Grace was slightly shaken following the whole experience and nobody in their right mind could blame her. Her newly found - what did she call them? Were they related? The little blue one was cute. And the fear concerning her medical condition inspired her to respond, hence she explained reassuringly -Grace- "We'll get somebody on that straight away." And judging by how they were reacting to the whole situation, Grace simply assumed that they needed a bit of time before springing anything on them. Anything more anyway Boland, Maureen and The hound stood frozen momentarily. Then Maureen said matter of factly -Maureen- "Hey!! Those are An Tiarna's kids!" Boland shot the girl a look then turned back - Boland- "I'll take your word on that sweetie." Holstering his weapon the pair moved up close, but a meter from Grace but stopped. Maureen smiled and waved her right hand at the girls. Leaning over the man muttered low - Boland- "They are Twi'leck." Eyes widening the girl blurted out -Maureen- "I promise we don't want to eat you."

Gid and Alem had somehow managed to collect themselves Just as the little girl solemnly informed them that they had no fear of being devoured. And with that comment the pair were on their backs in stiches again. Conversely, Shakk wondered suspiciously what prompted the little girl to say that. And she began assessing who she intended to take out first. And in which way she would dispose of them. Then Alem leaned over to her sister and spoke -Alem "I don't think that they are going to eat us...." A smile grew on the face of Shakk. Until.... Eyes widening she looked frantically left then right. Eyes thinning she told herself: Shakk! Mental Note: keep one eye on Alem....

As the crystals gave renewed life to the trio of twi'lek's, simultaneously life was given elsewhere, or so it initially seemed. Bey Kahn stood tall with his mouth agape, watching in awe as cascading beams of light shone between the staff of Sneetmuck and the large gamorrean holding his father's spear. The wizened crone was hard to see, so intense was the energy she was channeling, lighting her up like a newborn star. In that moment her body erupted in flame, the power she wielded overwhelming her old bones and immolating her near completely. Bey had to shield his eyes for fear of going blind. After a moment he opened them and took a step forwards, blinking in confusion as he looked around for the shaman sow. Where she had stood there was nothing save a dark patch of burnt grass, still smoking from the recent detonation. Without a second thought Bey ran over to the patch of scorched earth, looking for any sign that Sneetmuck might still be alive. The only remnant he saw was her staff, the gnarled length of pzobian oak laying on the ground, burnt black along with everything else.
No. The droid head hanging from his hip translated the barely audible squeal that left his lips. He bent down and scooped up the staff, holding it to his chest where his heart ought to be. Another friend gone, another link to his past vanished from existence. The surviving members of Clan Murtog had just gone from two to one. He never felt so alone. Grief threatened to overwhelm his senses. He hardened his heart and looked up from the black patch, now fixing his attention on the dimwitted gamorrean holding his father's precious vibro-lance.
Did it work? Did all of Graybeard's scheming and mystical mumbo-jumbo truly produce results? He hadn't shared all the details of his plan with Bey, but the old boar had figured out enough on his own. Clearly the ewok wizard had intended to transplant the soul of Bey Kahn's father into the absent minded gamorrean. Yet was such a thing possible?
Bey approached the morrt covered pig and squealed hopefully.
Pa, are you in there?
The other gamorrean looked up from his activity of picking morrts and fixed Bey Kahn with a confused look. It squealed something in Gamorrese that was for Bey's ears only, but it was clear from the old blacksmith's face that the ritual hadn't completely worked out as planned. His father was not inside the gamorrean. They failed. Now disappointment jockeyed with grief for position in Bey Kahn's heart. Angrily he snatched the Pale Spear from the dim witted gamorrean, and then almost dropped it as something strange happened next.
Bey! Bey! My boy, I'm alive. Wait, am I alive? Why can't I move?
The spear vibrated in his hand as the voice spoke in his mind. Bey looked down at the haft of the polearm and snapped his mouth shut. Understanding dawned on him. It wasn't that they had failed to summon his father's soul from the netherworld. They had managed that, in fact, yet the spirit hadn't quite gone into the planned vessel. Instead of entering the gamorrean, it had actually been drawn into the spear. Now when Bey Kahn touched the weapon that had once belonged to his father, he could actually hear Greer Kahn's voice in his head. The old warlord of Clan Murtog had become the weapon he loved so much. He didn't say anything, either to the weapon or to anyone else who was present. It would be too crazy to explain at this time. Instead he returned his attention to Grace and the three twi'lek's.
Wait? Where the heck did they come from?
As for Graybeard, the moment the life crystals had exploded and gave new life to the Twi'leck Triple Dubh, the ewok shaman had been thrown back by the expulsion of energy. A dozen meters away he found himself laying on the ground on his back, smoke wafting from his completely singed fur. His staff was nothing more than burning embers on the ground, completely annihilated by the force of the unleashed spell. He blinked several times and then reached a furry paw to his opposite arm and pinched himself, feeling a sharp pain where he squeezed the skin. Still alive then. He had escaped fates clutches one more time. Grimacing, he sat up on the floor.
"Is everyone alright?" Choked the ewok, erupting in a new fit of coughs.

Things were moving at a fairly calm pace. Well calm as can be expected by three young women who were just quite literally awoken from death. Indeed the three Twi'leck had scarce began to regain their physical equilibrium in the natural world. Likewise, the mental, or perhaps better worded psychological state of the girls was in the moment extremely fragile. The sudden explosion was, to say the least shocking. Gid and Alem were roughly torn from an oddly intoxicating maniac depressive hysteria in which both had been mired between bouts of weeping hysterically and uncontrollable fits of laughter. And the pair landed effortlessly into their natural states. Alem moved instinctively with lightening speed and enormous power, hurling Shakk violently to the ground with her left hand while tossing Gid behind her like a ragdoll. Gid rolled gracefully coming up crouched low several meters behind with two guns drawn and aimed at the Gamorrean and his crew. Luckily she also retained her common sense and did not immediately open fire. Still she could not resist dropping a sharp comment -Gid- "Do I smell bacon?" Slamming violently to the floor may well have saved Shakk from losing her just recently reinstated life. That noted, she didn't land on down filled mattress. reality noted, the blow undoubtedly knocked the wind out of the girl. Furthermore, she suffered a mild concussion as her head hit the ground. Indeed, But the most curious change was that Shakk was returned to her natural state of having no comprehension of suffering from a mental disorder. Rolling over into her back and heaving deep the girl fought to breath. Finally rolling back onto her belly she crawled behind Alem asking in a raspy voice -Shakk- "Gid did you just say breakfast is ready? " The pair laughed but maintained their senses

The whole chain of events went by like a flash. And in Colonel O'Dubhui's experience this type of insanity was normal. Always the pragmatist O'Dubhui sustained focus on guarding the line that separated his people from the Juvexian side of the bizarre standoff. That said, Sgt Slaughter take and himself kept a keen eye on the situation among his CO and her associates

Right palm smacking forehead and running up across her head Grace sighed deep and attempted to look cool as a cucumber. Keeping her eyes on the Twi'leck three Grace turned and watched as the bizarre phenomenon. Alas with her concentration divided between her famila, the Twi'leck girls and the Gamorreans she missed the key action in the whole incident. The Raven on her shoulder conversely knew exactly what was going on. And he cared less! Twi'leck women, on the other wing hand, he could not get enough of. And he watched.... The Twi'leck's move alerted Boland and he turned toward the disturbance. Eyes widening he mumbled -Boland- "We'll fuck.m e...." 'There stood Maureen starring less than a meter away from Bey. Eyes closing a moment he stepped forward cautiously. Maureen stood curiously looking up at Bey and asked -Maureen- " Why does your dad live in a spike? "

Bey Kahn nearly jumped out of his skin when the little girl spoke up. He looked down at Maureen, surprised she had managed to sneak up on him. Mind you, there was an awful lot that had happened today that easily absorbed his immediate attention. He took a knee, lowering his quasi-muscular bulk so that he could look Maureen in the eye. He raised an inquisitive brow, attempting to determine just how she knew about his father's spirit becoming trapped in the vibro-lance. There was clearly much more to this little girl than met the eye. Honestly he shouldn't have been surprised. It was the girl who had initially led him to An Tiarna's grave to begin with. Reason dictated there was a purpose for that, though he wasn't entirely sure what that was just yet. He turned the weapon over and quickly planted the prodding end into the ground before releasing his hold on the leather bound haft. He squealed his retort and as per usual, the droid head on his hip translated.
I don't know, kid. He scratched his stubbly chin. It wasn't supposed to turn out this way. Somebody made a mistake.
That somebody being Graybeard of course. Some of the blame might have fallen on Sneetmuck's shoulders, as she had been slightly more instrumental in the part of the ceremony involving Bey Kahn's father, but seeing as she was nothing more than a dark stain on the grass now it didn't seem right to heap blame in her direction. No, he knew who's fault this was.
Bey Kahn left the Pale Spear where it was planted in the ground and walked over to where Graybeard lay, stepping over the giggling twi'leks that were rolling around on the floor. Their presence would need to be explained to him as well, but first things first. The old boar stood over the ewok shaman and extended Sneetmuck's scorched staff to the decrepit old'wok, using it to pull Graybeard to his feet. The wizened shaman stumbled at first, then took the staff from Bey Kahn and leaned on it like a cane. The gamorrean fixed Graybeard with a glaring stare that spoke volumes of his current state of irritability.
"Don't give me that look, Pig. This was your father's doing, not mine." Coughed Graybeard as he brushed ash from his fur. "He was too obsessed with his spear. His spirit went straight to it, completely ignoring the...er, other vessel, we had planned."
They both looked back at the only other gamorrean present besides Bey. The dimwitted boar they had brought to the ceremony was now sitting on the ground eating the parasites he plucked off his fat frame. Snot bubbles blew from his snout.
Right, well maybe that was for the best. Bey turned away from the idiot gamorrean and the smoking ewok. He waved at Grace to get her attention and pointed at the three twi'leks she had summoned into life. Grace, you meant to resurrect them, right? Please tell me we did something right.

A Firespray-31 class interceptor step down quietly. The ship posed no imminent threat to those occupying forced in the area. The vessel sat parked approximately 20 meters away from the foreigners. A monster of a man exited the ship. e quietly began conversing with a neighborhood merchant and some form of exchange was made. 3 droids and 4 human worked began unloading the ship. The man watched closely as he socialized with the merchant. Their business was completed in a matter of minutes and all who remained was the courier. The man casually examining his ship. Maureen's eyes opened wide looked up at the Pig man and she listened. Kurt be hard talking like that she thought. Her glance setting on the shaft and it trembled ever so slightly. She was strong but could not do anything with such a calamity. She watched as the Pig man chastised the wizard and her face hardened but she understood the anger. Grace watched the man with great pity. Empathy actually, the feeling misunderstand a person's pain from your own feelings. A superior emotion. When the direct question of she was successful where he was not touched ears she replied -Grace - "I was lucky to have found life Crystals with their with their Force imprint etched into them." Face revealing flash of vulnerability she added - Grace- "But I was too weak...." This disappeared quickly and was replaced by a warm smile. Nodding to Graybeard -Grace- "He touched me - merely laid his hand on my shoulder!" Her enthusiasm was clearly evidenced by her lifting voice and body language, hands moving emphasizing every word -Grace- "It was he who and saved them. A most powerful Draoi - Wizard." She smiled at Graybeard warmly then turned back to Bey saying -Grace- "We will find a way a chara go maith.". The ceaseless beat of the bodhran picked up sporadically and Uillean pipes joined in screeching out triumphant tunes

The sisters watched the converse for a time but the pilot who had just recently landed more than free their attention from the scene. Nodding subtly Gid turned and walked right up to the man. Shakk followed close behind with Alem slowly taking the rear. Stopping in front of the merchant (and his ship) some dialogue was noticeable, with Gid doing the talking for the three. Alem interrupted occasionally to ask a question or comment on a particular part of the ship but did not interrupt the flow of the communication. Shakk stood back watching occasionally stepping forward to talk to Alem. The two began investigating the exterior of the ship. This banter and thorough once over went on for several hours. Gid could be heard at one point, first laughing then saying -Gid- "Hand Maid Tale? That's priceless!" Overhearing her sister repeat the name of the ship Alem howled a laugh herself and said quietly - Alem- "We are so keeping that."

Ris had watched as the Twi'leck girls approached. They were lookers and he was not made of stone. But he was a gentleman with the ladies. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. But it? He'd like to give it away and run. He was too old to die doing this nonsense. And on they went. Mileage, how fast was it. She was thurough. The woman's response after hearing the name made him smile but he was quick to add another tidbit of information -Ris Kee- "That's tail like one an animal not tale." Smiling he winked. Opening the rear hatch he led the woman onto the ship and flagged the other two - sisters maybe? to follow.tHe explained the interior of the ship, any adjustments made. Explained that the ship's name was born of the names of the droids which supplied droid brainstorm the vesel. He told stories of adventures, great mishaps and such from decades of using the ship. He loved the Hand Maid Tail. He truly did. Looking solemnly at the woman and taking her left hand with his right he asked, or perhaps better put begged -Ris Kee- "You'll take good care of my baby?" Then straightening up as it about to salute an emperor he said coldly -Ris Kee- "100 OOO credits."

On the correction of the name Gid nodded upwards. 'Tail or tale' it was still funny. More so when you understood the pun. She liked this man. And the stories! She could harvest with him all night talking of his travels. The ship was beautiful! And droid brains? After the tour Gid felt drunk. Ok.... It was truly beautiful. When the man's hand closed on her own she stifled a scream. And restrained herself from driving a knee between his legs and head butting his nose. But Then she saw the utter despair that suddenly overtook his face and plea. Could bring Palpatine to tears she thought. All said, done and seen was swept aside by the price. 100000 credits. Pretty good really. And way beyond their means. If she could have shrunk and stepped under the nearest carpet she would have

"I have her covered." Grace pronounced loudly. She did not await response turning and walking from the ship. She felt rather intrusive following the pair but it was the showing of a used ship in broad daylight to three people. Smiling politely as she passed by the other two girls Grace walked away towards the Utopic Vulture

With the ritual more or less completed, the crew that had arrived with Bey Kahn and the rest began to pack up. The ewok maidens and drum beaters climbed back aboard the repulsor sled they had hitched a ride on. When the dimwitted gamorrean climbed on, the sled sunk a few inches, the repulsors struggling to support his weight. Graybeard was the last to climb on, though he didn't so much climb as was lifted up onto the sled by the dumb pig alien. Old Graybeard would be out of commission for a while. They wouldn't be able to utilize his powers to retry the spell, nor count on it for anything else any time soon. Bey didn't bother to supervise. Instead he stood quietly and watched the exchange that was taking place nearby.Someone had arrived at the end of the ceremony and was already trying to sell a ship to the newly risen twi'lek triplets. He must have had an extremely good nose for a sale if he found them so soon.Bey walked back to his swoop-bike and grabbed a tarp and some string out of the cargo pouch. He then retrieved the vibro-lance he had planted in the ground, immediately hearing his father's voice in his mind. "No time for that", he chortled and began to wrap the weapon up in the tarp he had brought, muffling the voice completely. He then tied a piece of string around the tarp to hold it in place. Once bundled up he slung the soul-possessed spear over his shoulder. She smiled at Graybeard warmly then turned back to Bey saying -Grace- "We will find a way a chara go maith." Her words were a comfort and he was certain of the sincerity there. Still...All the same Grace, we won't hold you to that. He jerked a thumb over his shoulder in the direction of his ship. You fixed our ship. I mean, technically your man did... He was referring to Boland. ...but you paid for it, so same thing really. We already owed you a debt of sorts. He reached a hand up and patted the strap for the spear slung over his shoulder.Besides, Pa's spirit isn't going anywhere right now. It might even be handy to keep him in there for a while. Greer Kahn might not agree, but nobody was asking for his opinion at the moment. Speaking of which, with our ship repaired and this, err, ceremony I guess you would call it, completed, I can't see us staying long. We've already taken on another contract that we'll have to pursue soon if we want to get paid. He padded the credit pouch on his hip, eliciting barely a jingle to emphasis their current state of poverty. His brow raised and there was a slight gleam in his eyes as an idea struck him. You know, your lot seem pretty capable. You should consider coming with us. You might not seem strapped for cash like us, but I promise there is no end of adventure where we are going.

While Maureen and The hound tore around the area Boland sat with the group. Just as he was set to respond to Bey the woman reappeared. Leaning to Boland she spoke quietly -Grace- "I believe that those girls just bought acship." Then turned to Bey with a flip of her right hand -Grace- "Now are you offering an advrnture?"

Alem had walked up to her sister and the man as he laid down the offer. The rather steep cost did not have a second to even register in her head when Grace declared that she would cover the cost. A smile grew on her face. Still staggered by the price the man had suggested for the ship Grace's voice hit her Gid's ears. She almost fainted but instead extending right hand asked' -Gid- "Deal?" Brows dropping Shakk wondered how quickly she could grease the tall man but she discarded that idea when her relative responded. That was that. Following quietly behind her.... Her what? Aunt she thought. Who cares; she's a relative! Slipping into an vacant seat n ever so quietly she watched Bey Kahn speak

The look on the girl's face when made the offer wasn't exactly. Encouraging. Then the acceptance of deal by someone he had faith in keeping their word struck him. So long work and hello retirement. Roughly shaking the Twileck's hand he then handed her the keys,ID cards and answered "Deal!"

Was he offering an adventure? Maybe. It certainly was never boring traveling around the galaxy as he and the crew did. The shrewd business pig in him would have said what he was offering was a chance to get rich, though he knew in his heart that wasn't a guarantee. In fact, their current state of poverty was proof that profit and adventure didn't always go hand in hand. Still, he also wouldn't be happy dying in bed. Bey Kahn was a pig of action.
I suppose you could say that; though what I am really offering is a mutually beneficial partnership. He went into his sale's pitch. Listen, you've got skills and we've got skills. Separate, we'd both do well for ourselves, but together we could accomplish a lot. Plus there is strength in numbers. I bet those pirates that attacked us on the way in would've thought twice about it if we had some more friends with us. He scowled as he struggled with his words. This was harder to explain than he originally thought. He needed to simplify it and get to the point. What I propose is that we form a caravan. No... He paused. Not just a caravan. A space caravan. We travel together from world to world and help each other out along the way. Whether you're looking for paying gigs, want to see exotic places, or are seeking ancient lore...there is something for everybody. That was as simple as it gets. So, what do you think?

Aboard the ship Alem and Gid were like kids in a candy store. The pair uued and awed over the exquisite basic layout of the ship. -Gid- "I hope that the people who handled this beautiful interior design won a Sthie for this...." Alem nodded enthusiastically in agreement but asked -Alem- "What's a Sithie?" Shrugging her sister responded -Gid- "Haven't the foggiest but look at this!" Laughing the stocky Twi'leck responded - Alem- "It's immaculate!" Ten minutes later, their initial assessment of the ship's layout finished for now, they began digging into what had to be some of the craftiest personal touch ups one would assume were the Hand of Ris Kee. Who would've guessed that dirtbag we bought it off did this? So Gid thought. The ship looked good from the outside, if one could get past the dingy beat up appearance. Maybe he wanted people to see it like that? 'No threat here.' people would say....nGid diped her head. That's it! Then mumbling aloud -Gid- "And we'll do our part keeping up appearances...." Her sister, busy herself rooting through the ship asked - Alem- "What honey?" Snapping from her trance like state the other spawn of An Tiarna answered -Gid- "Oh! Was just talking to myself." That two grown adults could act as such is quite believable it is just a mannerism people like to smack talk publicly. And on they went. At some point Alem stopped cold - Alem- "Where is Shakk?" Her sister suddenly standing up straight, eyes wide - I thought you had her!" Right now Gid envisioned some poor Juvexian man is being systemically mutilated all on account of some pointless off the cuff statement that he'll never say again. He won't possess the tongue necessary to do so. both girls turning rapidly and bolting to leave ran straight into one another. Silently picking themselves up they pitched the hatch and ripped out through the exit. In passing Alem commented -Alem- "Oh look! Seismic charges! Cool!" Her sister had no time to respond as the pair ran in the direction of Boland and Grace's ship. Coming to a screeching stop right behind the chair where Shakk now sat with the plotting gaggle of lunatics they caught the tail end of Bey's speech, a man who Shakk now believed should be a member of the Senate. his talking in her opinion was that good. Past that personal opinion, Gid, speaking for all three sisters, enthusiastically declared -Gid- "We're so in!" And Alem summarily smacked Shakk in the back of the head with her right hand. The little psychotic wanted to scream but held in the fury. She did such often, packing her rage away deep inside then unleashed at an appropriate time.... They were going on an adventure with the Pig person who's dad lived in a spear. Shakk was excited. Clearing throat the tattooed red Twi'leck said authoritatively -Gid- "C'mon girls, we need pretty overwhelmed up for the trip." Confused Shakk asked - Shakk- "Who do we need to get pretty for?" With a laugh her sister responded - Alem- "just a figure of speech honey." And off they strolled to their vehicle

The proposal had scarcely left Bey's lips Boland instinctively howled "I'm in!" He slowly retracted his arm thinking -Boland- 'I'm not a 'me' anymore; I'm one of us....' While Boland grappled with that pretty basic reality, Grace quite diplomatically said -Grace- "I second that." Just coming up on the scene the little girl asked -Maureen- "Where are we going now?" The man stood, sweeping the child up with his left arm and walked to the sheep. Hatch dropping they entered and he immediately began preparing to depart
