Just as Medleyn pointed far off in the distance, a report came through from one of the units stationed over there. It seemed that some Imperial Knight, or the like, was trying to stage some sort of trap. Mere coincidence, he thought to himself, that she should point out something his men were already unwary of in that same direction. Besides, it was no great skill to be able to smell a trap as fishy as that one. It was just then, that the bombardments upon the shield began. It seemed that the enemy was knocking at their front door finally. Well, that was that, he decided as he turned to one of the comm officers
"Right, anyone not within the city limits now should be shot on sight. If they are allies, than better to end their suffering, than to lower the shield and lose the city. If they are enemies, than that is one less saboteur to concern ourselves with..."
The comms officer gave a curt nod in response to the General's command
"Yes sir! Relaying your orders to all units now"
The General then turned his attention back upon Medleyn. There was a look within his eyes telling her that their time to sit around talking was over
"I assure you, I've been fighting Sith since long before you were out of diapers. Me and my men aren't so easily caught unaware. Now, if you really wish to prove yourself useful, then I suggest you saddle up and take the eighty fourth platoon with you to make a stand. The Imperials are knocking on our door, and I do not like surprise guests..."
The time for idle discussion was over. Now was the time for action, and he would need plenty of it, if he hoped to hold this place against the Imperial Legions. Their arrayed forces that were bombarding the city were already showing up on scanners, and their numbers were quickly swelling to more than what they had. With the shield raised, he could do nothing to return fire upon the artillery. Not that he needed to, since so long as the shield remained up, they were safe behind it. None the less, he still ordered the closest long range turbolaser emplacements to work on gaining a lock upon the Imperial scum
No sooner had they radioed in about their new friend, than a reply had come back. Their orders were to shoot anyone on sight, be they friend or foe. Well, that certainly made things a lot easier for them he though, as the Sergeant turned back to his men. Each of them was already shouldering their blaster and preparing to take aim
"We have our orders, fire at will!"
There was muted agreement in response, as the commander shouldered his rifle. As it so happened, their new target was walking closer to them, arms raised out to the side. Well, it was very nice of him to present himself like that for them. However, despite his best efforts, they had their orders and nothing could override a soldiers drive and determination to obey such commands. The moment was over then, and if the man had not figured out his ruse had failed and was trying to take cover or run the other way, he would be greeted with a wall of blaster fire. Thus, the opening salvo's of the battle for Garang had been launched
Sahiir had thankfully not suffered any major injuries, meaning that the doctors had been able to dress her wounds and get her back on her feet. After that, they had begun to attend to the injuries of the rest of her men. With their focus no longer upon her, she felt the desire to obey came back from deep within her mind. The Knight of Ren had placed her seed well and truly deep within the female commander's mind, and it was not easily snuffed out. With a battle ready ok from the doctors, she was able to simply walk out of the hospital, since the defence of Garang would need every hand that it could get.
As she exited the hospital, she made her way to a nearby depot, to re-equip herself with a new sniper rifle, blaster pistol side-arm, several magazines of ammo, and a couple grenades. She thanked the supply officer, as she slung the rifle across her back and strapped the blaster pistol to her thigh. With her equipment sorted, she made her way through the city, heading in the direction of the spaceport. First, she would need to reconnoitre the place and work out her best option for taking the shield down

* An Imperial Shuttle breaks through the cloud cover and heads towards the staging area of the First Order's forces. After getting few minutes to look over the area, Thrakk pats the pilot on the shoulder the shuttle circles the area then lands. Thrakk exits the shuttle, his outer coat billows as the ship takes off and heads back to the Imperial outpost. As Thrakk makes his way up to the front lines, he met with salutes as many of the storm troopers and officers recognize him as the Imperial Hand.
As he walked, all he could think about was how much he loathed being on this planet. Having been sent to ensure the success of campaign that already had taken far to long, even though Thrakk could think a hundreds of other more pressing issues; he Knew the Supreme Commander wanted Dantooine, and it was Thrakks job to ensure the Supreme Commanders vision be met.
Making it to the front lines, Thrakk looks down at Garang. "Pointless" he thinks to himself, for it wouldn't matter if the rebels inside Garang stopped the first wave of attacks and killed hundreds of First order soldiers. It all came down to numbers, and the First Order had far more resources at their disposal. But instead realizing that their own demise was right before them, these rebel fools have decided to take part in one last show of weak ideology. For once the shield was down, Thrakk knew they would sweep through Garang like a flood and finally take this world.
It was then that the defenders began their opening salvo, blaster fire and heavy defense emplacements where let loose towards the Imperials positions. Thrakk couldn't help but laugh under his breath at this fireworks display. Thrakk continues to look down at Garang when he sees a man near its entrance, reaching out in force Thrakk is shocked when he feels a familiar presence. *
" Aeryn "
* Thrakk whispers the name of his former pupil and watches as he comes under fire. Thrakk is filled with anger not only for the rebels but for his former pupils action. Thrakk opens himself to force and feels its limitless power flow through him. Without moving a muscle Thrakk uses a technique he had mastered long ago, he envelops his former apprentice in a shroud of force deflection. This would cause the blaster fire to either be absorbed or deflected away from Aeryn, Thrakk knew this would give his former pupil enough time to escape. Thrakk taps his wrist comlink and sends a message to General Delvardus*
" General we need suppressing fire at the front in order to keep the outer defenses at bay"
* Thrakk signals for the front line of storm troopers to take up positions of cover and fire at the outer defenses that where not protected by the shield. This should at least force the rebel defenders to in turn take cover and not make it as easy to keep up a continuous rate of fire at the First Orders Position *

* Aeryn is met with a wall of blaster fire as he approaches the front gates to Garang, even with his lightning like refelxes Aeryn knows he wouldn't be able to get to his lightsaber in time to block the incoming blaster fire. Just as he reaches for his lightsaber, the blaster fire around him is suddenly defecting. Aeryn can feel a force presence around that he hadn't felt in some time. He doesn't let the feeling distract him, without hesitation Aeryn turns and calls upon the power of the force to increase his speed as sprints back to the First Orders staging area. After a few minutes, Aeryn makes it back to the front lines. Taking a deep breath, Aeryn pushes through the sudden exhaustion his body was feeling after pushing himself to his physical limits.
Aeryn walks through the front lines and sees a figure standing near the center of the formation. Aeryn watches as Storm Troopers begin to return fire at the rebel soldiers as he makes his way towards the figure. Through the force he can feel a darkness that he knew all to well. Aeryn comes to a stop just behind the man and speaks*
" I believe thanks are in order...Thrakk "

* Thrakk doesn't turn to address his former pupil, he simply continues to look down upon Garang, he watches each side trade blaster fire between each other as the Skirmish ensues. The battle was only going to grow worse from here, but at this point the expansion of the First Order was all that mattered. He would do his duty to the Supreme Commander no matter the cost. Victory was their only option.
Thrakk feels conflicted, his emotions torn over Aeryn. He had trained him sense he was a boy and thought of him as apart of himself. The ties he had shared with Aeryn where deep but broken, for even though he and Aeryn shared so much in the Past...Thrakk would never forget his former students betrayal. But those thoughts where for another time, there was a far greater purpose that each of them served here. Thrakk knew that in the future they would fight once again, but for now Thrakk was in great need for powerful force users. Not just for the battle of Dantooine but to broaden the Order of the Hand.
Thrakk turns his head to look back at Aeryn over his shoulder, their eyes lock as Thrakk speaks*
" Aeryn Morningstar...after all my teachings you still attempt the most reckless of plans"

* Aeryn shrugs as he takes his place next to Thrakk. Standing beside his old Master, Aeryn felt it was where apart of belonged, for he remembers that when they where together in past battles nothing could stand in there way. Working together would have it benefits, but in the end it would be an uneasy alliance at best. Aeryn looks back at the soldiers behind him moving into position then back at his old Master *

" As you can see, we have have worked ourselves into a stalemate. We have taken everything else on the planet except for this last position. As you know the rebels have fortified themselves inside Garang and are going to draw this fight out as long they can. I believe they are hoping for reinforcements which is why it is crucial we end this now. Until we get that shield down our advances will be futile "

* Thrakk takes a few seconds to think. As he does his wrist comm chimes, Thrakk reads the message on the holo display then closes it. It seemed that maybe he had rubbed off a bit more then he thought on the Supreme Commander. *
" The Supreme Commander has issued an extermination initiative. Nothing is to be left standing, no one is to be left breathing. Once that shield is down we attack "
* Thrakk thinks to himself then realizes what he might be able to do. Through the force he could trace where the shield generator was and destroy it, or at the very least damage it so that it would not be able to hold up to a large amount of fire and fail. Closing his eyes, Thrakk plunges himself into the depths of force *
" Aeryn I will need your help, focus on me and when you feel my signal pull like hell "
* Through force, Thrakk stretches his senses out feeling for a power source, or even a glimpse in someones mind of the shield generator. After almost 10 minutes Thrakk senses something. He feels power, moving power and coming to one spot in Garang, it may not be the shield generator but it was definitely what was giving it power. Through the force Thrakk can feel whats controlling the current, though his eyes are closed Thrakks hands are out in front of him. They move as if he was crushing a can and then in a flash his hands go out to his sides as if he just ripped whatever he was crushing in half.
The Shield Generator would most likely have serious damage to it, as it would have been hit with a large power surge. Also the surrounding area would look like it was hit with a bomb. For the amount of force energy projected onto the area would have not only pulled apart and crushed the power lines and systems that where meeting to connect to the shield generator, but everything else in the immediate area would have felt back lash of power and also be impacted by whatever explosions resulted from the damage to the shield generator and the power systems.
Even with Aeryn's help, Thrakk feels massively drained. He drops to one knee in pure exhaustion, his body trembling from the after shock of using so much force energy in such a small amount of time. Thrakk takes deep breaths to calm his body and lets himself bask in the force. Letting his essence and himself recharge, but this would take a few minutes before he would be just able to function. It would take a bit longer for him to feel at 100 percent again. Thrakk looks out at Garang and can see a large black column of smoke forming inside the city.
Looking over at Aeryn, Thrakk makes his orders clear *
" Aeryn, get a scan of the shields power level and press the attack we must take Garang know before they can regroup"

There was no point in fighting anymore, for he knew know matter how hard they fought they results would be the same. Just another failed attempt to try and help others, another failed attempt to make his father and sister's memory proud. Synar continues to walk on, until he sees the first storm trooper patrol. The young jedi exile drops to his knees and and looks them head, accepting his fate. For maybe death would finally grant him peace *

Medleyn arched an eyebrow at the General's instructions to take the Eighty-Fourth. She had extreme doubts that the platoon of Republic soldiers would follow the lead of a self-professed Sith Assassin, and furthermore, she was not accustomed to leading or guiding a large force of soldiers. More than likely, they were to keep an eye on her. Assured that that was why she would be attached to the unit, and certain that she was in no genuine position to lead anybody, she now had the complicated task of hiding herself from the Imperials, and especially the opposing side's Force-Sensitive commanders and warriors. She knew all about Dark Side abilities, but she was no master or supreme expert. It would be all she could do to conceal herself without earning the ire or distrust of the Republic, on which she had built a foundation of an alliance...on shifting sands.
"Yes general," said Medleyn, and she turned to the men she guessed were the Eighty-Fourth Platoon. "Let us proceed. I will be in front of you, cloaked."
She glanced down at her belt, which had cloaking technology, and turned, activating it along the way, "If you have a shot at your enemy, take it. I will not be in your line of fire."
She concentrated, and began to mask her presence in the Force, doing her best to be invisible to both the Force and to technological scanners. So long as she kept her movements slow, she would be undetectable, and out of the Eighty-Fourth's way. She only hoped they didn't try to deliberately gun for her, not that she could blame them, especially if she cloaked. But stealth was her method, and how she worked best.
Yet, another thought came to her, and she considered it. Stay with the platoon, and protect them. Kill anything and everything that gunned for them, and make sure they knew she was helping them and not their mutual enemies.

The Sergeant and his men were quite surprised as their blaster bolts were suddenly blocked by some unseen barrier. They knew it was no force field, since there would have been energy ripples from where their blaster bolts impacted it. No, this was something else entirely. But who was controlling it, they were unsure of, since their target had been going to reach for his weapon. But it did not stop them from continuing to fire, since who ever was doing it would have still been some distance away. Their attention, however, was soon turned to a small group of storm troopers that had broken forth from the front lines of the Imperial ranks. The outpost that had been set up, allowed them ample cover, whilst still trading fire with the enemy forces
General Brakin was no mere amateur, he was fighting against the Empire when the stronger of the two force users had still been in diapers. So he had taken the precaution of ensuring the Shield Generator had its own dedicated Power Supply, both of which were located well within the heart of the city in the spaceport. Instead, what the pair of sith had managed to damage, was a local transformer at the edge of the city. A small readout in the command centre showed up, indicating that power to a small handful of turbolaser emplacements at the edge of the city had been lost. The General narrowed his eyes. He was certain the Imperials had hoped they would have damaged the shield, but they were mistaken. All the readouts still reported the shield near 100%, with infinitesimal decreases caused by the bombardments
Sahiir spent several minutes scouting the spaceport, working out where and how to sabotage the shield generator. And then she found it. A building a block or so from the spaceport, which rose several stories above its neighbours. She made her ascent as quickly as possible, passing by no one else. The rest of the alliance forces were stationed more towards the edge of the city in buildings around there. This close to the spaceport the troops were concentrated within the pillboxes.
As she arrived to the roof, she quickly made her way to the edge of the roof facing the spaceport. Taking her sniper rifle in hand, she loaded in an explosive round cartridge and flicked the bolt into place, loading the first round. She could still feel that dark will acting upon her, making her feel as if she were acting under her own actions as she took a knee. She rested the barrel of the rifle upon the small ledge, as she aimed down the sights. Officers and regular Soldiers rushed back and forth, giving out new orders, reporting various troop movements. None of them aware of her actions. Sahiir turned her sights upon the shield generator in that moment. She took several deep breaths then, breathing in and out slowly, calming herself...
Several alarms started ringing within the command centre in that moment, as a consecutive number of shots were fired. These in turn caused a number of explosions to go off as the shots impacted the Shield Generator, damaging it. Within moments, the Shield that was protecting Garang from the assault of the First Order had fallen, exposing the city. Brakin was already barking orders to various comms officers, ordering all emplacements to fire upon the Imperial lines, and alerting the defending forces to prepare for battle. Those under the General's command did not hesitate to follow his orders, with the Emplacements letting loose turbolaser rounds upon the Imperial front lines. Crews that had been working within the emplacements affected by the power outage had started pulling out and setting the demolition charges. The Battle for Garang had begun

* Thrakk's eyes burn like the lava fields of Mustafar, he draws on the fear, the anger and the hate that the battle produces. He lets it fill him like a raging river, the power is untamed, unchecked and urging to be unleashed. His outer cloak bellows about him as explosions erupt around him as he begins to walk forward, gripping his lightsaber in his right hand he thumbs the activation switch. The bright crimson blade comes to life as he points it at the enemy out before him.
Imperial Forces immediately return fire as the rebels unleash their barrage of turbo laser and small arms fire. Storm troopers begin to fall left and right but the casualties where expected, Thrakk knew that the losses where acceptable and no matter what the cost Garang would be taken. Soon his ears are filled with the sounds of battle as Imperial Artillery begins to fire on Garangs defensive positions, the front lines make their first push forward along side their field commander.
Imperial Bombers are given the signal that the shields are down and soon multiple wings are airborne over Garang dropping their payloads throughout the city and space port causing whatever damage they can. Thrakk presses the forward assault, he would either break the defenses with the forces here or at least engage them long enough for Soku Ren and his men to flank Garang and bring about a swift defeat.

Lieutenant Fess was one of the communications officers aboard the Triumph, currently approaching Dantooine. She had been tasked by the chief comms officer to make contact with anyone left on the planet, either in Garang or the Jedi enclave. She was unable to get any response from the enclave and she feared the worst. However she doubled her efforts to make contact with the resistance in the capital.
This is Alliance Lieutenant Fess to any free units in Garang, please respond on this channel with a status report. Help is on the way and it is critical that we are able to co-ordinate with you.
The message repeated itself over the Alliance comm channel that the defenders were known to be using. Lieutenant Fess was listening carefully for any response to report to her superiors.

* Thrakk leaps to the side just as turbolaser fire impacts his position, rolling into a trench emplacement at the front lines of the First Order Attack forces, The Imperial Hand receives new information from his wrist comm. Jedi Reinforcements had arrived in Dantooines orbit. What was once a one sided battle had now become contested, and Thrakk new that if they did not take Garang now that the battle could be drawn out much longer and not only where more losses assured but victory could be lost as well.
With Imperial Artillery and bombing runs having softened up some of the front defenses now that the shields where down, Thrakk gets on his wrist comm and gives his orders to all Imperial Forces. *
" This is Imperial Hand Thrakk Valinor, all front line forces attack now. Reserve forces take up our current positions and keep up covering fire into the defenses as we make our approach. All artillery continue to fire into the marked defensive emplacements, move up fire as ground troops move forward, all bombers continue hammering the city and space port. "
* Thrakk then nods to the storm trooper commander in the trench next to him, then leaps out of the trench. His crimson blade swatting away incoming blaster fire as he charges forward with the front line forces now charging behind him who also continued to fire at the enemy. Casualties would be high, but with the artillery strikes and the bombers hammering the front defensive positions, it would give the front line forces enough of a chance to make a foot gold into the front defenses of Garang.
Crossing no mans land felt like an eternity, storm troopers where falling by the hundreds as the rebels inside the front line defensive emplacements continuously poured a barrage of laser fire into the oncoming imperial forces. Slowly but surely the the enemy fire began to fall apart as Imperial Artillery hit their targets, creating openings for the Imperial Forces to push forward. The crossing had taken out 2/3 of the initial attacking Imperial forces troops, but now for the first time Imperial boots where touching Garangs soil.

It had been a relatively uneventful siege and artillery bombardment since the arrival of the Imperial forces under General Delvardus, brother of the Supreme Commander. Artemis continued to review the scouting reports and oversee the artillery salvos. The only surprise was the sudden appearance of a lone starfighter that manage to get behind enemy lines; surely someone aligned with those who dare to keep Garang out of their hands. With the Enclave effectively leveled, additional Imperial forces would be redeploying to his sector to join his command for an overwhelming assault hopefully. As he reviewed some layouts of Garang, an ensign walks into his mobile command post.
General! There has been an explosion from within the city! You have to come and see this!
By the time Artemis was outside of his command center, he watched as the shield covering the city flickered a few times before dying entirely. Garang was exposed... thought the General as he stared at the untouched city that was surrounded by scorched earth and holes caused by explosions. With an inhale of confidence, he grabs his comlink and begins giving orders for a renewed artillery barrage.
All sections... OPEN FIRE!!!
Suddenly the Imperial artillery opened up loudly and endlessly with renewed vigor as shells rained down onto the exposed capital of Dantooine. As this was performed, vehicles came to life and soldiers began to report to their units for rapid deployment. Orders were being arranged and executed as the assault upon Garang was imminent. The battle plan was already laid out before them and Artemis was more than happy to execute it without hesitation. As the artillery continued to hammer the city, the General barks his order over the Imperial open frequency.
All units... FORWARD!!!
With that said, the Battle of Garang had begun...

Acting on her second instinct to remain with the Eighty-Fourth, Medleyn abruptly dropped her cloak as she led the platoon into their designated position. If there was any mumbling or questions as to her actions, which countermanded her own instructions, the men of the Eighty-Fourth kept it to themselves, or so softly, even the Sith Assassin couldn't hear but with a determined focus through the Force, and her attention was directed entirely to what was ahead of them. Her irises blazed like flames, giving her entire face a disturbing visage, especially in one so young as herself. A quick examination above told her that everything seemed to be going wrong, despite all that the General told her. It seemed an opportunity for her to reverse that. Crouching low to the ground, the young Sith allowed for the Alliance soldiers to have a clear view of the enemies ahead, even as she ignited her scarlet blade, and she seized the Force, drawing on its power, filling herself. Delicious power, glorious power, wondrous as the sun, and the sickening darkness that was both within herself and in the Force itself from which she drew on. She wanted to scream for joy, and she wanted to retch all at once. The young assassin had never felt like this before, and she couldn't help but wonder if it was a part of the darkness consuming her already.
Ignoring it, she fed her worries, doubts and anything that would disrupt her focus into a mental flame. There was nothing but the rage, the hatred, and the fury...for the Sith, for the Empire. Everything she once served, she now made the focus of her hatred. The Alliance was strong, the Eighty-Fourth was hers. Her people, and the Force have mercy on that which would harm those she cared for. She did not know when she had risen from her crouch, to charge madly towards the stormtroopers. She struck her blade into the ground, igniting it with superheated plasma, and as she concentrated on the flames her weapon made, she fed the flames, with the flames of her own anger, her own hatred, her pain. She would make this pain the pain of her enemies, and she thrust her hand out towards the troopers even as she ran, with great gouts of flame shooting past her like a long continuous beam. Seven beams stretched forward, consuming the foes they touched.
Activating her cloaking field, she disappeared, only to reappear, straddling a trooper from behind, gripping the chin of his helmet and slashing his throat. When the trooper fell, she disappeared again, reappearing to hamstring another trooper, then fading from sight. This continued until she had decimated nearly a dozen before one of the stormtroopers managed a shot, grazing her right arm. Hissing, Medleyn bathed him in lightning, before spreading them out to others. It was too many, but she didn't care. She wanted them all to die, to feel fear, and to lose their resolve before she finished them. But the girl only possessed grim determination, far greater than her stamina, such as it was. She eventually rejoined the Alliance platoon, standing before them as a shield, deflecting enemy blaster bolts. Gritting her teeth, she cried out in frustration when the shields fell, and she watched as the bombs fell. Doing what she could, she hurled back as many projectiles as she could that fell from the bombers. Hitting some of the enemy fighters. Then she saw the turbolaser rain from an unseen ally in the sky, that was targetting the Imperials.
Yet there were some of the same turbolasers coming for the city of Garang. Eyes widening, Medleyn folded her lightsaber back into her belt, and lifted twenty square meters of the ground before her, digging a three meter deep trench in the process, and held it directly over the Eighty-Fourth and herself, just in time to deflect a blast that would surely have taken their lives. The ground broke, raining bits of debris, glass and dirt upon the platoon. She lifted her eyes defiantly to the skies and cried out, AAAHHHHH!!! GARANG SHALL NOT FALL!
There were burning objects and rocks all around them now, and she lifted them with the Force, drawing out her lightsaber once more, she hurled them at bombers and stormtroopers alike, and she held herself ready, challenging the enemies to come for her.

Southwest of Garang
Nicolina and SGT Achari, the male Kaleesh that is the squad leader of assault squad #1 of her platoon, are examining a holomap of the area along with SSG Solberg, the human female who acts as the platoon's sergeant, as they discuss who they bring along to reconnoiter the tentative support position they have selected based on what their forward observers, deployed earlier and in position, have reported when the order to advance is given.
Well, Nicolina says, her rueful grin concealed beneath her black Shadowtrooper helmet, Looks like we'll be going the hasty attack route instead of the deliberate. Pointing towards the position they had selected as an initial base of fire in the event the order was given to advance earlier than anticipated as has now happened, Nicolina, the tension of waiting for things to start happening washed away as her adrenaline starts flowing now that the moment has arrived to head into the proverbial breach once more, tells Solberg, Have Gosse and his team act as overwatch as we deploy for the initial objective outside the city here and establish security. As Solberg salutes and jogs off to give SGT Gosse, a burly male Trandoshan who leads the support squad, his orders, Nicolina checks her DLT-19 a final time and, motioning for Achari to accompany her, says, Once we have established our base of fire, we'll suppress any enemy forces between us and the city, look for a gap or weak spot, and go from there. At least, she adds with a chuckle given that she has been in the military long enough to know that even a brilliant plan might need to be thrown out the window when events don't play along with expectation, that's the plan.
The next moments, as she leads the assault for their intended initial base of fire, are chaotic. The sound of her breathing and the comm traffic from her fire teams and those of the support element acting as overwatch fill her ears as she runs, eyes constantly watching her assigned sector of fire for threats. Contact, one o'clock! Engaging! Nicolina says, dropping to a knee as she fires towards the hostiles that appear and begin opening fire. As she exchanges fire with the enemy, Nicolina hears CPL Grahn, one of her forward observers, warn her of enemy movement to the assault element's nine o'clock, followed almost immediately by Solberg saying that the support element is aware and will engage the enemy so that the assault can continue unimpeded.
Watch your sectors of fire people! Nicolina reminds Solberg gruffly as a flurry of friendly fire comes dangerously close to her position, using hand signals to command assault squad #2 to press the assault while she and assault #1 cover them as the sounds of blaster fire advance all around adding to the chaotic din threatening to break her concentration and overall grasp of the situation. When the enemy forces have been dealt with, Nicolina signals assault #1 to advance, quickly checking her HUD to ensure they haven't been thrown off their route.
Reaching their objective, a position which affords them decent cover and will also allow for observation of the section of the city selected for their attack so that the platoon's support element can act as overwatch, provides as little sense of accomplishment as it does an opportunity to catch her breath, Nicolina not wanting to delay for too long before moving out once more to minimize the chances the enemy can start directing any artillery fire they might have at their disposal on their position. Repeat that last, Nicolina tells Grahn as she is using hand signals to assign fire teams their positions, not sure she heard her forward observer's last report correctly over the roar of turbolaser and artillery fire pouring onto the city, it's shield having fallen during her platoon's advance.
Hearing Nicolina curse, Achari asks, ::What now Loo?::
Got a Forcie somewhere up ahead on our two o'clock, Nicolina says. Powerful one accompanying a sizable enemy force, using lighting and . . .
::Thought that was strictly a Dark Side thing.::
Shrugging as she kneels beside SFC Hintlian, the platoon's medic, as the Mirialan tends to the wounds of one of her troops, Nicolina tells Achari, So did I. Guess we're either wrong or maybe we just don't have a monopoly on Dark Side Forcies. After giving a few words of encouragement to the injured trooper even though Hintlian had subtly signaled that he did not believe the Khommite would make it, Nicolina asks Achari, Those Imperial Knights still with us? Think we might could use 'em soon. Looking over towards PV2 Nirav 74, her comms operator, Nicolina shouts over the all but continuous sounds of explosions, blaster and turbolaser fire filling the air as the assault on the city continues and her fireteams begin trying to suppress any enemy forces ahead between them and the city, Have Calenda get her Laartie in the air, send some fire into the city to soften things up a bit before we press on, and then see if you can get Nikulin or Morningstar on the comms. Tell them we could use some of that good ol' Forcie magic stuff on our side right about now.
As Nirav 74 tries to get the Imperial Knights on the line, Nicolina uses the platoon's encrypted comm channel to contact Solberg, ordering her to begin moving the support element into position to overwatch for the assault element when they press on.

* Thrakk would let the storm troopers deal with the rebel troops, his purpose was to ensure that any force users the rebels had with them where to be dealt with. Walking calmly through the hell the area around Garang had become, Thrakk tracks the force user fighting in the front lines. Calling on the force he finds her, for her darkness called to him, he would bring her to his side or she would die with the rest of the rabble that defended this place.
There she was standing in the center of battle her lightsaber cutting down anything that opposed her, with a leap Thrakk breaks through the fire and smoke landing about 10 feet infront of Medlyn, his red blade casually pointed at the ground*

Utter chaos erupted throughout Garang as the shield went down. Anti-air gun crews started filling the air with a barrage of laser fire, to harass the bombers as they made their runs at the city. But even so, a couple of bombs managed to hit their targets, as did the accompanying artillery fire from outside the city. Meanwhile, Alliance Contingents moved along the main streets to the choke points to harass the storm troopers as they marched upon Garang. Meanwhile, crews were busily working to clear the rubble and free those that had gotten stuck when the generator had exploded. One of the first freed, was General Brakin. A new central command was busy being set up when he answered the comm from the new forces in orbit Lieutenant Fess, this is General Brakin. You have no idea how glad I am to see you. We've been hit hard. The Enclave has fallen, and our shield generator was just destroyed. Our forces are engaging the enemy in the air and on the ground. These Imperials are hitting us hard. Any assistance you can provide, would be greatly appreciated. You should have a link to our sensors down here soon... One of the techs hurriedly got a console going, before linking into the Alliance network and sending an encoded link to the fleet in orbit, relaying sensor data from the ground, showing the Alliance and Imperial positions
