Ram to guess the nature of the message which Sin had received, which was both good and bad. While it was good that they would soon be getting their chance to put the uncivilized thugs in their place, restoring some semblance of hierarchy to the Galaxy, it did mean that their rabble was moving faster than they had expected, and that the Tide's timeline would have to be pushed ahead for them to be properly prepared to face off against the horde. The thugs were no match for the unrestricted Force, especially not when they combined their powers with that of the narrow minded light siders, the Mandalorians did present a significant enough threat to the civilian populace, as well as enough that they would be significantly impacted, thus requiring the need for preparation to minimize the impact on their people and governed systems. That and they did not want them mindlessly smashing away at KDY. That would certainly prove inconvenient.
Looking to the final member of the group, Ram stood and said nothing as he waited to see what this one had to say.

*Gavin watched with unreadable eyes as Sinistra apologized and retreated into the Shadowlands, new purpose in her step. For whatever the message stated, he felt a bit sorry for the one who was on the other end. He had hoped to continue his conversation with her, but it could wait for another time. He was, at least, pleased that he didn't need to ask for a ride. His lay in ruin on the shore, just at the entrance to the Shadowlands and had been there for a few days now. He waited a moment more before he turned his attention to Stormro.
His eyes looked Stormro up and down. How did this man know his name? He had been alive for so long now. For one hundred and seventy years if he remembered right and almost the last forty in exile. Was he someone from his past? At this point, he believed almost all those he once knew had to have died by now, even his brother had passed, no longer desiring to live without Akire. There were many faces in his past, nd many of which he couldn't place. Time, it seemed, had become the enemy of memory. But he brought his mind to the now. Clearly this man knew of him, but he didn't care how. Turning to fully face Stormro, he once again shifted the bag that hung over his left shoulder, a slight clanging of metal resonating from it.*
"What I seek is understanding and knowledge. I desire to see and understand how the Sith perceive the Force and the darkness so that I may further my own knowledge. I have trained with the Jedi, ran with the Grey, and have dove deeply into the teachings of the Dark Jedi, along with other systems of belief and views. The Sith are the last major faction I have yet to gain inside understanding from. "
*Gavin took a couple steps forward until he stood just in front of Stormro, his eyes ever piercing. Another moment of silence passed before a small smirk came to his face.*
"I'm sure what I desire isn't outside of any boundaries that would prohibit my acquisition of such knowledge. And I'm sure, that you and Lord Sinistra can appreciate one who wishes to step further into the darkness, am I right?"

As the man spoke, he squared of to Sin's companion, the one with whom the young zabrak was following. While he seemed somewhat intrigued by the DT member's words, Ram took note of the bag he carried over his shoulder, with the metal sounds emanating from within. The indication of this being that he carried his belongings with him, though why someone would do that was beyond him. This was suspicious unless one looked at ti from the perspective of a wanderer. Was he a hermit that lived on the planet? He next words then dispelled that theory, having been wit the Jedi and Grey, who would not have had the opportunity to operate efficiently on this planet for a long time, given it`s recent history as a dark side aligned world. He must then be from out of system, though his belongings indicated that he had no mode of transportation, which in itself was an interesting fact that Ram buried in the back of his mind.
Turning his attention to the words he then had spoken, Ram though of his request and interest in indulging further into the ways of the darkside. He sought understanding of the Sith perspective and insight into this. If he was a spy, which could very well be the case, he was either a very blunt and terrible one, or an ingenious, yet somewhat reckless one. Divulging what could only be the truth given the capabilities of current company was something, and as the moments passed it seemed that Ram grew to understand this one more and more. Nevertheless the Tide needed to seek the aid of all Force sensitives, and whether this one was a Jedi, Sith , or something in between he was welcome to join them for now. whether or not he truly intended to indulge in the darker aspects of the Force could be determined at a later time, through other means and actions, and by a much larger council than merely Diux himself. He was only one of 4 Lords of the Tide, and such an individual`s fate would be brought to the attention of at least one other. Ram moved on then with his thoughts, smithing his words carefully as he did so.
"Indeed, as the Tide is always looking to add those seeking the darkness to fill it's ranks, certainly in this time of uncertainty. You will be welcome to join us, though this would be a conversation more fit to take place on our Capital planet of Kuat. Are there any objections to moving to such a locations among any of you?"
Ram's gaze flicked to each of the faces about him, as the ranking member of the Tide present, he felt more that this applied to those not already members of the Dark Tide. They would surely be returning, though his gaze lingered on those considered to be neutral.

I stood there silently as I saw the exchange between the female and the shade. It would seem that were were in fact going to be needed, and after listening it seemed I wanted to participate in this war. A chance to see what they had to offer in his dark favor. I Nodded to the lady showing that I would join, but the moment was soon killed with the arrival of two others. Exhaling fast the movement of air through my teeth caused a hissing sound. My grip tightened around the cross as my anger built. HEATHENS!!!! They were here, my blood began to boil and all I could do was stare that them, the look of disgust evident. I stepped forward my free hand twitching at my side. Just on the outside of my priest robes that concealed the pistol holster just on the other side of it. Everything faded out except the two that had just arrived. There was only us now in my world, Chaos laughing with delight and Horus fury only feeding into my own. All three of us were ready to act.
Heathens, you filthy creatures slithering around here. And another step forward. You should all burn for you're indiscretions!!
My attention was shattered when I heard the voice of another come into the clearing. I stopped suddenly looking at him, my head tiling sideways towards my right. This man appeared to know the shade, or did in the past. I now counted four of them, four people for recruitment? This was turning into an interesting matter. The need for help must be dire... And though as my sight returned to the two heretics in front of me, i was burning with the desire to smite them while they stood before me I was not as stupid to try and attack them while the favors seemed against me. Especially since my allies now seemed to be aligning themselves with them. I clenched the hand at my side attempting to stop its twitching, but now it was just more of a tremble.
Hearing the women speak I smiled. It seemed like war was coming faster then anyone had expected, and there final standing ground would be Kuat. Well then It would seem they were hitting a dire position. Even enlisting heretics to help them. They would find themselves at the end of a barrel, didn't matter who's barrel it would be. So I looked back towards the new man who had arrived, the shades old comrade and spoke to him directly.
I will stand with you're forces on Kuat. I have men who have dedicated there lives to war, I will have them meet us there as well. The mando heretics will burn with the black fires of the abyss!!!

I travel where my corpse travels. I wish to travel to Kuat, but ultimately, the choice to take my corpse isn't mine to make.
Electrix gestured toward the cave glowing with an unnatural red light; the entrance to his tomb.

Ram eyed the entrance to the tomb, the red light eerily emitting from it and then looked back to the spectral form of Electrix. His eyes exuded a sense of both curiosity and uncertainty, his signature grin soon forming in the corner of his lips and he let the lopsided grin take full form as he spoke.
"Very well, though if any tricks should jump out at me, it will be on them that they will meet a swift end."
Ram took the steps towards the entrance of the cavern with haste. Time was growing short now as they needed to get going. He moved to the entrance and stepped in, looking both for the source of the unnerving light as well as Electrix' corpse, as it would be needed for reanimation once they arrived at Kuat. After a quick few moments, he laid eyes upon a large stone encasement, with many inscriptions upon it in old Sith languages and dead tongues. Stepping forward, he felt a dark pulse, surely feeling the Force presence of Electrix, with it having been amplified as it rested on the planet of Kashyyyk where he had nearly always been a Sith and called home.
Marking the point with a 10 figure grid reference and sending the message to a team aboard the section of the Fleet orbiting Kashyyyk, a team would drop to the surface to retrieve the corpse and transport it out to Kuat. Returning to the group, Ram looked first to the ghost, nodding before looking back to the group again.
"It will be transported. Any other concerns?"

*Before Stormro could say anything in response to Gavin's words, they were answered by Diux. He turned his head towards the man and let his eyes take him in. As with Sinistra and Stormo, Gavin could feel power from him. And seeing that he knew Sinistra and spoke of the Dark Tide, he could only surmise that he also was apart of the faction. Perhaps he could learn from him as well, though something in him didn't take as well to Diux as the others. But he let pass from his mind. His head moved from Diux to Stormro, then back again, taking in their behaviors, tones, and movements. He could only guess that these men didn't trust him. And truth be told, he could blame them. He was silent, calm, and keeping himself mysterious. He desired knowledge from them but didn't appear perhaps as one truly seeking to join the Sith, darkness already taking over their minds. At this thought he could only smirk.
He was about to respond as Sauthril spoke up. The first thing he said stirred a bit of irritation within him. Heretics, he said. Judging by the direction his words spoke, he could concluded he meant Stormro and Nel. At he first he didn't understand, for up to that point, he seemed more willing to trust and show a sense of friendliness. When he responded to Diux, the same ease of speech that everyone aside from Nel and Stormro received was present again. Gavin took in all those who resided around, feeling their presence, taking in appearance and anything else that might set these two apart from the rest. The most he could see was that they were not human. He then wondered what this man would think of him. He was half Kiffar and half a breed that he kept locked in his mind, for they were not meant to exist in the minds of others. He glanced over shoulder though not to anyone. His attention was focused upon the patch of reptile-like scales that resided between his shoulder blades. He rolled his shoulders as he thought about it.
Diux then suggested moving on to Kuat, as their was no business left in remaining on Kashyyyk. He listened as Electrix mentioned moving only with his corpse and watched as Diux disappeared for a moment towards the tomb, then reappear a short time later. He again asked if they were ready to move once again. Gavin turned towards him completely now.*
"I am quite ready. Let us move forward."
*Gavin turned towards the direction Diux had come from and waited for him to lead on. Aside from the bag, they would notice something else hanging from his back, a large sword that hung over his right shoulder. It resembled a large katana, its length reach four and a half feet long from end to end. At the tip of the blade rested two smaller blades that curved back towards the hilt on the top side like dragon's teeth. Approaching the hilt, a part extends up and back to the hilt guard and a curved blade extends off the bottom and back over the hilt. The hilt guard is a dragon's head with the blade exiting it's mouth. The top extension pierces into its forehead. A pair of horns curve back to the hilt while another pair curves down to the chin, meeting underneath and seems to hold the bottom curve in place. The hilt is inscribed with runes of power and strength. At the end of the hilt, a four point spear extends off the back for an extra place of attack.*
"Shall we?"

Seeing little objection, Ram looked again to each face, pausing a slight bit longer at the newest individual in the group. His intentions were still unclear though he displayed a willingness to move forward that Diux would not fault, given the help they needed at the moment. His eyes flicked to the rather ornate looking sword across the man's back as he squared off to him. Ram hoped that he knew how to efficiently use it as he then connected to the Fleet with his mini data pad. Sending off another message to the Officer of the Watch on one of the Destroyers, he waited a moment for the confirmation before looking up to them."Very well, let us be off. Those of you needing a ride will be able to board the shuttle which is being dispatched now from the fleet and has authorization to take you to the Estate of the Ten on Kuat. I will meet you in hangar bay there."Looking to each of them again, he nodded slightly and disappeared behind a worshyr tree and moved back to the 'Renegade'. Mounting up, he engaged the ship's system quickly and before long was rising up into the air, moving out over the sea of green once more.
It was no more than 20 minutes later that a trooper had cut through the dense bush and was motioning for the group to follow him as a few more were spit forth from the fauna and were moving with some equipment to the cave. They were able enough to procure the sarcophagus and among the team able to transport it, loading it into the cargo bay of the nearby shuttle, while the other guests were escorted in to the outer crew holdings. Once all would have been mounted up and aboard, the shuttle took off and they were off for the long journey to the hangar bay at the Estate of the Ten.

Months. She had been here for months now. She wasn't quite sure how long at this point. Perhaps it had been a year. Nel didn't know. She didn't care, not right now. Her eyes cast around, ears straining to pick up on anything around her that was out of place. The Zabrak knew her master was around here somewhere, but where? She snorted. She had lost track of him, and that... wasn't good.
Her robes had long since fallen victim to his tactics, though a bit of cleverness had salvaged at least some of it. Fabric from her old robes had been converted into a makeshift war skirt, which barely brushed her knees. The rest of the fabric had been turned into a rudimentary halter. It definitely left her exposed, but at the same time, it cut down on the heat she found herself dealing with deep in the jungles. Nel sighed as she gathered up a few more branches for the fire back at camp, though her fingers stayed close to the thick branch she had commendeered for protection. Not only was her master out here, but so were other predators... or otherwise cranky creatures. The woman winced as a bruise was pressed to, but given she was alone, she didn't care.
But now, it was time to head back... before something out here decided to get her.

Stormro lurked nearby, concealed within the shadows that lent the forest floor of Kashyyyk its name. He had drawn upon his Nightsister training and had taken the form of a large female Nexu and was now stalking his apprentice through the darkened jungle, his awareness in the Force combining with the Nexu's infrared vision to give him even more of an edge over the young Zabrak than he usually enjoyed. Flashing an appropriately cat-like grin he intentionally stepped on a twig behind her, creating a loud audible snap which he was sure that his hyper-aware apprentice would be able to hear before he silently bound through the darkened undergrowth with Force-enhanced speed in a large circle that would carry him around to her other side. Lowering himself to the ground as he watched her reaction to the snapped twig, he dug his claws into the soil for added grip as she turned her back to him and focused in the direction that the sound had some from. He remained still for a moment, drinking up the reaction which he could sense from her through the Force before he launched himself out of his cover and into the clearing, attempting to pounce his apprentice into the ground in a single, powerful leap. If successful, he would try to pin her down with a paw on each shoulder before unleashing a deafening roar in her face.

Predictably for Nel, she had spun at the clip of the branch, and as soon as she realized her mistake, it was basically too late. She heard the crackle and rustle of foliage behind her and turned again. Her foot kept anchored to the ground and she dropped her handful of branches. With her own quick reflexes, she brought up the long branch she had been using as a walking stick, both hands holding it firmly about face level. It was too late to swing out by the time she saw the Nexu, though she did have time to utter a hearty oath before she was slammed into, the paws catching just below her shoulders thanks to her upraised arms. It still knocked her over, however, and she exhaled. Although, the positioning of the stick either would have had it ramming into the beast's throat or into its open mouth, keeping it from getting too close to her face.

Stormro caught the stick in his wide, toothy maw, snapping it with ease before he stepped back off of Nel and shifted back into his normal form, the cheshire-cat like smile still on his face. Unlike Nel his clothing and appearance had not faded nor did he seem to have struggled to survive during their long stay in the Shadowlands. "Do not rely so heavily on your eyesight Apprentice; of all of your senses it is the most easily deceived and relying on it too much will stunt your awareness through the Force. Your failings in that regard will be one of the next things that we focus on. Now get up, get back to camp and break camp; we're leaving..." With that he began walking back towards where she had been camping since their arrival, the unspoken expectation that she would stand and follow him hanging in the air.
