Staed fumbled with his hands a bit, a nervous tick to be exact, as he continued to listen to the Tusken before him. Jawas were anything but laid back, so his twitchy mannerisms weren't far from normal for the man to see. When the Tusken came to "Many of his kind are jealous of his abilities" a slight smirk crept over Staed's face.
"Lu, heba cha no batya." Well, I can't deny that.
Staed immediately cupped his hands to his big mouth, and gave the hover droid a glare. He'd forgotten he'd left the thing on. Oh well, it didn't seem like the Tusken wanted to kill him anyways. Plus there was talk of items to tinker with.
"Ik'm Staed... Buska na to wuha'ya Ikee bus'k oo hano, erboska no erra... Ia chany a ba yo'la'bah che delosk, oo i'bacha." I'm Staed... Sorry to mislead you, but I wasn't sure who you were, or who you were from... It isn't often I have a price put on my head, but it has happened.

Kar'Orzh bowed his head in greeting, now that he knew the Jawa's true name. He did not take offense at the Jawa's insincerity. He did not expect this one Jawa to be any more straightforward than any of the others he had worked with.
=Kar'Orzh= "I am called Kar'Orzh'R'Crurak, Chief Tusken Engineer for the R'Crurak clan. I am lucky to have found you as fast as I did, Staed."
Kar'Orzh moved around to the other side of Staed as someone else entered the Station, so as to conceal his mask from the settlers. He pulled his hood up more, to make sure his true identity was not found out.
=Kar'Orzh= "It is not very safe for me to linger here. Nor can I give you full details until I know that you are committed to our cause. Do you think you are capable for helping us achieve our goals, Staed? A ship is no small task to build."

"Cha bitta no ma..." Staed replied, as he cocked his head to the side and stared at the Tusken's final proposal. That's quite a long name...
"Ikee'a ashuna..." The Jawa began, picking up his dropped tools. "Ut ikee medda no ba tota ne reve y keeza Kurruzza'sa." Staed pointed to a small duct opening before continuing. I'll Go... But I need to get my other tools for ship and weapon repairs.
"Ukee'a saya me habotto.... ja is'ko he." Staed stated as he put his pack over his shoulder and made his way into the duct opening, waving the Tusken to follow. You'll have to follow me... watch your head.

Kar'Orzh did not reply to Staed when the Jawa commented about the length of his name. He knew many other Tuskens with far longer names. It all depended on the clan, or tribe, and how they passed on their names. His name was his own, his father's, and his clan's. There were other Tuskens who carried on several generations' names along with their own. Thinking it might be a bit difficult for the Jawa to remember, he then spoke as he began to follow Staed through the duct, being careful not to get his robe snagged, or bump his head.
=Kar'Orzh= "If it would be easier for you to remember, you may call me Kar. Several of the Jawas working with the R'Crurak shorten our names. It is usually easier for other races to remember than our full name..."
Kar'Orzh huffed a bit as he crouched down even more. He was not as young as he used to be, and his knees creaked a bit as he followed the Jawa.
=Kar'Orzh= "May I ask why we do not simply use the door?"

"Nocha da Orr'h me ba no." Staed answered, as he scurried through the conduit corridor. He came shortly to a sealed hatch and input a code. Because, there are no doors to my home.
"Chita me ba dosha, esco untinni." I'll be out in a minute with me tools, horray.

Kar'Orzh continued to follow the Jawa Staed through the small vent-like entrance to his home. He huffed a bit as his knees creaked when he moved. Was it his imagination or was the vent shrinking? Finally the Jawa stopped ata hatch of some sort, and input a code at a keypad.
=Kar'Orzh= "I only have the one speeder, and the second seat had to be welded to it, so I suggest traveling light, unless you want the welds to break."
Since they had stopped, Kar'Orzh decided to shift his position into something a tad bit less painful, moving to a sitting position.

Once clearing through the barely manageable hatch Kar'Orzh would be able to discern that they were underneath the station. Basically right under the landing platforms; ships of every shape, size and model were right above their heads. Staed waved Kar'Orzh to follow him, before scurrying into the dim of the subterranean dwelling. With a couple of clicks and a large spark, streams of hanging lights sprung to life illuminating Staed's residence.
It wasn't anything special; a cot made of old oily rags to one side and a series of piles, or what seemed like scrap, junk, and other odds and ends were littered about. It didn't seem to make sense, there didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the piles; though Staed was searching through one now. He was frantically tossing biros, spindles of wire and cogs around. Finally he seemed to grasp what he was looking for an gave out an 'Untinni', before clambering over a pile of droid parts towards Kar'Orzh with another knapsack in his arms. It - the sack - was Staed's prized possessions; his tools. Sure the Jawa had plenty of tools laying about, but these were his favorite, they were his "lucky" tools...
"Ikee cha Kurruzza nytcha'o. Ikee cha no'habta tichata be boba tinina. Ika uke'tini?" Staed said giddily. I could repair anything now. I could even make more room on your speeder. If you'd like?

Barely having a minute to rest his aching back and creaking knees from the lack of space in the passage to Staed home, Kar'Orzh huffed as he had to put himself back into a position he could move forward. He looked up and saw the ships above them. If the R'Crurak could get their hands on just one working ship it would jump start their efforts to travel the stars. He wondered how many offoworlders were currently on Tatooine, and then how many ships that would mean are on the planet. The number was too large for him to comprehend.
=Kar'Orzh= "So you live beneath all of this? All these ships?"
Kar'Orzh looked up again, gazing at the ships from beneath through a small grate.
=Kar'Orzh= "It is amazing that so much is wasted by them..."
Kar'Orzh followed Staed to his makeshift home and wondered when the last time the Jawa had stayed around people instead of parts and machines was. Nevertheless, if he was as good as his former clansmen said he was, he was valuable to their cause.
=Kar'Orzh= "That's not what I meant. I meant you should travel light. We will be going through enemy territory to get back to the Enclave, and a few extra pounds could mean escape or death. We can come back for anything you need later. Though, we should be able to get anything you need..."

Staed gave Kar an "Untinni" in response to the question. He loved the rumble of the engines, the thrum of the retros and even the odd ozone tang of the generator coils. Since his banishment and consequential excommunication from his clan. He'd called this hovel his home. Staed unconsciously started to count on his finger. "Kisewa... no'yoa?" The Jawa mouthed, his droid not translating what was said. Staed stood in qiute contemplation. He'd been here now for nearly a decade. Nearly ten seasons since he last saw his clan. The thought held him for a short time before he heard Kar continue. "Cho chutta, habba?" Staed countered immediately, only the slightest tinge of what could be agitation in his inflection. Waste, what waste? Staed shook his head, and produced a modified E-11 from one of his rook-sacks. The blaster looked like it had seen its days of battle, or just neglect. It's muzzle had been welded and composite with something that looked like a siv. As for the rest of the blaster, it seemed that only bits of string, and haphazardly placed screws and bolts held the thing together. Tough Kar couldn't see it, the little Jawa was beaming under his hood, at his most dubiest creation.
"Nyeta, e'chatt o het. Et keeza cha e bo hunya'yatat." The Jawa replied, holding the blaster rifle that was nearly as big as he was tall. No, I'm packed to go now. With this weapon we'll be fine against enemies.

Kar'Orzh shook his head. The language barrier was always a problem with inter-species communication. Certain meanings behind words didn't translate well. He knew when it came to large, flying, mechanical devices, a Jawa would be unable to see much other than the amount of credits he could make off of it.
=Kar'Orzh= "I meant that the technology is wasted on many of these Outsiders. They take for granted what we, both Jawas and Tuskens, have to scrounge, fight, and barter for. Few deserve the privilege to travel amongst the stars..."
Kar'Orzh shook his head again. Looking up at the Jawa, who had materialized a blaster, he tilted his head in wonder at what exactly was holding the blaster together, let alone how the diminutive Staed would be able to use it proficiently in combat. Still, Jawas had a way with technology, and Kar'Orzh had learned to trust their abilities more than most others of his kind. He would not be surprised if the blaster could disintegrate an entire battalion with a single shot. He looked back up as the roof vibrated. Somewhere a ship was taking off, leaving the planet of Tatooine behind to go into space. For a moment he was filled with the passion of his mission, to bring his clan to the stars, and his passion got the better of him as he spoke.
=Kar'Orzh= "Have you ever been on another planet, Staed?"

Few deserve the privilege to travel amongst the stars..." Staed looked up to the docking bays above with new eyes. He'd never thought of others not having the right to travel to stars, or of how he was one not to question why he couldn't. He supposed it was bred into him, a primordial instinct handed down through the eons of his species. The instinct to not travel the stars. "Nyeta..." He replied, still looking up through the grating. No....
"Itch Ikee'ho'la nah chat, no'hab lopima'sa..." But I've always wondered about them, and the stars...

Kar'Orzh felt a moment of kinship with the the Jawa.
=Kar'Orzzh= "That wonder is why we are trying to make our first steps back into space since the Kumumgah spread out, and were cast down by the Rakatan demons. We belong up there, among the other races, but we have been stuck in our own ways for thousands of years. It needs to end. A new era will begin, and we will be greater than ever before."
Kar'Orzh felt like he sounded just like one of the R'Crurak Councilors there, for a moment.
=Kar'Orzh= "That is why we need the help of you, Staed. While we Tuskens know a fair bit about Outsider technology, none of us have the talent turn a chunk of metal into a hovercraft. Your people are gifted, and always have been. We both have been ignored and cast aside by Outsiders as lesser beings. We need to show them what we are capable of when we work together, and both reap the benefits."

Staed listened, but he understood little about the Tusken's history. Kumumgah, Rakatan demons... They held little meaning to him. He knew stories, legends and myths passed down through the ages, but paid them little mind. He'd always thought of such tales as pure hubris, something for his clan, his people to hold onto. Something for them to cling to in order to give them a purpose on this barren world.
But now it seemed that the Tusken's had the same beliefs, or at least Kar did.
"Osi... Ukee'ad n lopima'ha. Ehuta'ya uho bom'yatt y'ing?" Stead said as he looked towards Kar. So... We're going to the Stars then. That's your plan isn't it?

Kar'Orzh nodded. He was given the impression that Staed was unimpressed by the stories of the ancients. Still, it was not his job to push his beliefs onto others. His job was securing a future for the Tusken people in the advanced area of spaceflight.
=Kar'Orzh= "Yes. We have already begun construction on a ship. It will not be the most advanced vessel ever to fly, but it will be sturdy and reliable. We are missing only a few critical pieces. It is difficult to find a working hyperdrive and shield generators out in the wrecks of old starship crash sites."
Kar'Orzh began to turn around, preparing to leave the Jawa's home, and go back to his speeder to take Staed to the Enclave.
=Kar'Orzh= "Few are willing to part with such technology willingly, or for reasonable prices, especially to the likes of Tuskens."

As Kar readied to make his way out of Staed's hovel, the Jawa looked back at his "neat" piles. A sort of anxiousness took hold of him for a moment. His heart fluttered and his little hands trembled slightly has he held his E-11. He was leaving, leaving his home... It was almost the same feeling he had, all those years ago when he'd been run out of his own clan. He was left in the wastes, with only himself, a canteen of water, and a hunter's knife. And though he had his tools with him now, he still had a feeling of being vulnerable.
He had been half listening to Kar, when the Tusken mentioned ships, and hyperdrives, and how acquiring them would be "difficult" at best. Staed just stared up at the ships above them and in a small voice said.
"UKree un'lata hak'ka ifta cha dooka. Naboba cho'n reve'ska..." We really don;t need to look for trash. We've plenty of ships here...

Kar'Orzh visible hesitated when the Jawa suggested stealing a ship. Sure they could, but would the consequences be worth it? What would even be the consequences?
=Kar'Orzh= "You are suggesting we steal a ship? Surely we would get caught? Have you ever done such a thing before, ever considered it?"
Kar'Orzh paused for a moment, considering it himself. If they could get a working ship back to the Enclave, they could complete their construction efforts in days, not months.
=Kar'Orzh= "Do you have a plan, Staed?"

"Ibana cha'm'tuske." Staed stated bluntly, as if he couldn't understand the Tusken's aversion to the proposition. Yes we're going to steal.
"Ett ochutta'bo?" Staed replied with a rodent like chitter of a laugh. "Ikee'cha ochut'nadda bo bagot'a no Karr'o. It'cha to to'talichuta, Ik'to tata. Ukee u'ja ekuu'ke, Ike'a cho ki'la." Get ourselves caught? I've never been caught Kar. This is my domain, my specialty. You just tell me what you need, I'll to the rest.
When Kar asked what his plan was, the Jawa just started to walk underneath the docked ships. He darted back and forth, from craft to craft, before coming back to the Tusken. "Oda ukee do'dara e soot'a, en no'hooda... o'batta do co'soot cha ba badda de'no'hooda?" Do you need something fast and light... or something fast and heavy?

Kar'Orzh crossed his arms, weighing the possible outcomes of this situation in his mind. At best, they could get away with a new craft, bring it back to the Enclave, and be rewarded for their work, yet still chastised for stealing. At worst, they would be caught, sought after by a mob of angry violent Outsiders, and killed. He was hoping for the first one, but he would not count his Dewbacks beore they hatched.
Kar'Orzh thought of the two options Staed had given him. Obviously fast was a constant with any ship, but the difference between light and heavy could be extreme. He would go with the latter.
=Kar'Orzh= "Fast and heavy. We need a ship that is sufficiently armored, especially given the fact we have enemies."

"Otka." Staed said with a curt nod. "Ikee cho'dat no'k revve'ch sooto, ut cha'chot nes so'hok." Ok. I know where we can find something liek that, but not in this bay.
Staed stowed his E-11 and started off, taking a left down the conduit corridor that had been in. When he realized that Kar wasn't following he popped his head around the bend he just scampered behind.
"Ukee bhanin o'padda?" You coming or not?

Kar'Orzh was amazed at himself for going along with this half-baked scheme of stealing a ship. It went against many moral standards he held himself to, but in both the long term and short term it could prove most beneficial. As he had said himself, the technology was wasted on these Outsiders. He watched as Staed began to head off. Kar'Orzh began adjusting himself to move forward. When the Jawa came back and spoke to hurry him along, Kar'Orzh nodded and began followed Staed.
=Kar'Orzh= "Yes. though these knees are not as sturdy as they used to be. All this crouching and bending definitely won't help the joints."
Followed Staed, Kar'Orzh could not help but ask the question that was stirring in his mind.
=Kar'Orzh= "So what kind of ship is it?"
