Tatooine was primarily a desert planet, with scattered mesas, canyons, and buttes. If you were lucky, you might also find an oasis.

A shuttle flew over the sands of Tatooine, having just departed Jabba's palace. It dipped and jerked, flying haphazardly across the dune sea, almost to the point of being construed as reckless. This was hardly intentional however, as the pilot of the vessel was having difficulty seeing over the dashboard. Lil'Bacca, the aptly named one eyed ewok, struggled with the control yoke, standing on his tippy toes as he attempted to look out the viewport. Easier said than done. In the back of the shuttle, three ewoks clung tightly to Kermit the dragon slug, using the heavy toad to anchor them in place.
It was during this ridiculous flight that Lil'Bacca failed to spot a risen sand dune ahead. The nose of the craft dipped just as the ship passed, clipping the top of the dune and causing the ship to plow into the desert. Woks went flying. The ship carved a furrow into the sand half a click long before coming to a stop. As the dust settled, the one eyed ewok fell from his seat and proceeded to kiss the cockpit floor. In the back, groans and ribbets could be heard. Everyone had made it alive, though the shuttle was worse for wear. Scowling, Lil'Bacca grabbed the others and forced open the side hatch. He immedietly regretted the action. It was hot as sin outside, due in part to Tatooine's twin suns.
The Ewoks took the time to converse in their native tongue, quickly orchestrating a plan. No one wanted to be stuck in the desert at night, not if the stories about Krayt dragons were true. In a short period the group had erected an umbrella using the shuttle's tarp, which they held aloft with struts and pipes harvested from the broken ship. They also gathered all the water and food that they had with them. With Kermit in the center under the makeshift sun shield, the group set off into the dune sea, heading in the direction of the Sarlacc pit, though they knew it not.

* After leaving Mos Elia and traveling via Anchead were she grabs a speeder bike and speeds across the sand her black coat trailing behind in the wind. Her cowboy hat staying on her head to the shock of a jawa who was expecting it to fly off her head as she went by . She had a pair of goggles cover her eye as she heads towards the Enclave she had heard of. There was a ridge she could stop at and move in on foot but it would take a few mins to walk to the boarder of the enclave. She would be coming up on the Enclave with the next 5 mins.*

The Resource Extraction Platform falls from the sky like the multi-thousand ton chunk of durasteel it is. The entry shields pushed nearly to the max by the friction of the air, while the repulsor engines keep it from falling to quickly. Once the REP was with 500 meters of the surface, the repulsions kicked into overdrive massively cutting the speed of the platform. Even with that last burst, the REP set down with a rather heavy crunch in the small, newly formed crater. Had anything living been on the REP it would have been decompressed, superheated, & smashed into jelly by the entry maneuver.
After roughly an hour of cooling down, the REP extended a sensor beacon for a detailed scan of the immediate surroundings. Within five minutes of that, the REP had located the optimal location at the site to deploy itself. Lifting itself from the small, now glassy, crater, it maneuvers itself to the wide flat space it had located. Within seconds of settling down, the ugly box like structure expanded outward like an explosion slowed down to reasonable rates. Stability anchors were sunk into the ground are regular points & used to lift the REP to its operational height. Once all the various pieces had locked themselves into place, the REP was nearly unrecognizable from before. It had transformed itself from a twenty by twenty meter box into a massive hexagon over a hundred & fifty meters across, nearly 10 meters thick, & resting nearly 5 meters off the ground on beams.
Once all that was done, the REP sent up the built in Skyhook. Once the cable had reached space, a cable car would travel up & down it carrying the massive cargo pods the REP used. For this first time, the cargo pods would be packed with all the equipment, machinery, technology, crew & supplies that the REP would need. Later, once the REP was fully producing, the pods would send up the resources gathered on the planet, & bring down any crew replacements or supplies that it would need until the next collection date.
Here on Tatooine, the REP would be gathering up extremely fine sand that would be shipped to master artisans around the galaxy for making valuable & fragile blown glass eating-wear or sculptures.

Within the sands of this barren planet with its hostile sands and winds lies countless dens and hideouts for the lawless, hideaways that have sheltered all kinds of beings for millennia. Y'kkara emerges from one such hidden cave, slipping her stun baton back in its holder beneath her arm, and stowing the credits owed her inside a secure pocket. Without so much as a cut on her still young-looking face - ah, how wonderful it was to be an Anzati - she walked toward her speeder with the intent of leaving this useless den, and all of its unconscious denizens, behind.
Nearly an hour ago she had found herself inside, delivering a shipment of glitterstim to the small-time dealers, its Twi'lek leader, Vai Malgath, having promised her a rather large payment for her work. However, upon arrival, the thugs took possession of the shipment, escorted her into their den, and then informed her that she was to become a slave to their group, clearly intent on taking advantage of a lone, 'helpless' human woman who was foolish enough to approach them without a bodyguard. Y'kkara, however, was no mere woman, and certainly no weak human. The moment a pair of Rodians approached her with cuffs, she pulled out both her pistol - ever set to stun - and her stun baton and went to work, reaching into the Luck to aid her movements and give her impressive speed. Quick shots and touches from her baton downed all dozen of the thugs, as the leader stood helpless, fumbling for his blaster.
"Pathetic," she intoned at him in a coy tone, and then downed him with a stun blast too before he could even switch the safety off. Taking a moment to feel the Luck in the den, her hunger wasn't the least bit interested. They were all worthless to her, such weak soup that she had no desire to even bother tasting any of it. She opted to leave them alive, to shame them in their defeat, relieving them of the credits they owed her and nothing more. She was a businesswoman after all, and this was only business. She didn't agree with the changed terms, so to took control of the situation herself. Of course, she was kind enough to drain all of their energy packs completely before leaving, just in case they got any ideas about taking vengeance on her while she tried to leave this wretched dry planet.
Anchorhead was only an hour's speeder trip away, and her ship, the Vitality, awaited her pilot.
Another job done, and now she felt famished. It was time to look for some strong soup...

I ran into the center temple only to find that eight Marauders were already waiting for me. The first one came at me, I dodged the swing of his sword then spun around and sliced off his right arm as he fell to the floor in pain. Three of them came at me, I dodged each swing then spun around gathering the force and released a massive force wave sending the one in fornt of me flying down several meters out the window all the way to the ground. Hopefully Kayden was close enough to see the Marauder fall from that height. The other ones smashed into the walls of the center room, and just when I thought I had won a full broad Sith Warrior walked into the room.
"So your the saber wielding trouble maker that's been destroying my Marauders. Let us see if you can face the full power of the Dark Side!"
He concentrated the force and called upon force bubble, then integrated force lightning and telekinesis. Charging them all to full capacity then released them, sending me flying out the window. But I saved myself by pulling out my grappling hook gun. I aimed and fired it at one of the pillars that was near me, the hook lodged itself into the rocky structure as I swung down to safety. The Sith sighed in annoyance. I pressed a button on the hilt of the gun and the hook unlodged itself from the pillar, then gave him a salute as I ran off.
*Now then.... where are you Kayden. I've got to find you...*
(Kayden/Anven wrote) *Kayden ran from the strange building he had magically found himself in starting to think this adventure was starting to make no sense what so ever and just as he thought things couldn't get any weirder a man in a black cloak came falling out of a window. Honestly for a moment Kayden was speechless because well that was random as ever, you don't see people falling out of windows all the time. When the man hit the floor Kayden ran over to him and looked him over and was surprised to find that it was a sith. Sighing to himself as at least this was starting to make sense as he mumbled a name to himself "Ayren". Thinking he had now found the trouble maker he had been looking for Kayden quickly entered the building he had seen the man fall out of and began to make his way up to where he had seen the black cloak man fall out of the window.*

*Somewhere in the Dune Sea Carmine continues his long trek to Jabba's Palace, though after awhile a thought occurs. One that causes him to come to a complete stop on his speeder bike before readjusting his course in a eastern direction. Kiko notices this and quickly becomes confused, it was to her understanding that Carmine and herself were to go to Jabba's Palace to scout the place out, but this was clearly not the way there. Quickly becoming impatient, she speaks up about her confusion.*
=Kiko= "Just where are we going? I thought we were heading to Jabba's Palace?"
*Not making the slightest change in his currently serious demeanor, Carmine gives a rather brief response.*
=Carmine= "The Ken-shi Force Temple, I'd like to see if someone is home."
*Still somewhat confused about Carmine's current course of action, Kiko decides to remain silent as she feels she will not receive a more informative answer from him.*

Sand everywhere. Suns be damned if he hadn't forgotten how much sand there was. Alex lay prone in the desert, eying through the scope of an Adventurer Slugthrower rifle, watching as several Sand People rode on their Banthas. His HUD automatically zoomed in closer and a reticle appeared, with a small dotted line that accounted for wind and distance. Alex tapped the side of his helmet and all of these marvels of technology disappeared, save for the zoom for the scope. He followed the rear Tusken slowly, aiming ahead and high. Adjusting the knobs on the side of the scope, he took a deep breath and inhaled, and held it, and slowly squeezed the trigger. It took only a moment for the Tusken to clutch his throat and fall to the sandy ground. With several more squeezes of the trigger the rest of the trail of Tuskens fell. A thin smile came across his lips, and he chuckled. At least there was still sport to be had. There was no lack of savages to murder. If he did it enough, he might even become infamous and be given a legend about the armored spirit with a slit for an eye that killed without discrimination or mercy.*
*Alex could dream, right?

The embers to the fire flared, the light reflecting from the slit visor of Alex's helmet. He twitched his neck and a whir or motors as his helmet folded back in on itself, revealing his had to the open air. His face had several scars on it, faded but still visible. His skin was tanned. He cleared his throat and picked up a bladder and downed some water. He stared at the fire for a while before taking hold of the metal rod leaning over the fire, a small baby womprat stuck through from anus to mouth, slow roasting. Alex eyed the morsel for a moment before lifting the rod to his mouth and taking a bite. A lot of fat, considering it was a baby, but it was enough to live off of. At least until his target showed himself.

Xxoxia sat quietly in her Master's command Throne towards the back of the cockpit as she watched Itach continue towards the pilot droids closer to the front. It was an odd sensation to be in such a literal seat of power. Xia traced her fingers over the chair's arm-rests before settling in completely, reminding herself of what her Master had confided in her before leaving the Temple.
The Simic was already airborne before Xia watched Itachi dictate to the droids to change direction. She almost protested, but then was reminded of her Master's words. She decided to kick back and let the man have his way; for the time being.
"Beggar's Canyon?" Xia asked. "Isn't that a little out of the way?" She didn't trust him, not one bit, and the fact that Jud'dayus just allowed Itachi to take his ship. Add to it the fact that the droids seemed to have no problem taking orders from Itachi aided in the young woman's wondering on who and what this man actually was.

Alex heard it the Simic before he saw it. Not unusual, but surprising all the same. A slight change in his position, and he had eyes on the shuttle, heading towards Beggar's Canyon. He smiled. Maybe Itachi and Jud were headed to Itachi's old warehouse? Alex collapsed his Adventurer and slung it onto his back, moving slowly, keeping his concentration mostly on suppressing his presence. When he approached a seemingly open area, the Crusader-class corvette dubbed Te Prudii uncloaked itself. Walking up to the ramp, his helmet folded in on itself, once again revealing his face, only now in the safety of the ship's armor plating and shields. He spoke out loud, to the AI navigation system that the previous owner, Vol Serafi, had put in to pilot for him.
"The Simic is headed towards Beggar's Canyon. Stay stealthy, and stay low. We don't want them to know we're following them just yet..."
A few blips of acknowledgement came from the speakers and the ship's stealth system re-engaged, making it invisible to the naked eye and sensors. Te Prudii took off and followed after the Simic, towards Beggar's Canyon.

Carmine had been seated for awhile now quietly reading over the file that Jud'dayus had left, his eyes displaying a faint sense of growing interest as he did so. According to the dossier, these crystals were Tusken artifacts that contained the souls of the clan who created them. Carmine smiled, it was a foolish attempt to cheat death, an attempt that completely backfired. However, this little back-story is not what interested him, it was the information about their power and potential that caught his eye. Because of their nature, these crystals contained a great deal of Force energy, enough to make anyone who harnessed their power nearly unstoppable. Carmine set the folder down beside him and clasped his hands together in front of his face, a gesture that gave off the impression that he was thinking, which would of course be entirely accurate. Carmine thought to himself, "I'd love to be able to perform tests on such an object, something with this much power holds limitless potential. I will have it." He continued on thinking about this for a few minutes until a few brief words from his current..."traveling companion" broke his train of thought. He gave her little more than a passing glance before replying.
"Indeed it is, that's why I chose to build it there."
His response was brief, if not a bit cryptic, which Carmine had no problem with. He imagined that she would be a little confused on just what it was, but he cared little. As long as he knew where they were going, that was all that mattered. While pondering this, Carmine found his thoughts interrupted again, this time by one of the pilot droids.
T minus twenty minutes until destination is reached.
A brief look of irritation crossed Carmine's face as he glanced toward the cockpit, he hated being interrupted when in deep thought. However, it didn't really matter now, they were soon to arrive at their destination and he'd need to be ready to get up anyway. Carmine smiled and sat back in his seat, giving a look of comfort as the shuttle started to sway back and forth, maneuvering its way through the canyon.

As soon as the Canyon began Te Prudii's AI system had to compensate for the ship's large size. Alex watched the elevation on a screen. He crossed his arms as he eyed the screen. If Alex's hunch was right, Itachi was headed towards his old weapons cache. Te Prudii was too big to follow directly, but going a few thousand feet higher into the air gave a good bird's eye view of the canyon. He readied his approach, picking up his Adventurer rifle, and grabbed a Repulsor pack, strapping himself in. While he could easily slow himself after he jumped, it would alert Itachi and whoever he was with. He could sense another signature, but did not think it was Jud'dayus.* *As Te Prudii came around, the hatch opened and Alex walked up to the edge, Adventurer rifle slung across his chest to not be in the way of the Repulsor pack, and his 434 blaster in a holster at his right hip, so he wouldn't have to cross draw. He also had some thermal detonator tape to breach, as well as some other goodies. He didn't even hesitate as he walked off the edge, activating the repulsor pack, which began to slow he descent. He adjusted his trajectory with his arms, and aimed for the Weapons Cache. With any luck he'd land before Itachi did...* *And it appeared he had a few good minutes. Te Prudii was feeding him real time telemetry on the Simic. Alex had probably three minutes before it arrived, and Itachi and friends would be right on top of him. He didn't miss a beat as he applied the tape to the door, and stepped away, keying the detonator. The door blew wide open, and Alex cleared the opening with his 434 blaster drawn. His HUD compensated for the smoke and sand in the air, and as it all settle he went into action, placing motion activated flash-bang mines at the entrance above the doorway. Being sure to move quickly, Alex made it look like someone had raided the place. He knocked over containers, shot a few rounds off around the room, and grabbed two containers and moved them towards the back, where it would appear they had been taken, where he took cover. He unslung his Adventurer slugthrower rifle and unfolded it, laying it on top of the containers, and turning the targeting laser on, right at the entrance. He slung a tarp over to make it seem like someone to concealing themselves, and took position behind a full stocked shelf.* *He waited.......

The bantha fur draped over his back kept the pests away but not the heat. Packets of bantha meat and urine attached to the fur proved no comfort to his nostrils. The bantha skull on his head blurred his vision. With a herd of bantha surrounding him, listening to the groaning herd drove him near insanity. And thanks to the large canteen of water, his tongue was moist enough taste everything these creatures provided. Feel the bantha. Smell the bantha. See the bantha. Hear the bantha. Taste them.
No matter how much he conserved his energy the past three hours, walking on the Dune Sea was never easy. It was day five of his hunt and he has completely immersed himself as a wild sand cow for five days straight. These creatures aren't the sharpest knives in Tatooine, so masking his presence would not be the problem. His problem was in being hunted and when his predator would show up. In this instance, he was very much the prey, and although a willing one, one mistake could be place him in the jaws of a large krayt dragon. One move would make him the predator yet one slip would solidify his status as prey.
The bantha ahead of him lifted their heads as the man felt a slight motion in the ground. While they walked to a faster pace, he slowed down. He wanted to be a bigger target. The motion on the ground soon became heavier steps by whatever was behind him. Then, it roared with every bad intention it had for the man and the herd. He turned around to meet the creature. He stood shorter than the average male but even if he was, the dragon was large in any case. By his approximation it was a male in its peak, looking out to prove itself presumably. Its yellowish scales meshed well with the sand. It had dark eyes that shone like black pearls and claws resembling the tips of ancient blades. The dragon’s tail was a long whip that swung back and forth, ready to strike. Slowly, the man reached into the front pocket of his vest. It wasn’t large, but it should do the tric- The dragon lunged forward with lightning speed but the man ducked out of the bantha suit(and thankfully, all the contents that went with it) in time. The creature feasted on the remains of his suit while the man waited. And waited. And waited. The creature still stood.
The man looked around. There was nowhere for him to hide or run. Krayt dragons were notoriously fast especially in short distances and the man was lacking in distance between himself and imminent death. He unsheathed his machete as the beast took one last bite. It looked at him and the moment it swallowed it ran straight at his now armed prey. The man did not move. All he needed was a few more seconds.
The explosion from the grenade raptured the dragon’s stomach as it stumbled towards hunter, crashing before the man’s feet. Grenades by default have a set time until they went off. However, they could be dialed for a shorter period. The creature’s sudden attack did not allow for that. The force shattered its lower spine rendering its hind legs and tail useless. The pain sent a shock through the dragon’s body. After a few minutes, moving an inch for the creature would be torture but the hunter was merciful. In one downward thrust to the krayt dragon’s skull, the creature would not have to experience that. He opened his last canteen and drank. The setting sun caught his attention. Aidan Miles could hunt for bantha now, but he would have to wait tomorrow.

Enam's A-wing makes its way through the skies of Tatooine near top speed towards the Ken-Shi Temple. A long time homecoming in the making for the rogue Sith Lord, now stronger than he was when he left. He looks out to the horizon line anxiously for the first sign of the Temple, mentally preparing himself to find and face the one man who's beaten the uncontrolled Sith back more than any other soul. A meeting he's been looking forward to for decades.

We have arrived at the designated coordinates.
That was all that Carmine heard as he removed himself from his thoughts yet again. The past twenty minutes had been quiet, Xia was clearly not very talkative and he had run out of things to talk about. It was quite clear that she had no intention of letting bygones be bygones, which was fine by him as he was never really the type to make friends. Carmine looked over to the door of the shuttle, he could feel the vessel landing and could hardly wait for the exit to become available, the atmosphere in the ship had become....stale. Getting up from his seat, The young-looking man made his way over to the exit, and as if it could sense his intentions, the door opened as he approached it. Carmine continued out, not wasting any time in leaving the shuttle except to let his eyes adjust to the desert sunlight when he was already out of the ship. When his eyes finally adjusted, he briefly looked around at the area he was in, making note that this section of Beggar's Canyon had changed little over the years, it was still just a rocky little dead end somewhere in the heart of the canyon. After looking around for a moment more, Carmine made his way around the ship, coming face to face with the most unsettling thing he had seen all day; the remains of the weapons cache's entrance. From what he could see, someone had blown the doors open using some sort of high grade explosives, and on the inside crates looked like they were missing. It seemed as though someone had found his weapon's cache and looted it, but that was just it, it seemed like that. The usually very arrogant Sith narrowed his eyes, the truth was that no one could've found this place, not easily anyway. Carmine chose this place for a weapons cache because it was located deep within the canyon, normal people would get lost long before they made it here. On top of that, the doors had been camouflaged to look like part of the canyon wall, no one would have found them unless they knew what they were looking for. Carmine looked into the debris-filled room for a few more seconds before walking back to the rear of the shuttle, he needed to think about his next move, he needed to check the inside of the storage room to see what had been taken. However, something seemed off, his gut told him that this was more than a mere looting. He began to slowly pace in a circle, and as he did so his foot bumped into a small pile of rocks. Carmine stopped and looked down at them, a smile slowly forming on his face as he did so. A few moments later, Carmine's Force presence increased as he walked out from behind the Simic to make his way toward the now blown-open doorway. As he approached he began to slow his pace, silently looking around as he started to make his way through the entrance. Almost instantaneously, the flashbangs above the doorway went off, blinding and disorienting Carmine. He fell to the ground, hands covering his eyes as his face twisted in pain. He could only guess at what was about to happen.

Xxoxia watched as Itachi took the lead, sighing slightly before getting off the command throne and following behind the man.
Just before leaving the cockpit Xia looked back. "Keep the Simic prepped for flight..." She looked back towards Itachi as he exited the ship completely. "I'd like to get out of here quickly... understood?" The droids just chimed an acknowledgement tone to Xia as she left, walking down the landing ramp and into the sweltering heat of the canyon.
"Carmine, where'd you go?" She asked, as her eyes adjusted to the almost blinding light, finally seeing the man as he paced around. "Well, why'd y-." Xia stopped, seeing the slightly smoldering hatchway cut into the canyon surface. She instinctively bladed her body towards the hatch, and called both her sabers to life. Xia's eyes narrowed, swiftly scanning the area, taking in the scene of what seemed to be a destroyed bunker. "I suggest we-." Xia stated to Itachi as she still scanned the area, but when she looked back to where he'd been he was gone. Carmine was now almost in the doorway, and before Xia could call to him, it happened.
Even though Xxoxia was yards away, the flash-bangs still caused her to shield her eyes. "Carmine!!!" Xia yelled, while blinking her eyes furiously to readjust to her surroundings. Xia shook her head as she went into a sprint towards the detonations; her saber's at the ready.

Alex smiled as the flash-bang mines went off, but he did not rush to hold the Sith at gunpoint. He was too smart for that. Instead he turned the volume on his external speakers all the way up, and turned on his voice modulator, making his voice higher in pitch, as well as giving it a Corellian accent. It would sound as if he was yelling from the back, but in fact he was right behind a shelf on the other side ready to flank Itachi.
"Stand up slowly with your hands above your head! You will not be harmed so long as you cooperate!"
Alex cut his external speakers just before he chuckled.

Time to move. There was little else on Carmine's mind at this point other than finding out just who had the audacity to break into one of his weapons caches. Still, he needed a back up plan and he would have one. Suddenly, the Carmine currently on the floor of the weapons cache disappeared with nothing but rocks falling to the ground in his place. The real Carmine then stepped forward from beside the Simic, with something falling from his robe as he did so. The Sith continued walking right by the currently distracted Xia and without so much as a word, he quickly drew one of his WESTAR-34 blaster pistols and fired off a few rounds toward the back of the exposed bunker. Weapon still in hand, Carmine spoke up in an unusually serious tone.
"I don't know who you think you are, but let's end this little charade. There were only two or three people who knew about this place, no one else could've found it, not unless they knew it was here. So tell me, who are you?"
Carmine stared into the darkened room in front of him waiting for a reply, he smiled knowing that he would have one all too soon.

When Itachi moved up and started firing, Alex kept his smile on. He stepped up from the left, flanking Itachi with his 434 blaster up and aimed at the back of Itachi's torso. Alex turned off his modulator and let a chuckle go through his external speakers.
"I'm just a poor little merc looking for a head to put on a silver platter."
At any move from Xxoxia would cause Alex to raise his other hand, which held another 434 blaster, now aimed at her.
"I was expecting the Old Man but I guess I can live with his newest pet."
