*As Terra laughed, so did Morgan, stepping backward as Terra waded through, releasing her arm and treading water as the lake became too deep for her to stand, but was still only a little past Terra's waist. When Terra stated that she no longer had to worry about getting her clothes wet, Morgan giggled again.* That's what I thought! And now we can play! *Morgan splashed Terra and giggled as she swam away backwards. At first, she moved deeper, but then again recalled Terra's inability to swim and shifted course to the side instead, a little closer to shore, as a precaution. She grinned, though noted a bit of red in Terra's face still. Ah well, playing was the best way to get used to it. Just like...* If you play, you get used to it better. It was the same way with my brother Jake. Really!

Terra squealed when Morgan splashed water at her, and she brushed her eyes and started wading after Morgan, who was swimming away from her. She had said that playing would help her get used to this, and that made sense. Having a little fun certainly couldn't hurt, and she smiled brightly as she closed the distance between them to get in range for a good splash. "OK! Let's play then!" She was in range now, and splashed some water at Morgan to get her back for being splashed earlier. "I got you!"

*Yes! Terra was taking the advice. This would work nicely. Morgan grinned, knowing Terra was closing in for a strike. And it came. Morgan also squealed and shielded herself as the splash washed over her. Morgan giggled and almost splashed back, but stopped when memories of another technique came back to her. She swam backward toward shore until it was shallow enough to stand. Then she extended her arms and her senses, focusing upon the water below her. She exerted her focus upon it, expression scrunched up slightly as she began making fluid arm movements. After a moment, a ball of water rose from the surface, though it was not perfect; water still sloshed out through invisible gaps. Knowing she had precious little time, Morgan shoved her arms forward, attempting to throw it at Terra, but it broke apart midway; now it resembled a stream of water that could have been thrown from a bucket. Morgan frowned at her inability to keep the ball perfectly intact, but at least it was an accurate shot. And hey, maybe it would impress Terra too!*

Terra watched Morgan carefully, sensing the use of the Force, but she stayed put and wondered what she was doing. When the ball of water rose up, it dawned on her that Morgan was using it in her counterattack, and she took a quick breath and ducked, submerging herself into the water for a few seconds. Morgan's water shot had been accurately placed though, and Terra had still taken part of the shot even as she had gone down, and she raised herself out of the water, gasping. Her hair was now soaked and it clung to her shoulders and her back and she shook her head a few times, water droplets flinging out as she did. That had actually been an impressive technique...
She looked over at Morgan, clearly impressed with the girl. It seemed this little girl was just an endless fountain of surprises. "Where did you learn to do that?"

*Terra had time to duck down almost all the way before her shot could connect. Speed. She needed to work on her speed too. But first she'd have to perfect the technique before she could focus on speeding it up. At least part of the shot had connected before Terra could duck down. But after Terra had surfaced and shook out her hair, she looked at Morgan, clearly seeming impressed, asking where she'd learned to that. Morgan smiled; at least part of per plan worked out.* A Felucian taught me! Well, I'd actually left home one day to spend a few days in the jungle and try to learn more about it and my powers, and I was in a different lake, my favorite lake, by the waterfall, trying to make balls of water like that, when a Felucian girl saw me and came to help me. I can't get it perfect, though... *That had been a fun time. Morgan wondered what Ch'lonna was up to now, and if she was still healthy along with her friends and family. She remembered the fun they had learning to make the sphere of water... ... as well as when Ch'lonna stole her clothes and Morgan chased after her through the trees, and Ch'lonna had accidentally lost them to the river. But that had turned out fine; Morgan had gotten a better Felucian-designed gown later, which she loved. When she actually wore it, that was...*

So Felucia had its own sentient life, and it seemed one of them had taught Morgan. Terra definitely needed to get her hands on some books about Felucia when she got back to the base so she could learn more about this planet. And as for that other lake that Morgan had mentioned, maybe they could go there sometime. After all, it was Morgan's favorite lake.
She smiled. "Keep practicing it, Morgan. That way you can win any water fight you get in!" Laughing, Terra crouched down in the water and, using both arms, started rapidly splashing at water at Morgan. Though this was Terra's first water fight, she wanted to win, if one could truly win a water fight. She still had to give a good showing after all. Despite her initial nervousness about being naked outside, she was actually starting to have a little fun now.

*Morgan grinned at the idea that she could win any water fight she was in just by practicing the water sphere technique. Morgan wasn't actually sure water fights could be "won," but it was a nice thought that she could outfight someone with water techniques. But then Morgan was besieged with a barrage of splashes; she squealed and shielded herself, maneuvering to the side and trying to get closer to Terra. When there was an opening, she splashed back, doing her best to keep up the assault. A thought then came to her, and she stopped, giggling as she called out.* Isn't this fun, Terra? I bet you forgot you were naked already! *Not that she was trying to call attention back to the fact, just prove a point. This was always her plan, after all, and if it was a success, well, Morgan would feel good, not just because Terra was having fun, but also because it meant Morgan's directions had been true, and actually worked. Being a competent teacher was a satisfying thought.*

Terra laughed and spluttered as Morgan's counterattack came in, and she did her best to return fire. She stopped her splashing when Morgan did, and she giggled. This was fun all right, but she shivered a little when she suddenly remembered that her clothes were on the ground by the lake. But Morgan was right. The fun had distracted her and she had actually forgotten for a few minutes that she was naked. It was strange, but she wasn't feeling as nervous as before. It surely mean that she was getting used to it.
She giggled. "I did forget...for a moment or two. It's strange...I'm not feeling that nervous anymore."

*Morgan smiled when Terra laughed and confirmed that she did in fact forget. "For a moment or two." Morgan shrugged while still smiling; ah well, it was a good first step. Morgan wondered if she should have saved the question for later instead of bringing it up now, but it turned out not to be a big deal, as Terra admitted she wasn't feeling very nervous anymore. Morgan grinned, starting to wade forward.* Good. See? You just gotta get used to it, and you'll be good. *Morgan giggled again as she continued to move forward toward Terra, stopping just before it got too deep to stand. She held her hands slightly behind her, palms facing forward. Then she grinned mischievously.* But you forgot one little thing. *She then tapped into the Force and quickly lifted her hands upward, using both her own skills and the Force to create a slightly-larger-than-usual wave of water directly toward Terra. As she did this, Morgan erupted into high-pitched, squealing giggles.* We're still having a water fight!

Terra smiled and nodded, and raised an eyebrow when Morgan told her that she was forgetting one little thing. She was about to ask what when she felt a slight surge in the Force, but it was too late for her react. Morgan had already launched her water attack and Terra stumbled backwards, spluttering as the water hit her. She fell backwards and briefly disappeared under the water. It was a sneaky move all right, but she really should have seen it coming.
Staying under the water, Terra gathered the Force around her and concentrated. It was difficult to see under the water, but she could make out where Morgan was standing well enough. She wasn't sure if this was going to work, but it was worth a shot, and she really wanted to win this water fight.
Terra burst up out of the water at the same time she used the Force to help her project a wave of water at the girl, similar to what Morgan had done, but not quite the same technique, thus she was unsure of how effective it would be. She laughed as she sent the water attack."Got you!"

*Her attack was successful. Morgan giggled again, but when Terra was suddenly knocked under the water, she almost panicked. She started to move forward, fearing for the girl who couldn't swim, when she felt it: The concentration of the Force. And Morgan was too deep in the water to move quickly on her own. And there would be no time to Force push herself out of the way, as Terra sprang up, sending her own wave at Morgan, the force of which knocked Morgan backward, submerging her.
She stayed under, pushing off the bottom and swam past Terra. Still staying submerged, she maneuvered around behind the girl, swam to the bottom, and planted her feet. Then, shoving herself off with the help of the Force, she sprang out of the water, launching herself into the air and latching herself onto Terra's back, giggling as she did so.* Ha! I got you! *Morgan suddenly wondered if Terra minded if she was latching onto her like this; normally it may not have been a problem, but considering how Terra was getting used to her current state... well, it was just another test then, Morgan reasoned.*

Terra watched the spot where Morgan had submerged herself after being knocked back, and she wondered if she had maybe put a little too much power in that attack. Although Morgan could swim, so maybe there was no need to be so worried, unless...wait. She squinted when she caught sight of something moving in the water, likely Morgan, but the rippling caused by their splashing prevented her from getting a good view and she lost sight of the girl. She looked around the pond, preparing herself for a counterattack, when suddenly she heard Morgan's voice behind her and she gasped as she felt the girl latching onto her back. With a squeal, she stumbled forwards, but managed to keep her balance. She hadn't expected Morgan to latch on like this, and normally she wouldn't have thought anything of it, but they were both completely naked and Terra wasn't used to having people be this close to her anyway. She thought of pushing Morgan off of her back.
But the thought only lasted for a moment and she shook it off. Truth be told, she didn't mind Morgan being this close to her. She had only known Morgan for a few hours, but she could feel a bond forming between them, and she was glad that she had met the girl.
Terra could only giggle as Morgan firmly latched onto her back. "That's twice you've gotten me with a surprise attack." Still giggling, she reached behind her and underneath Morgan to lift her up, carrying the girl piggyback style, and started towards more shallow water. "I think that qualifies as a win for you, Morgan. I can't think of anything to counter this." Yes it was surrender, but you couldn't win them all, and this was technically her first ever water fight.

*Terra did stumble, but Morgan still clung to her. The woman controlled her balance though, and reached behind her to carry Morgan like in a piggyback-style position. Morgan smiled; another victory. And not just a victory in this area, but Terra admitted "defeat" in the water war as well. Morgan giggled and pumped a fist into the air.* Yes! I win! *Morgan lowered her fist and giggled, then leaned forward a little so she could see Terra's face more clearly.* But you won too, ya know. You're playing around naked and not caring! *Morgan giggled again, then looked up at the sky. It was definitely starting to get to the darker end of the spectrum now.* Sun's gonna set soon. It'll almost be nighttime!

Terra giggled at Morgan's enthusiasm, and though she had lost the water fight, she had won a small victory in another area. She nodded slowly. "Yeah...I'm getting used to it so...it's actually kind of nice." Now that she had gotten more or less used to being naked, she had indeed found it to be more comfortable than she had expected. It helped that the jungle was still very warm and that Morgan was so helpful in teaching her to be comfortable like this. Though the thought of hurrying back to shore to get dressed had crossed her mind a few times before, now she felt comfortable to remain this way for just a little longer, knowing Morgan certainly wouldn't mind.
She looked up at the darkening sky with a little bit of excitement. Soon the jungle would light up like Morgan said it would, and she had been looking forward to seeing that. Still carrying Morgan on her back, she turned her head to look at the girl with a smile. "Yeah. Should we go dry off now or did you want to play in the water some more?"

*Morgan smiled when Terra said she was getting used to it and that it was kind of nice. She didn't tire of hearing these things; it was all music to her ears. Now, if only more people could be so accepting of this... An eventual dream, she supposed, one that wouldn't just happen instantly, but still something she strove for.
But now the choice: Continue playing or dry off and wait. Well, Morgan didn't expect they'd stay out much longer after dark, since they would have to go back home, so...* Let's dry off and wait. We should go home after dark. I mean... swimming out here at night would be awesome! But... no one knows we're out here, so we should probably go back soon so no one worries. *Morgan wriggled free of Terra's grip so she could slide down her back and into the water, where she stumbled and fell in backwards, landing on her butt and splashing Terra. She giggled, pushing herself back to her feet and ran to shore. She then turned and sat on the ground, laying back on the ground again, folding her hands behind her back.* It's almost time, Terra. It's gonna be pretty...

Terra smiled and made her way to shore, remembering that she hadn't told anyone that she would be leaving with Morgan, so it was probably best if they went back after a little while. She felt almost a little sad that they couldn't stay out here longer, but maybe there would be more time later and she didn't want anyone to worry about them. She sat down next to Morgan and slowly lowered herself onto her back, laying next to the little girl. It was strange, but she really wanted to stay out here, and, to her surprise, she even found herself not minding if she stayed naked. Just a short while ago she had felt mortified to be even standing there in her underwear, but that was certainly no longer the case. Although it might take a little more time before she felt comfortable enough with being naked to go hiking without her clothes like Morgan had done...
She turned her head to look at Morgan and she smiled brightly. "I can't wait to see it." Still smiling, she stretched her arms out above her head for a moment before resting them on her stomach."Thanks Morgan...I really had fun today...and..."She giggled a little."...thanks for teaching me to...be comfortable with myself."She giggled some more and turned her head back to look at the sky, glad that she had gotten over her initial fear of being naked. In a sense, it felt liberating that she had overcome that, though again, she would probably need some time to be comfortable enough to go on naked hikes or anything like that. She was sure Morgan would understand, though.

*As Terra laid down on the ground beside her, Morgan looked at her with a smile and tittered softly, then returned her gaze to the sky. As the sun had set, colors had been cast onto the ground, almost stained-glass like, but it wasn't as noticeable in the lake due to the open area with little foliage.
Terra couldn't wait to see Felucia after dark. She wouldn't be disappointed.
She then thanked Morgan, saying she "really had fun today." Morgan turned her head toward her with a smile, but Terra thanked her for another thing: Teaching her how to be comfortable with herself. Morgan beamed, rolling onto her side to wrap an arm around Terra and snuggle against her; a substitute for a hug, as they were both laying down.* You're welcome! I'm glad I could help! *She giggled, then rolled back over onto her side and mimicked Terra's posture, resting her arms on her belly. The sun was nearly out of the sky now, and Morgan tittered in anticipation, speaking in a stage whisper to Terra.* Here it comes... *As the sun disappeared, so did the light entirely. For a moment, everything was black, with no light whatsoever. Then it dimmed into focus: Twinkling lights. And not the stars; the trees and fungi around them glittered, hanging vines glowed, even the grass sparkled beneath them. It was a calm and pleasant light of many colors, simply dazzling and reflecting off the surface of the water. It was enough light to see by, but not too bright that one couldn't sleep amidst the lights. Morgan grinned, and even laughed happily; it was an everyday miracle, one she never tired of beholding.* Here it is, Terra! What do you think?

Terra was robbed the power of speech as the jungle finally lit up, and it was breathtaking. Though slow to come to life, the blackness of night was eventually broken as the plants and fungi slowly came to life. The colors were myriad and though they illuminated the area clearly, it was a soft glow. Her mouth hung open for a few moments as she took the sights in. This was like a paradise, something that she couldn't have ever thought existed even in her wildest dreams.
She finally found her voice again, though it was barely above a whisper."It's...beautiful..." Beautiful didn't really do this sight justice, but she could find no other words. This was more than worth the wait and she felt she could stare at this all night, even though she knew they would have to head back soon. Now she really didn't want to leave...

*After Morgan had had her fill of the beautiful sight, she turned her head to watch Terra. Her expression was filled with wonder, and she seemed speechless. Morgan grinned, waiting until she finally spoke. When she did, it was only to whisper that it was beautiful. Morgan knew she'd like it. How could one not? It was simply one of the most beautiful things one could ever see.* Isn't it great? *Morgan's voice was gentle, not wanting to speak too loudly for fear of breaking the moment. She looked up at the sky again, where the stars twinkled overhead.* When I first saw it, I was lost out here and worried, but when the world lit up, I wasn't worried anymore because it was so beautiful. I don't get to see it happen a lot, but I love it when I do. I've never seen anything like it. I love this planet so much... *More than Terra knew; Morgan still hadn't told her about her deep connection to the planet. Soon. Maybe on the way back, or maybe now. Either way, Morgan's love for the world—for her mother—grew deep. She was so full of surprises, so many wonderful sights and scenery, so many fantastic creatures. And Morgan had a deep connection to all of it. The day she learned her family was moving here was the happiest day of her life, and she never tired of the world or its jungle.
And never would.*

Terra sighed happily and continued to cast her gaze over the spectacular display of light. She was very glad that she had gotten to see this, and very happy that she had made a friend in Morgan. It usually wasn't easy for Terra to forge bonds with others, but she had felt one forming with Morgan as they chatted and played, and she was happy that she had been able to make a new friend so easily. And she couldn't ever remember playing like this when she was Morgan's age, though she had yet to mention her past life as a slave to the girl yet. Ordinarily, one might think it strange for a woman of Terra's age to frolic around naked in a lake, but it almost seemed like her playing with Morgan was making up for having never been able to play like this while living on Nar Shaddaa. Morgan might not know it, but this had meant a lot to Terra, who felt like she had finally gotten to experience a normal part of childhood that had been denied to her when she had been Morgan's age.
She sighed again and sat up. Her body was mostly dry, except for her hair, which of course took longer than the rest of her to dry off. Stretching her arms out, she looked down at Morgan and smiled. She really really didn't want to leave, but they probably had to get back to the base soon so that no one worried about them, and she definitely didn't want a search party to catch her without apparel. "We should...probably go, shouldn't we..."
