Kent felt the push, and rolled her shoulder to let it pass. For a moment she felt herself start to separate in the Force like she had in the past. This time she hung on and refused to let it happen. She was afraid but afraid of doing something she didn't want to do. She did turn and take a more defensible stance. Her hands at her sides still, not up. But her knees were bent ready to act.

*Kent seemed to run out of words, instead taking up her own defensive stance... Somewhat. For a moment, Morgan wondered if this was even worth it; Kent was reluctant, and Morgan had nothing to prove. On the other hand, Kent did.
Morgan's dedication renewed, albeit with a new purpose. She smirked as she pushed off from her right foot, closing the gap and taking a quick step to the side. Her fingers had balled into fists, which came forward now in a quick series of light punches: First, her right fist aimed for Kent's left hip; her left fist would then aim for Kent's right; and finally, the third punch again came from her right fist, aiming for just above Kent's navel. All three punches were light, not enough to cause any pain.
Her immediate next move unless she needed to just would be to hop back, preparing for any sort of counterattack. The spar had begun.*

Punches she could handle on her own. The attacks for centered around her midsection, so Kent took the easy way around. Well over in this case. With gymnast's legs, she leaped over the head of the girl. It helped that the girl was small. She turned the jump into a hand spring and came up behind Morgan. She was still keeping the Force from taking control and was not controlling it yet for fear of what she could do.

*Dodging small punches by jumping over her? That seemed like a bit overkill. Morgan ducked under the jump and turned as she stepped into where Kent's feet once were. Seeing where she was about to land, she lifted her right hand up to her left shoulder, preparing to make a diagonal slicing motion in order to disrupt her landing with the Force.
But she didn't. The nudge to the shoulder earlier had been mostly a tease, but it wouldn't be fair to use it so efficiently in a fight.
Unfortunately, the time it took to make that decision cost her the opening to trip Kent out with her own leg. At least now she had mentally established the ground rules; her actions were set. She made a quick visual assessment, deeming it unlikely she could just sweep out Kent's legs when the older girl's feet were set, especially while barefoot, and abandoned that idea. Instead, she hopped forward, landing on her left foot and pivoting clockwise, aiming a kick for the middle of Kent's waist. She would then continue the pivot and plant her right foot behind her left, returning to her defensive position.*

Kent sees the twisting kick coming. She turns and drops. The kick may hit her shoulder, Kent would take that to add momentum to her fist offensive maneuver. She continues her turn and sweeps her leg around where Morgan will landing. Hoping to catch the back of her leg as it lands, if nothing else it will make for questionable footing.

*Whatever this new move was, it was certainly bizarre. And telegraphed. Morgan was able to adjust, planting her foot down in a slightly different position after Kent's leg had passed. Then she pivoted on that foot, aiming a new kick with her left foot for the middle of Kent's chest, hopefully using the attack as leverage to push off and allow her to add a small bit of distance between them.*

The crouch gave her a lot of potential energy stored in her legs. A kick was what Kents wanted to see. Morgans weight would be unstable on one leg. Kent sprung up for a shoulder block to Morgan's chest. The girl's kick would connect, but it would connect on Kent's thigh. She had her arms out as well if the girls tried to jump out of the way on her weight leg, the shoulder block would become a tackle.

*Kent seemed to take the kick, only to rise up in what seemed to be a shoulder check aimed for Morgan's chest. Fortunately, she had the newfound distance from pushing off of Kent and enough composition to roll herself forward underneath Kent entirely, for once grateful for her small size. She rolled to her feet and hopped up to turn about, once more in a defensive position, briefly contemplating breaking her established rule on not yet using the Force. But not yet; these weird moves of Kent's had only gotten her lucky once. Silly moves like that wouldn't be of any use in a real fight, and Morgan had to prove it.*

Kent had been in fights before, many. She survived by out thinking and by being faster and more agile than her opponent. This time it was different. Against Morgan, she was the bigger and stronger combatant. It was something she hadn't considered before, the Force begging her to let it act had distracted her. As morgan dodged the shoulder block and rolled under, Kent did something she hadn't really ever tried. She planted her left foot and drove her right in a roundhouse kick, If Morgan was standing up after ducking under Kent it would catch the girl in the sternum. It was a power move, kent was new to those.

*Morgan was prepared, bringing her arms up and crossing her forearms diagonally, feet planting firmly in place. She caught the blow on her arms, grunting and wincing slightly as she bore the force of the blow, which wasn't as bad as it could have been; her training coupled with her many journeys through the jungle had built up her muscle quite well. As her right arm held against the foot, she lowered her left arm, aiming a swift punch at the back of Kent's knee, hoping to at the most force a spasm to weaken her footing for a moment; it was all Morgan could really do, since overpowering was not her strong suit and it was mostly out of the question here.*

The blow caught Kent in the back of the knee. Her leg wasn't locked do it didn't buckle, but it did give way a bit. Kent tried to lean back collapsing her leg around the girl's fist. Her plan was to reverse into a backward summersault that should bring the girl down face first into the ground. The move would also give Kent an armbar if successful. If the girl was able to pull away there would be space between them. Kent could feel the Force wanting to help her in this confrontation but the teenagers was too afraid to let it.

*It seemed the punch had done what Morgan hoped it would have. Sort of. Instead of a leg spasm, Kent attempted to lock her leg around Morgan's fist. A fist that was no longer there, having retreated almost as soon as it had made contact. Fortunately, she was able to gain space as well as the briefest time to decide her next attack. However, all of them seemed far too violent for a spar such as this; and, though she hated to admit it, she was almost starting to regret issuing this challenge. Were Kent a true assailant? Morgan wouldn't have hesitated to use the Force and more powerful attacks, but the last thing she wanted to do was actually hurt Kent.
She tried to think about how Daddy fought: Patiently, defensively, striking when the opponent showed a weakness or creating one himself. Morgan was slightly more offensively-minded, preferring to create her own openings to exploit, though recognized when one must go on the defensive. So she shifted her strategy, lowering her fists to the side, taking in a steadying breath and waiting for Kent to come after her instead.*

Kent caught her breath as she planned her next move. The Force kept trying to move its way into the fight, Kent was now having to actually use effort and attention to keep it at bay. She saw the girl's hands go down, and decided to go for the fight ender. It was a move she had never used herself, normally she was too small to try it. It had been used against her before and taken her down before. She lept with both hands extend behind her head in one big fist. She closed the distance very quickly, she began to swing her arms forward. Her hands would come down right on the back of morgans head with extreme force.

*... it seemed the opportunity would come even sooner than Morgan thought it might, for Kent leapt at her with the apparent intent to land an overhead blow. Morgan moved instantly to her left, right foot moving first and planting on the ground before she lifted her left foot and pushed off with her right, performing an evasive aerial before attempting to bring her leg down on the small of Kent's back. Hopefully it would connect and allow her to roll backward onto her feet again.*

All of her momentum was going forward and down when Morgan's heel caught Kent square in the lower spine. The spin added more force to it, the heel drove deep into the small of Kents back, focused on that point. Pain exploded in that point, the spinal blow making Kent's legs go week for a second. Her momentum carries her to the ground, her face hitting a rock, breaking her nose. The Force overwhelms her, she is pulled away again, her body rolls and springs back up, blood from her nose, the look in her eyes is different. Little rocks around her begin to shake and dance a little. But she doesn't strike, the Force it seems is waiting for her direction.

*As Morgan flipped backward up onto her feet with her fists raised defensively, she saw that her attack had been successful... but apparently far more successful than she had intended. The blood flow from Kent's nose was alarming and Morgan's own fists began to lower somewhat as she looked up at Kent with widened eyes.* "Kent! Are you okay?" *Truthfully, Morgan was glad the counter had worked, but this was just supposed to be a practice spar, not an actual battle!
Then she began to notice what seemed to be the effects of the Force trembling around Kent's feet. It seemed the girl was attempting to tap into the Force... and that was a lesson that Morgan almost didn't want to interrupt, but she didn't want to continue a practice spar with someone that possibly had a broken nose, and risk possibly making it worse!*

She could feel power just waiting for direction. She couldn't feel her nose, nor could she feel the blood going down her face. She could hear the little girl ask of she was ok. She was more than ok, she had never felt this before. She gave herself a push, with speed given by the Force her body sprang to life moving faster than it ever had before. She feigned a high punch then dropped sliding around Morgan's legs, grabbing the girls left heel. As if she was hovering above it all she pulled her body up to its feet with the girl's ankle still in its grasp.

*Much to her surprise, Kent answered by continuing the fight, injured nose notwithstanding. Morgan tensed, having not expected this; perhaps Kent had been used to this sort of thing if she had to fend for herself on Nar Shaddaa. Having kept her Force connection controlled during the early portion of the fight, Morgan's only option was to quickly perform an aerial cartwheel to the right and out of the way of the oncoming assault. As she did so, she allowed the Force to flow through her once more; her most powerful tool was now at her disposal.
Despite herself, a tiny grin crept onto her face.*

As the girl cartwheeled over her hand, through the Force Kent could see exactly where she would land. Kent was not within reach of that place, but she had the Force. She raised her hand, and let a hard and quick blast of Force push to the place where Morgan would land. It was not prolonged, she made sure it was just enough to knock down someone just landing without a footing. It would take the girls legs out from under her. She did it, it wasn't the Force doing something for her, controlling her. Her joy at controlling to the Force filled the area.

*A wave headed her way. Morgan barely had any time to react to it at all as it took out her feet, but, having reopened herself to the Force, she was able to throw her hands forward towards the ground, unleashing her own burst that repelled her in the opposite direction. She drew her legs in and stumbled backward to a standstill, regaining her footing with her hands raised defensively, ready for whatever else Kent might throw at her. This was where she felt far more comfortable.*
