Leaning forwards, she extended her hand out and went to flick his hair, "Is that a grey hair? You know you are looking old, right?" Adrien laughed at her comment and decided to quip back as he noticed two lovely ladies walking toward them, this always happened. "No more than you cuz. Grey, silver, tomato, tomahto." He laughed again and downed his glass of wine as he turned to meet their new guests. Vejide, removing her spectacles and depositing them into her purse as they head for Adrien and the woman she is talking with, can scarcely contain her enthusiasm when, having come within speaking and grabbing range of Adrien, she immediately begins speaking, "It is just so amazing to finally meet you! Gesturing towards Adrien with both arms, a huge grin on her face, Vejide says, I mean, look at you! It's you! Here! In the same room as me! It's so amazing!" Flattery. Adrien liked that and of course the source of the flattering was fairly easy on the eyes so he smiply grinned and let her finish. "Likewise it's a pleasure to meet you." Adrien listened to what Auri and the red head, Dikeledi had to say before they walked off together. He grinned at Auri's alleged embarrassing stories, and shrugged at Vejide as if he had no idea what Auri was talking about, though his shrug was purposefully exaggerated implying he did indeed know what she was talking about. Not taking her eyes from Adrien, Vejide nods as she waves one hand towards the bar while patting Adrien's forearm with the other as she says, "Yeah, you two should definitely go get a drink. Have a few, take your time. We'll be just fine here, by ourselves, right Adrien?" "Right, we'll catch up later cuz, have fun." He winked at Auri, knowing she was annoyed and knowing she knew he found it amusing. He turned back to Vejide with his signature roguish grin, "Seems those two are really hitting it off." He said somewhat sarcastically as he sat his empty glass on a passing waiter's tray and grabbed two more, offering one to the lady, "It's a party, our hands should never be empty." He pauses and waits for her to take the glass, "Now, I don't believe I caught your name, Miss...?"Aaron, finding Scott off to the side, wished his cohorts a pleasant evening and made his way over to the dapper-dressed man."Well, well...looks like this turned out particularly-nice, bro! Glad that we finally get this chance to chill out and let off a little steam, eh?" Scott, who was leaning against a wall out of the way, had been watching the characters intermingling and taking notes on who was who so he could see who might be interested in writing with the Draykon Crew in the future. He saw Aaron walking up after entering with Aedon and Na'me.He nodded a hello. "Yeah." He said with slight disappointment in his voice. "I know it's still early but I was hoping for a little bigger turnout, y'know?"

Ty never cared much these sorts of things but he also knew a good chance to network when he saw one and he wasn't the name he used to be. He even dug out his white suit for the occasion. When he walked in he took a look around at the group gathered, he knew most, but not all of the people gathered here. Some of them by reputation only. The bar was across the room and what was a party without a drink? He made his way across the room and leaned on the long bar, "Corellian Reserve, neat. Make it a double." He then sat on the stool next to him and waited patiently for his drink, and the service was pretty quick. Typically he would have ordered Whyren's but for some reason he wasn't in the mood for that. "Thank you." He said to the bartender with a smile as the man served him his drink. Ty wasted no time in taking up his drink , letting the heat from his hand warm the glass he sniffed the rich golden liquid inside, first at his chest, once more at his chin, and finally under his nose. It was immaculate, rich spices and woodsy aromas were intoxicating in and of themselves. With much anticipation he took a small sip to begin and savored the rich flavor for a moment before taking a larger sip.

Isabelle saunters into the ball looking absolutely stunning in her shimmering, backless red dress, the low cut front was held up by spaghetti straps that looped over her shoulder and under her arm, there was a single slit on the left side up to her thigh to show off her black high heels. Her red hair was up revealing her slender neck draped with a diamond and ruby necklace. She smiled wide at the sight of the ball before her, she had been to many of these events but none quite like this one, she usually attended these things to find a good mark and leave them a little poorer with a nice memory of the beautiful red headed woman who had stolen their heart and possibly their wallet, or watch, or jewelry, or whatever she could get her hands on, but for this, she was just here to have a good time and meet people. For now at least. She wanted to take a quick look around the room before she would enter any further.
There's Adrien. He looks busy with the a woman who seems quite smitten with him. Ty is alone at the bar, I could at least say hi, maybe. Who else? Aedon with his amazing purple hair, maybe, but I am already talking to him in the other place. And I don't think I know anyone else. I guess that means I get to mingle.
She seemed to almost float across the floor as she headed for a near by table, taking her seat once she arrived, luckily with a view of just about everyone. By the time the waiter came by she had already decided what she wanted.
"Blossom wine, chilled."

"Right, we'll catch up later cuz, have fun." He winked at Auri, knowing she was annoyed and knowing she knew he found it amusing. He turned back to Vejide with his signature roguish grin, "Seems those two are really hitting it off." He said somewhat sarcastically as he sat his empty glass on a passing waiter's tray and grabbed two more, offering one to the lady, "It's a party, our hands should never be empty." He pauses and waits for her to take the glass, "Now, I don't believe I caught your name, Miss...?" Accepting the glass when offered, Vejide, more than a little relieved to learn that Auri is Adrien's cousin, looks over her shoulder, squinting to see better since her specs are in her purse, towards the bar where Dikeledi and Auri are talking, nodding as she agrees cheerfully, "Yep, they do seem to have, don't they? Don't see that too often, Vejide muses, more to herself than anything, as Dikeledi is not known for being particularly sociable as a general rule. Turning back towards Adrien, Vejide smiles and says, Your cousin, huh? That's awesome!"
Taking a sip of her drink before, after snorting an amused laugh at being addressed as miss, which is not something she is used to being as given the usual company she keeps, answering Adrien's question, Vejide grins crookedly as she teases, "You didn't catch it 'cause I didn't throw it out there. Batting her eyes as she performs what she assumes a curtsy looks like, Vejide does her best impersonation of a sophisticated accent as she introduces herself, Miss Vejide Diya, if you please, Mister Draykon. A true pleasure to make your acquaintance at last. Giggling and resuming her naturally relaxed posture and returning to her usual, decidedly less than refined, manner of speaking, Vejide says, I'm with the Jang crew. Waving a hand, she says, You've probably never heard of us though. Reaching over with her free hand to pat his arm, she smiles and points out, We can't all be as infamous and awesome as you and your crew, now can we?"
Giggling as he points towards a Bothan that has walked in with a purple haired human, Nkosana tells the Bothan that is doing his best to keep the gangly, bearded Nish from stumbling into a white suited human enjoying a whiskey at the bar, "Like, look Sango, another Bothan. You wanna, like, go an' say hel. . ."
Sighing, Sango deposits Nkosana on a stool, "We don't all know one another. Rubbing the brown fur below his snout, Sango, not able to keep being serious despite his attempts to appear less narcotized than his friend, stifles a laugh as he says, You missed some."
Trying to be subtle about it and failing miserably, Nkosana uses an index finger to rub at the purple powdered remnants of the Gree spice on his mustache, then rubs it on his gums as he grins and says, "Like, thanks buddy. Hate to waste good . . ."
Patting Nkosana on the back vigorously to try not to make it any more obvious what they had partaken in prior to heading to the bar, Sango shakes his head while stifling a laugh with the back of a furry hand, adjusts the lapels of his suit jacket and motions the bartender over, ordering Namana shots for himself and Nkosana.
Turning to the human in the white suit enjoying a whiskey, Nkosana asks cheerfully, "So, like, what crew are you with, dude? Hooking a thumb over his shoulder to indicate Sango, he says, We're, like, with the Jang crew."

While she would be more comfortable in her beskar'gam, Neassa's chameleonic nature enables her to appear just as comfortable in the red, floor length, long sleeved, high necked dress as she would in her armor or whatever else she might be wearing to suit whatever guise she might need to adopt. Her waist length brown hair is, atypically, worn in a simple yet elegant half-up hairdo to suit the occasion, and Neassa blows an errant strand out of her eye as she enters the party, her brown eyes automatically searching for exits, possible cover points, and obvious threats despite the fact that she knows there is no need to do so at this particular gathering.
Spotting her captain, Neassa offers Adrien a simple nod in light of the fact that he is engaged in conversation with a diminutive brunette. As she is debating whether to mingle, sit at the bar, or find a table, Neassa hears a familiar voice saying . . . Taking a seat across from Isabelle, Neassa tells the waiter, "Tihaar, neat, and then, as he heads off to get their drinks, looks over at Isabelle and smiles as she asks in an amused tone which implies she is not truly concerned by, given their history if not how well they know one another given how adept they both are at revealing precisely and only what they want to reveal of themselves, the unlikely prospect that Isabelle might object to Neassa joining her, You don't mind if I join you, right?"

The rest of the crew hadn't arrived yet and truth be told Daniel had no idea how he had even gotten here but here he was, dressed in his only suit and apparently ready for a party. Just through the door there was music that he seemed to gravitate toward, but once he was inside he cared very little about the music, it was all background noise for the people here. He saw one particular person who didn't seem to be talking to anyone so he made his way over to him. "Hello, I don't believe we've met, I'm Daniel Logan." He smiled and extended his hand to the man. Xeonon had since moved on to a holo of an ancient battle. Although his knowledge of recent history was good he was a little more foggy on the older stuff.
Turning he saw a bespectaled man extend his hand to shake it. Concious of the ffact his right hand was a prothstetic that could cause some damage Xeonon flipped over his left hand and shook Daniels rather awkwardly.Nice to meet you Daniel, Im Xeonon Solomon. One hell of a party Adrien threw eh?

"I wanted to be a ballerina. Laughing as she nods, reaching over to pat Auri's arm coquettishly, Dikeledi says, But, you know, she shrugs a shoulder, the universe did that conspiring thing it does and, she lifts an arm and gestures around them to indicate where they have both wound up, here I am." Pausing to take a sip of her drink, Dikeledi looks back over to Auri, lowering her eyelids alluringly, and says, "Like you said though, the meeting new people part of the deal can be fun n' exciting at times." Auri had finished her cocktail, and picked up the second one that had been placed beside her, this time a little straw had been offered with it and she delicately took a sip through it, her eyes not leaving Dikeledi as she spoke."A ballerina?" She grinned, glancing the red head up and down as if judging her poise and frame, "I bet you are a wonderful dancer! You have the figure for it, maybe you could put on a show for us here?!" Auri giggled, the alcohol might have already started going to her head as she was now starting on her third drink and they weren't being stingy with the alcohol tonight. Leaning closer, she lowered her voice a little conspiratorially, "I may be talked into dancing too with a few more of these, I don't have the grace of a ballerina but I have more rhythm than the rest of my family put together." She flashed a cat like smile, "I'm glad I met you, I think tonight is going to be a lot of fun." She raised the glass as if in a toast and then took another sip through the straw, the smile not fading as she felt the alcohol hit her throat.

Amy shrugged a little nonchalantly at the query, but she did give an answer, “I don't really think we have a name for ourselves, but our captain is Galdaart Fel. Heard of him? Well, he's brought together a group of people and I guess, we're another crew now. Hmm, Nameless Ones. That might work...it also kinda sounds like a religion, though...” She shrugged again and sipped her drink some more, “Eh, no matter. So, Han Der, what do you do? Moondance Crew, huh?” A crew without a name. That was an interesting one. He had certainly heard of the Fel Crew, which Galdaart had previously led. But he had yet to hear about this new incarnation. As Ami-Lee said the Nameless Ones sounded like a religion, he shrugged his shoulders You said it sista, not me... He took another sip from his drink then, as Ami asked him about what he did We dance on the moon... And there his translator went, deciding to act up on him. He tapped the small device with his finger We're what you call... smugglers. We move goods from place to place...

Dikeledi laughs, shaking her head as she explains, "Actually, according to my instructors when they started suggesting that I look into other types of dance, my physique is all wrong for ballet. Nodding and taking a sip of her drink, she says with a shrug, Too tall and too, ahem, full-figured apparently. I haven't danced, ballet or otherwise, she says while scrunching her face up in a playfully exaggerated portrait of searching one's memory, in years, so I think I'll spare everyone the painful sight of me trying to be something nature did not intend for me to be. Dikeledi grins mischievously and lifts an index finger from her glass to point at Auri as she jokes, So I guess I'll just have to make sure that you have a few more of those, and then try my best to convince you to get out there and show us all that rhythm of yours."
Lifting her own glass when Auri does so as though making a toast, Dikeledi nods with a beguiling smile in agreement to the sentiment Auri expresses, quipping, "Oh, I'm really glad you met me too, and then proposes her own toast, To having fun."

"Doesn't take much to convince me to show off, I have to confess."Leaning back from Dikeledi, Auri pouts a little, feigning upset at she had been refused a dance then shrugging it off she lifted her hand to indicate to the server to give them another round. If she was going to get drunk then she wasn't going to do it alone, and she still held out hope that a slightly more inebriated first mate might be more pliable to dancing with her. The floor was still sadly empty for a party that was now in full swing. "So, Red," Her eyes teased and flickered as she tried to read her new friend's expression at the use of the nickname, "If dancing isn't what nature intended, tell me what are you good at? I'm sure nature blessed you in many ways other than just your full figure." It was Auri's turn to grin mischievously back.

"Good to know," Dikeledi tells Auri with a playfully arched eyebrow and a matching grin when informed that it does not require a great deal of persuasion to persuade Auri to show off. The amused and certainly not at all displeased smile that curls the right corner of her lips upward when Auri christens her with the nickname 'Red' reveals Dikeledi's pleasure having been given the nickname by Auri, and she tilts her head to the side after Auri has asked her question, lips pursed in thought as she considers how best to answer it.
"You mean, Dikeledi says while batting her eyelashes and speaking in an intentionally comically husky voice, lifting her right hand to gesture at her face, blessed in ways other than my good looks, charm and wit? Laughing and downing the last of her first drink as the server sets their next round of drinks on the bar in front of her and Auri, Dikeledi adds in her normal voice, deciding to share things other than her martial skills at the moment, Well, let's see . . . I'm a decent dejarik player, I'm not bad on the limmie field, aaaand I have a knack for picking up new languages quickly and easily. Picking up her drink, Dikeledi tips it towards Auri as she says, Your turn, Kitten, she arches an eyebrow inquisitively while trying to gauge Auri's reaction to the nickname, What heretofore unrevealed gifts are you possessed of in addition to achingly exquisite comeliness, bewitching charisma, and utterly adorable drollery?"

"Kitten? I'm not sure I'm innocent enough for such a name, cute though." Auri took a drink through the straw, gazing upwards as if deep in confused thought at what gifts she could possibly have and reveal. Eventually dropping the drink down. "Well I think you nailed my main skills right there, but I'll let you into a secret." She leaned really close and dropped her voice to a whisper, "I make a pretty amazing Melahnese Green Fire Sauce Fodu, I stole the recipe off a relative of the chef to the Emperor and its spicy but delicious. I try not to let people know though, they only start expecting me to cook all the meals for them and there are better ways to spend a day than in a kitchen."

Arching an eyebrow in theatrical shock when Auri suggests that she is not innocent enough to be nicknamed kitten, which is amusing given that it is probably safe to assume that no one here at the Smuggler's Ball is anything close to innocent, Dikeledi winks and jokes, "Thanks for the warning, Kitten." Leaning in closer to Auri when the blonde haired woman leans close, clearly more than content to be in such intimate proximity, Dikeledi rests her chin on the fingers of her right hand as she listens intently to Auri's answer to the question about her gifts.
Smiling in a mischievously flirty way, Dikeledi shakes her head and says, "Well, rest assured that you have nothing to fear, Kitten. I can promise you that if we ever had a day to spend together, I wouldn't succumb to such a spectacularly criminal lack of imagination where thinking of ways to spend it is concerned. Lifting her pinkie finger to her lips to bite the tip of her nail, Dikeledi laughs and shakes her head as she says in a tone as bemused as it is disbelieving, Cooking for them was all they could think of, really? Wow. Tracing an index finger along the rim of her glass, Dikeledi asks, From a relative of the chef to the Emperor, huh? Sounds like an interesting story."

Amy's eyebrow arched upwards when Han spoke about his crew dancing on the moon. Evidently he had a translator that had a mind of its own. Or Jawanese was that hard to translate. “Sounds like just about everyone that's likely to enter here today.” She looked at him thoughtfully, “Ya got a nice ship or somethin' t' go with th' group? We're presently flying a piece of poodoo CR70. Hopin' t' get an upgrade real soon.” Han was pretty certain Ami-Lee was right that most of the people here would be smugglers, given that it was the smugglers ball after all. He paused a moment as she asked about the ship his crew traveled on. A question which prompted him to think about the answer a moment CR70's are decent. We've got a rather modified Consular-class cruiser Charger C70 retrofit. It gets us where we're going... Anyway, I hope you enjoy the party, and perhaps we might meet again some day... Han tipped his glass to Ami-Lee before dismounting the stool and strolling off into the gathering crowd

“Take care yerself, Han.” said Amy, her drink raised in salute to him.
After the Jawa left, she remained where she was, just watching the comings and goings, but not really concerned about walking up to people to make conversation. If anyone was interested in talking to her, they could see she was not exactly brandishing weapons in all directions or fortifying herself behind barriers, so she simply left it at that, enjoying the beverages and snacks available.

Scott, who was leaning against a wall out of the way, had been watching the characters intermingling and taking notes on who was who so he could see who might be interested in writing with the Draykon Crew in the future. He saw Aaron walking up after entering with Aedon and Na'me.He nodded a hello. "Yeah." He said with slight disappointment in his voice. "I know it's still early but I was hoping for a little bigger turnout, y'know?" Turning to look out at the crowd, Aaron shrugged. "I dunno, man...the night's still young, we've got the place rented out for the whole weekend; people could just be looking to arrive fashionably-late, y'know?"
It was true enough...this party could last for days on end, if anyone so desired. Aaron heard tell that there was even a card tournament that was supposed to go on at some point. Several different games from all sorts of different universes - sabaac, dejarik, poker...maybe even a hand or two of Wicked Grace would make the rounds. One could hardly expect the Smuggler's Ball to be anything but entertaining. Aaron and Scott would see to that, certainly.
Aaron stopped a server droid for a moment as it passed by.
"Would you mind bringing me a nice, neat glass of Whyren's Reserve? And set my man Scott up here with a Wookiee Wallbanger, will ya?"
The droid squawked out an affirmation, then waddled off to procure the beverages.“Take care yerself, Han.” said Amy, her drink raised in salute to him. The crew of the "Veritas", out on leave...Na'me could hardly contain his excitement -- sarcasm, of course, but no one else would know that unless you knew this particular crew. Aedon had meandered off somewhere, which left Na'me - the tan-furred Bothan with his slick white suit on - to his own devices. He'd managed to swipe a beverage from the bar - the only seemingly-busy place in the hall this evening. It was enough to say that Na'me was unaware of what an "Old Fashioned" was, but stang, was it ever tasty. He noticed - in his perusing - a particularly odd sight with a small Jawa scuttling away from a young woman. He was careful not to grin too widely, but took a moment to nod in the woman's direction while tilting his glass in a pointing manner toward the small being.
"Not something you see too often," He paused, then explained himself. "a Jawa, I mean, so far from their home planet." He shrugged "Of course, I'd prolly do whatever it took to get off that permanent beach-world, too..." He turned back to the woman, offering his hand in greeting. "My apologies. Na'me He're, of the 'Veritas' crew. How are you, this evening?"
He offered his best version of a Bothan smile, his green eyes locked onto hers.

Amy nodded at the Bothan and raised her own glass in an informal greeting and acknowledgement of him, then glanced towards where she last saw the Jawa going, “Not often,” she said casually, “but not unheard of either. Seen a few of 'em almost any planet I been to.”
She accepted the offered hand and shaking it, “Ami-Lee Westar, yeah, like the gun. Y'can jus' call me Amy or Millie, whichever you prefer. An' I'm doing fine. Interestin' gatherin' goin' on 'ere. Oh, an' I'm from a crew...we're still workin' on a name...”

Westar...it was less of the notoriety of the weapon type and more of the family name that caused Na'me's eyebrow to raise. That, coupled with her accent, suggested a few things that would lead the average galactic citizen to recognize her origin likely came from Corellia. And if that were true...Na'me reached up and tugged at the tuft of hair on his chin, trying to seem inquisitive, but slightly aloof.
"Westar, eh? There's a name straight outta my ancient past...used to know a Westar back in my day, helluva gunslinger." He paused a moment, almost instantly dismissing the thought. "Ehh, nevermind...you were saying something about the gathering being 'interesting'?" He looked around, finding more and more of the players he'd known around the block. "You have a talent for understatement, it seems. Having this many 'entrepreneurs' in one spot should usually signal the End of Times..."

Amy was a little intrigued by Na'me's choice of words. Ancient past? How old was he? Well, in a universe this diverse, she was bound to run into people who didn't look their age, so maybe he was one such person. Either way, this piece of history didn't particularly interest Amy, since she was a Westar in name only, and didn't know of too many relatives outside of her uncles, Jaime and Ruubin. Also, if she was related to the one who made the infamous blaster that hung on her right hip, she had no idea, nor really cared to find out. She'd probably just wind up getting the person arrested for associating with her.
His next remark made her scoff and grin, “End of Times?” she said, “Being a tad dramatic there, don't'cha think?”
