Angela paused and blushed for a moment. It was a rather embarrassing story, but she would still tell it. “Well... I was born on Coruscant. I got the best of education, food, et cetera. My family had done some work for the Empire, and we were loyal Imperialists. When I went to college, I specialized in medicine.” That had been a happy time in her life. She had met the Supreme Commander during this time, and truth be told, she had developed a bit of a crush on him. Her refined tastes could be traced back to here, along with her love for all things from the Core Regions. Mid-Rim and Outer Rim could be good, but would never match the Core for sophistication. “After the fall of the Empire, we were almost killed, but I managed to escape by working for a prominent hospital on Coruscant. I stayed there for a while, before I heard about a rising First Order. So, taking my ships, I ran to Muunilinst, where I joined the First Order.” Now here she stood, Director of the Medical Department. It had been easy for her, and many of the company she kept had vanished after the Empires fall. “Now... your turn.”

“I’ll forward you, it’s not a nice story...” It had indeed not been a nice story. Only a few people knew of his troubled childhood. That was not something he was willing to share with people. That would showcase a darker side of him, and a side he was not willing to show yet. A certain tune filled his ears for a bit, the melody that was forever present in his memories, haunting him about his past. His background was colorful... to say the least. He did not always have the sort of control he had now. “My childhood is... well it’s a blur. A blur which I haven’t cut through yet.” This wasn’t explicitly true, but then again, it paled in comparison to what he actually was. Shivering slightly as the cold of space wrapped around his mind, he looked back at Angela. “I joined the First Order at a mere 18 years of age. I became a Stormtrooper captain. My troops were some of the best, and I prided myself on that.” Those has been the good old days. Running across the galaxy blasting the enemies of the First Order. He had enjoyed himself then, spending money on things that were frivolous now. “Things went downhill from there. I was captured by the Pykes and I did their dirty work for a while. I then was captured by a Warlord but escaped him. That’s when I got my lightsaber, and when I truly found himself. Now here I stand.”

His story was one of blood, iron, and grit. Here had been a simple affair where she just danced her way to power. She couldn’t be proud of any major hardship, her life had been a large uphill. She doubted herself, and what she would do when confronted with a real problem. This incessant doubt worried her. “A harrowing tale, Commander Tagge.” She noticed the doorway leading to Raith’s quarters. She had a slightly cocky smirk as she looked deep into Raith’s eyes, the sea blue of her eyes looking lovely as ever. “So... perhaps you could take me to your quarters so we could have a seat...” ”Woah” she thought. That came off very seductive. Alarm bells rang in her head. She didn’t mean to overstep here, and this was a big overstep. It was too late now though, she would have to make do with the statement.

Raith almost couldn’t help but to smile. She quite clearly wore her heart on her sleeve, and he liked that. If he was honest, she was a very attractive lady through and through.“Of course, Dr. Ziegler. Perhaps we should get to know each other better with a little more privacy.” He knew how this sounded. It was a calculated move to tempt her. People, when they were flustered, tended to make errors. Taking her hand as per etiquette, he escorted her to the quarters. However, this was no ordinary ship. Originally designed for the Imperial Knights, there was a large area that would have been used to house a contingent of soldiers. That would no longer be necessary, so he had converted it into an ornate suite for himself.This is his suite. Bedroom is on upper floorSitting down at the bar, he ordered a whiskey before turning to Angela.“Perhaps you would like to take a seat?”

Ordering a glass of champagne, Angela sat down on the stool next to Raith. Carefully sipping the ruby liquid from the tall, thin glass, her gaze lingered on Raith for a moment, before he noticed her. Looking away, blushing, Angela took a few sips from the glass, unsuccessfully trying to hide the crimson color of her face. Looking sheepishly at him, Angela shifted a few centimeters closer to him. “So... Commander...” She found herself at an unfortunate loss for words. This had never happened to her before, and she did not like the sensation. Yet being in his presence calmed her. Her hand was shaking as she reached for her glass again. “... Perhaps you would like to join me in a toast.” Raising her glass, her hand still shook. She had had two glasses of whiskey earlier, and this wine glass was not treating her well. “To the First Order?”

“Cheers to that.” Clinking their glasses, Raith took a gulp from his glass, finishing it off, before ordering another one. Just getting a full bottle, he took a swig from it before setting it down rather heavily upon the table. “So... Director Ziegler, I hear you had quite a fancy for the Supreme Commander.” His words, though sophisticated, sounded heavier than usual. He was clearly falling under the intoxication from the several glasses and bottle of whiskey he had consumed. He felt as though the world was clouded, becoming rather distorted. He knew subconsciously that soon, he would start acting strangely, but at the same time, he couldn’t help but take another swig from the bottle that sat before him. Taking the lightsaber from his belt and setting it on the table, he began to take up Angela’s hand. Suddenly, he had a strange moment of clarity, as the Force broke through the layers of intoxication that clouded his mind. Still, he couldn’t help himself as he pulled Angela onto the dance floor. This room had been created to entertain more than just himself, evidenced by the half dozen tables for two and the large couch. Taking up her hands, he began to do a rather slow dance with her, holding her tightly to him, feeling her silky, golden hair on his chin as he held her in his arms. It was almost... addictive, holding her like this, feeling her, moving with her. They still were clearly somewhat drunk, as they almost hit one of the stools by the bar. “You never answered me... Director.” He spoke in a seductive tone as he whispered into her ear. He was certainly glad that he had locked the single entrance to the space beforehand, as he would never hear them end of it if one of his junior officers saw him like this. He was normally a very composed personality, and this was a side of him few, if any people ever saw.

Angela knew that this was wrong. Love was built over months, not in a single night. And yet... she felt as though he filled a need, something she desired. A true connection. As he whispered into her ear, she felt shivers travel up her back. With him, she felt protected. Shielded. Angela, though she would seem submissive, was actually fiercely independent. She cherished her freedom, her strength. Her strength flowed from her being able to keep herself safe. She didn’t give that up to just anyone. Only to one who she felt she could give herself to without being let down. His struggle proved his resilience, his strength for those he cared for. She was a daisy, one who could easily be blown over in a storm. He was the protection that would keep her standing. “Raith... I would very much like it if we could continue this in a more... intimate manner.”

“So, Director, we’re on a first name basis now?” With that, he gave in to his desires and pressed his lips against hers, hands stroking her hair and holding her against him as they passionately showed their love for each other with this gesture. Feeling her mumble against his mouth as he carefully took off the halo on her head. He then noticed the trans-blue dress she was wearing, and this pushed him over the edge. Tossing the halo aside, it was soon joined by the rest of their garments as they stumbled into his bedroom.
The rest of the night passed by in a flurry of passion, lust, and love. Here was love in its most natural form, without the trimmings that society placed upon them. Two people, intent on showing just how much they desired the other, feeling the silken sheets of the bed, holding each other close. The rest of the world faded away and the two of them found each other in the darkness of the universe, and let the rest of the world fade away...
==Early Morning, Garqi Time==
Raith woke from his deep slumber and felt the silken sheets around him. The apparent messy state he was in could only be attributed to the slim form of the naked, Golden-haired woman that he picked out from amongst the chaos of the sheets. In his mind, he slowly played out the events of last night in his head, relishing each moment. At this time, his friend Faina was most likely waking up and preparing for another day as Grandmaster of the Knights. Technically, he and Angela should have been watching over the construction of the medical station. But that was just another activity. The station would be there tommorow. And the day after. Today, he would spend his time with his new-found love. He was a storm, a furious blend of warriors spirit and power. A force of Order. He needed the spark of tenacity that Angela provided, the flair of carefreeness and freedom. As Angela rested her head on his chest, he simply sat still, stroking her hair, as she roused from her sleep. “Rise and shine, beautiful.”

She stirred slightly as she felt something running through her hair. As she stirred, she felt a presence next to her. Looking up, she saw the deep brown eyes of her lover. Pulling herself up, she rested her head on Raith’s chest, feeling the comforting heat of his body. Gazing up at him, she saw his hair, the hair that she had gotten used to seeing in perfect order, in disarray, reminding herself of how she had desperately ran her slim fingers through his hair as they had slid their bodies against each other as their hunger for pleasure turned into a dance of desire that had lead them on a path to fulfillment, a path that had taken them to places they had never dreamed of before. His raw power against her delicate frame, she had never felt such pleasure before. He made her feel good, and not just physically. Emotionally, he gave her something that filled her body with the hunger for more. Burying her face into his chest, she wished she could pause time here. The single star of Garqi have the room a warm feeling, bathing Angela and Raith’s naked bodies in heavenly light. “Raith, please. We both know that you think I’m beautiful.” As she said this, she carefully climbed onto his lap. Pressing her forehead against his, Angela held Raith’s face tenderly. She loved him, every inch of him. From the well-trimmed muscles to the friendly face, he gave her a refuge from the chaos of the galaxy. A place in which she could place herself and not be let down.

Raith couldn’t help but smile. That attitude is why he loved her so much. He saw Angela climb on his lap and felt her slim fingers close around his face. He wrapped his arms around her lower back and pulled her close, pressing his lips against hers passionately before giving each bit of her body the same attention. Under the sheets, their legs tangled as the two of them relished every bit of each other. Loosely caressing her body, Raith bent her over so that she laid spread eagled beneath him. Though he had used up so much energy the night before, he still found it in him to make her writhe in pleasure, to fill her desires, as the two of them passionately joined their bodies in an effort to quench their limitless lusts. Sounds of love bounced off the soundproof walls of his chambers as he slid his hands all over her body, hungry for her. Quietly whispering each other’s name, begging for more, illuminating each other’s world. ————[]———— A while later, Angela and Raith were clad in loose robes in the downstairs area of the space. They had missed quite a bit of the day, and so they were having an elaborate lunch. She sat next to him, resting her head on his shoulder, loosely tracing out his chest with her index finger as he spooned some eggs into her mouth. She was exhausted from their... previous activities, and so he just fed her potatoes, eggs, and bacon. Lightly kissing her head and ruffling her golden hair, Raith stared deeply into Angela’s azure eyes. “What is this, us, to you. Is it just another fling in our lives... or perhaps just an outlet for us...” He paused to let her swallow before lightly kissing her, loving he tenderness of Angela’s lips. “...or is it something more.”

At last, the medical station was nearing completion. With the exterior done, crews now worked tirelessly To outfit the interior of the station.

The serene span of pink that blanketed the surface of Garqi came into view through the forward viewpoints of the Regulator-Class Star Destroyer Hermes, with the captain of the vessel standing silhouetted by the vast ball that floated before him in open space. However, the look on his face, illuminated by pinkish light, was that of a smile, rather then the grim face of deployment. Garqi was a serene, peaceful, and beautiful Agri-World which was very loyal to the First Order. This here was an easy, safe, and relaxed deployment, and both he and his men were looking forward to it. This was apparently the reward for hard work, and he and the men of the 7th Fleet needed it. They had launched a massive campaign into former Alliance space to eradicate remnants of the forces, which proved to be a harrowing ordeal due to the hit-and-run Rebel tactics used by his opponents. This redeployment to this oversector would be nice, however, due to the fact that these were some of the crown jewels of the Empire, and as such, were extremely loyal to it.

Garqi was visited regularly by Grand Moff Shel Hu's fleet, even if she could not always be with it. It was no part of the Bilbringi Oversector and patrolled and protected for the First Order.

Gravitational ripples were like waves rolling into shore as a mid ro'ik warship emerged from the sea of darkspace and entered the system, its dovin basal array rapidly slowing the dreadnought sized organic vessel to sublight speeds.Ice crystals broke off the yorik-coral hull of the Carcharodon as its dovin basals dragged its lumbering form towards the planet of Garqi, banging off the secretion armour and making a rumbling noise that sounded as though the vessel was growling into the void. Squadrons of yorik-et separated from coral arms sprouting from the living warship's sides, descending across the sky like a swarm of locusts. Behind the stern of the organic dreadnought, long arrest tentacles dragged a massive oblong shape. As the miid ro'ik took an orbit over the capital of Pestkda, the tentacles released the what appeared to be a seedling nearly as large as the ship itself. It entered the atmosphere and streaked towards the surface like a meteorite, trailing black clouds of smoke. Molted balls of flesh with long tails that whipped back and forth behind them, known in the Yuuzhan Vong tongue as yorik-trema, poured from crevices in the warship's hull and followed after the seedling.Domain Yin had come to Garqi.

Void tides rippled in orbit as a series of organic warships tore open yawning holes in the dimensional barrier, manipulating the forces of gravity to pull four advanced scout ships out of the shrieking lightspeed corridors of darkspace, entering the system to join the Carcharodon in anchor above the planet. A fleet of twenty two yorik-vec materialized between them, several of which streaked past the force in orbit, slipping into the atmosphere on a course towards the damutek structure that had been landed near Garqi's capital.

While the Carcharodon had left the system to join the rest of the loyalists at Bastion, the remainder of Domain Yin's war fleet remained in high anchor over Garqi. That fleet had spread out to form a blockade of the hyperlane, scrutinizing any vessels attempting to enter the system or approach the planet, denying all access. Until the civil war was resolved, the shipments of caf-beans across the Empire ground to a halt.
