*Telarial notices a gungan enter the establishment and tenses when he sets his gaze on her. She watches him boldly walk up to her table. Telarial appears indifferent when he sits across from her. While it usually unnerved her that her sight was obscured and that she could no longer see the front door due to the gungan's larger frame, She had the feeling she was among friends. Unless this particular gungan wanted to stir up trouble. She was sure the bartender wouldn't mind if she bounced him out should the occasion call for it. She sits silently for minutes, staring at the newcomer through her T-slit visor and waits for him to speak*

So the first move went unanswered. What a dullard; or perhaps she was simply tired. Oh well, my ti'haar had arrived, so I remove my buy'ce, revealing olive skin, eye stalks and long ears that distinguished my species from so many other humanoids. I sipped the sweet drink, and then spoke at last to the woman before me, my green eyes looking directly at her visor and the eyes I knew rested behind them.
Su'cuy gar vod.*
*Hello (lit: You're still alive.)

*Telarial leans back in her seat casually and regards his words. She was ashamed to admit her Mando'a was rusty. She'd been away from home longer than she wished. But she had to make a living. Fortunately she did recognize what the gungan said and replied both in Mando'a and basic. Her tone was nonchalant but respectful.*
"Elek. I am. Tion'ad cuyir gar?"
*Yes I am. Who are you?*

Well, that wasn't the usual response, but then it wasn't wrong either, so NCO rolled with it, after enjoying another sip of ti'haar. He noticed her shift and posture, and took it mean she was relaxing, or trying to. Her use of both basic and Mando'a, told him things would be simpler if he switched to basic, so he did.
Depends on who you ask, most call me Non, Non-Com, NC or NCO. You may use any of those to suit your needs. I'm of the D'ordinii clan, a sub branch of the Or'dinii. What should I call you?

*Telarial's sensors within her helmet scanned the gungan's bio-signs and when she was satisfied that he was not a threat, she reluctantly took her battle helmet off to reveal a somber, haggard looking face. Her skin was tan but fair which she supposed could surprise just about anyone since she constantly wore her battle armor and spent a good deal of her time planet hopping from system to system to track down bounties. It didn't look like she'd slept in days and her short cropped brown hair was probably standing on end. Not that she cared at this point. The last job had been quite taxing on both body and mind. Her soft brown eyes looked haunted. Like she'd seen unimaginable things. Terrible things. Her facial expression apart from looking tired also appeared mildly curious.*
"You can call me Telarial. I can see by your gear that you are no ordinary gungan, NCO. What brought you here to Mandalore? If you don't mind me asking..."

I continue to enjoy my Ti'haar, glancing over towards A'den, to be sure he's not getting conned. Paranoia is hard to ditch, He's clearly in good hands, for now, so I turn back to Telarial. I notice with mild amusement her disheveled appearance, but then dismiss it to look into the tired brown eyes. They held a weariness he was all to familiar with, though the spark of curiosity glimmered in them yet. I grin, good, as long curiosity survived the soul wasn't dead yet.
"Telarial huh? Nope, I haven't been that for ... longer than most care to remember. As for my reason for being here, originally it was for some simple R&R. Then I bumped into yonder lad, and took him for a hunt. I may have gotten a little carried away and left him behind at some point. I'm used to working alone, and I only found him earlier today, so it took me far to long to notice his absence. I'm just glad he made it back okay, though I haven't the slightest idea how to make it up to him. You wouldn't happen to have a kid or two stashed somewhere, would you?"
NCO was extremely new to the role of buir, having less half a day on the clock so far, but... he'd managed to botch it already. No surprise really, given his family growing up, hint: effectively non-existent. Still, he'd hoped to do much better than he had. It was a realization that was probably going to occur far to frequently in the coming months.

*At hearing his words concerning the boy she deeply frowned and barely kept her anger in check.*
"You better be careful who you share that information with. It is dishonorable to abandon a child in th wilds. Especially a young Mandalorian boy. Many of us live by the motto that family is more than blood. We look after our own.
*Telarial finally relaxed and waved the server over. Her next meal was long overdue if her growling stomach was anything to go by. She ordered a Corellian whisky and a bantha burger with fries. As she patiently waited foe her food to arrive she was more than happy to continue the conversation with NCO.*
"Always a pleasure to meet a fellow colleague. No, I do not have any juveniles detained. The last kid I've seen was a bounty of mine about 3 months ago. It was a generous reward, very lucrative. I rescued and returned a kidnapped Rodian child to his wealthy, Political family. Sorry I can't be of further help. I am hoping you can help me..."
*Telarial pulled a tiny holo-disk from her pocket and a small hologram appeared. It was of a young Mando boy. According to the date of the photo, it was 10 years old. When she looked NCO Straight in the eyes, she looked hopeful and slightly desperate.*
"Have you see this boy during your travels? His name is Adonias..."
*Telarial's eyes and throat began to betray her grief. She spoke her next few words softly*
"He was kidnapped 10 years ago by raiders. He is my twin brother. Many have told me to accept the fact that he may now be long dead but I've never stopped searching for him."

Well, it wasn't like I'd intentionally ditched the kid. Besides, it's your very point that assured me that wherever he was he'd be in good hands. This world had many things and beings that called it home, and most of them were rightly considered dangerous by the galaxy at large. But it was also a cultural heart of a people that had never been conquered, not in spirit. But she moved on after ordering a meal, so I remained silent.
Her lack of offspring left me little hope for improving my odds of being a decent buir in the near future, but then I hadn't been all that hopeful to begin with anyway. An old habit of mine, not daring to hope. I focus on the small hologram for a moment, studying it in detail. I see the chrono stamp and realize that the boy might have walked past me today and I wouldn't have noticed him. Still I study the face a moment more, before denying having met or seen the being in question.
I have not. But that may not be ill news, for I'm only recently back from having spent almost two decades in the unknown regions, fighting to defend my clans holdings there. If he yet lives, he's very likely in the known galaxy. If you like I can point you a colleague who's quite adept at finding things long since thought lost.

*Her facial features softened*
"Forgive me for jumping to conclusions. I can see in your eyes your wish to make amends with the boy. I know a thing or two about that if you want any tips.*
She cracked a small smile and kept the fact she had briefly used the force to gauge what NCO had been thinking and feeling a moment ago. She couldn't let NCO know about her special gift. Only a select few were privy to that knowledge. She took a few bites of her food and sipped her whisky and inclined her head gratefully at NCO's offer to point her in the right direction*
"That would be greatly appreciated. Although I'm sure my personal matters may have to wait. I've heard rumor that Mandalore is going to war. My first and foremost duty is to my people."

Were it not for the fact that he is trying to impress a lovely flame haired lass, Lorcan might have left the young Mandalorian to his own devices, but as he figures playing the part of a total white hat might help his efforts to get to know the red head a bit better, he excuses himself and strides over to where A'den has all but collapsed, nodding a silent greeting towards a female Mandalorian he spots seated in corner and appearing to be watching things silently.
Offering the fallen lad a hand, Lorcan, a thirty seven year old human male standing at 5'11 and armored in blue beskar'gam, smiles his most charming smile as he checks to see that the red head is watching and catches her eye as he tells A'den in Mando'a, "Let me give you a hand there little buddy, and then helps him to his feet. Making sure the lad is steady, Lorcan bends down to retrieve the rifle that was dropped, and then helps A'den to the bench where he and his red head have been sitting and chatting. Gar shuk meh kyrayc *, Lorcan jokes as he pats the lad on the shoulder once he has helped him sit, and then, motioning for the redhead to get the lad some water to drink, asks A'den, Me'bana, ad'ika? **"
* You're no use dead
** What happened, lad? A'den gladly accepts the hand up.Vor entye. Ni nu partayli. Ni ru oya'kari ti Ner'buir bal te brojor tome'tayl Ni partaylir, ne'tra. (Thank you. I do not remember. *Telarial notices A'den'ade glancing in NCO's direction and smiles softly at him. She turns to look at NCO who is sitting across from her and turns serious.*
"It looks like your young charge is waiting for you. If you want to make it up to him, try giving him a sweet or begin teaching him to ride a speeder bike if he doesn't already know how. It's been a pleasure meeting you NCO. When you have the time, ,please transmit the lead you have for me on my data-pad. Ret'urcye mhi""
*The young Mandalore woman finishes her food and pays for it. She puts on her battle helmet and leaves the 'baat.*

A'den gladly accepts the hand up.Vor entye. Ni nu partayli. Ni ru oya'kari ti Ner'buir bal te brojor tome'tayl Ni partaylir, ne'tra. . . Ner'buir cuyi olar. Lorcan nods when A'den explains what had happened to him, and then had looked to see the lad's buir when A'den had pointed him out. That the lad does not remember what had happened seems a bit distressing, but Lorcan sees no overt signs of injury or evidence of concussion or head trauma, so decides that it is probably safe to relax where concerns for the boy's health are concerned. The fact that A'den's buir is present is also something of a relief to Lorcan, who, while he would have no reservations whatsoever about looking after a fellow Mandalorian in need, would much rather devote his time to the comely red haired lass he has been trying to impress.
"Well, Lorcan says to A'den in Mando'a after tipping a wink to his flame haired female companion, not entirely sure how best to interact with one so young but determined to seem as though he is comfortable all the same in hopes that he can impress the red head, I'm sure your buir will be proud of you for having made it safely back here on your own. Well done lad! Leaning back in the booth and resting an arm around the red head's shoulders, Lorcan says, I'm Lorcan, and this lovely lass here is Caoimhe."
"Nice to meet you, Caoimhe says with a smile, pausing to allow A'den to introduce himself if he feels so inclined before asking, Should we invite your buir over to join us?"

A'den remove his buy'ce and nodded at each as they were introduced. The youthful 10 year old smiled at the two as he nodded.
Jate'urcye gar. Ner gai A'den'ade. Ni cuyi guuror A'den.
(Good to meet you. I am A'den'ade. I am fond of A'den.)
A'den looked over at NCO.
Ni liniba slanar at kaysh.
(I need to go to him.)
A'den again nodded at each of them and then headed over to NCO.
Tion ru bana, buir?
(What happened father?)

NCO sits quietly mulling over the sudden departure of his conversational partner. He makes a note to see if his contact is willing to do a side job for him, and then tries to ignore the itch in his neck, that tells him someone is watching him. It'd proved a useful little itch, if highly unreliable, but he didn't need it to hear the conversation A'den was wrapping up with his new friends. NCO could the male found the female rather attractive, but NCO couldn't say why. Still, that wasn't his business.
As A'den approached, NCO motioned for him to take the vacant seat, and considered how to say that he wasn't really sure what had happened. With a slight shrug of his right shoulder, NCO decides to just say as much, in basic for some reason.
Kriff if I know, kid. You and the Ordo were with me one moment, the next, I'm checking six and neither of you are in sight, or sensor range, when I got my HUD running again. My appologies, I let myself get lost in the hunt, and forgot that you weren't the vode I'd been hunting with beyond the known universe. You should count that as praise, since they're a tougher bunch than most of this lot.

A'den sat in the vacant seat.
I'm just glad to have found you. How did I do, for my first hunt?

"K'oyacyi! Lorcan tells A'den, sketching a salute of farewell as the lad departs to see his buir. Reaching for his drink, he tells Caoimhe, Copikla ad'ika." Caoimhe agrees, her smile making Lorcan fairly certain that his evening will end well, but before he has a chance to decide how to proceed with his campaign to maneuver things along further his comlink pings to alert him to an incoming transmission.
After reluctantly excusing himself to take the comm, Lorcan is a bit more grim when he sets his comlink down before, having learned from his brother that the time has come for their deployment to Agamar, informing Caoimhe that he has to depart all but immediately. With a lop-sided grin, figuring that his brother can wait a bit if his ploy works, Lorcan tells the flame haired lass that he is leaving for a battle that, like all battles, might be his last, and gets as far as saying that "it would be a shame if he were to fall in battle without" before Caoimhe, laughing as she correctly guesses where Lorcan is headed, tells him to "dream on". Accepting defeat graciously, Lorcan grins with a shrug of his shoulder, and after promising to seek her out should he return, finishes the last of his drink before lifting his buy'ce onto his head and departing with a determined stride, bound for the spaceport where his brother will be waiting.

"You did quite well A'den. You kept your wits, your weapon and your life intact. That is always a good hunt, though begging a few trophies is nice too, which you also did, and neatly at that." I'm not really sure what to say next, but feel like I should say something. After a few moments hesitation, I ask if he was hungry after the afternoon's stimulating activities. "Are you hungry?"
NCO wasn't certain where to head off too next, though he suspected at some point he should show him the clan home on Etti IV. Then there was the mobilization of the various clans, to help with the current struggle in galactic politics. NCO was certain that D'ordinii would favor the Order for now, if only because of the many similarities between the two, though... fundamental clashes would keep them from getting to close. Perhaps it'd be interesting to observe a few of the early skirmishes and perhaps fit a lesson or two on tactics to the young man. Or ... perhaps something a little more hands on.

A tired Mavia slipped into the tavern. Part of her hoped for a quiet drink but another, larger part of her craved the ferocious atmosphere the Oyu'baat often created. She rubbed her sore, green eyes and took a seat at the bar.
"Your strongest, please."
Mavia waved her hand to gain the bartender's attention, and then pointed to a tall bottle of rich golden liquid hidden amongst the clear bottles of alcohol. There was a brief nod from the bartender followed by the clatter of glasses, the seemingly dull and distant pouting of liquid and then the placing of the glass in front of her. He went to place the bottle back on the shelf when she leaned over and plucked it from his hand. She smiled half-heartedly at his protests. The barman shook his head and left her with both the bottle.

*The doors to the Oyu'baat flew open as a kid about thirteen darted into the room. He looked panicked, his clothes disheveled and his right eye was black and blue. With barely a moments pause, he made for the bar to hide. He didn't make it far though. Half a step behind him was a girl, a year younger and half his size came flying through the door. Her lip and nose were both bloody, but her steel Grey eyes burning with anger. The boy almost made it to safety, but was tackled from behind. Both him and the younger girl slammed into the side of the bar, barely missing the barstool Mavia was sitting on. The girl was first to recover from the collision and was on the attack in an instant. She knocked the boy onto his back, pinning him to the ground and started throwing punches. Luckily for the older boy, the girl wasn't wearing her beskar'gam gauntlets, that and the bartender was there in an instant.*
"Knock it off the both off you!" *Reaching down he grabbed both of them and pulled them apart.* "What's wrong with you two?"
*The boy backed a few feet away incase the girl got out of the bartenders grasp.*"She's crazy!"
*The anger still burned brightly in the girls eyes but she made no move to go after the boy.* "He was beating up one of my friends, so I returned the favor."
"Enough!" *The bartender yelled before the two could start arguing. He pointed at the boy.* "I don't know who you are, or if what she says is true, but don't go starting fights for no good reason. Especially with someone as wild as her. Now get going home, I don't want to see you around here if I don't have to." *The boy didn't need to be told twice, and disappeared out the door in a hurry. The bartenders gaze turned to the girl and he pointed at the empty barstool beside Mavia's.* "Sit. Don't start thinking your getting out of this as easily as he did Raine, I know exactly who you belong to."
*Raine sat down on the barstool as the bartender rounded the bar and began looking for his com link to contact Faelan. She started to clean the blood from her lip and nose, all the while mumbling about how much trouble she was going to be in. This wasn't he first fight this week, and at this rate it probably wasn't her last.*

Mavia, still slightly surprised by the viciousness of the young girl, looked across at her then to the bartender and back again. She had been in her fair share of fights at that age too; mostly the result of losing her temper rather than acting on someone else’s behalf. She shook her head at the distant memory, filled her glass then downed the contents. She couldn’t help but cast another sideways glance at the girl; it was only then she noticed that she had missed a small patch of blood on her face.
“You missed a bit” she gestured in the general direction with a wave of her hand, then turned back to her drink, steadily filling the glass. She didn’t bother to make small talk; the girl seemed like she could snap at any time. Mavia wasn’t afraid of a confrontation, especially with a teen but she hadn’t come home for that. In fact, she wasn’t sure why she was there but the potency of the drink made the real reason seem null and void anyway.
