Constructed by MandalMotors, during the time of its founder, many generations ago and augmented, over time, by various Mandalores, the MandalMotors Shipyard is the heart of the company's primary production in spacecraft, although the company did also produce ground vehicles. Here, a number of warships, new and old models, as well as starfighters, transports, and all kinds of spacefaring craft are constructed by the Mandalorian crews employed by MandalMotors. The brainchild of General Gustav Zenlav, this shipyard stands as a driving force for the Mandalorian economy and as the center of developing and constructing advanced warships for the Mandalorian navies that protect this space.

MandalMotors served the needs of every Mandalorian clan that existed within the galaxy. Their industry booming during the reign of Mand'alor the Architect who spoke with the board and their executive on the construction of newer warships and spacecraft to modernize and buff the Mandalorian navies of the future to come. The new models were becoming more present within the Mandalorian navy as time went on and Mand'alors changed from Ordo to Ordinii.
One day, a representative from the Fett clan came to speak with the shipwrights over the planet of Mandalore. The time for a navy that would protect Concord Dawn, the interests of the Fett clan, and serve the needs of the Mandalorian Protectors was at hand. Galaar had some ideas in mind, thus the representative was sent to confer with them.

After some deliberation and planning, the designated fleet of the Aliit'ator, Galaar Fett, codenamed Akaankal, or Warblade, Command began to be constructed within MandalMotors Shipyards. It was quite the sizable order, considering it called for twenty-six warships and the production of two hundred and sixty-four starfighters. In the end, Akaankal Command would comprise of a single Cabur-class Cruiser Mark II as the command ship, augmented by a Da'yirya-class Mandalorian Carrier, four Cabur-class Cruisers, six Adamant-class Frigates, six Teroch-class Heavy Frigates, and seven Crusader-class Corvettes. The Eighth to join was the personal ship of Galaar Fett at the moment.
In addition, the clan leader called for the purchase and production of Bes'uliik Starfighters, Fang Fighters, Beskad-class Starfighters, and Vyrhawk Fighter-Bombers to serve as the starfighter complement for the fleet's space forces. This had been crafted to serve not only the needs and interests of Clan Fett, but also that of the Mandalorian Protectors who needed mobile and strong ships to get around Mandalorian Space quickly and efficiently.

Mandalore Space - Present DayAboard the modified Kom'rk-class transport Wild Boar The door slipped closed behind Kaine as he made his way back into the main cabin of the Wild Boar. Five faces greeted him, each bearing a different expression. Kaine's was a mask of anger, but he kept himself restrained as he could under the circumstances. Alright, I think I know what's happened. He held up a hand to forestall any questions. First, I hold you. Kaine pointed at Reyn, eldest of his five children present. Reyn's eyes, one natural blue, one an organic replacement that glowed red, stared back. Responsible for this mess. The 'mess' Kaine was referring to was the fact that the family had somehow been thrown some 800 years into the past. Nothing was ever easy when your name was Australis. Reyn stood up, but his sister Amaranth pushed him back into his seat and stood herself, facing down the old boar, meeting his eyes with the lack of fear borne of her upbringing on Borleias.
No. We decided together. All of us are responsible.Kaine bit back a curse. Hang on. He's in command here. The conversation descended into arguing and shouting again as all of them tried to be heard. That went on for several minutes without any respite until finally the one who hadn't spoken up held out her hand. They all noticed that, and eventually sat back down and went quiet. Marit was not going to shout to be heard, and she wasn't likely to appreciate the rest of them speaking when she had something to say. Once the din quieted down, the Commenori baroness stood. She gave each of them a disappointed frown before speaking. Though we are each responsible for this situation. She looked at her father pointedly. We are each caught by it, and must make our peace with the reality. We are here, and we have our lives. Apportioning blame is pointless.Marit resumed her seat, having sufficiently chastened her parent and her siblings. Konig took the silence for opportunity, and spoke up. What do we do then? Asking the question on everyone's mind that would move them all beyond the conflict of their arrival. Kaine was the first to answer. You will all have to find your own way. Caz and I will be living on the ship, which means the five of you get to find new homes.None of the adult children objected to not having to stay cooped up aboard the vessel, which Kaine appreciated as much as they did. Vevut, who had been unusually silent, the youngest of the siblings, spoke up. I'm going to Mandalore. That didn't require thought, he would be where trouble could be found. Konig looked to his brother. Me too. Someone's got to keep you out of trouble. Amaranth sighed. And me. Because you two will find trouble if i'm not there.Marit smiled. I am not going to Mandalore. Nor did she choose to furnish the others with just where she would be going or what she would be doing, as usual. Kaine smiled too. Right. We're inbound to the Mandalore Shipyards, each of you will get a ship of your own.
Wait on the ship until I get things straightened out. The Wild Boar continued in and docked at the station. Kaine exited alone, clad in his beskar'gam, buy'ce on.MandalMotors representatives were shocked to see Kaine Australis, who had been reported dead more than enough times, but soon got over their initial surprise. Kaine rode roughshod over the corporate types until he found someone with the authority to give him what he wanted. The negotiations were short. MandalArms had ticked along nicely, and so credits were about the only thing they had for the moment. That would do to let the kids purchase themselves ships of their own. Kaine settled with the MandalMotors rep, and headed back to the ship. Go on. He thumbed towards the hangar deck. The exit of the five Australis siblings gave a hint to their personalities, each fairly distinct. Vevut in black and green ran down the ramp, while Konig and Amaranth followed, in their own beskar'gam, deep green with ornate aurodium inlay carvings, and bare metal respectively. Reyn was next, in crimson from head to toe. Each of them bore the signet of Clan Australis on their shoulder, the Boar the only hint of conformity among the eclectic styles and colours of their armour. Can I borrow.. Reyn began. No. Kaine responded, without turning his head. Find your own ship.Osik. Reyn swore, foiled, and made his way down the ramp. The last to exit was not wearing armour, but a lengthy dress that hid the thinsuit she wore underneath, with a cloak that wound around her shoulders. Marit was elegant and practical. See you soon, Buir. She said in parting as she glided down the ramp and made her way into the station, catching every male eye, and pointedly ignoring them all. With the five of them off his ship, Kaine returned to his sleeping wife, hoping to get some cuddle time in. He locked the hatch behind him and set the security, just in case any of the kids came back. He did not want to be disturbed. It was good to be home. With Caz. @caz Australis

The vessel had been scanned on the way in. Kaine had been tied up with personal.... business. He was making his way down to meet his friend, and the being who had done him a good turn out in the Kashyyyk system when he ran into the fellow in the halls.Hello there, I'm Kaine Australis He said to the newcomer. It wasn't the busy hour so the halls were fairly deserted. Can i get you a drink mate?Cique Claybourne

Kaine pops his helmet off and grins at his new friend. No worries, this way. And led the way to a nearby Cantina that was decorated by a hand painted wooden sign reading "Rubh's" in faded red letters. Someone had scrawled "Shebs" in black just after the owner's name, which gave hint to the quality of the place's decor and atmosphere. Fortunately, as Kaine knew, the drinks were outstanding, and he had a solid line of credit with the owner; one Rubh A Dubh Dubh.
The cantina was dark, and poorly lit. Small groups of humans and aliens, mostly Mandos, talked among themselves in dark corners, at tables or leaning against walls. Kaine led the way into the bar, and a scantily clad Twi'lek waitress came over. Kaine grinned wider. Whyren's Reserve, two glasses. And tipped outrageously, pasisng a credchit over the bar, which the barmaid plopped between her assets in front, which were almost all the way on display, covered by wisps of silk. She gave him a ten megawatt smile, showing her pointed teeth and flashed her eyes invitingly at the two of them. The bottle appeared in record time along with a smile from the waitress. Kaine poured two drinks and handed one to Cique. Cheers!Cique Claybourne

Kaine returns Cique's toast and drinks his own drink, refilling both glasses. He took a slow sip of the second one, turning so he could watch the rest of the bar as well as the twilek barmaid. So, if you're looking for work, I can pay. Plenty of easy work, nothing illegal, decent credits. He took another sip. Cique Claybourne

Kaine nodded. The kids had left him with a ton of work to do, and he didn't have the time to get it all done himself. He wasn't above outsourcing, and some of the jobs were better done by someone that wasn't Kaine Australis. Folks got jumpy when he arrived insystem, armed to the teeth.Simple order and pickup from Corellia. A Baleen-class freighter, second hand, which I need collected and brought back to Mandalore. It was a blue milk run of a job, no real risk, not a long trip, and a simple retrieval mission. Kaine would pay generously to get the work done quickly and without having to make the trip Coreward himself. Cique Claybourne

Kaine nodded appreciatevely. Cique was ready to go, he could see that.Any time within the next month should be fine. CEC shipyards in Corellia Orbit will have the ship readily available. The Baleen-class wasn't exactly rare. If Corellian Engineering didn't have one to sell, someone would.Kaine handed over a credstick. Ten K now, ten more on delivery. Ten thousand credits was decent pay for this job, and twenty was generous.Cique Claybourne

Cique ClaybourneKaine tore himself away from a distractingly attractive Twi'lek who was walking past. Sorry, mate. You don't need to use my name, but you can if it'll help. Comm me if there are any troubles. Kaine's mind was already shifting to the needs of the Clan and the Vegemites. I'll meet you at Mandalore's orbit when you get back.

After Cique had left, Kaine got down to work on the Vegemites' secret construction project.
Many thousands of Clan and Vegemite personnel were assigned to the project, as things moved into the construction and production phase. The initial works had begun in the shadow of the moon of Concordia, where most of the new Vegemite fleet would be built. As a major partner in the project, MandalArms was working closely with MandalMotors, which whom they had a good professional and commercial relationship. This allowed both companies to act as hubs for raw materials and prefabricated components that were coming into the Mandalore Sector daily. Orders for shipments to outlying worlds were diverted to Mandalore once they entered Mandalorian space, and then from staging points outside the Mandalore system, routed to the construction sites near Concordia.
MandalMotors was producing many of the military components, as was MandalArms, while the majority of the construction that could be covered as civilian, industrial and commercial orders, came from major and minor Core World and Outer Rim shipyards and industrial powerhouses. Orders were placed from thousands of different locations and identities, with the final destination of the goods known only to those who needed to know. Everyone got paid, and nobody asked too many questions of such general trade.
Kaine was overseeing the initial runs from MandalMotors, once the project was well underway he would be able to leave things in the hands of Project personnel. Operational security was his main focus, and ensuring the orders for goods were placed from wide sources, and their end destinations kept a mystery, no outsiders would know who was building what, until the project was complete. The economic benefits to the companies involved would be suitably generous in order that nobody got too curious. Those heavily involved, such as MandalMotors, profited even more.
