10 standard troops = 1 light vehicle
Does the light vehicle include starfighters?
Basically, can i convert troops in into space vessels?

From what I remember from the older iterations of the site, you could convert ground units into starfighters, but they had to be part of the planetary defense force, as in they could operate within the atmosphere as an airforce

Light Vehicles do not include Starfighters. Starfighters are listed as Starfighters under the fleet allowances. Light Vehicles does include airspeeders however. Your ground force allotment and fleet allotment are separate things.
