So, I know that we all reach points where things slip our minds or we don't notice something on the boards. We see it and decide to make a post in response later and forget, or someone posts something, but before others really read it, more posts come and it get caught up in the mix and missed. So, I'm deciding to take it upon myself to keep track of ideas that come through here and the responses to them. For those ideas that got missed or are lingering without a yes no answer of some sort, I'll keep them logged and from time to time, post the ideas to bring back to the Blackguard's attention. Maybe once every couple months or so so it doesn't seem like I'm trying to push ideas. If I bring up an idea you had previously (and you will be mentioned so that proper credit is given its due,) and either don't care much for it now and want it to just be thrown out or if it was discussed in a message or discord with a proper answer, let me know and I'll take it off the list.
With Malvus bringing in the Uvak, and the idea to bring them to Rodia has that topic covered.
Next, I'll bring back up my idea about the Essence Crystal/Rejuvenation Crystal. Here's the rough draft approach for it:

To start, the gathering of materials. Not sure what all would be needed, but actual rp to go out and acquire each bit instead using said resources of the Blackguard. Something that takes a little bit of work to get a hold of or seek out. Say if it was a type of rock that was easily accessible, make it where landing zones had to be a fair bit away over rough terrain and walking was required. Alongside that, only ever getting enough at a time to make one or two, to possibly avoid being detected by anyone (if that would be a thing) or because the items in large quantities so close was dangerous.
Using the logic of amount and dangerous proximity in their natural state, only one can be created at a time so that the energy built from even two doesn't cause some form of backlash. The distance these could be created at the same time would be planets apart or a much sizable distance across a world with a proper work station. No matter how many work on it, give it a while in game time to fully create.
Make each stone tuned to the one wielding it so that no one, even other dark-siders, could use it should their comrades fall. That means at a certain point, the one receiving the item must be there tuning it as its being started/finished. With that, make it so only one can be given to another. Once created, these can be close to each other, but not when possessing the energy from the same being. That would cause an overload that would destroy the items and quite possibly the user and those around them.
Tuning them would also require time. I'd say a 24-48 hours in game time of dedicated rp. However, it wouldn't be wise doing this in one go as the Force is being poured into it thus out of the user. So no being sustained by the Force. And being a dark object, once the user's energy reaches a certain point, there is a sense of conflict that must always be overcome. Not to mention the physical drain from the user. Doing it in small increments over a long period of time avoids all of this but of course takes quite some time. This would possibly limit use between constant mission like what has gone on with the Blackguard where some missions are back to back almost, never allowing the proper time needed to fully refill it.
When using it, it takes a certain number of posts to restore the energy of the user. It can be interrupted and if it is, only the energy restored to that point is gained and the rest just drains out uselessly into the air. Possibly decide a percentage per post for completion. So it can help, say like on Felucia, where you get tired and need more energy, but could also be interrupted at any time if enemies are near by. Plus it sends off quite a signal, allowing people to find you, so hiding only grants so much.
Overall, I'd like to think there are quite a solid number of restrictions on it. My worry is people using time skips and rping backwards in time to justify it being ready, which could be said if an rp is at least not started before a mission, it can't be used.
For instances like Felucia, if we gain more enemies, it allows for the Sith to restore their powers to actually get a real fight without being stuck with NPCs, but doesn't put it in a case where the Sith would technically lose because of the fatigue gained from a previous fight against a strong opponent. Otherwise, if there is no one else to fight or there turned out to be more allies, this item would be unnecessary and it also can't be used while in a fight because even if they were able to focus enough to start the process, they wouldn't be able to go without it being destroyed( which could turn it into a grenade basically) or just wasted.
And the only other question/idea I see at the moment (just glanced through the pages of the new thread) was by
Gavin Phoenix:
With Gavin teaching and the plan of having the Blackguard Twelve make the choice staying students of Gavin even when they'd be considered ready for advanced courses just because they'd rather stick with him until needing to train under others for particular skills. One of the training sessions/trials I had in mind is a hunt style approach. Through Gavin's approach to training apprentices, he has them training on different terrains to strengthen them further, which will be done eventually, but since this is a group, he'll be adding a new touch. Following the idea the Hunger game arenas, Gavin would drop each student in separate locations without their knowledge(while sleeping or something) so not to know the direction of anyone. In starting sessions, once awake, he'd give them the task, which typically is hunting one of the students and defeating them. Eventually, as they become stronger, he'll pit them all against himself.
The question I have is there a place the Blackguard would create this kind of setting, either on one occupied world, or even many to change up terrains. I could just drop them off on a world a go from there, but without the range of a designated arena, it ultimately leaves a whole planet to wander searching for the target, despite being only a couple miles away. Can also be used for other purposes as well: hunting and tracking exercises against prisoners, another form of entertainment of watching prisoners fight each other in a drawn out way instead of straight battle to the death, or even survival exercises against powerful beasts.
Personally, with Rodia now under the Blackguard control, perhaps an arena there? that type of terrain would be the best for that type of thing. Would also be a good start to Luxeria and Gavin's trial/test.
If I missed something you had posted in this thread or in the previous thread, post it up and I'll make a note of it. Sometimes things get missed, or even more, sometimes, ideas just need to wait until other things get rolling. Also, you have an idea, but want to put it on the back burner for the moment, but feel you might forget, send me a message and I'll keep the idea logged. Suggest a time when you think it might be good to throw out and I'll make a note of it.
