Mary caught the almost slip the other woman made, but didn't think much of it. She did relax a bit as the creature abandoned her leg to return to Mira. the clearing wasn't large enough for either of their ships to land, but Mary didn't really need either ship to land to manage a cargo transfer. With a few commands via her mask's control links, the Tempest stopped orbiting the field and came to a halt in midair only a short distance from the other ship. A moment later, and the other two HV-7s came floating out of the ship to join the one she had traveled on. Within a few seconds, all three where floating next to the two women, hovering low enough to step onto.
-Mary It is indeed my ship and transferring cargo will not be an issue. We can either head straight up to your ship to do whatever packing and loading needs to be done. Or we can stop by mine first to get some cargo boxes to make things easier to load. If you don't have some already aboard. Or you can come over and pick out the room you want. Either way, the first stop for any cargo will probably be the cargo hold.
With that thought, she send another command to her ship, and the wide loading doors of the cargo bay began of open on the left side of the ship. Beyond the opening doors was a large, mostly empty area.
-Mary As for size, I'm not too worried, I have way more room on board that I would even know what to do with. Even with the ship modified to serve as a mobile house and outpost for the Jedi Lords.
She stepped up onto the nearest of the disc shaped droids, letting her boots lock into place and waiting for the other woman to follow her lead.

"Oh my." Mira held her hand over her mouth, stifling a giggle as she gently probed one of the HV-7 droids with the toe of her foot, before taking an unbalanced step onto the hovering droid. She found it was easier to maintain her balance if she stood with her feet shoulder width apart and her knees bent in a bit of crouch, though she also held her amphistaff out in front of her like a tight-rope walker. "Let's head up to my ship first. It shouldn't take long to pack."
Still connected in some capacity to her sekon starship through her villip implants telepathic link, a small portion on the side of the hovering organic vessel's hull appeared to retract to reveal a dilating hatch-sphincter, squelching apart to allow them into the well lit interior. The walls shimmered and sparkled while further lighting was produced overhead by lambent crystals embedded in the ceiling. The transport was small, busy cosy, with a great deal of the living space given over to biots and living equipment shaped with scientific study in mind. More of a mobile shaperate than starship really, but it made sense given that the Yuuzhan Vong was a Master Shaper after all. Mira reached her hands up to her head and pulled back the hood she wore, shaking out her long raven hued locks that were threaded with a number of living creatures that seemed to serve as ornaments.
♪♪ "Fa la la la la." ♪♪ She sang melodically, which seemed to cause a reaction within the ship as inanimate biots suddenly became...animate. Things with legs scurried, while winged bugs buzzed on by, and those without slithered along the floor on scaly or slimy bellies. Many different shapes with many different purposes, all beautiful forms of life when beheld by the glowing pink mqaaq'it of the Master Shaper. Mira talked as she led Mary over to a bio-sealed locker containing her extensive wardrobe. "I do enjoy this ship, but you should have seen the Sh'rip Sh'pa I arrived to Ossus in. A seedship, full of all manner of Yuuzhan Vong terraforming technology. Its currently resting at the heart of the Garden of Yun-Ne'Shel where it serves as the headquarters for She-Who-Shapes' handmaidens and the location of the World Brain I impregnated the planet with. No finer playground for a member of the shaping caste." She removed a crimson ozzhith gown from the closet and stuffed it in a robeskin satchel. "I think I'll have to do with a lot less, but I've always enjoyed a challenge. Besides, I expect I'll be doing quite a bit more adventuring than shaping while we're on Jedi business. Speaking of which, I haven't even decided where we should set off to first yet. Any thoughts?" She asked, though it appeared as though she was more focused on deciding whether to bring her blue headdress or her matching red one.

Mary followed her new master (... mistress?) up to the living ship. All the pets? Or were those wildlife? She wasn't sure, but they were slightly creepy. She had dealt with plenty of things just as creepy or even worse in her time in the undercity of coruscant. In fact, she thought she recognized a few of the examples.
-Mary You would be surprised at how much you could bring along. If your ship was a little smaller, we could tuck the entire thing in the cargo hold. I've got some research areas of my own in the ship. It is mostly robotics, cybernetics, and computer stuff. But I'm sure we could find some space in those areas for any of the larger pieces you might want to bring along.
Mary thought about the last question for a long while. She had mostly been an on call attack dog for the Order since she had joined. She hadn't had much call or opportunity to pick her own locations for a while.
-Mary I will have to think about it, up until now, I've been sort of on call. Going where I'm needed on any given day or week.

Stopping in the middle of her packing, Mira raised her head and scrunched her glowing eyes, appearing thoughtful for about a second before the moment passed and she shrugged her slender shoulders. "We shall simply have to trust in the Force to guide us then." She said simply, as though it were a simple matter and not complicated at all by the fact that as a Yuuzhan Vong, she didn't actually have a connection to the Force. But if that was an acutal impediment, she didn't plan to let it stop her. When the Master Shaper set her mind to something, she followed through to the end, until she reached it one way or another. "There, I think that's everything then." She closed her person sized satchel of robeskin and slung it over her shoulder, nearly falling over backwards as she did so, though managing to right herself and maintain her balance at the last moment. Toothless appeared in her shaping hand a moment later and she leaned on the rigid serpent for additional support.
Between the hovering droids, the biots with legs and wings, it didn't take long for everything the Yuuzhan Vong had planned to bring with her to make its way over to Mary's ship. As the two duo of Jedi Knight and Jedi Padawan boarded the Tempest, Mira took a deep breath of what was to be her home for the foreseeable future, noting a tinge of droid lubricants and engine grease on the air.
"Well this looks cozy." Her mqaaq'it never seemed to stop moving, barely lingering on one thing for more than a moment before darting towards the next. She was a curious spirit at heart and there were so many things about infidel technology and ways of life that she still didn't entirely understand. She looked at Mary. "So, where can I put my things? I'd like to set up my embrace of pain, which you are more than welcome to try out later on. Gives the body a nice stretch, which is good for blood flow, which in turns help warm up my mental muscles." She kneaded either side of her brow with a pair of fingers.

Mary eyed the large, rather sinister looking organic contraction with heavy suspicion, though the expression was hidden behind her mask.
-Mary If you say so. Follow me, the crew quarters and lounge are near the rear of the ship, but the access corridors go the whole way, so we shouldn't have any problems moving anything.
Once they were in the lounge, it was much easier to pick through the remaining rooms. The right side of the ship was already mostly claimed. Furthest forward was Mary's room. It was followed by the room used by Na'an, though the tuskan child seemed to be hiding for now and only a glimpse of a covered face was seen as the two women entered the lounge. The next two rooms had been converted into a meditation chamber and an armory. All four rooms on the left side of the ship, however, where still unclaimed.
-Mary Take your pick of any on the left. I'm not sure if that is a bed, or meditation couch though. If it is for meditation, I have a room dedicated to that on the right.

Kr'Naan had quickly made her way out of the line of sight of the returning Mary and the strange looking outsider guest. What was Mary doing? From her understanding their mission was the arrest and capture the person...if that was actually a person, and bring them in. Classic Jedi dirty work that she had seen Mary do many times. Obviously they had tricked or coerced Mary, or perhaps some sort of mind control. The Mary that Kr'Naan knew was not one to shirk on her duties willingly. And so Kr'Naan hurried ahead to her room and opened up the ventilation duct and squeezed her way up into the airways of the ship. Kr'Naan remembered this being much easier when she was younger, but she could wiggle worm her way through and around the innards of the ship.
With great effort she finally caught up to where Mary and the other person were chatting. Pressing her hooded ears against the vent grate and holding her breath while she strained to hear what they were talking about. Something about blood and stretching bodies? Also mind muscles? Definitely mind control of some sort. Kr'Naan continued her crawl as Mary led the new arrival around the ship. Finally as they stopped Kr'Naan tried to twist her arm down to reach for the knife at her belt. Probably should have already taken that out, but her first thought had been to hide and observe. Struggling for a moment, Kr'Naan felt her gloved fingers tickle the handle of her knife. Stretching just slightly more, and hearing something pop in response, Kr'Naan finally wrapped her fingers around the handle. Unfortunately she could not move her arm. Her shoulder firmly wedge and torso pressed against the metal paneling she had gotten herself stuck. Kr'Naan tried to quietly fight the law of friction and confined spaces by pulling herself as hard as possible to unstick herself. To no avail.
Kr'Naan exhaled a quiet groan in frustration as she then overheard Mary speak of the new person taking a room. Something else was going on, but it didn't sound nefarious. Why had she jumped to such a conclusion? Something about the appearance of that person made her uneasy. She could not quite place her finger on it, but her mind went back to some stories her grandfather had told her of similar visitors to Tatooine. A sigh escaped Kr'Naan covered lips as she finally realized the foolishness and stupidity of jumping to such conclusions. And all because of some sort of childish fear brought on by whatever superstitious story her grandfather had told years ago?
As Kr'Naan accepted her fate of dying within the vents of the Tempest, the metal panel she was on groaned. Two of the bolts gave way, causing the ceiling to open up and drop the Tusken directly onto the two people below. She brought with her a large amount of thick dust that had gathered in the vents over the years which deposited itself like a lowering cloud upon the now trio.
"Hiiii Mary." Kr'Naan said sheepishly in Basic with a matching smile unseen behind her coverings. "Who's your new...friend?" The word friend was emphasized with heavily questioning inflection, as Kr'Naan's curiosity still took priority.

There was a sudden groan of metal as part of the ceiling fell in. If Mary hadn't been distracted by getting her new guest settled in, she probably would have been able to dodge. As it was, the young woman that had spent much of the last decade on the ship with her though a vast number of missions came crashing down on top of her. Fortunately, she didn't think anything was damaged, equipment or biology.
-Mary Naan, this is Mira. Mira this is Kr'Naan. Naan, get off me.
Once she was back on her feet and helping Mira up as well, she moved on to answering the question.
-Mary It would seem that the sealed part of our orders were to bring Mira on board, and that she would be the one to see about actual formal training for me.
What Mary didn't say, but that Naan would know perfectly well was that Mira was only the latest to attempt such training. And that all previous individuals had either written her off as hopeless, run screaming from the possible haunted but definitely creepy ship, or mysteriously vanished without a trace.

Mira's butterfly winged shaped ears fluttered as she heard the groan of metal from above, causing her neck to slowly bend back as her glowing pink mqaaq'it raised towards the ceiling, watching seemingly in slow motion as the small girl fell from the vent above onto Mary. Immediately her complex brain tried to piece together and interpret what she was seeing, delving deep into her mental database on galactic culture as she tried to put a name to the type of creature this Kr'Naan could be. Hooded head, a sand coloured garment, short in stature. Of course! This had to be a Jawa." "Fascinating." Exclaimed the Master Shaper, looking from the newcomer back up to the vents. So they just...lived in the vents? How many were up there? Oh, this was exciting. Wait, what else did she know about Jawas? That's right, they had a reputation for thievery. She'd have to be careful with where she left her biots. Kneeling down, the Yuuzhan Vong met the tiny tusken eye to ocular implant and smiled warmly, the blue eye sacks beneath her glowing orbs contracting in her species expression of delight. ♪♪ "It's very nice to meet you, Kr'Naan." ♪♪ She said in melodic basic, then reached her shaping appendage into her robe and retrieved an object she had been holding onto. Unbeknownst to Mira, it was your proto-typical hydro-spanner, but to a Yuuzhan Vong who knew little of the ways of the galaxy, it was a great 'whatchamacallit' treasure. "This is for you." She said, handing the mechanical object to Kr'Naan, before patting her on her hooded head.According to her research, Jawas loved junk. With this hopefully suitable offering made, there was less of a chance her nosetongue or nang-hul collection would mysteriously go missing. Standing back up, the unorthodox Jedi Knight turned to Mary and then motioned to the room she would be using.♪♪ "Just give me a moment." ♪♪ And like that, Mira disappeared into the room she had acquired, the door sliding shut behind her. There were several thuds and loud ruffle noises coming from within, but approximately thirty seconds later the doors slid apart to reveal the Master Shaper, changed into less formal Jedi attire. A humid mist expelled from the room like a cloud, smelling of sweet cloying incense and spicy cinnamon.Holding her amphistaff like a rigid walking stick, Mira emerged in a shimmering crimson oozhith gown that accentuated her light tattooing and somewhat lanky proportions, her raven hued hair tied up with a small crustacean pin that seemed to wiggle in place. "Now I believe it's time for this Countess and her faithful padawan to see the galaxy. To the cockpit, Mary. The Force is telling me there is adventure on the horizon." Was it? She then stopped to hold her chin, blinking thoughtfully. "This vessel has a cockpit, correct? I actually have no idea how it operates."

"Another one?" Kr'Naan asked in response to Mary's explanation of their new guest. Realizing the faux pas, she quickly hopped to her feet and embarrassingly bowed to Mira in apology. "Apologies. It is nice to meet you as well." When she lifted her hood head she saw a hydrospanner presented took her, taking it graciously. She had been needing a new one anyway. As Mira decided upon a room and closed the doors behind her, Kr'Naan looked over to Mary, her new hydrospanner leaned against her shoulder. "I like her already. Hopefully she lasts longer than the last one." Chuckling, Kr'Naan poked Mary with her elbow as she turned on her heels to walk back to her own room, a pep in her step as she twirled her newly gifted hydrospanner around. "Or the one before that." Kr'Naan closed the doors to her own room, only for them to open back up momentarily. "Or the one before that." The doors to her room closed and this time remained closed, the sounds of mechanical whirring and banging audible from within.

Not bothering to wait for her passengers, Mary headed up to the cockpit and strapped into the central command chair herself. The view out the wide dome that made up the forward quarter of the cockpit was stunning as always. She never did get tired of seeing all the wonder of the galaxy, after spending the first half of her life in a city, and then the next quarter under it. With a firm nod, Mary pulls back on the sticks and heads to the stars. Half a dozen warnings, alerts, and klaxons began to scream as she more or less stood the ship on its tail and gunned the engines to max. Mary ignored them all, along with the usually bumping, scrapping, thumps, groans and sometimes screams from other parts of the ship.Continue: boards.jedivsith.com/post/158145/thread

Sometime following Mary and Mira's departure from Ossus aboard the Tempest, the personal sekotan starship of the Master Shaper returned to the Springwoods, settling into the region of the forest where the neti resided. Branches extended from the trees, covering the organic ship in a green canopy of leaves, while roots and vines stretched across its surface to embrace the vessel in a sort of symbioses. Protected by the Children of the Forest, the sentient starship entered a period of hibernation, waiting for the day it might awaken to be summoned to the Handmaiden's side once more.
