Well I was hoping better than that sappy trash. Who comes up with this rubbish? Anyways... not over yet. Still a glimmer of hope for violence....

The place was no secret to him. The exact where was a bit shocking. He watched the girl punch a set of buttons on her Comm. The wall opened and the ship disappeared into the stone. They landed and the hatch opened. He stepped out taking the girl with him, The scene was too much to believe. It was this twisted collision of all of the highest sophistication with all things archaic. And it worked. She certainly was nonchalant about the whole thing. Her people might not be so open... He could not help thinking that he had just stepped foot into the Lion's den. He stopped. -Di- "I have business to attend to...." He entered his ship. The portal opened and he exited with speed

The girls walked into the Den. Home sweet home…. They could both feel something coming on hard and froze

Grand.” Then voice raising up like a title wave and crashing down -Mórrígan- “And tis lovely that one – if not both – of you near got put in a family way!” All falling quiet rose up again -Mórrígan- “Then you drag that amadant back here???” She thought~I was the one who wanted them to get out and do something.... She calmed but allowed what was said to stand~Things move on fast

Catching Mórrígan's eye and maybe her attention Gid asked
"What's next?"
All three sisters paid mind

A ripple in the Force sent a shock wave through Mórrígan. Turning she shouted -Mórrígan- "I have a funny feeling about all of this.... Ciarán! Laoch! Go see what's happening with that amadant Di!" Where exactly the descent of the University at large into complete madness began she wasn't sure. All Mórrígan could be sure of is that it was well on it's way. Hummm.... Looking at the Old man, now in the jovial bliss of semi-retirement. Maybe what he suffers from is contagious.

The Old man, reading Mórrígan like an open book, tossed a boot at the girl's head -An Tiarna- "Don't make any celebrate on some false notion that me being quiet translates effortlessly into retirement." The Old man went back to sharpening a dagger

There is no such thing as coincidence; all things happen for a reason. Fate. Indeed The Old man stood by this axiom. But one had to factor chance into the equation. Chance was in many respects the great equalizer. They played off one another, fate and chance and furnished us with the wonderfully bizarre thing that is life. What would happen next in the winding tale of the Dubh was a mixture of the two. Things were at another crossroad. The trail of the changing tides of abject defeat and shining victory in this story were sundry and made for a rich celebrated history, whether viewed from one end or the other, or inclusively with all things in between. A sudden phenomenon would shake all things, a flamboyant élan characteristic and befitting of this beast. Abruptly, the inanimate material artifacts collected and fiercely guarded by these people evaporated into thin air Bodies began to fade, almost becoming transparent then once again shine brightly, clearer than they ever had before. It was a spectacle to behold this terrifying beauty. So all things old, so bright in their day grow dim with time. And those most brilliant when they burn out still as all others leave no more than ashes behind in their wake. Such is the nature of the world in which we live Were they to be gone for a day, a week, a month, a year or forever that is beyond my breadth of knowledge And so goes the tale of the Mighty Dubh line, save two and a single Raven that rose up out of the ashes soaring high and disappeared The Thieves’ Den returned very much to what it was before, without a drop of evidence of the breach of its’ hallowed walls The mighty universe entire shook in the wake of this loss

Ciarán stood wordlessly as all seemly evaporated into thin air. And Laoch utterly oblivious rooted through a small section of the wild bounty that existed within the ancient keep -Ciarán- “What just happened?” Laoch offered nothing more than gruntal nonsenseable mumbling. Ciarán still utterly stunned at the abrupt metamorphosis that had just occurred gazed around the Den. He tossed another question out -Ciarán- “How are we gonna eat?” Laoch, now filling pockets with various gagets responded with a question -Laoch- “Replicator?” Ciarán shot a glare at Laoch -Ciarán- “Damn fool! That’s from another alternate reality!” Laoch stood agitated hands flailing in the air -Laoch- “I am trying to help Ciarán!” Ciarán now quite animated himself responded -Ciarán- “Really? All I see is you stealin from the dead!” Laoch stood his ground and barked back -Laoch- “Do you honestly think that these people care?” Ciarán, hands clapping together now spoke in a calm explanatory tone -Ciarán- “Look Laoch, all I know is a few minutes ago we was havin some funky family gettin to know you shindig and…..” Fingers snapping -Ciarán- “And now. Now here I am standin alone in this ghoulish freakshow with you pillagin the antiquities.” Laoch fast shot back -Laoch- “I didn’t make em disappear!” The two broke the argument then each looking nervously in the opposite direction of the other. At last Ciaran spoke -Ciarán- “There better be some funky deus ex machina to pull us outta this mess….” Laoch followed that up with a question -Laoch- "Is there air in here?" Again Ciaran glared at Laoch -Ciaran- "Do I really even need to respond to that?"

Ciarán and Laoch were the last remaining artefact of their kind. They stood bewildered and alone in a cold empty sanctuary of mystical vagabonds of days long gone, and more recently a bizarre people whom they called family. What tales will spring from this duet? Let us see – shall we?

The two walked on through the empty den. They were silent. Noise could be heard in the distance. Both instinctively drew weapons. A group of men could be seen huddled around a ship. A Wayfarer transport. Cautiously they crept up on the band. Ciarán counted -Ciarán- “One… two. Three… four….” Turning to Laoch he commented -Ciarán- “10… and that’s a Wayfarer. Well here goes nothing.” His voice rose from a whisper -Ciarán- “Yo!!!” The men all drew weapons frantically looking about. One spoke -Crewman- “Ciarán sir? Laoch sir? We have been waiting. All the others are gone.” Ciarán's eyes narrowed -Ciarán- "Gone where" The officer looked down then back up eyes filled with utter shock and dispair "We don't know sir... they are gone." Ciarán head shifting to the side -Ciarán- “Who are you?” The man spoke -Crewman- “Ummm… your crew. Sir.” Ciarán relaxed - slightly. The eerie answer begged more questions but these seemed pointless pursuing straight away. The two moved closer... carefully. One man stepped forward extending a hand. Loach had a gun at his hand in a heartbeat. Ciarán followed suit. The man held out a hand -Crew- “Your security cards sir….” Ciarán dropped his gun and snatched the cards up, handing one to Laoch. Loach took the card, slowly dropping his revolver -Laoch- “What next?” Ciarán’s hard gaze fell to the ground. After some time he spoke -Ciarán- “We need check out the mighty universe…. See what lives and what don’t.” Nodding at the ship -Ciarán- “What you got onboard?” A crewman answered -Crewman- “We have consumables, personal effects. Our own and as much of yours belongings that we could collect sir.” Laoch asked again -Laoch- “What next?” Ciarán did not respond directly to the question but asked another of his own -Ciarán- “First how do we get off of this rock?” A crewman answered -Crewman- “We have a small hidden entrance.” Laoch smiled asking again -Laoch- "So... what now?" Ciarán reponded - Ciarán- “What next?? I'll tell you what's next. Now… we wander the universe… see what’s what. Manaan first.” An officer added quickly -Crewman- There is a strong Imperial presence now sir...." Ciarán responded - Ciarán- "That don't effect us...." The group organised for departure immediately. Laoch outlined what they were doing in but a few words -Laoch- "This is recon, nothing more... but we really need know what is out there...." Fist raising to shoulder with thumb gesturing behind -Laoch- "Cause we sure know what ain't in here." The latch to the Wayfarer shut and the ship lifted off and slipped out a small portal

Another 10 troops stood at their side. Chatter arose from where they stood as well. The question rose from the Red Hand could be heard and it was the CO among this crew who spoke up -Staff Sergeant- "Indeed... he and all the others went up in a Lake of Fire....." The murmuring rose up high among his own at this cold statement of the truth "All save Ciarán and Laoch...."

The Lámh Dhearg themselves shook as the truth was so boldly told. Their own Staff Sergeant responded -Staff Sergeant- "Those two are CO now...." Murmur arose as the news sunk in deep

The Thieve's Den was almost the exact state that it was before An Tiarna occupied the edifice. Minor adjustments were all that was required. And these adaptions were completed quite easily

A Wayfarer rode what seemed to be a head on into the Thieve's Den then disappeared. A massive explosion set off as it seemingly collided with the rock

The explosion masked the ship slipping into theThieve's Den. As the blast dissipated no evidence of anything was evident. Landing in the hanger the two men and their crew exited. Spoke quite briefly but points were clearly made and yet another mass exodus began
