The Pilot was a bit... well, worried would be an understatement... as he paced back and forth in the hallway. He knew that he had made a mistake on Hoth, inadvertently allowing that Jedi to escape when he blew an extra hole in the ice cave. But he had no other choice; the action had also saved his life and Darth Decretious as well. Surely his Master had understood this? He seemed furious when they got back to Clak'dor VII. The Pilot hadn't heard a word from him in nearly two days... But now he was being summoned to speak with Lord Decretious, and he knew this would not be a pleasant meeting. He would certainly be punished for his blunder. If only he could appeal to his Master. Yes, he would need to remind Decretious of his many strong points, and why it would be prudent to keep his Pilot around. Certainly there were plenty of qualities about him that would influence his Master to the idea that no harsh punishment was necessary for saving him from the grisly fate that sought to claim them both on that ice planet. Suddenly reassured that his Master would see reason in all of this, the Pilot stepped a bit more confidently through the doors leading into Darth Decretious' office. "My Master, I--"
The flash erupting from the barrel of Decretious' DH-17 blaster pistol was the last thing that the Pilot ever saw. And the blaster bolt searing through his forehead, the last thing he felt. Decretious calmly holstered his pistol as the Pilot's very fresh corpse collapsed to the floor. "I kept you alive for a long time, Pilot," the Sith Lord spoke to the dead body upon his floor, "in spite of your numerous transgressions, because I made a promise to that large Jedi above Geonosis that I would not harm you..." Clasping his hands behind his back, Decretious walked forward, needing to casually step over the Pilot's body as he made his way toward the doors leading outside the office. "You were a bargaining chip that had long since lost its value... and now, you have failed me for the last time." It was the first and final time that Decretious would waste his breath in holding conversation with a dead man. But a sinister smirk grew subtly on his face as he entertained the thought that his incompetent - if perhaps loyal servant might have deserved a more appropriate eulogy. "I want my office cleaned up by the time I get back." He barked at the Bith staff in the hallway as he walked down the staircase. He would certainly need to replace his Pilot with another loyal follower, though preferably more capable. And perhaps it was time that he ventured into the realm of taking on an Apprentice who was strong in the Force... As luck would have it - if one were to believe in such a thing - Decretious cocked his head slightly as he began to sense a distinct presence; one that was unfamiliar to him, but recognizable as someone around whom the Force swirled like an impetuous tempest. Stepping outside, he sought out the trail that this individual was casting, and he reached out through the Force, projecting his voice - or at least the voice that he possessed a long time ago - and spoke... <<You have not been on this planet long, have you?>> His interest piqued, he wondered if this creature would answer him. Or if they would even know how...

The Dark Lord was answered by the voice of a female. This only served to continue feeding his intrigue. Again, he reached out the the Force and spoke again. <<I can sense you, and so I imagine that you can also sense me. Come find me within this city; or find yourself escorted by my more brutish servants.>> He normally did not care for threats, but he had to speak with this Force User. He drew upon the Force within him, and allowed it to flow freely as a beacon, leading this new arrival to the Capital Building of the city, where he would be waiting.

Decretious could sense her fear as she drew closer, and soon was well within distance of sight. She appeared to be quite young. Humanoid, at least, which was promising; they were always much easier to deal with. Even better would be if she was actually human, though that was difficult to discern. The Sith Lord took a few steps toward the girl, leaving only a few feet worth of gap between the two. His own appearance was daunting to most; though human, he appeared to be far less - or more, depending on how one might choose to perceive things. The left side of his face was missing entirely, and had been surgically repaired with a durasteel plate and prosthetic, mechanical eye which continued to scan her. The top of his head, once full of long hair was now bald and scarred with evidence of burn marks due to a training accident with one of his former Apprentices within the Palpatinian Order on Gyndine, what seemed like a lifetime ago. When he spoke aloud, his voice didn't even sound human, but carried the synthetic monotone of a machine. A distasteful symptom of the repairs done along his throat and vocal chords, and a sound that he once despised with great passion... "Welcome, child, to Weogar." He forced a cordial smile and outstretched his arms in gesture to their surroundings before clasping his hands once again behind his back. "I am Darth Decretious; Supreme Overlord of this world and acting Governor of the City." His mechanical eye continued scanning her as he spoke, cycling through thermal and x-ray vision receptors in order to identify what weapons, if any, that she possessed. "And who might you be?"

"This is a long way from Naboo." He answered, though his mild amusement was not communicable through his synthetic monotone. She seemed relatively unresponsive in her demeanor, and he understood that his own appearance left many unnerved and at a loss of how to react. Well, there wasn't much that he could do about that... "Are you afraid, Kaila?" He asked with a tilt of his head. Again, his amusement could not be carried in his voice, but he did allow a sinister grin to tug subtly at the corners of his mouth.

"Of course." His smug grin fell into a slight scowl. He could definitely ascertain that she was afraid, but he also detected an amount of defiance in her mannerism. There was an undeniable fire that burned within this young potential, yet even a fire must be properly contained in order for it to be useful. Decretious was interested to discover just how hot this fire burned. Fear he could certainly work with, to an extent, and even defiance; yet these two attributes did not account for the ultimate factor of competence. Was this one worthy, or simply a child absent significance? The Sith Lord would prefer not to waste such a valuable resource such as time on something lacking real value. In fact, this whole encounter seemed to be taxing, as he was failing to acquire suitable information simply by asking questions. There was only one true test that would be able to accurately determine whether or not this girl was worth Decretious' attention. With a dismissive wave of his hand, the Sith addressed Kaila's escorts - a pair of Bith with genetically augmented muscular structure, greatly enhancing their strength and size, and giving them a far more daunting appearance. "She is of no use to me; kill her." Before turning and walking back into the Capital Building. She would either parish at the hands of his brutes, or reveal to him that she was something greater than she appeared to be.
The two large bith on either side of Kaila both drew their vibroswords and prepared to attack.

I guess it's time to show these Bith that I'm not just a little weakling.
Kaila charges at them with a first strike hitting the one on the right. After many repeated strikes the Bith that was attack cries out "I can not best you"
That's all you can say eh? I have much more for you then that.
She turns to approach them again

It had become clear to the two sizable bith that this small-framed female was stronger than she appeared. Her skills with a lightsaber easily matched their combined power with their blades. Also to her advantage was that the two brutes were not particularly efficient when it came to fighting together against a singular target; rather they trudged around each other like a pair of clumsy banthas as they moved toward her, both wildly swinging their vibroswords down at her from above. One blade directed at her left shoulder, and the other aimed down directly at her skull.

The bith were getting tired of this little human and her audacity. She should not have been able to stand against them even for this amount of time. They had underestimated her, but now they simply wanted her dead. She was quickly becoming too much trouble, and had to be destroyed if they were to prove themselves competent to their master. One of them placed a firm hand on the other's shoulder and shoved him aside, confident that he could deal with her alone. Standing directly in her path as she charged, the large bith waited until she closed in before thrusting forward with his sword, aiming to plunge the blade into her abdomen.

Kaila notices as she is charging towards them the Biths attack and dodges to the side. She then notices red on her left shoulder. Feeling her shoulder with the blood rolling down her arm she lets out a slight cry.
I'm just a girl that is lost and has stumbled upon this planet and all you can to is kill me? Can't you just spare me and help? Or are you going to be cruel to such a young weakling that has no idea where she is and is slightly scared?
Kaila now shows her true side to the Bith and stops the unafraid killer act in hope they'd spare her. Still staring at them in wonder she backs away and drops her lightsaber in a truce hoping they would take it and drop their swords. Not knowing what they will do she still trembles in fear.
I thought this act would help me out here but it obviously didn't. If you spare me I can be useful. You can train me in anyway you need to. I'm am sorry if i have come across as trespassing but I didn't really know. It all happened so fast. Maybe if you just listen to my story you will be a little more understanding?
Kaila is silent waiting for a response hoping they'd give her a chance.

The large Bith were paused as Kaila's attitude quickly changed at the sight of her own blood. She was now playing the role of a weak, frightened child, when she had previously displayed herself as a more competent warrior. This confused the two brutes, who glanced back at one another inquisitively. They knew that sparing the girl would not be a prudent option, for their master had given them the order to kill, but the two aliens were not unsympathetic to the girl either. The Bith nearest Kaila, no longer regarding her as a threat, turned his back to her and faced his brother, clearly at a loss for what decision to make regarding the girl. "We could deliver her to Lord Decretious," one Bith suggested to the other, "she is still powerful, and our master might reward us for bringing her to him in this broken state." "No brother." The other Bith protested, "our master would surely punish us for disobeying our orders to destroy her. It would be safer to just kill her now." The Bith argued back and forth with one another over what to do. It seemed as though they would never come to an agreement regarding the girl...

Both of the large Bith scrutinized the tiny human for a few moments after she had spoken. The reality of the situation was that she had no say in what happened to her, despite her preferences; they were given the order to kill her. But the aliens were still divided on what they believed would be the proper course of action. So far they had failed in their efforts to kill her, and they considered among themselves the value of someone with the ability to withstand them both. It took them a while to reach a consensus, but they were both eventually on the same page for bringing the girl back to Decretious. One of the Bith produced a neural-restraint collar and clasped it firmly around the human's neck, which would hinder her ability to use the Force against them in case she attempted to turn on them. Attached to the collar was a long chain which the large Bith handled, and the two made their way back into the Capital Building with the human prisoner in tow. Taking the stairs leading up into the Governor's Office which had been taken over by the Sith Lord upon his arrival, the Bith filed into the open room, yanking Kaila by the chain along with them until they stood in front of the desk that Decretious had been sitting at, undoubtedly waiting for them to report back with their success of dispatching the girl. "Lord Decretious," The Bith not holding Kaila's chain began to speak, "We understand that you ordered us to kill the small Human female, but we thought it might be best--"
Decretious' movements could barely be perceived. Moving with a swiftness aided immensely by the Force, the Sith Lord produced from his boot one of his personal throwing knives, within a fraction of the time it would have taken to react, the blade had sunk into the Bith's right eye socket and lodged itself into the front of his brain. The Bith was effectively cut-off from his statement as he fell lifelessly onto the carpeted floor. "I gave you a simple and straight-forward order." Decretious said quietly. If he was angry, it could not have been conveyed in his mechanical, monotone voice. "You did not need to decide what might be best. That was for me to decide." The other Bith, the one still holding onto Kaila's chain-leash, found himself completely unable to move as Decretious had risen from his seat. Trapped in suspended animation from a field of Force Stasis, the alien could only barely move his dark, bulbous eyes to follow the Sith Lord as he made his way around the desk, but Decretious' attention was on Kaila rather than the motionless Bith. "One simple instruction." Decretious continued, apparently speaking to his henchman but still fixed on the human girl as his hand glided over the chain connecting her to her handler. "If you cannot follow my instruction without wavering, then you are of no use to me." His hand had followed the chain down to the collar around Kaila's neck. He imagined that if he had so desired, it would not have been difficult for him to strangle the girl with only one of his large hands. But he had other plans. "And what about you?" He directed this question to Kaila. "How capable are you of following instructions?" The Sith Lord grasped with both hands the collar around the girl's neck, and with a sharp tug in opposite directions, he broke the neural-disruptor in half, freeing Kaila. He then gestured toward the frozen alien beside her. "I will give you a simple order instead. Strike down this incompetent servant, and prove to me that you are more capable than these useless aliens, and therefore valuable enough to be kept alive." There was a hint of threat in his words that Decretious had expected Kaila to pick up on. Without saying so, the obvious implication of this situation was simple: she either killed the Bith as instructed, or she would not be leaving this room alive.

Yes Decretious.
Kaila looks over at the Bith not feeling any remorse for what he and the other had put her though.
Please, no, you don't understand! It was a moment of though decision.
Kaila knows she is being looked at by Decretious and picks up the other Bith's weapon.
I'm sorry but I actually do what I am asked to do. I listen to people.
With one swing with the other Bith's weapon, the other falls to the ground lifeless in front of Decretious. Kaila then gently puts down the weapon.
