*Garqi's terrain was primarily plains, rainforests, and oceans. Natural elements in Garqi's crust gave the native plant life a purple coloration.*

He had to admit that the First Order had done better than he had expected. When Nicademus proclaimed the Empire dead his heart had sank, and their fledgling ideas that started on Muunilisnt had seemed so unattainable. Yet here he was now on Gargi ordered to defend one of hundred of cargo trains on the planet. What made this one so special was unknown to him. He had never asked Delvaradus when he had been sent here. Although theoretically there was a manifest somewhere he didnt look at it. All he knew was that the train was thirty cars long and that something here was very important. Important to have Imperial Knights on board.
Walking through the cars was normal. Stormtroopers nodded to him as he passed. Everything was secured in boxes and under tarps. Outside the train blew by millions of acres of fields growing food for the galaxy at large. He could see a light breeze blowing, but if one was to step outside the wind would be much faster due to the speed they were travelling.
Turning sideways to get between two boxes he momentarily got stuck, his red armour almost to thick to fit between the boxes. Using a little force he pushed his way through scuffing the paint on his armour and tearing his cape a little bit. All in all this seemed like it would be another routine run.

Cars 11,12,13,14
(Continuing from orbit)
QS-100 dove in a steep dive through the atmosphere, targeting the co-ordinates that had been provided by their underworld contacts - supposedly a mag-lev train containing highly valuable war materials (well, "pre-war" according to galactic tensions) would be traveling across the surface of Garqi. GARQI - an agriworld? Please. It was almost too good to be true. Never the less, the Elders in the Quincy family had directed for a detachment to assault the trains - gambling that the rumors were, in fact, true. As the light cruiser dove through the atmosphere, an confirmation of the presence of a Mag-Lev train was relayed to Commander Cormac - all he could do was sigh. In relief or irritation? Well, that was another matter entirely. "Commence phase one." Cormac muttered into his rebreather comlink. From the Guardian, gaining sensor lock, a pair of ion torpedoes screamed forth from the ships underslung launcher - whether the torpedoes struck the train, and what kind of damage they did, who could say? This was not Cormac's concern. "Twenty seconds to contact. Separation in five, four, three, two, one..." With a lurch, the Rapid Deployment Airspeeders detached from the underside of the light cruiser, their thrusters roaring, one heading for car 11, 12, 13, and 14 respectively. "Ten seconds to insertion." The troop bays of the speeders and cruiser opened, and the commandoes dangled by their rappel lines - weapons ready. "Five seconds to insertion." The airspeeders and cruiser leveled out of their dive - their thrusters and emergency thrusters firing and straining against gravity. "Contact! Go, go, go!" Rappel line motors whirred, and sixty Quincy commandoes descended down from the sky before coming to heavy landings on top of the trains - their magneto adhesive boots giving them even footing atop the windy train. Breaching charges were set, and - unless deterred - a series of small contained explosions (directed downward) would breach open the tops of each train. Following the blasts, gas grenades (knockout gas) and stun grenades would be thrown liberally by the fifteen troops atop each train into the cars below, again, barring intervention. Depending on the success - or failure - of the ion torps fire mere seconds before, the weapons, equipment, and various security features of the trains cars (only 11, 12, 13, and 14) as well as their security details may, possibly, be nullified or severely hampered.

Cars 20-26 The train had some high ranking pasangers on board as well. Officer's families, ranking party members, and ranking government people. Car 23 was the Buffet car. It was overseen by a young proud bartender. She was hired with great references and focused on being good at her job. People seemed to like her instantly, she got to know them well and quickly. She was in a white and black uniform tunic. Tasteful in imperial traditions, but she wore one that was a little on the small tighter side. Everyone, I am Chloe Listyr, your host for the ride. Please let me know if I can do anything to make your trip any better. She spoke into the passenger intercom system. She made sure the server droids were all ready with plans for the oreder and knew where everything was. She would have preferred to have droids she had worked with before, but the First Order insisted on repurposing their own droids. Something about security. They would do the job, as long as they didn't cost her tips. She gets ready for a quiet and profitable trip.

A custom BARC speeder, kitted out in leather casing, jumped up from its hiding place near the tracks. Mig had spent the last slow, boring, two weeks hiding there. Avoiding patrols had been somewhat fun, but it didn't give him a chance to stretch his engines. This train however was different, this was the train he was contracted to hijack. The plan was simple, take the engine room & prevent the train from being stopped, at any cost.
Matching speed with the train was difficult, gaining ground on it was nearly impossible. Mig was already itching to see just how fast he could get the train going once he got inside. That thought, & a heavy hand on the accelerator, pulled him even with the lead car. Flying in close as he could, he drew his filed down C-52. Aiming across his body & using the arm still keeping the speeder bike under control as a brace, the jawa loosed a flurry of bolts into the door of the massive craft. A solid hit on the control panel managed to open the door, but only after chewing a good dozen rapid pocks in the door & frame.
Swinging his speeder bike wide, Mig gunned his engines straight at the train. At the last possible moment, he jumped from the seat, letting momentum carry him through the open door. Rolling smoothly to his feet, his other C-52 slid smoothly out its holster, both pistols held wide in a Guns Akimbo stance to cover any possible threats. Behind him the bike swung high & vanished into the sky, waiting for the call that would bring it back to its master.
A mechanical rasp issued from beneath the veil of beads hanging from his hat.
-Mig Howdy Y'all, this is a hold up.

The Northspear made a small sonic boom resonate throughout the air as it breached the atmosphere of Garqi, the crew only now just starting to slow the craft's speed slightly because of the atmospheric friction which was also causing the gunship to slow down. The crew ensured the ship maintained its altitude, as they guided it over the maglev train tracks, before the loading ramp retracted back, creating a hole in the floor of the cockpit. Rawkill stood on one side, wearing nothing more than his Jedi Robes and his assortment of lightsabers, as he looked across to where Andrew was standing opposite him =Jedi Master Rawkill= You ready for this? Well... too late now. I'll see you down there! Rawkill had to almost shout over the sound of the air as it rushed by and a few gusts of wind blew up into the cockpit, before he jumped up into the air before disappearing down through the hole. The Ewok suddenly felt the air rushing past him as he free fell through the air, his eyes closing for a moment as he found himself calmed by the feel of weightlessness. Although they were meant to be providing something of a distraction for Alpharius, Morgan, and Keith, they still needed to do their best to keep things as low key as possible about who they were with. It was for that reason, that Rawkill had opted for them to do a HALO jump. As the Jedi Master opened his eyes, he used the force to enhance his vision as he studied the train below, and noted that they didn't seem to be the only one's who had plans to raid this particular service.
What ever was on this train, had certain attracted a lot of attention, which meant that his and Andrew's job would be all that much easier, since the other attackers were hitting the front carriages. He then shook his head as he returned his attention to his current situation, with the roof of the train fast approaching, but he waited it out a moment longer, the carriages continuing to pass by underneath him, before he used a well timed TK summersault and force push to slow his descent, landing safely on the roof of the 28th carriage. He quickly stood up and used a force push to send the stormtrooper that had been climbing up onto the roof into the back of the car in front, knocking him out as he landed on the paltform below. As he waited for Andrew to land, the Ewok took a seat on the roof and pulled out his datapad and began executing a number of programs to try connect into the train's internal network and work out the layout of this train

*Merriment, civility, and the thick feeling of pretentiousness filled the Car 23. In the corner, a pompous Bith band played classical music for the enjoyment of the officers and their families. High pitched laughs accompanied each note of the arrangement as this aristocratic party continued, and Cadomedd couldn't handle one more second of it. There amongst the snobbish brood he sat, large, blue, and understandably out of place. Why on earth did Andrew think it was a good idea for him to be their inside man? After spending 12 years on the outer rim, Cad thought his Jedi-partner-in-crime would understand that an oversized Nelvaanian plus subtlety was cocktail of trouble.*
"You'll be fine, Cad" *Thought the Nelvaanian trying to loosen his collar with his sausage-like fingers* "Remember Cadomedd, you are acting as a senator. You need the First Order to support your nefarious political hobbies of greed and deception. You have to be classy, you have to be debonair, you have to be fancy...you need a drink."
*Cadomedd slapped a smile on his face, large, white and full of teeth. He stood up from his table and began to move through the dining room. Andrew would be making his way onto the train soon, he just had to be patient. The hulking fur carpet moved through the dining room, repeating his stealthy mantra underneath his breath.
"Smile, wave, don't make eye contact. Smile, Wave, don't make eye contact. Smile, wave, don't make eye contact...YOU ARE SMILING TO MUCH!"

Car 23 The young host and bartender, gives her guests a quick once over. She always was good at reading people and her hunches normally paid off. She noticed a big Nelvaanian, and he gave her pause. Her intuition said that he was uncomfortable. She checked her dossier, he was some kind of senator. Should be a good tipper. She made her way over. She could read that he was clearly uncomfortable, the noise seemed to be getting the better of him. Good afternoon sir, their is a seat available at the bar. You may be more comfortable there. And of course all drinks for passengers of this car are complementary. Her voice sweet and melodic, very soothing to the ear. She put her hand on his large shoulder in a comforting gesture. She thought comforting thoughts toward him. It still sounded silly to her, but it seemed to help people calm down.

Whilst her bigger brothers and sister were off liberating Deralia from the Jedi Order that had lorded over the people there, Atlantia Ren had been forced to stay behind, instead being assigned to aide Azria Delvardus, the sister of the Supreme Commander, with some mission out on Garqi. Although she'd not been made privy to all of the details, the fact that a handful of Imperial Knights and the Supreme Commander's sister were aboard this train, made her suspect something important was aboard this train, other than Azria herself. At the very least, she wasn't entirely alone, with Harnan having given her command of a squad of Riot Control Troopers, just in case something happened and she needed backup. Of all the Knights, he was her favourite, despite the fact she knew he fancied Illaria over her, but that was fine with her, since he still kept an eye out for her.
She had been sitting in meditation when it had begun, the Guardian-class Light Cruiser was the first to descend from orbit and fire ion torpedoes upon the 11th through 14th carriages, her HUD displaying a helpful diagram of what was going on. But theirs was not the sole attack, with the propulsion car flashing next, the door controls having been shot at, allowing an uninvited guest entry to it. Already, Stromtroopers and Imperial Knights were mobilizing to combat these arrivals, meaning she could remain where she was for the time being. That was, until she felt a shift in the force, causing her to reach out her senses, probing for the presence that she had felt, and there she found it. He was the first to arrive that she had sensed in the force, and she knew straight away who it was that had just landed on the train, just by his signature alone, with her suspicions being confirmed as a popup appeared on her HUD.
The network was being sliced, and they'd soon have access to the passanger list, the cargo manifest, and a brief layout of where everything was located in the train. So this was why so much security had been assigned to this particular trip, because the First Order had expected an attack to take place, and obviously they had not wanted to take any chances that the Jedi would catch them unawares. She hopped off the crate she had been sitting on, signalling for her Troopers to remain where they were, as she quickly hurried to the next carriage to find Azria, quickly bowing to the woman It appears we have some company... Several pirates are attacking the forward cars, whilst a Jedi has arrived upon the rear... I suggest you get somewhere safe, whilst I deal with our interloper...

The train shook as the ion torpedoes went off causing Panno to stumble forward. Grabbing onto the handle that was conveniently placed beside the door to the eighth cabin he waited until the shaking was complete. Standing up Panno opened the door and walked into the next compartment. Unlike the one before this one had some amenities. Unofficially this was the car were the guards went for breaks, be they Storm Troopers, Imperial Knights or just random engineers on the train. Boxes had been pushed aside and in the middle were multiple seats, and even a little "bar" had been set up. Everything in here was a mess. Helmets had rolled onto the floor, glasses dropped and alcohol spilled. He even saw one person take some extra money from a card game while everyone else was distracted.
Break time is over everyone, something is up and we need to be on guard not lazing around.
Even though he could not see everyones eyes he could tell all the humans in the room rolled theirs. If there is one solid foundation in nearly every Imperial train of thought it was Xenophobia. Humans are better than everything else, and what would this Dressillian know? He is just an alien.
Putting his finger up to his ear he keyed in his mike to get in contact with one of the Knights of Ren on board.
Atlantia whats going on back there? Felt like something hit the train.

Azria Delvardus, younger sister to the Supreme Commander and one of the First Order’s premier Psytechs, was quietly reclining on one of the crash couches in her personal train car. Holopad in her lap, she was keeping a close eye on the First Order’s troops stationed throughout the train. Most of those assembled for this operation were veteran Stormtroopers with very few cadets interspersed within their ranks. Where most looked at her and saw a cold-hearted young woman, those that were truly acquainted with her knew differently. The Psytech was one of the few in the First Order who did not see the Stormtroopers under her care as nothing more than nameless and faceless disposable troops. They were more than that to her and while they were identified by letters and numbers, and nothing more – she ensured they were taken care of. It was one of the more positive traits her eldest brother possessed that had rubbed off on her.
All variety of telemetry data from the biosensors affixed to each individual Stormtrooper flashed across the screen of her holopad. Every so often she would have to comm one of the new recruits informing them that their readings were in an unacceptable range. ‘FO-4522, biosensors have indicated that your heart rate is 3.5% above the acceptable range. Correct this immediately.’ The response was always prompt. She really did care, truly. Reading through further reports, Azria crossed one slender leg over the other as she reached over for her glass of stim tea and brought the mug to her lips, taking a sip. Pausing in her work a moment, she looked up and took note of the troopers standing at attention around the car. The comm units in their helmets began to click wildly, indicating that messages were being relayed. One trooper was just about to approach the Psytech when Atlantia Ren burst into her car.
Azria simply arched a single eyebrow as she looked up at the Knight of Ren, taking another sip of her stim tea before gracefully placing the mug on the side table located where she was sitting. Silently watching the woman as she spoke, her body language reflected the calm and control the Psytech possessed. She had not come this far without some semblance of self-control. Expressive blue eyes studied the Knight, though they were more steel blue in colour, ringed with the deepest indigo – her gaze intense and cold like ice. Many often felt an electrical chill run the length of their spines in her presence, the way she held herself with unquestionable confidence – she did not seek to capture others' attention, but rather to defy it. Still, the woman remained quiet and motionless as if the gears of her mind were churning in the silence. Finally, she placed her holopad on the side table as well before standing and placing herself toe to toe with the Knight of Ren. Not many had courage enough to do such a thing for the Knights of Ren had gained a wild reputation for being particularly unpredictable at times. However, she had yet to build a profile on this Atlantia Ren for this was her first contact with the woman. Standing there, she brushed a hand down her uniform, one, which was of standard First Order issue and did not denote her rank nor standing within the military. Though, those that knew her face did not need any reminder of exactly who she is. The dark uniform was newly pressed and in clean order, lined in armorweave given that she opted to forego her usual ensemble of chromium armour.
At last, she deigned to speak, her voice was unexpected. It was in the mid-range with just enough sensuality to be agreeable in this context and with a hint of power more than her short stature would suggest. It was educated and intelligent, her Imperial accent heavy. Though, it was clear she was disciplined and rather accustomed to others obeying her orders without question. However, she does not take this tone of authority with the woman in front of her. She was smoother, quieter, and more professional – speaking in measured cadences.
“My dear Knight of Ren, do not let it slip your mind that I did not get to where I am today without participating in a few firefights.” She scoffs and the Stormtroopers in the car recoil, wincing and are surprised she does not reprimand the Knight of Ren. Azria had learned how to deal with and behave around Force users at her eldest brother’s insistence, so she was perfectly comfortable with treating them as her equal. “I daresay the safest place for myself would be near you, yes?” It is less of a question and more of a command; however, it is the Knight of Ren’s choice. Azria reaches down and unbuckles the strap on her holster for her SE-44C blaster pistol before walking over to the other side of the room and stepping behind the small bar to open one of the cabinets. Pulling out a F-11D blaster rifle with a chromium finish, stock, and recurved trigger guard, she places it on the bar before turning back once more. Grabbing something smaller, she slips it into her breast pocket before removing a small, serrated combat knife and strapping it to her thigh. Picking up the blaster rifle, she turns to Atlantia, “Shall we?”

It created an interesting dynamic as the tall pretty red head rose to her feet and stood toe to toe with the almost two foot shorter Knight of Ren, causing Atlantia to have to look up at Azria. But despite the fear that she instilled in the Stormtroopers with her mere presence, Atlantia was unphased by it, and as the taller woman spoke, she had a genuine moment of respect for her. Where others would have looked down upon her because of her height, Azria treated her as an equal, and unlike many of the pretty faces that tended to litter the upper echelons of such military command structures, Azria's looks were mere another tool that the woman utilised to hide her tougher underside. Technically, she couldn't argue with Azria's answer about staying by her side, since all Atlantia had told her to do was find somewhere safe, and that was indeed probably close by to the Knight of Ren. She smiled behind her mask as she looked to the bar as Azria finished strapping the last of her weapons on Very well First Commissar, just dont blame me if someone shoots your butt... Speaking of her butt, despite the fact Atlantia wasn't into women in that way, she had to admit from the view she got at her shorter height, that Azria had a pretty nice one, and well worth keeping unshot at. With the decision made that they were going to be working together, Atlantia sent a quick message to her Riot Control Troopers with orders to gather on the roof of the 18th car, whilst she lead Azria through the carriage and out the rear doors, just as a message came through on her comm link from Panno, asking for a sit rep. She used the force to aide her in jumping up onto the roof of the 19th car, which Azria could access by climbing the service ladder, before she looked back towards the front of the train, the HUD scanning the ships that were hovering above the middle of the train, the feed connecting to one of the monitors that Panno could see Looks like some of the cars were hit with ion torpedo's, I'm not picking anything up from their sensors. But looks like we've got some Rapid Deployment Airspeeders dropping off some friends for you. And check on the engine car, the door controls registered a malfunction...

Car(s) 30 and 29 Staring out into the violet-hued horizon passing him by, FN-3266 sighed in pleasurable relief. This was the dream posting he'd been after for ages, and now that he had finally gotten it, he believed that there was nothing that could ruin his day. The Republic was dead, and who would dare to stand against the rising might of the First Order? The Jedi were nothing more than hermits, concerned with how secure their walls had become in their ignorance. They would sit idly by and watch as the Order marched across the Galaxy, unable to finally act when their soldier's stormed the temple gates. The Sith were mostly silent in comparison. Either they had flocked to the banner of the First Order craving to grasp at the fraying ends of their power or hid behind a veil of secrets - unwilling to be persecuted by those they sought to enslave. It would matter little in the end which path they chose, as the Sith were no longer the predominant force in the Universe.
Not like the dark times.
The Hapans were no threat to the First Order either, as their pitiful Navy was growing outclassed and outnumbered with each passing day. They simply were unable to keep up with the swelling beast that had become the Imperial War Machine. Millions of Men, and Hundreds of warships. It was to be like the Good Ol' Days again; his Captain had said after his transfer orders were cleared through Frontier Command. When Separatists feared the very notion of an Imperial Star Destroyer showing up in their system's orbit. When the people of the Galaxy felt safe and secure in the thought that the Empire was protecting them from themselves, and ensuring Order throughout the Stars. Though, unlike his Commanding Officer, FN-3266 was unsure of how that would ultimately pan out in the end. Without an Emperor, how exactly could there be an Empire? He shrugged at the thought, as the train had begun to slow its relentless pace.
While the engineers that had come before the First Order were Imperial, the soldier had to admit that they weren't the brightest tools in the shed. A Maglev train shouldn't have so many sharp bends in its route. They should've just plowed through the base of the dormant volcano and carried on with the remainder of the track. No! Instead, they were forced to go around it by the order of some pacifist in power. Had to appear like they had given some consideration to the locals, rather than rolling over their lobbying committee with iron-shod boots and primed blasters - as true Imperials would. Laughing to himself as the image played through his mind, the Stormtrooper had missed a growing shadow pooling at his feet. It wasn't until the train had shifted onto another set of tracks that he noticed something was off.
His helmet's communication bead was beginning to fill with static, just as the last transmission had mentioned that something wasn't right. With no orders and being unable to reach his Commander, the Trooper armed himself with his blaster rifle and stepped out onto the flatbed car attached to the mobile bunker at the end of the Maglev. Though he was alone at the end of the line, should whatever this disturbance be worthy enough to be considered a threat, all he had to do was withdraw into the armoured car and cycle up the powerful quad cannons. That was until..."Oh, frak me!"As his first boot had locked onto the surface of the empty freight car, the Stormtrooper had come face to face with a midnight clad vessel that defied all conventional sensors embedded within his helmet. The cargo ramp was lowered and extended over the surface of the flat deck, with a solitary figure locked to the grating. It took a second for his targeting reticule to appear, as his rifle was shouldered, and in that span of time - the man had notched a crude looking arrow and drew back on the string. Of all the things he didn't wish to see this day, that stranger with a primitive weapon was one of them. In the seconds it had taken him to overcome his shock, and shoulder his rifle, the man had loosened his grip on the fletched shaft. He wanted to laugh. Did they not think that the Empire had learned from their mistakes on Endor? Did this stranger believe that his -
He was unable to finish the thought, as the arrow tore through his plastoid breastplate and sunk deep into his shoulder. The paralytic toxin coating the arrowhead crashed through his system like an unforeseen tidal wave.
Alpharius lowered the bow, as the Stormtrooper was thrown from his feet and landed in a crumpled pile between the two cars. Without even wasting a moment to consider how well his shot had been, especially since he was dealing with the conflicting forces of nature and the Jedi aboard his vessel, the Infiltrator dropped down from the Aurelian's ramp and onto the deck of the twenty-ninth car. His gaze had swept the grated floor, looking for anything out of place, before moving towards the rearmost car.:: We're clear, :: He said as his masked eyes scoured the exterior of the armoured wagon and finding nothing of note. :: Let's get started, shall we? ::

*And so the Aurelian descended toward the surface, Keith visibly motionless, while on the inside he may as well have been twitching uncontrollably, eager to charge straight into this op. He had a level head about him; anything but absolute discipline was unacceptable in these situations. But he had to at least acknowledge his excitement for this mission.
Excitement... Perhaps an inappropriate emotion, but for one such as he, who'd grown up on the battlefield, it was what he craved. Was trained to do. He knew his target, his goals, his rank and charges. He knew the call signs all had been assigned to keep their identities and points-of-origin secret. Had studied it and reviewed it, not just by himself but with Corinne, and Morgan as well. And he was about to put all that knowledge to use...
The first and only visible target was taken care of by Alpharius's bow. That made him the second member of this party to use such a weapon, next to Morgan; curious that such a primitive weapon was in such apparent common use still. Especially on an op like this. But it proved effective enough to remove the first trooper, and the brief glance Keith obtained showed that these troopers were not donning the typical armor known of Imperial stormtroopers. No, this design, while similar, seemed obviously upgraded. Had that happened during his years of absence, or was it even more recent than that?
Once the Aurelian had offered a proper disembarking position, Keith stepped off the ship's ramp and landed, surefooted, on its surface. He too took a quick sweep, both visually and with his scanners. Seeing things weren't out of place, he nodded to Alpharius.* "Leave it to me," *he responded, approaching the rear car's door.
It was sealed shut. Keith holstered his rifle as his eyes examined the entrance for weak points. Then he set his feet, drew back his fists, and struck. The frame of the door gave way with repeated strikes, denting and exposing the door's upper edge. He then threw both of his fists forward, smashing into the bulkhead and gripping the top of the door. Then, with a metallic whine, he tore it free, tossing it harmlessly over the tracks, the crunch of impact swallowed up by the rushing air all around them.
Once more taking up his rifle, Keith then stepped inside, examining the current surroundings. Empty, no one else present. A premade bunker, with access to the defensive cannon wide open to them. Perfect. His eyes scanned quickly for some kind of terminal, spotting one beside the cannon. Stepping forward, he raised his hand over the holoprojector, allowing the AI housed within his suit to interface directly with the system and upload herself into it. Removing his hand, the holographic form of a woman appeared, announcing,* "I'm in, but there's something else in here. An Imperial AI. Why they would use one on a train like this is anyone's guess, unless they're transporting something a little more important than just your average arms..."
*An Imperial AI? Keith had the same inkling as Corinne before she voiced it; this wouldn't be as simple as he'd hoped then.* "Just keep trying, you'll outsmart it." *Turning to Alpharius, he asked,* "Know something we don't?"

*A soldier. That's what Keith had declared her. That's what she now was. Not just a participant or assistant, but a soldier. She had been hesitant to submit to him, but she was a soldier now. To her, this was a great honor, and she wouldn't have accepted anyone else as her superior other than Keith. Well, besides her daddy, and Mama, and maybe Michelle, but they were Jedi; that was different! She was a soldier here! She could take orders. She could perform to the best of her ability and make her sergeant proud!
If he had been trying to make her take the mission more seriously than she already had, it certainly worked. Before, she felt like a tagalong, a mere support class next to the other skilled warriors she was storming this train with. But now she truly felt like a piece of the puzzle, a part of the team. She belonged here, on this mission.
She wasn't even dressed like a soldier, she felt, but that was one aspect she was okay not fitting the bill in. She'd decided to come to the mission dressed like a Felucian warrior, donning the dark tan sleeveless dress crafted her by a Felucian woman. Woven about the waist and neck like a belt and necklace were various multicolored stones, teeth bones of various Felucian fauna, and tassels with tiny stones woven within them. Her weapons of choice were also unconventional. A primitive-made bow and quiver of arrows hung from her right shoulder, while a lengthy whip—radiating a purple, misty hue—curled about her left shoulder; her lightsaber, normally found on her hip, was tucked hidden beneath the quiver, only to use when necessary. The only visible piece of technology on her was the comlink on her "belt" and the earbud in her ear, placed there to allow her to listen to her team's comm chatter.
The arrows were tipped with arrowheads carved from rancor bone. Normally, useless against an armored foe, such as a stormtrooper. However, due to the trace amount of Force-reactive crystals found in native creatures of Felucia, they were charged with energy, making them far more deadly weapons than they appeared.
Surprisingly, the commanding officer of the mission also carried a bow, only far more advanced than her own. It had been both surprising and exciting to know they shared a weapon, though she was certain he was far more skilled than she. As proven by his apparent successful first shot taking out the guard of the rear cars; she hadn't been able to see who was guarding or if the shot had connected, but she had felt the mild sting of death in the Force. She took a breath and sighed; this was why she had meditated earlier, to focus, to steel herself for what came, to prepare for the inevitable deaths that would come. That was the first of many. She couldn't let them get to her.
When first Alpharius and then Keith— Sergeant Keith had disembarked, Morgan followed behind, leaping from the ramp and landing, barefoot, in a crouch, bow holding an arrow but not drawn. She looked back and forth, tossing the wind-swept hair out of her face as she scanned both visually and through the Force for additional foes. When the situation was clear, she looked toward Keith as he made for the rear car's door, rather brutally removing it before stepping inside with rifle drawn. Morgan rushed up to his other side, drawing her bow back as she too peered within, looking for hidden threats.
When none showed themselves, she entered the car, loosening the string on the arrow and lowering the bow, watching, listening. Corinne mentioned something about an opposing AI that would make things a little less difficult than before, and also deemed the train more valuable than originally suspected. Had they come upon a secret operation? Or did Alpharius know about this from the start? She found her gaze drawn toward their commanding officer as Sergeant Keith directed a question to him, her also awaiting the answer...*

Car 28
Wabash Cannonball - Andrew North, Cadomedd, Rawkill ... and others Hey Parker, you ever rob a bank that's being robbed? - Nathan Ford, Leverage
"Hey North, you're thirty minutes are up,"
The jump sergeant looked down at the chronometer on his wrist, before looking down at Andrew, who sat back against the wall of the North Spear's central room, head up, and hands on his knees. Andrew nodded slowly, taking one final breath from the respirator, adding to the looseness in his muscles. Pure oxygen has a relaxing, almost buzzing feeling when it saturates your bloodstream. North welcomed it, it took the edge off jumping.
He'd jumped like this before, but at least with jumping, absence doesn't make the heart grow fonder. Tatooine. He jumped over Tatooine to deal with border skirmishes between edge towns and a belligerent community of Tusken raiders. At least this time, it wasn't into the desert.
"That should get the nitrogen out of your bloodstream. You'll need to keep breathing out of that canister, or you'll go hypoxic. You have an hour's worth left, should be enough to get you to the target. "
Andrew gave another quick nod and slowly stood up, feeling his balance. The new gear was heavier than he liked, it always was, Echani, even ones removed from society, had almost a genetic prejudice against encumbrance. North wore an insulated, grey, jumpsuit over his usual clothes, with a bottle of oxygen strapped to his side. His face hidden behind the polarized glass of an angular flight helmet. For the jump, he wore a jetpack, standard, Z-6 style, without the warhead.
His suit's weight was unwelcome, but necessary. Without it he'd freeze to death on the way down, or pass out from the G-Force. Again, jumping wasn't exactly Andrew's idea of a good time. At least, not jumping onto a moving target from a few miles above it. It'd be like hitting a mosquito with a hold-out blaster. Generally unpleasant, with a great chance of making a scorch-marked mess.
On paper, the jump read simple. At least, simpler than hijacking the 3:10 Imperial Supply Train to Depot #5 and making it off in one piece, with the artifacts. Drop from a few miles up, avoid the 3:10's guns, and land on the moving train without causing alarm. Simple thought Andrew. Don't pass out, land on the train, and don't wake the dead. I'm getting to old for this.
"Master Rawkill, North. The High Altitude, Low-Opening Jump is the most dangerous kind of jump regularly performed within the atmosphere. You'll be jumping from 10,000 meters, and will be, in you're case North, burning your jets at about 1,000 meters. You'll be coming in hot, and fast, so don't make any quick turns or you'll pass out and splatter yourself against the train."
Andrew smiled under the polarized shield. Every jump, the same lecture. The same motions, the same ritual, all done to prepare the nerves for the sheer fact that they'll be rocketed out into freefall. He gave a quick nod to the jump sergeant as he ran over the mission parameters in his head.
Alpharius had been a bit cagey about the details, so other than the expected quantities of energy weapons, explosive weapons, and other Imperial un-pleasantries, this seemed like an ordinary run. But, to Andrew anyway, the armaments alone didn't add up. Since the Remnant went into it's slow, steady, rearming, shipments like this were noise, static in the constant stream of chaos that was the Outer Rim Sector reports, and not just on Garqi, either. Why target just another shipment, especially with Jedi assistance?
The order had enough of a target painted on the back of it's head from the Kashyyyk conflicts, why risk the specter of open war to disrupt a seemingly routine run?
That's where the logic gets dodgy, Andrew bit the side of his lip and shook his head slightly. Master Rawkill said he suspected old artifacts, Sith, most likely aboard the train. Why would the Remnant be trafficking those, so far from the home base on Muunilinst... None of this adds up right. .
For that at least, Andrew agreed with Master Rawkill's decision to accompany Alpharius. If the situation went south, they'd need support to get off the train. However, another variable didn't seem to fit in the equation either. Why the hell were there civilians on a military supply train?
The schedules for months hadn't included civilian components, just guns, stormtroopers, and the occasional Imperial Knight to oversee more tactically important cargo. Not one train before the 3:10 included civilians. Especially not officers, moffs, or other high-brass. It seemed the Remanant hadn't lost it's predecessor's taste for spectacle. What they were planning to show, Andrew couldn't make sense of. And that point alone brought him with Rawkill. A spectacle here would be destabilizing for the Rim, it would mean the Remnant was on the move again. It would mean the black dog was off her leash.
It was for that reason, that Cadomedd boarded the train. Well, that and jumping a three hundred pound carpet out of a cruiser wasn't possible on several levels. Cadomedd would be riding as a Nelvaanian Senator, looking to consolidate power on a world on the brink of another civil war. The Nelvaanian society never grew beyond clans, or beyond clan warfare, so the story almost always checked out. With the Remnant expanding out from the Outer Rim, Nelvaan would at least be of some interest. "A legjobb védekezés a támadás" , as the tribes say.
Andrew pulled his DL-44 out of it's holster on his right leg, and checked the settings, ensuring the blaster remained set on stun. While they were, essentially, robbing a train, he wasn't going to kill anyone if he didn't have to. There'd be enough death in the days ahead. North performed the same check on E-19 on his right leg, again setting Stun. He carried the blasters, a set of three flash-bangs and two proton grenades, and his lightsabers, hidden in quick-draw sheathes underneath his suit at the small of his back. These, he wouldn't draw unless forced. If the Jedi could stay hidden, they would.
"Gentlemen, we're exactly 10,000 meters over the 3:10. Go, go, go!"
As the sergeant spoke, the hatch in the center of the room opened, letting in a rush of air and a swirl of mist. Andrew took a deep breath as Rawkill's diminutive form blasted out the hatch into the sky below. He smiled a bit as he ran for the opening, boots clattering on the durasteel floor. As much as Andrew hated to admit it, as much as he tried not to, the Echani in him enjoyed this life, and enjoyed it a bit too much. He felt his pulse grow louder in his ears as his body cleared the hatch, and blasted out into the wind below.
The adrenaline that kicks in with weightlessness faded quickly as Andrew plummeted toward the 3:10. He couldn't see it at the current height, just too much cloud cover. He welcomed the clouds though, they'd keep the hair-trigger gunners on the 3:10 from noticing until he'd picked up enough speed. He kept his arms to his sides, looking more like a cloth missile than a parajumper. The jetpack made it possible, he wouldn't need to rely on getting in the appropriate position for pulling a ripcord.
His eyes bored out through the clouds against the polarized HUD, and watched the altitude indicators spin, 8000 meters now.
He spoke sharply through the comm-link in the helmet as the readout continued to spin
:: Alpha, Spartan. Scarecrow and Fuzzball are now. Expecting T-minus 2 minutes till touchdown. Wait for my mark before you blow the door. I think we've got more company than we've planned for ::
6000 meters. The sky began to clear as Andrew's form cut through the cloud cover, and grey haze shifted into a dizzying landscape of agricultural fields, partly overtaken by Imperial mechanization. And there, in the middle of it was the black centipede of the 3:10, cutting through the landscape. North tilted a bit, angling toward the train, and then narrowed his eyes.
Slightly above him, and about a kilometer out, hung a Guardian Class, it passed his eyes as he fell. Then, the grey ship burned into life, launching a volley of, from what Andrew could see, some sort of missile. Time hung still for a moment, as both the missiles beside him and a trio of airspeeds cut in beneath him.
Damn it!, Andrew's mind began to race. There are civilians on that ship. Damn it! What the hell are they after
:: Team. Brace for impact. We've got heavy company. It looks like three units, with heavy air support. Fuzzball, get some cover! ::
5000 meters. Andrew's eyes fixated on a series of explosions along some of the forward cars. While he knew civilians were on the train, he had no idea where they were.
:: Big Blue, are you intact? Repeat, are you intact? ::
5,000 meters , Andrew's mouth twisted into a hard smirk, and his eyes narrowed. The generally placid face of the Jedi wrenched into the hard mask of a peacekeeper. He squeezed his left hand, hard, and the jetpack burned to life. Red flames blasted into the otherwise clear sky, as a roar, that he could hear, even through his helmet, cut the air. Here we go!
:: Alpha, Scarecrow coming in hot. T minus 1 minute until impact. Mark! ::
Andrew figured if they blew the doors before he landed, it would give Rawkill and himself some time to get on board and draw attention in two directions, giving Cadomedd some time to get clear and give the entry unit a hand. He banked hard against the train, watching the altimeter spin. 3000, 2000, 1000.
The train sat below him now, as he shot along the cars from the rear, looking for Rawkill.
He swerved a bit as he passed over Car 28, then angled back, and set down on the surface.
"It looks like we're not the only party tonight."
Andrew switched off the jet-pack and pulled the E-19 out of it's holster, holding it loosely in his left hand.
"Let's move."

Aboard the 'Aurelian'
Pyro checked the load-out on his web-belt, and adjusted the BB-23 strapped across his back. He checked his blaster pistols and ease of access to extra ammunition. Every piece of the kit is duly checked, and re-checked. This is done quickly, almost subconsciously, but is as natural and integral a process as breathing to the soldier. When all that stands between life and death are the few items you carry into battle (and a few natural abilities) you come to feel very strongly that everything is just 'so before an op. Nodding as Alpharius makes a perfect landing on car twenty-nine, the soldier moves forward swiftly through the Aurelian's hold, heading for the cockpit. ...not bad for a squishy... Arriving in the cockpit, Pyro addresses the pilot, succinctly and efficiently.
As ordered, pilot: increase thrust to gain on the target, and increase altitude to four hundred feet.
The pilot, engrossed in his trade, kept his reply to a brief 'affirmative.' Moving aft with a lightness of foot and grace entirely uncommon for a being his size, while the small freighter was buffeted by atmospheric factors and wind-shear, Pyro returned to the hold and moved to the edge of the ramp. He took a deep breath. There was no countdown. No communication. No green light. He could feel the strain of the engines and the airframe to gain altitude and gain ground on the train, still visible below. He had made many LALO jumps in the past, but relatively few where the LZ was a moving target. He slowed his breathing. Closed his eyes, concentrating on the feel of the ship underneath him. About ten seconds later, the strain and vibration from the engines and the airframe lessened, and he knew the correct altitude had been reached.
He smiled, and pulled his gloves on.
Pyro dove off the ramp, free-falling toward the train, which loomed large, the mist and fog giving way to reveal a thick coverage of mature trees, rushing at him at terminal velocity. Twisting his body to navigate around the first several trees, he picked his target and submitted to the will of gravity. Fifty feet from the deck of the train, he pulled his chute, a comparatively tiny unit in no way meant to completely halt descent, only to slow descent to a survivable level for a Juicer. No sooner than it had been deployed, he made contact with the roof of car ten, absorbing the impact and coming to rest in a crouch. Releasing the parachute, it immediately disappeared, sucked away into the distance by the wind. Sweeping fore and aft, he activated the voice-activated comm unit on his throat passed on his sit-rep.
Aurelian; touchdown Car ten. Clear here. Moving in. Over.
Unslinging the BB-23, he moved to the aft end of Car 10, and prepared for entry.

Looks like some of the cars were hit with ion torpedo's, I'm not picking anything up from their sensors. But looks like we've got some Rapid Deployment Airspeeders dropping off some friends for you. And check on the engine car, the door controls registered a malfunction... Not bothering to answer Panno walked back to the door and up through the access hatch. Poking his head up through the hole the wind whistled by his face. Thankfully they had slowed down considerably to go around the tunnel. Of course it was also what allowed most of these people to get on the train in the first place. Whichever person had designed this route obviously had not taken into account highjackers.
Because of the speed the train was now going a flock of Rdava birds were able to keep up with the train. Their red orange plumage sticking out amoung the purple foliage that sprang up along the mountain side. Reaching out in the force Panno called a half dozen down to him. Landing on his armour as he ran from box to box he talked to them. Not in the traditional sense but he sifted through their memories catching glimpses of things. The food they had just caught, the way the train had disturbed them. Searching through an animals mind was imprecise but eventually one of the birds gave up the memory he needed.
A short man in brown clothing had boarded the front of the train. How and why was not really shown, all he saw was a small creature jumping from an incredibly fast speeder. It seemed the Knight of Ren was right. At least one speeder had approached the train, so whatever was going on was organized. Increasing his pace he needed to get the to front of the train.

Cars 30 & 29The "Aurelian" began to pass over the final two cars before the Bothan, Na'me He're, was set to disembark on the boarding ramp. He'd taken a few extra seconds to prepare himself for entry. It had been a while since he'd done anything like a targeted aerial insertion. Looking out over the roof of the train, he spotted Alpha posted up near the front entrance of Car 30, and that's when he'd heard the comm enter the channel.:: We're clear, :: He said as his masked eyes scoured the exterior of the armoured wagon and finding nothing of note. :: Let's get started, shall we? :: It wasn't but a moment after that Spartan and Avatar had made their insertion onto the train. As they passed him by, Na'me reflected for a moment on how small children were being made to play a part in this conflict before it had even truly begun. The thought saddened him immensely. He recalled his own time being enlisted in the Corps, in times even before being "recruited" into the Army of the Triumvirate. He was only fifteen, and barely a full-fledged male by his own species' standards. The Jedi, it seemed, started their children far younger on these sorts of daring missions. Far be it for him to submit his opinion on it, though. He would do what he could to expedite the mission, though, so perhaps - in some small way - he could spare her from the atrocities of war; if only for a little longer.Striking up his comlink, the Bothan initiated his action with his call-in."Alpha, this is Fade. Initiating jump in three...two..."With his last silent count, the Bothan knelt for a moment. Depressing the button on his boots for the "delayed activation" subroutine on his magboots. From there, he entered a kneeling leap onto the train. There was a light bump from first contact as his feet hit the deck of the 29th car, followed by a tuck-and-roll maneuver to bring him back upright and drawing down with his Mandalorian heavy blasters. Entering a sweeping cover pattern, he reached up and gave an audible "CLICK, CLICK" on his comlink to assure the other three that he had their six covered.

Car(s) 29 and 30 It took everything Alpharius had to keep his jaw from dropping to the floor. He had heard many things across the vast ocean of stars in regards to the various Supersoldier programmes, yet had never had the pleasure of seeing one in action. Almost all of those little schemes had ended in failure, either by the participants rebelling against those subjecting them to such torture, or simply by failing to yield any results.
As the hulking Avatar of War had torn the door from its housing, Alpharius had figured that at least one project had ended with a measure of success.
He wasn't jealous, or anything.
Maybe a little.
Subtly shaking the growing sensation of envy from his mind, the Infiltrator had made to turn away from the Supersoldier and his youthful counterpart, before being stopped in his tracks by something that slipped his mind in the rush to get out of Felucia. He had told them what he had planned, and they agreed to follow along with it. Alpharius believed that would've been the end of it. They'd board the train and make away with the goods before anyone asked any questions. When he had heard the Spartan make mention of an Imperial Artificial intelligence - a sudden chill had crawled its way up his spine.
They knew. The thrice-damned Imperials knew. This OP wouldn't end well. They needed to get out of there fast.
With the realizations racing through his mind, the Infiltrator's face slowly began to drain of any colour. It took him several beats of his thundering heart to regain control of his wandering thoughts and tell the truth. There was no point in hiding it now."I make it my business to know a lot of things, which being said an Imperial AI aboard the train is new."Slinging his bow about his shoulders, and lifting his half-mask from about his eyes, Alpharius stared right into the Supersoldier's faceplate - making sure that he believed he had his attention. After all, what he had to say could endanger the safety of the little one, and this armour clad soldier would see his duty through the too bitter end."Long story short, I've been chasing someone for nearly a decade, and I've made plenty of underworld contacts in that time. One of them told me about a train on Garqi, One that has something I need to catch that man. Turns out the Imperials believe this thing is important to them as well. So we might run into heavier resistance than I thought. What I didn't expect, was- "That was when his attention was drawn upwards, having noticed that his Ship had taken on a mind of its own. "Is that..." He paused, Anger painting his colourless face with varying shades of red. "Gorram Bishwag's stealing my boat!" Pressing two fingers to his ear, the Infiltrator shouted into his commbead.:: FEG-32, just what the hell are you doing? ::A moment later, a reply was pulsed through his receiver.:: Following Orders, Sir. ::Scowling, Alpharius replied.:: Best be bringing my Girl back, you hear? Knick her paint and I'm selling you to the Ugnaughts for baby toys! ::Venting his frustration in a forceful grunt, the Infiltrator withdrew his Intimidator Pistol from its holster and primed the weapon to combat efficacy. Once the blaster had emitted a harmonic chime, coupled with the sound of the Bothan Commando making his entrance, Alpharius turned towards the door leading into Car 28 before swiveling his gaze back to Keith. "Satisfied, or shall I extrapolate?"
