Once more, the planet's aura 'twitched' in a sense. Malvus paused at the entryway into the old fortress, looking behind them for a moment, then looking forward. The Dark Side was subtly reacting to something or someone. This was the second time now that had happened and the spirits of the dead felt anxious and restless... there was something off, but the Sith could not understand what it was. The Sith Lord proceeds into the ancient fortress, walking upon the old stones and past deteriorating statues, left to the elements of Korriban's barren wasteland. Occasionally, armor was found in rusted forms as well as bits and pieces. The skeletons had long since turned to dust and the armor was the only signal that someone had been there before.
Malvus paused at one of the statues, looking at its half destroyed form. His hand brushed along a stone plate that really gave no information beyond the broken words of 'Lor... vius' due to the state of the structure. It was hard to tell from what era this fortress hailed from. After all, Sith architecture had only evolved, significantly, from the Old Sith Empire and it successors. Beyond that, it was sort of the same thing between each of the succeeding eras and dominant Sith powers. The fortress may require extensive research, more so than just between himself and his apprentice. A mental note was made to deploy his agents to thoroughly brush and scour the place.
Then it was felt again, a twitch in the aura of the planet. This time, however, it was much stronger and visible to the Force sensitives of this world. Malvus turned to the courtyard that laid beyond their path, but in the direction they were going. The Sith begins moving in that direction, heading toward the entrance and stopping just beyond the entry point. Quietly, Malvus stood, his masked face looking from left to right slowly. Then with quick movement, his lightsaber flew into his hand as the Sith's gaze was looking to their right fully. Through his mask, Sirona could hear one word being uttered by her master.
...Jedi...
In the next moment, his lightsaber flared to life. An unwanted guest on the world, it made sense now.

Sirona was so enamored by her surroundings that once the pair of Sith reached the gates she had truly forgotten all else. Notes were furiously being scribbled in her small journal. And when they reached the statues, oh how she nearly wept for joy. In fact she nearly admonished her master for touching the statue's plaque before it could be properly documented. But she held her tongue, at least in that regard. Malvus was not the only one curious about when these ruins were from. With a closer look at some of the stone work and details, the Darkside historian began to speak to herself while flipping back and forth in her notes.
Hmmmm. Seems to predate the Great Galactic War, so that gives us a start... Hmm, yes... Perhaps the work of the Golden Age Sith? No no no, if it had been used by Ragnos then it would have been used by Kreesh or Sadow would have used it and then been destroyed by the Republic and Jedi...
The two said the name of their hated foe at the same time. This caught Sirona off guard, at first due to her surprise someone was listening to her babbling, then at the true reason her master had made such an exclamation. Their in the middle of the court yard they had wondered into (or at least she wondered into, following her more purposful Master) was a man seemingly trying to meditate. At the sight of the Jedi, Sirona felt an anger rise quickly in her. One she had not expected but did nothing to fight. How dare he be here? How dare he tread in the grave of a civilization his kind wiped out? Did he think this world safe because it was a tomb? The Echani dropped her book and pen. She did not reach for a weapon yet, instead holding her arms wide, hands open with electricity surging between her fingers. Her anger had brought her to beyond words, only barely holding restraint to allow her Master to give the order.

The familiar sound of a lightsabre ignition broke the Jedi Master’s calm meditation. It had not taken long for the Force to reveal the purpose of Nemo’s journey to this place, although he may not fully realise this. His eyes opened and he turned his head to the side to look at where the sound had come from and, more importantly, who was holding the sabre. A masked figure stood just inside the courtyard entrance with a single-bladed, red lightsabre in his right hand. Close to the hilt it had a very distinctive cross-guard pattern to the blade which drew Nemo’s eye for a second longer than it normally would. This was a unique development in the sabre designs he had seen and fought against.
Slightly behind this individual was a second who dropped their equipment on the ground in order to strike a more offensive pose. This female was either human or near human with some distinctive markings on her pale face. She could be Arkanian, Echani or from any number of near-human species however her stance seemed to hint and a preference for unarmed combat. Nemo would need more information to assess both of these possible opponents but he was confident they were not expecting him.
Whilst un-clipping his cloak from his shoulders, Nemo stood to reveal his light brown Jedi robes, the lightsabre clipped to his belt on his right hip and the ultrachrome shield that was strapped to his back. He sighed, assuming he would need to purchase another cloak after this visit. His current cloak had been with him for longer than most, probably because he hadn’t been in a true fight for a while.
“Greetings friends, this is a fascinating place isn’t it? I see you are also enjoying the classic yet solid architecture of this ancient fortress. You wouldn’t happen to know how to open this door would you?”
A slight nod to his left indicated he meant the huge black door that dominated one side of the courtyard. Nemo spoke in a calm and surprisingly friendly manner, even though he did not expect a serious answer to his questions. Even now bright blue sparks began dancing across the fingertips of the female, the anger clear on her face. The aggression was clear enough from the other masked individual, his sabre ignited already and the hate permeating strongly through the Force, filling the courtyard. The Jedi Master began to centre himself in the Force in preparation for his fight or flight!

Typical, thought Malvus. Jedi attempting to always be the friendly sort, clueless and ignorant. It irritated the Sith to no end. Still, Malvus could sense the Force within this unnamed individual. It was strong and well honed, a blade that could easily overpower his apprentice. She was the Sith'ari's adopted daughter, he could not let her be harmed or worse after all. The cackling of electricity from her fingers indicated that to the Sith Lord that Sirona was ready to fight nonetheless.
Apprentice, keep your distance. Circle him like a wolf... wait for my signal.
Malvus mutters to Sirona. Perhaps, her circling presence would be able to divide the attention of Nemo and ensure an advantage for the Sith Lord. An determined threat before him and an uncertain one around him, his senses would certainly be divided between the two! With his quiet orders given to his apprentice, Malvus began his advance toward the Jedi, lightsaber in hand. Was this one associated with the one called Aerandir? It was hard to tell. Still, a Jedi was a Jedi... their mortal enemy.
Nothing was said to Nemo as Malvus had no urge to remotely answer such a stupid question and attempt to be friendly. As the Sith drew closer, Nemo would definitely begin to sense something off about the Sith. After all, he was a Wound in the Force, a crystal, forged from the souls of a million persons, inhabited where his heart once was. It had heightened his prowess as a sorcerer and ensured that a longer life could be achieved. The Sith doubted its necessity in this skirmish, at least until he could ascertain his foes prowess.
With that in mind, his light hand extended. Tension was felt in the air around his outstretched hand before a strong Force Push was thrown at Nemo. It was time to toy with his opponent for a bit, see just how this Jedi would react. Once the Force Push was thrown, Malvus charged with his lightsaber ready to slash and clash with his newly founded enemy. A curse, bellowed in Ancient Sith, emitted from his lips, from behind his mask as he charged.

Taking a deep breath, Sirona gave a nod accompanied by a nudge with the Force, indicating she understood. Lowering her still crackling fists to her side, she began a wide circle around the trespasser. The lightning and insults she wished to throw at him was almost uncontainable, but she did so all the same, not wishing to displease her master, or somehow give the opponent a better chance. Her eyes stayed fixed on the Jedi, and she waited ever so patiently for the moment to be hers!

His opponents clearly had no intention of chatting, small talk was clearly not in their interest. However, Nemo had the sense that his words had had the intended effect. A wry smile was drawn across the Jedi Masters face as he witnessed, what he assumed was, an inaudible order given by the masked being. The female nodded to acknowledge something, and Nemo did not expect an enraged Sith to ask politely. This is when the pair split up, a sound tactic, as the female began to circle around the courtyard and the masked man approached Nemo directly.
The darkness inside, what Nemo had decided to assume was a masked man, was very intense indeed. As he moved closer the darkness intensified, it was unlike anything that Nemo had previously felt. It was so distracting that the Jedi nearly missed the warning signs of an impending attack, almost. With little time to react to the Force Push, Nemo crossed his arms in front of his head and leaned forward into the attack. This would not be enough to counter such a powerful use of the Force. As he had done many times before, Nemo pulled himself into the floor with the Force and as the attack hit, he slid backwards across the courtyard. His feet finally got purchase on the dusty ground several metres away from his starting point near the centre of the courtyard.
There was no time for another witticism, shame, as the masked man charged towards Nemo, his blade ready for an attack. Quickly he removed his distinctive shield from his back and secured it to his left arm. His sabre had found its way into his right hand during this well practiced move and it was quickly ignited. The blue blade was prepared to parry the Sith’s opening strike and Nemo’s shielded left arm was prepared to follow up with a shove.

Moments after the action started, a dark figure trundled over the crest of a cliff directly overlooking the unfolding events, perhaps 400 feet above the figures below. Based on this figure's dress, he was a dark sider; one of the old guard from before the rise of the first order. His body language conveyed he was old, his spry days behind him. If the figures below were in tune with his aura, they would recognize he regarded them with an annoyed sense of curiosity, as an elderly man might if he saw kids play on his front lawn.
He had no intention to join in the fray, unless the youngsters invited him down to play.
Havok generally enjoyed the company of the dead to that of the living: hence his current preoccupation with lecturing the souls in the valley of the dark lords. In the present moment he hoped the two dark sider's would kill the light sider- because that would generally calm the dark siders down, and give the light sider what light siders usually want: to become one with the force and become "more powerful than you can possibly imagine."
If Havok had the opportunity to wrangle it, he would to try to observe the transition of the Light Sider from a lower plane of existence, to a higher one. i.e.: DIE, and become a force ghost.

Malvus' lightsaber clashed with Nemo's blue blade, sizzling loudly from the pressure between belligerent's intent and defender's resolve. The shield's strike came around causing him to extend his hand once more, a Force resistance emanating to halt the shield's intended shove. This wasn't an ordinary Jedi... the thought process and the skill, alone, provided Malvus with the confirmation that this was likely a Jedi Master who was his opponent. He was right to inform Sirona to stay back and keep to the perimeters. You are on sacred ground, Jedi... your presence disturbs the dead and taints this fortress.Malvus hisses, through his mask, to Nemo. He shoves slightly, keeping the pressure up.You are bold to come to a tomb world... unless your intention is join the dead!Malvus slashes vertically, shoving off the shield's attack and blunting the defense. The Sith moves back some paces, conjuring up the Force with his free hand. Like Sirona, the cackling of lightning was heard as electricity coursed around his palm, but this was far more powerful. The stone, within his chest, flared to life, emitting screams of the tortured and agonized that were locked within the crystalline construct through the Force. The very life force of the trapped and tormented being drawn by the possessor of the Sith crystal. Dancing from his fingers, a surge of Force Lightning was thrust forward at Nemo. Perhaps the Sith's power could make the Jedi think twice. Otherwise, this could be a drawn out duel. It was doubtful that this Jedi would submit nor surrender though.
Malvus tightened the grip on his lightsaber, readying himself for a certain counter.

Darth Sirona was now behind the Jedi intruder. She was surprised to see the man fighting with a shield as well as a lightsaber. But not surprised enough for her anger to abate. Unless her master commanded it, she would remain on the outskirts of the battle, ready to hurl her readied lightning at the foe. Or she would attempt to prevent an escape, either way she'd be ready to unleash a barrage of force energy that would give any opponent pause. It was a good thing she had trained under Gavin, or else this power she was holding back may have overwhelmed her. But not now, not yet anyway.

The Jedi and the Sith clashed for a prolonged period. Enough time for the Sith to hiss his threats and then break off. This Sith had a presence in the Force that disturbed Nemo in his core. He had met some powerful and dark creatures in his time, but this was totally different. It felt like a great wound, like the Force was being injured by the mere presence of this creature. This darkness began to intensify and Nemo recognised the signs of an incoming attack. He had experienced enough from the previous Force attack and had no desire to withstand another assault. The Jedi Master quickly extended his shielded arm and flung his open palm towards the Sith warrior. The Force Push released from the outstretched hand was a quick defensive move that aimed to give him more time to consider his situation.
The Jedi now found himself between the pair of Sith, not an advantageous position for sure. In order to test both of his opponents, and possibly find a way out of this conflict, Nemo held his shield in front of him and charged at the female Sith. His trailed behind him in his right hand ready to strike when he got close enough.

A smirk formed on Darth Sirona's lips as the Jedi charged at her. She had been waiting, and now for the pay off. Raising both of her hands, blue lightning flashed outward toward her opponent. It had the power of her pint up rage towards the all of the Jedi. No doubt it would meet her foe's shield but it would buy her time to move out of the way. Stepping to the trespasser's left, she kept hidden behind his own shield, or at least on his left side, to make him have to awkwardly slash across his body to attack her. Using her lithe frame and nimble nature to make her hard to hit. The lightning subsided as she drew her light foil and readied it to parry incoming blows. This man was skilled in the Force, and she doubted she'd alone be able to score a hit, so remained wholly on the defensive, waiting for her own Master to arrive and support her.

Malvus slid back slightly at the sudden Force Push. His lightsaber had been ready for a clash with weapons, not with the Force. As the dust settled, and his vision was cleared, the Sith Lord watched as Nemo sought to attack his apprentice. He sensed the danger. Sirona was a good apprentice, but she was not skilled to fight such a threat on her own. However, Nemo's full attention on her did give him a window that the Sith needed. She was bait, in this circumstance, at least, but she wouldn't be for long.
Malvus immediately raised both of his hands, the lightsaber still alive within his right grip as he did so. The Force reached out towards Nemo, slithering towards its intended targets. One grasp sought to grab hold of his right leg, the other the Jedi's left arm. The full intent of which was to cause Nemo to become unbalanced in his strike against Sirona. It was doubtful that the momentum could be stopped, but even a slight imbalance would prove useful in disrupting the intended strike. And, if it worked, Malvus would be ready to spring into action, lightsaber in hand and the Force crackling at his fingertips. If Nemo faltered, he would be at the mercy of his apprentice's fury and rage and the power of her Sith master.

Nemo seemed to understand now, just how powerful Malvus and his apprentice were. While Malvus had complete control, the other had the raw power that may one day match. This fight was too much, even for him. Better to live and warn the Jedi of these Sith poking around Korriban than to die here and take that secret to the grave. He had been slightly thrown off kilter by the Sith Lords attempts to grab his leg and arm, and had thus been unable to land a blow on the younger one. In light of the impending retaliation from the the apprentice, Nemo countered by unleashing a massive push against Sirona. Not expecting such an assault, Sirona went tumbling back across the courtyard. A few bumps, but nothing major. But by the time she was back on her feet, the Jedi scum was already using his Force Speed to get out through the gap he had just made.
Sirona cursed the Jedi for making her appear as such a fool on the tomb world of the mighty Sith and unleashed volleys of Lightning after him, but to little success. If either of them could stop the fleeing Jedi, it would have to be her Master.

The bouts between Jedi Master and Sith Lord continued, even as Sirona was flung away. Malvus moved to the side, preventing a quick escape, but Nemo flung a few more Force Pushes, forcing the Sith to give up some ground. He lunged forward though, using fury and rage to guide his actions as the Jen'ari clashed hard with the Jedi, Nemo, forcing the Jedi to fall back. Still, the lightsabers were traded left and right as Jedi and Sith parried and brought their attacks against one another. Malvus seemed to gain the upper hand as he flung debris with his free hand, forcing Nemo further and further back. A slight collapsed wall was blown apart as the Jedi was flung through it.
Still, the Sith advanced, pushing Nemo back with his sorcery, crackling at his fingertips. Eventually, a blow came with Force Lightning slammed into the Jedi and threw him over a ledge. The Sith rushed to the edge... and found nothing. His eyes scanned left and right, the Jedi's presence gone. Was he dead? Hard to tell. The Sith then moved from the ledge and went back to the courtyard, not realizing that Nemo had used those precious seconds to escape.
...Jedi...
The Sith's tongue hisses at the mention of those words. His eyes locked upon the ancient structure that the Jedi had wandered in.
...Jedi... they are always the thorn in our sides...

As the Jedi fell and it seemed he would no longer trouble the pair, Darth Sirona let out a rage filled howl. While uncharacteristic of her usually quite and unassuming self, this had been something of a sore spot for her. What should have been one of the greatest days in Darkside archaeology had been sullied by the presence of a filthy, light filled, quipy Jedi. She then spoke some of her earlier thoughts out load.
How- How DARE he! How dare he come to this holiest and most reverent of worlds and sully it with his presence! He insults our dead by being here! How could this happen?! How has it come to this? Our birthplace as a creed, as a religion; our tomb world for our mightiest! How could Jedi come here and disrespect the dead?
Her anger was great and raw and primal. She wanted to hold his still beating heart in her hands and then crush it. But she had been robbed of that for the time being. But soon the lashing out had turned to a sadness. Sirona sank to her knees as she traced patterns in the dust.
This was our find! This wholly intact fortress. But if one Jedi has found it perhaps others have as well, and already looted it of it's precious secrets...

The anger was mutual. However, whereas his apprentice let forth her rage in the fashion of those still learning to hone it, the Sith's hand reached out and grabbed hold of a good piece of debris. Slowly, cracks were heard as the rock, immense in size and depth, began to break under the pressure of the Force. Then it exploded into a shower of smaller pieces. The gaze of Malvus looked over the edge and into the fog riddled canyon below. Nothing was sensed.
The Jedi and others have long looted this world, Sirona. It is just that... it has been a long time since a Jedi was sighted here.
The Sith Lord walks away from the ledge, walking through the ruined courtyard to return to his apprentice. His eyes shifted upward, gazing at the ancient fortress. The Sith's eyes bore into the structure before they slowly shifted above it, to the unseen stars above them.
...and yet our focus is on the Imperials... while the Jedi seem to have recovered from the Felucian raid.
A Jedi's presence here was a bold statement. Intelligence, in the Blackguard, even spoke of a cadre of Jedi Lords, as they called themselves, that were far more militant and had an eye for the stars rather than keeping to a single world. Lord Malvus flexes his gloved hand slightly, the anger within him still boiling.
That is why this world was violated, Sirona.
His gaze then shifted to his apprentice.
That is why he was allowed to walk upon this surface.

Sirona struck the ground by her knee with a clinched fist. Her rage was fluctuating casting silent blame all. She had been sheltered too long on Iridonia and Mustifar, far from the places that truly mattered to her and needed protecting. And where was the protection for such a sacred place? Should a fleet not have been in orbit? Should garrisons of troops and sith not be on the ground? Sirona rained in her rage, focusing it now on the Jedi. They should have learned that this galaxy doesn't need them anymore, that the galaxy is better without their meddling. Rising up off her knees she turned toward her master.
I want them all to burn.

His apprentice had quite the flare for the Jedi. His former apprentice, Luxeria, was all about the art of seduction and the usage of sorcery to heighten her abilities. Sirona had a very harsh disdain and hatred, a source of great potential and power within his newest apprentice. He gazes at the ancient fortress, the howls of wind echoing through its empty hallways were slightly noticed from where the pair stood in the courtyard.
And they will burn, apprentice. The Jedi have... been left to their own designs for too long.
His gaze turns to Sirona.
But the Sith'ari is adamant in his desires to see the First Order destroyed before the Jedi Order. This diversion from our true foe will lead to our destruction as it has many times before. Even one Jedi can be enough to destroy a whole empire.
Malvus spoke of the Skywalkers, namely Luke and Cade, both of whom brought down the reigns of two Sith Emperors. A Solo, Jaina, ensured the end of her twin brother's ambitions of a new empire as well. One Jedi, one single bit of light, and the Sith's plans could be entirely unfoiled.
Perhaps a new bulwark is needed to fight the Jedi... one that is entirely focused on their extermination.
Malvus' words hissed, like that of a snake. His eyes glance at his apprentice to see her reaction.

Sirona heard her master's words, at first they seemed to roll off of her in her anger. But after a moment, she seemed to process what was said, and with it several implications. This was it. The moment that she feared would come. When the Sith turned on one another and destroyed everything they had achieved to this point. Was she to be the first victim? A move to send a message to the Sith'ari, her adopted father? Was this why Malvus took her as an apprentice? To bring her here and kill her in some ritual to the long dead Sith for their blessing? All the implications horrified the woman as she took a step back. The words though, despite her new fear of Malvus, wormed into her mind. On one hand, he was right, it did seem negligent on her Father's part to leave this planet so vulnerable and to have underestimated their people's greatest foe. But on the other, how was she to think of betraying her Father, the man who had shown mercy and compassion in an order where things were so rare? She could feel Malvus' eyes on her as she took another step back, afraid. She stood no chance if he did seek to kill her. Fear gripped her heart for a coming conflict with her master, but also born of the fact that he was right. I- if you seek to wage war against my father, I can do nothing to stop you, Master. And if you ask me to betray him... I don't know if I have that in me. You are right though. I freely admit that. But I fear to take another step down this path you forge. One way or another...

Malvus turns to his apprentice, seeing the fear in her eyes. These were understandable things. In truth, the Sith had never intended to find a Jedi here, had never intended to seek to betray he who he had merged with, but the Jedi's presence here had broken a final straw. The Sith Lord continues to look at Sirona, not daring to take his eyes off of her. She could easily draw her lightsaber and lunge at him just as she expected it from him.
I do not seek a war against fellow Sith, Sirona. That would be just as foolish. That would only ensure our downfall. The Sith glances for a second at the fortress, but his senses remain alive and aware. The Jen'ari's eyes dart across the structure, the immense fortress, that had stood here for so long and endured the galaxy's changes and the various hands that had come to claim this world and had long since vanished.
You say you do not know if you have that in you... yet why would a father cloister his daughter within the Obelisk? Why is it only that when you come to see me that your wings are free to extend and send you soaring? This path will set you FREE, Sirona! There is no greater parent than that of the Dark Side! No greater tie than to that of darkness!
The Sith turns, fist clenched tightly.
This path will set us all free! Free to attack our ancient foe! Free to ensure they suffer for their existence!
The Sith speaks sharply before gesturing around him.
WHERE ARE THE GUARDS OF THIS WORLD?! WHERE ARE HER SACRED PROTECTORS?!
Malvus barks before pointing above them at his own warship that could seen, floating above the clouds.
There. Under my command, Sirona. Because I understand the reverence of this world more than any. Because this world needs more protection than I could have imagined!
Malvus clenches his fist tightly before lashing out, sending a Force Push that blew some debris away.
I wish I had sensed a Jedi here... but now I see that something clouds my eyes and has dulled my senses. They must be sharpened once more! Sharpened to bring chaos and suffering to the Jedi! To see them extinct forever more!!
